Yugi slowly opens his eyes, awakening from his slumber.

'That dream…. it's the same as before.' It was rare for Yugi to have the same dream, let alone twice. Although this time, the dream was much more clearly.

'Who was that woman? Why was she in my dreams?' Yugi slowly sat up. 'She's…...she's important to me. I know she is…. I can feel it.' Yugi sighed, 'I wish I could see her face more clearly, but…' Yugi sat in silence for a moment, until he remembers what Yami said before.

'Maybe my dreams are trying to tell me something…. they want me to remember…. her' Yugi shut his eye, clench his fits on the fabric under him. Feeling the soft fabric clenching his fit, Yugi realized.

'I'm on a bed.' He looks down and sure enough he wasn't on the plane anymore but in a room, sitting on the bed. Yugi gaze at the room, seeing colorful toys and puzzle scattered around. He felt the warmth from the room and realized….

"I'm in my soul room."

When Yugi completed the Millennium Puzzle four years ago, not only did he connect his body with the pharaoh but his soul as well. Shadi, the guardian of the tombs where the Millennium Items were once kept, told him how every person had a soul room and within their soul room contains items that reflect their personality. Which is why Yugi's soul room in filled with toys and puzzles, the soul of the innocent. But now, Yugi is in possession of the Millennium Puzzle causing his soul room to be divided into two. One that Yugi was in, and the other was the pharaoh.

Not wanting to sit around, Yugi decides to visit Yami in his soul room. He got up and made his way to the door. He steps into the small hallway and stares at the door in front of him. The door that led into the pharaoh soul room. Yugi became nervous and for good reason. He'd only been inside the soul room twice. Once with Shadi and then by himself. The first time he went in, it wasn't a pleasant experience. It wasn't Yami fault in any way. Far from it. It was the room itself that made Yugi nervous. Because the room reflected the person's personality, Yami's room was complex to say the least. Mostly because, the pharaoh had little to no memory of his past. Shaking off his nervousness Yugi walk straight to the door. He first knock on the door, not wanting to be rude.

"Hello." He stood there for a few moments before the door slowly opened by itself. Yugi made his way inside. He look around and just like before the room was filled with a labyrinth of staircases and door. The room made M.C. Escher painting Relativity look normal. It doesn't help that opening any door was a game of chance, not knowing where it will lead you.

Yugi walks around a bit, hoping to bump into the pharaoh. He walked for a while and decided to take a break by one of the staircases.

"Maybe I should go back." He said, "Even if I find him, I don't want to burden him with my problems."

"Yugi." Yugi was startled a bit when he heard a voice calling to him. He turned to see the pharaoh standing at the doorway near the stairs.

"Oh hey, pharaoh."

Yami walk up his friend, "What are you doing here? You should be resting."

Yugi became nervous, "Well…. I was…. but…"

Yami could sense how nervous Yugi was getting, "Yugi is something troubling you?"

"No…. Yes…. I mean I'm not sure." The pharaoh sat next to him, having an inkling as to what Yugi wanted to talk about.

"Did you havethatdream again?"

Yugi nodded, "It's funny, I know it's a memory and I should be grateful that I have strong memory about my parents but…." Yugi look down, confuse with what his memory is trying to tell him.

Yami sat there, as he watched his friend, trying to explain to himself what his dream meant. Yami understood what his friend was going through. He only recently learned about his ancient past. How he was once a great and powerful pharaoh and how he sacrifice himself to bring balance to the world. But Yami had no recollection of anything, not even his real name.

'If only I could recall something…. anything from my past. Even in dream form.' Yami stared at a distance. 'Yugi is very lucky. He has the ability to recollect his memories from his past. Maybe if I had my memories, I could help Yugi with his….'

Yugi could sense the emotional turmoil his friend was given out, the emotion of longing and lost. 'He must be thinking about his lost memories.'

"I'm sorry." Yugi spoke.

The pharaoh narrows his eyebrow, "For what Yugi? You didn't do anything?"

Yugi shook his head, "But I did. I'm was being selfish. Here I am talking about my memories without considering your feeling since…."

"Since…. I have no memories of my own."

"Yeah…. I'm sorry.

The pharaoh was touch by his friends' concern for him, "Yugi, there's nothing to apologize for. I may have no recollection of my past but that doesn't mean I don't have any memories of my own. I lost my old memories, but I've gain new ones with you and your friends, the good and the bad." He gently lift Yugi's head up, "I should be thanking you for giving me new memories." Yami smile kindly to his young friend, "Thank you."

Yugi return the smile, "I'm glad I could give you some memories. At least until you regain your old ones."

"And when that day comes, it will only add to the memories I have now." Yugi couldn't agree more.

"Now, about your dream, I have a feeling that there might be a connection between that and our trip to Manhattan."

"What do you mean?" Yugi ask.

"Ever since we got the invitation, your dreams have become more frequent. I suspect that answer lays in Manhattan."

"I see." Yugi gave it more thought, "Pharaoh, do you think…. the woman from my dream lives in Manhattan?"

"It's possible."

"But, how are we going to find her? Heck, she might not be living in Manhattan. And even if she did, I doubt we'll just bump into her in the street."

Yami smile, "I have a feeling that destiny will guide us to her."

Yugi chuckle, "I had a feeling you would say that."

"You never know with destiny." Yami stood up, "You should get some rest. Otherwise, you'll suffer from what was the word, jet lack."

Yugi laugh, "Yeah that's the word. Alright." He got up and look at his friend, "Thank you. I hope I wasn't too much of burden on you."

"You're never a burden, Yugi. You're my best friend, my brother. You've helped me when I needed the most. I will always help you in any way." Yami led Yugi to the door to the entrance of his soul room, so he wouldn't get lost. The bid themselves goodnight as Yugi left the soul room. When he enter his room, he let out a sigh of relief. With anew found hope Yugi climb into bed and drifted off to sleep.
