Atmos…

World of a thousand islands known as Terra. Forged from the fiery chaos of the wastelands and rose to the very heavens of the world. From the creations of Terras, came the discovery of civilization, and from that came the discovery of crystals and the invention of flight. Thus, came the birth of Sky Knights, warriors of the wing to forever defend against the darkness and to forever bring the light. Oh, for there was so much darkness, monsters… pirates, vandals, beings of pure darkness, and then came the Empire of Shadows, Cyclonia, and the dynasty of masters with powers beyond any understanding.

Not too long ago came the War of Grim, when the Cyclonians began their attack in all of Atmos, taking over territories, one by one. The Sky Knights did not take this lying down, for the Leader of the Storm Hawks, the greatest of all the Sky Knights Squadrons rallied his brothers and sisters to take up the cause of protecting their home. Lightning Strike led the charge against the capital of Atmos With the great power of the hero, he sliced through the army with ease as his men flew by his side!

But alas… it was not meant to be.

"Go! Go! Find the Master and-!" Lightning Strike ordered but then saw the shadow before him.

He turned around to see his trustworthy co-pilot, raising his own sword to strike.

"You shouldn't have done this, Strike. You shouldn't have done any of this. I like what we had, but you did this to yourself." He breathed to him.

"Ace?"

"Goodbye."

He stuck him down from the back and Lightning Strike, the ever brave, ever legendary hero, the Greatest Sky Knight of them all, fell, was felled, betrayed by the one person who he trusted to be his co-pilot, plummeting to the Wastelands below with his shield. The traitor then turned to his former squadron.

"It had been fun, you know. But that time is over… things are changing, I change. I know better now…" He calmly told them.

"Ace, how could you?!"

"Catch him! Don't let him get away!"

"Kill the traitor!"

The squadron tried to attack, but the young knight knew they wouldn't understand as he shook his head.

"Of course, you don't understand. Goodbye."

We equipped the red strike stone with the sword and with one violent swing!

It was over in minutes. Ships fell… the Condor fell… the Storm Hawks fell….

Cyclonia has won.

The traitor was led to the palace, where the Master, the Dark Lady, Anarchis Cyclonis with her darling Granddaughter under her care. The guards left them then the traitor bowed on one knee to her.

There was a moment of silence.

"The Storm Hawks and Condor fell." He informed the master.

"I know." She monotonously acknowledged.

"Lightning Strike is defeated."

"I know." She acknowledged again but this time, she smirked, "Now we can begin."

The traitor would soon be known as the Infamous Dark Ace… terror of Atmos.

All seemed lost.

But Fate still played her hand for the light of Lightning Strike was never lost. For there would be an heir of the Storm Hawks, the flesh and blood of Lightning Strike himself, still roaming in the world.

Present time in the Aurora Crystal Chamber…

Such power and beauty resided within this little stone, such energy unlike any other crystal before and after… secrets with the deepest meaning and a shield to the people of Atmosia. This stone, founded fourteen years ago by the departed Storm Hawks became the very symbol of the capital, the very heart of all that was good. It was truly something to be in awe of and treasured. Governor Enfield stared deeply at the stone which levitated with powers unknown to most. He shifted his glasses to diagnose the stone carefully… he needed to be certain, to be sure as time had changed the stone. The protectors of the stone, The Red Eagles, did not see why for these inspections.

"The power is growing stronger." The Governor muttered as the energy seemed to have a life of its own.

"Sir, if you don't mind me saying, I don't see any changes in the Aurora Stone. It always seemed to be the same as it always been." Carver pointed out, though he had to admit, this little stone was quite impressive.

"There are many things you don't understand about its secrets and one day you will understand them, but right now, for the moment, the stone's power must remain here." The Governor ordered, knowing he would need to bring this up to the council about this.

Soon, one of the guards appeared.

"Um sir, sorry to interrupt but it's your son-."

"Let me guess, he and his friends are out there, again."

"…Yes sir."

The governor grumbled in frustration, "Confound it, Aerrow!"

"Zeke will get them, especially since his own kid is involved," Carver suggested while Ezekiel Leone scoffed.

"Oi, it's not my fault that my kid's awesomeness cannot be contained! Oh and of course your kid too, Governor." He protested but the governor was not amused.

"Just bring them back for a proper scolding… and whatever Cyclionian Fleet they manage to wrangle." He ordered.

"Yes sir."

The Red Eagle then left to collect… the latest Storm Hawks.
