It's a few years before the "The Horse and His Boy," during the Golden Age and Narnia is cast into chaos. With Aslan's help can the Pevensies prevail before they perish? All is not as it seems.

1010. New Years Eve. Asura takes a moment to reflect on the year passed - as the Pevensie siblings and their Court celebrate the turning of the New Year. And under that moonlit snowfall, the naiad realizes that her heart had long ago been claimed. Gossiping guards. Haunting dreams. Poignant revelations. Shortcake and snowfall. A short-story, set in my 'Daggers of Ice' universe.

"Narnia was never more at peace, than when a Son of Adam and daughter of Eve sat upon the thrones," she looked at him in pure confusion and perhaps a bit of fear. "What are you saying Professor?" "I am saying," his hand covered hers in a gesture of comfort, "You two, could be the new hope for Narnia's future.

After a year of waiting for Aslan to bring them back to Narnia, the Pevensies, Rebecca and Joy are whisked away to their beloved world. Only this time, Narnia no longer belongs to them and Rebecca and Joy find themselves surrounded by their enemies. More importantly, the Narnians have forgotten about them again! What does Aslan want the sisters to do for Narnia this time?

Miraz has fallen and peace has come to Narnia, but it hasn't come to Peter's head. As he tries to move on and become the true High King, moments of his past keep him grounded in guilt and uncertainty where Brielle, Susan's lady in waiting, has all the answers to his problems. It's such a shame she has to kill him; a revenge plot in return for all the pain he's caused her. Peter/OC.
