"Flight 564 to Manhattan, New York is now boarding. All passengers please proceed to Terminal C"
Yugi stood in front of the terminal, waiting for his friends Joey, Tristan and Tea to arrive. Not only Yugi's and Joey's flight and hotel expenses, but they were also able to bring one guest with them. So, of course they would bring Tristan and Tea along. Tristan was excited to see his best buds duel and Tea was excited to check the schools New York had to offer.
Yugi looks around and check his watch, 'I wonder what's taking them. The flights about to leave soon.'
/Don't worry, Yugi, they'll make it on time./ Yami said, telepathically
/I sure hope so./
"Yugi!" Yugi smile hearing his friends.
"Hey, you made."
"Yeah, barely." Tea said catching her breath.
"We've would have been here earlier ifsomebodywoke up on time." Tristan glance towards Joey.
"Hey, it wasn'tmyfault." Joey said, "I had to prepare my deck for the tournament."
"And doing it at the last minute was a brilliant idea." Tristian retort.
"I wanted to make sure whoever I face will have a hard time beating me." Joey said proudly.
"Well, with a deck like yours your opponent shouldn't have too tough a time." The gang turn to see Seto Kaiba standing behind them.
"But then again, if they're dueling you it would probably be the easier duel they ever had."
Joey anger surface, "Argh! Oh, yea who asked you?!"
"Joey, calm down." Tea said.
"What are you doing here anyways, Kaiba?" Tristain asked, "I thought you weren't planning on going."
Seto huffed, "Whether I was planning to go or not, it's none of your business, dork." Tristan glared in annoyance.
"Watch it moneybags!" Joey yell, ready to punch Seto square in the face. Seto simply ignored him and turn his attention to Yugi.
"Speaking of money." Seto handed Yugi an envelope.
"What's this?" Yugi asked.
"My contribution to the charity." Seto said, "Since this tournament is for a good cause, I wanted to do my part."
"That's sweet of you, Kaiba." Tea said.
Seto grunt, "Yugi, I'm trusting you with this. Make sure you give this to David Xanatos."
Yugi smile, "Don't worry, I'll make sure I give it to him." Yugi unzipped his backpack and carefully place the envelope inside. Seto silently thanked him and left.
"Last call for flight 564. Last call for flight 564."
"We've better get going." The gang grab their belongings and heading inside the terminal, failing to notice someone else following them, not too far behind.
2 hours down, 12 more to go. The gang knew they flight would be a long one, so they did their best to entertain themselves for the long flight. They enjoyed the inflight movie and played some games. They got served dinner and decide to get some shut eye. Yugi stared out the window, gazing at the city lights below
'They look like star clusters.' Yugi thought. He yawned as the city lights began to fade as he drifted off to sleep.

A room filled with toys, a giant teddy bear sitting in the middle, and a young three-year-old Yugi snuggled against the stuff animal. Young Yugi looked up to see his beloved parents. His eyes lay first at his mother, Reika. She was very beautiful with long dark hair and a smile that could light up any room. Her skin was smooth to the touch, not a blemish in sight. But what stood out the most were her eyes. The innocent amethyst eyes she had; filled with light and love. Reika was more than just beautiful. Her intelligence was incredible, being a neurosurgeon at Domino General Hospital.
Yugi gaze towards his father, Isamu. He was protective and strong, but loved playing games, especially with his son. At times, he can be childish, but Isamu knew when it was time to play and when to get serious. He had a unique set of hair to say the least. It was star shaped with five large spikes and two smaller spikes. The color itself was black but the edges were sheen in magenta. He also had layers of long blond pointy locks for his fringe. Just like his wife Reika, Isamu worked at the hospital as a Paediatric Surgeon.
The loving parents smile at their young child, enjoying every moment.
"I see that Yugi love the gift I got him." Little Yugi turns his attention to woman standing next to his parents. He couldn't help but smile at her. Her image was blurry, but Yugi could make out some features. He could tell she had beautiful long dark hair like his mother. She also had a bright red jacket that she loved so much. But what Yugi saw clearly were her big beautiful brown eyes. They were loving yet strong.
Little Yugi giggled and snuggled closer to the giant bear.
"Don't you think, it's a bit much?" Reika said.
"Nonsense look how much Yugi loves it." The woman replied.
Isamu chuckled, "You just love spoiling him, don't you?"
The woman kneeled closely to Yugi, "Well, I hardly get to see my little cutie-pie." The woman gently pick him up and kissed his forehead. "Besides, it's my job to spoil him."
Reika chuckled, "Yugi, do you remember what you say when someone give you a gift."
Little Yugi smiled widely at the woman, "Thank you, Esa." Yugi still hadn't learn how to say her name properly yet.
The woman smiled as she snuggled and kiss Yugi's chubby cheeks, "You're welcome little guy."
"He's almost close in saying your name." Isamu said.
"Well, I'm still here for another week and I'm spending all my precious time with him. So hopefully he'll get my name, right Yugi." Yugi nodded, even though he wasn't sure what they were talking about.
Reika kneeled next to them, "I'm glad you're here. I wish you consider moving here. We miss you."
"I miss you guys, too. And as much as I want to live here, believe me I do, I still have a lot of things to do back home. New apartment, new job, there's so much to do. But maybe one day, I'll consider it. Besides," The woman held Yugi closer, "My visits give me an excuse to spoil Yugi." She tickled Yugi causing the three-year old to go into a fit of laughter.
Reika smiled at her best friend. She knew that that her friend had her own life to live and understood her reasoning.
"Speaking of spoils, I have one more gift for him."
"Why, am I not surprise." Isamu said has he kneeled next to his beloved wife.
The woman took out a small box from her jacket. "This might be a little big on him, so I think it's best for him to wear it when he gets older."
Isamu took the box and open it. The box contain a beautiful gold bracelet with a small plaque in the middle. "It's beautiful." He pass the box to Reika, so she could see it closely. As Reika look at the bracelet she notice the inscription and read it aloud.
"Follow your heart and you'll find the way. May your heart be your guiding key."
"That's a beautiful quote. Where did you get that from?" Isamu asked.
The woman blush, "My dad. When I first heard about the transfer program back in high school, I wasn't sure if I wanted to go forward with it." She pulled out a heart-shape locket from under her shirt. Reika and Isamu look closely at the locket to see the same inscription written on it, "But then my dad gave me this and told me that it will help me make me decision. And it did."
The woman held the locket tightly, "And now whenever I need guidance or I'm indecisive of something I would read this and… it gives me the courage to listen to my heart."
The young lady look at her best friends with sincerity, "I know that you'll always be there for Yugi when he needs help but…there'll be time when Yugi wants to do things on his own. I wanted him to have something that will guide him when he needs it the most."
Reika and Isamu were very touch. They've known her for a few years now and it was rare for her to open up the way she did.
"Thank you, I know Yugi will cherish this forever. We do." Reika said. Isamu couldn't agree more.
"I hope so." The woman smile as she gently play with Yugi's hair, "You know it's scary how Yugi looks exactly like you, Isamu. He-he even down to your trademark hair."
"Well, we Muto's do have great genes." Isamu was proud that Yugi came out looking like him.
"That may be true, my love." Reika said, "But Yugi has my eyes."
Isamu wrapped his arms around his beloved, "With eyes like yours he can melt anyone's heart. As you did with mine." He lean forward and kiss Reika on the cheek. The three of them enjoy each other's company as they continue to watch Yugi play. This was something they wish will never end.
