Title: Saccharine
Theme: #30 Kiss
Fandom: Nanatsu no Taizai/Seven Deadly Sins
Pairing KingxDiane
Note: FLUFF. So much fluff it should be called WAFF. This chapter is also M-rated so you were warned. I wanted to end this challenge in a way that represents what I think of King and Diane's love. Precious and pure. A truly beautiful pairing. So this chapter is not a deep thought-provoking thing. It's King and Diane at it's core. Love. Nothing more, nothing less.
Disclaimer: I refuse to put this on the last chapter. Everyone knows by now that I don't own it!
Saccharine
She awoke to caresses and soft fingers stroking her jawline. She murmured his name, voice thick with sleep. He smiled softly, looking so at home with the late dawn glow illuminating him in her vision and surrounding him in a halo of golden light. He looked ethereal.
King bent forward with delicate care to press a kiss to her mouth. A dusting of rose-petal pink crossed her features as she pushed herself up from the bed to return the greeting. The whisper of his name was just past her lips when she pressed them to his, her hand reaching up to cradle his neck.
They parted with a swell and release of feeling, their eyes catching, the iridescent light of the room reflecting off the amber and violet irises. His nose skimmed her cheek as he roamed her skin with his mouth, trailing kisses in the space between her ears and neck, finding the delicate spot just beneath her jaw and making her sigh in contentment. Diane reached up and tugged at King's cravat, wordlessly making her intention known. He gave her an embarrassed chuckle, charmed by her enthusiasm as he loosened the neck piece with a single finger and tossing the silk aside with his jacket following seconds after. He returned to his petting, pushing the bed covers from her form to gain access to all the skin her simple shift offered. Diane giggled as she scooted back on the bed, allowing enough room for him to place his knee in the space between her legs. She flushed, her mind far too focused on the feel of his palms as they slid down her sides, tracing the curves of her waist. She looked up at him and he gifted her with a kiss so deep her lips tingled, swollen, when he pulled away. He fingered the hem of her nightdress teasingly, making her moan slightly. Her arms wound around his neck, her body pushing forward until her breasts only just pressed against his chest. She nipped at him, secretly marveling at the masculine carve of his neck and growing aroused by it.
He hissed from between his teeth, gripping her hips roughly, when she bit down on his collarbone, her hands busily working at getting his shirt completely unbuttoned. The scrape of her fingers on his stomach when she managed to finally disrobe him caused him to gently toss her into the pillows, a flurry of feathers filling the air. He straddled her, the visible bulge in his pants making her mouth grow dry though not for too long because she soon found her face caged in his hands and his tongue pushing past her lips to warmly mingle with her own.
His mouth was honey sweet, the heat of his body over her nearly overpowering. She was warm, pleasantly so, her body reacting to the closeness of his. Moans from the back of her throat, a gasp when their mouths briefly parted so that he could heatedly mumble an "I love you." before he was back and they became enthralled in each other.
She was aflame in the passions of love, her heart beating a quick tattoo that sent her blood pulsing in her veins, fueling her ardor. His body was tuned to her touch, tremors vibrating through his wings, the taste of her incensing his fervor. Her hips hitched up, rubbing against the throbbing bulge of his arousal and it took everything he had to keep from whining. Instead his hands left her cheeks to grab her wrists and roughly slam them over her head. She nearly purred, her back arching, which only sent his head reeling with dizziness. He shifted them so that her legs were resting on his hips, her broad thighs squeezing him. Their foreheads met gently and they gazed at each other with quickened breaths, King's eyes narrowed in a mock challenge. Diane loved that look on him because it more often than not preceded a moment of passion between them and he usually assumed a more dominant role in their lovemaking. She studied him with a particularly sweet look. "I love you."
Her words had the desired effect as she found herself alone and cold for only an instant before hands were none too gently tugging her clothes over her head and their was a sound of something ripping before she was pulled into the cradle of his arms, head tucked underneath his chin. She smiled against his flawless skin, nuzzling him as her arms wrapped around his back.
Lightly, as carefully as she could be, she prodded the base of his left wing, shivering as she felt the delicate but smooth texture. King's shoulders shuddered, her name escaping his mouth with a groan. "Is...Is it too much?"
He shook his head, hair falling over his eyes. She craned her neck back to get a proper look at him. "Are you sure?"
He shivered, once, his wings cool to the touch and a perfect contrast to the heat of his body. Instead of answering her he placed a hand atop her head, his other arm uncoiling from her waist to deftly grip the swell of her hip, his thumb pressing on the spot just below her belly button. She felt her heart begin to race again when he used the hand on her head to pull her face up, exposing her neck, only to all but scream when she felt his tongue dart out to taste the hollow of her throat before continuing down to her chest. She had always been sensitive, though not overly so, but it was difficult to not react so strongly when her eyes were facing the ceiling and the hand on her hip was firmly keeping her in place. When his tongue flicked out to teasingly lick the nub at the peak of her breast she couldn't stop the cry from being released. Her arms left his back in an attempt to cover herself up but King was having none of it. He released her hair, grabbing her hand and lacing their fingers. When he dipped his head to suck on the tip of her breast she didn't have the strength of will to fight him off, trembling as she allowed him to have his way.
Electricity crackled over her skin, born from the places where he touched her, the sensations making her weak. He suckled, teased, and nibbled, her legs pressing together in agitation from the strength of her arousal. When he turned to regard the other breast with the same attention she was already so far gone she could feel wetness sliding down her inner thighs.
"A-ah! Har-Harlequin...Please..."
If there was one thing she could do to get her way, it was begging. King could not stand to make her wait, not for anything, after the history they shared. So when he heard her mewl so pitifully, her words thick with want and pained impatience, he knew he would be a cruel man to keep her from satisfaction any longer.
He released her altogether and she thought she might fall over, she was so weak. He smirked, such an uncharacteristically handsome thing for the normally placid man. She was breathing hard, her breasts bouncing, and her skin was flushed with splotches of peach appearing on her cheeks and in the places where he had sucked forcefully.
Having been released she was finally able to look him over. Her half-lidded eyes glanced over his body, appreciating his lean form before sliding down and remaining glued to a particular spot. King blushed hotly as Diane made no attempt to hide her scrutiny, openly gaping when her eyes traveled downward.
Diane crawled forward, unintentionally making King's erection twitch with anticipation as she sidled closer, reaching her hand out to palm his member. It was burning and she wasted no time running her moist tongue over the head of it in retaliation for his earlier teasing. King let out a moan that made the pit of her stomach buzz as she unconsciously licked her lips.
She made as if to continue but was stopped by his hold on her shoulders. She gave him a questioning look that he returned with a beautiful smile that held so much love for her in the way it managed to make his entire face appear so much younger. She was soundly reminded of the face he had made the first time he had pledged his love to her and she felt tears prick the corners of her eyes. He smoothed his palms down her arms, past her elbows, until he held her hands in his. He pulled her up to her knees, their bodies close enough to touch just barely. He eyed her with an expression she had seen so often in the past but hadn't been able to place for so long.
What had she done to deserve him?
The big, beautiful soul of her lover was so powerful, so radiant. She couldn't keep herself from wondering how she had gotten so lucky. He was everything she dreamed of experiencing from the way he said her name to the way he held her close at night. He had given her his heart from the beginning, willing to do whatever it took to please her, unable to hide what he felt for her. She looked back on her days with the Sins as a happy time, the happiest she had been until the day she recovered all her memories and with them the bravery to confess her feelings. They had been inseparable since that day, taking full advantage of their partnership. He freely gave and gave, pleading without words for her forgiveness and continued affection which she openly offered without hesitation.
When they kissed it was with every ounce of love they each possessed for the other.
Their lovemaking wasn't the fiery passion-fueled sweaty affair from the night before. It was gentle and drawn-out. Alluring and intoxicating. Hands stroked skin lazily, eyes shut in contentment. Whispers on the wind, promises of love eternal and undying devotion.
Her body welcomed him, not a bit of resistance as he filled her to the brim. Connected in every way, flushed and panting. His movements were slow and languid, every stroke meant to be felt and savored. It was an engulfing sort of torture that brought forth all that they felt for each other in a beautiful show of passion. They were joined in the most intimate of ways, his member sliding through her dripping folds to stretch the walls of her insides. She clung to him, thankful for his strength as he leisurely set the pace.
He wanted her to remember this. On that perfect morning, bathed in the light of sun, enjoying the quiet of the world around them they lost themselves in each other, achieving a bliss that had been impossible for them before.
Their climax was nothing like the screaming, back arching experience they had found themselves in the evening prior. Diane gave a small cry, her nails digging into King's back, just below the places where his wings protruded while King through his head back in a wordless cry, his body going taut as his final thrust sheathed the entirety of him within her.
They fell against the plush bed covers, spent. King draped his arm over Diane's naked form, cuddling her close. They had come so far, had changed so much, but the one thing that had remained the same throughout was what they felt.
They were going to keep on loving each other, taking nothing for granted, and enjoying more simple mornings. Love didn't have to be complicated. Sometimes it was just the way a lover might watch the eyes of their beloved drift shut before placing a loving but chaste kiss to their lips. Sometimes it was just reflecting on how grateful they could be to have made it so far. Sometimes love was just the simple things. Regardless of what exactly defined or made up love there was only one truth that neither Diane or King would ever deny.
It was worth it.

That's it. It's done.
I started this challenge over three years ago because I was so disappointed at the lack of King and Diane fanfiction on the net. From the moment I saw King in the anime for Nanatsu no Taizai I have shipped him and Diane. At the time there was little love for them on the net and I was determined to do my part. Since then their ship has blossomed and now there are so many Kiane shippers and that makes me so happy. They have a pure love about them, a romantic history, an inspiring future, that just makes me want to do whatever I can to see them together. They represent love at it's most beautiful and I will never get enough of them. Please look forward to my future Kiane works. To everyone who took the time to read and review this mediocre tribute to a couple that makes me really believe in true love, thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You made the difference and it's because of all the kind reviews and willing followers that I was able to finish this work.
Thank you everyone. Thank you so much. I love you all. May we meet again in another Kiane fic. Be well my darlings.
