To the ones asking for my permission to turn this into a comic/manga, I got only two words.

I am not interested in whatever snake oil you are trying to peddle. I've seen this very same scam play out on several art sites I'm apart of and it didn't work there, its not working now. Kindly stop flooding my reviews with these pleas.
Sorry for that to those who ACTUALLY enjoy the story so far, but I needed to get that out there. Right! Hope you all enjoyed the little break before the main event! Last chapter was my first lemon ever on here so hope you enjoyed that. May be more in the future. But for now, onwards!
The end of summer finally arrived. As August slipped into September, Central Duel Academy welcomed back its existing years and welcomed a new cache of students. Everyone was getting reacquainted after the long summer months. Catching up with friends, telling the new students the rules, how the dorms worked.
It was basically one big reunion party.
As the night fell on the island, the students all went to bed. But a select group of the faculty stayed up. They were joined by Seto and Mokuba Kaiba. Once everyone was assembled, they headed down to the tennis courts.
Upon entering, there was a massive machine sitting in the center of the court. A large group of people in lab coats were working on the machine. They would go up to two people before heading off again. Said two people was a young man in a yellow blazer and an old man in a lab coat.
Currently, Bastion saw something out of place on the machine and grabbed a tool. After adjusting a nut, he turned around. Seeing the group, he tapped the older gentleman on the shoulder.
"Doctor Eisenstein? They're here." Bastion stated.
The man stood up suddenly. He turned around, smiling a big smile. Kaiba crossed his arms.
"Remind me again why we need this Dimensional Portal Generator again?" Kaiba asked, Eisenstein glaring.
"Vell, if someone didn't punch a Kaiba Corp shuttle sized hole in our dimensional layer trying to have und rematch with Pharaoh Atem, ve vould not need this to check on the dimensional integrity." Eisenstein snapped.
Kaiba had the decency to look away with a slight blush on his face. His little brother snickered, recalling the whole Dark Side Dimensions debacle. Turns out that Kaiba had accidentally tore open a massive hole in the dimensions on his trip to duel the Pharaoh one more time.
"Add in the Sacred Beasts rather violent wake up call and the Light of Ruin debacle last year, we're a tad concerned about the barriers between our world and the spirit world. Last thing we need is another Seal of Orichalcos incident." Bastion commented, checking some screens.
The last connections were made and the machine came to life. Kaiba looked at the lab assistants. They all gave thumbs up. Eisenstein pushed a single button.

In another time, another place, a similar event was happening. A city of neon and advance technology. This is Maimi City, home of the Leo Corperation. The Leo corp was a conglomerate of dueling, not unlike Kaiba Corp. But unlike Kaiba corp, they focused on one type of dueling.
Action Duels.
Action duels were created by Leo Corp to spice up the usual dueling. Using the Augmented Reality Combat system, or ARC as it was called, duelists could interact with their monsters. In addition to the intercation of their monsters, they could move around the field.
But that was not what the head was focusing on today.
Currently, the head of the Leo Corporation was walking to a machine. His name is Declan Akaba. He was a thin young man with pale skin and grey hair, the front layer being a lighter grey than the back. His hair is arranged in a simple style, flicking upwards at the ends.
His eyes were purple and wore red-framed spectacles. Both of his ears were pierced with black stud earrings. He wore a dark-blue sweater, white pants that end just above his ankles, and white shoes. Finishing it all off was a long red scarf wrapped around his shoulders with the ends trailing to the small of his back.
He walked up to a machine where several people were working either on it or at several terminals. Meeting him halfway was one of his lead scientists. Recently, he had begun looking into the whereabouts of his father, Leo Aakba, founder of the Leo Corporation.
He had found him, but in another dimension. He had been forced back, but after years of research, he had the means.
"Mister Akaba? We're ready." A scientist said.
Declan nodded. A large button sat before him. Without hesitation, he slammed his hand down on the button.

The funny thing about dimensional boundaries? They are not typical lines in a 2D space you would see on a map. They are 4D tubes that twist and distort on themselves. This twisting and distorting did the same thing to energy. For the two dimensional beams of energy, they entered the tube like normal.
Under normal circumstances, the theory the Eisenstein had was that the energy from either dimension would just travel in a straight line, running parallel to one another. But normal did not begin to describe the fourth dimension. A sudden upshift of the tube caused the energies from both dimensions to cross streams.
The brush of the two energies had drastic and immediate effects. Both beams began to feed off of one another, trying to break the stalemate they were now in. Energy from Declan's dimension fed into the beam from Kaiba's dimension.
This caused the Kaiba beam to drawing in energy from its own dimension to force the energy back, amplifying it. An endless feedback loop began. Soon the point where both energy points met began to expand.

"VHAT!?" Eisenstein shouted, seeing several alerts and alarms happening all at once.
"Doctor, what is going on!?" Mokuba shouted.
"Somehow ve have crossed with another dimensional energy beam! But it is not as temporary as I thought! It's...its growing! Power to zhe tens, to zhe hundreds, to zhe-!"
"SHUT IT DOWN! EMERGENCY SHUT DOWN NOW!" Kaiba roared.
The scientists all scrambled, trying to shut the machine down. One even yanked out the power supply. But still the machine whined and hummed. They couldn't stop it.
It was a runaway energy cascade.

Akaba watched as every screen in his lab turned red, alarms and klaxon's wailing. Several of his scientists were rushing around. They soon were trying to shut down his machine. Grabbing a scientist, he demanded to know what was going on.
"Sir, we hit another dimensional energy beam, just like your sims showed, but it is not temporary like we thought! It's a runaway energy cascade!"
Akaba's eyes went wide. He ordered the power unit removed. A worker had already done that...but it was still going. Akaba watched as the machine began to glow a bright white.

Both dimensional areas began to phase in and out of the reality. If one were watching from a TV screen, it would look like a 3D effect without the glasses was happening. The white light rushed over the island, causing those still awake to cry out in shock. Both Kaiba's covered their eyes, Mokuba mentally groaning.
Here we go again! The younger Kaiba thought, recalling all of their crazy adventures over the decade.
"I blame you for this, Big Bro!" Mokuba shouted.
Akaba could only watch as the white light washed over the room. He knew it was rushing over the rest of the world. He felt something grab his side. He looked down to see a young girl in a hoodie, staring up at him in fear.
"Big bro...what's happening?!" She asked, scared.
"...I don't know, Riley..." He whispered, hugging his adopted sister tightly.
Everything went bright at that.

Jaden winced, his mind registering noise outside of the window. He sat up, feeling the body stirring as well.
"Jaden?" Alexis whispered. "What's wrong?"
"Sh." Jaden said, touching her shoulder calmly. "Do you hear that?"
Alexis had been over at the Blue Boys dorm to reconnect with Syrus and Chazz, both of whom were promoted to Blue. After getting permission from the new head of the Blue Dorm, Victor Quartermane, she had roomed with Jaden. She was clad only in her bra and panties, while he had been in his boxers.
Watching her boyfriend head to the window, she followed. Opening up the door, both were shocked to see the island in the middle of a city. Nearby was a large dome. The King of the Ring looked around, shocked, just as Alexis was.
"...This has Kaiba written all over it." Jaden commented. "So much for a quiet year."
Yep! Sorry Jaden, but no rest for the wicked here! So CDA has appeared in the bay of Miami City (Paradise City in the English Dub). Wonder how everyone will react to Action duels and Duel-Tainment? Stay tuned to find out!
