Two Successors Hanging with Others
Akko is seen laying on her bed after being able to escape from her very worried parents when they heard about what happened at UA High, they didn't want to let her go and quite literally too though she assured them that everything is fine.
"Oh man, good to be home on my bed." Akko sighed in relief.
She looks up to the ceiling to see a poster of the Shiny Chariot hero, her idol and mentor to master the powerful wand.
"Fighting those villains with everything she had, even when it comes like all was gonna be lost… I am so glad to be a hero fan!" Akko smiled proudly.
But she also knows very well on how tough villains can be when they start showing what they are truly capable of, how dangerous they can be with more than just their scary faces and scary Quirk, they can also be smart to destroy anything in their way like that Nomu thing being made to destroy All Might.
"(We were really lucky that fate was on our side to win that fight, but I'm not sure if we'll be able to survive if they try to attack again.)" Akko thought worried.
And then she remembers what Shiny said to her and Izuku back in Recovery Girl's office.
"She believes in me and my classmates, I'll make sure not to let her down!" Akko determined.
"Oh, I wonder how Izuku is doing?" Akko took out her phone and text him. Good thing she got his contact after the first day in class.
Akko: Hey, are you doing okay?
Akko waited for a while for Izuku to reply, and the boy did send her back a text of his own.
Deku: I'm doing fine, just got home safe.
Akko: Me too! The villain attack was totally unexpected.
Deku: You can say that again, I'm just glad we were able to get out of there alive and you're all okay.
"Aw, worrying about others than himself." Akko finds that trait to be cute.
Akko: I'm glad you're safe too. So, tomorrow we have a day off from school.
Deku: That's what the principal said in the announcement, to help us feel at ease from the whole ordeal.
"Hmm, that means we have the entire day to ourselves. I wonder what we should do now?" Akko asked herself.
But then she receives another text and this one isn't from Izuku, instead it's from someone Akko knows well.
"You know what? I think I just thought of something we can do tomorrow!" Akko smiled and put in the text message.
Akko: Do you mind if we hang out tomorrow? Meet up by the beach?
Akko waited for a moment for Izuku to reply though it's taking him a bit longer to respond, hoping he doesn't have any plans tomorrow.
Deku: … Sure, I'm good with tomorrow. How about we meet up at 10:30?
Akko: Great! Meet you there! I may have a couple of surprises for you.
"Okay, looks like I got myself a date!" Akko excitedly.
But then Akko suddenly blushes like crazy with her eyes widen upon realizing what she just said to herself. A date? Did she really just think of her hang out with Izuku as a date?
"No, no, it's not a date! After all, I'm going to be bringing others to this hang out, so this doesn't count as a date." Akko proclaimed with her cheeks still blushing.
And yet, her heart wouldn't stop beating like crazy as she hugs tightly onto her pillow.
(The Next Day)
Izuku is seen by the staircase that goes down to the beach, he looks well enough with some normal clothes and looking at the time on his smartphone.
"I hope I'm not too early." Izuku told himself.
"Izuku! I'm here!" Akko called out to him.
The sudden voice of Akko causes Izuku to flinch and jiggle his phone almost dropping it until he caught it in his hands and turn around to see her coming, along with two other girls behind her.
"(Who are those two? Friends of her?)" Izuku thought asked curiously.
"Hey, glad you're here! I hope you're ready for a fun day together!" Akko smiled.
"Y-Yeah, ready as I'll ever be!" Izuku nodded stutter and his cheeks blushed a little.
"Oh, he looks red. Did you put a spell on him to change colors?" One pale-looking girl asked joking a little.
"Pretty sure he's just nervous to meet us in person." The girl with glasses believed.
"This is my surprise! I wanted to introduce you to my two best friends in the whole world! And I'm hoping you guys would get along!" Akko gestured to the two girls.
"My name is Sucy Manbavaran, hope you don't mind if I get a look at the scars you got from the villain attack yesterday." Sucy grinned which scares Izuku a bit.
Sucy is a tall, thin girl who bears an image of a stereotypical witch. She has pale, grayish skin, mauve hair, and red eyes with white pupils. She comes off as laid-back, with droopy, half-lidded eyes that make her look indifferent or lethargic half of the time. Her left eye is covered by a large fringe of hair. She wears a black shirt with a pink skull and cross bones, pale purple shorts, and black shoes.
"Hi, I'm Lotte Jansson, it's really nice to meet you." Lotte smiled at Izuku.
Lotte is a Finnish girl with below-average height. She has short bright orange hair which can appear blonde at different lightings secured by a navy-blue headband and turquoise blue eyes. She has pale skin complexion, with freckles on her cheeks and nasal bridge. She wears semi-rimless eyeglasses with mauve frames and large, round lenses with a strong prescription that magnifies her eyes. She wears an order shirt with a skirt feature and a pale purple shirt underneath, long brown socks, and white shoes.
"Oh, it's nice to meet you two. I'm Izuku Midoriya." Izuku introduced himself.
"You're also the guy who goes by Deku these days, pretty weird and unusual." Sucy commented, making him feel a bit nervous.
"Well, I say it's pretty cute like it has the meaning "You can do it" and all that!" Akko believed.
"Wow, did you thought of that when you called him that?" Lottee asked.
"No, he already had the nickname before I met him. Apparently, this guy who literally explodes with his hands calls him Deku as a way to insult him since childhood." Akko explained.
"For real? This guy must not think highly of you." Sucy said.
"Yeah, you could say he has always been the type to call people by other names than their real ones, and he think so highly of himself that he doesn't bother himself to remember their names." Izuku explained.
"Yeah, he's kind of mean and all, but he's not all bad… If you steer, clear from him." Akko said with a nervous smile.
"Actually, Akko might not be far off from Deku being that you can do anything." Lotte said as she gently pushes back her glasses.
"Huh, I am?" Akko asked surprise.
"Yep, a pun on the Japanese word "Dekunobou", meaning "good for nothing". But it can also be an abbreviation for "Dekiru", someone who can do anything." Lotte explained about the word.
"Wow! I never really consider that!" Izuku amazed.
"Still, it's cool that you get to be in the Hero Course and from what you told us about your classmates, and you also have another Magic Quirk user too!" Lotte smiled.
"Oh, you told them about us?" Izuku asked Akko.
"Yeah, I've been telling them about the few days since UA started at lunch and hanged out with them the day before the USJ." Akko mentioned.
"Wait, you girls go to UA High too?" Izuku asked shock.
"Yeah, but we've been put in the general studies course because we couldn't make the cut with the entrance exam." Sucy rolled her eyes and pouted a little.
"But we still got into UA and we're really proud for Akko who got into the Hero Course! Now she'll be carrying our dreams to the beyond!" Lotte smiled, holding hands with Akko and Sucy together.
"Akko is going to blow everyone away, and I do mean literally." Sucy grinned.
"And you know what…?" Sucy walked up to Izuku, leaning her face closer to him.
"Huh, what?" Izuku asked, feeling nervous about this girl being so close to him.
"You somehow remind me a lot of Akko." Sucy commented.
"I do?" Izuku surprised, this girl just said that he reminds her a lot of Akko.
"Yeah, Akko wouldn't stop talking about how brave and awesome you are with the willpower to never give up no matter how bad things get! It's like you inspired Akko to be even stronger too!" Lotter stated.
"Oh, come on, girls! I wasn't saying that much." Akko said, feeling embarrassed from this as she covers her face with her hands.
"Are you kidding? The way you were going on and on about Izuku being "awesome" and"
"Okay! I think that's enough talking! Shouldn't be getting a move on to start our hang out day!" Akko quickly shoved her hands onto Sucy's mouth to stop her from talking.
Izuku's face is turning red from hearing what Sucy was saying about how Akko thinks of him and could have sworn that his heart just skipped a beat.
"Come on, we should go to the arcade together!" Akko said as she quickly grabs Izuku's hand and drags him along.
"Hey, wait up!" Lotte called out as she and Sucy walk after them.
But Izuku got himself out of the blushing state when he realizes something and wanted to confirm with Akko about something.
"Hey, Akko?" Izuku said, getting her attention.
"So, you told your friends about us and our class? But you didn't tell them about our Quirks and our mentors?" Izuku asked whispering into her ear.
"Oh no, of course not!" Akko shook her head.
"I may have told them about a lot of things, but I made a promise to Shiny that I wouldn't tell a single soul about the Shiny Rod and not a word about One for All too!" Akko stated strongly.
"Good, just wanted to be sure." Izuku sighed in relief.
"But I have to say, you sure gotten yourselves some really good friends." Izuku commented as he looks back at Lotte and Sucy.
"Yeah, those two have been with me since we got in middle school together in our first year. I don't know how my life would be like without those two." Akko smiled proudly.
"I'm also glad to have met you when I crash landed during my broom practice." Akko smiled.
"Oh, you mean how you broke my ribs back then?" Izuku joked, causing the two to laugh together.
Izuku and Akko smile at each other feeling something like bubbles rising from within as they can feel calm and peace when they're just next to each other, and still holding each other's hands.
Once they realize about the hand thing, they quickly jump in shock letting go of each other with their faces blushing hard into bright red.
"S-So, what did Lotte said we were going?" Izuku asked, the shy moment is making him forget.
"R-Right! She said something about going to the arcade. We better get going before all the good prizes are gone!" Akko said as she moves a little faster ahead.
"Say, do you think those two are boyfriend and girlfriend?" Sucy asked Lotte about how those two have been behaving around each other.
"I don't think so, they just started high school like the rest of us." Lotte shrugged.
"Although, I have a pretty funny feeling that those two are definitely going to be closer than they realize almost like they were destined to be together." Lotte theorized.
"Oh, now that's what I call a destined bond." Sucy chuckled.
"Just don't to get any funny ideas like trying to force them to be together." Lotte warned.
"Whatever you say." Sucy shrugged.
"Hey, are you two coming?" Akko called out to her two friends.
(An Old Small Building)
The scene shows of a room with a small TV placed inside a bookshelf on with the room itself being dark and only single short figure is sitting on the couch, the figure is also watching the news about villains attacking the USJ that happened yesterday.
And there's a letter on the table along with a plate of frozen fish treats that was done cooking in the microwave, a letter written by All Might.
Which is the first time in years since he got any word from All Might since they last saw each other.
Greetings, the air is warm here. It feels like summer is just around the corner. I hope this letter finds you well, sir. In good health and even better spirits. This semester, I took a position as a teacher in UA High School. That's right, I'm now guiding the next generation of heroes. I was hoping to find someone worthy of inheriting my power among the elite students at the school. A hero-in-training with outstanding test scores and a powerful Quirk.
However, before I ever began my tenure at UA, I met a young man. Even though he was weak, and had no Quirk of his own, he showed incredible bravery. He rushed into a dangerous situation that caused pro heroes including myself to hesitate and managed to save the life of a classmate. He may not have had a plan when he acted, but he knew he had to do something.
I feel like watching this young man spring into action taught me something that day, and it reminded me of the virtues I must embody in order to call myself a pro, a hero.
That's why… I meant it when I said this to him: "Young man, you too can become a hero."
Soon after that, I told this pupil the secret of my Quirk, and proposed that I transfer it to him. This ability I have, that's been passed on from person to person, cultivated, and made stronger, the crystallization of power that binds itself to a courageous heart for the good of those in need: One for All.
Oh yeah, Shiny also found herself a successor for the Shiny Rod. She's a young girl with lots of spirit and a strong positive, and more open than my successor. But the two are getting along well.
They accepted the powers without hesitation, and I began training him for the trails he'd need to overcome in order to be accepted into the hero course at UA High School. Even though he sometimes struggles with his newfound abilities, he never stopped fighting, and gave 100% as he tries to harness One for All.
I don't like to toot my own horn, but I believe I found the perfect person to pass my Quirk on to. He has shown me time and again that he has what it takes to be a real hero.
I'm still quite new to the role of instructor. The day may come when I must trouble you, my old teacher, for advice. I'll be counting on your wisdom and patience when that time comes. At least got Shiny by my side, I always feel safe and calm with her around and feel strong too.
Shiny has also been training her successor well though she does have some trouble with her own Magic Quirk like her spells end up blowing up in her face, but she's doing her best. She also has a strong belief in magic, and kind of reminds me of my wife back in the days when we were younger.
Until then, please take care of yourself as the season begins to change. I'll continue to keep you updated about what's happening.
Sincerely yours, Toshinori Yagi.
"So, Toshinori has found a worthy successor." The old man said, having a small smile on his face while scratching her butt a little.
