Hammerlocke Gym Battles (Part Four)
"Dusknoir, use Fire Punch on Abomasnow; Decidueye, use Pluck on Hakamo-o." said Lucy. Dusknoir floats towards Aria's Abomasnow while fire surrounded his fist and he punches Abomasnow, dealing super effective damage while Decidueye flies towards Aria's Hakamo-o while his beak glowed white and he jabs Hakamo-o with it, dealing super effective damage; Abomasnow and Hakamo-o fall near Aria, both with swirly eyes. Aria returns her Pokemon to their pokeballs.
"You two battled hard." said Aria. She puts both pokeballs away and lowers her head with her eyes closed while smiling. "You battled well, Lucy."
"Thank you." said Lucy from beside Aria, scaring her. After recovering from Lucy's scare, Aria gives Lucy pokedollars. Raihan walks over to Lucy.
"Well done; you've passed your Gym Test." said Raihan. "When you're ready, come to the stadium and we will have our battle."
Moments later, after Lucy got her Pokemon treated, she and Raihan were facing each other in the arena. Lincoln and his sisters and friends were watching from the audience; Marnie and Gloria each sat next to Lincoln, each with an arm around Lincoln's.
Back at Royal Woods, the rest of the Louds, as well as Howard and Harold McBride, and Simon Sharp were watching on television. Back at Hammerlocke stadium, an official walks to the center of the battle arena.
"This match will be between the Gym Leader, Raihan; and the Gym Challenger, Lucy Loud." said the official. "Both trainers will use four Pokemon, and each one can have two Pokemon out at the same time. Whichever trainer defeats all of their opponent's Pokemon first will be the winner. Let the match begin!" The official steps out of the arena while Lucy and Raihan each pull out two pokeballs.
"Gigalith, Flygon, go!" said Raihan as he tosses two pokeballs, releasing his Gigalith and Flygon.
"Raihan has brought out his Gigalith and Flygon; what will Lucy bring out?" asked the announcer. A sandstorm appears due to Gigalith's Sand Stream ability.
"Jellicent, Trevenant, go." said Lucy, tossing Jellicent and Trevenant's pokeballs, releasing them.
"Lucy brings out her Jellicent and Trevenant." said the announcer.
"Jellicent, Rain Dance; Trevenant, use Shadow Claw on Flygon." said Lucy. Jellicent spins around a few times; dark clouds appeared above the arena and it begins raining, cancelling out the sandstorm.
"Good move; not only will this rain power up Jellicent's water type moves, this rain also got rid of the sandstorm." said Lincoln. Trevenant leaps at Flygon while a shadowy aura surrounds her hand and she claws Flygon with it, dealing damage.
"Gigalith, use Rock Blast on Treveant; Flygon, use Breaking Swipe on Jellicent!" said Raihan. Gigalith fires rocks from its body and they hit Treveant, damaging her, while Flygon flies at Jellicent while purple energy surrounded its tail and Flygon hits Jellicent with it, damaging her.
"Jellicent, use Water Pulse on Flygon; Trevenant, use Horn Leech on Gigalith." said Lucy. Jellicent forms a ball of blue water between her tentacles and she launches it at Flygon, hitting it, and dealing more damage than it originally should have due to the rain powering up Jellicent's water type moves.
'Spirits; remind me to buy a Sea Incense at Hulbury for Jellicent.' Lucy thinks to herself. Trevenant leaps at Gigalith while her horns glowed green and she rams Gigalith with them, dealing massive damage to it due to Trevenant's Rose Incense powering up her grass type move, and healing her wounds as well.
"Flygon, use Thunder Punch on Jellicent; Gigalith, use Rock Slide!" said Raihan. Flygon flies at Jellicent while electricity surrounded its hand and it punches Jellicent with it, dealing super effective damage; multiple gray rocks appeared above Gigalith and they fly at both of Lucy's Pokemon, hitting them, and dealing damage.
"Trevenant, use Phantom Force on Flygon; Jellicent, use Brine on Gigalith." said Lucy. A purple portal appeared beneath Trevenant and she sinks into it, and the portal disappears. Jellicent releases a powerful stream of water at Gigalith and hits it, dealing enough damage to knock it out.
"Gigalith is unable to battle. Trevenant and Jellicent wins the match." said the official.
"Lucy's Jellicent has defeated Raihan's Gigalith; what will Raihan do now?" asked the announcer.
"All right, Lucy!" said Ronnie Anne.
"You're doing great!" said Leni.
"Keep it up!" said Lana. Back at Royal Woods.
"Way, Wucy!" cheered Lily.
"She took that Gigalith down!" said Lynn Jr.
"She still has three more Pokemon to beat." said Lynn Sr.
"We still believe in her." said Rita. Back at Hammerlocke stadium, the rain stopped. Raihan return Gigalith to its pokeball.
"You did well, Gigalith." said Raihan, He puts Gigalith's pokeball away and pull another pokeball from his waist. "Sandaconda, go!" He throws his Sandaconda's pokeball and releases it.
"Raihan's next Pokemon is his Sandaconda." said the announcer.
"Flygon, use Crunch on Jellicent; Sandaconda, use Brutal Swing on Jellicent!" said Raihan. Flygon flies at Jellicent and bites her, dealing super effective damage, and weakening her defense and Sandaconda follows by leaping at Jellicent while its tail glows pink and it hits Jellicent with it, dealing super effective damage, and knocking her out.
"Jellicent is unable to battle. Flygon and Sandaconda wins." said the official.
"Raihan's Pokemon has defeated Lucy's Jellicent; what will Lucy bring out next?" asked the announcer. A purple portal appeared near Flygon and Treveant rises out of it; she punches Flygon, knocking it out. "And Lucy's Trevenant has taken out Raihan's Flygon."
"Too bad for Jellicent, but at least Trevenant took down Flygon." said Clyde.
"Lucy can do it." said Luna. Back at Royal Woods.
"Lucy's doing good, despite her Jellicent falling to Raihan's Pokemon." said Lisa.
"Lucy can still win." said Rita.
"She literally will." said Lori. Back in Hammerlocke stadium, Lucy returns Jellicent to her pokeball.
"You did well, Jellicent." said Lucy. Raihan returned Flygon to its pokeball.
"You did well, too, Flygon." said Raihan. He puts Flygon's pokeball away while Lucy put Jellicent's away, and they each pull out a pokeball.
"Gengar, go." said Lucy, tossing Gengar's pokeball away, and releasing her while Raihan tosses a pokeball, releasing his Duraludon.
"Raihan has brought out his Duraludon while Lucy brings out her Gengar." said the announcer. Lucy returns Gengar to her pokeball while Raihan returned Duraludon to its pokeball; they enlarge the pokeballs with their Dynamax Bands and throws them, releasing both Pokemon, now Gigantamaxed. "Raihan and Lucy have both Gigantamaxed their Pokemon; there's no telling what will happen."
"Treveant, use Wood Hammer on Sandaconda; Gengar, use G-Max Terror on Duraludon." said Lucy. Trevenant leaps at Sandaconda while a green aura surrounds her hand and he pounds Sandaconda with it, dealing super effective damage; Gengar launches ghostly furniture at Duraludon and they hit it, dealing damage, while an image of a Gigantimaxed Gengar appeared beneath Duraludon that hits it with dark energy, dealng more damage to Duraludon.
"Sandaconda, use Fire Fang on Treveant; Duraludon, use Max Steelspike on Gengar!" said Raihan. Sandaconda leaps at Trevantant while fire surrounded its mouth, and it bites Trevenant, dealing super effective damage; large metal spike emerge from the arena floor in front of Duraludona and they go towards Gengar and they hit her, damaging her; energy beings surging through both Duraludon and Sandaconda, raising their defense.
"Treveant, use Branch Poke on Sandaconda; Gengar, use Max Darkness on Duraludon." said Lucy. Trevenant leaps at Sandaconda and thrusts her hand into Sandaconda, dealing super effective damage, and knocking it out; Gengar releases black streams of energy from her body and they hit Duraludon, damaging it, and weakening its special defense.
"Sandaconda is unable to battle. Gengar and Trevenant wins the match." said the official.
"Lucy's Trevenant has beaten Raihan's Sandaconda; only his Duraludon remains." said the official.
"Lucy's doing great so far." said Sam.
"She just has to beat Duraludon and she's got this." said Lincoln. Back at Royal Woods.
"Only one Pokemon to go and Lucy will win." said Luan.
"We believe in her." said Lynn Sr.
"Take Raihan down, Lucy!" said Lynn Jr. Back at Hammerlocke Stadium.
"Duraludon, use G-Max Depletion on Gengar!" said Raihan. Red swirls of energy surround Duraludon; it releases it onto Gengar and a vortex of purple energy with blue dragon wings surrounds her and it damages her.
"Trevenant, use Hex on Duraludon; Gengar, use G-Max Terror." said Lucy. Trevenant forms a ball of black energy with a red eye in the middle of it above her; dark blue rings of energy fires out of the eye and it hits Duraludon, dealing more damage than it originally would have due to Duraludon's special defense being weakened; Gengar summons ghostly furniture and she launches them at Duraludon, hitting it while an image of a Gigantamaxed Gengar appeared beneath it ; Duraludon returns to its regular form and collaspes.
"Duraludon is unable to battle. Gengar and Trevenant wins. The winner of this gym battle is the Gym Challenger, Lucy Loud." said the official.
"It's over! Lucy's Pokemon has defeated Raihan's Duraludon and earning her the victory!" said the announcer.
"Lucy did it!" said Lincoln.
"I, totes, knew she would." said Leni.
"That was amazing!" said Ronnie Anne. Back at Royal Woods, everyone was cheering.
"She won!" said Rita.
"Never doubted her for a second." said Lynn Jr. Back in Hammerlocke stadium, Lucy's Gengar returned to her regular size while Raihan returned Duraludon to its pokeball.
"You battled hard, Duraludon." said Raihan. He puts Duraludon's pokeball away and walks to Lucy. "You battled well, Lucy."
"Thanks." replied Lucy. Raihan reaches into his pocket and pulls out a Dragon Badge.
"For your victory here, I present you with the Dragon Badge." said Raihan. He gives Lucy the Dragon Badge, as well as pokedollars.
"Now Lucy has all the badges she needs for the Rose Cup." said Lola.
Later, at the lobby, everyone was congratulating Lucy on her victory while Marnie and Gloria were holding onto Lincoln and glaring at each other.
"You were, like, incredible." said Leni.
"Now you can compete in the Rose Cup." said Clyde. An official walks over to the group.
"Which of you will be challenging Raihan next?" asked the official.
"I will." replied Ronnie Anne.
"Once you change into your gym uniform, report to the Hammerlocke vault." said the official.
Meanwhile, at Royal Woods, the Louds were waiting for the next gym match when they hear knocking on the front door.
"I wonder who that is." said Lynn Sr. He walks to the front door and opens it, revealing Bobby Santiago, Maria Santigao, Hector, Rosa, Carlos, Frida, Carlota, CJ, Carl, and Carlitos Casagrande, all wearing Ronnie Anne merchandise.
"Hi, everyone; what brings you all here?" asked Lynn Sr.
"We want to see if Ronnie Anne has done any gym battles yet." replied Maria.
"Most of the kids battled the last gym leader, but Ronnie Anne could any minute." replied Rita.
"You mind if we watch?" asked Hector.
"I brought snacks." said Rosa, holding up two platters of hispanic food.
"Sure, you can watch with us." replied Lynn Sr. The Santiagos and the Casagrandes walked inside and sat down; Lori sat next to Bobby while resting her head on his shoulder.
Ronnie Anne makes her way to the Hammerlocke Vault where she meets up with Raihan who explains what she was required to do for her Gym Test; she takes on all three trainers in Double Battles, and manages to defeat them all.
Once Ronnie Anne passes her Gym Test, she makes her way back to Hammerlocke Stadium and head heads out onto the field where Raihan was just coming out of another tunnel, heading for the center like Ronnie Anne was.
"You did well in your Gym Test, young lady." said Raihan.
"Now you'll get to see what I can really do." said Ronnie Anne. She and Raihan head to opposite ends of the field while an official heads out to the center.

Raihan tosses his, releasing his Flygon and Gigalith; and Ronnie Anne tosses hers, releasing her Weavile and Hawlucha.
"Raihan starts out with his Flygon and Gigalith, while Ronnie Anne begins with her Weavile and Hawlucha!" said the announcer. "Let's see what our trainers will do now!" A sandstorm suddenly appears, thanks to Gigalith's Sand Stream ability.
"Weavile, use Icy Wind on Flygon! Hawlucha, use Flying Press!" said Ronnie Anne. Weavile releases a blast of icy wind that hits Flygon, dealing super effective damage and lowering its speed, while her Hawlucha leaps up into the air and comes plummeting down, belly first, onto Gigalith, dealing super effective damage as well; both her Pokemon take damage from the sandstorm.
"Flygon, use Dragon Claw on Weavile! Gigalith, use Rock Slide on it also!" said Raihan. His Flygon flies at Weavile with glowing green claws and slashes him across the chest, dealing damage; while Gigalith drops a bunch of rocks on him, dealing super effective damage.
"Hang in there, Ronnie Anne!" Clyde calls out from the crowd.
"Weavile, use Metal Claw on Gigalith! Hawlucha, use High Jump Kick on it also!" said Ronnie Anne. Her Weavile's claws turned into metal as he slashes Raihan's Gigalith, dealing super effective damage; while her Hawlucha jumps up, and comes down with a strong kick to Gigalith, dealing super effective damage, and knocking it out.
"Gigalith is unable to battle. Weavile and Hawlucha are the winners." said the official.
"And Ronnie Anne takes down Raihan's Gigalith!" said the official. "Can she manage to beat his remaining Pokemon and claim victory in this match?!"
"You bet she will!" said Lana.
"She can do it!" said Lola.
Back in Royal Woods, everyone there, especially the Casagrandes, were supporting Ronnie Anne.
"She's doing good so far." said Lori.
"WOOOOOOOOOO! GO, RONNIE ANNE!" said Maria.
"These Pokemon are fascinating creatures." said Carlos.
"Hawlucha looks so cool!" said Carl.
"It sure does!" said Bobby.
Back in Hammerlocke, Raihan was returning his Gigalith to its pokeball.
"You did your best, Gigalith." said Raihan. He puts Gigalith's pokeball away and pulls another one off his waist; he tosses it, releasing his Sandaconda.
"And Raihan brings out his Sandaconda!" said the announcer. "Will it help Raihan win this match?!"
"Flygon, use Dragon Breath on Weavile! Sandaconda, use Slam on Hawlucha!" said Raihan. His Flygon releases a stream of green energy from its mouth, hitting Weavile, and knocking him out; while Sandaconda slams its tail down on Hawlucha, dealing damage.
"Weavile is unable to battle. Flygon and Sandaconda are the winners." said the official.
"And Raihan takes down Ronnie Anne's Weavile!" said the announcer. "Now both trainers have three Pokemon remaining!"
"Poor Weavile." said Lucy.
"What's Ronnie Anne gonna do now?" asked Lincoln as Marnie and Gloria rest their heads on his shoulders while glaring at each other.
"She's gonna win this!" said Luna.
Back in Royal Woods, everyone was still watching Ronnie Anne's match.
"No way!" said Carl.
"Ronnie Anne can still win." said C.J.
"DON'T GIVE UP, RONNIE ANNE!" shouts Maria.
"We just gotta believe in her." said Rosa.
Back in Hammerlocke Stadium, Ronnie Anne returns her Weavile to his pokeball.
"You were great, Weavile." said Ronnie Anne. She puts Weavile's pokeball back on her waist and pulls another one off; she tosses it, releasing her Blastoise.
"And Ronnie Anne brings out her Blastoise!" said the announcer. Both Ronnie Anne's Pokemon take damage from the sandstorm.
"Blastoise, use Rain Dance to get rid of this sandstorm! Hawlucha, use Wing Attack on Flygon!" said Ronnie Anne. Her Blastoise does some dance moves, making a rainstorm happen that washes away the sandstorm, while Hawlucha slashes Flygon with one of her wings.
"Flygon, use Earth Power on Blastoise!" Sandaconda, use Headbutt on Hawlucha!" said Raihan. Flygon causes the ground beneath Blastoise to explode, dealing damage to her; while Sandaconda lunges at Hawlucha, hitting her with its head.
"Blastoise, use Hydro Pump on Sandaconda! Hawlucha, use Flying Press on Flygon!" said Ronnie Anne. Her Blastoise fires two powerful streams of water at Sandaconda, dealing super effective damage, while Hawlucha leaps up and comes crashing down onto Flygon, driving it into the ground; both Raihan's Pokemon get knocked out.
"Flygon and Sandaconda are both unable to battle. Blastoise and Hawlucha are the winners." said the official.
"And Ronnie Anne takes down two more of Raihan's Pokemon!" said the official. "Now Raihan has only one Pokemon remaining! Can he come back from behind and score a victory?!"
"She's almost got this!" said Lana.
"Just one more to go!" said Sam.
Back at the Loud house, everyone was still cheering Ronnie Anne on.
"That was so cool!" said Carl.
"I wish I had a Pokemon." said C.J. Carlitos nods in response that he would want one also.
"RONNIE ANNE! RONNIE ANNE! RONNIE ANNE!" cheers Maria.
Back in Hammerlocke, Raihan returns his Flygon and Sandaconda to their pokeballs.
"You two did great." said Raihan. He puts his Flygon and Sandaconda's pokeballs back on his waist and pulls off his last one; he tosses it, releasing his Duraludon.
"And Raihan brings out his Duraludon!" said the announcer. Knowing what was gonna happen next, Ronnie Anne returns her Hawlucha to her pokeball just as Raihan does the same with his Duraludon; both trainers use their Dynamax Bands to enlarge their pokeballs, then toss them, releasing a now Dynamaxed Hawlucha, and a Gigantamaxed Duraludon.
"Now it's Dynamaxed Pokemon vs. Gigantamaxed Pokemon!" said the announcer.
"Hawlucha, use Max Knuckle! Blastoise, use Hydro Pump!" said Ronnie Anne. Blastoise fires another two powerful streams of water at Duraludon, hitting it, but not doing a lot of damage, while Hawlucha summons a large fist made of energy that hits it, doing super effective damage; a surge of energy rises up from Hawlucha, increasing her attack power.
"Duraludon, use G-Max Depletion on Hawlucha!" said Raihan. Red swirls of energy surround Duraludon; it releases it onto Hawlucha and a vortex of purple energy with blue dragon wings surrounds her, dealing damage.
"Time to finish this!" said Ronnie Anne. "Blastoise, use Bite! Hawlucha, one more Max Knuckle!" Her Blastoise runs at Duraludon and bites it, dealing damage, while Hawlucha launches another energy fist at it, dealing super effective damage, and causing the energy in it to explode; Duraludon returns to its normal size, unconscious.
"Duraludon is unable to battle. Hawlucha and Blastoise are the winners. The winner of the match is the Gym Challenger, Ronnie Anne Santiago." said the official.
"She's done it!" said the announcer. "Ronnie Anne has defeated Raihan to win the match!"
"Woohoo! You did it, Ronnie Anne!" said Lincoln.
"That was so cool!" said Clyde.
"Knew she could do it." said Lola.
Back at the Loud house, everyone there was celebrating Ronnie Anne's victory.
"She won!" said Carlota.
"I'm so happy for her!" said Frida as she cried.
"Please don't flood the house, sweetie." said Carlos.
"SHE WON! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" cheered Maria.
"I, literally, knew she could do it." said Lori.
"So did I." said Bobby.
Back at Hammerlocke Stadium, Raihan was returning his Duraludon to its pokeball.
"Rest up, Duraludon." said Raihan. He puts Duraludon's pokeball back on his waist and walks over to Ronnie Anne who was hugging her Hawlucha and Blastoise.
"You are a very strong trainer." said Raihan.
"I know." said Ronnie Anne with a smirk. Raihan takes a Dragon Badge out of his pocket.
"As proof of your victory here, I present you with the Dragon Badge." said Raihan. He hands the badge, along with some pokedollars, to Ronnie Anne.
Later, in the lobby, Ronnie Anne's friends were congratulating her on her victory.
"You were amazing!" said Lana.
"Now you have all eight badges." said Lucy.
"That is so amazing!" said Clyde. Ronnie Anne looks over at Lincoln and frowns when she sees Marnie and Gloria still holding his arms.
"Would you mind letting him go?" asked Ronnie Anne, making Marnie and Gloria glare at her. An official comes over to the group.
"Who is battling next?" asked the official.
"I will." said Luna.
"When you're ready, report to the vault for your Gym Test." said the official.
"You got it, dude." said Luna.
Lucy and Ronnie Anne have both earned their eighth badges. Now it's Luna's turn. Will she win? Wait and find out.
