Cane Fixing Going Mojo Crazy!
The scene shows Anne and Sprig looking through some of the stuff from her backpack because Sprig had been very curious about the things humans have and what they do for those human needs back in their home world.
"Wow, Anne, look at all your cool stuff! What's this? Ah, I get it. Torture device." Sprig asked as he picked up an item.
"That's a toenail clipper." Anne answered.
"Oh, okay, okay, sure. Oh! How about this? What does this do?" Sprig picked up another object which is a bike pump and put the tube into his mouth hurt him in the inside of his mouth. "It's painful."
"Oh, and this!" Sprig picked up a pen and start clicking the top like crazy, suddenly finding himself to be addicted to it. "Oh, I love this. This is amazing."
"You know what? You can keep it." Anne believed that Sprig isn't going to give back the pen.
Then the sound of the bell clanging can be heard from upstairs.
"Kids! Chow time!" Hop Pop called out.
"Alright, Crash! It's time to get some food in our bellies!" Anne called out to her crazy boyfriend, but he didn't respond which is a shock to her.
Crash is currently sitting on the mattress and looking at his family's tiki necklace, remembering how it grew big and took control of that giant snake, he never knew the little tiki could do that nor did his grandfather told him since he seems to know more about it.
"Babe, you still thinking about what happened the other day?" Anne asked, Crash nodded.
"Man, I've never seen you this curious before nor looking a little worried. But hey, whatever is going on with this crazy little thing, I'm sure we can figure it out together." Anne believed.
Crash gibberish to Anne about his curiosity that he can do something with this tiki.
"Pretty sure the way you controlled that snake like a video game, maybe it's something only you can do like… being the chosen one!" Anne said, trying to make the last part dramatic.
It would be cool to be a "Chosen One" in a big adventure like this one and would love nothing more than to do it with his beloved Anne, but that still leaves the question of what exactly this tiki is, and what other secrets it holds.
"Now come on, we're having food and I know you like to eat anything put in front of you!" Anne tickled his stomach making him laugh.
Crash couldn't deny that and counters with some kissing on her cheek before the couple went upstairs hearing the two kids shouting "Time to eat! Time to eat!" repeatedly.
Hop Pop finishes making the food for lunch and puts down the plates, and Anne immediately becomes disgusted at how the food looks like something that was vomited and mix in with some other stuff that only made things worse.
"Ugh! Uh, you know what? I think I'm gonna pass." Anne gently pushed her plate to Crash who has already eaten the food and took her plate.
"Why? Is my food not good enough for the princess?" Hop Pop asked with a little teasing.
"Well, if I'm the princess, then you're the king of bad cooking." Anne countered with a chuckle, Sprig and Polly went "Ooh" of how Anne just said it.
"Oh, yeah? Well, you... I..." Hop Pop tried to counter, but Anne cut him off.
"What's the matter, Hop Pop? Frog in your throat?" Anne joked.
"Oh, dang it! You know what? I'm gonna take a nap." Hop Pop tossed his spoon down and leaves the table.
"I don't believe this. I feed you, I house you, and this is how you repay me? If you don't shape up soon, Anne, I'm throwin' you out!" Hop Pop threatened as he went to his room and slams the door that causes the vested plant to fall.
Crash asks why Hop Pop was mad because he was still eating and not paying attention.
"I don't know, we were just playing around and then he goes like "I'm Hop Pop, and I cook bad and have a temper problem!"." Anne imitated as Hop Pop which got the three laughing.
"That's so Hop Pop!" Sprig pointed out.
Anne decided to play like Hop Pop in a funny way a little longer as she took his cane.
"Eat your aphids, don't play with them. Elbows off the table!" Anne acted like Hop Pop is complaining right now, making the others laugh even harder.
"Sometimes I wonder why I even bother putting up with you at all!" Anne laughed and swung the cane onto the table for a bang.
However, the down swing was harder than anyone expected, and the cane broke off which causes Sprig and Polly to gasp while Crash is looking a little worried.
"Oopsies. Guess I don't know my own strength, right, guys?" Anne asked chuckling, but the two frog siblings are silent with their mouths open.
Crash waves his hands in front of their eyes while wondering why they are shocked like that and ask Anne that.
"I don't know, they're just being weird right now." Anne shrugged.
"You guys okay? What's the big deal? It's just one cane." Anne asked.
"That wasn't just any cane. It was Hop Pop's special cane, passed down from his father, Hop Poppity Pop, all the way from his father, Hop-and-Lock-Drop Soppity Pop." Sprig explained and showed her the pictures of Hop Pop and his father and grandfather.
This causes Crash Anne to gasp upon realizing how special this cane really is.
"Oh! You guys gotta help me. He's gonna kick me out the second he finds out about this. I cannot go back to living in a cave!" Anne panicked a little.
Crash goes to hug his girlfriend, remembering how hard it was for her to adjust to being out in the wild even though he was there to protect her and promised her that they wouldn't go through that again.
"Don't worry, Anne. We'll do whatever it takes to help you." Sprig promised, not wanting to lose one of her human friends.
"Eh, count me out." Polly uninterested in this.
"Polly!" Spirg gasped. He couldn't believe how heartless his own little sister is being right now.
"What? I hardly know those two." Polly stated.
But then Crash gets an idea as he pulls out a candy bar and shows it to Polly to convince her to help them.
"Candy from another world? Dude, you've got yourself a deal." Polly accepted the candy deal and Crash cheerfully shouts.
They try putting the cane by together with some smelly gob from Hop Pop's lunch and tying it up with Polly's bow, it looks like this was gonna work until the upper half of the cane fell off and Crash babble about getting so help.
"You're right, Crash. We need help to fix this, someone good with wood." Anne said, not sure of where to find someone.
"Crash! You're a genius!" Sprig hopped onto Crash smiling.
"We'll just take it to Leopold Loggle, the woodsmith. He loves wood. Almost a little too much." Sprig mentioned about a woodsmith frog.

The gang make their way to Loggle and show them the broken cane to have him take a look.
"…" Loggle inspected the broken piece, finding this to be very fascinating.
Loggle is a light blue axolotl with dark blue gills. He has two small white tufts of hair on the side of his head and a large white mustache. He has a light green tongue. He wears a pair of goggles that wrap around his head. The left lens is clear while the right lens is green with three small settings on it, similar to a microscope. He wears a beige shirt, a brown work apron, and grey boots. To top it off, he wears a red bandana around his neck.
"Can you fix it?" Anne asked.
"As a matter of fact, I can... not." Loggle answered.
"Huh. Can you make a new one?" Sprig asked.
"Absolutely... no way." Loggle shook his head.
"Do you have one we could buy?" Polly asked, feeling a little annoyed at the way Loggle answer.
"Of course, I do... n't. I don't." Loggle said, doing the weird pause thing again.
"Why do you keep doing that? My boyfriend here gets very confused from that." Anne asked while Crash looked confused as well.
"Old smithing accident. You don't want to know." Loggle said.
But just as Anne was about to ask if there's another way to replace the cane, Loggle suddenly goes into his story about the accident.
"Tripped on an anvil. Landed neck-first on a metal pipe. Pierced my voice box clean through!" Loggle pulled down his bandana to show his scar which freaks the girls out, but Sprig and Crash comments that it's cool.
"Switched over to wood after that. Anyhow, I'm afraid I can't do much for you. That cane was made with wood from the incredibly rare, extremely dangerous Doom Tree!" Loggle showed them a book with the page of the Doom Tree causing the kids to gasp.
"Few have made it to the Doom Tree alive, fewer yet returned. It holds many secrets that mortals dare not—" But Anne cuts him off.
"Dude, it's a tree. Just tell us where it is." Anne demanded.
"Yeah, Loggle, cut the chitchat!" Sprig said.
"You're bald!" Polly yelled while Crash blew a raspberry spit.
"Okay, okay. I got a map to the Doom Tree right here, but it'll cost ya." Loggle showed them the map.
"Click." Anne took the picture of the map with her phone and show this to Loggle.
"Or you could do that for free." Loggle surprised of this.
"Come on, guys. We gotta hurry. Hop Pop could wake up at any second!" Anne said and everyone ran out of the store, but Sprig came back in.
"Whoa, Loggle. We gotta talk about this, man. We're comin' back. We're gonna talk about this. All right, good-bye." Sprig pointed at the wooden statue of Loggle with big muscles.
(One Long Journey Later)
The group went through the forest following the map on Anne's phone, even swimming through a little lake, Crash carrying Anne on his back while enjoying himself to feel his girlfriend on his body.
A big bug came in suddenly to attack the group, but Crash jumps to throw a strong kick in the face and right between the eyes sending it back and flying away.
The group kept walking until Anne stop them.
"Hold up. We're here." Anne held up her phone to see the picture of the Doom Tree, then look ahead to see the real tree itself.
"Now, that is an ugly tree." Anne commented and Crash made a gag expression.
"Just one of Mother Nature's horrible mistakes." Sprig pointed out.
The group walk up to the tree while passing by some old bones of the frogs who have come here before them and have died in this very ground.
"Frogs died here." Polly joked, but Crash gave her a quick glare with a shook of his head.
"What?" Polly confused.
"Crash doesn't like the dead being disrespected like that." Anne revealed as she looks at the tree.
"Look. That branch is perfect." Anne said as the three climbs up the tree while Polly stayed behind due to not having any legs.
"You people and your legs." Polly said.
The three grabs onto the branch together, getting ready to pull.
"Careful. The tree is cursed." Anne joked, causing the three to laugh together.
"Okay, seriously though, on three. One, two..." They ripped the branch right off from the tree, and suddenly a loud shrieking sound was heard.
Crash gibberish if the tree just screamed, but then he felt his instincts telling him to get off the tree now, and he did just that as he grabs onto Anne and Sprig as he lands next to Polly.
The tree started moving until six legs came out and the long branches form like they were sharp crab-like claws, and now the Doom Tree has revealed itself to be a deadly tree bug as it shrieks again with brown drool-like drops from its mouth came out.
"Oh, hey, it's maple." Sprig said after licking it.
"RUN!" Anne screamed and they run away from the scary bug tree.
The bug tree monster chase after them trying to kill them with its arms though they were already ahead to be out of its arms' range.
"That thing is not a tree. It's some kind of grody bug!" Anne pointed out.
"A bug that wants to kill us!" Sprig added.
"Less talky-talky, more runny-runny!" Polly yelled.
Crash looks back at the tree bug monster and looks down at his tiki necklace, thinking back on how it changed his life with the power to control any big creatures, but he's not sure if he can pull that off again when it was the first.
But he knew if he doesn't do something right now, then everyone here is going to get hurt.
Crash yells a little to Anne about his idea to face the monster bug to see if he can try out that power again.
"What?! Crash, that's crazy! Even if you try using that mask power again, there's no way to know for sure if you can do it right now!" Anne stated.
The gang quickly jumps down and hid behind a big log as the tree bug monster search around.
Crash babble to Anne that he has to try or else they'll die.
"Whatever he just said! I say he should go for it, so that bug monster doesn't kill us!" Sprig begged while Crash flexes his arms to show he's strong enough to fight the big bug.
Anne didn't like the idea, but she knew they were right, and she had to let Crash go.
"Okay, you can go, but if things get too shit then we're running back home. Got it?" Anne asked, Crash nodded and gave her a quick kiss on the lips.

Crash jumps over the log and made a loud scream getting the tree bug monster's attention.
The tree bug monster screams and charges at Crash who in return charges at the bug, he dodges one attack from the arm and jumps to punch the center of the body with a kick and another. The tree monster roars as it tries to grab him with its pinchers only to miss on each attempt.
Crash grabs onto one arm to pull the upper half down making the Doom Tree bug pull its arm to get it away from the boy, and his foot slip getting himself being pulled and swing around.
"Crash!" Anne worried.
But Crash isn't done as he lets go and perform a midair combo with a few punches and kicks, then stomp on the bug's face to launch himself in the air and pull out his tiki mask with his courage and strong feelings to protect Anne and those frog kids in his wild way possible.
The mask glow golden again and grew just like before, which Crash was glad it worked and quickly slams the mask onto the bug monster to be control from the user.
Crash screams in victory with the Doom Tree bug raising its arms in the movement of the wild boy.

"Great! Now we just need to bring the branch and Hop Pop won't know about his cane… Oh no! Where's the branch?" Anne freaked out as she noticed the branch isn't with them anymore.
Crash looks around but couldn't find it and figure it must've been scattered from all the commotion.
"Oh great, now what we're gonna do?" Anne asked, worried they're gonna be kicked out.
Crash had the Doom Tree bug to knock itself out and jump to his girlfriend, assuring that things are going to be alright.

"Whoa, boy. I needed that. Hope nothing happened while I was asleep to make me mad again." Hop Pop exited his bedroom cracking his neck.
"Oh no… What did you do?" Hop Pop asked, seeing the kids being a little dirty.
"I'm really sorry, Hop Pop. I was goofing around, and I broke your favorite cane." Anne confessed the crime and show him the broken cane, much to his shock.
Crash starts gibbering to Hop Pop.
"He said he hopes that you'll reconsider kicking us out." Anne translated for her boyfriend.
"Anne, truth be told, I was never gonna throw you out. I was just talking tough so that you'd show me a little bit more respect." Hop Pop confessed as well.
"That's kinda messed up, man." Anne commented.
"Yeah. I probably was a little bit too harsh. But I only did it because you remind me of myself when I was your age. Rough around the edges." Hop Pop chuckled.
"Now, you two aren't going anywhere. Not when you two still seem like good kids, a little." Hop Pop stated that those two are staying. This made Anne and Crash really happy.
"Yay! I like it!" Sprig cheered as he hugs Anne.
"Yeah! I wasn't worried." Polly proclaimed.
"Thanks, Hop Pop. So, you're not mad about the cane?" Anne asked.
"Oh, I'm furious about the cane. You're on dish duty for a month!" Hop Pop yelled.
"Ugh. Yes, sir!" Anne accepted the punishment, and everyone laughs together and have a happy moment.
"Now that that's settled, I wrote a long list of comebacks to get you back for this morning. "Hey, Anne, is that your hair, or is it a dandelion?" Ha. Uh- Oh. Are those long, lanky limbs, Anne, or are those, uh, twigs? Ah!" Hop Pop mocked failing which the others aren't impress by this.
Crash just gave Hop Pop a thumbs down.

That episode sure was crazy when Anne broke the cane and they had to go get a new one only to discover they were getting it from a big bug monster, but it looks like Crash was able to use his mysterious power again to save them. But not to save them from Hop Pop's horrible comeback.
