I flinch hearing the door slam open "Beca-bear come give your favorite aunties some love, we ain't leaving for a whi.. damn did you start a hot chick cult?"
Looking at the entrance I see Aunt Hope holding three bags with Aunt Rose pouting "Hey guys" I say laughing nervously.
"What the hell is that egg?" Aunt Hope asks dropping her bags.
I look at Lily who holds it close "My baby" she hisses rushing out.
Aunt Hope frowns looking at me "Beca what have you gotten into? Did that German get you involved in something illegal?"
I groan rubbing my face "Not involved in anything illegal".
"So it's a cult," she says nodding like that makes perfect sense "Just don't be a suicide cult and we will support it," she says sitting by me and pulling Aunt Rose with her.
Lily comes up behind them sniffing "Beca why is this chick smelling us?" Rose asks.
I groan grabbing Lily and pull her away "It's a method acting thing she's a cat," I say not looking at them as I try to restrain Lily.
"Still a bad liar, so where's the German? I wore my good boots to kick her ass" Hope says.
"Emily come get Lily" I call out loudly.
Felix comes jogging in out of breath bent over "Beca, Aubrey and Chloe are here".
I groan standing up dragging Lily with me and hand her to Felix "Deal with that one, I'll deal with them".
Looking up I see Iris and CR gone and groan "Damn it, a fucking crazy shit storm now".
Walking out I see them duck around the back of the house and hear screaming, I turn running threw the house out the back door ignoring my aunts' calls.
"Damn it Nix what are you doing?" I say loudly ignoring Iris who has lost her human look, sneering at Aubrey.
"They are trespassing on my baby's territory, they are threats that must be eliminated".
"So fucking glad this house is in the fucking woods" I groan at the volume of her voice.
"You can't kill them Nix it would draw attention to us".
"Then they go missing," she says glaring at them.
"Holy shit it's the snake thing, Beca what's going on" Aunt Rose demands.
"We can deal with what's going on after I deal with this shit show," I say moving to Nix.
"They can not go missing Nix, it would still lead back to us and cause problems," I say calmly.
"We are Beca's friends you freak, now let us go" Chloe screams at Nix who glares at me.
"They are not my friends Nix, I thought they were at one point but they showed their true colors".
"They can not leave with knowledge of our world," Nix says.
Flo sighs at the door "Fine I'll handle it, no memory of this bullshit, send Pieter with us for
muscle" I nod as CR ties them up putting their ascots in their mouth and putting tape over them.
I watch as they lead them off to the woods with two extra wolves I know are Mathilda and Gisela, I then sigh rubbing my face "Okay one problem down a million more to go".
"Nix in the house please your actions have caused problems, Iris I understand you are pissed over Aubrey messing with Stac but get in the house too".
They nod heading in and I grab my Aunts leading them in as well, reaching the living room I see Iris on the floor by Nix as she's coiled up with her arms crossed.
"Iris is something wrong?" I ask confused.
"I need time to rebuild my human form, I didn't want to ruin the couch I am very heavy like this," she says calmly.
I nod "Do you need something to sit on you look uncomfortable like that?"
"A large pillow would be nice please," she says nodding.
I nod walking to the sun room dragging two large dog beds and stacking them, Nix sighs wrapping her tail around her lifting Iris onto the beds, I watch her move till she's on her side laying down with her head propped up on her hand.
"OK, so Aunt Rose, Aunt Hope I'm kinda part of the supernatural world, Nix is the Lamia from my room as a baby please don't be aggressive about this".
Rose nods rubbing her face and groans "How do you kinda become part of the supernatural world? Where did you meet her? You need to start explaining shit now Beca".
I nod explaining about Lily and changing me and my changing Emily up to returning from Germany "I'm not clear on Iris, I just know she's Stacie's girlfriend".
"What about Nix what is her deal?" Rose demands.
"I don't know something about a child bond, she has a paternal bond with me and sees me as her baby she kept the dangerous supernaturals away from me growing up.
"They are not going to kill those girls right?" Aunt Hope asks.
"No, the witch will make them forget seeing supernaturals and make them leave with no desire to return here," Nix says glaring out the window.
"Why do you call Beca your baby?" Aunt Rose asks.
"She is my baby, my child by bond and birth you and your sister are descent from me but had no supernatural traits. Beca was born and called to supernaturals unknowingly because she was unformed, many supernaturals look for unformed supernaturals to change like it's a contest. I stopped them all but allowed Lily because she did not care about changing an
unformed, she chose Beca for their friendship so she wouldn't be alone anymore, Beca was destined to be supernatural if she had never changed she would have become a Lamia like me but she was chosen by the last of the Royal feline line to help restart it by her friend. If she was given a choice she would pick Lily because they formed a sibling bond, I followed her to keep her safe, the Dhampir and Cambion helped keep other supernaturals away till thewolf" she hissed.
"What is she?" Rose asks motioning to Iris who seems asleep.
"I'm a Cecelia," she says in a monotone voice that seems to make everyone relax.
"She's like Ursula from The Little Mermaid," Stacie says happily reaching out to touch Iris's tentacle.
"Stacie water please and leave them alone," she says never opening her eyes.
"How much like Ursula are you?" Rose asks leaning forward.
"Cecaelia are called the ugly sisters of mermaids, I do not know the story of Ursula so I do not know".
"One story says she was the middle child of Poseidon with an older brother and younger sister the dad ignored her because she was evil but the mom encouraged it, she targeted her niece to take the kingdom from her brother. Another says she was the youngest of seven girls with a baby brother the dad hated her, and found her ugly for not being a mermaid, after years
of neglect and abuse by him and from the other mermaids he gave her a magic shell to ease his guilt, but she had grown to hate him and her sisters, she killed them took over and tortured the mermaids till her bother took everything and banished her to the abyss, so she
targeted his favorite daughter who was also his youngest daughter of seven, the more common one is she's a sea witch who tried to steal the throne from King Trident, he stopped her and banished her to the abyss later on she targets his youngest daughter to try to steal his power after using her power to give her legs to try to win a humans love in three days but after a close call she came on land as a human putting the man under a spell it ends with herdeath.
"Mermaids are assholes so I could see them abusing a Cecaelia child, we have at least four children each birth but mermaids have been known to have a Cecaelia, if we hear of this we offer to take the child for its safety, or will steal it if the parents abuse it. We do possess
powers unlike mermaids such as human form to walk among humans we can not give mermaids legs they can gain legs by leaving water and drying completely but it's permanent, our voice has the same effect as mermaids or sirens to lure in people or cause certain emotions, we use it when we are in danger. If we have to rebuild our human form we go into a relaxed meditation and our voice will force anyone near to relax and stay calm for our safety because on land out of our human form, we drag our bodies".
Stacie comes in with two large pitchers of water and Iris puts her hand in it then rubs it on her body sighing "Dear please get my back" she says, Stacie nods doing as she asks happily.
"Okay, so you're living with a group of supernaturals?" Aunt Rose asks looking at me.
I nod "Yes, mostly it's Emily, Lily, Gisela, Felix, Pieter, Mathilda, and myself we have talked and thought we would ask CR, Flo, Stacie, and Nix to move in with us".
"What was the egg?" Aunt Hope asks.
"A mimicker being reborn into a shifter, it's to be Lily and Emily's child," I say shrugging.
"What's a mimicker?"
"No one knows just a general understanding of what to expect. What were you going to tell me when you came in before all the crazy started?" I ask changing the subject.
"Um oh yeah, we'll be here a while Rose messed up the car," Hope says laughing.
"What this time and how bad?"
"She forgot to put it in the park we got out for a walk at the lake and the car went off the cliff into the deep part".
