If Shun could try his best and describe his life as the Saint of Andromeda in very few words, he would say that it was beyond bizarre. From the superhuman abilities he has gained once he completed his training on Andromeda Island, to fighting the legitimate reincarnations of the Gods that created the very universe mankind still had very little knowledge about, there just seemed to be no shortage of jaw dropping surprises waiting for him and his brothers in arms.

However, despite having the powers reminiscent of a god, the Saint of Andromeda still found himself baffled by the Queen's claim that he was "in the wrong time-line ".

"Your Majesties, what do you mean that I'm in the wrong time-line? This is the year 1987, right?"

"Shun," Ky took one careful step to the young man, "I know that what me and my wife are saying doesn't make sense to you, but please, believe us when we say that you're a lot further from home than you think."

"A lot further…?" Shun whispered to himself, unconsciously. There was one part of his mind that was trying to find some way to deny the statements the King was making. What he was stating sounded absolutely nonsensical… right?

"But… My life as a Saint is practically something that would most see as unbelievable. I'm basically living in a world that should only exist in works of fantasy." His head tilted down as he pondered his thoughts. "So why am I questioning what King Kiske and his wife are saying? Why am I feeling this strong sense of denial all of a sudden?"

Tilting his head up, he looked Ky square in the eyes, and without any hesitation spoke. "What makes you both think that I'm in the wrong time?" For once, the Andromeda Saint dropped his politeness and demanded for some answers.

Standing in contemplative silence, the left hand of Ky Kiske was slowly clenching into a tense fist. The scarlet red eyes of his wife immediately noticed his hand threatening to form into a fist, and so, just like any good wife should, she brought him support by wrapping her soft hands around his right arm.

She could feel the tension levitating off of his shoulders, and that gave him the confidence he needed to speak again. "Shun, can you stand? I need to show you something."

Shun slowly nodded, choosing to comply. He stood up from his bed and followed the King to the window of his room. When he pushed the curtains to the side, his eyes were assaulted by the early morning sun. He grunted softly, covering his eyes from the bright rays of the early sun, and after a few seconds, they adjusted to the lighting.

What he saw through the window was absolutely breathtaking. He was so deep in his own inner world of confusion and troubling thoughts that he didn't consider getting off his bed and looking out at the scenery that awaited him.

There was a beautiful city teeming with life and bright colors. As far as his eyes could see, the city seemed never-ending, with buildings of various shapes and sizes making up the majority of its bright and sunny surface.

There was also some bit of nature sprinkled in between the vibrant colored buildings, a few healthy green trees poked out from the gaps of the city's neighborhoods.

"Wow…" Was the breathless response of the Andromeda Saint. "This… is the most beautiful city I've ever seen!" He exclaimed in an almost childlike wonder, which made the King and Queen smile tenderly at the boy.

"I'm glad you think so. But the city itself isn't what I want you to focus on. Look up at the sky." Ky gestured his head up, his smile dropping a little. Shun was quick to comply and did as asked.

What little breath he had in his throat was gone the second his eyes locked in on the cluster of ships hovering high above the city's skyline.

"Are those… actual airships I'm seeing right now?" The emerald-haired young man asked, turning to the royal couple while one of his delicate fingers pointed to the sky.

"Yes." Dizzy nodded, her hands clasped by her long skirt. "I don't mean to sound arrogant, but I imagine that your home hasn't created their own airships, correct?"

At that, he shook his head, his mane of hair flowing gently by his movements.

Looking back, he leaned closer to the window so he could admire the fleet of ships flying calmly in the air. He quickly noticed how some of the hovering ships had vastly different designs compared to the rest of the fleet.

The farthest ship to the left had a wide, flat surface that looked like the warships the military of the United States would produce. It was a mighty ship forged from darkened steel, practically dwarfing the other ships with its imposing size. There was no doubt that the mighty ship was carrying some pretty intense firepower. For why, Shun could only guess.

Glancing over to his right, the Andromeda Saint saw a traditional Chinese style ship slowly approaching. The hull of the finely crafted vessel was made out of dark brown wood while the bottom and upper rim were decorated in a blazing red wood, easily becoming one of the main attention grabbers in the clear blue sky.

There just seemed to be an endless variety of intriguing designs for all of the flying ships that were present, and the Saint of Andromeda knew that he was only seeing a glimpse of what these extraordinary machines could do. But, as much as he wanted to admire these machines, that did not take away the harsh fact that Ky was right: he was a lot farther from home than he initially thought.

"So I am far…" Was the ultimate conclusion that Shun's mouth could muster. He walked back from the window while one of his hands cradled his head. "I'm sorry… it's just-"

"You don't need to apologize for feeling doubtful, Shun." The benevolent Queen interrupted, her voice soft and kind. "We would feel the exact same if we were in your shoes." Her husband nodded along.

"Right…" Even though Ky and Dizzy were expressing complete and genuine sympathy, he needed a moment to digest everything he had just seen.

"I'm sorry, but do you two mind stepping out for a bit? I need a moment to myself."

Both the king and queen did not hesitate to comply with the young man's wishes. "Of course." Dizzy gave a slight bow. "Just tell us if there is anything we can do to help you, Shun." Ky added, bowing alongside his wife.

A few more words were exchanged before the royal couple left the room to give the Andromeda Saint some much needed space.

After seeing the door close, he walked up to the window again and looked up to gaze at the fleet of airships calmly hovering above the city. But, while his eyes were staring at the impressive machines, that wasn't what he was focusing on at the current moment.

There was a storm of questions that swarmed his entire mind. Even though his face looked absolutely neutral, inside, his mind was struggling to focus on one question after the next.

Why was he sent here? How much time has passed while he was in a coma? Could it have been a couple of years? Decades? Maybe even centuries? How in the world was he going to return back to his own time?

The Saint of Andromeda immediately snapped out of his inner musing with a harsh whip of his head. He stepped back from the window and began taking a few deep breaths. In and out his chest went, expanding and falling as he did his best to bring his muddled mind to ease.

He was letting the situation get the better of his emotions and rational thinking. His growing frustrations were unbecoming of a true Saint of Athena. Even while he was still a child, he had been taught to keep himself calm, no matter how grave the situation appeared to be.

For now, he had to focus on the royal couple waiting patiently outside his door. For all he knew, those two were his best chance of making his already complicated life a little bit more easier.

He may have only met them for a few minutes, but he could confidently say that Ky and Dizzy were down to earth, genuinely good people. They weren't demanding with his responses, unlike some authoritative figures he has met. Instead, they were patient, sitting and listening to try and understand what he was going through. In the eyes of the Andromeda Saint, their patience and empathy seemed reminiscent of a parent listening to the struggles of their child. Or so his optimistic nature thought.

Taking another deep and long breath, Shun had his emotions and thoughts in check, and he felt prepared to have another talk with the King and Queen of Illyria.

Outside the door, Ky and Dizzy talked amongst each other.

"I wish we could have given the news better to him, Ky." The benevolent Queen said to her beloved King, her eyes appearing more despondent.

"I know how you feel, Dizzy." Her husband agreed in a soft-spoken voice, intertwining his hand around hers. "But what other choice did we have? Sooner or later, Shun would have noticed that his home is no longer…" The King of Illyria didn't finish his thought, but his wife had a clear understanding of what he was implying, and it hurt her soul.

"That's what I'm most afraid of, Ky. How will he see me when he learns the truth?" A ugly knot formed in her stomach, threatening to eat her from the inside out.

She could feel her husband's hand tenderly run across the skin of her palm, an attempt to bring comfort to his wife's soul. "We'll cross that bridge when the time comes," he pressed his lips against her forehead, leaving behind a tender kiss, "But right now, we should be doing everything we can to help Shun. Alright?"

"Okay." She leaned up to her husband and planted a tender kiss of her own on the left side of his cheek. "And thank you, Ky." She said as her smile returned.

"Don't mention it." Her husband smiled back at her.

They both turned back to the sound of Shun's door opening. The royal met his emerald green eyes peeking through the small gap. "Sorry. I hope I haven't kept you two waiting for too long."

The couple shook their heads. "Don't worry, you haven't kept us for long." The King assured him with a smile.

Opening the door further for them, Ky and Dizzy went into the room, taking a seat at the chairs sitting in front of the hospital bed. The Andromeda Saint closed the door once they were in and quickly followed suit, taking his seat at the plush mattress.

"How are you feeling now, Shun?" The Queen started, looking at him with a tender yet concerned expression.

"I'm feeling a little bit better, thanks." He looked down at the floor, sighing softly. "It's just… I'm still having a hard time believing that I'm practically living in an entirely different era."

"That feeling is completely understandable, Shun." Ky sympathized with the young man. "But if we can help you, then please, do not hesitate to tell us."

The young man straightened his head, mulling over the King's words. There were a lot of things he needed to know ever since he woke up, but there was one question that was pestering him the most.

"How exactly did I get here? First, I asked the nurse who was taking care of me, and she said that your wife found me. Is that true?"

Ky nodded casually, anticipating the question. "Yes, she did. Although, how it occurred was odd."

"How so?" The Andromeda Saint asked with a slight tilt of his head.

"Well… this is going to sound ridiculous, but she found you while she was outside in our garden."

"Outside in your…?" The Andromeda Saint trailed off before it clicked. "Wait! So what you're telling me is that I was found in your home!?"

Dizzy chose to answer for her husband. "Believe me, Shun, me and my husband are just as surprised as you."

Recovering from his surprise, Shun carried on the discussion. "Okay, but did you see how I landed in your garden or…" He was met with a negative head shake from the Queen.

"I'm sorry, but I haven't." Her response earned her a dejected look from the young man. "Although, when I found you, you had this bright pink armor on you. I also saw these long chains wrapped around your arms."

The mentioning of his Cloth and his chains of Andromeda immediately erased the dejected look from Shun's face. "My Cloth?" He whispered to himself. "It's here, Your Majesty?"

Ky nodded, answering for his wife. "Yes, it is currently being kept at Police Headquarters. After my wife removed all of the pieces from you, we left it under their care." The 1st King of Illyria focused his calm blue eyes at the Andromeda Saint. "While we want to know why you were wearing armor in the first place, that is a discussion that will have to wait for another time." His lips curved into a gentle smile. "For now, we want to help you where we can, Shun." His wife hummed in agreement.

The eyes of the Andromeda Saint widened, genuinely surprised to see such genuine sympathy to come from a king. "T-That is very kind of you, Your Majesty. Thank you for your consideration, and for keeping my armor safe." He thanked the royal couple with a slight stutter to his voice, although the surprise he was feeling didn't stop the grateful expression that spread across his face.

"Don't mention it, Shun." Ky waved off the boy's gratitude with his gentle smile. "Now, if it isn't too much trouble for you, could you tell us what happened to you before you landed in our home?"

"Oh, no, it's no problem at all, Your Majesty." He then turned his head to look at the ceiling, his chest rising and falling as he sighed. "But you'll have to be patient for this, because it is a long story."

Dizzy smiled at the young man while she interlocked one of her soft and dainty hands around her husband's. Her beloved responded in kind. "I don't think we should be worried about time, Shun. We have plenty of time to spare with you."

"She is right, Shun. So please, you can go ahead and start from the beginning." With that, the King and Queen silently gestured for the Andromeda Saint to begin.

Smiling appreciatively, he pulled up his legs, crossing one over the other. "Okay… so you two remember the armor I was wearing when you first found me?" The couple nodded. "That armor is what I like to call my Cloth. Not only is it my armor, it is a representation of who I am… and what I was trained for ever since I was a little boy." He added that last sentence after a short pause.

Ky and Dizzy noticed the slight shift in his attitude, but decided to not comment on it. "You were trained to wear that armor since you were a child? Why?" Ky was the first to ask.

Without any hesitation, Shun answered. "I was trained to be a warrior who protects the innocent and weak. To rise and fight for truth and justice."

"Really?" Ky inquired with a raised brow, his tone curious. "So what exactly are you? A knight in shining armor?" The lips of the 1st King tugged slightly.

At that, Shun chuckled, going along with Ky's humor. "You could say that."

"But what exactly caused you to be brought here to Illyria?" Both Ky and Dizzy were internally itching to know how it was possible for a young man like Shun to travel across time and space before he was eventually stranded in their time-line.

"That is where things get… weird." The word weird was foreign for Shun to use, but it was the best description he could use.

"Really? How weird are we talking?" Ky was the one to ask. And so, the young Saint of Athena told everything that would (hopefully) erase that itch the King and Queen had in their minds.

Little did he know, during his retelling of his journey, him mentioning the Man With The Evil Grin would raise alarms, not just within Illyria's borders, but for all of the leaders from every nation across the globe.

And that meant that more excitement and drama would be brewing in the atmosphere… oh, things are gonna get good.
