Well hello! This is A new goal-fanfiction's new chapter. See ya next chapter.
Natsuki was walking with Sasuke on the sidewalk on the side of a Tokyo street.
Natsuki was wearing a beige winter coat, black pants, brown winter boots, and she had red gloves on her hands, and a red hat on her head, and a blue-striped scarf around her neck.
It was snowing, and the streets were covered in snow. The streetlights had Christmas decorations on them, because it was December, and the shop windows had Christmas decorations on them.
Sasuke was wearing a black winter coat, dark gray pants, black gloves, and black shoes, and the hood of the coat was up on his head.
There were cars driving on the road, and the sun had risen a couple of hours ago.
The adults and teenagers of Orihime Private were on Christmas break now, and Natsuki and Sasuke were going to the library.
Natsuki stopped in front of a bridal shop window to look at the bridal gowns on the shelf behind the window, fascinated by what she saw:
"Beautiful, aren't they? Have you ever seen the movie called A December Bride? David Winning directed it. I watch it sometimes at Christmas".
"A December Bride?" Sasuke asked, stopping next to Natsuki.
"The main character in that movie is an interior designer, a woman named Layla O'Reilly. Layla has always dreamed of being a December bride like her mother, but when her cousin Jessica, who has moved back to her hometown, meets Layla's fiancé, her dreams are shattered. Layla gets an old acquaintance, Seth Murphy, to be her cousin and ex-fiancé's companion for the wedding, but things get out of hand when they are supposedly engaged. The families fall in love forever, and breaking off the fake engagement is not as easy as you might think," Natsuki said. "Ironically, because Seth was the one who introduced Layla's ex-fiancé to Layla's cousin, which resulted in Layla's ex-fiancé leaving Layla for Jessica. You should watch that movie. How would it feel to be a bride at some point? Ugh! Silly talk, because I look pretty boring to some men, and I embarrassed myself really badly once as a result."
"Or did you embarrass yourself?" Sasuke asked.
"You don't want to hear about it, because it was a really stupid incident," Natsuki said. "As a result, I avoid talking about the whole thing in any way."
Natsuki went inside the nearby library, and then started to examine the books on the shelves until she saw the title of one of the books:
"Social Interaction Management".
Natsuki took the book, and then sat down on the chair at the table closest to her, and then started reading the book when Sasuke entered the library.
"Do you read books like that?" Sasuke asked after seeing the title of the book Natsuki was reading.
"It just seemed interesting," Natsuki said. She continued reading, and relaxed a bit when she had something else to think about.
"Did you really embarrass yourself?" Sasuke asked in disbelief, as this was the first time he had heard Natsuki say something like that. That's why Sasuke was now wondering what kind of situation that had really been, and why it was still bothering Natsuki.
"At least that's how it felt to me, and that's why I don't even like to talk about it, because it was much worse than that roller skating situation I told you about earlier," Natsuki said, concentrating on her reading.
"How did you feel when you watched that movie you mentioned earlier?" Sasuke finally asked, changing the subject.
"Because Layla's ex-fiancé and Layla's cousin didn't think about Layla's feelings at all when they got married. Layla's acquaintance Seth apologized to Layla for introducing Layla's ex-fiancé to Layla's cousin, because Seth hadn't guessed that Layla's ex-fiancé would leave Layla for Jessica," Natsuki said.
"Or something like that?" Sasuke asked.
"Really. Sorry senpai, but I recently heard that you live alone with your brother. I don't really understand what it's like to have siblings, because I'm an only child. I've sometimes wondered what it would be like to have siblings. My aunt Yoriko and her daughter Karin live in Sapporo, which is why I mostly only keep in touch with them by phone and email," Natsuki said, changing the subject.
"I hope senpai doesn't think I'm hopeless now, that I told him about, that embarrassing thing I did. I'd like to tell senpai, how I feel, but it's still too early to do that, since we've only been friends for a couple of months, and for now I'm just going to settle for that," Natsuki decided as she read the pages of the book.
"Listen, if you don't want to talk about, that embarrassing incident you mentioned earlier, then you don't have to talk about it. Siblings are good company, but sometimes they can be a little annoying. My brother Itachi is usually really calm, but sometimes he can be annoying, because he sees through some well-made attempts at hiding," Sasuke finally said.
"Okay," Natsuki said. She felt a little relieved, because Sasuke didn't seem to be changing his opinion of her.
