This world started somewhere in Asia but everything from the Oolong saga and onwards were just in America just saying to avoid any confusion.
This chapter will be the Ox King segment and new segment that'll replace the rabbit mob stuff with something a bit more interesting though you'll have to read to find out.
Reason why I'm not finishing the saga is because I didn't want to make the chapter feel bloated also I want my words per chapter to be around 2000-4000 words anyway leave a review and let's get started.
(Age 749 outskirts of the Ox Kings Village.)
"Fire mountain what's that?" Goku asks as he reads a sign on the side of the road.
"Beats me," Diana responded a bit curious herself.
"Fire mountain? You want to go to fire mountain! Your batshit insane!" Oolong ranted.
"Why such a big deal?" Bulma asked.
"Big deal? Up until 10 years ago, that place was known as Pleasant Mountain a tranquil place of peace and prosperity until one day a fire spirit fell from the heavens and engulfed the entire mountain in eternal fire and is ruled by the mighty ox king a terrifying demon who will kill us without hesitation for trespassing on his territory!"
"Wow, he sounds very powerful!" Goku said excitedly.
'These are the kinds of beings my mother warned me about before I went to man's world this should be a good fight,' Diana thought.
"Well hopefully we can avoid him on our trip there apparently there's a town nearby that we could rest in for a bit," Bulma said.
"Welp let's go then!" Goku yelled as they drove down towards the Ox King's village.
(Later.)
"So this is the Ox Kings Village huh?" Bulma mused as she looked around at all the small houses but what really caught their attention was the gigantic Mountain in the foreground wreathed in towering flames.
"They weren't kidding about the fire part," Diana said slightly impressed.
"The Ox King must be on another level to be able to live in a flaming mountain!" Goku added excited by the prospect of a powerful opponent.
"Bulma you sure the dragon ball is worth it?" Oolong asked nervously.
"Of course it is! I didn't do all of this for no reason now stop being such a pansy-ass!" Bulma yelled.
"Actually Goku and I are the only reason you guys aren't dead," Diana replied.
"As if I've done plenty!"
"You mean fainting like a damsel in distress or provoking everyone we meet?" Diana mused "Because that makes you sound like a liability."
"Fuck you too!" Bulma retorted glaring daggers at the Princess.
"She isn't wrong though." Oolong said smugly.
"I respect warriors not cowards." Diana said to Oolong causing the bipedal pig to slump to the floor sadly.
"Come on Diana that isn't nice!" Goku said.
"Its still the truth no matter how cruel it is." Diana finished coldly.
"Fine then let's go to fire Mountain but if our asses get killed I'm blaming it all on you two!" Oolong yelled pointing accusingly at the two girls.
(A bit later.)
"Man its hot up here." Bulma said sweating heavily.
"No shit we're next to an entire mountain engulfed in fire!" Oolong replied annoyed.
"Come on guys we need to cooperate if we're to ever find this dragon ball." Goku cut in before things got out of hand as Diana simply glanced at them but staying silent.
"I still can't believe we're going anywhere near a guy called the emperor of demons!" Oolong said.
"Many beings use similar titles doesn't mean their all that tough." Diana said wisely.
They then noticed Bulma being surprisingly silent.
"What's wrong?" Goku asked concerned for her welfare.
"Its just so hot!" Bulma yelled.
"Maybe because your wearing a tight bunny suit!" Diana replied angrily "To believe someone could be as indecent as to even own something like that!"
"I know you aren't talking! Your families choice in attire isn't exactly modest either!" Bulma retorted.
Diana blushed in embarrassment "Its tradition!"
"Normally I wouldn't believe you but considering who your pantheons leader is I'm hardly surprised that he would make his worshippers wear such clothes!"
Diana grit her teeth in anger "Your going to disrespect my peoples beliefs?"
Oolong glanced between them worriedly "Yeah that's a bit to far."
Goku tried to quiet them down "Come on guys keep it down before we attra-"
"Who dares trespass within my territory?" A voice boomed as the group of four gulped before turning to see a hulking beast of a man adorned with gigantic horns a red Cape and strangely fashioned armour his eyes covered by a pair of large goggles and finally wielding a massive battle axe.
"Attention." Goku finished in fear as the Ox King regarded them carefully before speaking "So why are you here?"
"We don't mean any harm!" Bulma yelled fearfully.
"That doesn't answer my question." The Ox King said dryly.
"Nimbus!" Goku shouted as he hopped on it in preparation to fight such a towering foe.
'The Kintoun? The Ox King thought slightly surprised 'Guess he'll be more interesting than I thought.'
The Ox king swung his massive arms with surprising speed and skill catching the Saiyan of guard as he dodged around the blows and running straight into a powerful kick from the Ox King sending him flying off the flying Nimbus luckily though the cloud swooped in the catch its current master before he hit the ground.
"Crap he won't be able to do this by himself!" Diana yelled charging in with her sword and slashing at the Ox King but he blocked it with his massive axe the clash sending Diana backwards as well.
"Damn he hits hard." Diana mused as she decided to take a more evasive approach whilst Goku was swooping in on Nimbus landing a few power pole strikes but doing very little lasting damage.
"You two are impressive for whelps your size." The Ox King commented before jumping backwards and simply stopping causing the two to stop in their tracks.
"What are you doing?" Goku asked.
"Is this a trap?" Diana added warily.
"Not at all your courage despite facing a powerful adversary was enough to make me consider hearing you out so tell me children why are you here of all places?"
"We're in search of a dragon ball that's located here Ox King sir." Bulma interrupted causing the Ox King to frown.
"Dragon balls? Surprised you youngsters know what they are modern folk usually scoff at the notion of a wish-granting dragon only this region really sees commonplace 'Abnormal activity.'"
"So you attacking us was a mere test of character?" Diana asked slightly doubtful.
"Somewhat though my main reasoning is I've been in a rather bad mood lately due to the constant fire around this mountain it drives me insane!" The Ox King said annoyance evident in his voice as he talked about his troubles.
"Sorry to hear that," Oolong said as he finally walked up to join them.
"There is a way I know of to fix all of this and that's the Bansho Fan."
"Bansho fan?" Goku asked.
"Yes, the Bansho fan and artefact capable of summoning any matter of weather from light winds to powerful storms! It was created by the feathers of the Hikui bird according to the legend at least."
"And how do we obtain this fan?" Diana asked slightly skeptical that such power would be put in a fan of all things.
"My old martial arts teacher is the current owner of the Bansho Fan." The Ox King replied.
"Who's that?" Goku asked.
"The pioneer of the Kame style Master Roshi!"
"That pervert? Seriously?" Bulma replied annoyed.
"He does have a perverted side to him." The Ox King admitted "But in terms of martial prowess he's the real deal!"
"How do you know he'll even help us?" Diana asked.
"I'm a old student of his he's surely willing to help."
"So you just want us to go?" Bulma asked.
"No only one of you but you must take my daughter with you Chi-Chi you can come out! now"
A small girl with dark hair with a pink helmet adorned with a blade on top of it wearing pink shoes a light blue Cape as well as darker blue bikini the atire was most likely supposed to be a superhero costume but that kind of failed.
(All seriousness though what was with that costume?)
"Why do you want her to accompany us?" Diana asked wondering why he would want his daughter to go with them to find the Bansho Fan.
"For the experience! It'll be invaluable to have these sought of learning opportunities for when she's older." The Ox King replied.
"Isn't she a princess? Why would you want her to go on a potentially dangerous mission?" Bulma asked.
"Diana's a princess and she holds up fine!" Goku reasoned.
"She's a princess of a deadly warrior race and she's a sheltered traditional princess they are not the same!" Oolong added.
"Well she can suplex a t-rex but if that's normal to you then I'm concerned." The Ox King interjected.
Goku nodded thoughtfully "Well we fight dinosaurs quite frequently," He then remembered that most humans aren't as strong as his grandpa "But she's way stronger than a normal human so sure she can come with me!"
"Come with you? So I assume your going to get the Bansho fan then alone with her..?" Diana guessed glumly.
"Why you jealous?" Oolong smirked slyly.
Her cheeks went bright red "N-no of course not! Makes sense to me he does have the flying nimbus after all."
"Lay off Oolong!" Bulma scolded before continuing "So when are you going?"
"Right now! Come on Chi Chi!" He gestured to sit on Nimbus as he hopped on himself.
"Oh uh ok." Chi Chi stammered nervously at the prospect of flying on Nimbus as she jumped on the cloud which didn't make her fall through either.
"I knew my daughter is pure hearted!" The Ox King said proudly.
Diana frowned "I can too!"
Bulma chuckled a bit as Goku and Chi Chi flew away on Nimbus towards Kame house.
(Age 749 Near Kame house.)
"So yeah that is what's happened so far!" Goku said finishing off his description of the journey thus far to Chi Chi.
"Wow that's some quest you've been on." Chi Chi said in awe.
"Yeah! Anyway I think that Kame House up ahead!" Goku yelled excitedly as they flew towards the familiar pink house to see the turtle hermit once again.
"Hey Roshi you there?" Goku asked loudly as he searched for Roshi.
"Yeah yeah I'm here!" Roshi replied as he walked out the house with his usual clothes on.
"So... What do you want and where's the pretty one?" Roshi asked as he looked around for Bulma.
"Bulma? She's at fire Mountain!" Goku replied.
"Oh..." Roshi said glumly before he looked at Chi Chi curiously "And who's this?"
Chi Chi frowned before whispering to Goku "This is the Master Roshi? He doesn't look like much."
"Well he's the only Roshi I know." Goku whispered back.
"Uh hello?" Roshi asked.
"Hi my name's Chi Chi and I'm the Ox Kings daughter!" She pointed at herself taking Goku's word for it.
"The Ox King huh? That brings back memories." Roshi sighed fondly before shaking himself "Anyway what do you guys want with little old me?"
"We need the Bansho fan to get rid of the flames of fire mountain!"
"Bansho fan? Oh right that old piece of junk yeah I threw that away ages ago! It had no powers anyway I didn't think anyone believed that old legend!"
"Wait its fake? Then how do we stop the fire?" Chi Chi asked worriedly.
"Oh calm down Princess! This old man has few tricks up his sleeves and I'll be glad to help any previous student of mine! But on one condition."
"What's that?' Chi Chi asked.
"That girl what's her name Bulma? Anyway I want to uh... how do I put this... Grab her breasts!" Roshi finished with a lewd grin on his face.
"You what?" Chi Chi said mortified as Goku frowned.
"That's it? I still don't understand what the big deal about those things are you'd think they'd give you powers the way everyone hypes them up!"
"Oh believe me my boy you'll understand some day." Roshi replied.
(Back at fire Mountain.)
"We're back!" Goku yelled as the trio all landed ready for action.
"Master Roshi!" Ox King cheered hugging his old teacher and friend.
"Been a long time friend." Roshi grinned before turning to the mountain "I may not have the Bansho Fan but I have something much more fitting for the job."
"Hang on you don't mean?" The Ox King said nervously.
Diana and Goku looked at Master Roshi curiously as he got into a unfamiliar stance.
"Ka-me." Roshi started as a blue ball of unfamiliar energy glowed in his hands.
"Hame."
"Roshi my I still live there!"
"Ha!" Roshi yelled as the once small blue ball ejected into a gigantic energy blast extinguishing the flames but also levelling the mountain with no effort.
"Bit to much power into that one! Sorry its been a while." Roshi said embarrassed.
"He just levelled that mountain!" Diana gasped in awe.
"Wow that was cool!" Goku cheered in excitement.
"This old man isn't as defenceless as he seems." Roshi said chuckling the attack also astonished Chi Chi as well.
The Ox King however looked mortified "Look I'm thankful for the fire and all but really my castle?"
"Sorry about that." Roshi said.
"Its... fine I guess." The Ox King replied grumpily.
Bulma meanwhile was inspecting the wreckage until she saw a orange glow "Hey guys I think I found something!"
"What is it?" Oolong asked as Bulma unearthed it from beneath the rubble "Its a dragon ball!" Bulma yelled.
"That means one more to go." Diana said.
"Yeah we've better go now come on Goku!" Bulma said before she saw Goku near the car "Uh Goku?"
'Man that attack was something else!' Goku thought excitedly as he memorised the technique.
"Kamehameha!" Goku shouted as he launched a small Kamehameha towards the car before smashing a hole through it and blowing it to smithereens.
Master Roshi looked over slightly intrigued 'He learned a move that took me 20 years to master and he lacked even basic control on Ki this kid is certainly something else.' He thought as he watched everyone's reactions.
"Our car!" Bulma yelled shocked at what she saw.
"How the hell do we get around now?" Oolong added glumly.
Diana was conflicted between excitement and annoyance at her friends attack on one hand it was rather cool and impressive to pull of but on the other they now had no car.
"Fret not everyone! I have a car I can spare for you!" The Ox King said as he lifted a large car over his shoulder before placing it on the ground.
"Why though?" Diana asked.
"For helping us finally put out this fire! Take it as a gift."
"But your home is gone." Bulma added.
"Building a new one will hardly be a sweat for me plus I'm sure some of my treasure survived!"
They group then hoped into the car as they prepared to drive away until Chi Chi ran up to Goku.
"Will I see you again?" Chi Chi asked.
"Uh... Yeah sure!" Goku replied much to Chi Chi's pleasure.
"See you later Goku!" Chi Chi said.
"Bye Chi Chi! By Ox King!" Goku waved in unison with everyone else as they drove away to the next dragon balls location.
(The next part will be something completely different from the rabbit mob segment of the pilaf saga anyway hope you enjoy this change it may also be quite long.)
(Age 749 Bludhaven: Yeah where going there also at the moment Batman exists and is older than the main cast but he only operates in Gotham city and Nightwing doesn't exist yet.)
Bludhaven often considered the sister city of Gotham was formerly considered a whaling town until it was incorporated as a 'commonwealth' in 1912 the town has a poor social economic populace owing in part to failed efforts to convert it to manufacturing and shipping centre.
But more than that it was home to criminals some seriously dangerous criminals.
( A while ago.)
"The cars almost out of gas we're going to need to stop for gas real soon." Bulma said.
"Where's the nearest city?" Diana asked.
"Hmm let me see its a place called Bludhaven." Oolong replied while reading his map.
"Bludhaven seriously?" Bulma replied anxiously.
"What's wrong with it?" Goku asked.
"Its has one of the highest crime rates in the world! And its police force is known to be corrupt." Bulma said.
"How bad can it be?" Diana frowned she hadn't really seen any criminal activity besides the likes of Oolong Yamcha and Flame Master.
"Going out at night time may well be a death sentence." Bulma replied.
"Oh crap really? Can we go somewhere else?" Oolong asked.
Bulma sighed "The closest other cities are Gotham which is generally just as bad and Atlanta city besides we only have 4 litres left."
"Fine but let's be quick ok?" Oolong responded.
"We are leagues above ordinary people let's just hope that if we run into trouble its some run of the mill thugs rather than super powered beings." Diana added before frowning at Bulma "You'll need new clothes a bunny suit won't do anymore."
"I don't see a problem with it." Oolong said with a perverted grin as he started at Bulma in her bunny suit.
"We're going into a city where crime is abundant I don't think we should attract unnecessary attention from... Those kind of people." Diana replied while glaring at Oolong.
"Ok I'll get some new clothes while we're there though I think we all need new clothes or at least a disguise." Bulma responded.
(Present.)
"I've never been able to see how refuelling a car works." Diana admittedly fascinated at the innerworkings of putting petrol in a car.
"It's nothing special but if your entertained then good for you I guess?" Bulma replied a bit amused as she put petrol in the tank.
"Bulma where is everyone?" Goku asked as he watched the empty streets.
"Everyone's probably cooped up in their homes its close to night time after all." Bulma replied as she finished filling the tank up.
"Well let's get to the shopping quickly once we pay then." Oolong said nervously.
(In a clothing store.)
"Alright you think this fits me?" Bulma askes whilst holding up a short skirt.
"Something more modest you can wear such atrocities when where out of here." Diana responded.
"Speaking of which we'll need a hotel won't we?" Oolong asked "Especially since we're fresh out of Dyno Caps."
"Crap your right hope we van find one before nightfall." Bulma replied just as Goku ran up to them with a orange top with dark coloured pants.
"These good?" Goku asked as he held them up.
"Yup they remind me of your trading Gi in terms of colour." Diana replied.
Diana then found some comfortable Gray pants and a white top to purchase as Bulma came back with a bag full of clothes.
"Seriously how much do you need?" Oolong asked looking appalled at the amount.
"This isn't even that much!" Bulma replied indignantly.
"More than necessary though." Diana added.
"Who cares about that let's get these already!" Goku interjected before a argument broke out as they went to purchase the clothes.
(Later.)
"5000 dollars? You I'm still surprised you can just pull that much out your pocket." Oolong commented.
"Of course my father is one of the smartest and richest men in the world." Bulma replied smugly.
"My mum owns treasure beyond anything you could comprehend don't get me started." Diana said bluntly.
Bulma glanced down sadly as Oolong sniggered all as Goku zoned out as per usual all of them dresses in their brand new clothes for the time being as to not draw attention.
"Man I'm used to being without company but this is different its like the city is devoid of all life." Goku said as he looked at the desolate and empty streets of Bludhaven.
"No shocker there 5 o'clock is the usual time to get inside that store we went to is probably closed by now the city gets pretty active at night but not for any good reasons." Bulma said before continuing "Heck some criminals will commit crime in broad daylight and no one will do a thing about it the city truly lives in fear.
"They then stopped in front of a hotel which made of old and weathered concrete with limestone support pillars and standing at 6 stories high, "Hotels have to remain open for obvious reasons so many don't go to them around here so finding a room will be easy."
The group walked in and they saw the fear and anticipation clouding the faces on all the people present.
"This is the part of the world Mother wished to shield me from." Diana muttered as she without even witnessing the happenings of Bludhaven could tell that each person present was lucky to be alive as it was and they all knew without a doubt.
"Can we book a room for 4?" Bulma asked the lady at the counter.
"What floor would you like it on?"
"6th Floor please."
"Alright its room 610 4 rooms from the entrance got it?"
"Ok thanks!"
"We hope you enjoy your stay!"
The group then went towards the elevator and going to the 6th floor and going to their room for the night.
"Goodnight everyone!" Bulma said cherily.
"Goodnight!" Goku replied.
"Sweet dreams." Diana added
"Yeah goodnight you lot." Oolong finalized before heading off to his part of the room as did everyone else to their respective areas.
(A few hours earlier ? POV.)
"What a peculiar bunch." A man with shoulder length greasy black hair mused as he watched a group from afar whilst sharpening a knife he noted that they were a peculiar bunch the blue haired girl in the bunny suit was attractive but ultimately most likely a killer but the other three were far more interesting a bipedal pig a smaller girl with strange Armour and a bit with a monkey tail would make for some excellent kills indeed.
"Macabre?" A grunt called as he went along side him to see what he was looking at.
"Yes?" Macabre asked with a sadistic smile on his face.
"The deeds done sir."
"Very good because it seems we have some unlucky guests within our city." Macabre replied.
Yeah in case you don't know she's a member of a group known as the fist of Cain (Its a cult the glorifies murder.) And their usually antagonists of Nightwing and sometimes Batman but Nightwing doesn't exist yet and Batman isn't operating Teo cities right now especially with no bat family yet (Batman will appear sometime in the OG segment of the series and he'll older than the main cast.)
Also regarding the DC Canon now I don't remember if I said this but this has no specific DC Canon tied to it and by the way you can suggest characters to be in the story (Mostly villains I don't want to overinflate the main cast.)
Speaking of the main cast this is a justice league fic so its no really going to focus on one hero (When the league is formed everyone's kids besides Batman at the moment.) But I will occasionally have a smaller arc focusing on one or two heroes since being a dragon ball crossover character like Black Canary and Green Arrow won't be able to keep up after some point so I'll have to as to not completely neglect them as for the dragon ball humans I'll find ways to keep them relevant (The Green Lanterns better watch out lol.)
