Sam vs Milo
Once Lincoln got his Pokemon treated at the Pokemon Center, the group then calls for some Flying Taxies to take them to Turffield so Sam can challenge the gym there. They soon arrive and climb into them, then fly over to their destination.
They soon reach Turffield and head for the gym; when they get to it, they head inside and head for the front desk where a staff member was working.
"What can I do for you?" asked the staff member.
"Yeah, I'm here to do my Gym Test." said Sam.
"Very well." said the staff member. "Just get into your gym uniform and report to the test area.
"Speaking of uniforms; let's see if they have something at that uniform store that Sam would like." said Luna. The group head over to where they bought their current uniforms when they first arrived in Turffield and look over their selection. Luna soon sees one that she believed Sam would like.
"Look at that one." said Luna as she points to a uniform that was almost like hers, except it had blue lightning instead of yellow.
"I see you noticed our limited-edition Electric Uniform that's a tribute to a Low Key Toxtricity." said the uniform store worker.
"Rad! Sam's got a Low Key Toxtricity!" said Luna. She then pays for the uniform and hands it to Sam who then heads for the changing room and puts it on, then comes back out.
"How do I look?" asked Sam.
"You look rad!" said Luna, making Sam blush. Sam then heads for the test area where the staff member inside explains the Gym Test to her. Once that was done, Sam does what Luna does and uses her guitar to play music that lured the Wooloos through the hay bale barricades; she soon reaches the end and passes her Gym Test. In the lobby, the rest of the group was watching her.
"She did it!" said Lola.
"I knew she would!" said Luna.
"Let's go find seats in the stadium and cheer her on." said Clyde. The group goes into the bleachers and soon find some empty seats.
Back on the field, Sam was just walking out onto it as Milo was doing the same. They soon meet at the center and Milo compliments her skill in passing her Gym Test.
"That was mighty fine Wooloo wrangling." said Milo.
"Thank you." said Sam.
"I haven't seen that since that Luna Loud girl was here a few days ago." said Milo.
"Oh, she's right over there." said Sam as she points towards Luna in the stands, surprising Milo.
"I have a feeling you're going to be a tough opponent." said Milo. He and Sam go to opposite sides of the field just as an official comes out onto it.
"This is an official gym battle between the Gym Leader, Milo; and the Gym Challenger, Sam Sharp." said the official. "Each trainer will use two Pokemon; whoever defeats both of their opponent's Pokemon will be the winner. Let the battle begin." The official steps to the sidelines as Milo and Sam each pull out a pokeball from their waists. Milo throws his, releasing his Gossifleur; and Sam throws hers, releasing her Toxtricity.
"And Milo's starting out with his Gossifleur while Sam starts out with a Toxtricity. Let's see who wins!" said the announcer.
"Gossifleur, use Round!" said Milo. Gossifleur sings and makes a soundwave come out of her mouth and hit Toxtricity, not seeming to do much.
"Toxtricity's Punk Rock ability really comes in handy." said Luna.
"Toxtricity, use Acid Spray!" said Sam. Toxtricity opens her mouth and releases a spray of acid from it that hits Gossifleur, doing super effective damage to it, and knocks it out.
"Gossifleur is unable to battle. Toxtricity is the winner." said the official.
"Incredible! Sam's Toxtricity takes out Milo's Gossifleur in one hit! I haven't seen anyone do that since that group of kids that was here a few days ago!" said the announcer.
"Way to go, Sam!" said Luna.
"That was awesome!" said Lana.
Back in Royal Woods, Simon Sharp, along with the Louds, Clyde's Dads, and the Santiagos were watching Sam battle.
"Go, sis!" said Simon.
"I hope she wins." said Rita.
"If my sisters and Stinkoln helped her train; then she'll be just fine." said Lynn Jr.
"Let's watch and see what happens." said Luan.
Back in Turffield, Milo returns his Gossifleur to its pokeball.
"You did your best, Gossifleur." said Milo before putting the pokeball back on his belt. He then takes another one off and throws it, releasing his Eldegloss; he then returns it and uses his Dynamax Band to enlarge it, then throws it, releasing his Eldegloss again, only Dynamaxed this time.
"And Milo Dynamaxes his Eldegloss! Let's see how Sam handles this one!" said the announcer.
"Uh oh." said Lincoln. "Sam doesn't have a Dynamax Band."
"What now?" asked Luna.
"Don't worry; Lincoln was able to take down Dynamaxed Pokemon with regular-sized ones." said Lana.
"I hope Sam can do the same." said Luna. Back on the field, Sam was looking up at the Eldegloss with awe, but then shakes her head to regain her senses.
"Toxtricity, use Venoshock!" said Sam. Toxtricity releases a spray of purple liquid that hits the Dynamaxed Eldegloss, doing super effective damage to it.
"Eldegloss, use Max Overgrowth!" said Milo. Eldegloss releases some large green seeds from its head that surround Toxtricity, turn into sprouts that shines green light energy onto her, not doing much damage. Eldegloss and Toxtrcity suddenly heal a little.
"What happened?" asked Sam.
"Little aftereffect of Max Overgrow." said Milo. "After it's used, Pokemon on the battlefield will heal a little bit now and then."
"Don't worry, Sam!" said Lola.
"You can do this!" said Luna. Sam looks at the group and nods.
"Toxtricity, one more Venoshock!" said Sam. Toxtricity hits Eldegloss with another stream of purple liquid, this time doing enough super effective damage to cause the energy in it to explode, and returns it to its normal size, unconscious.
"Eldegloss is unable to battle. Toxtricity is the winner. The winner of the match is the Gym Challenger, Sam Sharp!" said the official.
"And Sam has won! She has taken down both of Milo's Pokemon with just one of her own!" said the announcer.
"Sam won!" said Lana.
"I knew she would!" said Luna.
"That was awesome!" said Lincoln.
Back in Royal Woods, everyone at the Loud house was celebrating Sam's victory.
"My sister won!" cheered Simon.
"That was awesome!" said Lynn Jr.
"I'm glad she beat that Dynamaxed Eldegloss." said Bobby.
Back in Turffield Stadium, Milo returned his Eldegloss to its pokeball.
"You did your best, Eldegloss." said Milo before putting Eldegloss's pokeball away, then walking over to Sam. "I have to say, that's the second time someone's defeated my Dynamaxed Eldegloss with a regular-sized Pokemon. You're a really tough trainer."
"Thanks, dude." said Sam. Milo reaches into his pocket and pulls out a Grass Badge.
"As proof of your victory here, I present you with the Grass Badge." said Milo as she hands it to Sam, along with some pokedollars.
"Rad!" said Sam as she accepts the items.
Later in the lobby, everyone was congratulating Sam on her victory.
"You were rockin' Sam!" said Luna.
"We're glad you won." said Clyde.
"You were great." said Lucy from behind Sam, scaring her.
"Thanks, everyone." said Sam after getting over her near, Lucy-induced, heart attack.
Sam has just won her first gym badge. Will she win her Water and Fire Badges? Wait and find out.
