On the field, Izuku had made his way to the other team's goal and with one last step, swung his lacrosse stick. He flickered the ball forward, managing to get right past the goalie's mask. Izuku exhaled, and the heat was starting to come back up, he thought he had cooled off enough, but as the crowd continued to cheer he felt his breath become laboured. It wasn't an asthma attack, it didn't feel like one. No, it felt like it was being held back. Izuku had proved he was strong enough, so why didn't he prove how strong he could be?

Izuku walked back to his starting position and the defender heard his laboured breath, sounding more and more like a growl.

"You're quirk on the fitz or something. You sound like a wild animal." The defender said.

"I'm fine," Izuku said in his best relaxed tone, but it was still strained. He was going to prove how strong he was, prove that the bite was a gift and that no lowly hunter had a chance against him. That the supernatural was better than the kind of quirk that could exist.

With the blowing of a whistle, Izuku reacted. His stick was immediately up and he caught the ball that was thrown to him. Izuku took a chance to look up at his lacrosse stick, how did he even know that the ball was being thrown at him? A question to answer later, as the moment Izuku's mind registered he had the ball, he took off.

His defender, not wanting to get caught in a wild animal attack, wisely stepped back and got out of the way. With that Izuku's mind solely became focused on getting to the goal. As he made it to the line of in-field defenders, Izuku felt his vision go blurry. No not blurry, it was becoming more clear, but with that Izuku felt his mind begin to become more animalistic. He could feel the want to attack someone starting to rise.

Why was he playing lacrosse, it was a stupid game anyway. No one was allowed to show how strong they were, Izuku was the strongest on the field and he was done hiding it. Izuku's focus climbed from the three defenders holding their ground to see what Izuku was going to do, to the goalie that waited in front of Izuku's goal.

But why should he care about a goal? The only important thing was to hunt and survive. And he had the perfect prey right in front of him.

Izuku shook his head to get that thought of his head as he tightly gripped his stick. No, he won't just attack everyone, then his dream would come true. He couldn't just kill everyone, if nothing else to save Momo from having to kill him. No this was his power, his gift, he didn't belong to his strength, the strength belonged to him. But it was getting harder to control it, to cage the beast.

Then in the middle of all the cheering, Izuku heard a single voice. It was Momo's and she was yelling, "Shoot the ball, Izuku. Shoot it and win the game."

Izuku was sure he hadn't actually heard Momo call him by his first name, but it was enough to clear Izuku's mind. He was able to focus on the game and have fun playing it. And he was going to win. With a single step, four people ran. Izuku ran towards the goal, while the three defenders moved to block him.

Izuku went between the middle and right defender, sliding under their sticks. Then as Izuku came up, he planted his feet and threw the lacrosse ball as hard as he could. He didn't care about aiming, as he knew with the strength he was throwing, the ball was going to go into the net.

The away team goalie moved to catch the ball and he did, but then the ball stretched the net of his stick to its full extent. Then to the goalie's surprise, the ball tore through the net and went into the net.

Izuku exhaled, but the heat didn't die down. It had a bit upon hearing Momo's voice, but it was roaring back to life. He was the strongest, he had enough strength to save everyone in the world. He wasn't bound to mortal strength even more. He could kill anyone he wanted to. Izuku then turned around to the three defenders and saved the look of surprise on their faces, and the heat quieted down a bit.

Izuku shrugged and said, "Guess your goalie had a weak stick." He then took off running. He ran off the field and towards the locker room.

Momo noticed and was excited for the date, she excused herself and hurried over to the locker room. As she entered the building she heard some laboured breath, but the moment she swung up the door, it disappeared. She then heard the sound of glass breaking. Momo took a small breath as she held her hand up to her chest.

"Midoriya, are you in here?" Momo asked as she looked around. The lights were turned off and barely any moonlight was coming through the window. Momo turned around the corner and saw a broken mirror. That must have been the sound she heard earlier, she slowly approached and was surprised there wasn't blood on any of the shards of glass. Then a high-pitched squeak echoed through the locker room, making Momo jump back and form a silver dagger in her hand.

Momo looked around and then her ears picked up on some little breathing coming from what looked like a shower room. Momo slowly crept over to the entrance, holding her dagger out in front of her. Momo looked around the shower and room and spotted Izuku leaning up against the corner.

"Midoriya," Momo called out to him, but Izuku didn't respond. Momo continued to slowly creep forward, until she was close enough to put a hand on his shoulder, "Midoriya."

Izuku suddenly and very quickly turned around, he swayed a bit and said, "Sorry, I got a bit light headed."

Worried Momo went into recon mode and asked,"Are you okay? Did you need an inhaler? I looked up the chemical formula online."

Storing the information that Momo had looked up on how to make an inhaler for him online for later, Izuku smiled and shook his head, "No, just the crowd got to me, first game coming back adrenaline rush and then dropping."

"Oh." Momo said, as she slid the silver dagger down her sleeve so Izuku didn't see it, "Are you still up for our date."

"Hey, just…." Izuku then recalled that he didn't have the clothes Kei had picked out for him, "Oh I forgot my change of clothes at home."

"That's fine, you can wear your regular clothes. I kind of find your kangji shirt funny." Momo said.

Izuku tried not to blush, as he headed over to his locker. Momo followed and as they got to his locker, Izuku spotted a note. He recognized his mother's handwriting and the note said, "You forgot these are home."

Izuku laughed and when Momo questioned it, he showed her the note. Already knowing what his mother was referring to, Izuku opened his locker and pulled out the grocery bag that had his green collared ship and fresh pair of jeans.

"I can get dressed, if you want to wait outside." Izuku said. And as it just now dawned on Momo where she was, she quickly straightened her back and headed out of the room. Izuku smiled as he sat down on the bench and began pulling off his equipment. As he pulled off his gloves, he felt there were holes in them. The holes that had previously been in there were even bigger and Izuku was sure it was from his hands transformed as well.

Izuku sighed as he threw the gloves down on the bench he knew he wouldn't be able to play with them, so he would just throw them away. Moving on, Izuku pulled off all his equipment and put them in his bag. Izuku then pulled off his shirt and slipped into the collar green shirt. After slipping into the fresh jeans, Izuku zipped the game clothes into a side pouch.

Izuku then slipped the strap of his bag over his shoulder and grabbed his gloves. He then walked out of the locker room and to the front of the building. As he walked through the front door, he tossed his gloves into the bin that was right outside. He then cleared his throat, getting Momo's attention.

Momo turned around and looked Izuku up and down, "You dress up very nicely."

"Thank you." Izuku said, allowing himself to blush, "We can stop by my mom's car to drop these off and then we can head to the arcade."

"Sure," Momo said as she slipped her arm within Izuku's, "By the way, Mio cancelled, she said Bakugo was acting on the bench and said he said that he was going home and going to bed."

Izuku laughed a bit, "Kacchan canceled because his shoulders are killing him. The other team was targeting him."

"Uh, I noticed but I just thought that it was part of the game." Momo said.

"Not exactly, but the other team knew about Kacchan's injuries and were trying to get him out of the game. Yet Kacchan's so stubborn, he probably would have continued to play even if he was missing a leg." Izuku said as they arrived at Inko's car and he dropped his bag into the backseat.

Momo gasped and said, "You're kidding, right?'

Izuku shook his head and said, "Someday Kacchan seems to be the living embodiment of stubbornness. Between Endeavour and Kacchan, it's Kacchan any day of the week."

As they walked into town, Izuku and Momo left the different troubles that were happening back at the Lacrosse field. Bakugo was one of the last players in the changing room, as he didn't want anyone to see how bad his shoulders were. They would worry and Bakugo didn't need anyone's worry.

So Bakugo waited until everyone had left, and then he headed into the changing room. He sat down on the bench in front of his locker and pulled his gloves off. After throwing the glove on the bench, he lifted his arms to pull off his jersey. But as Bakugo's hands got above his shoulder, his shoulder began to scream in pain. Bakugo clenched his jaw closed, at the pain and it didn't get any better he pulled his jersey above his head. Once Bakugo could, he threw the jersey away, and let his shoulders drop.

Bakugo had to take a few deep breaths to combat the pain radiating from his shoulder. Once Bakugo was able to push the pain to the back of his mind, he unclipped his shoulder and let it fall to the ground. But as the pad fell, Bakugo kind of missed the compression feeling they gave. Moving past, Bakugo kicked off his shoes and then walked to the shower.

As he waited for the water to warm up, Bakugo took off his undershirt and pants. He then slipped off the hot water and let it wash off all the sweat from his body, especially the copious amount that was sticking to his hands and forearm. He knew once he got home he would have to clean his gloves with the special detergent to get rid of the nitroglycerin, or risk exploding his gloves again.

That had happened a few times when Bakugo first started Lacrosse, and while he only had to do it occasionally after practice, he always had to after a game.

Once Bakugo was clean, he turned the water to cold and let his muscles recover a bit from all the running around and hits he had taken. Once Bakugo was sure his muscles wouldn't give out on him as he walked home, he turned off the water and dried himself off. He then walked back to the locker, where he changed into a pair of clean clothes.

Bakugo then slipped his shoes back on and shoved all his equipment into his bag. Gripping the handles of the bag, Bakugo stood up and walked to the entrance. He pushed the door open with his foot and stepping into the night took a deep breath. The breath seemed to fill him with enough energy to get home.

Bakugo was about to head out, but then he noticed something in the garbage bin that was right outside the door. Bakugo leaned over and pulled out a pair of gloves. They looked fine until Bakugo's focus fell on the tips of the fingers, only to find they had been punctured. As if someone had taken a knife to each of the fingers and stabbed them, yet the material wasn't ripped inside. It looked as if they had been cut from the inside.

Bakugo looked over the gloves, trying to find a name until on the inside of the wrist, he spotted a smudged, "M" "D" "OR" "A". It didn't take much brain power for Bakugo to fill in the missing letter as it was a name he had learned after his own and there was no other member of his team that had those letters for a last name.

"Deku!" Bakugo growled. He was right, something was going on with that damn nerd. Deku's sudden strength, speed, and reflexes, that nerd has been hiding a quirk of their whole life, just waiting to outshine Bakugo. Bakugo continued to growl as he shoved the gloves into a side pocket and began walking home.

When Bakugo got home, he kicked the front door open and yelled, "I'm f432king home."

"Why the hell are you yelling, you brat!" Mistuki yelled from upstairs.

"How did the game go?" Masura asked in a more calm voice.

"We totally crushed those damn losers." Bakugo yelled but didn't bring up the fact that he had nearly been benched and Deku was the reason they had won. "I'm going to bed."

"How's your shoulders? Do they feel like Sh432." Mistuki yelled.

"They're f432kng fine. I'm going to bed." Bakugo yelled back as he headed up the stairs to his bedroom. He tossed his equipment bag into the corner of his room, then flopped down onto his bed. He grunted a bit as it irritated his shoulder a bit, but he brutally forced his way through the pain and was soon asleep.

On the other side of the city, Kurami was being let out of jail. The marks on the body, found at his family's old house, were found to be made from an animal. So after gathering his effects, Kurami walked out in the front lobby, to find Chief Keitaro.

Chief Keitrao walked up to him and said, "You're being released, but know that we're going to be watching you. The body was found on your family's property, you might not have killed that girl, but you're tied to this somehow."

Kurami just looked at Chief Keitaro, who sighed and then held out a pair of keys, "We had a trailer pick it for you and left you some cash to fill it back." Kurami took the keys, "Take care."

Kurami just gave a small nod, then headed to the front parking lot, to find his black Camero waiting for him. Kurami walked to his car and unlocked the door. He then slipped in and as he closed the door, he noticed something sticking out of the visor. Kurami pulled the visor down and a folded-over stack of 100 yen bills fell into his lap. Kurami counted it out to be 5,000 yen and when he turned his car on, he saw it would be just enough to fill up the rest of his tank.

Kurami scoffed as he drove his car away from the police station. As he drove to the nearest gas station, Kurami rode down his window and focused on his sense of smell. It took a bit but he eventually picked up on Izuku's smell. Kurami checked the game and saw the lacrosse game would have been over for at least an hour, so at least Izuku was alive.

Kurami then picked on Momo's. So not only had Izuku not listened to his advice, he was actively going against it. That also told Kurami that Izuku was alive, but he might have shifted and was caught by the hunter or Izuku managed to control it enough to fly under the radar. Kurami focused back on Izuku's smell, it didn't feel stressed or in pain. But that could easily mean Izuku didn't know what was going on.

Kurami pulled away from that thought as he pulled into the gas station. He turned off his car and headed inside. He grabbed a bottle of Sakie and then headed to the desk. He put the bottle of alcohol on the counter and then slapped down the bills.

"Just this and the rest on pump 3." Kurami said.

"You got it people." The cashier said in a relaxed tone, that told Kurami that he was probably stoned out of his mind. And the smell of diluted trigger confirmed it.

Once the payment went through, Kurami took the receipt and the bottle of Sakie. He then headed out to pump his gas. After pulling out the nozzle, Kei hit the premium option and then put the nuzzle into the fuel tank. As Kurami waited for his car to fill, he heard two cars blazing at the gas station. Ten seconds later, two surburbans came into the station and boxed Kurami's car in.

Kurami wasn't surprised when Mr Yaoyrozu and four other hunters got out of the cars. If the hunters were focused on Kurami, then they weren't focused on Izuku. That meant they didn't know Izuku was a werewolf.

"You know when someone knows a car this old, they usually dedicated time, money and hard work to keep its performance in top shape." Mr Yaoyorozu said as he walked over to the front of Kurami's car.

Kurami looked over the hunters, five against one. Werewolf against five quirks, Kurami could smell the silver bullet loaded in their guns. Kurami looked back at Mr. Yaoyorozu, and said, "Are you sure you want to do this in the middle of this town? You're kind, just as hidden as mine. I'm sure the pro heroes won't approve of your methods."

"We fight different kinds of diseases, our's is more potent and our methods adapted as so." Mr Yaoyorozu said as he grabbed a windshield wiper and knocked off some of the clearing fluid. He then put it on Kurami's car's windshield and began wiping off some spatted flies, "Though I'm sure there is one thing you and I can agree on. That if you have something nice, meaningful in your life, you'll want to take care of it, protect it."

"By any means necessary?" Kuriam questioned.

"I know you would understand. Personally, I don't have many things that fit that status, but those few items that do. Well as you said, by any means necessary." Mr Yaoyorozu said as he began to squeegee the water off of the window, "And the means by which I do, I learn from my family. That's something you don't have much of these days."

At that comment, Kuriam closed his left fist, tightly. The one thing he could never stand for was the disrespect of his family. They had been peaceful living in their house, they never attacked anyone and gave back to their community in different ways. That was until some stupid hunter thought it would be wise to tip the balance that had lasted for five generations.

Mr Yaoyorozu noticed Kuriam's tight fist but made no movement of his weapon, though the hunters that came came with him. They noticed Mr Yaoroyozu's eye movement and reached for their own weapons. Sensing this Kuriam released his fist and Mr Yaoroyozu was surprised there wasn't any kind of blood that dripped off his fingertips.

"Well, there you have it. Same old instincts." Mr Yaoyoyozu said he finished with the windshield and put the washer down into its bucket, "You can see through your windshield. It's easier to see things when they become clearer."

Mr Yaoyorozu then began to walk back to his car but then Kuriam said, "You forgot to check the oil."

Mr Yaoyoyozu gave a fake laugh, he then turned back to Kuraim and said to one of the fellow hunters, "Check the man's oil. We don't want him running into a problem he can't handle."

The hunter smiled as he stepped up to the back window and rammed his elbow into the glass. But when the glass didn't break, the man pulled out his gun and tried to ram the butt through it. While the glass didn't break, it only slightly cracked.

"A gift from a friend." Kuriam said, "It helps to have those kinds of things around."

Mr Yaoyorozu smiled, he always liked having an opponent that was prepared. It made the hunt more fun. And it seemed Kuriam had been expecting this to happen for some time, though what kind of friend could Kuriam have that would provide such a gift? "Drive Safely." Mr Yaoyorozu said as he opened the door to his car and got in.

With the conversation over, the rest of the hunters got into their respective cars and drove off. Once Kuriam was alone, as if had been waiting for the tension to break, the gas pump suddenly stopped, signaling Kuraim his car was full. So he calmly pulled out the handle from the gas cap and slid it back into the station.

Kuriam then slipped into the driver's seat. As he turned up the car, he looked at the window and made a mental note to call his old friend to see if he could replace it. The friend had been gracious enough to give him the first pair of windows, but Kuriam was sure the friend would ask for something, most likely an IOU to have the window replaced. And knowing his friend, that IOU would result in something Kuraim didn't enjoy doing.

On the other side of town, Izuku and Momo were finishing up their date. Even if Mio and Bakugo had been there Izuku was sure he would still have enjoyed himself. Without those two being there, Izuku was having the time of his life. As planned they had gone to an arcade, where Izuku was able to show off his skills at the different machines. Before being a werewolf, Izuku was able to easily score high score points, his best being the skeeball, pinball and ring toss, but with his heightened senses, Izuku was racking up high scores left and right, easily earning a high amount of tickets per game.

However he had one fault and that was on the dancing games, as Momo had a better sense of rhyme than him. While Momo got a high score on two songs, Izuku wasn't even close to getting past a single star. Though Izuku graciously took the losses, Momo stayed humbled about her victories.

At the end of the night, the two went up to the ticket counters. Though Izuku had won most of the tickets, 75 % of them, Izuku allowed Momo to use most of them. Momo tried to write it off that she didn't need tickets, as she just created anything she needed, but Izuku joked that wasn't how the economy worked. After letting out a laugh, Momo began to look at the ticket prices for different items.

In the end, she got a small LED bulb sign that flashed between stylized versions of Pro Hero logos. It had the top ten pro heroes, while some less known pro heroes, such as the Wild Wild Pussy Cats and Present Mic. Momo also got a foam rocket launcher, and then a metal necklace where the ornament was a wolf paw.

Izuku tried not to read too deeply into the necklace, as he spent most of his tickets on an All Might Funko pop, a couple of sticky hands and a yo-yo while blowing the rest on candy. After getting their items into a bag, Izuku slipped the two arcade cards into his wallet and they went home.

"Thanks for coming out with me, Midoriya. I know you must have been tired after the game. I couldn't tell that you were giving it your best." Momo said.

"It's no problem at all. I trained a bit over the summer so my stamina is much better." Izuku said, "Though I wonder if that played any part in me not dancing well?'

"Oh come on." Momo said in a playful tone, "I always said you can get better."

"I know, I know." Izuku said.

"Speaking of the game, I'm sorry if you got the wrong impression about me holding up the sign. Mio talked me into it." Momo said.

Izuku paused for a bit. He couldn't bring up how hated he had been by the sign, or it was because of the sign he had started playing so aggressively, which resulted in his team winning in the end. Izuku shook his head and said, "It's fine. Though I would like to know what's going on with Mio and Kacchan."

"What do you mean by that?" Momo asked as they walked across an intersection.

"They weren't dating before summer, so something must have happened over the break. Then again Mio is the kind of girl that tries to make herself popular by getting into the friend group of the popular kids. And with Kacchan's quirk and his athleticism, it is not hard to see why he's so popular." Izuku said as he scratched the back of his head.

Momo nodded her head to show she was a bit in agreement, "Well I'm glad we were able to still go on the date, with just the two of us."

"I as well," Izuku said, as he turned and looked at Momo. The moonlight perfectly highlighted her face, reflecting off her black hair, making it like there was a wave of silver going through it. Her soft facial features, warmed Izuku's cheeks and her laughing throughout the date had made Izuku's heart flutter like a butterfly on a warm summer afternoon. Izuku couldn't help but think of kissing Momo.

What happened next was a kiss, but Izuku wasn't the one that was the cause. Izuku's eyes went wide as he realized Momo was kissing him on the cheeks. Suddenly his werewolf instinct shot up and Izuku could hear everything around him, he could feel the world around him. And the one thing Izuku could feel was Momo's soft lips against his cheek.

And that was enough to short-circuit Izuku's mind.

He froze as Momo withdrew from Izuku's cheek. Izuku didn't notice but her own cheeks were bright red. The next second Momo went running off. She couldn't believe she had done that. The moonlight glowed against his soft green curly hair. The smile he had now since the game, was enough to light up the world, and he seemed to genuinely care for her. And his sense of humor, Momo couldn't help but laugh at his jokes.

Momo believed herself to be a thoughtful and rational person, but one moment she was smiling at how cute Izuku was and the next she leaned forward and kissed him on the cheek. When Momo realized what she was doing, her body melted a bit, enjoying what she was doing, but then it hit her even harder and she pulled back. She blushed and became embarrassed. She had seen soap dramas and rom-coms where the girl ran away after kissing a guy she liked, and Momo never understood it. But now she did, as she leaned back from the kiss, all she wanted to do was get away.

So that's what Momo did.

Momo turned and took off running down the street, away from Izuku. She thought Izuku was running after her, but Izuku's mind had shut up and it was taking time for it to reboot and start back up again, it might as well have been working off flopping discs. And because of this Izuku's body went on autopilot. Izuku's consciousness was lost in a world of surprise, confusion, joy and worry.

Surprise, well because of the kiss.

Confusion, well because of the kiss.

Joy, well because Momo had kissed him

Worry, well because Momo had run away after the kiss.

Izuku's mind tried to make sense of this and it didn't until he was always minding and flopping down onto his bed. His face hit the pillow and he let out a scream. He had a girlfriend, one as beautiful as Momo Yaoyorozu and she had kissed him because she liked him. But then why did she run away?

That was the one part of the date Izuku couldn't figure out. Was Momo embarrassed over the kiss, but she was the one who kissed him? Did she run away, because she didn't like him? And what was with the wolf paw necklace?

At that thought Izuku's mind became sidetracked about Momo's choice to get a wolf paw necklace. Did she just have a fantastion about wolves? Did this mean she knew about the hunters? About her father being one of them? Did this mean Momo was trained to kill werewolves?

With that panic and fear within Izuku's mind, it had decided it had enough and shut off. The exhaustion he was starting to feel from the game made it easy and in the next few seconds Izuku fell asleep.

And that's the latest update for My Wolf Academia. Izuku works towards controlling the shift and manages to get through the first major lacrosse game. While Kuriam gets arrested and has a conversion with Mr Yaoyorozu, though I wonder who his friends (No, actually I have no idea, I added that in because I thought it might be something I could come back to help tie in a character incase I struggle to bring them in)

Past that, again it's going to be a while until this story is updated again. Though as I worked on these chapter my mother informed me of a car trip being done around the end of June. I can see myself deciding to work on some more chapters during that trip, well at least the driving part.

Until then, leave some reviews, tell what you think. Do you like the pacing of the stories for now.

Next chapter updates will be Izuku beginning this training with All Might and getting prepared for UA. All the while he, Kei and Momo have to deal with the crazy as seemed to have move into town.
