Aunt Rose sits near Nix looking at her scales and talking to her while Aunt Hope sits by me showing me photos and videos from the trip "Look at this shit they staked a dead body, I'm pretty sure a real vampire wouldn't get back in it's grave, it would get the hell out of there".

She swipes showing a large castle-like mansion "Oh this was pretty cool they claim the people in there is a giant vampire and her daughters are witches, we went up there because there was a sign that said the vineyard offered wine tasting but it was the off-season. The owner of the house and vineyard gave us a tour and we even got to try some wine with her and her daughters, the owner was tall I'd say over six foot, her daughters were almost as tall as her she had one who reminded us of you she was sarcastic and neutral to everything, her youngest was an energetic thing funny too, the oldest seemed to try to act like her mother, we bought some wine it's in the bag for you".

"More stuff from the travels to add to my horde" I smirk.

She huffs pushing me "You love our gifts so stop playing and it's a good thing we thought to buy Emily and Lily something since they are family now" She says and swipes the photo showing a Victorian-style mansion "Now this was another house we seen the lady at the vineyard insisted we visit, it's her sister's house she makes dolls, like real old fashioned dolls by hand even handcrafts the clothes herself and sells them we bought you three one and even Blondie".

I nod smiling as she talks about the trip "Did you ever make it to that castle you planned to see?"

"Yes we did it was amazing we even met a woman who is descent from him," she says showing more photos.

"meine Maus they have left," Mathilda says coming in pulling her shirt down.

Aunt Hope locks her phone standing up and stretches as Mathilda walks over "Alright blondie I got my ass-kicking boots on, let's step outside" she says grabbing her arm pulling her with her, I sigh shaking my head.

"Hope do not kick my mate's ass" I call out hearing her laugh "Beca mind your own business, I gotta lay down the law for the German".

I snort seeing the pack/pride look unsure of what to do "She's not gonna do anything, she just wants to give the whole hurt her I'll hurt you crap parents give and try to scare her a little".

They nod relaxing then I frown not seeing Emily "Um where's Emily?"

Nix points to her coiled-up body never pausing her conversation, getting up to look I see Emily curling up as a panther sleeping in it purring with her little puppy by her.

I reach out to grab her and Nix slaps my hand then points to the couch.

I move back sitting down seeing one of Emily's long legs going into the air stretching with her claws coming out before it goes limp and bent slightly.

"She's spoiled," Stacie says from her spot behind, Iris who still looks asleep.

I nod smiling "Lily is too" I mumble then notice the little mouse ball rolling in front of me I reach down and pick it up "Hey Kommissar did Lily let you out?" I ask opening the ball.

I reach in pulling her out and petting her "Is that the mouse the wolf spoke of?"

I nod smiling "Yes this is my Kommissar".

"Bring it here let me look," she says.

I nod walking over and hold the mouse in my hand, Nix reaches out and pets it "I guess I can see how mice are a little cute" she mumbles.

Three days later

I stretch moving to the kitchen while yawning and see Rose watching Lily with her coffee "It's

normal it's why we have so many".

"Aubrey and Chloe have eloped and gotten married," Lily says sleepily.

That's cool I guess?"

"Flo may have used her influence to make them both give into their biggest desire".

I nod making my coffee "Where's everyone?"

"Hope and Mathilda are having a bromance they are about to leave, Lily and Emily are catching a ride with them to meet with Emily's mother, I think Nix is trailing them she's very attached to Emily, they asked me to watch the baby," she says pointing to the egg in a blanket nest on the table as I hear everyone rushing out "the two who took the girls off left to do something, the octopus lady and the tall hot one went out to do something I didn't ask she was all over the octopus, two other germans went off to the woods and the tall male German said something about shopping".

I nod "A bromance?"

"Yes, Hope kept talking about how cool she was" Rose says laughing "I find it funny when you mentioned dating her Hope was pissed, plotting ways to hide her body, insisting she couldn't be good enough for you and that she would have to kill her and hide the body, because she just knew she would hurt you and now they are actively acting like best friends".

I smile shaking my head "To be fair she's normally been right about me dating someone".

"True I think the fact Nix confirmed when mated that she would rather die than hurt you has

helped ease some of her fears".

I frown seeing the egg moving slightly, reaching out I touch it "Your mommas ain't home baby let me call them" I whisper pulling my phone out .

After two rings I hear an answer "The egg has movement, I don't know if it's hatching".

"Not time yet still has a month or more, I asked Iris but it will have movement" Lily says.

"Okay good I didn't want you two missing it hatching, how's things going with her mom?" I ask knowing how My aunt and Mathilda drive.

"She's upset over The Bellas and mad about how Emily was treated but also mad Emily didn't stay threw what she calls hazing" Lily mumbles.

"It wasn't hazing it was abuse and they kicked her out she didn't leave by choice" I hiss.

"Yeah I think we are about to leave" Lily says then hangs up, I sigh putting my phone away.
