The Fright of Bonds
As Danny, Tucker, and Sam leave the movie theater, Danny worries that his sister might be nearby until his friends give him the all clear. Danny's been trying to avoid his sister who, upon becoming a member of their team, has constantly been overprotective of him ever since she found out his secret. Especially since he been having nightmares of the atrocities Dan committed.
Danny been doing better since ghostwriter help him cope during Christmas. Even if Danny accidentally destroys the poem, that he was working for a long time.
(Flashback)
Snow falls in Amity Park as Christmas approaches. Everyone is Christmas-shopping at Amity Park Mall, including the trio of friends. While Sam is in a chipper mood, Danny is annoyed. Not sleeping well constant nightmares, guilt coursing thru his entire being.
When she calls him out on his scrooge-like attitude, Tucker tells her about the fight: Every Christmas, Maddie and Jack argue over the existence of Santa Claus, wreaking all sorts of havoc in Danny's life. Even as they're talking, they hear Maddie telling nearby children visiting the mall that Santa does not exist while Jack states otherwise. They do this in order to keep some form of normality since they nearly died to Dan. Jack using crutches and a prosthetic leg.
Frustrated, Danny flies to the Ghost Zone, destroying floating rocks to reduce stress. Trying to alleviate his guilt just with mindless destruction. Unfortunately or fortunately on of his shots goes wild and hits ghostwriter's poem. But Danny doesn't feel too bad due to his hatred of the holiday and Dan influence.
Enraged at his behavior, the Ghost Writer writes a new book, The Fright Before Christmas 2, starring Danny, and blasts him back to Amity Park where he's now stuck in a rhyming induced Christmas story where anything Ghost Writer writes comes true until Danny's lesson is learned.
Wanting to know why Danny hates Christmas so much, Ghostwriter question is answered when Tucker relates the story to Sam that every single Christmas, Danny's parents' argument over the existence of Santa usually ends with Danny getting the short end of the stick, leading to traumatic childhood memories. Also mentioning the whole Dan fiasco weighing heavily on Danny's conscience.
The Ghost Writer then makes every member of Danny's family rhyme all their feelings towards Danny. Danny enters the Ghost Zone to confront the Ghost Writer at his home afterwards, but he types it so that Danny ends up in another place, one holding his ghostly foes and allies.
However, instead of a battle, the ghosts hold an annual truce according to which they do not fight on Christmas, instead befriending each other for the day.
Danny sadly recites the story of he went thru with Dan. He sits down, ashamed and in sorrow - when his friends and family come to comfort him. His parent now knowing of his persona and entering the ghost zone. There, he expresses his guilt over everything that has happened. Wanting to make things right, Danny friends and family, as well as his ghostly foes, encourage him calming his guilt of what happened that day. While still rhyming.
Sam, Tucker, and Jazz are then confused by Danny who realizes they are no longer talking in rhyme. Danny learns his lesson: "Everyone celebrates life in the way of their choosing no matter what fate brings".
Danny bids the ghosts a fond farewell apologizing to ghostwriter afterwards and leaves for his own house where he apologizes for acting in spite, seeing the family celebrates Christmas their own way.

Danny P.O.V
"I can't believe we sat through all three cyber zombie commando movies." Sam comments
"I could've used s little less zombie, and a little more cyber. But that's me, I'm all about the cyber." Tucker replies
[Sam and Tucker looked across the street in search of Jazz.]
"Coast is clear, Danny!" Sam exclaims
"Sweet! (Becomes visible) No sign of Jazz?"
"No sign of Jazz." Sam reassures Danny.
"Good, ever since Jazz found out I was fighting ghosts, she's been kind of-[Cut to Jazz immediately drives up in a pink sedan and parks in front of the movie theater. She tackles Danny against the wall of the movie theater.]:-pushy."
"Danny, are you okay?! (Danny, still in Jazz's grasp. She shoves a Fenton Thermos onto his stomach) You know you should never leave the house without the Fenton Thermos. (Whispers) What if there's a ghost around?"
"There's no ghost around. If there was my ghost sense would go off" (His ghost sense goes off.).
"Like that?"
[Jazz and Danny look up in the sky to see Skulker flying through the air. Skulker notices Danny and the others.]
"Skulker?! He's hunting you again?!" Tucker asks
"Again?! As in more than once?!" Jazz exclaims in worry.
"Jazz, take it easy. There's a rhythm to these things. Ghost attacks (makes hand gestures), we exchange witty banter, I kick ghost butt, and we all go home having learned a valuable lesson about honest...or something such nonsense."
(Jazz takes a pencil from her hair, a notebook from her back pocket and writes down information.) "Attack. Banter. Kick butt. Lesson. Got it. So, why's he not attacking?"
(opens eyes in shock) "What! (sees Skulker flying away from him) No attack! He's ignoring me?!"
Axion Labs, after-hours Skulker flying toward it. Skulker phases into a laboratory and floats. He coasts through the metal doors intangibly. Going tangible again, he raises his binoculars, and sees red target-sighting screen focuses in on the lockers in a X-Ray version. Zoom in on the Bloodstream Nanobots jar. Skulker lowering his binoculars, smiling evilly. He flies over and turns his hand intangible places it on his locker. holding the Bloodstream Nanobots jar. 'Danny pops into the scene. Skulker being startle and almost drops the jar. 'We see Danny Phantom, arms crossed, floating behind him.
"Bloodstream Nanobots? What are Bloodstream Nanobots? (Skulker turns around shoots out a net towards Danny, who is captured in it.)Hey! (He is trying to break free and sees Skulker floating right pass him and phases through a metal door.) Get back here! (charges up his hands with ecto-energy and bursts from the net with a cry.) You didn't even call me Welp!" (begins to charge at Skulker).
Sam, Tucker, and Jazz in Jazz's car driving down the road. Tucker and Sam are in the back of it. Up front, Jazz is driving.
SAM P.O.V
With the wind blowing on Sam hair.
"Jazz, did it ever occur to you that Danny has been doing just fine (gets a serious look on her face) without your help?"
"Exactly! So imagine how much better he'll do with it." Jazz cluelessly replies.
Jazz's car pulling up to Axion Labs.
Top exterior of Axion Labs. Skulker and Danny phase through the ceiling. Danny flies after Skulker across the night sky.
Jazz exits her car and runs up, with the Fenton thermos.
"You just earned a one-way trip to thermos land ( Jazz holds the thermos out and it blasts out a beam of energy, but starts to lose control), ghost!" (push back to the ground.)
The beam missed Skulker. The beam hits Danny as it engulfs him.
Tucker and Sam gasping.
Danny, as he is pulled into the thermos. Jazz, holding the thermos and looking at it, unsatisfied with the capture. The thermos smolders blue. Jazz looks at Tucker and Sam.
Tucker and Sam faces went from surprised to scornful.
"Think I should work on my banter?"
"Jazz you should Start with your aim." Tucker informs her.
Next day Danny's P.O.V
Danny is wearing his backpack and walking down the hallway with Tucker and Sam, while Tucker is smiling. Tucker laughs.
"It's not funny, Tucker!" Danny says in anger.
"Come on. Six hours cram inside the Fenton Thermos. It's totally funny." Tucker replies.
Dash going through his locker.
"Yeah?!" Danny says.
Dash holding his books. Danny's arm pokes in, knocking Dash's books with his hands so Dash will get mad. Dash turns around and gets angry at Danny.
"He did it" (points at Tucker).
Dash grabs Tucker by the collar, yanks him, stuffs him into a locker, closes it, and walks away. Danny and Sam walk with Danny leaning on Dash's locker.
[In the locker, sound metallically muffled.] "Oh, c'mon!"
"Is it funny now?"
Sam's hand comes in, dialing the combination.
"I know you're annoyed Danny, ( Sam leans her head on Dash's locker and hears a sound) maybe that's the kind of mistake that'll get Jazz to stop interfering."
Dash's locker opens, revealing Tucker. Jazz walks in and closes Dash's locker. Jazz is holding a laptop in front of her with her left arm, looking happy.
[Tucker In the locker.] "Darn it!"
"Guess what I found out."
Danny and Sam, looking uninterested.
(Jazz pulls up her laptop) "I've done pain-staking research on last night's mystery ghost."
Jazz's laptop. Depicted on the left-hand side is a 75% blue and 25% red pie chart on the top. Below it is a bar chart. A horizontal bar graph in the top middle. A vertical DNA strand on the right-hand side. The caption in the top right reads, "Ghost Files."
"Uh, you mean Skulker?"
"Let's just call him Ghost X. And based on my research, I characterize him as a hunter of some sort."
Sam dialing Dash's locker lock.
"Oh! She's good. We didn't figure that out until he screamed (opens Dash's locker) "I Am The Ghost Zone's Greatest Hunter." (Tucker falls to the floor). Sam say's in a mocking voice.
"Here's my composite sketch of Ghost X." (Jazz pulls a folder from her backpack that reads, "TOP SECRET." and gives it to Danny.)
Danny picking up the folder and opens it. An image of drawn Skulker appears in a paper in Jazz's folder.
Danny looking unimpressed. Sam looking like she doesn't care. Tucker get up from the floor stretching out his back.
"And I took the liberty of crafting, I must say, some funny witty banter for your next encounter with him. Bye." Jazz leaves in a upbeat mood.
[Sam taking the folder and reading] "See ya later, X. X marks the spot. You've been X'd. [Stop reading] None of these are funny."
"And nothing's funnier than sucking you inside the thermos. You can't beat broad physical comedy like that with a one liner." Tucker trying to be funny.
Danny, looking annoyed. Looked over at Kwan and Star. Kwan holding his books. Danny's arm pokes in, knocking Kwan's books with his hands so Kwan will get mad. He turns around and gets angry at Danny. Danny points at Tucker again. Kwan grabs Tucker by his backpack, stuffs him into a locker, closes it, and walks away.
"But if Jazz think I'm letting her help, maybe she stop interfering as much. Worth a shot?"
"Worth a shot." Sam agrees.
Danny and Sam walk away.
[Tucker In the locker.] "Nobody's coming to get me, are they?"
Mr. Meat butcher shop, after-hours. The Lunch Lady Ghost. "Feast on my (raises her hands and wieners into the air behind her) hotlings of doom!"
The whole shop. Columns of meat counters. The lights are on. Danny and friends are seen from the back, Danny floating in a fighting stance. Lunch Lady is floating in the air, looking furious in her attack stance.
"Okay, Jazz. Now!"
Jazz sliding from the right holding up a short metal rod. Jazz accidently snags Danny with the Jack-o'-Nine and slams him into the Lunch Lady Ghost, where they vanish.
"Wait, witty banter. (jazz Takes out her notepad) Take that LUNCH-A-BELLE! And your evil wieners too!"(Jazz Smiles)
Danny slams into a wall and falls into a vat of hot chitterlings. Jazz smiling. Sam and Tucker, looking shocked. Danny raising his head out of the vat, scornful.
Floody Water's sign frozen in an ice block with white sparkles. A red mountain with a face and a frozen waterslide. the rest of the waterpark. The sunshine on the waterpark. right across the waterpark to Danny, Jazz, Sam, and Tucker are battling with Klemper, throwing ice blocks at them. "Won't anybody be my friend?!"
Jazz brings out a bat. She runs and hits the ice blocks with it. Danny flies by her.
"You're going up against him with the Anti-Creep Stick?"
"I know what I'm doing Danny. Give me your worst, Friendly Fiend. You haven't got the guts. Uh, guts?"
"Uh, yeah, see. The guts joke would have been better in the last flight."
Klemper takes a breath and opens his mouth to shoot out blue mist. The mist forms into a cloud on the ground and spreads into ice. Jazz slips on the ground and spins out of control. The bat hits Danny and he falls off with such force. Danny falling back lands on his back on the frozen waterslide of a ride so hard he cracks it. Giant ice cubes fall off.
Klemper flies away.
Jazz turns around. "I'm helping"(looks, confused).
In a pile of fallen giant Ice cubes. Danny, Tucker, and Sam. They rise in the middle of the destroyed ice cubes, bruised. They look scornful.
Jazz, smiles.
A row of warehouses and other buildings along a dock. Inside one of the buildings, a pile of glowing boxes are covering Sam and Tucker. Danny linking his hands with Box Ghost in an attempt to wrestle him down. Their hands shake with effort. Box Ghost, who is still clasped in his fingers to push him down, is looking increasingly unsure. Danny pushes his arms forward, with Box Ghost barely able to defend as he becomes more worried. Jazz kick down the door carrying a Fenton Thermos. An shouts. "Freeze!"
"Once again, right idea, but wrong fight."
"I got him! I got the Crate Creep!"
Danny and Box Ghost flying in the air.
"Crate Creep? I am the Box Ghost! [Danny covers his face with his hand in embarrassment.] Who are you! No seriously, who is she? "
Jazz jumps on a stack of boxes, losing her balance. Jazz accidently activates the Fenton Thermos, and the beam hits Danny, looking unsurprised, and sucks him in the thermos. The thermos smolders blue.
"Woops...Don't worry, Danny...We'll get you out of there...Eventually!"
Danny and Jazz in Jazz's car driving down the road. Danny in the passenger's seat. In the driver's seat, Jazz is driving. "That was a good night's work, Danny. We caught three ghosts."
"No, actually, you caught one ghost. Three times. All of them me!"
Jazz's car pulling up to their house next to the RV.
"Look, Jazz. I know your trying to help."
"Trying?" she asks.
"And please don't be offended but—"(A hand suddenly grab him by his shirt and pulls him up out of the car.)
"Danny, check this out!" Jack says.
Maddie working on the Fenton Family Ghost Assault Vehicle. Attaching a device in the RV that reads "Ecto-Converter."
"Your mother and I have souped up the RV with an ecto-converter."
"Ecto-Converter?" Danny asks in a confuse voice.
"It converts a ghost's natural ecto-energy into a constant replenishing fuel source." Maddie clarifies.
"Does it hurt the ghost?" Jazz ask in worry.
(Maddie laughs) "Oh, Jazz! You know your father and I don't care about that."( Just because they know Danny's secret wont change the way they do thing. They be more gun-ho about it.)
"Yeah! If we hear it scream, then we know it's working." Jack agreeing with his wife. Jack (Jack having one prosthetic leg) and Maddie climb up a ladder to the top of the RV and drills a sign that reads "PARABOLIC REFLECTOR."
"Too bad there's no ghost around, Only Danny" (Jazz playfully slaps Danny in the back.)
(sighing, annoyed) "I get it can we let it die now?"
"Good one son" Jack thinking was a joke. Since he knows Danny being part ghost.
Jazz hums a bit and playfully slaps Danny in the back again, causing him to accidentally touch the Ecto-Converter, causing it to glow and make the RV move, then the Fenton Ghost Assault Vehicle runs their fence, with their parents screaming.
Danny and Jazz, surprised.
(Jazz points her finger at Danny) "You really need to work on controlling your powers."
Danny gets angry his eyes briefly glowing red.
3rd P.O.V
Danny is in bed sleeping. Skulker phases through to ceiling, and he turn visible. He floats pass Danny. Skulker's shadow looming pass a sleeping Danny. Danny's ghost sense goes off. Skulker phases through to floor to the Fenton's lab.
Cut's open a box with some lab equipment. He carried a box and some lab equipment fell down. He opens a drawer to see more lab equipment. He looks at a rack of test tubes and beakers. Skulker does a punch-sweep at the beakers, smashing them.
"And here I thought you weren't hunting me anymore."
Danny is seen floating in front him, his legs bent and clenched fists.
"Where is the ecto-converter?" Skulker demands.
"See, that's more like it. You make demands, I ignore them."
Skulker grabs Danny Phantom by the shirt. "Talk! Where is it?!"
[Danny Puts his finger on his chin.] "Ecto-converter? Ecto-converter, hm, lemme think- oh, I know, In my hand." [He lifts one hand]
He lets it blaze with green energy and fires an ectoplasmic blast at Skulker, sending him into the distance. Skulker turns around and immediately knocks him through the ceiling.
Jazz is lying in her table, thrashing in her sleep having a nightmare of that day. On Jazz's computer. poorly designed pictures with nickname looking upon a room full of Danny's foes, from top to bottom is GHOST-X, then CRATE CREEP, next LUNCH-A-BELLE, and last FRIENDLY. Thiers also a locked folder that says DAN.
In Jazz's room. Danny phases out behind her, linking his hands with Skulker in an attempt to wrestle him down.
[Jazz sits up as she wakes up screaming] "Danny?"
Outside up in the air, Danny and Skulker, still linking hands, phase through the op center and, resuming their struggle. Skulker and Danny come to a stop and float. Skulker lunges for him, but he dodges, going around behind him.
"What do you want with the Ecto-Converter anyway? Or those nanobots you stole from Axion Labs?"
Skulker shoots out a bolo towards Danny's ankle, who is attached to the op center's satellite tower. "I ask the questions. And since you won't talk, I'll just have to [his gauntlet sprouts five more barrels around itself] beat the answer out of you. Where is it?!"
Skulker readies his ectoplasmic blast. Suddenly, an ecto-blast knocks Skulker to the ground. Once again, Jazz joins in the battle and accidentally reveals the location of the Ecto-Converter. Skulker takes what he came for and flies off.
By school the next day, Jazz finds the three hiding in a broom closet in school (to avoid her, despite Danny vehemently denying it) where she managed to hack into his files where he keeps a profile on all the ghosts, including Vlad Plasmius.
As Sam and Tucker crawl out of the broom closet, Danny, angry at her for barging into his ghost hunting life, bluntly tells her she is terrible at it, causing her to get teary and run off in front of a mob of students. At home, Danny is told by his parents Jazz is missing.
Indeed, she ends up in Vlad's manor where she begs the millionaire to let her stay in his home, to which he obliges only because she said about Jack is an idiot in the middle. Jazz calls her parents and lets them know she wishes to stay with Vlad for a while, which Maddie isn't too keen on.
Danny in the meantime leaves for the Ghost Zone, assuming she's out there to fight Skulker to prove him wrong (while the parents play checkers(wink, wink), now that they are in an empty house). Danny catches Skulker stealing Technus' electric staff. After a short battle, Skulker shocks Danny with the staff and then traps him inside a transparent containment cube.
Jazz, in the meantime, sees Vlad going into his secret lab, so she quickly jumps onto his computer to find info on the Nanobots and Ecto-Converter (which is possibly what she intended to do the whole time). Vlad, however, returns from his lab, and upon him inspecting Jazz suspiciously, she grabs a random book (which was Vlad's college yearbook) and pretends to read it.
She later sneaks into the lab where she finds the stolen items as well as the Fenton Ecto-skeleton Vlad stole earlier. She is quickly caught by Vlad but lies her way out and convinces Vlad to let her off the hook (or so it seems...).
Skulker enters immediately afterwards, presenting the electric staff and Danny, still in the containment cube, to Vlad. Realizing that Jazz knows Danny's secret, and Danny knows she knows, Vlad decides to test Jazz's loyalty. On Vlad's backyard football field, Jazz is put inside the (improved by Vlad) Ecto-Skeleton suit, altered so that it won't drain her life like the previous model.
She must battle Danny for Vlad's loyalty, something she doesn't want to do until Danny insults her. Danny tries to get her to listen to him, but she refuses, annoying him further. The two then try to escape until they run into a shield that works on both humans and ghosts, blocking their way out.
Danny suggests they pretend to battle each other, but she senselessly beats him with seemingly no remorse, the first punch she made was for humiliated in front of the entire school, Danny apologized before saying he deserved it before she continues to run and punch him at the same time again.
Danny, angry,(his hair turning into flames eyes going red) manages to outdo Jazz and shouts at her, telling her to listen to him for once in her life. Jazz going pale seeing Danny transforming. In a serge of power Danny teleports to were Vlad is grabbing and destroying the remote that was using to control Jazz thru the nano he injected in her.
Vlad transform into Plasmius but was to no avail. Danny being in this state was to powerful. He beat Plasmius to a bloody pulp. Vlad not knowing of the incident of Dan. Danny still beating on Plasmius, Jazz removed the ecto-skeleton runs up to Danny hugging him from behind, crying asking him to stop. Danny stops and looks at Jazz (Vlad takes this opportunity to run away not knowing what has transpired) and then at the ecto-skeleton raises a hand and fires an ecto-blast vaporizing it. Danny pass out and then waking up in his room the next day.
Last thing he remembered hearing was: "I'm still here." I still exist. That means "you" still turn into "me. I'm inevitable."
