"You call that an ad for erotica?" Chandler asked, looking at the 1968 poster Don pulled out of the portfolio. The subject of the illustration was, at best, vague.
"Hey, it hadn't even been legal to publish this for very long. We were at the forefront of actually advertising it," Don protested.
"You have a point there. I hadn't really thought about that."
"I get it," Don said. "You told me your mom was rather open about what she was writing, so I guess that would be a bit uncomfortable as a kid."
Chandler nodded.
"So, maybe we go cynical?"
