Now we have reached the final chapter of the Assassins in Red arc and well that's about it anyway sit back relax and read through the newest chapter of DC-Z Reborn.
Age 750 (Red Ribbon headquarters.)
"So you failed even with the Ki rings?" Commander Red asked looking to neon the verge of a mental breakdown.
Bane sighed "You'd be correct."
"Oh if you three were my soldiers I would have killed you lot already speaking of which where's Blue?"
"Dead as far as we can tell." Lady Shiva replied.
The commander growled in annoyance "Guess I'll have to find some more competent soldiers then!"
Just them Ra's Al Ghul walked in sword at his side "From the yelling I heard another failure I presume?"
"Yes! And the blame goes to these three idiots!" Commander Red pointed at the assassins.
"Don't make me come up there and slice you to pieces Red." Bronze Tiger replied.
Just then staff officer black entered the room and glared at the three assassins and their leader before standing in position besides his own leader.
"You were saying?" Red taunted.
"Now now no need for hostilities besides you still have him on standby don't you?" Ra's replied.
"Of course I do but I didn't think he'd be necessary." Red said tensely.
"So what now?" Bane asked.
Ra's prompted Commander Red to speak
"If the next lot of grunts fail to retrieve the dragon ball in the volcano then he'll be deployed." Red replied.
Age 750 (Red Ribbon army.)
"The dragon balls in this village sir!" A soldier yelled to his superior.
The superior in question was a bipedal tiger wearing pilots clothes named Captain Yellow.
"Good in that case question everyone you see if they refuse... Kill them." Yellow commanded the soldiers all heard his command and ran through the village however they stopped as an old man walked out of a tent.
"Leave this sacred land now or I'll make you leave by force." Bora said calmly.
"Force will do nicely." Yellow said with a smirk.
Bora then got into a battle stance before moving faster than anyone could act blitzing all the soldiers present.
"W-What?" Captain Yellow stuttered in shock.
A boy then walked out of the tent to see what the commotion was about.
"Father what's happening?"
"Back inside Upa." Bora said gently the boy then went inside.
A lightbulb then went off in Captain Yellow's head he now had a plan.
"I warned you but you failed to heed my warning now you'll suffer the consequences."
"Fine fine I'll leave!" Captain Yellow said faking a reluctant voice as he walked off until he reached the outskirts of the village before making a call with some soldiers.
"Are you still in position?" Yellow asked.
"Y-yeah of course!" The soldier stuttered from the other side due to Yellow's harsh voice from being part tiger.
"Good because the village chief has a son the perfect bargaining chip to get what we want."
"What'll we so?" The soldier asked.
"Oh I wonder how about we treat him to a nice feast." Yellow deadpanned.
"Right..."
"We'll offer him a proposition the dragon ball or his sons life." The captain said eagerly "So you'll lure the guards out and I'll sneak in and grab the boy!"
"Rodger that boss!" The soldier responded.
"Aight now get on with it yeah?" He then hung up the call and prepared to strike.
Age 750 (Upa's Village 20 minutes later.)
Captain Yellow's plans had gone to shit almost upon inception unfortunately for the big cat all he knew though was that he wouldn't show his face around headquarters again.
'Well that went to shit.' Yellow thought as he was tied to a pole by the four now infamous teenagers.
"Why thank you for preventing my sons kidnapping!" Bora said happily.
"It's all good we just happened to be in the area that's all." Krillin replied.
"Don't beat around the bush." Diana said bluntly before turning to the village chief "We have been in search of the dragon ball's for a while and one seemed to have landed in this village would you happen to know where it is?"
Bora smiled "Why yes its right here!" He withdrew the dragon ball from his pocket holding out.
"Any catches like a trial or something?" Zatanna asked warily.
Bora frowned "Normally you'd have to prove yourselves but saving my son is more than enough I can tell from looking at you all that your kind souls." He then handed the dragon ball to Goku who upon inspecting it was pleased with what he found.
"Yes! Finally I've got my grandpa's dragon ball back!" Goku cheered holding the 4 star Ball up high in excitement.
"Heh wonder how Bulma would react if she stuck around." Krillin pondered amused at the prospect of her frantic attempts to make a wish.
"Meh I'm just happy our efforts finally paid off." Zatanna replied.
"We still need to stop the Red Ribbon army though." Diana interjected.
Goku nodded ''"Yeah no point quitting now with the army still up and running."
"Speaking of them what about him?" Zatanna asked gesturing to Captain Yellow.
"Yeah what to do with him." Krillin added.
"Now you lot finally pay some attention to me huh? This is really uncomfortable!" Yellow added in anger.
"Quit the useless quips and say something useful instead." Diana spat in disgust before withdrawing the Lasso of truth and quickly insnaring the tiger man.
The other three smirked at his predicament confusing the captain.
"Wipe those smiles off your faces!" Yellow yelled "I haven't even started ye-" He then flinched as he was seemingly forced to attention by an unknown force.
"Let's not dwell on with dramatic speeches shall we? I'm here for questions after all. Speaking of which what are the armies final plan?"
Captain Yellow then went on a massive forced rant about everything he knew from the events that happened prior the final plans their secret weapons and a variety of more information however what intrigued them the most was how they planned to deal with them.
"An assassin huh?" None have worked so far." Goku said flatly.
Yellow chuckled "Not just any run of the mill assassin but the mighty mercenary Tao!"
Diana tilted her head in confusion "Mercenary who?"
"Tao!" Yellow replied "What never heard of him?"
"Nope." Zatanna replied "Besides what makes him special?" she finished dismissively.
Yellow growled as he was forced to answer again "He can use Ki naturally! And he possesses formidable physical strength he's of the more... cunning variety."
Krillin frowned "Any weaknesses?"
"Ha no! Only way you can win is besting him fair and square also specifically for you miss magician well let's just say your typical tricks may not work on him." Yellow said with a toothy grin on his face.
Diana sighed "That's enough let's knock him out and send him and his goons to the authorities." She then chopped the back of his neck knocking him out cold as the others gathered the small group of soldiers before calling the authorities.
"Their on the way guess we just wait around now?" Krillin suggested as he sat there bored out of his mind.
"Guess so." Goku said as he stared contently into the distance as the group began to talk among themselves.
Age 750 (RRA headquarters.)
"He's here!" A soldier hollered to the group waiting in Commander Red's office.
"Let him in!" Red replied as the massive doors opened and in walked a man adorned in a pink robe with a black body suit underneath with jet black hair tied in a braid and finally a black moustache he appeared to bells yet he moved with elegance of a gazelle putting everyone on edge.
"So you called upon me for my services what may I do for you?" Tao Pai Pai asked calmly.
"I need you for an assassination of these four individuals!" Red replied holding out photo's taken of Diana Zatanna Krillin and Goku.
"Some kids eh? What were the league of assassins not enough?" Tao asked mockingly.
"Your talking a lot of shit old man!" Bronze Tiger yelled angrily as he charged at the mercenary Ki ring equipped as he began to swing at him however Tao easily dodged before sticking his tongue out and flicking Bronze Tiger in the head sending him crashing to the floor injured.
"If you were a bit weaker that would have cracked your skull." Tai Pai Pai observed calmly scaring everyone present before me turned back to Red waiting to receive his request money.
Red then pulled out a massive briefcase and handed it to the man revealing a truckload of money however Tao scoffed.
"I hardly need that much! In fact considering it's my job anniversary I'll cut the price by 50% though I'll need something in return."
"What may this be?" Ra's al Ghul asked tensely.
"A Ki ring I'll need to amplify my own Ki based attacks further to take on four warriors of this caliber assuming what you said about them wasn't hyperbole that is."
They all exchanged nervous glances after who knew how strong he'd become?
"Give him the Ki ring all that matters is that the children die!" Red yelled.
Tao chuckled "Don't let anyone hear that one out of context anyway I'd better be going now." He then snatched the ring and burst through the brick wall to get outside.
"Do you need a vehicle?" Bane asked trying to stay on his good side.
"I've got my own way." Tao replied before grabbing a concrete pillar and pulling it out causing some infrastructure to fall.
"What'll you do with that?" Lady Shiva asked dumbfounded.
Tao Pai Pai then threw the pillar into the sky at high speeds before he jumped up high landing on it and surfing through the sky on his flying pillar.
"Well guess the rumours were true about his strength." Ra's al Ghul stated.
Red smiled evilly "Indeed and that means it'll soon be over after all it's about time those meddlesome brats stay out of my hair for good!"
Age 750 (Upas Village.)
"Thanks again for saving me back there." Upa said grateful for their assistance.
"Don't worry about it we have been making a habit out of beating up those Red Ribbon soldiers after all." Krillin replied.
Zatanna frowned "You think Mercenary Tao is after us yet?"
"I don't know to be honest guess it depends on when they find out about Yellows defeat." Diana replied thoughtfully.
"Well if we have to fight him I want to on a full stomach." Goku interjected as his stomach growled.
Just then Bora walked out the tent carrying small rations "You guys hungry? Its not much but its all we can manage while we're repairing the damages.
"Just what the doctor ordered!" Goku cheered as he rushed forward and picked a ration for himself the meal was a humble one but they were all grateful for anything at the moment.
"Its functional that's all that matters." Diana added finishing the meal in a few gulps herself.
"Didn't think you were a fast eater." Zatanna said playfully why taking more delicate bites out of her own.
"Yeah you related to Goku now or something?" Krillin joked.
Diana sighed in annoyance "I'm just hungry surely you guys are as well?"
"I don't know about that." Krillin teased further causing the princess to scowl.
"Let's calm it down a bit Krillin." Zatanna said worriedly.
Krillin snickered "Oh right you wouldn't want to be related Goku because then you couldn't be his girl-Ow!" Diana slapped him in the face out of anger before she continued eating at a slower pace to not garner more teasing.
Zatanna sighed and shook her head as Krillin rubbed his bright red cheek "Man that hurt!"
"What happened Krillin?" Goku asked oblivious to the conversation prior.
"Don't worry about it." The former monk replied hastily.
"Were you guys sparring? Without me!"
"No we weren't it was just a minor... Altercation." Zatanna replied picking a more complicated word he wouldn't understand so he wouldn't ask more questions.
"Oh uh sounds cool." Goku said rubbing his head in confusion.
"You kids having fun?" Bora asked walking up to them.
"Yeah we're fine." Diana replied offhandedly.
"Thanks for the food by the way." Zatanna added trying to make up for her friends coldness.
"Good good!" Bora said before turning to his son "Now Upa have you seen my-" All of a sudden a house burst into flames cutting him off.
"Oh crap don't tell me who I think it is." Krillin said worried.
Then a figure emerged from the flames unmarked from the bonfire of his creation he wore pink robes and had a black braid as well as a moustache.
"On guard everyone!" Diana yelled as another ki blasted rocketed towards them which she blocked with her shield.
"Stay away from them or else!" Bora threatened thrusting his spear at Mercenary Tao however the assassin dodged to the side and grabbed the spear snatching it from him before impaling Bora right through the chest he then sent stuck the spear vertically with Bora still attached into the ground letting his blood drip down the shaft of the weapon.
"Crap he's fast!" Zatanna said fearfully.
Goku scowled in annoyance before he charged at Tao Pai Pai as the Saiyan threw some a volley of punches at him with Tao dodging easily before he retaliated by smacking Goku in the face before following up with some viscous blows sending him crashing to the floor.
"Krillin lets hit him with a double!" Goku yelled to his friend.
"Got it!" Krillin replied as the stood back to back.
"Tsoob!" Zatanna yelled casting it on her friends doubling their power.
"Kamehameha!" Goku and Krillin said synchronizing their attacks as they both slammed into Tao with immense force however as the smoke cleared Tao was left standing there merely burnt a little bit wearing a cocky smirk on his face.
"That's it? The ones who hired me must be pathetic to lose to the likes of you, Dodon Ray!" He then shot a smaller beam at both Goku and Krilin and while they tried to guard against it their efforts were proven futile as they were knocked out cold from that single attack leaving burn marks on them.
"I'll admit that double Kamehameha would have taken me down without my Ki ring but alas that's not a fortune you have right now." Tao said as he stared down the two young girls who still stood.
"Etativel!" Zatanna chanted her eyes glowing purple as she attempted to lift the ring off his finger however to her surprise he was left unaffected.
"Wha-what? it didn't work?"
Tao smirked "My strength surpasses yours to such a degree that your magic fails to effect me much and things connected to me now." He then blitzed Zatanna knocking her out cold as well.
Diana drew her sword and grit her teeth preparing for a tough fight as Tao turned his attention to her once again.
"Three down one to go now let's make this quick shall we?" Tao then rushed forward Diana attempted to block but the assassin swerved around at the last second and kicked her in the ribs sending her skidding through the ground on her side as Tao then did a backflip and landed a flying kick on Diana as she attempted to stand up knocking her out too.
"Done and dusted." Tao said contently not bothering to check their pulses after all no one could have survived his blows like that at least as he believed it to be.
"Now I'll be taking these back and claiming my reward." Tao Pai Pai finished as he retrieved the five dragon balls they had before walking away from them leaving them in the dust.
Age 750 (Later.)
"Hello? You guys there?" Upa asked the warriors who were just starting to wake up from the beating the received prior.
"M-man he really rocked our shit." Krillin said groggily as he got to his knees.
Diana winced as she stretched her aching muscles "We never stood a chance."
"Never knew you could brute force through magics effects." Zatanna commented remembering how Tao resisted her magic.
Goku rubbed his head in pain as he stood up "We can't let them win not after all of this."
"But how? We can't just run back in there and expect anything to change!" Krillin replied as he too stood up.
"But they have the dragon balls now if we don't try they'll take over the world!" Diana said looking in the now empty bag."
"Well he didn't check our pulses talk about arrogance huh?" Zatanna added trying to think positively.
"Actually there may be a way." Upa interjected gaining their curiosity "But it'll be difficult."
"How about your dad though?" Goku asked causing everyone to look to where he used to stuck impaled through the chest by a spear.
"Yeah sorry for your loss." Diana said with everyone else soon echoing similar words of comfort.
"Thanks for that." Upa smiled in response cheering up a bit before getting serious again "Anyway there's the legend of Korin's tower a hulking unnaturally tall piece of architecture and supposedly anyone who reaches to top will be able to receive a scared water which will boost their strength greatly!"
"Does the legend hold any bit of truth?" Diana asked though she was somewhat inclined to believe she knew first hand that most legends were more like pieces of history.
"Well the tower exists and its as tall as the myth says but that's about all anyone knows in fact the last person to climb the tower was over 300 years ago from what the records say."
"Well its worth a shot right?" Zatanna asked now hopeful for their success.
Krillin nodded determinedly "You bet! Anything but standing down to Tao!"
Goku then looks to Upa "We'll get those ones back and then find the last two dragon balls I promise."
"You'd do that for me? Thanks a lot!" Upa replied happily.
"We won't return until Tao's defeated that's a promise." Diana added.
"Uh where is the tower and how far is it?" Krillin asked apprehensively.
"See that over there?" Upa pointed to what appeared to be a skinny white pole stretching high into the sky "That's it in the distance we are on Korin's scared land after all."
"Well we can just fly up there anyway it'll be light work." Zatanna replied confidently.
"If you try to flight you'll be struck by magical bolts unless you've already climbed it before." Upa responded causing everyone to frown.
"Well old fashion way it is!" Goku said brightly suprising everyone else.
"Guess so." Diana replied as they all looked at the colossal mega structure.
They all then exchanged their goodbyes as the four warriors finally made their way to Korin's tower.
Age 750 (Foot of Korin's tower.)
"Whoa the tower looks even higher from here than it did from a distance!" Krillin stated with a look of awe in his eyes.
"It looks truly daunting up close whoever built this was a genius." Diana added.
Zatanna shrugged "It could have been magic for all we know."
"Of course you'd think that!" Krillin responded teasingly.
"I'm not that obsessed with magic!" Zatanna replied indignantly.
"Can't say I believe you Zatanna." Diana said.
Goku frowned "Are we seriously talking about this right now how about climbing the tower who's doing that?"
"Can't we all go?" Krillin asked confused.
"All of us climbing a giant ladder isn't exactly smart if one of us gets tired it can halt our progress if it were stairs we could but that clearly isn't the case." Diana replied.
Zatanna looked between everyone thoughtfully "I assume no one will complain about only one of us getting power right?" Everyone nodded in response and she smiled "Ok well I think Goku's the best pick he has a tail he can use to hang off after all in case he slips."
"If only there wasn't a stupid no flight rule!" Krillin complained annoyed.
"I'm fine with that I'll beat this tower in on time!" Goku replied as he quickly jumped up a few meters he then looked down to his friends "I'll need all the free height I can get!" He then continued to climb carefully as his friends watched him form slowly fade into the distance as the hours went by.
Goku meanwhile was having a tougher time than he anticipated as he struggled to climb up Korin's tower the young warrior had lost track of time his only indication that any time passed was the movement of the sun and speaking of which soon said sun had set which was quite a spectacular view but the couldn't afford to be led astray so he continued the perilous climb now watching the moon for an indicator of time and using the light it casted to hopefully view the top from where he was which was no where in sight for now.
The small boy then began to look at the stars the countless stars now easily visble as he passed the cloud line he saw the various nebula and galaxies dotting the sky and he couldn't help but wonder what lied out in the depths of space as anyone would except he felt an unexplainable pull to the cosmos almost as if he belonged out there but alas his focus couldn't wonder long as he began to once again focus on the task at hand.
'Man everything hurts so much.' Goku thought gritting his teeth as he struggled up step by step so far he had been resting on occasion but doing so was tiring in itself hanging of a ladder of incredible height was particularly relaxing after all but as dawn approached he finally saw a sign of the end filling him with new hope.
'That's it it must be top!' Goku thought giddily as he climbed faster and eventually reached the top as he watched the sun rise from his incredible vantage point over 30km in the sky (18.6 miles: Insert WTF is a kilometre meme here.)
Goku took in the room at the top of Korin'a tower which was more like a box than anything as he searched for Korin himself until he stumbled upon a short fat white cat with its eyes permanently shut from what he could tell it wielded a staff making Goku assume he might be important.
"Are you Korin?" Goku asked uncertainly.
"Who else lives in the damn stratosphere?" The cat replied irritated before calming down "Yes I am Korin sorry about my rudeness it's been a while since I've had visitors so my social skills are totally fried!"
"Oh uh it's fine anyway I need the sacred water because-" Karin cut Goku off as he put a paw on his head reading Goku's mind and quickly finding out about the prior events.
"I know of why you've come thanks to my telepathy anyway you may obtain the water but on only one condition."
"That being?" Goku asked hesitantly.
"Got to get it from me first!" Korin replied as he jumped back and grabbed the water balancing it on his staff and preparing for the chase.
Goku smirked 'This should be easy look at him he's just a fat talking cat.' He then rushed at Korin who weaved easily he tried again but same result and the cycle continued for hours until Goku dropped to the floor in exhaustion he glanced up at Korin as Korin put the water down again he could of tried to grab it now but he knew that would probably have repercussions.
"Hey kid catch." Korin warned as he tossed him a small green bean.
"What's this?" Goku asked inspecting said bean.
"It's called a Senzu bean it restores your stamina and can fill you up for days!"
Goku looked at the bean unconvinced before shrugging as he gulped it down quickly it tasted very good and he immediately wanted more and the want greatened as he felt its powerful effects as all his energy returned and the bruises and burns from Tao Pai Pai also faded along with it and to his surprise he felt a strange sensation in his stomach it was the first time he was full?
"Man this is the stuff!" Goku said satiated now as he patted his belly before he frowned "I've been trying to catch you for a day and I've kept failing why?"
Korin frowned in return "Don't ask me that! I'm just the guardian of the water and this is the trial but hey if it makes you feel any better the last person who tried this took three years to snatch it from me! You might be familiar with him too considering he's your current teacher and all."
"Wait you mean Master Roshi?"
"Right on the money anyway why don't we rest for tonight and try again tomorrow?" Korin suggested.
"But we need to defeat the red ribbon-"
"Yeah I know that but rest is important that's one of the lessons of the turtle school after all right?"
"Ok then goodnight Korin."
"Goodnight to you too Goku." Korin replied as they fell asleep.
After waking up but skipping breakfast for the first time in Goku's life the warrior wasted no time as he chased Korin once again the chase lasted the entire day throughout said day Korin would give him tips helping him improve further as he took a more tactical approach until as the day ended when Goku decided to jump at Korin scaring the cat enough that he dropped the sacred water of his staff as Goku skidded on the floor snatching it with his tail before it fell.
"Well done! Two days is impressive I must say." Korin commended "Now go on drink up!"
Goku nodded as he eagerly drank the sacred water but he felt no dramatic power boost confusing him.
"Uh it didn't work." Goku said as he waited a bit but still nothing happened.
"Well duh it's just tap water!" Korin replies.
"What? Then where's the real stuff?" Goku askes starting to get a bit angry.
Korin chuckled "There never was any but before you loose the plot tell me did anything change before you drunk the water?"
Goku frowned as he realized he felt far stronger than before he then turned to Korin "It was the chasing the water that made me stronger wasn't it?"
Korin nodded "Exactly now while your still here take this pouch with you it has four Senzu beans one for each of you."
"Thanks Korin!'" Goku replied gratefully.
"Pleasures all mine and hey if you have time later pay me a visit will yah?"
"I will Korin bye!" Goku said as he jumped of Korin's tower deploying Nimbus as he rocketed towards the ground until he swooped in right next to his friends who resting prior but were startled by his sudden appearance but more than that.
"Goku your power you could beat Tao by yourself!" Diana exclaimed.
"That water must of been something else!" Krillin added impressed.
"Nah it was just tap water." Goku replied.
"W-what? Then how such a big boost?" Zatanna asked.
Goku then explained what happened on top of Korin's tower as well as the climb up.
"The journey is sometimes greater than the reward? Nice quote." Diana stated.
"Now we need to find Tao and stop him before he delivers the dragon ball's" Zatanna said.
"Nimbus!" Goku yelled as he quickly mounted the cloud as they all hopped together holding Goku's hands as to no fall off via the rules as they charged of searching for Tao's energy signature.
Age 750 (Few hours later.)
"Let's get him!" Krillin said as they all jumped down from Nimbus surrounding Mercenary Tao.
"Oh? You kids back for more eh? I thought you lot died guess I'm getting sloppy."
"This isn't the same as it was last time Tao." Zatanna replied.
"Oh really what changed?" Tao asked mockingly.
"This!" Goku responded as he fazed behind Tao and kicked him in the back oft of the head sending his sprawling towards the other three who quickly took turns smacking him back as Tao swung around wildly in hopes of stopping them but again was thwarted as Goku punched him in the gut causing him to cough up blood as he staggered forward before recovering and jumping back in fear.
"B-but how?" Tao asked scared.
"Training." Goku replied simply.
Tao snarled in anger as he readied a grenade and threw it at the group however Goku kicked it back into his face causing it to blow up and send him flying far away seemingly to die from what they could tell.
"Woah that escalated fast." Zatanna stated surprised.
"He really resorted to a grenade? You hit him in the head harder than I thought Goku." Diana joked.
"Yeah he had an attack that could outmatch a moon destroying attack but he used a random grenade? I don't think he's dead to be honest." Krillin added.
"Could of been a special grenade." Zatanna replied jokingly.
"Guys the dragon balls are in this bag he dropped!" Goku exclaimed as he pulled each of them out.
"Good now let's go after the red ribbon army and finish them off for good we'll find the last dragon ball's and then we'll bring Upa'a dad back." Krillin said.
"Alright then let's go!" Goku said as he summoned Nimbus again as the group hopped on and flew out towards red ribbon headquarters.
Age 750 (Red Ribbon Army Headquarters.)
"What's taking Tao so long? He already got the dragon balls and dealt with the kids." Commander Red said impatiently.
"Most likely just running late." Staff officer black replied.
Ra's al Ghul meanwhile looked a bit uneasy he had already sent his other warriors back home to their own base with only a few assassins staying back with him.
"Has he somehow failed?" The elite assassin asked.
"Impossible he already showed their bodies." Red replied.
Ra's al Ghul sighed "Said bodies have few actual wounds they very well could have been knocked out he may not have checked after all."
Commander Red frowned thoughtfully until a woman burst into the room she had short purple hair a green shirt and brown jeans and red boots carrying a dragon ball in hand.
"I've found one of the dragon balls and brought it here as you ordered." Violet said giving Red the dragon ball.
"Very good now as soon as we find the last dragon ball we'll rule the world!"
The group of them now at ease chatted a bit about how they'd get the next dragon ball and finalize their plans until the base shook as an explosion rung out.
"What's happening?" Staff officer black asked as he steadied himself.
Ra's furrowed his brows in annoyance as another explosion rung out.
Colonel Violet then checked the cameras and her eyes widened in shock "Those kids their tearing apart the base!"
"W-what!" Commander Red yelled as they all looked at the cameras watching as the quartet of young warrior's tore through their army like a knife through butter bullets bouncing off them without leaving a dent swords were parried and mechs were blown to pieces as they watched as the teens got closer and closer.
Until the wall to the side of them burst open and the four warriors burst through ready for battle Colonel Violet aimed her gun at them but she was swiftly knocked out by a spell from Zatanna they then regarded the three remaining adults who shuddered at the thought of facing them.
'To think I'm feeling fear facing down children.' Ra's al Ghul thought but he knew deep down that they were out of their depth but alas Ra's al Ghul snatched a Ki ring of Red's desk and put it on ready to fight as he drew his sword and pointed it at them.
"You have impressed me thus far but your rampage ends now!" The aged assassin said as his blade glowed blue and an arc of Ki shot out of it forcing them to dodge.
Ra's al Ghul then charged at the girl wearing armour and from his Hundreds of years of life he recognised the armour of an Amazonian any day and a royal set at that.
"Come on them Amazonian show me what you've got!" The assassin challenged Diana eagerly excepted said challenge as the two engaged in a duel of swordsmanship.
"Protect me!" Commander Red yelled as he ran away in fear forcing Staff officer black to protect him however he had no chance against Goku Krillin and Zatanna all at once and he was quickly left sprawled out on the floor.
Ra's al Ghul and Diana's swords clashed each blocking each other's attempted strikes but Ra's al Ghul having lived hundreds of years began to gain the upper hand landing a glancing strike on the Princess causing her to flare up her own Ki and finally utilize it in their fight as her sword glowed blue like the assassin's and she overpowered him once again as she sliced his sword in half leaving him open to another strike as he was sent rolling across the floor a cut on himself although it was already starting to regenerate.
"Your not to bad but next time hoe about you don't chest with that ring?" Diana said pointing her blade at him as she prepared for a knockout.
However the assassin was one step a head as he smashed a smoke bomb on the floor slipping out as the group coughed up smoke he then slunk his way towards the exit where Commander Red was cowering in fear.
Ra's Al Ghul smirked scornfully as he took in Red's pitiful shape "So you turn tail and run at the first sign of trouble? Some partnership we had."
"I'm not a fighter you know that!" Red retorted backing up a bit.
"That's not the problem my issue is that I spent the leagues resources on a bunch of failed missions due to your incompetence!"
"We almost took over the world even without the wish what do you mean incompetent?" Red replied.
"Key word almost besides I already know why you really anted those dragon balls you wanted to be taller right?"
Commander Red gulped in fear as Ra's al Ghul drew a knife "Well in that case I'll gladly mount your head nice and high so you can get those precious centimetres you want!"
Red's screams were heard by no one as the assassin made quick work of the former commander.
"Tch what a waste of my time all of this time for a screw up." Ra's Al Ghul sighed as he walked off to the car he had parked waiting for him was his driver.
"You ready to go my lord?" The driver asked.
"Yes let's leave this place I'm sure as hell no working with any of these fools again."
