In the dimly lit cavern of Bowser's lair, flickering flames cast an eerie glow against the stone walls, illuminating the towering figure of Bowser himself. Clad in his imposing armor, he nonetheless wore an unexpected white top hat that seemed to humorously contrast with his fierce persona. In his massive hands, he held a bouquet of outrageously vibrant Piranha Plants, their toothy mouths snapping in anticipation.

"Princess Peach... Here we are..." Bowser chuckled nervously, a sound that echoed through the chamber. With an uncharacteristically gentle gesture, he extended the bouquet toward an imaginary Peach, a defensiveness mixing with his sincerity. "I guess... love really makes a guy come out of his shell..."

However, the cheerful mood shifted dramatically as the Piranha Plants began to thrash wildly, their snapping jaws creating a cacophony of sound. With a frustrated growl, Bowser hurled the bouquet to the floor, crushing the plants beneath his heavy foot with a resounding thud.

Taking a deep breath to steady himself, Bowser spoke with conviction, "Let's rule the world. Together. Forever." He extended a hand as if inviting an unseen princess into an eternal partnership, his eyes burning with determination. "Will you marry me?"

In a comically absurd moment, Bowser was depicted practicing his proposal with Kamek, who was absurdly dressed in a frilly pink gown and a tiara, mimicking Princess Peach. "Oh, yes!" Kamek squealed enthusiastically, clearly enjoying the role.

Suddenly, the atmosphere was disrupted by the abrupt entrance of a Koopa general, his blue shell glistening with spikes as he pushed the heavy door open with firm authority. "Ahem," he declared, commanding attention.

"What?!" Bowser and Kamek exclaimed in unison, their voices laced with irritation.

"We have located the princess and her human companion," the Koopa general announced, his tone serious and urgent. "They have defeated Donkey Kong and seized control of the Kong army."

Bowser's demeanor shifted; a hint of anxiety crept into his voice as he questioned, "So, like, Peach was super impressed?"

"It appears so, yes," the Koopa general confirmed, a touch of satisfaction in his voice. "They are making their way toward a secret passage!"

A sly grin crept across Bowser's face, his bravado returning as he chuckled darkly. "Oh, they think they can surprise me, huh?" His eyes gleamed with mischief. "Two can play at that game."

In the heart of a vibrant jungle filled with lush green foliage and the melodic sounds of exotic birds, Peter, Princess Peach, Toad, the Fantastic Four family, and the Kongs raced each other, their colorful karts zooming along a winding trail. The sun dappled through the canopy above, casting playful shadows on the dirt track. As they sped forward, Peter caught a glimpse of Peach effortlessly maneuvering her sleek motorcycle, a cheerful grin lighting up her face as she zipped past him.

Suddenly, Peter's attention was drawn to the path ahead, where the road ominously ended at a steep ramp that rose into the air, seemingly leading into nothingness. He felt a surge of adrenaline mixed with anxiety as he shouted, "Um... No one panic, but the road is about to end!"

A mischievous twinkle shone in Cranky Kong's eyes as he shouted back over the roar of engines, "Well then, you'd better step on the gas and buckle up!"

With determination, Peter pressed down hard on the gas pedal, sending his kart surging forward and pulling ahead of the group. His stomach dropped as they ascended the ramp, and he couldn't hold back a terrified yet exhilarated scream. In the background, Val and Franklin joined in, their voices echoing a mix of horror and excitement as they soared high above the dense treetops, surrounded by fluffy white clouds.

As they landed on the radiant, multicolored expanse of Rainbow Road, Peter's disbelief washed over him. "What the...?! What is happening?!" he exclaimed, his confusion quickly transforming into laughter at the sheer absurdity of their journey. "Whoo!"

Peach expertly steered her motorcycle closer to Peter's kart, her curiosity piqued. "Is there anything like this in your world?" she called out, her voice rising above the engine noise.

Peter leaned in, trying to hear her better. "What?" he replied, straining to catch her words as the wind whipped around them.

"Is there anything like this in your world?" Peach repeated, raising her voice a little louder.

With a hearty chuckle, Peter replied, "No... We don't drive on rainbows." He paused for a moment, then added with a teasing grin, "Unless Thor drops by for a visit."

Peach raised an eyebrow in surprise. "What are you gonna tell me next? That the turtles aren't evil?" she asked, half-joking.

"No, no. They're usually pets," Peter retorted with a playful smirk. "Unless Mutagen spills into the sewers, in which case, they're ninjas!" He knew his pop-culture reference might fly over her head, but he couldn't resist sharing it.

Peach gasped, her eyes widening in amazement. "No way!"

"Ah, come to Queens sometime! I'll even buy you a turtle," Peter offered, his tone light and inviting.

Peach giggled, the sound melodious amidst their fantastical race. "Maybe I will."

Just then, the familiar honking of Donkey Kong's horn echoed in the air as he zoomed up beside them. With a teasing smirk, he exclaimed, "Dude, is this you flirting? This is painful!"

Peter rolled his eyes, a sheepish smile creeping across his face. "Just— I was trying to be nice," he scoffed, trying to defend himself.

"You are so embarrassing!" Donkey Kong laughed, his voice booming with good-natured mockery. "A princess would never go out with you!"

At that moment, the Fantastic Four sped ahead, with Toad trailing closely behind in his massive vehicle. "Yes, she would!" Toad declared, his voice full of conviction.

"I bet you she would!" Val added, her tone rallying in support of her uncle.

"She totally would!" Ben agreed enthusiastically, joining the kids in their playful banter.

Amid the friendly teasing, Peach couldn't help but chuckle at the antics of her companions. "Guys, enough," she remarked, shaking her head with a grin.

"All right, all right," Donkey Kong sighed, reluctantly pulling back as they slowed their pace, leaving Peter and Peach to share a lighter moment beneath the bright, whimsical skies of Rainbow Road.

Meanwhile, the Koopa army in their own karts watches from a cliff overlooking the Rainbow Road. They scoped out the troops and waited for an opening.

"Attack!"

The Koopa army rides their karts off of the cliff and onto Rainbow Road to ambush the Kong army. A Koopa fires a shell from his kart that recoils off of and knocks out several Kong karts.

"It's an ambush!" Susan cried, using her forcefield powers to block the shells.

A Koopa holding a lit Bob-omb approaches Peter but is knocked aside by Cranky Kong. "Defensive positions!"

A Kong fires several shells from his kart at Koopas approaching them from the cliffs. Another Kong fires banana peels onto Rainbow Road, spinning out several Koopa karts. The Koopa General plows through several karts in a massive kart equipped with jaws at the front and gains on Peter and friends.

"Spider-Man! You're a dead man!"

Peter sees several paths ahead on Rainbow Road and gets an idea. "Split up!"

Peter, Peach, Toad, Fantastic For, and Donkey Kong split up with the Koopa General chasing Peter.

"Peter!" Peach cried in concern

After repeatedly dodging the jaws of the Koopa General's kart, Peter sees another Rainbow Road path below him and ultra drift-boosts onto it, much to the Koopa General's frustration. Peter sighed in relief when he felt his spider senses go off. But they haven't worked well in this realm, which meant the threat had to be- Oh, no!

A giant blast of electricity came in and Peter saw it came from Electro. He flew into the scene and charged up a blast of electricity. "Spider-Man!"

"Oh, hey, Max!" Peter cried as he drove to avoid the blasts of electricity.

That was when he saw ahead that the road turned into swirls, causing Peter to panic. But when he started to drive on his side, the kart beeped and turned into an anti-gravity function to allow him to stay on the road.

"Whoa..." Peter was amazed by the tech.

The Koopa General caught back up as he fired two Bullet Bills and destroyed Peter's kart. Peter jumps out of the kart and falls onto another Rainbow Road path below him. He quickly activated his Web-Wings and glided while Electro was in hot pursuit of him.

"Stay still so I can finish you off!" Electro demanded.

"Yeah, no, I'm good, thanks!" Peter said as he flew downward to other Koopa's on motorcycles.

Peter shot a web down onto a Koopa's motorcycle and yanked crashing it into another Koopa's kart. Peter jumps on the Koopa driving the kart, causing the Koopa to retract into his shell. Peter jumps into the kart while holding the shell.

Peter dodges three Bullet Bills shot at him from another Koopa kart behind him and counters the Koopa by throwing the shell he was holding behind him. The shell hits the Koopa kart, much to Peter's relief, while the Koopa General approaches him again from behind. Toad frantically dodges bullet bills and shell-fire from behind him with Electro.

Reed was working on driving the kart he, Susan, Ben, and the kids were on while Ben punched the Koopas that got too close, sending their karts and motorcycles falling off a ledge. Susan activated a forcefield every time they tossed a shell at them.

On their left, they saw on a side road, two Koopas surround Peach, who proceeded to kick the Koopa on her right and ram the back of her motorcycle into the Koopa on her left. The Koopa on her left fires a Bullet Bill which breaks off the bottom half of a floating landmass above Toad's Rainbow Road path, which falls and breaks off the path ahead of Toad.

"I'm too cute to die!" Toad screams, going too fast to slow down as he falls off the cliff.

Susan tried to save him, but they also were running on the same road and ended up falling. Peach disables anti-gravity mode on her motorcycle, falling off of the Rainbow Road path she was on. She fell towards their vehicle and tried to call out to Reed.

"Push the parachute button!" Peach tells him.

"Parachute?" Ben asked, looking over the controls. "You mean this!?"

When Ben pushed the button, it activated a glider on the back of their vehicle, causing them to glide safely over as they made their way over to another portion of the track. Peach then saw they were safe and dived downward to grab onto Toad. Peach catches Toad activates her glider and joins the Fantastic Four.

"That is how you princess!" Toad cheered

Peter fights off Koopa's karts in front of him, but the Koopa General catches up to Peter and catches Peter's kart into his kart's jaws. Peter gets out of the kart and holds onto the outside of the jaws in an attempt to avoid getting chomped using his strength.

"Time to die, Spider-Man!"

The Koopa General pushes a lever on his kart, closing the kart's jaws and destroying Peter's kart into his kart's jaws. The Koopa General laughed as he proclaimed he finished the job. However, Peter was alive but clinging to the kart's jaw in fear as he pushed the jaws with his strength. He then moves to the outer edge of the jaw and sees Donkey Kong chasing Electro who was close behind the Koopa General. Peter gets an idea as he climbs to the top of the jaw where the Koopa General can see his head.

"Huh?"

Peter jumped on and bounced off the Koopa General's head and shot out a web that latched onto Electro and attacked the Koopa kart. He then punched Electro, causing him to instinctively send an electrical surge down the webbing and shock the Koopa General, causing them both to fritz out. Peter then glided his way over and shot a web to latch onto Donkey Kong's kart and swung over to grab a pole leading to the barrels.

"See ya!" Donkey Kong fires the first rocket barrel from his kart at the Koopa General and Electro.

"No!" They cried.

The powerful rocket barrel erupted with a deafening blast, obliterating the Koopa General's brightly colored kart. The impact sent both him and Electro tumbling uncontrollably down the vibrant, twisting pathways of Rainbow Road, their frantic shouts drowned out by the cheers of Peter and Donkey Kong as they zipped past in their own vehicles, a gleam of triumph in their eyes.

With a swift motion, Peter tossed a high-tech device toward Max, the wanted villain. The gadget whirred to life as it attached itself to him with a precise click, sending Max hurtling back to the imposing supermax prison through a portal.

In a joyful spectacle, the Fantastic Four family, along with Princess Peach and Toad, erupted into cheers, their faces illuminated with relief and excitement at witnessing their friends emerge unscathed from such perilous circumstances. The atmosphere buzzed with camaraderie, as everyone celebrated together, thankful for their safety in the midst of the colorful backdrop of Rainbow Road.

The Koopa General emerges from the flames of his destroyed kart. "You...can't...escape ME!" Donkey Kong and Peter looked back and were shocked to see him okay. "BLUE SHELL!"

The Koopa general tucks his body into his Blue Shell and flies toward Peter and Donkey Kong's kart. He spins around them and slams straight down, exploding, and shattering the kart and the Rainbow Road beneath them. Everything goes in slow motion. Peter and Donkey Kong plummet as Peach, the FantastiCar, and Toad escape.

"No!" Everyone screamed when they saw the two of them plummet.

"No, Peter..." Peach said in concern.

Susan comforted her kids when she saw how distraught they were. "It's okay, Pete will be okay." She tried to soothe them. "Right?"

Reed wasn't sure what to say since he wasn't familiar with this world or how powerful that explosion was and was concerned for Peter. But he saw his kids needed some good news. "Right."

The Kongs stopped at the broken section of the road as they couldn't pass.

"Ah! No! No..." Cranky said in concern for his son.

More Koopas arrive in flying Koopa Clown Cars as well as Doc Ock's tendrils as they come in and carry the Kongs toward Bowser's castle that loomed over Rainbow Road.

"Get your clown claws off of me!"

Bowser laughed when he saw the man who caught the princess' attention was gone. "Goodbye, Spider-Man!"

"We have to get home!" Peach told Toad as they zoomed off.

Peter and Donkey Kong fall, and Donkey Kong throws debris at Peter. "Hey! This is your fault!"

"My fault? You're the one who-"

"Stop talking! I don't want the last thing I hear before I die to be your-"

Peter and Donkey Kong crash into the ocean. Donkey Kong is knocked unconscious, but Peter manages to bring him up to the surface by pulling him by his neck carefully. Thanks to his strength, carrying the giant talking monkey was easy. What he missed however was that the pieces of debris were beginning to awaken a large creature as it closed its jaws beneath them.

"Peter... You saved my life." Donkey Kong was shocked to see.

"Yeah, well... I won't tell anyone." Peter mocked.

"Good, please don't." Donkey Kong begged.

"Yeah, you and Johnny would get along great," Peter sighed. He then heard bubbling below him as he felt his senses go off. "Please tell me that was our stomachs?"

The creature, an eel-like Maw-Ray, rises up out of the water behind them, sending a giant splash of water to ripple. They gasped at the creature as it swam over to devour the two of them.

"Swim!" Donkey Kong told Peter as they did just that.

The Maw-Ray closes its jaws around them before they have a chance to escape.

Peach and Toad lead the way through the Mushroom forest as they make it to the river across from the kingdom and use anti-gravity function to glide over the water and reach the town. They arrive back in the Mushroom Kingdom and race through the town. The FantastiCar was close behind them as they made their way upward. They made it across

"Bowser's on his way! You have to evacuate!" Peach warns the people. "Hurry! Get out of the city!"

Peach races back to her castle and crashes into the throne room as everyone stops to exit the FantastiCar as it wouldn't fit. As they raced inside, Peach already made it to the Throne Room and tossed her helmet off as she sighed.

"Princess?" The general asks.

"We lost the army," Peach was sorry to say with a sigh. "...and Peter's gone." She then looked and saw the rest of the Fantastic Four come into the room. "But we might stand a chance to stop him with his friends. Bowser is coming. Head into the forest. I'll buy you some time."

"You heard her! Evacuate the city!" Everyone began to scramble as they rushed as fast as they could to evacuate the Mushroom Kingdom.

"Go with the others," Peach told Toad.

"I said I wouldn't let anyone hurt you." Toad reminded her.

Peach nods affirmatively at Toad, and they exit the throne room.

Susan kneeled down to her kids. "Go with the Toads. It is too dangerous here."

"No!" Franklin proclaimed. "We won't leave you!"

"Yeah, what if you need us?" Val asks. "What would Uncle Pete do?"

Susan sighed and saw they were running low on time. "Fine, but you stay with the car."

The kids nodded as they all walked out. Peach grabs a halberd left behind by one of her Toad guards and Toad takes out his frying pan, intending to use it as a weapon, the Fantastic Four (three since Johnny was still captured) follow her out. The Toads frantically evacuate the Mushroom Kingdom as they watch the giant castle gates as Bowser's Castle approaches the front yard of Peach's Castle where Peach and Toad are standing. The "mouth" of Bowser's Castle opens up and several Koopa Troopas wielding spears surround Peach and Toad. Bowser shows himself. That was when Shocker, Li, and Otto revealed themselves as they exited as well, standing aside Bowser.

"Dr. Octavius, never thought you would stoop so low." Reed scoffed, preparing for a fight.

"What can I say?" Otto shrugged. "The giant turtle will be an excellent help in conquering our world."

"You've still got to get through us!" Peach proclaimed, preparing for a fight.

That was when they finally got a look at Bowser. His towering domineer as he marched over towards them and they saw he was even towering over their resident The Thing.

"Princess Peach! Brave as ever." Bowser said as he marched out of the ship. The Super Star is visible behind him. "As you can see, I have the Super Star."

"If you're going to use it..." Peach points her halberd at Bowser as the surrounding Koopas point theirs at her. "...Use it now."

Bowser points the tip of the halberd away and clears his throat. "No, Princess... I stole this star for us. I guess...love really makes a guy come out of his shell."

Peach stares at Bowser with a confused expression on her face. As did Susan, Reed, and Ben.

"Huh?" Ben asks.

"I told you that line wouldn't work!" Bowser whispered to Kamek.

"You're doing great!" Kamek said.

"Peaches, with this star, we will be invincible. We can rule the world together, forever. Will you marry me?" Bowser asks.

Peach scoffed when she heard that. "Marry you? Are you insane? I would never marry you."

Bowser then turned to a more menacing demeanor. "Maybe you should reconsider."

Kamek uses his magic to constrict Toad and the Fantastic Four and cause them to fall over in pain.

"No! Stop! Please, stop!" Peach begged, seeing how much pain they were in. She saw that she couldn't take them all and sighed. "I'll...I'll-I'll marry you, just don't hurt my Toads or anyone else here."

Bowser motions his hand to Kamek, who ceases his torture of the others. Peach held Toad in concern as Bowser held his hand out to her.

"You have my word," Bowser promises.

Peach sighed in despair as she took his hand and they were led into the castle.

"Ha-ha! Time for a wedding!" Bowser cheered.

"I hate magic," Ben groaned as it took several of them to carry him.

Val and Franklin cautiously peeked out from the confines of the FantastiCar, their hearts racing as they witnessed the terrifying sight of their beloved family members being dragged into the looming shadow of Bowser's Castle. A sense of dread filled the air, thickening the atmosphere as they grappled with the fear that they might lose their family.

"They caught everyone," Franklin uttered, his voice trembling with worry. "What do we do now?" His wide eyes searched for answers, but all he saw was the ominous castle in front of them.

Val's mind raced as she took in the gravity of their situation, her gaze fixating on the backpack nestled at their feet. "Wait! Peach gave us those Power-Ups," she exclaimed, a flicker of hope igniting in her chest.

Franklin's eyes widened in realization. Digging into the backpack, he pulled out the Power-Ups, the faint glow illuminating their faces. Val reached for the crown adorned with tiny, glistening dots that resembled watchful eyes. Meanwhile, Franklin took hold of a striking purple flower, its petals shimmering with an otherworldly aura. However, a shadow of doubt crossed his face—if they mishandled these gifts, they risked becoming victims of Bowser's nefarious schemes just like their family.

"Are you ready for this?" Franklin asked, his voice a mix of excitement and unease.

Val met his gaze with fierce determination, the uncertainty dissipating. "Let's do this," she declared, her spirit ignited by the urgency of their quest.

With a shared sense of purpose, the siblings clasped their hands together, feeling the electric charge of resolve between them. As they merged with their chosen Power-Ups, vibrant tendrils of light spiraled around them, enveloping them in a radiant glow. Val felt the crown's energy surge through her, infusing her with newfound strength, while Franklin embraced the flower's mystical power, a sense of bravery coursing through him. Together, they prepared to face the dark forces that awaited them, driven by a singular mission to save their family from the clutches of Bowser.

In the dim and musty confines of the dungeon, Johnny strained against the confines of his floating cage, his heart racing with desperation. He focused intently, channeling every ounce of his fiery powers, attempting to scorch the gleaming bars that held him captive. Yet, despite the flickering flames that danced around his hand, the solid gold bars stood resolute and unyielding. In this peculiar realm, the precious metal seemed to possess an enchantment of its own, rendering it immune to his heat. All the while, the haunting melody of the Lumalee echoed in the shadows, its soft notes weaving a spell that further solidified the cage's defenses. Johnny could feel the weight of frustration building within him, knowing that time was running out as the ethereal song continued, its vibrations mingling with the oppressive atmosphere of the dungeon.

"Life is sad. Prison is sad. Life in prison is very, very sad." Lumalee sang as he popped the bubbles. That was when the caged Kongs and the remaining Fantastic Four members were dropped into the dungeon. "Ooh! Fresh meat for the grinder."

Ben groaned as he was inside a much larger cage. "Who's this ray of sunshine?" He asked sarcastically.

"There's no sunshine. Only darkness." Lumalee said.

"Shut up, shut up, shut up!" The king penguin screamed in agony.

"Sue?!" Johnny exclaimed, his voice filled with disbelief as he spotted his sister standing there, a look of wide-eyed concern on her face.

"Johnny!" Susan responded, her heart racing with relief at the sight of her brother across the dangling cages. "I was so worried about you. I can't believe you're okay, considering… well, you know."

"Given the circumstances, I guess I'm fortunate," Johnny replied nonchalantly, gesturing towards the imposing metal cage that trapped him. The bars glinted ominously in the dim light, a stark reminder of their dire situation.

"Yeah, that's a fair point," Susan agreed, her brow furrowing with worry as she considered their predicament. Turning to her resourceful teammate, she asked, "Reed? Do you have any plans? Surely there's something we can do to get out of here."

Reed surveyed their surroundings, his sharp analytical mind racing. His gaze darted from the bubbling lava below them, glistening and threatening, to the ceiling above where massive chains hung, suspended by an insurmountable barrier. "Honestly, I don't think messing with those chains is wise. One wrong move, and we risk plummeting straight into that molten rock beneath us," he cautioned, his expression grave.

"Yeah, I'm good," Ben chimed in dryly, crossing his arms and casting a wary glance at the seething lava, clearly choosing to avoid any fate that involved a fiery plunge.

Suddenly, with a flash of magic, Kamek appeared above them, gliding through the air on his enchanted broomstick. His tone was mockingly cheerful as he called out, "Hello, prisoners! Though you don't quite deserve it, you are invited to the royal wedding!"

With a surprising burst of enthusiasm, a nearby penguin piped up, "Yay!" Its cheerful cry echoed in the grim environment, a strange moment of levity amid the tension.

"Where you will all be ritualistically sacrificed!" Kamek tells them before teleporting away.

The shocking news sent waves of terror rippling through the dimly lit prison cell, prompting the prisoners to erupt in frantic screams as they rattled their cages in sheer panic. Cranky, his voice trembling with fear, whimpered, "Oh, no, no, no!" as he clutched the bars, his eyes wide with dread.

Lumalee, with tears glistening in her eyes, breathed out a shaky sigh, whispering, "Finally, mercy..."

In a distant corner, Susan stood frozen, her heart pounding in her chest as she thought of her children. "Peter... we need you..." she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper, a deep sense of urgency lacing her words as fear for their safety washed over her like a cold wave.
