Damian watches the group of wrestlers surrounding Luke, trying to figure out what can be done to fix things. There's a lot of things going on, between the Digimon stalking Ariya Daivari from the digiworld to earth and back again because of his ability to control various cameras. Now there's this digimon observing them from a tree near Luke's cavern, and no one knows how to handle it. He leans against the cave wall, arms crossed over his shoulder, as he exhales slowly.
Rhea is gone, injured again, and he feels excessively lonely without her, Arkadimon resting against his knee and watching on with a worried look on his face. "Damian," he finally says.
"It's fine," Damian says, reaching down and scratching at his partner's head, between his horns. "Everything's going to be ok."
Arkadimon hums, his claws digging into Damian's pants. "If you want me to go after Quartzmon," he says, letting his words drift off as Damian glances over at where the digimon is remaining, watching them closely.
"No, no," Damian says. "I think for now we'll listen to Luke's advice. He's not doing anything to us, so let's not antagonize him. But if that changes, I'll let you know."
"Alright," Arkadimon says reluctantly. "If you're sure."
"I am," Damian chuckles. "Don't worry, everything'll be fine."
Arkadimon nods, staying close as Damian turns to walk over to the others. He's barely taken one step when there's a loud noise and Damian looks up just in time to see Quartzmon still staring at him, lunging off of the tree towards him. "DAMIAN!" he cries out, pushing his partner out of the way and taking all of Quartzmon's weight himself as the digimon buries its tentacles deep into Arkadimon's body.
Damian freezes, disbelieving how uqickly it'd all happened. "Arkadimon!"
