Stow-on-Side Gym Battles (Part Three)
After the official explained the rules of the Gym Test to Lola, she walks to the big teacup and climbs into it; she rides the teacup down the slanted platform until she reaches the bottom of it. She dizzily climbs out of the teacup; after regaining her focus, she walks to the teacup of the next platform and climbs into it.
The next platform was a little more difficult due to the green hands knocking her around, but she was able to make it to the bottom of the platform. She stumbles out of the teacup while her face was green and climbed into the teacup of the final platform.
The last platform proved to be a little more difficult, but in the end, she pulled through. She climbed out of the platform, dizzily; she suddenly covered her mouth with her hand; she runs to the edge of the platform she was on and loses her breakfast over it. Everyone who was watching looks away in disgust. After Lola was done, she walks up the stairs to the exit where smoke plumes shoots up, indicating she finished the Gym Test.
"Lola did it!" said Lincoln.
"Yeah, and lost her lunch in the process." said Lana.
"Hope she doesn't lose against Allister." said Leni.
At the Loud residence, everyone was watching Lola and cheered for her.
"Lola passed the Gym Test." said Lori.
"Yeah, but I wish she didn't throw up on live TV." said Rita.
"You think she can beat Allister?" asked Howard McBride.
"The others did well against him." replied Harold McBride.
"He's a tough trainer, I'll give him that." said Lynn Jr. Back at the Stow-on-Side stadium, Lola and Allister walked out of tunnels and onto the center of the arena.
"You did w-well passing the Gym Test." said Allister.
"Yeah, yeah." replied Lola. An official steps onto the field.
"This gym battle is between the gym leader, Allister; and the Gym Challenger, Lola Loud. Both trainers will use four Pokemon. The first trainer to defeat all their opponent's Pokemon will be the winner. Let the battle begin." said the official. Lola and Allister walk to opposite ends of the arena and they each take out a pokeball.
"Mimikyu, go." said Allister as he throws Mimikyu's pokeball and releasing it.
"Allister has brought out his Mimikyu; what will Lola bring out?" asked the announcer.
"Does this answer your question, bub?!" asked Lola. "Go, Polteageist!" Lola throws Polteageist's pokeball, releasing it.
"And Lola answers my question by bringing out a Polteageist; it's a battle between two ghost type Pokemon." said the announcer.
"By the way, thanks for the Cracked Pot." said Lola.
"O-Oh, so you're Lucy's sibling she gave the Cracked Pot we found last night to." replied Allister. "Mimikyu, Shadow Sneak." Mimikyu's shadow streches out towards Polteageist.
"Polteageist, Sucker Punch!" said Lola. Polteageist floats towards Mimikyu; it pops out of the cracked pot it was in and punches Mimikyu, but due to its Disguise ability, it took only little damage and the head of its costume tilts to the side before its shadow strikes Polteageist, dealing super effective damage to it. Polteageist slumps and begins surging with energy. "You just activated Polteageist's Weak Armor ability."
"I-It may increases Polteageist's speed, but it weakens its defense." said Allister.
"Whatever; Polteageist, use Astonish!" said Lola. Polteageist stretches out of the cracked pot it was in towards Mimikyu and makes a scary face at it, dealing super effective damage to it, and making it flinch. "Yeah, now use Nasty Plot!" Polteageist rubs its arms together and smirks, raising its special attack strength.
"Mimikyu, Shadow Sneak." said Allister. Mimikyu's shadow stretches out towards Polteageist and strikes it, dealing super effective damage to it. Polteageist takes out the Oran Berry it was holding and eats it, restoring some of its energy.
"Polteageist, use Giga Drain!" said Lola. A green beam of energy shoots out of Polteageist's mouth and it hits Mimikyu, draining its remaining energy and knocking it out while healing most of its wounds.
"Mimikyu is unable to battle; Polteageist wins the match." said the official.
"Lola's Polteageist has beaten Allister's Mimikyu; what will Allister do now?" asked the announcer. Lincoln, along with his sisters and friends, except Lucy cheered for Lola while everyone in Royal Woods does the same. Allister returns Mimikyu to its pokeball.
"You did your best, Mimikyu; you rest for now." said Allister. He puts Mimikyu's pokeball away and pulls out another one. "Go, Cursola." He throws Cursola's pokeball and releases it.
"Allister's next Pokemon is his Cursola." said the announcer.
"Polteageist, use Astonish!" said Lola. Polteageist stretches out of the cracked pot towards Cursola.
"Cursola, Harden." said Allister. Cursola's body glows white and its body shines before Polteageist strikes it, dealing super effective damage; Cursola begins surging with energy while slumping. "My Cursola also has the Weak Armor ability; now Cursola, Astonish." Cursola moves towards Polteageist and makes a scary face at it, dealing super effective damage to it, and making it flinch. "Now use Hex." Cursola forms a black ball of energy with a red eye in the middle of it; it fires blue energy rings at Polteageist, dealing enough damage to knock it out.
"Polteageist is unable to battle; Cursola wins the match." said the announcer.
"And Allister's Cursola has beaten Lola's Polteageist; now both trainers have three Pokemon left." said the announcer.
"You can do it, Lola!" said Lincoln.
"Don't give up!" said Luna. Back at Royal Woods.
"Poor Lola." said Rita.
"Don't worry, dear; she still has three Pokemon left." said Lynn Sr.
"Hope they'll be enough." said Lori.
"I'm sure they will be." said Lynn Jr. Back at Stow-on-Side stadium, Lola returns Polteageist to its pokeball.
"You did all right, Polteageist." said Lola. She puts Polteageist's pokeball away and pulls out another one. "Go, Sylveon!" She throws Sylveon's pokeball and releases her.
"Lola brings out a Sylveon; how will it do against Allister's Cursola?" asked the announcer.
"Okay, Sylveon, use Bite!" said Lola. Sylveon runs at Cursola and bites it, dealing more damage than it normally would have due to its defense being weakened by its Weak Armor ability. Cursola begins surging with energy and its speed increases while its defense weakens.
"Cursola, use Astonish." said Allister. Cursola makes a scary face at Sylveon, damaging her, but not making her flinch.
"Okay, Sylveon, use Draining Kiss!" said Lola. Sylveon runs at Cursola and kisses it, draining the last of its energy and knocking it out while healing her wounds.
"Cursola is unable to battle; Sylveon wins the match." said the official.
"And Lola's Sylveon has beaten Cursola; will Allister be able to turn this around?" asked the announcer.
"You're doing great, sis!" said Lana.
"Keep it up!" said Ronnie Anne. Back at Royal Woods.
"Guess Cursola didn't need to kiss its chances of victory goodbye; Sylveon did that for it." said Luan.
"Lola's doing good so far." said Lynn Sr.
"All she has to do is beat Allister's last two Pokemon." said Rita. Back at Stow-on-Side stadium, Allister returns Cursola to its pokeball.
"You did well, Cursola." said Allister. He puts Cursola's pokeball away and pulls out another one. "Go, Yamask." He tosses Yamask's pokeball and releases it.
"Allister's next Pokemon is his Yamask." said the announcer.
"Yamask, Night Shade." said Allister. Yamask releases crimson rings of energy from its face and they hit Sylveon, damaging her.
"Oh yeah! Sylevon, use Bite!" said Lola. Sylveon jumps towards Yamask.
"Yamask, use Protect." said Allister. A green force field appears around Yamask and it blocks Sylveon's attack. "Now use Slam." Yamask grabs Sylveon and slams her onto the arena floor, damaging her.
"Use Draining Kiss!" said Lola. Sylveon jumps at Yamask and kisses it, draining some of its energy and healing some of her wounds; a black aura surrounds Sylveon.
"Yamask's Wandering Spirit ability activated." said Lucy.
"So, now Sylveon's ability is Wandering Spirit instead of Cute Charm." said Lincoln.
"Yamask, use Hex." said Allister. Yamask forms a black ball of energy with a red eye; it fires blue energy rings at Sylveon, hitting it, and dealing damage to her.
"Sylveon, use Bite!" said Lola. Sylveon jumps at Yamask and bites it, dealing super effective damage.
"Use Night Shade, Yamask." said Allister. Yamask unleashes crimson rings of energy from its face and they hit Sylveon, knocking her out.
"Sylveon is unable to battle; Yamask wins the match." said the official.
"Allister's Yamask has beaten Lola's Sylveon; can she make a comeback?" asked the announcer. Back at Royal Woods.
"What kind of dumb question is that?" asked Lynn Jr.
"Yeah; she can do it." said Lori.
"Gah!" said Lily.
"She can still turn this around like the others did." said Rita. At the Stow-on-Side stadium, Lola returns Sylveon to its pokeball.
"You take a rest now, Sylveon." said Lola. She puts Sylveon's pokeball away and pulls out another one. "Ninetales, go!" She throws Ninetales pokeball and releases her.
"And Lola has brought out what appears to be an Alolan Ninetales." said the announcer.
"That Ninetales literally looks beautiful." said Lori from Royal Woods with delight. Back at Stow-on-Side stadium.
"Yamask, use Night Shade." said Allister. Yamask unleashes crimson energy rings from its face and they hit Ninetales, damaging her.
"Use Ice Beam!" said Lola. Ninetales fires light blue beams of energy out of her mouth and they hit Yamask, dealing super effective damage to it. Yamask's Wandering Spirit ability activates, making a dark aura surround Ninetales body, making her ability Wandering Spirit.
"Yamask, use Slam." said Allister. Yamask grabs Ninetales and slams her onto the floor, damaging her.
"Ninetales, use Dazzling Gleam!" said Lola. Ninetales becomes surrounded by a rainbow-colored sphere; it expands towards Yamask and hits it, knocking it out.
"Yamask is unable to battle; Ninetales wins the match." said the official.
"Lola's Ninetales has beaten Allister's Yamask; now he has only one Pokemon left." said the announcer.
"Yeah, Lola!" said Sam.
"Keep it up." said Luna.
"I hope Lola can handle Allister's Gengar." said Leni.
"Don't worry; I'm sure Lola can handle it." said Lana. Lucy only sat there in silence. Back at Royal Woods, everyone is cheering for Lola.
"Lola's doing great." said Lynn Sr.
"Now all she has to do is beat Allister's Gengar and she'll win." said Rita.
"Beat that kid, Lola!" said Lynn Jr. At the Stow-on-Side stadium, Allister returns Yamask to its pokeball.
"You did all you could, Yamask." said Allister. He puts Yamask's pokeball away and pulls out another one. "Gengar, go." He tosses Gengar's pokeball and releases it from it.
"And Allister's final Pokemon is his Gengar." said the announcer. Allister returns Gengar to its pokeball and his eyes glowed purple.
"Oh boy, we all know what going to happen next." said Lincoln. As he predicted, Allister uses his Dynamax Band to enlarge Gengar's pokeball; he then throws it and releases a now Gigantimaxed Gengar.
"Gengar, G-Max Terror." said Allister. Gengar launches ghostly furniture at Ninetales, as well as making an image of Gigantamax Gengar appearing underneath her that hits her with more dark energy, dealing damage to her.
"Ninetales, use Blizzard!" said Lola. Ninetales releases a blizzard from her mouth that hits Gengar, damaging it.
"Use Max Ooze." said Allister. Gengar releases purple sludge from its body at Ninetales, hitting her, and dealing super effective damage to her, knocking her out.
"Ninetales is unable to battle; Gengar wins the match." said the official.
"Allister's Gengar has defeated Lola's Ninetales; now she only has one Pokemon left." said the announcer. Gengar begins surging with energy.
"Max Ooze powers up the special attack strength of the Pokemon that uses it." said Allister.
"Don't give up, Lola!" said Lincoln.
"You can still do this!" said Lana. Meanwhile, back at Royal Woods.
"Lola only has one Pokemon left." said Lynn Sr.
"I hope Lola can win against that Gengar." said Rita.
"If the others can beat it, so can she!" said Lynn Jr.
"I hope you're right." said Lori. Back at the stadium, Lola returns Ninetales to her pokeball.
"You'll be all right, Ninetales; you've earned a break." said Lola. She puts Ninetales pokeball away while pulling out another one. "Go, Primarina!" She throws Primarina's pokeball and releases her.
"And Lola's final Pokemon is a Primarina." said the announcer. Lola then returns Primarina to her pokeball and enlarges it with her Dynamax Band; she throws it, releasing Primarina, now Dynamaxed.
"Lola had Dynamaxed her Primarina; can it hold its own against Allister's Gengar?" asked the announcer.
"Okay, Primarina, use Max Geyser!" said Lola. Primarina fires a powerful stream of water at Gengar, hitting it, and dealing damage. It begins to rain in the arena.
"And Primarina's Max Geyser has caused it to rain inside the arena." said the announcer.
"Great; now Primarina's water type moves are now stronger." said Lincoln.
"Gengar, Max Ooze." said Allister. Gengar releases purple sludge from its body at Primarina, hitting her, and dealing super effective damage to her; Gengar begins surging with energy and its special attack strength increases. Gengar suddenly shrinks down to its regular size.
"Oh, and it looks like Gengar's Gigantimax form has worn off, returning it to its regular size." said the announcer.
"Now Lola probably has a chance." said Clyde.
"Primarina, use Max Geyser!" said Lola. Primarina fires another stream of water, much stronger than the previous one due to the rain strengthening her water type moves and it hits Gengar, knocking it to the ground; it struggles to get up.
"Gengar, use Lick." said Allister. Gengar floats over to Primarina and licks her, damaging her; she suddenly begins twitching.
"It looks like Primarina's been paralyzed." said the announcer.
"Oh yeah?! Primarina, use Max Geyser!" said Lola. Unfortunately, paralysis stops Primarina from attacking.
"Gengar, use Hex." said Allister. Gengar forms a ball of black energy with a red eye in the middle of it above it; it fires blue energy rings at Primarina, dealing a lot of damage due to Hex doing extra damage to a Pokemon with a status condition. Primarina suddenly shrinks down to her regular size.
"Now Primarina is back to her regular size; will she still be able to beat Allister's Gengar?" asked the announcer. As Primarina was struggling to stay up; she was suddenly surrounded by a blue aura.
"That's Primarina's Torrent ability; now her water attacks should be even stronger now." said Lincoln. Ronnie Anne looks up at the rain.
"And with this rain, the next water attack Primarina uses should be really strong." said Ronnie Anne.
"Don't forget about that Mystic Water she's wearing." said Clyde.
"Primarina, use Sparkling Aria!" said Lola. Primarina fights through her paralysis and stands on her tail; she sings, forming an orb of water above her head. She launches it at Gengar which breaks into multiple bubbles that hits Gengar, causing a massive explosion of water; when it cleared, Gengar was lying on the arena floor with swirly eyes.
"Gengar is unable to battle; Primarina wins the match. The winner of this gym battle is the challenger, Lola Loud." said the announcer.
"She's done it! After a hard fought battle, Lola's Primarina has beaten Allister's Gengar and earning her the victory!" said the announcer.
"Yeah, baby!" cheered Lola.
"Lola won!" said Leni.
"I knew she could do it." said Clyde.
"It was a close battle." said Ronnie Anne. Lucy looked down with her hands clasped together on her lap.
"I'll say, little dudette." said Luna. Everyone in Royal Woods cheered for Lola as well. Allister returns Gengar to his pokeball.
"You did well, Gengar." said Allister. He puts Gengar's pokeball away and walks over to Lola. "That was a close battle."
"I'll say it is." replied Lola. Allister holds out a Ghost Badge towards Lola.
"For your victory here, I present you with the Ghost Badge." said Allister.
"Thanks, Allister." said Lola as she takes the Ghost Badge, along with pokedollars. Later, at the lobby, everyone was congratulating Lola.
"Great work out there, Lola." said Lincoln.
"Lola Loud doesn't do work, but thanks, Linky." said Lola. An official approached the group.
"Which of you is next?" asked the official.
"I'm up." said Ronnie Anne.
"Very well." said the official. He then leads Ronnie Anne into the test area where another staff member explains to her what she had to do. Once she was ready, she gets into the first teacup and starts riding it down the first platform, she easily makes it down to the bottom of the first platform and moves onto the next one.
The second one was a bit more difficult and being launched by the green hands threw her off, but she quickly figured out how to use them to her advantage and makes it to the bottom.
The third one was a bit like the last one, but she was able to make it to the bottom and officially pass her Gym Test.
Back in the lobby and at the Loud house, her friends and family were watching Ronnie Anne's progress.
"She made it!" said Lana.
"I knew she would." said Lincoln.
"Nie-Nie's doing great." said Bobby from the Loud house's living room.
"Keep it up, Ronalda!" cheered Maria who was wearing a whole bunch of Ronnie Anne-themed stuff, getting the Louds and McBrides' attention; she notices they were all looking at her.
"What? Too much?" asked Maria.
"Nah, we can relate." said Rita.
Back in Stow-on-Side Stadium, Ronnie Anne and Allister were all heading out onto the field where an official was waiting for them.
"Y-You did well to pass your Gym Test." said Allister.
"What can I say?" Ronnie Anne replied. "I'm good with spinning."
"This gym battle is between the gym leader, Allister; and the Gym Challenger, Ronnie Anne Santiago. Both trainers will use four Pokemon. The first trainer to defeat all their opponent's Pokemon will be the winner. Let the battle begin." said the official. Ronnie Anne and Allister walk to opposite ends of the arena and they each take out a pokeball. Allister throws his, releasing his Yamask.
"And Allister brings out his Yamask." said the announcer. "Now let's see what Ronnie Anne will use."
"Does this answer your question?" asked Ronnie Anne as she tosses her pokeball, releasing her Sneasel.
"And Ronnie Anne brings out a Sneasel." said the announcer.
"Yamask, use Slam!" said Allister. Yamask's wispy tail extends up and comes down onto Sneasel, driving him into the floor.
"Sneasel, use Icy Wind!" said Ronnie Anne. Sneasel releases a blast of cold wind at Yamask, doing super effective damage; its body becomes coated in frost as it seems to have slowed down.
"Looks like Icy Wind has reduced Yamask's speed." said the announcer.
"Now use Metal Claw!" said Ronnie Anne. Sneasel's claws turn into steel ones as he slashes at Yamask, doing damage to it.
"Use Will-O-Wisp!" said Allister. Yamask summons up six purple flames that fly at Sneasel and hit his body, causing him to get burned.
"Use Icy Wind one more time!" said Ronnie Anne. Sneasel releases another blast of cold wind at Yamask, hitting it, and doing enough super effective damage to knock it out.
"Yamask is unable to battle. Sneasel is the winner." said the announcer.
"And Ronnie Anne's Sneasel has taken out Allister's Yamask." said the announcer. "Can she keep this up and win this battle?" Sneasel suddenly loses stamina from his burns.
"Keep it up, Ronnie Anne!" said Lana.
"We're right behind you!" said Clyde.
"I thought we were in the bleachers." Leni replied, making everyone else groan.
At the Loud house, everyone there was cheering Ronnie Anne on.
"So far, so good!" said Bobby. A loud blare appears, making everyone else cover their ears.
"YOU CAN DO IT, RONALDA!" cheered Maria as she was holding an airhorn. Everyone sweatdrops at her behavior.
Back at Stow-on-Side, Allister returns his Yamask to its pokeball.
"You did your best, Yamask." said Allister. He puts the pokeball back on his waist and pulls off another one; he throws it, releasing his Mimikyu.
"And Allister brings out his Mimikyu." said the announcer. "Can it beat Ronnie Anne's swift Sneasel."
"Sneasel, use Metal Claw!" said Ronnie Anne. Sneasel runs at the Mimikyu and slashes it with his metallic claws; but Mimikyu's Disguise ability takes the hit, resulting in only a broken costume.
"Mimikyu, use Slash!" said Allister. Mimikyu spins around with its branch tail stickng out and slices at Sneasel, damaging him.
"Sneasel, use Metal Claw again!" said Ronnie Anne. Sneasel strikes at Mimikyu with metallic claws, dealing super effective damage to it.
"Mimikyu, use Drain Punch!" said Allister. A ghostly black hand, tinted with orange energy, comes out from Mimikyu's costume and hits Sneasel, dealing super effective damage, and drains him of stamina which heals Mimikyu's wounds; the attack also proved too much for Sneasel and he passes out.
"Sneasel is unable to battle. Mimikyu is the winner." said the official.
"And Mimikyu takes out Sneasel. Can it keep up this momentum?" asked the announcer.
"She can still win this!" said Clyde.
"Totes!" said Leni.
"I hope so." said Lana.
Back at the Loud house, everyone was supporting Ronnie Anne.
"She still has three Pokemon left." said Lynn Sr.
"Hang in there, Ronalda!" shouts Maria.
"Keep fighting, Nie-Nie!" said Bobby.
Back at Stow-on-Side, Ronnie Anne returns her Sneasel to his pokeball.
"You were great, Sneasel." said Ronnie Anne. She puts Sneasel's pokeball away and pulls another one off her waist and throws it, releasing her Larvesta.
"And Ronnie Anne brings out a Larvesta." said the announcer. "Can it beat Allister's Mimikyu?"
"Mimikyu, use Shadow Sneak!" said Allister. Mimikyu's shadow comes out from its costume and extends behind Larvesta; it rises up and strikes Larvesta, dealing damage to her.
"Use Screech!" said Ronnie Anne. Larvesta lets out a loud shriek which makes Mimikyu cover its ears, or fake ones in this case, lowering its defense.
"Mimikyu, use Slash!" said Allister. Mimikyu twirls around and strikes Larvesta with its branch tail.
"Larvesta, use Flame Wheel!" said Ronnie Anne. Larvesta spins at Mimikyu while her body is coated in fire and slams into it; parts of Mimikyu's costume catches fire.
"And it looks like Mimikyu's on fire, and I don't mean in a good way!" said the announcer.
"Mimikyu's burned!" said Lincoln. Lucy frowns a bit at this fact.
"Mimikyu, use Giga Drain!" said Allister. A large beam of green energy comes out of Mimikyu's body and hits Larvesta, not doing a lot but drain a small bit of stamina and heals itself; it suddenly takes damage from its burns.
"Larvesta, use Flame Wheel again!" said Ronnie Anne. Larvesta does another fiery, rolling somersault at Mimikyu, hitting it, and knocks it out.
"Mimikyu is unable to battle. Larvesta is the winner." said the official.
"And Ronnie Anne's Larvesta takes out Allister's Mimikyu. Can she keep it up and score a victory?" asked the official.
"She's halfway there!" said Luna.
"Keep it up, dudette!" said Sam.
"We're cheering for you!" said Clyde.
Back at the Loud house, the group at Stow-on-Side weren't the only ones cheering Ronnie Anne on.
"KEEP IT UP, RONALDA!" shouts Maria as she waves around a foam finger with Ronnie Anne's face on it.
"And I thought we were supportive of our kids." said Rita.
"Do you think I should get one of those with our kids' faces on it?" asked Lynn Sr.
"You should, Dad!" said Lynn Jr.
Back at Stow-on-Side Stadium, Allister returned his Mimikyu to its pokeball.
"You did well, Mimikyu." said Allister. He puts Mimikyu's pokeball away and pulls off another one; he throws it, releasing his Cursola.
"And Allister brings out his Cursola." said the announcer. "Can it beat Ronnie Anne's Larvesta.
"Cursola, use Ancient Power!" said Allister. Cursola summons up a bunch of rocks and launches them at Larvesta, hitting her, and dealing a large amount of super effective damage; Cursola's body begins flaring with energy.
"And it looks like Cursola got an all stat-boost from Ancient Power." said the announcer.
"Larvesta, use Flame Wheel!" said Ronnie Anne. Larvesta does another fiery somersault at Cursola, hitting it, and chips away a part of its body, causing its Weak Armor ability to kick in, increasing his speed, but also reducing its defense.
"Cursola, use Disable!" said Allister. Cursola's eyes glowed red, making a similar-colored aura appear around Larvesta. "Now your Pokmeon can't use Flame Wheel for a while."
"She still has other attacks!" said Ronnie Anne. "Larvesta, Flame Charge!" Larvesta charges at Cursola while coated in fire and rams it; a surge of power rises up from her.
"And Flame Charge increases Larvesta's speed; but will it be enough?" asked the official.
"Cursola, use Ancient Power one more time!" said Allister. Cursola summons up more rocks and launches them at Larvesta, hitting her, and doing enough super effective damage to knock her out.
"Larvesta is unable to battle. Cursola is the winner." said the official.
"And Cursola beats Larvesta." said the official. "Can it beat the rest of Ronnie Anne's Pokemon and score Allister the victory?"
"She's not beaten yet!" said Lola.
"She can still win!" said Lincoln.
"Sigh." said Lucy as she looks at Allister.
Back at the Loud house, everyone was cheering Ronnie Anne on.
"MY RONALDA ISN'T BEATEN YET!" shouts Maria.
"She can do it!" said Bobby.

Back at Stow-on-Side Stadium, Ronnie Anne was returning her Larvesta to her pokeball.
"You were great, Larvesta." said Ronnie Anne. She puts Larvesta's pokeball back on her waist and pulls off another one; she throws it, releasing her Luxray.
"And Ronnie Anne has brought out a Luxray!" said the announcer. "Can it beat Allister's Cursola?"
"Luxray, use Bite!" said Ronnie Anne. Luxray leaps at Cursola and bites down on it, doing super effective damage, and breaking off a part of its body, resulting in more speed and even less defense because of its Weak Armor ability.
"Cursola, use Disable!" said Allister. Cursola's eyes glowed red, making a similar-colored aura appear around Luxray, stopping him from using Bite.
"Luxray, use Spark!" said Ronnie Anne. Luxray charges at Cursola with his body coated in electricity and rams it, doing enough damage to knock it out.
"Cursola is unable to battle. Luxray is the winner." said the official.
"And Luxray takes down Cursola. Now Ronnie Anne is one win away from claiming victory in this gym battle." said the announcer.
"You're almost there, Ronnie Anne!" said Lincoln.
"Keep it up!" said Clyde.
Back at the Loud house, Maria was wildly cheering on her daughter along with Bobby.
"YOU CAN WIN, RONALDA!" shouts Maria.
"She's got this!" said Bobby.
"She can do it!" said Lori.
Back at Stow-on-Side, Allister returns his Cursola to its pokeball.
"Rest now." said Allister. He puts Cursola's pokeball back on his waist and pulls off his last one.
"We know what he's going to use next." said Lana. Allister's eyes glowed purple, surprising Ronnie Anne, as he throws his pokeball, releasing his Gengar. He returns his Pokemon to its pokeball, uses his Dynamax Band to enlarge it, and tosses it to release his, now Gigantamaxed, Gengar.
"And Allister has Gigantamaxed his Gengar. Can it beat Ronnie Anne's remaining Pokemon and score himself a win?" asked the official.
"I'm not taking any chances." said Ronnie Anne as she returns her Luxray to his pokeball and uses her Dynamax Band to enlarge it; she throws it, letting Luxray back out, only Dynamaxed.
"And Ronnie Anne has Dynamaxed her Luxray. Can it stand up to Allister's Gigantamaxed Gengar?" asked the official.
"Gengar, use Max Ooze!" said Allister. Purple slime appears from around Gengar and washes over Luxray, dealing damage, and increasing Gengar's special attack strength.
"Luxray, use Max Lightning!" said Ronnie Anne. Luxray releases electrcity from his body into the sky; a bolt of lightning then comes down and hits Gengar. The area becomes coated in electricity. "Now Luxray's electric attacks are stronger now."
"Gengar, G-Max Terror!" said Allister. A bunch of ghostly furniture appears and pelts Luxray, followed by an image of Gigantamax Gengar appearing below him, dealing damage.
"Luxray, use Max Lightning again!" said Ronnie Anne. Luxray shoots more electricity into the air and causes another jolt of lightning to hit Gengar.
"Gengar, G-Max Terror once more!' said Allister. Gengar hits Luxray with another barrage of furniture, along with a portal; the energy in Luxray explodes and he shrinks down to his original size, unconscious.
"Luxray is unable to battle. Gengar is the winner." said the official.
"And Gengar beats Luxray. Now all Allister has to do is beat one more of Ronnie Anne's Pokemon to win the match." said the official.
"I don't believe it." said Lincoln.
"Allister's strong." said Leni.
"He is." said Lucy with a barely noticeable smile on her face.
Back at the Loud house, everyone was shocked by what happened.
"Luxray lost." said Lori.
"Now Ronnie Anne has one Pokemon remaining!" said Bobby.
"WIN, RONALDA! WIIIIIIIN!" shouts Maria.
Back at Stow-on-Side Stadium, Ronnie Anne returns her Luxray to his pokeball. Suddenly, Gengar returns to its normal size.
"It seems Gengar's Gigantamax power has worn off." said Allister as his arms and head sag.
"You were great, Luxray." said Ronnie Anne. She puts Luxray's pokeball back on her waist and pulls off her last one; she throws it, releasing her Blastoise.
"And Ronnie Anne's last Pokemon is a Blastoise. Can it beat Allister's Gengar and score her the victory?" asked the announcer.
"Blastoise, use Rain Dance!" said Ronnie Anne. Blastoise does some breakdancing moves, making dark clouds appear overhead and rain comes down.
"That'll boost the power of Blastoise's water attacks." said Lincoln.
"Gengar, use Shadow Punch!" said Allister. Gengar floats at Blastoise and punches her with a fist coated with gray smoke.
"Blastoise, use Water Pulse!" said Ronnie Anne. Blastoise aims her shell cannons at Gengar and fires off a blast of pulsing water which hits it in the face, and thanks to the rain, it was powered up enough to do enough damage to knock Gengar out.
"Gengar is unable to battle. Blastoise is the winner. The winner of the gym battle is the challenger, Ronnie Anne Santiago." said the official.
"She's done it! In a close battle, Ronnie Anne was able to bring down Allister's Gengar to earn the victory!" said the announcer.
"Ronnie Anne did it!" said Lincoln.
"I, totes, knew she would!" said Leni.
"Way to go, dudette!" said Luna.
Back at the Loud house, everyone was cheering for Ronnie Anne.
"I KNEW SHE COULD DO IT!" cheered Maria as she lifts Lynn Sr over her head.
"We're all glad she won; would you please put me down?" asked Lynn Sr.
"Way to go, Nie-Nie!" cheered Bobby.
Back at Stow-on-Side Stadium, Allister returns his Gengar to its pokeball.
"Rest now, Gengar." said Allister. He puts the pokeball back on his waist and walks over to Ronnie Anne who was returning her Blastoise to her pokeball. "You are a strong trainer."
"You were pretty tough yourself, Allister." said Ronnie Anne. Allister reaches into one of his pockets and pulls out a Ghost Badge.
"As proof of your victory, I present you with the Ghost Badge." said Allister. He hands the badge, along with some pokedollars, to Ronnie Anne.
"Woot, woot! I just won the Ghost Badge!" said Ronnie Anne as she holds it up in triumph.
Later in the stadium lobby, everyone was congratulating Ronnie Anne on her victory.
"You were great, Ronnie Anne!" said Sam.
"We're glad you won!" said Lana.
"Yeah!" said Lola. A staff member comes over to them.
"So, who's battling next?" asked the staff member. Luna steps forward.
"I will." said Luna.
"Very well." said the staff member. "When you're ready, enter the test area." Luna walks to the doors to the test area and enters it. Once inside, an official explains the rules to Luna; she then walks to the first platform and climbs into the large teacup. She rides the teacup down the platform until she reaches the end of it.
She then climbs onto the teacup of the second platform. She rides down it; it was a little difficult from the green hands knocking her around, but she was able to make it to the end of the platform.
She was soon riding a teacup down the final platform; it was a little more difficult than the second platform, but she made it in the end. She climbs off the teacup and walks to the stairs leading to the exit and walks up it until she reaches the top; smoke shoots up from both sides of the platform she was on, indicating she passed the Gym Test. In the lobby of the stadium and the Loud house, everyone was cheering her.
"Way to go, Lunes!" said Sam.
"She did it." said Leni.
"I knew she could do it." said Rita.
"That's our girl." said Lynn Sr.
"Now all she has to do is whoop Allister and that badge is hers." said Lynn Jr.
"I hope she can do it." said Lori. Back at Stow-on-Side, Luna and Allister were walking out onto the field while Lincoln and the others were on the bleachers, an official walks onto the field.
"This gym battle is between the gym leader, Allister, and the Gym Challenger, Luna Loud. Both trainers will use four Pokemon. The first trainer to defeat all their opponent's Pokemon will be the winner. Let the battle begin." said the official. Luna and Allister walk to opposite ends of the arena and they each take out a pokeball.
"Yamask, go." said Allister, throwing Yamask's pokeball and releasing it.
"Allister starts off with his Yamask; what will Luna start off with?" asked the announcer.
"Sharpedo, let's rock!" said Luna as she throws Sharpedo's pokeball and releasing him.
"And Luna starts with a Sharpedo." said the announcer.
"Yamask, use Slam." said Allister. Yamask swings one of its arms at Sharpedo and hits it, dealing damage; Yamask rubs its arm it used.
"Looks like your Yamask fell for my Sharpedo's Rough Skin ability, little dude." said Luna.
"My Yamask also has an ability as well." said Allister. Sharpedo skin suddenly turned pale.
"Oh yeah; your Yamask's Wandering Spirit ability." said Luna. "No big deal; Sharpedo, use Ice Fang!" Sharpedo lunges at Yamask while his fangs were covered in ice and he bites Yamask, dealing super effective damage to it.
"Yamask, use Night Shade." said Allister. Yamask unleashes crimson energy rings from its face, and it hits Sharpedo, dealing damage to him.
"Sharpedo, Crunch!" said Luna. Sharpedo lunges at Yamask with its fangs bared.
"Protect." said Allister. A green force field appears around Yamask and blocks Sharpedo's attack. "Now use Slam." Yamask strikes Sharpedo with its arm, knocking him back.
"Use Ice Fang!" said Luna. Sharpedo lunges at Yamask and bites it with ice coated fangs, dealing super effective damage and freezing it.
"Yamask, try using Slam." said Allister. Yamask remained frozen and cannot attack.
"Use Crunch, Sharpedo!" said Luna. Sharpedo lunges at Yamask and bites it hard, knocking it out.
"Yamask is unable to battle; Sharpedo wins the match." said the official.
"Way to go, Sharpedo!" said Luna.
"You go, Luna!" cheered Sam.
"She's did great." said Lincoln. Back at Royal Woods.
"Yeah! Luna's Sharpedo creamed that kid's Yamask!" said Lynn Jr.
"It wasn't easy, though." said Rita.
"I'm sure Luna will do just fine." said Lori.
"I hope you're right." said Luan. Back at Stow-on-Side, Allister returns Yamask to its pokeball.
"You rest now, Yamask." said Allister. He puts Yamask's pokeball away and pulls out another one.
"Luna's Sharpedo has beaten Allister's Yamask; what will Allister bring out next?" asked the announcer.
"Go, Mimikyu." He throws Mimikyu's pokeball and releases it.
"And Allister brings out his Mimikyu." said the announcer.
"Mimikyu, use Hone Claws." said Allister. Mimikyu stick tail glows red, and an orange aura surrounds its body, increasing its attack strength.
"Sharpedo, use Crunch!" said Luna. Sharpedo lunges at Mimikyu and bites it; due to its Disguise ability, Mimikyu only took little damage and the head of its costume tips to the side.
"Mimikyu, Wood Hammer." said Allister. Mimikyu's stick tail grows and is surrounded by a dark aura; it swings it tail and hits Sharpedo, dealing super effective and knocking him out.
"Sharpedo is unable to battle; Mimikyu wins the match." said the official. Mimikyu shakes its stick tail from the recoil damage from Wood Hammer.
"Allister's Mimikyu has beaten Luna's Sharpedo; what will Luna do next?" asked the announcer.
"Don't worry, Luna; you can still turn this around." said Lincoln.
"Yeah, what he said." said Clyde. Back at Royal Woods.
"Go, Luna!" said Sam.
"That Mimikyu wouldn't be so hard to beat if it wasn't for that Disguise ability." said Lynn Jr.
"Luna won't let that stop her." said Lori.
"No, she will not." said Lynn Sr. Back at Stow-on-Side, Luna returns Sharpedo to his pokeball.
"You take a nice rest, brah." said Luna. She puts Sharpedo's pokeball away and pulls out another one. "Let's go, Toxtricity!" She throws Linoone's pokeball and releases her.
"Luna's second Pokemon is a Toxtricity." said the announcer.
"Okay, Toxtricity, use Charge!" said Luna. Toxtricity's body becomes surrounded by sparks and her special defense increases.
"Mimikyu, use Slash." said Allister. Mimikyu leaps at Toxtricity and slashes her with its stick tail, knocking her back.
"Toxtricity, use Discharge!" said Luna. Toxtricity unleashes bolts of electricity from her body, and they hit Mimikyu, dealing damage to it; it begins twitching.
"Mimikyu's paralyzed." said Lincoln. Lucy looks on in silence.
"Mimikyu, use Slash." said Allister. Mimikyu fights through its paralysis and slashes Toxtricity with its tail, damaging her.
"Use Screech!" said Luna. Toxtricity lets out a loud shriek and releases soundwaves at Mimikyu, weakening its defense.
"Use Slash." said Allister, Unfortunately, paralysis kicks in, stopping Mimikyu's attack.
"Now use Spark!" said Luna. Toxtricity's body becomes surrounded by electricity; she charges at Mimikyu and rams it, knocking it out.
"Mimikyu is unable to battle. Toxtricity wins the match." said the official.
"And Allister's Mimkyu has fallen to Luna's Toxtricity; what will he bring out next?" asked the announcer.
"Way to go, Luna!" said Sam.
"Just two more Pokemon left." said Lana. Back at Royal Woods, everyone was cheering for Luan.
"Go, Luna!" said Lori.
"Gah gah!" cheered Lily.
"That Allister kid doesn't stand a chance." said Lynn Jr. Back at Stow-on-Side, Allister returns Mimikyu to its pokeball.
"You did well, Mimikyu; you've earned a rest." said Allister. He puts Mimikyu's pokeball away and pulls out another one. "Cursola, go." He throws Cursola's pokeball and releases it.
"And Allister's next Pokemon is his Cursola." said the announcer.
"Toxtricity, use Discharge!" said Luna. Toxtricity unleashes bolts of electricity from her body, and they hit Cursola, damaging it. Cursola begins to slump while energy surges through it.
"Looks like Cursola's Weak Armor activated." said Clyde. "Now its speed is increased, but its defense weakens."
"Cursola, Ancient Power." said Allister. Cursola becomes surrounded by silver energy; it forms into a ball and Cursola launches it at Toxtricity, hitting her. Cursola begins surging with energy and its stats increase. "Now use Tackle." Cursola leaps at Toxtricity and rams her, knocking her back.
"Toxtricity, use Discharge!" said Luna. Toxtricity unleashes electricity from her body, and they hit Cursola, but not doing much damage than the previous Discharge due to Cursola's special defense being increased by Ancient Power.
"Use Ancient Power." said Allister. Cursola launches another silver ball of energy at Toxtricity, hitting her, and knocking her out.
"And Luna's Toxtricity is out; now Luna has only two Pokemon left." said the announcer.
"Don't give up, Luna!" said Lincoln.
"We know you can do it!" said Lana.
"Don't give up!" said Sam. Luna returns Toxtricity to her pokeball.
"You were rockin' Toxtricity." said Luna. She puts Toxtricity's pokeball away and pulls out another one. "Go, Poliwhirl!" She throws Poliwhirl's pokeball and releases him.
"And Luna brings out a Poliwhirl." said the announcer.
"Okay, Poliwhirl, use Rain Dance!" said Luna. Poliwhirl begins to dance around; dark clouds form above the arena and it begins to rain.
"Cursola, Tackle." said Allister. Cursola leaps at Poliwhirl and rams into him, knocking him back.
"Poliwhirl, use Bubblebeam!" said Luna. Poliwhirl unleashes a beam of glowing bubbles and they hit Cursola, damaging it, and lowering its speed.
"Cursola, Hex." said Allister. Cursola forms a ball of black energy with a red eye in the middle of it; blue energy rings are unleashed from it, and they hit Poliwhirl, damaging him.
"Use Water Gun, dude!" said Luna. Poliwhirl unleashes a spiral of water at Cursola, hitting it, and knocking it out.
"Cursola is unable to battle; Poliwhirl wins the match." said the official.
"Luna's Poliwhirl has beaten Allister's Cursola; now he has only one Pokemon left." said the announcer. Lincoln, his sisters, and his sisters, as well as the rest of his family in Royal Woods continue cheering for her.
"You're doing radical, Luna!" said Sam.
"Just one Pokemon to go!" said Ronnie Anne.
"You can do it!" said Leni. Allister returns Cursola to its pokeball.
"You deserve a rest, Cursola." said Allister. He puts Cursola's pokeball away and pulls out another one. "Go, Gengar." He throws Gengar's pokeball and releases him from it.
"And Allister's final Pokemon is his Gengar; is Allister going to do what I think he's going to do?" said the announcer. Allister returns Gengar to its pokeball while his eyes glowed purple. He enlarges Gengar's pokeball with his Dynamax Band and throws it, releasing his Gengar, now Gigantamaxed. "He did; Allister has Gigantimaxed his Gengar."
"Gengar, use G-Max Terror." said Allister. Gengar launches ghostly furniture at Poliwhirl, as well as making an image of Gigantamax Gengar appearing underneath him that hits him with more dark energy, dealing damage to him and knocking him out.
"Poliwhirl is unable to battle. Gengar wins the match." said the official.
"Allister's Gengar has taken out Luna's Poliwhirl in one move; will Luna be able to turn this around?" asked the announcer.
"You can do it, Lunes!" shouts Sam. Luna nods at Sam before returning Poliwhirl to his pokeball.
"You did your best, dude." said Luna. She puts Poliwhirl's pokeball away and takes out another one. "Go, Gigalith!" She throws Gigalith's pokeball and releases her.
"And Luna's final Pokemon is a Gigalith." said the announcer. Luna returns Gigalith to her pokeball and enlarges it with her Dynamax Band; she throws it and releases Gigalith, now Dynamaxed.
"Luna has Dynamaxed her Gigalith; how will it do against a Gigantamaxed Gengar?" asked the announcer.
"Gigalith, use Max Rockfall!" said Luna. Gigalith stomps one of her legs onto the floor, making a large stone slab rise up from the arena floor; it falls over and lands on Gengar, damaging it. The rain from Poliwhirl's Rain Dance disappears and a sandstorm appears in its place.
"Gengar, G-Max Terror." said Allister. Gengar launches ghostly furniture at Gigalith, as well as making an image of Gigantamax Gengar appearing underneath her that hits her with more dark energy, dealing damage to her. The sandstorm from Gigalith's Max Rockfall hits Gengar, dealing more damage to it.
"Gigalith, use Max Quake!" said Luna. Gigalith creates a shockwave that sends pieces of the arena floor flying at Gengar, hitting it, and dealing super effective damage to it; energy begins surging through Gigalith and her special defense increases.
"Gengar, use Max Darkness." said Allister. Gengar releases streams of black energy from its hands and they hit Gigalith, damaging her, and weakening her special defense. More sand from the sandstorm hits Gengar, dealing more damage to it. Gengar suddenly shrinks down to its regular size.
"Gengar has shrunk down to its regular size; will it still be able to beat Luna's Gigalith?" asked the announcer.
"We'll see; Gigalith, use Max Rockfall!" said Luna. Gigalith stomps on the floor and another giant stone slab rises up, and falls onto Gengar, doing enough damage to knock it out.
"Gengar is unable to battle; Gigalith wins. The winner of this gym battle is the challenger, Luna Loud." said the announcer.
"And it's over! Luna's Gigalith has defeated Allister's Gengar to earn Luna the victory!" said the announcer.
"Yeah!" cheered Luna as Gigalith returned to her regular size. Luna takes out her guitar and begins jamming on it. Lincoln, his sisters, except Lucy, and friends begin cheering; everyone in Royal Woods were cheering as well. Allister returns Gengar to its pokeball.
"You did well, Gengar." said Allister. He puts Gengar's pokeball away and walks over to Luna. She continued jamming on her guitar and stops when she sees Allister holding out a Ghost Badge to her. "Thanks, little dude." She takes the Ghost Badge, along with pokedollars.
Later at the lobby, Luna and Sam were hugging.
"You did it, Lunes!" said Sam.
"You were great out there; with your Pokemon and your guitar." said Ronnie Anne.
"Thanks, little dudette." said Luna. Clyde walks over to the staff member.
"I would like to take the Gym Test next, sir." said Clyde. The staff member nods and steps to the side, allowing Clyde to the Test Area. Will Clyde be able to pass the Gym Test, as well as beat Allister? Find out.
