"This makes no sense Nix, what is she talking about?" I demand getting no response I look at Iris "Someone better answer me".

"Medusa tried to unite all types but she failed she swore someone else would come along and do this, it seems you're the one predicted to finish her mission it seems fitting your a descent of hers" Iris says sounding amazed.

I scoff walking back to the woods needing to calm down, I shift ripping my clothes and take off running 'I just want to enjoy my life with my mate and pride'.

I yowl sliding into a cave that suddenly appears as I slide trying to stop, my feet twist up and I

roll landing in front of a woman looking up I see tan skin and snakes for hair.

"Hello kitten"

'I don't want to do this I just want to live a life with my pride' I hiss getting up.

"Did you know when someone dies they are reborn later and always reconnect with important souls from past lives, they never remember it but have moments of deja Vu".

I glare at her as she moves around pulling out paintings and photos "It happens over and over if they have a destiny they will complete it when everything lines up correctly, do you know why Medusa tried to unite all creatures?" I huff watching her refusing to answer her.

"It was her destiny same as yours, you share it because your soul was her during her life, you and your pride have met many times in the past always reconnecting because you're souls recognize each other, this is the third time all have been part of the supernatural world because of that it lines up correctly to finish your destiny".

"And if I refuse to complete it?"

She gives a sad smile "the first time you tried it ended in your death, the second time you refused" she holds a painting out to me showing creatures slaughtered "It ended with your pride being slaughtered by others who did not like that it was a mixed pride, and now you're back, a mixed pride that's not complete you are missing members, the question you should be asking is are you willing to risk it again?"

I huff looking away from her, she hums digging out a black and white photo then sits by me "this is your full pack as humans your looks are always similar just slight changes".

Looking at it I frown seeing everyone but a few I don't recognize right away "Take this and choose what path you will follow".

Three months later

Iris insisted that we come with her to the beach for some reason after the sun went down, she went in the water and swam away after we agreed to wait for her.

Stacie giggles sitting by me and Mathilda "Any idea what she's doing?" I ask her.

"No but I'm excited".

Nodding I look back to the water sighing "Lily stop licking that shell".

I hear everyone chuckle as Lily looks at me with her tongue out about to lick it again with a confused look on her face.

Hearing splashing I watch as Iris comes crawling out with a huge smile as Flo flinches looking away from her.

A second body comes up behind her a tall dark skinned woman completely naked with black hair braided to her waist, Stacie jumps up tossing a towel and swim suit to the woman as Iris focuses on reforming her human body "Why have you asked me to come here Iris?" The woman asks tossing the swim suit down.

"Nova I'd like to introduce you to my family that my lovely mate has given me this is Mathilda and Becca the leaders" Iris says motioning to us.

Nova sniffs slightly looking at us then everyone else "Strange group you have all mixed together, that is not safe".

I stand up dusting my shorts off "we've been told that many times but I'm still not sure why Iris asked us to come" I say then frown seeing she looks similar to one of the women I didn't know in the photo.

"She is the one Medusa spoke of Nova" Iris says pulling on a swim suit sighing.

"You changed back faster" I snark crossing my arms.

"I did not rip my way out of my human form so it was easier to reform" she says waving me off.

"She can not be the one, she is feline" Nova says sounding bored.

"No, it was confirmed she is Medusa's very great granddaughter a child of snakes".

I frown watching as they argue with each other "How did two Bates have babies when they where the same gender before humans found a way to help?" Lily asks calmly.

We all freeze and look at her before Nova laughs "I like that one she's funny" she says laughing.

"They went to someone else to help normally a male Beta if they were female or a female beta if they were males, if they needed a female she stayed with them till the child no longer needed her to feed, it depended on the agreement they made together why do you ask?" Nova says sounding amused.

Lily shrugs going back to watching Emily and the baby and Nova frowns looking at the baby "Was that a mimic?"

Lily nods happily "Our son Lee he picked us" she says proudly.
