"How fast can we get these plans to Ruskland?"

Immediately the men surrounding Mattias began either calculating the quickest routes or means of travel to the battlefront.

"If we send them by carrier pigeon then about three weeks sir!" A feeble man said looking over a map.

"Damn." Mattias clutched his chin in thought. "Anything quicker?" His assistants and soldiers fell silent until one spoke up passively.

"Well sir if we perhaps asked the wind spirit…" He was shut down immediately with a tone harsher than what the general meant to come out.

"Absolutely not. We have strict instructions to not plan or involve any of the spirits of nature." Though they did not understand this to the same degree as he did they conceded easily.

Mattias bent over the map wishing it could have been so simple but he had witnessed the events that followed when the magic of nature was trifled with. It felt like an eternity being trapped in that forest and took him years to finally visit without panicking at the possibility of being trapped there again with one mistake or misstep be it big or small.

It was a lesson he diligently taught his soldiers and upon hearing the exigence of his voice they listened and respected his expertise in the matter.

"Under the circumstances I believe a messenger hawk should be utilized for this sir."

Mattias sighed then nodded away for the blueprints to be carefully gathered and sent on its journey.

"Huh? Olaf I have to hand it to you, you were right, sweetness is the best defense." Weighing the small ball in her hand Anna bounced it twice before Olaf stepped forward twiddling his fingers.

"I find that the most unusual answers tend to be the most poetic buuut I wouldn't be tossing that in the air- ya know since the kaboom comes from hitting stuff." He ended with a chortle, Anna immediately caught the ball and pocketed it with the others.

"Another good point!" Anna headed for the door, nudging her head forward. "Come on, let's go show Elsa." The inventive breakthrough brought an extra pep in Anna's steps down the halls in search of her family.

In the passing week she usually found them in the council chambers, or outside in the training yard, especially Ryu and Elsa, honing in on any defensive skills that could give them the advantage.

They weren't entirely sure what was awaiting them across the sea but as Elsa always said it was better for one's health to be over prepared than under.

So that is exactly what Anna planned on doing. With her fencing lessons she took now in the early mornings, delegating the time which used to be used opening the mail to Tobias, she discovered a liking for the art of sword fighting. It was serendipity that a lot of the preparations were activities she enjoyed; sword practice, flying with Ryu perfecting daring maneuvers that Elsa couldn't fret at any longer. Though her muscles complained at night an intuition told her that it wasn't enough.

Allowing Olaf to tag along whenever she could manage was another secretly genius idea, turned out the little guy had been inspired by Elsa to study Ryu and maybe discover how her rainbow infatuation and manipulation could be used to protect his family.

While it was fun watching him examine her closely, smacking her nose whenever she misbehaved, Anna and Elsa both knew he was compensating for the time they'd be apart in the near future.

Little did they predict that even though he didn't make any breakthroughs with her magic he made one with science.

Surrounded in a room of beakers, books strewn about opened to pages that served the duo's intentions.

"And with Potassium chlorate, mixed with sulfuric acid– add a drop of table sugar annnd-" the explosion was much more massive than Anna anticipated, reactively she shoved herself into Olaf away from the purple flames. It was as if Ryu had just blasted them in the face.

"Oh yay! It worked!"

"I'll say… " Anna breathed, watching the resulting destruction, holding Olaf tightly to her chest.

"Oh you have a little–" she wiped the black smoke from her hair and cheeks which Olaf gestured to and put their brains to work… after cleaning their little science experiment up first.

They of course had to promise Elsa they'd be extra responsible in messing with the explosive concoction, explaining the addition of sugar instead of the glucose from Ryu created a more aggressive reaction.

It irritated Ryu greatly to be pulled from training to have the pouches inside her mouth prodded and squeezed of their natural chemicals which her body produced if not a little painful but it was a contribution she was willing to make."For science!" Olaf would remind her.

The setting sun made Elsa's hair tied in its tight ponytail appear more similar to a halo practically shimmering. Even with the sheen of sweat coating her forehead and labored breaths she looked exquisite, the techniques they had taken to practicing gave Ryu's assessing eyes the ability to notice that despite being lithe Elsa was very capable when it came to physical activities.

She wanted to focus and was meant to be watching every part of Elsa closely to ensure her form was perfect, where Ryu's mind had decided to wander off to when staring at Elsa's biceps which were tightly balled up as her arms flexed under the weight of the gravity proved she was never meant to be a teacher.

A loud crash brought her back to the present where Elsa lay sprawled out no longer perched on the ice pillar balancing, instead wincing on the ground.

She must have thought Ryu's grunt was in disappointment in her but it was a berating sound she meant for herself. They had more important matters to worry about than the libidinous wants stirring her loins from Elsa's surprisingly strong muscles and familiar scent of exertion that only served to remind Ryu she hadn't smelt that in a particular situation she'd prefer for a long while.

"Sorry, I'll try again." Elsa's determination wasn't anything except admirable and this made Ryu smile on the inside underneath the stoic face she held on her features.

Waving Elsa off with a shake of her head she turned her back to her entering the center of the training yard, hands clasped behind her back she stood straight and spoke in a monotone yet commanding voice Elsa initially flinched at but grew accustomed to over the past week.

"Show me your taijutsu techniques." Nodding Elsa took her stance, taking a deep breath and began. Memorization once again proved her strongest asset, remembering the proper ways to smoothly transition from kicks, to throws, and punches.

She lacked the strength however which Ryu was looking to build and after a couple of minutes she stopped, staring at the ground with a small frown then back to Ryu.

"Ryu, is this okay?" Ryu raised a brow. Saying what she thought out loud.

"Why wouldn't it be?"

"It's just these fighting techniques seem so… offensive. Dangerous even especially with my magic being the way it is, I could really hurt someone." It took a few moments for Ryu to catch on to what Elsa meant humming to herself.

That was the point, wasn't it, why they began seriously training in the first place. To hurt and not be hurt in the process, for Elsa to use her body and not her magic to protect herself.

"it's what you asked for, Erusa." That was true, she hoped Elsa wasn't shying away now that things had begun to become more violent, all the body conditioning they managed to squeeze in would now be just a waste.

Elsa sighed, dejectedly she raised her arms back up. "I guess." She murmured, continuing her exercises. Ryu kept her glances short and quick, taking in enough information to correct curtly.

The firm and short touches to her person was something Elsa could not get acclimate to though.

"Are you alright?" The soft question had Ryu looking up to answer. Of course she was…

"You don't at all when we're training seem like yourself." If Ryu ever dared make such an observation in her youth she'd be punished, she shivered at the memory. Admittedly she didn't exactly feel like herself either, she felt like an imitation of one of her trainers, rigid, repetitive, striving for perfection.

Now that she considered it, she needn't to, Elsa already wouldn't accept anything else but the best she could offer, even repeating a strenuous move when it was uncomfortable to do so without being told.

"I don't know Erusa–" she gave up slumping downward towards the ground resting her arms on bent up knees. This wasn't working, yes Elsa was retaining information she learned and worked very hard Ryu could still see how much she didn't enjoy it despite being rather intrigued by the idea of using her body for protection instead of magic. All things considered it was perhaps Ryu's demeanor that took the fun out of it, but it wasn't supposed to be fun with detrimental consequences hanging in the air around them, if Elsa was driven to use these teachings in Ruskland. It was a failsafe plan.

So caught up on her own mind Ryu hadn't noticed Elsa taking a spot next to her invading her nostrils with the aroma of work and exertion. Ryu disguised her greedy inhale as a sigh closing her eyes as Elsa spoke softly.

"I could be wrong- but is it safe to assume that Ryu isn't teaching me and instead one of Ryu's previous tutors?" Ever the astute one Elsa hit the nail directly on target.

"Mhm."

Teaching wasn't exactly her strong suit that was true but Ryu liked to consider herself just as observant, and in her studying she could safely deduce that Elsa thrived in defensive arts and withered away at offensive ones.

She wasn't an attacker, anyone could see that, she preferred to protect. Ryu's eyes found Elsa's, she smiled lopsidedly, in understanding.

Time to change the curriculum.

"Lay down." Elsa's head tilted at the plain command.

"I beg your pardon." That was the least of what she was expecting to hear next from Ryu.

"Lay down." Ryu repeated, holding a feather that had been waiting in her pocket, twisting its base in her fingers.

Slowly Elsa laid on her back, unsure of what to do with her hands and arms, deciding that she'd keep them at her sides until instructed otherwise.

"I'm sorry Erusa, for leading you astray. I can't teach you the way I learned and I don't really want to." Elsa was quick to leap in her defense.

"You have taught me a lot and I did learn."

Ryu grinned down at her, finding her never ending reservoir of sweetness never waning on her nerves. Always encouraging of those she cared about, and so forgiving. Ryu still found the concept of anyone wanting to harm Elsa an incomprehensible level of madness.

"Yes but I am no master in the arts but I can show you things with the little time we have like how to stay safe."

Her eyes nearly went cross eyed as Ryu knelt by her head, lowering the gray feather onto while speaking much more mildly than prior. "Firstly you will learn how to breathe-" she twirled the feather twice." -with this on the tip of your nose, keep your mouth shut, and ensure it doesn't fall."

It seemed trivial enough until Elsa learned it wasn't. It tickled at first which of course displaced the feather, once she had gotten used to the sensation Elsa focused on not breathing too harshly to send it up into the air, figuring that she still needed to keep her lungs supplied with enough oxygen.

"Just relax." Ryu interrupted, placing a shaking hand onto her diaphragm, a blush painted both their cheeks at the implications the placement of touch held between them. A pavlovian response to what had become an intimate action for the pair. "Pull in slowly but fully then use your belly to control the amount that comes out."

With the help of Ryu's hand putting the right amount of pressure with each exhale Elsa's breaths disrupted the feather less and less.

Juxtapose to her earlier methods Ryu didn't wait for perfection to move onto the next lesson, hopping in place energetically for Elsa to rise to her feet, she was less enthusiastic to delve back into the more strenuous aspect of training.

Elsa felt very exposed under Ryu's intense gaze as it traveled up her body and down again then asked. "Are you aware of the off buttons humans have?" Confusion made Elsa's brows furrow deeply.

"Off buttons?" She was in fact not aware that humans had such… buttons let alone any. The only body part she could think of was-

"Do you mean a belly button?" Ryu shook her head, from behind her hands clasped Elsa's shoulders. Her fingers trailed from the blades slowly up Elsa's neck ignoring the hitched breaths which followed as she pulled her white gi to the side exposing skin.

"You strike here lightly-" Elsa couldn't tell if Ryu knew the effect the creeping touches and whispered words had on her. The way they made her scalp tingle similarly to when Ryu gave her personal attention while grooming, the sensation was downright pleasurable, shivers began to spread from her scalp traveling down throughout her spine and limbs.

The feelings of blissful relaxation and drowsiness nearly made her lose track of the instruction and misinterpret what Ryu meant entirely.

"You mean pressure points-" She grinned, turning to face Ryu, blinking slow and heavy.

Ryu kept her voice low and even."Mhm. I was never taught they always emphasized the more aggressive tactics in my training… Are you okay?" Elsa nodded trying to bring herself back from the state of euphoria she had just been lulled into. "Do you know where those but- points are?"

Another nod followed.

Ryu must have been aware of what she was doing to only continue on with the treatment, deliberately dragging her fingers across Elsa's cool skin, never faltering. She deduced if she had been born a dragon, the purrs that would come from her throat would vibrate the entire castle.

Even the tiny scraps of her nails made Elsa want to close her eyes and sag her body back into Ryu's, but this wasn't the right time nor did she think it appropriate to conduct herself in such a manner in a public space.

Pulling away, Elsa took a deep cleansing breath, from the expression on Ryu's face she could tell that whatever the cause of such sensations would be explored later and thoroughly by Ryu which was both exciting if not also a bit disconcerting.

Elsa felt thoroughly surprised when Ryu began to stretch out her limbs and torso, each exhale coming out in billows of steam, shedding her gray jacket with a toss, she wasn't wearing a gi like Elsa instead donning a simple tan tunic, and brown pants.

She hadn't sparred directly with Elsa since the passing autumn and even then it was mostly just them tumbling about in the grass together, the gamesome nature hadn't been seriously weighed down by the the situation they faced now.

They encircled each other twice, before Elsa could decide her next move Ryu approached and jabbed her ribs, spreading a stinging pain to her sides.

"Block it Erusa." It wasn't as fast as she could move, but still quite quick, Elsa thought it better to not ask Ryu to stop holding back.

The next jab came and despite being on the opposite side Elsa managed to block it successfully. "Very good." Ryu grinned, her scales weren't hardened to protect herself from the firm hits they repeated a few times. "Now after you block and my hand is away from my body I want you to hit a umm pressure point yes, before I can manage to protect it." Elsa frowned, she didn't like the idea of possibly immobilizing Ryu.

As if sensing this Ryu chuckled lightly. "It'll be fine, I'll be fine." So Elsa waited, then struck using her knuckles to apply pressure on Ryu's neck. She didn't mean to close her eyes but anxiety of what would follow got the better of her.

When they opened she half expected to be met with the sight of Ryu laying in pain on the floor but instead the dragon remained in front of her still grinning pleased.

She made Elsa giddy with her praises and slow instruction, every misstep was assured by Ryu that it wasn't a failure, just a lesson well learned and to succeed she'd have to try again.

Ryu had said continuously she was no master, or teacher and had little patience and adroitness in the roles but to Elsa this was only true when Ryu behaved not as herself.

"Try to catch me eh?" The dragon bounced on her toes away from Elsa easily climbing the ice pillars, leaping to the roof adjacent to them.

Elsa blew out some air and braced herself, clinging to her ice to climb it and follow. As she trailed Ryu crouched low on the roof, she hoped that they weren't disturbing anyone below them, keeping her steps light and quick.

"Very good, very good Erusa! You're pretty fast for someone who has Nokk carry their butt everywhere!"

Oh she's going to get it now.

With an indignant expression Elsa whipped her hand out to swing her body around the sharp corner, she nearly slipped downward catching herself, it didn't help how steep of an angle the castle roofs were in almost all directions.

It was so unfair the way Ryu made skipping across the spread out poles to the other side, never losing her footing, appear so easy. She wasn't without her own mistakes, too busy looking back at Elsa laughing had her face planted into the lighthouse monolith. Taking it in good nature she scurried up the side of it.

Elsa skidded to a halt before going back to gain enough momentum to make it across the poles. She couldn't linger, less her ankle buckled and sent her down to a nasty fall.

She looked up to where Ryu went, surely she didn't expect Elsa to climb this wall without her powers.

Ryu's head poked from the top with a smug smirk Elsa promised to kiss off of her face when she finally caught her.

Evidently she did expect Elsa to get up there. Elsa hummed looking for a solution, her lips curved into their own smirk when she found just that.

Ryu sighed, drumming her fingers against the railing as she waited, already growing bored despite it being only two minutes.

The view was pretty at least. The stars beginning to appear seemed to have been creating their own city of twinkling lights. The waves of the water splashed against the castle walls, a lullaby for the sailing boats she caught sight of being cradled by the sloshing waters.

A soft footstep interrupted the sea song. She tuned in, detecting the almost bare feet touching the wooden surface of the floor.

Why is Elsa walking so slo- oh she's trying to sneak up on me.

It was tempting to pretend to be frightened when Elsa grasped her shoulders suddenly but that seemed too much like coddling. Ryu had to remind herself, they weren't playing chase in the woods, they were training for an emergency.

"You climbed the wall quicker than what I would have thought." Elsa released her, joining her side to lean against the railing for some wave watching.

"I didn't, I found another way up." Ryu nodded, wagging a finger to Elsa.

"Resourcefulness is a good quality to have in a dangerous situation-"

"I took the stairs." The blunt reply gave Ryu pause, she felt foolish for the premature praise she just offered, then shrugged, that was fair she guessed. She never said Elsa had to do exactly as she did in the chase.

That reminded her. "You didn't catch me yet by the way." Elsa grinned, still looking out at the horizon.

"I know." Her blithe tone made Ryu look up. True Elsa didn't catch Ryu by chasing her but Ryu would be a fool to not admit she didn't have to. She had already trapped her with a simple look.

The way the lighthouse illuminated part of her face in a warm yellow, and the reflective blue hue took residence on the other side created a gorgeous contrast. Ryu couldn't stop staring until Elsa had enough and glanced at her, catching the dragon awkwardly looking away.

Ryu caught the small grin teasing her lips. To cut past the uncomfortable tension she felt she coughed into her hand.

"We have to work on your stealth before we go." The depressive tone she took had Elsa sighing heavily, pulling back while gripping the rails.

"Ryu… " she started carefully. "You know I'm not actually planning on fighting anyone when we go to Ruskland right? This training– it's all a precaution."

Ryu's grip tightened and eyes steeled. She hated dashing Elsa's optimism and understood her perspective, or at least tried to– if she had been told by a literal goddess of creation to not partake in a war she'd listen too…

Ryu shook her head.

Under the right circumstances she'd listen.

"Erusa, I know Ah-Ahta- the Memory River told you that we can't fight but… did they also tell you what to do if the enemy Wants to fight and won't stop until you're dead."

"Peace is the answer, it has to be, all the times in the past it wasn't chosen and ended in bloodshed. I won't make that same mistake."

Elsa remained resolute in that, like a mountain against the wind she'd not be swayed, especially when it came to her values. Ryu knew that much.

"Well just promise me that if it ever comes down to you or them… you pick you."

The lack of reply had Ryu worried she had struck a nerve with her words. "I-..." The words died in Elsa's throat, they both could understand why. Aware that it wasn't in Elsa to kill, it went against her nature. As Ahtohollan's physical representative in the world, creation was her forte not destruction.

To steer the conversation in a more jovial direction Ryu hopped onto the railing pointing to the harbor. "That's where I stayed for a few days eating chum then some fishermen discovered me and… well you know what happened next."

Elsa spotted the space under the decks that probably hid the dragon from plain sight. "What made you visit here anyways?"

Ryu crouched then shrugged. "Wasn't so much of a visit as it was me taking refuge from a sea storm, I was planning on leaving immediately but then I saw how wasteful the fishers were here."

That had Elsa's eyes widening. "Wait… Arendelle wasn't on your list of places to visit?" The face Ryu made nearly had Elsa taking offense.

"Fuck no, I wouldn't go to place so populated with people without scooping it out first, no, I got swept up in a wicked storm and was tired and hungry and bam! Next thing I know I'm being chased and screamed at–" Elsa watched Ryu pace on the railing with impeccable balance listening to her regale the events that felt like years ago yet only happened in the passing summer.

"Then just when I think I got away some scrawny blonde haired lady with a history of kidnapping forest creatures starts stalking me." Elsa tried her best to drown the giggles rising in her throat with a scornful stare, crossing her arms.

Ryu smiled at her pouty small frown and jumped down.

She's so damn beautiful.

"I've never been so grateful for chum than when I got to know you." Elsa turned to Ryu cringing at what she just said, probably hoping it would sound as romantic out loud as it did in her head.

From the way she had been staring at her since they had come up here she could see affection shining in those eyes, to how saccharine her voice sounded practically purring with every word, Elsa didn't really mind it as much, being associated with chum.

Elsa yelped ducking down when a leg swung past her head. Ryu didn't exactly give her a chance to ask for an explanation before she was striking again and again.

Elsa caught her shin in her hands, the impact wouldn't hurt terribly but definitely smart if she landed a blow.

"That was a cheeky way to start a match, Miss Paul." Spinning away from Ryu's left jab Elsa predicted that he expected her to try and hit the left side since that hand was occupied recovering.

"Wow!" Ryu cheered when Elsa managed to throw her off capriciously striking her right shoulder.

Bringing her leg down Ryu dipped low enough to catch it on her arm, making Elsa hiss in the stretch she made by raising it.

The closer she came, the higher Elsa's leg went.

"Nice." Ryu remarked, noticing how flexible Elsa truly was. The position put them at an odds, both trying to fuel their panting lungs for different reasons.

Finally she allowed Elsa's leg to lower, the chilly winds whipped snow around them displacing their hair.

Expecting another counter attack Ryu readied herself when Elsa's palm opened towards her, smiling with eyes warmer than the summer sun.

Their hands joined, connecting them beyond a physical surface. Elsa's gravitational pull beguile Ryu into her inescapable orbit. Akin to lava flowing into water to create an entirely new continent, snowflakes of indigos, violets, pinks, and blues floated around the pair synonymous with their movements.

It hurt, alarmed, and gladdened Anna's heart all at the same time. It took an hour of her time to finally find her sister following the directions of staff and castle residents who had seen Elsa chasing Ryu upon the castle roof. Anna didn't dwell on it, aware of the full extent of Ryu's questionable training methods.

Thinking that the setting sun would make the task even more difficult, instead it led her to the castle walls.

Shadows that could only belong to Elsa and Ryu were showcased upon the white sails of the ships docked, backlit by the lighthouse.

A sad smile spread across her lips, hands clasping the collar of her coat gazing at the silhouettes dancing together.

Many memories flooded through her mind, recalling the night that she had "fallen in love". It was so uncanny to see, in her heart she could feel- from the way Elsa twirled and spun Ryu in the winter ballet– this was a far cry from that night, it wouldn't end in proposals or a kingdom frozen over.

"Are you still walking around with those bombs in your pocket?" Anna chuckled, wrapping her arms around Kristoff's waist.

"Oh most definitely, was going to show Elsa but um–" she coughed towards the sails. "She's a bit occupied at the moment."

Kristoff huffed and hugged Anna from behind. "Should we let them know that anyone standing on the castle wall can see their little shadow puppet show?" Anna thought about this for a few seconds then shook her head.

"I'll keep watch for them."

"And I–" Kristoff squeezed her tightly against him, she welcomed the heat his body provided, closing her eyes momentarily. "Will keep you warm."

Ryu's limbs protested the wiggling she put them through, strutting to Elsa's hypnotic voice, she didn't need any music to create her own melody.

"There's cottage in hills, where the wind chimes trills, and the birds all sing their song,

But I won't be content with the time there spent, unless you come along–" Clasping Ryu's cheek had her purring into Elsa's palm.

Without a care of who heard or saw, like a pied Piper Elsa's siren call lured Ryu all the way to her room where their tired muscles demanded they undress, and lay in bed.

"And every night, every night, I won't rest till I hold you tight,

So please come with me– as I sing you to sleep, oh sweet darling of mine." Ryu allowed Elsa to hold her close humming the tune, its sanguine nature enticed a yawn from her as she sank down into the sea of Elsa's cold, soft body, and the warm sheets. Her nose twitched from the finger which played along its length, till she had grown used to it enough to find it somewhat relaxing.

"As you lay in my arms, safe from pain and harm, I know I'll find a way–

To make you smile, even for a short while, I pray to god you'll stay.

As I try, with all my might, to hold you every night,

Yes my heart still yearns for yours in return, I pray to god you'll be mine."

"You're beautiful, kind, and have the prettiest voice I've ever heard..." Elsa grinned at Ryu's juvenile pout, tapping her lips till it turned into a smile, scooting closer to allow Ryu's head to lay upon her shoulder.

Instead of singing Ryu's snores encored Elsa's song leaving her awake staring at the ceiling, still stroking her hair idly.

Elsa truly believed she couldn't kill for herself, for gain... but she wondered– if driven to it...

She glanced down at Ryu.

Can I kill for the ones I love?

Elsa refused to take it as a bad omen, the journey was its own storm that could no longer be delayed. The weather mimicked this in harsh winds and flurries that challenged the most experienced sailor visually.

The sea's constant motion mixed in the sleet and ice caps which drifted in and out of the vicinity stirred into a dangerous soup by the winds.

Standing to the side Elsa picked at her travel clothes as luggage and cargo were loaded onto the brig, despite its smaller size Captain Saunes insisted on commandeering the voyage again, canceling his holiday early much to the protest of Anna and Kristoff stating; With all due respect your Majesty, I will not abandon my duty for the sake of respite while we are in such turbulent times. If I can play any part in ensuring the safety of the royal family I will go above and beyond the realms of my responsibilities.

Anna cried into his arms hugging the large man tightly. Elsa had been moved by the sentiment as well feeling thoroughly overwhelmed by the amount of support their people afforded them.

"If I had known this year would have this much sea travel I wouldn't have declined Captain Saunes private sailing lessons." Elsa had caught the little remark whispered by Kristoff to mostly himself and Sven.

A gurgling neigh captured her attention to look down from the dock.

Her heart dropped like a stone in the river. A set of memories came rushing back from the tearful goodbyes she had to give out that morning to so many, these much less pleasant than their first trip to Ruskland. Steps crackled into existence giving Elsa access to the area Nokk had surfaced.

His body frosted over with a single touch to the snout. "I'm sorry my friend." Elsa murmured, connecting their foreheads together. "I wish you could come but…" how could she elaborate the importance of their separation as clearly as she already had. Usually Nokk understood to some level but this time, instead of a mournful goodbye he acted out of aggression and a determination to follow Elsa all the way to the harbor.

Elsa could feel it, he was agitated and squirrelly. His eyes demanded a reconsideration in her choice. Elsa couldn't fathom the thoughts she saw dancing in his eyes and exuding off of his body.

The Guardian of the dark sea and Ahtohollan was ready to leave his post and follow her across to a foreign land. It broke Elsa's heart, the idea of her beautiful friend willingly demeaning himself to nothing more than a war horse.

Elsa choked back a sob which threatened to be eminent with tears streaming down her cheeks. "I love you. I'll be back, before you could ever start to miss me. Take care of the others," she stroked his mane with trembling fingers. "Don't let Bruni walk in the house with muddy paws, make sure Gale doesn't cause too much mischief, and the earth Giants' naps aren't disturbed. Can you do that for me, Beautiful Nokk?" His snort answered her.

Regretfully climbing the stairs, Elsa solemnly resigned into herself, simply smiling small when listening to Olaf and Anna practically compete in cheering the other up.

"And don't forget not to go overboard with the decorations, alright. I'm counting on you to be responsible." Speaking sternly with a raised finger, her head was tilted down towards Olaf but her eyes pleaded with Kai's, knowing they'd come back to a castle that would look like Christmas vomited all over it.

"And you don't go overboard on the ship, I mean unless you want to go swimming then by all means."

Olaf waddled over to Elsa not waiting for her to pick him up, embracing her legs tightly. Kneeling his hug was returned in an exchange of whispers.

"When we make this trip I won't be leaving home for a whole year at least." He gasped, pulling away slightly to search her eyes for any jest.

"Really?" Elsa nodded, pulling him to her chest again. "And hey I hear Anna put you in charge of the decorations this year–" mischievously she side eyed Anna and Kristoff who were speaking with Honeymaren and Tobias.

"This'll be Ryu's first Christmas, she doesn't know what it is." They both glanced up to the dragon perched upon the prow of the ship diligently watching the misty horizon. She had only offered short 'see you laters' to everyone, not seeing a point in goodbyes when she'd be back. Olaf and Bruni had forgiven the stoic behavior, goodbyes had always been a final act to her in life.

"Don't worry Elsa, it'll be the best! Christmas she's ever had!" He proudly proclaimed. Elsa straightened, taking his hand in hers.

"It'll be the only Christmas she's ever had." Her mood improved drastically discussing the preparations of holiday festivities they'd take part of when their mission was complete.

Both she and Anna regarded the gangplank, hesitation keeping their feet up on their homeland soil.

"Another adventure." Despite herself Elsa smirked and sighed. "Oh no." Kristoff gripped their shoulders, shaking them a bit. Wisely, no one mentioned a word about how this particular adventure was sending them into a warzone as they boarded.

"No separating this time, ladies."

"Tell that to her." Anna pointed to Elsa before fixing her coat around herself, mumbling something about how Ryu was going to be sleeping with her and Kristoff since Elsa wouldn't need her welcomed warmth. Elsa appreciated this, but it was still difficult to ignore the sense of dread clouding her mind with intrusive thoughts.

Waving goodbyes to all gathered on the docks, Elsa noticed Nokk looking on after their departing ship.

All the miles that awaited them, she could only be grateful they'd not be lonely ones, leaning against the side of the ship she watched the waters below before feeling warmth on her hand.

She tightened her grip, entangling her fingers with Anna who did the same. They held fast, knowing what they were capable of together, to the moment and to each other. It was all they could do to not sink into the dark recesses of their psyches.

Ryu had taken to the skies the first hour of the trip, sometimes vanishing in the dense snowfall, other times going especially high.

She wouldn't have such freedom when they entered Ruskland, with the standing agreement Elsa coerced the General and Ophelia to adhere to.

"Now you wished to speak of discretion Lady Elsa?" Ophelia settled on the chair in Anna's study standing in front of the window.

"Yes–" she began turning to face them. "In regards to Ryu, I'd be very appreciative that if she is to accompany us to Ruskland that you must not allude to her true nature to anyone–" she saw them open their mouths but quickly rushed in to halt in protest. "Please, it is imperative to forces that go far beyond anyone's comprehension, even mine, and the more people who know of her the more danger she'll be in."

Lady Ophelia sat straighter thinking carefully of her next words. "I understand Lady Elsa, but how are we going to… disguise a dragon, how shall you expect us to keep such a creature incognito."

Elsa gave a duper's delightful grin. Humming softly. "That's the easiest part for you anyways, as far as anyone concerned in Ruskland Ryu is a creation of mine to help with the Yokai."

The dignitaries did not look very keen on keeping such a secret from their powers at be, it was the reason why Elsa gave them the ultimatum in the first place, grateful that they hadn't called her bluffing. She hated exploiting their desperation and knew her comeuppance would be due but that was a problem for her alone to deal with… later.

It wouldn't be too far-fetched of a disguise, the word of Elsa's ability to create sentience was far spread, perhaps too far.

The news always procured curious royals and meddling scientists, or someone of the like who needed confirmation with their own eyes that such miracles could really be true.

In one way or another Elsa always found a means of dodging inquiries or investigations, being studied like an anomaly and revealing precious secrets just didn't really appeal to her or any of the other spirits.

"Please, don't mind me." Ryu crooned as Anna climbed her back absorbing her body heat like a sponge.

Elsa suspected her dragon wouldn't want to be studied, poked or prodded either… except by her friends who now hovered around her warmth like bees to a flower.

It gave Elsa a sneaking suspicion that Anna and Kristoff would most likely steal her away in the night to sneak into their chambers.

She grinned at the thought, taking a deep cleansing breath. Looking below something had caught Elsa's eye. The waves should have been moving towards the back of the boat but instead were moving forward with the ship. That… wasn't normal.

Elsa frowned, going to the other side assessing that the waves moved as they should under the weight of the ship. Maybe it was her nerves getting to her. Or maybe it was the nature of Arendelle's waters telling her that it was preternatural for her to leave Arendelle. She'd keep an eye on it to assure no troubles awaited them during their voyage, for now she could just sit back and enjoy the beautiful waters that encompassed one side of her country, maybe daydream about a life at sea, carefree and not bound by land and its complicated problems. That day on the fjord riding with Nokk years ago she had thought he found just that but then the world, the beautiful world and all its messy problems and concerns had to become involved.

The more freedom Elsa wanted, the more liberties she afforded cost just as much as the previous payment she took. Elsa suspected she would have to be careful with how much she took and if she were willing to pay the price.

Some days Ryu found Elsa on the dock, spontaneously challenging her to a sparring session or perfecting Elsa's form.

What began as actual lessons became what some would call just Ryu's daily excuse to run her fingers along Elsa's muscles. She didn't know why she always thought of the woman's physique as willowy and frail. Or why she became so surprised when faced with her strength from Elsa pinning her with her thighs and arms smiling down at her, when it made perfect sense from the– while still domesticated– high activity lifestyle she lived.

A slow grin spread across Ryu's face, allowing herself to become distracted by the way Elsa's hips pressed down into her own, the way her bangs clung to her forehead, the rapid rise and fall of her breast from deep panting breaths she took.

She almost didn't catch Elsa's question over the rhonchus purrs erupting from her throat, her body softened everywhere forgetting they were not in the privacy of their chambers but instead on the deck.

"Ryu?" A tap upon her nose brought the dragon back from nearly divulging into fantasies that seemed more frequent the longer the pair had refrained from intimacy.

Shaking her head– feeling completely injudicious– Ryu sat up and took Elsa's offered hand to help her to her feet.

"Um good–" she lifted her thumbs, lips pursing into a smile which was almost as tight as her voice. "Good job you're getting very erm skilled. I uh–" Elsa obviously didn't know where the vexatious tension originated from, with her crossed arms and tilted head. "I should go finish Anna's sugar bomb thingies."

Quickly Ryu retreated to their room shutting the door, plopping down at the desk huffing. She welcomed the busy work, any work that could aid in getting Elsa out of her head, they had much more pressing matters to focus on then… whatever this frustrating emotion was that plagued her. This longing she thought she had long since gotten rid of since she and Elsa were first intimate. Now it seemed worse, she knew what she was longing for, it was no longer a mystery and wondered if Elsa was suffering the same emotions.

Biting her pencil nearly split it in half when Ryu concluded she most likely was not. That was evident from their sparring sessions, Elsa was driven to succeed, not distracted by the physicalities of being so close and yet so far.

The schematic sitting on the desk before her was the last thing on Ryu's mind, taking the back burner to the repression efforts of keeping her libidinous thoughts at bay.

If she'd entertain the conspiracy theories that wanted to be explored, Ryu would go as far to say that Elsa was teasing her, but she knew better.

Despite being the most beautiful person Ryu had ever seen she also was aware that Elsa could at times be utterly clueless to how enchanting she truly was inside and out. Comparing herself to the spirit always made Ryu feel like a strumpet animal.

At the sound of the door opening Ryu quickly leaned forward hunching closer to the papers scribbling a random note she thought of prior. Each footstep that drew closer and closer tightened her grip on the pencil.

Cold hands clasped her biceps causing Ryu to jolt a little, only relaxing a small bit when Elsa's chin rested up on her shoulder peeking at her progress which given the time that she had wasn't much.

Feeling Elsa pressing against her back assessing her work fired up nerves to become hypersensitive, it was both comforting and dispiriting.

"I think she'll like it, I know I do, it's certainly more safe than before. Explain it to me?"

Ryu nodded, swallowing down the lump in her throat. "Well, instead of impact being the um trigger for the explosion I separated the Potassium chlorate?" She cringed at her pronunciation but Elsa still understood nudging her head for her to continue. "Sugar, and sulfuric acid in small chambers inside the ball and here-" she pointed to the ring in the picture. "You pull and that will mix them together and give a reaction in about sixteen seconds so not entirely safe but as safe as you could get when handling chemicals that go kaboom."

It pleased Elsa enough to hum, lightly tracing the components of the diagram, studying it closer. "You–" she tapped Ryu's temple. "Are a genius." Ryu grunted and sat back in her arms.

"Not really I didn't figure out the combination Anna did–" her words died when she turned, seeing Elsa's disapproval of her sentiment. "Thank you- thank you." Ryu smiled, closing her eyes momentarily to enjoy the sensation of Elsa touching her that did not result in mild pain, she'd definitely fall asleep in two seconds.

But one second later Elsa pulled away speaking idly of her own invention to keep Anna safe from any fire injuries. From what Ryu picked up it was an ice suit she had yet to see which could withstand high temperatures in case of emergency.

"You seem so tired Gecko, why don't you get some rest while I get us dinner."

Elsa's sympathetic tone had drawn Ryu's eyes open, straightening her back in the chair, she twisted backwards to face Elsa. She didn't even realize she had dozed off in the chair, lulled to sleep by the sound of Elsa's voice. She really hadn't been keeping up with sleep and now that she thought about it other needs as well had been put aside for training and preparations.

Her jaw unhinged with a yawn that almost brought tears to her eyes. "That's okay-" she talked through it, shaking her head vigorously when it ended. "I could join you for dinner."

Smiling Elsa cooed at her, rubbing her scales gently whispering into her hair alternating between words And kisses. "Oh Ryu, you should be getting what rest you can, okay, what good will it do you if you burn yourself out?" A part of her knew Elsa was right, what use would she be to anyone if she could barely keep her eyes open.

Reluctantly she relented getting up from the chair to fall onto the bed not bothering to lay properly until she felt Elsa grab hold of her legs which hung over the edge and tuck them in.

A kiss to the head and the door clicking shut were the last things Ryu could recall before she was overtaken by sleep once more.

Her mind filled with visions of arid deserts, endless dunes of sand as vast as the sea which rocked her body to and fro. An unforgivable sun which had no mercy for any who dared to traverse those lands. Thirst, the worst thirst she had ever experienced.

There was a routine at sea that settled between the inhabitants of the ship, Anna claimed the mornings with Ryu to practice their aerial skills only giving the dragon back to Elsa by mid afternoon to watch them spar or whatever odd tasks Ryu had prepared for them that day. By dusk everyone had already exerted themselves to an intense hunger.

Though not a single person on the ship could surpass Ryu when it came to portions, Anna and Kristoff came close second place in the tally of hearty appetites, it was this fact that made their early excuses to leave dinner early– with flushed faces and cheeks tinted pink– suspicious enough to raise Elsa's brow.

Ryu paused from guzzling her stew to sniff curiously in their direction, a growl rumbled in her chest when she returned to eating, appearing bitter and envious, sharply spearing her stew with her spoon.

Confused Elsa rubbed her arm a few times, completely thrown at what could have caused such a reaction.

She'd get her answer though her curiosity would not have been as piqued if she had known what was waiting for her as she passed Anna's room door.

An odd noise stopped her leisure pace. Frowning, she pressed her ear into the door, raising her fist slowly. Concern took the forefront in her mind hearing the groan initially. Did the stew not sit well with Anna?

Oh god, she hoped her sister was in good health. As her knuckles came in contact with the wood Elsa heard the lascivious 'Kristoff' pulling back quickly with an undignified squeak. Hurriedly she raced to the upper deck, face and neck burning bright red, eyes wide like a deer in distress.

At least it wasn't nosiness, just concern. She convinced herself, leaning over the railing staring into the water. The most ludicrous part of her mind was convinced that flinging herself into the sea was a better option than facing her siblings.

"Elsa?" The familiar voice had her back stiff, just as she dreaded they had heard the knock. Elsa groaned embarrassingly, her muscles were already sore from the activities of the day, cringing as hard as she was made her body just downright painful to be in.

"Hey–" Kristoff greeted gently, Elsa suffered a glance at him and was surprised, outside of his messy hair and flushed cheeks he was well put together. If she hadn't known what he and his wife were up to she'd be none the wiser of what he had been up to. "Was that you knocking?"

Despite clearing her throat, Elsa had no words to say at the moment, simply nodding once. He joined her side, clasping his hands together.

"Is everything okay?" He asked carefully, not sounding agitated at all from the interruption. Elsa initially planned to brush off his concerns and send him back to Anna, no harm no foul but her anxieties and guilt had seized the wheel of her mind steering it in a completely different direction.

"Everything is fine I just–" she shut her eyes before continuing. "I heard a noise from your room and was concerned Anna had become ill from the sound of it and before I knew what was happening I knocked and realized what was… going on. Either way I apologize for intruding."

He blinked rapidly, turning away from Elsa, brows reaching his hairline. "Oh." His reply held a simple nature to it before he smiled lopsidedly at her. "Don't worry about it, besides the amount of times I've come across you and Ryu–" Elsa's chest tightened from ignominy, she always tried to forget about the trysts she now knew Kristoff had accidently witnessed. He nudged her elbow with his smirking.

"We can call ourselves even now I suppose." Weakly returning his grin they say for a moment in silence save for the sloshing waves and sailors manning the ship behind them.

Elsa could sense Kristoff was about to take his leave when against her better judgment a question tumbled passed her lips. "How do you do it?" She gasped and clamped them shut but it was too late.

Kristoff raised a brow to this thinking before he spoke, both he and Elsa knew she wasn't asking about the deed itself but still he played it safe and asked for clarification much to her mortification.

"Well um-" Elsa sighed, she was already this deep in the embarrassing situation she may as well start swimming. "keep up intimacy with– you know– everything going on?"

Kristoff nodded now, understanding her trepidation. "Well I… hmm. I guess, look, a lot of bad things are happening all over and that's not very good no but I'm not going to stop loving my wife or being close to her in that way because of it. Time is precious and nothing lasts forever so I'm going to use as much time as I possibly can to show her how much I love her… " he scratched the back of his neck adding. "Plus it can help with stress, there's nothing we can do right now so if I can comfort her in any way I will. Shut off the world for a little bit and let it be just us."

Just us.

Kristoff was never the best with words but Elsa always appreciated his direct style of communication, it usually made sense to her and this occasion was no different.

Watching her pondering brows knit together and eyes downcast, Kristoff gently squeezed her bicep. "I'll let you mull over that. Goodnight-" he turned back with one last thought, a smile teasing his lips. "And only knock if you need something okay?"

Elsa broke from her line of thoughts and nodded vigorously as he retreated towards the area where Sven was kept to perhaps check on him.

Elsa stayed in her mind for a while alone, wondering if Ryu was feeling in the mood for her affections with how exhausted she had been lately. She herself enjoyed their intimacy and missed it, not necessarily needing or longing for the sexual aspect of it but more so the bonding and intimate nature it gave them. Elsa dug down to find the root of her desires, deciding initially the strong pull she felt to touch Ryu was an insatiable curiosity which still lingered, more than anything she loved providing for her dragon her every need and desire. Knowing it was her hands that drove her over the edge.

Hurriedly Elsa walked to her rooms hoping that Ryu had gone there after dinner.

The breath she had been holding released itself when she entered. The room was mostly dark, the only light being the lantern sitting upon the desk Ryu sat at scribbling down something in her notebook.

Elsa crossed her arms across Ryu's chest listening intently to the way her chest inhaled, she paused and turned with a scrupulous expression.

"Kristoff?" Keeping eye contact Elsa could read the insinuating tone and gleam reflected in her pupils. She glanced down at herself, could Ryu really smell Kristoff on her and if she could… Oh.

Holding up her palms as a peace offering, sheepishly she began her explanation. "I may have accidentally come across him and Anna while they uh well–" the smirk of Ryu's lips warmed her face even more.

She chuckled, turning back to the desk finishing up what she started. "Try doing that a few more times and you may just end up even with him." Elsa sniggered quietly to the similarities of her previous conversation.

"I have no intention of that happening again, besides it's already occured… thrice." She winced openly. Enough about them, her inner mind berated, she had sought Ryu out for her own purposes.

Back on tasks her hands trailed down from Ryu's shoulders, down her arms, the purrs she could hear inspired Elsa to continue till she reached Ryu's hands, taking the one which clutched the pencil in her own way, guiding Ryu to let it down.

Elsa kissed her ear, whispering into it. "You think this could wait for a while?" Ryu's scales shivered as she faced Elsa with a serious expression. "Why?" Elsa wanted to erase the doubt she saw in those eyes, and ignite the tiny shimmer of hope.

"Because I was thinking perhaps we could–" Elsa led her kisses from Ryu's temple to her neck. They were light and teasing. Enough to lure her dragon to twist the chair towards her but subdued enough to promise there was much more to come. "Spend time together, think you could squeeze me in?"

Ryu's eyes dilated significantly, grinning, she blinked deliberately slow, which Elsa mimicked.

"You can squeeze into me as much as you want Erusa." Not only did the excited tone make Elsa break the tension with a bubbling laughter but the actual statement as well.

Despite being embarrassed, Ryu still looked quite pleased with her ability to make Elsa laugh even at her own expense.

Her next words were interrupted by Elsa's lips pressing to hers, hands clasping at her exposed neck from craning her head.

They kissed the air away from each other, Elsa left only enough for Ryu to whisper against her lips, scorching Elsa's mouth with her hot breath. "Erusa… I missed you." Elsa could understand what she meant, they had been close emotionally, supporting each other through this turbulent time and even physically through training but this, this sweet bond they shared with only each other. She admittedly missed it as well.

She kissed her hard for a second time, claiming Ryu's mouth, her tongue thrusting its way in. Her fingers dug into Ryu's throat, enticing a randy growl from her. It'd be so easy to lose herself in the dragon, those urges that Elsa had kept at bay reared their dark heads again as she held Ryu in such a vulnerable position.

Ryu must have sensed their presence as well. "Erusa–" her hand lightly grazed Elsa's arm. "Don't be gentle. You don't have to be." Elsa's heart stopped beating for a couple seconds hearing those words.

Her hesitancy was losing the battle, now instead of being pit against longings Elsa thought selfish they now faced her desires to satisfy Ryu's whims and were losing terribly.

"Are you sure?" Her voice cracked as she spoke, caressing Ryu's throat. "Hai, I'm yours Erusa." Her little nod and lust filled eyes broke the lines of Elsa's defensive propriety surging her forward to capture Ryu's lips again, roughly thrusting her tongue into her mouth to taste her, the lingering tang of stew mixed in with the smokey flavor of Ryu wasn't nearly as unpleasant as she thought it would be.

Hunched over, she cupped Ryu's breast through her loose blue tunic, pinching the nipples through the fabric, drawing a yelp which went straight into her mouth. One hand abandoned the breast to rub her stomach, she didn't linger there long, favoring to grasp and rub Ryu's crotch through her trousers.

Usually Elsa found herself frustrated at the blockade of clothing that impeded her access to Ryu's body but now it was exhilarating, outside of how they normally conducted themselves together. Elsa pondered Kristoff's words more and expanded upon his ideal.

Sex could be more for her and Ryu than just her getting her dragon to completion. "So much more." Elsa breathed audibly through her nostrils, rubbing harder. It was for them to explore together, promising more than just carnal release, the emotional, mental, physical capabilities if navigated carefully could only bring them closer.

Ryu did request I… treat her roughly, that I make her mine.

Elsa thought if that was what she wanted but her inner mind had already laughed mockingly at the very notion of her entertaining it wasn't. She had been holding back since they first kissed. Ryu had even called her out on it but didn't press further.

Suddenly Ryu was yanked out of the chair to her feet, swiveled till her body was pressed flush against Elsa's who kept on pushing until her ass was atop the desk crinkling and brushing aside the papers.

Hearing the noise Elsa pulled away from suckling harshly on Ryu's neck looking past her shoulder. "Are those important?"

"Not as important as this." Ryu rushed out biting Elsa's chin, her legs wrapped around her hips. Elsa's hand buried itself in the medium length hair that she pulled free from its tie, and she leaned down and lifted Ryu's chin up for leverage for the searing kiss, slow enough that it left them both momentarily breathless. Sucking in the air of the other greedily. They knew they didn't have forever, their forever was tonight and neither cared if the night would be wasted or the early morning so long as it was wasted with them together.

Elsa had caught her breath before Ryu, capturing the dragon's bottom lip between her teeth, growling out the word. "Mine." Hands on her body, her grip wouldn't allow even half an inch of space between them.

All Ryu could do in response was whine and moan, speaking in a trembling voice. "Yes, please Erusa! I– I missed you, so damn much these past few weeks and I need you so badly, sometimes it hurts."

Elsa gasped at the heated flush of arousal this confession caused, it was conflicting that was certain. It pained her to know her dragon had been in such turmoil but to know she needed Elsa this much… She kissed her again, pressing their bodies together. When she did separate them it was a split second when Ryu's body was whipped around, her front pushed against the desk top, her rear against Elsa's front.

One arm she used to support herself as the other reached around to grab Elsa's elegant neck, rubbing herself shamelessly against Elsa's groin.

Elsa didn't really have to work hard to get Ryu's own neglected slit throbbing with wetness beginning to slick and soften as was often the case, it took a few sultry words and kisses to make her mess, she'd be embarrassed about it later but now–

"Already so soft and wet for me Ryu." As teasing as Elsa's harsh breathy whisper was in her ear, Ryu could detect how much her readiness thrilled Elsa.

It had been far long since they last had sex in Ryu's opinion, and she felt more than a bit desperate and aching for Elsa to take her; a pining which up until now had been easier to ignore due to the war and how solemn and tired they had been, she could ignore her fatigue and sore muscles in favor to have Elsa nip and suck her wherever she pleased.

So distracted she had been Elsa missed the slurred words uttered by Ryu. "Come again my lo- darling–" she stuttered.

Ryu sobered up, speaking more clearly. "I said I needed this."

Elsa chuckled, running her fingertip down Ryu's spine. She really needed to get these clothes off of her. It was fun for a time but now it was an annoyance. "I know."

Ryu shook her head, clenching her fist and eyes shut. "No-" the quake in her voice had Elsa pausing her ministrations of caresses.

"Ryu?"

"I had a horrible nightmare, that Sussanoo and I were in the desert, he said I was his and always was, to destroy, his great sacrifice."

That explains her request tonight.

Elsa kissed the back of her head, nuzzling into her hair. "No sweetheart, you don't belong to anyone, you're not owned." There was a furious determination and loathing in her tone not directed at Ryu. Elsa almost regretted her previous behavior had Ryu not refused this adamantly.

"I know I'm not owned but… but I want to be yours, cause you won't destroy me, you care for me and I want to be yours to care for Erusa… please make me yours."

Elsa's gripping of Ryu's hips and rear end had become more possessive now, her fingers kneading and squeezing her full hips, digging in with force as she held her to her in her arms. Ryu's back hit the bedsheets roughly as Elsa leaned over her and took full control of their embrace. The sudden surge of abnormal behavior had Ryu wondering if there was more than her own wishes that fueled Elsa's actions as they kissed frantically– she didn't know if it were possible but still–

Is Elsa jealous of Sussanoo?

Ryu knew Elsa was not as forgiving as she was towards her former brother and could keep the wrathful contempt she had for him hidden well enough but still... She shook her head. The passion must have originated from the denial and suppression for weeks they had endured, and Ryu knew she was even more hungry for Elsa's touch as Elsa apparently was for her.

"I want you now Erusa," Ryu growled, taking some control by gripping her shoulders tight enough to leave marks, grinding against her as they kissed. "Touch all of me, human." she demanded.

Elsa would get her back later for the sass, hands already tugging impatiently at the knotted belt around her waist. She sucked her teeth in frustration. "Good grief Ryu, you don't tie belts like sashes, you buckle them." Ryu giggled at Elsa's exasperation.

"I don't know how to." Elsa rolled her eyes, after a few attempts her patience dissipated enough for her to create a knife to angrily saw through the leather mumbling how Arendelle was doomed to a belt shortage if Ryu kept it up.

The moment the belt fell away, she lifted her hips for Elsa to yank it off but it only made it halfway down, revealing part of her completely naked lower body… as well as the delicate entrance calling to Elsa with each twitch and flutter it made.

Elsa's gaze zeroed in, her eyes dilated as she looked down and saw her bare scales.

"Ryu!" Elsa berated gripping her nape, she tried to seem displeased and scandalized, but Ryu could see that feral look of arousal betraying her. "How many times do I have to tell you to wear under garments!"

Ryu crossed her arms not feeling a lick of shame. "No."

Elsa met her challenge, roughly spreading her legs and pulling them to press Ryu's center against her cold white tights.

"Yes."

That smirk would be the death of her, raising to her elbows Ryu kept her lips just an inch away from Elsa's. "I don't know what you're complaining about–" a single finger traced over Elsa's thin blue sweater. Ryu's voice dripped from her mouth like poisonous honey. "It's easy access for you."

The shudder which nearly overtook her, Elsa masked it with indifference. "Easy access huh? With your belt tied tighter than the Megingjörð around Thor's waist?"

Ryu shrugged, running her open mouth over the column of Elsa's throat. "Gives you a challenge."

Elsa groaned with a sick concoction of dismay and enamorment at the failed logic before lifting Ryu's shirt, leaning down and sucking one of the exposed nipples into her mouth, proving that Ryu's breasts were her favorite physical aspect to play with. From her avid desperate sucks and nips with her chilly mouth and tongue, she was like an animal finally catching their long awaited prey.

Elsa's cheeks hollowed from the forceful suckle on Ryu's nipple pinching and rolling its fat pebbled neighbor, spearing Ryu with a lance of pain mixing in deliciously with pleasure to all her other neglected parts.

Her yelp cut short by a hand clasping her mouth shut. "Quiet baby. As much as I love hearing you, so will anyone nearby." When Elsa returned to her previous task Ryu thrusted her chest upward, allowing herself to remain completely open and willing to Elsa's hungry maw, writhing and squirming held down by the weight atop her, overstimulated but this was exactly what she wanted no longer wanting to be comfortable but pushed to her limits.

The idea that she had come this far from not allowing anyone to touch her to now permitting and trusting Elsa enough to hurt her warmed her thoroughly.

"Ah! Erusa, fuc-" Elsa was torn between praises and rebuke. Her words sounded jumbled.

"So beautiful– mind your– watch your mouth young lady." Elsa mumbled against her nipple, licking her with a flat, cold tongue, switching to the other breast she had yet to taste. Ryu chuckled past her moans. How Elsa managed to remain Elsa; so wonderful, funny, loving, gentle, kind, yet unrelenting, searing Ryu with a piercing heat, stubborn, commanding, so many things she could be at once.

Making Ryu feel alive yet like she died and went to heaven, cold hands burning her all the same. Soft as she devoured the flesh offered to her.

The care she put into Ryu's other breast; sweet, sapid kisses combined with her tongue were reverently maddening. So gentl–

"Ā, kuso jigoku!" The sharp bite on the already sensitive bud had Ryu convulsing, drawn between pulling back or spasming upward into Elsa repentant; kissing the red nipple.

She couldn't have been too sorry however since she repeated the action again and again. Cracking open one eye to spy if this was too much, to silence Ryu's cries Elsa's mouth was upon her own speaking between lip presses that muffled her screams. "I know baby, I'm sorry, I'm almost done– just let me… ah. Please. I'm almost done I promise." Elsa returned to licking both breasts, squeezing them together.

Ryu's stomach rose rapidly, this was all too much but still not enough. She took to grinding her lower body against Elsa's thigh to relieve some of the lightning that coursed down from her spine to her toes. The way Elsa licked and sucked her body like it was fruit, a sweet fruit, was driving her insane.

She must have spoken her mind aloud to have Elsa moaning. "Yes you are like a fruit, a peach, strawberries, watermelon in the summer, so delicious. Here see?" Elsa took Ryu's hand and placed it upon her own breast.

"Eh." Ryu, using the moment as an excuse to get a break from Elsa's fixation of her chest, merely shrugged, not understanding the fuss.

Elsa huffed, smacking her wrists away. "Oh you just, hush you." Finally Elsa freed her chest from her teeth which Ryu promised to never secretly laugh at for being dull again. Those teeth had her overwhelmed and dazed.

Elsa was breathing measured but her expression ferocious, azure darkened with desire, her features stunning in the lantern's dim light. Ryu felt both alerted and relaxed in Elsa's clutches half naked, honestly she was surprised her clothes had lasted this-

"Get rid of this." Elsa pouted, tugging her pants off followed by prompting Ryu to sit up to throw her shirt somewhere unknown.

"Can I see you?" She froze at Ryu's quiet inquiry. "I won't touch, I promise. I just want to see." Elsa thought about it then shockingly her fingers slowly went to the laces of her shirt. Ryu covered her eyes with her fingers smiling at the giggle she had gained from Elsa.

"Just this for right now alright?" Ryu nodded, she'd never push Elsa into anything intimate.

Elsa forced herself to let go of the tension coiled in her shoulders and stomach, letting herself relax remembering this was Ryu, her Ryu, allowing herself to be exposed and half naked without fear. She trembled with the overwhelming need to cover up. She supposed it'd be okay to just leave her shirt open. She took sharp inhales, she could be brave enough to do this, now no matter how nerve wrecking it felt, she could always button back up and recreate her brassiere if need be.

It was what Elsa wanted truly, someone who accepted all that she was. All parts of her.

Instead of speaking she gripped Ryu's wrists pulling her hands away from her eyes.

Ryu's stare fell to her chest, the needy whimper that escaped her closed mouth from the sight and the way she shifted filled Elsa with remorse that she knew what Ryu was whining for and relief that her body was acceptable to her.

Her dragon had shown enough restraint to earn all the pleasure Elsa was capable of giving.

Ryu looked beyond herself frustrated, jovial, shy still, sometimes averting her gaze, and reverent all at once. It was gorgeous to Elsa.

Launching forward, Elsa lay across Ryu's body with her own, adding a protective layer over her. Feeling the soaking press of her center against her thigh.

"Darn it, you're so-," Elsa's hands were everywhere groping and pinching.

Elsa allowed Ryu to distract herself with a line of suckling nips that would surely leave a necklace of love marks tomorrow but she'd worry about that later when their minds weren't solely focusing on the other and pulsing fire growing between them.

Ryu yipped as she was twirled over onto her stomach without an ounce of gentleness, ripped from Elsa's neck reasserting her dominance Ryu granted her, she still tried protesting but Elsa pushed her back down roughly. Whispering in her ear. Ryu barely heard her over her growls. "Behave." She was trying! Something inside demanded she fight back and try to take the position from Elsa. The urge was snuffed out when she felt Elsa bite her nape harshly. Her growls soon turned into purring.

Her supplication was rewarded with strokes to her sex which shuddered and softened further. A Pavlovian response, dripping with molten heat.

Ryu's breath hitched when she felt a cool finger breach her entrance but as quickly as it entered it left. Ryu whined, growing petulant as the shallow treatment continued. "Erausa–"

"Mm what baby?" She sounded much too pleased with herself. "Is this alright? I've never had you like this."

"This is…fine but you're teasing."

"I know, what, you don't like to be teased?"

Ryu shook her head when words failed her. Elsa's other hand played down the mane going to her spine. "So it'd be mean if I continued on doing this is what you're expressing to me?"

She nodded, growling and rising to her knees when Elsa repeated the mischievous deed of barely entering her.

Elsa palmed Ryu's ass, sinking her fingers into the globes that decorated her, she maneuvered them up and down transfixed by the view this new angle afforded her.

She had been down here before but never actually looked at all the parts of Ryu, her rear entrance had been exposed, pink like a rose and and occasionally puckering every time Elsa's palms would graze up and down her thighs, thumbs resting in the dimples of where her thighs met her ass.

The longer Elsa stared at it idly moving her hands the more she wanted in. Grand Pabbie's books and notes hadn't touched on the topic. It was entirely unexplored, there were numerous outcomes that could be born if Elsa chose to pursue her curiosity, she could give Ryu sensations neither of them thought possible. She wanted to show her affections for all sides of Ryu in and out, needing every bit of her to be touched and soaked in Elsa's very being as she seeped into every part of her dragon.

"Erusa? You okay?" Ryu asked when she hadn't yet made a move or spoken entranced by the forbidden place that lay before her. Ryu twisted her upper body around studying Elsa's face. A blush overtook the usually unabashed dragon when she noticed what Elsa was so intently staring at.

Elsa answered with a kiss on one of her supple butt cheeks, ending it with a swipe across the skin to taste her. Ryu shut her eyes tightly, trilling in a way that encouraged Elsa.

"Ryu? Have you ever– have you ever been in here?" Whether or not Elsa was using the question as an excuse to run her finger across Ryu's anus was lost on her but she couldn't bring herself to ask directly.

Ryu jumped as expected when contact was made, both from the cold temperature of Elsa's hand and the foreign sensation. "No, I mean I sat on a pointy rock once and it hurt but that's about it. I guess when I wash– but I don't think that's what you mean no?" Elsa smiled gently, shaking her head.

"Why do you ask?" Elsa blew out a cloud of mist to calm her nerves, bracing to present her thirst to traverse the uncharted territory.

"I'm curious if maybe… it could possibly feel nice if I–" her hand cupped Ryu's cheek motioning it in a circle. Her meaning was either lost to Ryu or she wanted to hear Elsa say it directly, a raised brow signaling for Elsa to elaborate. "Went in there, possibly if you're interested."

She could have sworn Ryu and all of those on the boat with them could hear her thundering heartbeat. Ryu stared her down for one uncomfortable minute, her stoic face softened and she turned back over, carefree as usual. "Knock yourself out Erusa."

"Really?" An eager quiver shook her voice.

"Mhm. I said all of me is yours so I guess my ass is too." Ryu made Elsa wince at the crude language, still she needed the utmost clarification but she'd kick herself if Ryu changed her mind. "Are you sure?"

"I trust you." Ryu whimpered, nibbling the spot behind her ear. All of a sudden her rampaging heartbeats stilled, as if taking a moment to revel in the awe of Ryu's plain, simple, warm confession.

"Okay I need something to lubricate you." Elsa began frantically looking around, she knew only a small bit about what she was going to do; it could be painful, and was quite taboo in practice. Why did that only excite her even more?

Am I a deviant? A sexual deviant.

Allowed to turn over Ryu latched onto Elsa's neck before could rise from the bed to look through their luggage. Elsa chuckled, prying the dragon's fingers from her shoulders. "Ryu–" she cooed. "I have to get you ready."

Ryu whined, thrusting her hips up wantonly against Elsa's warranting both pity and arousal from her. "I think I'm ready enough already."

Elsa was tempted to abandon her experiment and pleasure Ryu right then and there with how close she clung to her, but her inquisitiveness would not be silenced, not this time.

"Just g-give me a minute okay?" With a swift peck Elsa escaped Ryu's clutches, nearly tumbling off the bed, tripping on Ryu's dreadful pants, she scowled at the article of clothing seeking revenge for being discarded so carelessly.

Elsa's search led her to the closet, her hands fumbled and eyes darted across any bottles of creams and lotions she had brought along feeling utterly under prepared. She hadn't planned to have a sexual encounter with Ryu on this trip and certainly couldn't ask Anna and Kristoff that would be too scandalizing.

"Ah-ha!" She triumphantly stood, holding a bottle of some plain lotion found in her trunk. She hated the mess of it she created but that could always be cleaned later.

She took the water basin and soap along as well placing it at the side of the bed.

The hurry she was in didn't impede Elsa from stopping to watch intently as Ryu rubbed her finger down from her soaking center to her backside a couple of times.

"What exactly are you doing?" Elsa asked cupping her chin, eyes never leaving Ryu's peculiar motions.

Ryu hissed in through her teeth. "You said I had to be lubricated so I–um–" Her finger slipped past her folds. Elsa could see the willpower melting off of Ryu like snow on the first day of summer. "I– uh." The sounds of her fingering herself filled the room and had Elsa rushing to the bed to pull her wrists up, pinning them above her head, body draping itself across Ryu's to hold her still.

"Ah, ah, ah, no-" as pleasant as it was to watch, Elsa needed Ryu aroused, sensing that it would make the process easier. "Don't touch yourself baby, that's my job." Elsa half jested kissing her growls of frustration away.

Traveling downward once she was assured Ryu would keep her hands elsewhere, Elsa's nostrils flared, peppering Ryu's hips and thighs with featherlight pecks, twisting her to lay on her side. Drawing back there was her target. She gulped thickly. Hesitating for a moment, nerves suddenly seizing a hold of her for a different reason.

"Erusa what now?" Ryu complained ending in rough draconic snarl, Elsa was really testing the limits of her patience.

"I don't want to hurt you." She admitted feeling silly and unnecessary with the thoughts that plagued her.

If I do this… I'll be a sodomite, I'm about to sodomize Ryu.

A blush, that didn't have anything to do with the heat rising in her blood, blossomed across her face and neck. Her confidence faded as she bit her lower lip.

Ryu, coming to her senses somewhat, placed a hand on Elsa's that was clutching the lotion, claiming her attention again from her own mind. "It's not as if you'll be in there forever, just pull out," she panted. "P-pull out if it becomes too painful for me I'll let you know."

Taking Elsa's hand she pulled it to her rear. Leaning down Elsa's tongue did a quick swipe of Ryu's slit, sliding fully inside as she opened the bottle to spread the lotion across her left finger. Licking against her walls, rubbing, searching for what felt like a delirious amount of time before withdrawing to slurp back inside again.

A hedonistic relief overtook them both with raw pleasure, especially when Elsa bit her outter lip lewdly.

Ryu muffled her cries into a pillow she buried her face, her intensely burning nethers finally cooled by Elsa's questing tongue, unconsciously humping back against Elsa's mouth which set her on fire and froze her thoughts at the same time. She felt herself being yanked and propped up on a pillow Elsa managed to get a hold of. She divided her attention between licking Ryu's walls and squirting more of the lotion into her hand.

Ryu's back arched unconsciously, as if– Elsa began thinking, she was presenting herself to her. Elsa felt a surge of pride swell in her chest from knowing how difficult it was to get a female dragon to such a state, moaning nonstop, her body prompting her hips to buck against the pillow beneath her. Her tail wrapping itself around either Elsa's wrists or torso.

She jolted in Elsa's hold, trembling when she felt something massage the sensitive area just besides where Elsa's mouth resided working tirelessly. The soft tip of Elsa's knuckle went further until it pressed against the tight pucker of her anus. Stimulating the rim of muscle which tightened, making Elsa moan around the warm, wet, grip of Ryu.

Now with her fully distracted, she inserted her finger tip slowly in and out. "Relax, baby," she said, tickling Ryu before entering again. Continuing the treatment until she felt Ryu submit and relax.

Capturing her lower lip between her teeth Elsa pushed the tip of her index finger through the tight ring of muscle, sucking air sharply through her mouth when her digit was buried inside a godly tight heat.

Momentarily she abandoned her work on Ryu's cleft to take in the way she felt the inner walls of her ass work and adjust to her. "Erusa!" She couldn't make out the Japanese Ryu babbled into her pillow.

Elsa began thrusting her finger in and out, summarizing that in this place Ryu was the tightest.

The trance was broken by an inquisitive tone from Ryu. "I didn't catch that Gecko, what?" Elsa asked, feeling dazed from the temperature differences.

Ryu lifted her face from the pillow. "Is this a normal practice among humans?" Elsa pondered this carefully, she supposed it was technically speaking but was usually looked down upon as sinful but she was already past the precipice of ever entering heaven, giving up her ticket for more worldly pleasures.

"I suppose it is yes, are you alright? Is this painful?" She waited to reinsert her finger until Ryu answered in a murmur.

"It's not painful, jus' not used to it yet." Nodding Elsa decided to stop being completely indulgent and began pleasuring both holes which bewitched her.

"Mine…" Both so wrong for her to claim as her own but knowing that something deemed so morally disgraceful by societal norms produced a sick thrill within her.

Nibbling at Ryu's slit with the hunger of a hunter feasting on their prey but instead of bringing death it brought euphoric bliss to her quarry.

Ryu's anus must have adjusted enough to stretch from her thrusts and presses, sucking her finger in deeply.

Ryu's answering mewl was the most satisfying feeling to overcome Elsa at the moment.

Experimentally, her probing finger curled inside, gasping when the hot flesh clung even more adamantly to her.

"Erusa!"

Ryu's tremulous gasps worked her lungs overtime to keep her breathing, still stubbornly begging for more.

She pushed her digit to its knuckle, timing the massages to her walls with her tongue.

"Yes, Ryu, good girl, so good for me, finish just like this." Elsa slurred into her.

As much as Elsa desired to have Ryu come in her mouth she wanted to feel it against the entirety of her own body. Keeping a single finger still inside her spasming core. She climbed between her legs pressing their bodies so tight against each other she swore they could have become one.

Every twitch, muscle convulse, felt beneath her, even Ryu's tail winded around her leg, and fingers dug into shoulders, squeezing hard enough to leave bruises. As if every part of Ryu's body never wanted to let her go. Elsa didn't care and was too focused on who was hers.

Elsa moaned happily, her fingers nearly white where they were gripping Ryu's thigh keeping it hooked around her hips.

Did Elsa's fingers grow during the duration of their refrain of intimacy? Ryu knew that was impossible, Elsa was done growing as she stated a month ago when asked, that didn't mean her sore but still weeping insides did not feel stretched and thoroughly explored. She felt the trembling quivers begin to increase in recession with each plunge Elsa took.

Ryu felt as though her soul was leaving her body, called out by Elsa's magic which draped the room in swirling snow flurries. Crystals dancing in the air jubilant in a crescendoing dance.

Eventually the pumping of her fingers were stopped by Ryu's clenching, throbbing, wet, hot, cold, and exhausted insides. Her fangs had already pierced Elsa's porcelain skin, uninhibited, in Elsa's hold. She pressed her sweaty forehead to Elsa's shoulder, comforted by the petting of her lover in her sweat soaked messy hair, who kept her sane. Ryu closed her eyes, soothed as she came down from her orgasm.

Elsa.

The one who took her from hell and brought her back again then to heavenly bliss.

Heaven, hell, what difference did it make at this point, anyways when she was with Elsa?

Elsa sensually rolled her hips against Ryu removing her slicked finger wiping it across the bed. Somehow Elsa managed to scooch over to wash her hands with Ryu as a barnacle– attached to her side.

Now cleaned she could thread her fingers into Ryu's hair fingers carefully working to detangle the knots, stroking her scalp.

As Ryu shyly looked up, with Elsa's hand pulling her chin upward their lips met in an open mouth kiss. Moaning low in her throat.

"Can I try something now?" She felt Elsa stiffen underneath her understandably. She took no offense sitting up. Elsa worried large eyes followed her every move.

"You trust me?" She asked, grinning softly. A painstakingly long second passed before Elsa nodded.

"Alright then–" her kind and tranquil, raspy voice which cracked every now and then filled the quiet ambiance pleasantly. It was Ryu's turn to experiment and test a theory which had been buzzing in her mind since they had started sparring.

Her fingers barely added pressure tracing patterns in the exposed skin of Elsa's arms to her shoulders. Ryu felt how tense she was under her touch and spoke again just barely above a whisper.

"Shh, calm down Erusa, I am not going to hurt you or touch you anywhere you don't like. If I do, tell me and I will stop."

"What exactly are you doing?" Ryu shrugged just following what seemed to get the best reaction and shiver out of Elsa, tiny bumps erupted all over her skin.

"I noticed during sparring that whenever I whispered or touched you a certain way you'd kind of… go into a daze and your eyes would unfocus but you seem to like it so… should I keep going?"

Elsa nodded again letting Ryu continue examining her skin as they made soft conversation which led up to Ryu's past.

"Did he really say those awful things to you?"

In spite of the downer direction it took Ryu would not allow her memories or the emotions that came with them to ruin what she and Elsa just shared, were sharing currently.

"Ah hai, not directly to me but I overheard it." Elsa grabbed her wrists running circles with her thumbs over her pliable scales. "I won't ever let him hurt you again. I'm so sorry Ryu." Ryu knew that already, what she couldn't understand was the supposed guilt which shrouded Elsa whenever they spoke on the topic. She hadn't even known Ryu existed let alone dragons, so why take emotional responsibility for tragedies that she wasn't involved in.

In the grand scheme of things she knew Elsa's plan, Ryu heard her whisper sweet promises to her in her sleep until they seeped into the dreams she would have and birth beautiful visions of their future. Ryu just wished everything wasn't so blurry and faded when it happened.

Come to think of it… all my dreams about the future with Elsa have been blurry.

Shooing away the inconsequential thought she focused on the task at hand. Massaging Elsa's muscles, purposefully making soothing purring and trill sounds in her throat and chest.

"Heh, Elsa, you are trying to make up so much for my past... But meeting you, being with you, it has been more than enough."

Elsa blinked her lids open lazily, making that confused expression Ryu loved so much. "Huh? What do you mean Ryu?"

How could she explain clearly enough for Ela to understand all that she was to her. Switching to Japanese helped Ryu articulate herself much easier, speaking slowly for Elsa. "Past me only waited for one thing. Death and I've been delaying it for reasons I didn't know but now I do."

Elsa egged her on to answer the implicative cliffhanger she left her on.

"I was waiting for you." This had caught her attention enough, shifting her focus from the pleasant tingles that scattered from her crown down her spine, making her limbs feel heavy and mind drift off down a river of relaxation.

"You knew you would meet me in the future, is that your magic?" Elsa's Japanese, though broken from her half-dazed state, still communicated enough for Ryu to catch on and ignore her poor grammar for now but still made her chuckle.

"No I had no idea but it comforts me that my efforts to stay alive were far from meaningless." She brushed stray hairs from Elsa's forehead lingering on keeping it between her fingers. "I always thought my life would be just me climbing a mountain with boulder after boulder hurled at me, just for me to make it to the top and there be nothing there, just a vast emptiness that would make all my efforts seem in vain…"

Not many would guess Ryu was a well learned individual, her pronunciations and sentence fluency broken but Elsa could concur she was far better at learning languages then she herself, having learned quite a few from just listening and mimicking what she could. She still spoke much more formally in Japanese than all the others.

Cupping her cheek, Elsa brushed her thumb across Ryu's cheek. "What is at the top of your mountain Ryu?"

The smile that decorated Ryu's face was so beautiful Elsa wished she could have seen it in the sunlight instead of the dim lantern glow.

"That's the thing Elsa, I haven't reached its peak yet but even from down here with you I can see my ascension was not in vain. I am a fugitive Elsa. There is no doubt I murdered my master and his son. I will bring nothing but trouble and possibly pain and being here with you- this is the most selfish thing I could ever do…" Quickly her hands ceased touching Elsa and flew up to wipe all tears away before they could escape, sniffling to clear her already stuffed nostrils. Elsa couldn't stop herself from bopping the tip of her nose causing Ryu to giggle.

"But I can't leave, I can't-" Ryu looked down at the sheets more so, admitting it to herself crestfallen. Impotent to the shackles of fate which tethered her to not just Elsa but Arendelle. Elsa had a sneaking suspicion that even if Ryu was presented with a key she wouldn't take it.

"I want to make you happy and keep you safe more than anything I've ever desired in my whole life. I desire it more than even-" the frog in her throat was gulped down. Ryu feebly smiled at Elsa, catching that she had allowed her passion to run away with her. She returned to speaking Elsa's native tongue.

"If I had the choice to go back and redo my entire life Erusa knowing what I know now I'd... I'd abandon my function to my family and serve you knowing what I know now but if I didn't know what I know now then… I'd go through it all and then some if it puts me right here right now."

How could Elsa have created a response to that, to Ryu's declaration of her devotion to Elsa. There was no hyperbolizing, no lies, no influences, just raw genuine emotion which terrified the dragon to realize and say aloud.

She had always let Elsa know how she felt towards her even before she understood the feelings herself, a small part of her maybe hoping Elsa would make sense of them but she never could.

"This was more than a gib. You got stabbed!"

"I was there, I know. But I would have done it all over again if I had to-"

"But why?"

"Why? Cause I like you."

"Be serious."

"I am. I would have done this again and again cause I like you."

"Wha- why Ryu why all of this for me?"

She watched an empty space in the room towards the door, ending her pontificating with a sigh, shrugging her shoulders up to her ears.

"Why? Because Eursa you are the only human I've ever encountered who has been truly kind to me the first and only, without you I wouldn't be alive. Humans see only good and evil and I didn't know I had to pick-" sitting up to her knees, she excitedly cradled Elsa's hand with her own, going back to Japanese again without realizing.

"But you Elsa, you see me as something not good and not evil. You see me as me and have come to care about me. And I you but I suppose it's easier for me since you're just outright good."

Without saying a word Elsa moved according to the electricity Ryu's bolt had shot through her with words and passion, they were frightened and aroused, the skin, the rush pulsing through their veins as their mouths moved together and tongues grazed the other in passing.

Fatigue and sore limbs long forgotten.

Elsa, invigorated by Ryu's words, used her mouth to herd the dragon back on her back.

Taking any further words right out of Ryu's mouth.

As the women entangled themselves touching and fondling snowflakes colors of indigo, pinks, and blues danced above them infusing to create kaleidoscopes of rainbows.

The creak of old iron hinges may have been disturbing for many, reminding them of dungeons, captivity, or any other unpleasant likenesses, for Georg being the man of the world he was, he found himself in a vast array of situations and lived to tell the tale. So residing in this outdated, cold, abandoned stronghold deep in winter did not nettle him in the slightest. He could still accomplish his work and planning, using the cold that made his bones brittle and lips dry as a reminder of the goal. Though it was not her cold.

He hated to admit it quietly to himself but Elsa's chilly aura was pleasant… until it wasn't.

Her magic was breathtakingly beautiful, until it froze an entire human, an entire nation into a solid tomb. The ability gave her not just the power over the natural forces of winter, but life and even time itself.

Far too superior of a power to be held by a single individual let alone a woman prone to hysteria. Speaking of–

"Mr. Scherer–" Darya's inopportune intrusion to the the comfortable silence with her shrill voice of panic and bright embroidered dress of reds and black shimmering with speckles of gold made her conspicuous, contrasting in the dark gray stone room. Instead of the scent of iron and dust her perfumes wafted through the air in toxic plumes tickling George's nose nearly suffocating him.

With her hands clasped under her dainty chin, she closed her eyes, from the rise and fall of her generous breast she seemed to be saying a silent prayer requesting patience from whomever she worshiped to calm her ill temper.

"Please tell me how are we to win a holy war when the Vulgarians have been slaughtering our men with a giant-" her hand animatedly waved about trying to find the words to describe the monster. "Green Rock abomination, whose hide cannot be pierced by our weapons?"

Georg's laodicean demeanor only infuriated her more as he continued on writing his letter not even looking up to acknowledge her presence.

"Princess, I am a dei cacciatori, a man called by our Lord and Savior to rid the world of Humans who have strayed too far from his path in favor of making a covenant with Satan and have power because of it." Now she held his eyes, he folded his hands together resting them where his letter once sat. "I am not a monster hunter. Besides, the Heathens are suffering casualties of their own from the creature. Either it is some magical atrocity they have lost control of or it is a force that is beyond either side of this conflict, which it might behoove you to remember was started by you."

Darya's face reddened, antagonism struck out upon her features, one side of her was relieved to hear that the fools who could not see reason, still clinging to their pledge to her mother were also suffering. The other frightened that the abomination could possibly be a rogue variable no one could predict or overcome, one that would tear her beloved empire asunder. Innocents could perish, years and generations of work made by the sweat of the brow, and blood of the body, demolished.

She hid the doubt which seeded into her deep down, holding her head high. "Well, what exactly are we going to do about it?"

"i do not know what you will do about it–"

Darya scoffed, throwing her hands in the air. "You won't help us? I hire–"

"You hired me to hunt a witch, and hunt a witch I am." Gathering his belongings nearly he stood to his impressive height. "The fate of your nation and people, even the crown, are of no concern to me, princess. You have acted hastily in spite of your machiavellian talents I have seen you possess. The crown would have been upon your brow the moment the queen was disposed of, she should have been your target quietly and discreetly. Instead you split the empire in half and now are dealing with forces that go beyond your paranoia."

Darya swallowed harshly, glaring at his broad back as he moved towards the heavy wooden, stopping him in his departure. "It is not paranoia, that is stupid and unreasonable. It is fear. Well placed in a woman who can take over the world if she so willed it–"

"Yet she does not want it!" His sudden brash voice made Darya jump back from him now pinned beneath his beady stare. "I know the anomaly that is Elsa; she is a sinner, a possible sapphic tribad– if her history for rebuffing all male attentions is anything

to go by, she is a threat to all and very powerful but I have spent enough time with her to know that she is no monster. If not for the greater good I would respect her wishes and leave her to frolic in the forest and do as she pleases in peace–" Darya's down-casted eyes told him she believed it as well.

"But we both know I can't do that, don't we?" He left her in a silent room with a loud mind.

No one said the greater good would be an easy path to follow but it was an absolute necessity that many did not heed to for their own hedonistic reasons.

Her mother always taught her that when leading the one in power never looked back at those who followed, less they lost the path in front of them and tripped all who trailed behind.

And where was that old fool now? Hiding away behind her armies and allies to protect an ancient peace of history for what? Her own gluttonous boredom, her lust for the exotic and unorthodox.

Fist clenched Dayra lassoed in her resolve.

One life that was all it took in hindsight.

One life; that if they had a bad day could end thousands.

One life ended to possibly save those thousands. The numbers didn't lie, they never did.
