The duel was intense. The duelist put their all into the match. The gargoyles, Matt and Elisa became invested into the match, sitting on the edge of their seats. The duel was neck and neck, no way of knowing who was going to win. After a few more turns, it looks like Shane was about to win the duel.

Shane had 400 life points left as he summoned his most powerful dragon card, Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon. Akari, only had 150 life points left, had no monsters on the field. The only thing the mysterious duelist had was one card face down on the field.

"Uh-Oh Shane just summoned his Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon and with no monsters on the field. Is this the end of Akari winning streak?!"

"Oh yeah, Shane for the win!" Lex yelled with excitement.

Shane grinned, "Akari, it was a pleasure dueling you today and you're a worthy adversary. But, now it's time to end this match! Go Red-Eyes attack with Dark Fireblast and destroy the rest of their life points."

Red-Eyes roared as he used his Fireblast attack, aiming at Akari. The blast hit with such intensity, causing the arena to be covered with smoke. As the smoke began to dissipate, Shane smiled.

"YES!" His smile quickly disappeared as the smoked cleared.

"What?!" Shane was in disbelief. Akari left points didn't reach zero.

"Impossible, how…how did you wit-stand my attack."

Akari turn to grin, "Simple." The duelist pick up a Kuriboh card. "With the help of my dear friend Kuriboh. He took the blast, so my life points would be spared."

"It can't be!"

"And now it's my turn. I draw!" Akari glance at the card, "I agree with your earlier statement, Shane. You are a worth adversary and a pleasure to duel with. But like you said, it's time to end this and end it now."

"No!" Shane shouted.

"First, I summon my Banish Banshee to the field." Suddenly, the Banshee appeared in front of the duelist. "But don't get to attach to her because I sacrifice my Banshee in order to summon my dear friend, the Dark Magician Girl!" The Banish Banshee disappear as the Dark Magician Girl took its place. However, this Dark Magician Girl was different from her other counterparts. The outfit was the same but everything else was different. Gone were her fair skin, blonde hair, and green eyes. This Dark Magician Girl had tan skin, dark midnight blue hair, and deep brown eyes.

"I've never seen a Dark Magician Girl like her before. Where did Akari get it?" Angela ask.

"No one knows." Broadway answered, "Rumors has it, Maximum Pegasus himself created that card especially to Akari."

Hudson examine the monster closely, "Do any ye notice the magician looks like Elisa." Brooklyn paused the video for a second. Everyone looks at Dark Magician Girl and Elisa.

"Hudson's right." Goliath said, "There some similarities between the two."

Elisa stares at the tv, "She kinda does. Huh? Oh well. Brooklyn press play." They quickly return their attention to the match.

Shane was confused, "Your Dark Magician Girl is no match for my Red-Eyes. He still has 800 more attack points than her."

"It's true your monster has more attack points." Akari smirk under the mask, "But you forget, I still have one face down card left on the field." Shane got nervous not knowing what the face down card could be.

"Now, I reveal the spell card Dark Magician Expanded."

"What does that card do?" Shane had never heard of that card before.

"This card prevents you from activating any and all cards on your side of the field while it's my turn. Not only that but also gives my Dark Magician Girl 1000 extra attack points."

"No Way!"

"It ends now! Go, Dark Magician Girl attack with Dark Magician Explode Wave!" Dark Magician Girl charge at Red-Eyes and aim her wand at the Giant Dragon causing it to explode. Shane life point automatically reached zero.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, your winner of the PX Tournament Akari!" The crowd roar as the winner was declare. Akari and Shane walk over to the middle of the arena.

"You were amazing, Akari. No wonder you're the number one duelist here." Shane sheeply smiled, "For a second there I thought I had you." Shane extended his hand. "The better person won tonight, congratulation."

"You're an incredible duelist yourself." Akari gladly took his hand, "You almost had me. I hope to duel you again sometime." They shook hands, showing true respect for one another.

"May I have your attention please." The announcer spoke, "To present the silver and gold trophies to our duelists please give a warm welcome for the co-founders of this tournament Maximillion Pegasus and David Xanatos." A small door open underneath the arena. Slowly, Pegasus and Xanatos rose from the ground. They walk up to the two duelists.

"Congratulations you two, that was the finest dueling I've ever witness." Xanatos said as he handed the silver trophy to Shane. He shook his hand to congratulate him.

"Yes, fine dueling indeed." Pegasus added as he handed the gold trophy to Akari. He too shook the mysterious duelist hand. "Akari, as the winner of this tournament you have the honor of dueling Yugi Moto at our annual charity duel tournament."

"That's not all." Xanatos said, "Shane you will also participate at our annual charity duel tournament as well."

"Cool!" Shane was honor to participate in such an important event.

"I am honored to participate." Akari said.

"The event will be held in a few days. Here are your invitations." Pegasus handed them an envelope with their names on it.

"Let's give it up for our duelist!" The crowd cheered as the duelists wave at the audience, thanking them for coming.

The recording ended as the group, couldn't believe what they saw. Brooklyn was the first to speak, "That…. was…. awesome!"

"Yeah, you said it." Broadway said.

"Man, that was even better the second time." Matt said.

Hudson agreed with the boys, "Ay, t'is was an exciting match indeed."

"Man, The Dragon King lost." Lex spoke, feeling a bit bum about the outcome, "But that duel was too good. So, it all good."

"Don't be so bummed out about it, Lex. Everyone has to lose once in a while. Besides, losing will only help him become better duelist." Elisa said.

Lex understood, "Yeah, you're right. He may have lost this match, but it will only help him in the long one."

Elisa smiles, "Well now that the duel's over. Time for the gifts." Elisa got up and places three of the gifts in front of the trio of boys.

"Here you go, boys one for each of you."

"Thanks, Elisa." The trio said as they unwrap their present. Their curiosity turns into excitement.

"Duel Disk System!" The trio shouted in excitement. They couldn't believe what they had in front of them.

"I knew you guys would love it."

"Elisa, where did you get these?" Broadway asked.

Elisa smiles, "I brought them silly."

"Whoa, these are the newest model." Lex said. The trio got up and ran up to Elisa, engulfing her in a big hug.

"Oh, thanks Elisa!" Broadway said.

"You're the best, Elisa!" Lex said.

"You're amazing, thanks Elisa." Brooklyn said. Elisa laughs as she hugs the trio.

"Come on guys, let's go to the courtyard and test these babies out." Lex said as he and Brooklyn ran out the media room.

"Come on Angela." Broadway grab Angela's hand. She blush as he led her out to the courtyard. Bronx bark as he follow the rest of the group.

"You did a wonderful thing, Elisa. I've never seen the boys so happy before." Matt said.

"I'm glad you think that Matt, because…." Elisa grabs the last gift left behind, "This one's for you." She hands Matt his gift. Matt quickly unwraps it.

"Oh my god Elisa." Matt was in shock, it was a duel disk, just for him, "Elisa…. Thank you. But this must have cost you a fortune."

"Don't worry about it." Elisa said, "If you hurry, you can catch up with the guys and Angela."

Matt quickly gave her a hug and kiss on the cheek, "Elisa, I love you so much right now. Thanks again. Hey guys, wait up!"

Elisa blushes as Matt quickly ran after the group. Goliath was a bit thrown off by Matts' action and jealousy starts to creep in. Hudson could see the jealousy plaguing Goliath. He shook his head in amusement.

'Aye, young love.' He thought.

Elisa, stunned by Matt's action quickly shook it off. She turns to see Goliath and Hudson still in the media room, "Hudson are you going to the courtyard too?"

"No, lass." Hudson said, "I think I best go on patrol. Someone has to keep an eye on the city."

"I shall join you, Hudson." Goliath said.

Hudson shakes his head, "No, I shall go alone tonight." Hudson made his way towards the door. Besides, ye two love birds need some time alone every now and then." Hudson said, chuckling at the sight of Goliath and Elisa. Their faces were practically burgundy from embarrassment. Hudson left the two alone in the media room.

Goliath and Elisa stood in the middle of the room in silence. Glances were share but when their eyes met, they quickly look away. After a while, Goliath broke the silence.

"Elisa, you did a wonderous thing by giving the trio and Matt those gifts." Goliath smiles, looking at the eyes of his beloved, "I can't thank you enough, you have a true heart."

Elisa returns the smile, "It was nothing really."

"No, Elisa. It was everything." Goliath said, "You always bring joy to us, even when you didn't have to. All the sacrifices you've done for us, mean the world to us….to me." Goliath moves closer to Elisa, "I appreciate everything you've done. I appreciate you." Goliath brushes away a strained of hair and tucks it behind her ear. What he said was true. He was grateful for what Elisa has done over the past four year. Never once has she asked for anything in return.

Once again, Elisa blushes, "I think you're just being modest, Big Guy."

"I speak the truth." He said, "But I am curious, how you were able to obtain four devices? I hope it wasn't too much for you."

"Don't worry about it. I had plenty of money saved up for such occasion. Besides, seeing how happy they were, it was all worth it." Elisa links her arm with his.

"Come on, let's go have some fun. After all, Hudson did give you the night off."

Goliath smile and held her arm tightly with his, "Anything for you, Elisa." The two held out, deciding to glide around the city. They flew all over the city and walk around the park, seeing how quiet it was. After a few more stops, they decided to head back to the castle and catch up with the other. Watching and enjoying the guys duel each other, they played until it was for the gargoyles to go to their slumber. Hudson arrived from patrol in time for their slumber. Elisa and Matt bid them good night as they took their position just as the sun began to rise, casting them into a stone sleep.

Elisa enter her apartment and quickly change into something comfortable. She gently took off her necklace and smile before setting it down on the drawer. She yawns as she made her way to bed to get some sleep, unaware of what lays ahead in the days to come.
