A school assembly takes place where a beautiful woman named Dora Mattingly (sporting a light blue dress and an oversized ring) hosts the "Miss Teenage Happy Princess Beauty Pageant," which disgusts Sam.
At the Casper High auditorium. Sam and Tucker are seen sitting. As Dora Mattingly walking up to the center of the stage.
"Girls, do you dream of being a princess?"
The female students stand up and cheering "Yeah!", arms and fists in the air.
(Sam Leaning on her elbow, bored) No.
Dora on stage "Of wearing beautiful gowns and jewelry?" (Shows off giant sparkling ring.)
Sam with a snarky reply "No."
"Of charming and beguiling that special prince?" (Dora bats her eyelashes, hands clasped together.)
"...and gag." (Sam points a finger to her mouth.)
"I'm Dora Mattingly, and I want to make sure that dream comes true for one of you sweet young ladies."
Dora walks over to a large rope hanging off the right side of the stage and pulls it. A large poster comes down, text: 'Miss Teenage Happy Princess Beauty Pageant'. The crowd of students crowd cheer and clap.
"That's why I'm bringing my 'Miss Teenage Happy Princess Beauty Pageant' right here to your school." Dora say with an over cheerfully deminer.
(Sam left hand on her cheek) "I hate this more than I hate the morning sun."
"What's wrong with beauty pageants?" Tucker ask her with drool coming of his mouth.
"Other than the fact they turn girls into shallow doormats and boys into drooling idiots? (Sam looks at Tucker drooling mouth.) Everything!"
"But it's got a swimsuit competition!" Tucker starts fantasizing and drooling even more.
(Dora hand up to her head, looking around at the crowd Dora needs to pick out an "average" boy to judge the pageant.) "I need a worthy and chivalrous knight to select our princess!"
The boys all stand and begin shouting while waving their arms up to get Dora's attention. 'Oh, me! I want to do it' and 'pick me! Could be heard all over the auditorium.
(Tucker Putting his arms down) "Oh, man! Danny would love this. Where is he anyway?" (He puts his hands on his hips, turning to Sam. Noticing Sam giving him the stink eye.)
Danny P.O.V
Elsewhere, Danny busies himself with a battle with a medieval Axe Ghost Executioner, Ghostecutioner, the Headsman. The ghost roars and swings his axe at Danny. He dodges it a bunch of times.
"Hey! if you needed something, you should just axe. Get it? (Danny chuckles) Axe?"
The headsman pulls out a glowing green lasso and throws it at Danny with a grunt, tying Danny's feet together.
Danny Yikes! At being pooled by the ghost.
The headsman drags him towards the school below, turning them both invisible. Dora continuing her presentation to the students.
"Our princess must appeal to the masses, so she shall be chosen by a common boy-Someone average and bland." Dora walks at the edge of the stage, passing several male students.
(Dash looks up at her smiling.) "Too popular." (Dash frowns as Dora passes Kwan next.) "Too athletic." (She passes Mikey next) "Too nerdy." (She approaches Tucker.) "Too—" (gets cut off by Tucker)
"Handsome? Smart? Intelligent?" ( Tucker being delusional.)
"-Annoying." (Dora walks off.)
The Headsman flying in through the ceiling of the room with Danny still attached by the lasso. He transforms as The Headsman flies towards the stage.
(Dora Pointing out students in the crowd.) "Normal, Dull—"
Danny screams as he hits the floor of the stage where Danny quickly turns human, the Headsman continuing on his way through the stage remaining unseen.
(Dora immediately spots him Dora throws hands up in the air) "You!" (gestures towards him) "You're perfect!" (and makes him the judge for the pageant)
Dora walks towards a confused Danny and puts a hand on his shoulder.
In the ghost zone a ghost is looking out of a crystal ball, showing the current events unfolding.
"Perfect indeed..." Prince Aragon a ruler in his part of the ghost zone.
The prince's necklace begins to glow and the wall of his castle where his shadow morphs into that of a dragon.
"A perfect... PAWN! HA HA HA HA!" The dragons laughs. All while a dark prince watches from his crystal ball.
At Casper high, the bell rings. Danny and Tucker are walking through the halls.
Various female student (Sweetly while waving) "Hi, Danny." As a result of his new status as pageant judge, all the girls in Casper High suck up to Danny.
Paulina approaches with her entourage "I baked some cookies for you!" Paulina batting her eyes at him.
Star did the same. "I did your math homework!"
Danny (Chuckles) "Now, ladies... you can't influence the judge with cookies and-whoa!"
Danny looks over at the stack of papers in Star's hand.
"Is this homework done all the way through next semester?" Danny ask her.
(Star nodding and smiling) "Mhmm!"
(Danny smiles) "This pleases me."
Something Dash is not too pleased with but Tucker is, seeing as he can date any girls he desires as he is the judge's best friend. Dash walks over to Danny. He grabs him by the shirt and pulls him up in the air.
"Hey Fentoid! It's only been two hours and I'm already tired of you hogging all the hotties!"
Danny snaps his fingers and Paulina kicks Dash in the shin. He drops Danny from his grip.
"OW!" (Dash grabs his leg and jumps up and down) "ARGGH!"
Star and the other girls exchange looks with Dash.
"GET HIM!" Star says to the other girls.
They all chase Dash as he screams while running away. Danny watches on with a smile.
(Tucker holding the straps of his backpack) "It's like a dream! Every girl totally wants to date us."
(Danny amused) "Us?"
(Tucker hands up in front of him) "Hey, as the judge's best pal, and that judge already having a girlfriend, I'm entitled to a little spillover." (pulls out PDA) "Want to go out, uh..."(scrolls through a bunch of names with pictures) "Ashley?"
(Ashley annoyed with hands on her hips.) "Yeah, right!"
(Tucker using a persuasive tone) "Judge's best friend."
Ashley puts her hands on Tucker's shoulder, leaning closer to him with a smile.
"Pick me up at 7:00?"
"7:00." Tucker repeats the time amazed that it actually work.
Ashley walks away and Danny smiles as she leaves, Tucker smugly making his point.
"That means I should be free around 9:00 for..." (Tucker checks his PDA and scrolls down the list of participants and lands on a picture of Sam.)
Danny and Tucker exclaimed with surprise "SAM?" Danny and Tucker are surprised to spot Sam listed as a candidate.
(Sam annoyed.) "Yes, Sam. I signed up for the stupid pageant." (Rolls her eyes.)
Many students look at Sam and gasp loudly. Danny and Tucker share a hearty laugh. something the entire student body is also in total shock at (while Danny and Tucker laugh).
Danny asks "What is this April Fool's Day?"
(Tucker Holding up a finger at Sam.) "Yeah, you hate this contest!"
"I'm not doing this to win—" (Sam grabs Tucker's beret and pulls it over his head.) "I'm doing it to make a statement." (Sam, however, explains she merely joined to make a statement of disgust towards it.) (She walks off and Tucker pulls his beret off from one of his eyes, watching her leave.)
Back of the school, near some bleachers. A bunch of female students are gathered around. Sam and the other girls are getting trained and ready for the pageant.
"Well, here's a statement." (Dora holds a hand out towards Sam, standing beside her.) "It says I'll never win in this outfit."
Sam glares at Dora and puts her hands on her hips.
"Still, Ms. Manson has a point." (Dora walks towards the girls, now all standing in a row.) "You girls are unique individuals with strong opinions and independent minds."
"You're darn right we are." Sam says.
"It's my job to make you forget that and mold you into happy little princesses." (Dora smiles with her hands clasped together)
All the girls put their hands up and shout 'YAY!'. Sam looks on displeased. The scene cuts to the girls all walking in a straight line with books on their heads. Sam is looking down and reading her book. She walks into the girl in front of her, making the book fall off and causing a domino effect. Danny and Tucker, watching from the bleachers.
(Danny Point a finger out to Sam.) "Dating her Friday."
(Tucker also points a finger out.) "Dating her Saturday."
(Tucker pointing to another girl.) "Dating her Sunday! Too bad you aren't free you could have be going out with most of the chicks in school."
(Danny leans back with his eyes closed, Danny points at Sam again.) "Dating her Sunday. True but enjoy it while it last the pageant won't last forever."
" Will do, will do." Tucker says in agreement.
Danny's ghost sense goes off as The Headsman ghost smashes through the bleachers, Going towards the field while Danny fights the Headsman ghost once more. Danny aims his fists at the large ghost and shoots out large beams of energy, hitting the Headsman in the back. Taking the fight some other place while the girls return to their practice.
Dora and the female students, practicing their smiles. The girls each smile and get the approval of Dora. Sam steps in front of Dora with a bored expression and then opens her mouth to reveal fangs. Dora holds her arms up in shock. She gasps and holds her hand out, annoyed. Sam then spits the fake teeth into Dora's palm and walks off. Sam's skills as an elegant girl don't bode well for Dora, as the former eventually accidentally steps on the latter's foot and causes her to temporarily display a fit of anger, showcasing a quick dose of a lizard-like tongue and red eyes. Sam notices this.
Back to Danny. He ducks the swing of the ghost's axe making the tree behind him get chopped off. It begins to fall down towards the ground. Danny fires a couple of ecto-shots hitting the ghost in the chest. The axe ghost takes a pouch from his belt then throws it at Danny. Danny fires another ghost ray making the pouch explode creating a smoke screen. Danny taking a Fenton thermos out aiming at the ghost but the ghost already escaped using the smoke screen.
Sam P.O.V
"I'm telling you. There was something weird about Dora." Sam speaks to Danny about it.
"Mm hmm." Danny only say dismissively.
"Ghostly weird."
"Yeah. Yeah. Oh yeah that's it." Danny unfortunately too into the pageant judge position to seemingly care.
"So glad we could have this little talk."
"Sam, look. Whatever it is I can handle it when this little window of popularity is over. But right now I have a little surprise for you." Paulina walking towards them and having a small smirk on his face.
"I've got those compliments you wanted me to tell her." Paulina says with a twitch on her eye.
"And I brought the tape recorder so we'll have proof you said them." Tucker says while setting up his recorder.
" Danny you're the best, making the head cheerleader suffer a bit just for me."
But suddenly Danny ghost sense goes off. Seeing this I grab Paulina and blocking her view of Danny so he can slip away to transform. A medieval Archer Ghost approaches.
"Dude. You're seriously cutting into my very limited girlfriend flirting with me time.( Danny does battle with him shooting an ecto-ray destroying the bow the Archer Ghost flying off.) Ha! Not so tough without your arrows. I don't know why these spooks are going medieval on me. But I'm going to find out." Danny says while looking at me making sure I was safe and probably the other girls. (Hi Danny. other girls greeting Danny as he approaches in his human form.)
"As soon as this pageant is over." Danny says enjoying his temporary popularity.
Not that I care that the other girls are giving him the googly eyes. As I walk back stage to find Dora and get proof of her being a ghost.
"You see? The boy is distracted. The ring masks me from his ghost sense. He suspects nothing." Dora now revealed as Dora the dragon ghost girl sees all this from her giant ring which protects her from Danny by concealing her status as a ghost, preventing his ghost sense from alerting him to her identity, using the headsman and archer ghosts as further distraction.
"Which is more than I can say for the girl. Perhaps next time you should just walk up to her and scream I'm a ghost!" However her brother, the dark prince, is rather angry with her due to that one mishap where she almost revealed her true identity when her foot was stepped on.
"Please. Please forgive me brother. I didn't think—" Dora begs for his forgiveness.
"You're not supposed to think.(cutting off Dora) You're supposed to keep her away from the ghost boy until show time. So do it!" Prince Aragon berates his sister.
Sam watches all this from afar. Not liking Dora's brother statement.
The night of the pageant arrives.
"Wait. Let's just savor our last few moments of datability. (sighs) I'm going to miss this." Tucker says not wanting the pageant to end.
"Danny. Don't go out there. Dora is—" Sam Get cut off by Danny.
"An insult to modern women? A throwback to the dark ages? And speaking of dark ages." He is interrupted when both the axe and archer ghosts come down to further distract him.
"Danny wait! Miss Mattingly, I didn't hear you." Sam tries to tell Danny about Dora's true nature. However, she is interrupted When Dora appears before them.
"You'd be surprised how dainty your footsteps can be when you don't wear combat boots! Come. We mustn't miss the pageant." Dora says pulling on Sam. Sam tries to make her escape, but Dora pushes her on stage, her anger causing her to revert to her dragon ghost self for a short moment.
"You know, I was really hoping we could bury the hatchet. Missed! Or, perhaps not. Later dude. It's been a slice. Okay well, it's official. I'm all out of axe puns."
Lancer singing on stage opening the ceremony for the pageant.
A happy princess is sweet and pure
With hair of gold and teeth of white
Her soft complexion is pure perfection
With nary a pimple in sight
(Points to girl behind him) "Except her." (Girl shrieks and runs off)
"Miss Mattingly, I just realized, I'm not cut out to be a princess. So I'll just be going—" Sam tries to get out of the stage.
"Nowhere." Dora blocking her path.
"Wait! Don't I get a trial? A phone call? A last request? Come on, cut me some slack. Hey another ax pun. Oh man. I'm late for the pageant." Danny meanwhile manages to escape from the two ghosts (who fly off when the clock strikes eight) and heads over to judge the pageant.
Paulina is on stage doing her performance. "For my Happy Princess talent I'm going to lead a cheer…about me! Oh yeah! Paulina! That's me! I seen ya! I'm cute. As a button. And you. You're nothing. Uh huh. Alright. Break it down."
After a number of contestants, Sam arrives and uses her talent of "goth haiku" to warn Danny that Dora is a ghost.
"I'm Sam Manson and my Happy Princess talent is…goth haiku. Despair without end. (quickly whispered) Dora's a ghost. Utter blackness. Nothingness. (quickly whispered) Dora's a ghost. Dora! Is! A ghost!"
"So that's your big statement? Dora's a ghost? (Chuckles) I mean what…wait. Dora's a ghost?" Danny realize what she said.
Lancer come and hand a piece of paper to Danny. "Good sir judge, hast thou made thy decision?" After getting that note, Lancer asks if Danny has chosen a winner.
Not listening to what he said and only concerned for Sam.
"Sam!" Danny cries out her name, inadvertently declaring her the winner.
"Yay verily let it be proclaimed that the Happy Princess crown shall be decreed to…Sam?! Are you unwell?" lancer says
Dora places a tiara on Sam's head, sending both girls to the Ghost Zone.
"Sam! No!" Danny cries out seeing them disappear.
In the Ghost Zone.
Aragon announces he has chosen a bride: Sam herself.
"My loyal subjects. At long last the wait is over. Your prince has finally selected his bride."
"Bride?" Sam says in confusion.
"Oh cheer up dear. You're going to be a princess." Dora says in a smile.
"Cheer up? I'm hauled off to the ghost zone. I'm about to be married to a stranger. Oh and let's not forget this lovely feature to my crown. It won't come off!" Sam say in a begrudging tone.
(Laughs)" It's no use child. Only prince Aragon can remove the tiara. You are bound to him forever. (Laughs) Isn't that wonderful?" Dora says with out will of her own.
"Well Prince Aragon needs to get his head out of the Middle Ages. It's the 21st century." Sam not liking her predicament.
"Not here. In this realm all time stands still. Not that you care but this is no fun for me either. I have to make you a princess or the prince will have my head. (Sighs) We're doomed." Dora says in regretment.
Meanwhile, all the girls from the pageant angrily storm towards the boy's restroom and try to get Danny out.
"You're doomed Fenton. You hear?" Star yells out.
"You can't hide in there forever!" Paulina adds in.
"Step aside ladies. Listen up Fen-toast. Your get out of wail free card just expired. Hey, where'd he go?" Dash says in confuse.
Dash and his team of bullies enter the restroom to soundly beat him up but find him missing.
