This chapter will cover all the muscle tower content So it'll be full of mini boss fights if you could call them that we're also going to have a new character join our main crew but you'll have to read to find out who it is.
Age 750 (Jingle village outskirts.)
Our trio found themselves in a harsh blizzard as they trudged along through the snow heavy night after having been teleported here via the red ribbon technology.
"I've never seen snow in person before!" Goku exclaimed excitedly.
"Most people haven't." Diana replied before thinking further. "Though considering the stuff you've seen snow seems pretty trivial compared to prehistoric animals casually coexisting near you house."
"You live next to dinosaurs?" Krillin said surprised.
"Krillin we've seen all kinds of monsters considered as myth how are dinosaurs surprising?" Diana asked.
"Their meant to be dead plus I haven't seen all the things you guys have remember that wyvern was the first monster I've ever seen." Krillin replied as he slowly sunk into the larger mounds of snow.
"Hahaha! Krillin you need some stepping stools?" Goku asked mockingly.
"Your not doing to good yourself." Krillin retorted as Goku also sunk a bit.
"Come to think of it you two are much smaller than you should be at our age your built like pre-schoolers!" Diana noted with a smirk on her face having no trouble as she was average size for a 13 year old.
"We need to find somewhere to rest real soon!" Krillin stated as he began to shiver.
They all looked around the barren wasteland of snow until Diana spotted some lights of a village in the distance "Lets try over there!" Krillin and Goku had no other suggestions so the trio ran towards the village as they came into view of the humble snow covered town they walked through the streets of which most houses had fires going with most people staying inside for the night.
"Is there a motel around here?" Krillin asked hopefully.
Diana sighed "Nope in fact there all just a bunch of the same looking houses."
Goku curiously walked up to a house seemingly smaller than the rest before he knocked on the door.
"Hello anyone home?"
"Goku! You can't just knock on random peoples doors!" Diana scolded.
"Yeah your going to get us arrested!" Krillin added in a panic however to their surprise the door opened and out popped a girl slightly smaller than Diana but still much taller than Krillin and Goku with wavy black hair and vibrant blue eyes and appeared to be of Italian background she wore fluffy black pajamas with patterns of top hats and wands all in white across them.
"Why are you guys out on a cold night like this with no jumpers on?" The girl asked curiously.
"Its a... Long story." Diana said.
"Yeah lots of explosions and fighting." Krillin added not expecting her to believe them.
However she nodded eagerly "Really? Come on in then! There's plenty of room to spare." She then walked through as the group exchanged glances.
"Well you heard her let's go!" Goku said as he went to follow her.
"Now hold on you sure we can just waltz in? No normal person would just let some random kids bunk for the night besides whys she still up its past midnight!" Krillin said.
"And where's her parents?" Diana added "They would have gotten up by now."
"You coming?" The girl asked from inside.
"Fine let's go." Krillin said as they all walked in to see a room larger than the entrance to a mansion adorned with red carpet pristine white walls with hanging pictures along the sides they saw hallways leading to I've rooms just as massive all confined in the shell of the tiny house.
"How does this all fit in such a tiny house."
"Magic." The girl replied vaguely as she walked away from them towards a plush black lounge.
"Magic? Stay on guard then." Diana warned warily knowing how notoriously tricky mages can be.
"Sounds pretty cool!" Goku said eyes glimmering in excitement.
"Pu mraw!" The girl said as she pulled out a wand and pointed it at them changing their current atire to clothes similar to her own and cleared all the snow and frost from the bodies and hair.
"Wow thanks!" Goku said admiring his snug outfit.
"Man this is comfy." Krillin noted as he patted himself down.
Diana was more at ease now that she was wearing a more comfortable outfit and smiled her thanks.
"Take a seat! I'd like to hear your story after all explosions and fighting is rather peculiar compared to what others have told me.
"Uh can we have a name first? It'll be kind of awkward otherwise." Goku said.
The girl blushed sheepishly "Oh right well my name is Zatanna!" She said waving her wand as silver writing appeared as she wrote her name in the air.
Diana nodded "My name is Diana these two are Goku and Krillin anomalies of size considering their age.
Zatanna giggled as Krillin scowled "I'll hit my growth spurt soon and then I'll be taller than all of you!"
Goku frowned "Nah I'll be way taller than you." Before taking a seat next to Zatanna much to her surprise though she didn't seem to mind.
Diana and Krillin exchanged glances before shrugging and sitting on the other side sinking comfortably into their seats.
"I've needed to sit for ages!" Krillin admitted as he sank further into the seat.
"I think we've all wanted to sit back and relax for a while now." Diana replied.
"So you wanted to here out story right?" Goku asked Zatanna in which she nodded.
"Yep you've all sparked my curiosity if I'm to be honest."
The trio exchanged glances before nodding as the three took turns taking retelling the events of the past year from Goku meeting Diana at Themyscira to the events of Bludhaven the battle with the Pilaf gang the eternal dragon Shenron meeting Krillin training with the legendary turtle hermit the 21st world tournament and their first conflict with the red ribbon army and everything else in between.
"That's certainly something." Zatanna admitted impressed from what she heard before she remembered a specific part "Themyscira... Could I go there with you some day? I'm sure there is plenty of ways I could improve my magical abilities by going there."
Diana nodded albeit warily "Probably you are female so they wouldn't have as much of problem or at the very least won't try to kill you."
Zatanna smiled "Great! Also I want to improve my physical abilities since their quite lacking."
Krillin frowned as he observed that even through the loose pajamas she currently had on he could tell she was rather toned and had a curvy figure despite her age and he could already see the tell tale signs that she would be rather attractive as an adult much like Diana now that he though about it.
"Do you live here?" Diana asked.
"Nah this is a vacation home we'll be here for another week before we leave." Zatanna replied.
"Zatanna why are you still up?" A voice echoed from the hallway it radiated a hint of annoyance.
"Dad some people knocked so I answered!" Zatanna replied defensively "Besides I can't just leave them out in the cold!"
"I told you not to do that anymore!" The man said he walked into the room wearing matching pajamas to his daughter albeit much larger he had slicked back hair and a moustache and was also clearly from an Italian background.
The man then looked at the trio curiously before noticing their clothing, "Zatanna did you use magic on them?"
"Uh maybe?"
"I told you it to do that! People are wary or magic."
"Dad magic isn't that weird anymore have you watched the news lately?" Zatanna reasoned.
He sighed "I know with the moon being destroyed on live television no one really finds super humans beings so surprising anymore anyway Zatanna why don't you introduce me to our guests?"
"Ok well as you may of noticed this is my dad his name is Zatara. Dad their names are Diana Goku and Krillin." The trio greeted him politely and he did so back.
"Don't worry Mr Zatara we noticed something was different when the interior was so much bigger than the outside!" Krillin said "Besides we've dealt with crazier stuff than this."
"Yeah and Zatanna is real nice too!" Goku added making Zatanna's face redden in embarrassment.
"I assume you taught her magic?" Diana asked.
Zatara nodded "Yes although she also inherited it from me. Our family are from a long line of... Mages and magicians and are members of a near extinct human offshoot known as Homo Magi who have a natural affinity to magic of course others can learn it we just have it much easier we also have much longer life spans than normal humans."
They all nodded slightly surprised before Goku yawned tiredly.
Zatanna frowned "You guys need a room? We've got plenty."
Krillin nodded eagerly "Yes please! I feel like I'm going to drop dead." The other two wholeheartedly agreed.
"Alright then follow us we have enough for separate rooms for everyone." Zatara replied as he and his daughter escorted them past a large swimming pool and a at home cinema before finally stopping at three rooms at the end of the hall and they all then went off to bed to go to sleep for the night.
Age 750 (Morning.)
Zatara frowned as they all munched on magically made waffles "Red ribbon army? I've heard about them they've been forcing men to work for them luckily I was able to hide myself I've been considering taking them on but it would only be the two of us but with all of us? I'm confident we can stop them though I won't force you to help if you don't want to."
"Of course we do! We can't let them get all the dragon balls after all." Diana replied determined.
"Yeah the consequences of them obtaining such powerful artifacts would be dire." Zatanna added grimly.
"So where's this muscle tower then?" Krillin asked.
"On the outskirts of the city we'll head there after breakfast." Zatara replied.
"How strong are the league of assassins?" Goku asked.
"The foot soldiers are just athletic humans but the elite soldiers have some form of ki control making them far more threatening than the red ribbon elites." Zatara replied knowingly.
"I don't know Merlyn's ki arrows weren't all that impressive." Diana replied.
"Ki arrows? Their simple as you probably know there are far greater threats."
They all then sat in silence until breakfast finished before gearing up Krillin and Goku in their training Gi's Diana in her royal Amazonian armor Zatanna in her fishnet tights and magician costume and Zatara in a similar costume albeit with pants instead as they made their way to muscle tower.
750 (Muscle tower entrance)
"So this is it muscle tower." Diana said staring up the large brown tower in the shape of a cylinder medieval castle tower with turrets at all the levels where guards could shoot down there were some on duty but none had noticed them yet.
"Plan?" Krillin asked but Zatanna quickly stepped forward before he could continue "Noissuncoc!" The guards all the visible guards fell to the floor unconscious unable to stack or warn their superiors.
"Nice work." Diana said with an impressed grin.
Zatanna smiled "Thanks."
"Well done Zatanna!" Zatara said proudly "Now let's see what this tower has to offer shall we?"
The group then made their way inside where to the ground floor where they encountered a group of around fifty soldiers and assassins but once again a quick spell from Zatanna knocked them all unconscious.
"Heh your getting better than me!" Zatara congratulated.
"Yeah saves us the trouble of trying not to kill the fodder soldiers." Krillin added.
"Lets go up the stairs!" Goku said as they all walked up the steps to the second floor.
There they met a hulking menace known as Major Metallitron.
"So you defeated all those weakling soldiers? Yes I've heard of you three warriors but the magic users are certainly new oh well I'll eliminate you as ordered!"
"You talk to much!" Diana yelled as she charged the mechanical giant landing blows easily however the major barely reacted as he swatted her away.
"Lets get him together!" Krillin said as Goku Diana and Krillin attacked him all at once."
"We'll offer ranged support!" Zatara said as he and Zatanna bombarded the robot with fire spells whilst the melee trio landed blow after blow doing some damage but their efforts were futile as while they left some dents the robot enemy was relatively unharmed.
"Your puny attempts would be amusing but I obviously can't feel emotion as I am purely mechanical!" Metallitron stated as mockingly as possible with his monotone voice.
"Lets try blast his metal face to pieces!" Goku yelled as he jumped back and put his hands into a familiar pose as a blue ball of Ki expanded in his hands.
"Good idea!" Krillin added charging a different move in the shape of a disc as it expanded with a glowing yellow Ki.
Diana stood back warily she still couldn't use her Ki at will but some day she vowed too master it.
"Your going to need some repairs after this!" Goku said.
"Elegant!" Zatara yelled trapping the robot in large vines so it couldn't move.
"Kamehameha!" Goku shouted as the beam smashed the robots head to pieces but it could still function as it was.
"Take this you damn tin can!" Krillin yelled "Destruco Disc!" The Frisbee of Ki flew through the robots torso slicing it in half and causing it to explode as he hit the wires inside the machine.
"Nice move Krillin!" Zatanna commended impressed with the Ki construct.
"Thanks." Krillin replied timidly not used to a lot of attention as everyone else looked at him eyes widened. with amazement.
"You could beat any one of his in a single attack!" Diana said surprised.
"Indeed such an attack will prove useful from hereon out I'm sure." Zatara added.
"Let's go to the next floor!" Goku said reminding them of why the were here as they climbed up the next flight of stairs to the third floor where they met the mysterious Ninja Murasaki aka Sergeant Major Purple.
"Heh so you dare challenge me? A run a fools erand!" Ninja Murasaki said as he starting moving at high speeds and throwing random shuriken's at the group however all of them easily dodged and swatted the projectiles much to his annoyance so he accelerates his speed but Goku quickly out speeds him and knocks him to the ground.
The ninja looked up in fear as Goku approached as calm as ever "Your outmatched leave now and you'll be spared."
The ninja calmed his nerves as he remembered his secret weapon before he smirked "Don't get cocky yet boy I have one last thing up my sleeves." He then withdrew a remote as a cage descended to the ground from the ceiling above it contained a hulking titan of a Android with its appearance resembling that of Frankenstein's minster albeit with orange skin.
"Android 8 destroy these wretches!" Ninja Murasaki commanded as the group got into their battle stances expecting a brutal fight considering the mechanical foe they'd just fought prior.
However the Android stood still instead regarding them with a friendly demeanour as it stayed resolute.
"Good riddance to you ninja!" Zatara said.
"Yeah so much for a secret weapon." Diana added with a smirk.
"Raeppasid!" Zatanna chanted pointing her wand at the ninja as he vanished into thin air.
"That's useful!" Goku noted intrigued.
"Indeed it is I already cast the spell on those soldiers on the way in while we were fighting him." Zatara replied proud of his daughter.
"Uh Hey Mr Android 8 do you want to help us?" Goku asked.
The Android nodded eagerly.
"Android 8 sounds disrespectful how about... Brobot!" krillin suggested.
Diana looked at him bored "Brobot? Seems like techno it me."
"Techno's a bit generic though." Zatanna responded with a frown.
"I know his name will will be Eighter!" The robot nodded eagerly as they all shook it's massive hands.
"Noe lets reach the top of Muscle tower!" Zatara said as the ascended the stairs once again where the came faced to face with a smug looking man with silver hair and a suit who smirked at them as they walked in."
"This is it huh? The lot who's been harassing the army this just makes them more pathetic!" General White said mockingly.
"You take that back!" Krillin said heatedly.
"Or what you'll tickle me? Please one old man two female teenagers and two pre school boys can't take me on!"
"We're same age as them!" Goku defended.
"Hahaha same age seriously? You don't look a day over five!"
The floor then opened up between them as the looked up into the generals eyes.
"Have a nice trip down!" The group all spiralled into the abyss of a pit as they thudded to the bottom of the massive dungeon as a giant pink monster stomped out of the shadows roaring in anger it was Buyon.
The group all quickly tried multiple techniques from punches to kicks Ki blasts to fire balls lightning and sword strikes everything harmlessly bounced off the beasts skin.
"Crap he's impervious to all of our attacks!" Diana exclaimed as she dodged a massive fist which easily cracked the floor.
"That gelatinous flesh is a pain!" Krillin said annoyed as he continued as he ducked under a large kick.
"Unless he wasn't jelly anymore!" Goku said excitedly.
"But how do we do that? Our magic can't change his skin after all." Zatara asked.
However Zatanna smirked knowingly realising what he meant "Drazzilb!" She shouted unleashing a massive blizzard upon the beast as it quickly solidified to ice.
Goku then jumped up and smashed the large ice sculpture to pieces defeating Buyon for good.
"Good idea!" Diana congratulated.
"Now how do we get up?" Zatanna asked.
"Etativel!" Zatara yelled causing to levitate at a controlled pace as they quickly rose back to the top of the tower
"Huh back already no matter I'll just do it myself.?" General white said bursting out his suit and bulking up as he swung powerful blows at them however Eighter blocked the punch and walked up to the general surprising everyone as he raised his fist for a powerful blow before smashing general white through the tower wall sending him flying through the air never to be seen again the group the looked panicked as Android 8 began to smash the tower to pieces.
"Let's get out of here!" Krillin said as they jumped out the tower before softly landing thanks to Zatanna and Zatara's magic as they watched the tower collapse into ruins from the machines powerful onslaught.
Next chapter will be the general blue stuff mostly with some more stuff sprinkled on the side in case your wondering why I picked Zatanna and Zatara as nee characters for the cast well its because they were the only realistic choices remember lot of heroes don't unlock or discover their powers until near adulthood after all.
Also quick question would you like to see the DBZ movies be done as arcs some day? Answer yes or no I guess anyway I. case your wondering when Z will start this arc has two more chapters and OG DB will take about until Chap 17 to be honest adding the time skip OG-Z time skip it'll be at chapter 21 when Raditz appears anyway hope you enjoyed and see you next time on DC-Z Reborn.
