Izuku's P.O.V.
"You put the bobbin in like this, then you use the pedal for power."
"Who knew sewing was so…complex."
"I can't believe during your grooming your father taught you how to read but not how to sew." Shoto's face became construed in a memory.
"He believed I would marry rich, that I would need to be able to read to my husband and we would have servants who sewed." Servants who did everything for him. Shoto was raised to believe he was going to be the perfect omega prize for some king. He probably would have had it too, if not for… poor guy. "Ouch."
"Oh no, are you okay?" He had basically sewn his thumb to the garment. His very calm demeanor did nothing to showcase that he was now bleeding profusely.
"Guess I should have been more careful." I pulled him from the machine and inspected his appendage. Without thinking I put his thumb in my mouth. The act was… intimate. I looked up to his dichromatic gaze and nearly melted. That's when I admitted to myself that I liked Shoto. Really liked Shoto. If Kacchan can be gay so can I. Or I guess… bisexual. Alphas and Omega. It's not like Kacchan gives me the time of day anyway.
"Sorry." I said, removing his finger with a blush, then reaching into my bag and wrapping his finger with a bandage. He blushed back. "I was pretty bad at sewing when I first started. Maybe not as bad as you but…" I chuckled. "How did it go last night with Kirishima?" I asked, trying to pull his mind away from that all too affectionate act.
The omega drifted his attention for a moment to remember. "Fine. You were correct, he is very nice." Nice. Doesn't sound particularly promising.
"Not an instant love connection?"
"That is… something that happens?"
"With people who are matched well. Denki and Shinsou said there was an immediate connection. So did Tenya and Inasa." One like I wish I had with Kacchan. But maybe… maybe I can survive on a friendship with Todoroki. We could each be our alpha's beards and enjoy each other's company all the while. It would be a dream.
"Oh well… maybe we will grow on each other." Shoto said, straightening out his skirt. I could tell he was uncomfortable in it.
The school has male omega dress in uniforms with skirts. It's supposed to make us more submissive, like taking that very dignity away from us will force us to say yes to anything. Even though we are males, dressing feminine makes us conform to how the world thinks we should be. He didn't grow up cross dressing, his grooming was very different from mine. Dignitaries tend to think cross-dressing their omegas is frowned upon, that they should be showcased for their unique configuration. The rest of the world simply thinks feminizing us is hot, something to be fetishized. Like I said he was groomed for kings, the rich, and me… well I was lucky the school would even take me in and raise me to be a half decent omega. The skirts are meant to give alphas easy access. Coupling that with flimsy school issued lace panties, it allows us to fulfill our purpose of spreading our legs for an alpha with ease. This must be such a culture shock for him.
"Kirishima is very nice." Was all I could think to say. Because he is. A soft and kind alpha, but an absolute beast when he needs to be. He'll be a good provider, any omega would be lucky to be his mate. I do hope my new friend grows to like him. He'd be treated well. Taken care of, just not… romantically.
"Yes."
"Shoto?"
"Yes?"
"What's your quirk?"
"Oh…" He blushed, then put a hand to his expensive collar. Collars neutralize quirks. They're not just to show family ownership or claim by your alpha, but they also keep omega from becoming too powerful. I've always wanted a nice collar like Shoto's… or really a collar at all for that matter. I wear a green scrap of fabric Kacchan gave me when we were young around my neck. It shows that I belong to Kacchan… at least I feel like it does. It's not much at all, doesn't offer ample in the way of protection and Kacchan won't honor it as his claim, but well it's the best I could do. "Fire and Ice. I can do them both." I was floored. Completely shocked! That could be the best quirk ever! Most heroes would kill for a quirk like that!
"Forget being a 911 operator, you should be a hero!" I blurted out.
He blushed even further. "You shouldn't speak that way, we are omega Izuku."
"If you were an alpha, you would be great!"
"Yes, my father won't let me forget it." I was completely enamored by how incredible he was I didn't even realize the bell had just rung. "We should go."
"Oh yes, right." I said getting up and putting away my machine. "Have you ever been allowed to use your quirk? Like really use it?"
Shoto put his backpack on and adjusted his skirt once more before we both walked out of the craft room and down the hall to a different omega classroom. We have Dynamics next. I motioned for him to sit in the front next to me. Again, he adjusted the skirt before sitting. "I can't say that I have. Though my father once allowed me to take off my collar for a few days because I was growing and it was in need of adjustment, he never truly allowed me to use my quirk. Didn't want to tempt fate."
"Oh."
"But… in the shower… when it's off… I like to control the temperature of the water." He blushed, as though he was telling me his most closely held secret. Maybe he was. I was truly honored. He looked down and played with his fingertips.
"Who holds your key now?" I asked as the other omega students filed in. I'd imagine his father held it his whole life, but now that he's here...
"I'm not sure… maybe one of the Alpha teachers. I showered with the collar on last night." I swallowed. I really didn't know. I think maybe Mr. Aizawa holds the keys.
"They might give it to Kirishima but… they may wait too. Hitoshi didn't get my key until I found out I was pregnant the first time." Denki said as he filed in behind Shoto. That didn't make Shoto relax one bit. He shares my same sentiment, we're not ready to have a baby. It makes everything harder, especially to graduate. Kacchan's perfectly fine with it, he won't come near me anyway… not that it seems like I'll get my heat any time soon. And even if I did… I doubt Kacchan would…
"Alright students, settle down, we have a new student. Shoto Todoroki." My new friend stood up as Ms. Midnight announced his name.
"I figured now was as good a time as any, we'll have a review, catch Mr. Todoroki up to speed. But before that, Shoto, do you have any questions?"
"A few." He said politely, sitting back down. "I'm not sure I fully understand the companionship program?"
"Right, right." Ms. Midnight walked around her desk and folded her arms. "You're matched with Eijiro Kirishima. Right, yes. The program is designed to teach young alpha and omega how to handle and understand their instincts and dynamics." She began making circles with her wrist, searching for the words to tell us what we were here to do without actually telling us what we were meant to do. "You are there to teach a young alpha how to treat an omega. Manners, respect, breeding techniques if needed." Breeding techniques? That's laughable, we're there to be a chew toy for an alpha in rut, a cock sleeve any other time. But of course my alpha won't follow the game plan. Always one for rebellion.
"So we're supposed to have sex with them." Shoto confirmed in confusion. The whole room gasped.
"You are a companion. That is it. To keep an alpha company, be a support in whatever capacity is needed. Omega are not sexual objects; the school does not support procreative activities." I looked over at Shoto and he had never been more confused.
"That's why we have a nursery and daycare shifts built into our schedules right?" Kaminari laughed quietly to the two of us.
"Do you understand Shoto?"
I gave him a look to just say yes. Surprisingly he understood my expression. I've gathered that he isn't generally very receptive to those types of things. "Yes Ma'am."
"Any other questions?"
"Yes, who should I talk to about adding more core classes to my schedule? I'd like to be able to pass the placement exam after graduation."
Ms. Midnight looked surprised. "You're the second omega student to ask about that." She looked at me with suspicious eyes. "Your schedule is adjusted to suit your needs and account for your current level." I felt myself look down in disappointment. That's the same speech she gave me last week. "But…Now with two omega wanting tougher placement… maybe we could transfer you to one or two regular classes. Safety in numbers and all…" She said thinking about it, clicking her alpha nails on the desk. "Now if there are no further questions, let's talk about dynamics. We were last talking about heats. They come about every six weeks and more frequently in the springtime. Can anyone tell me how frequently?" Nearly every other week by the rate that omega miss class in the spring. That's yet another reason why none of us can graduate on time.
After class Ms. Midnight gave Todoroki and I a note to stop by the office. It was actually happening! We were actually going to take some real classes! Math, science, all the hard stuff we've been missing. Doors were finally being opened to us. This could really change things for omega everywhere! Instead of beading and fine needlework, Shoto and I were taking ninth grade math. I was so excited I almost couldn't handle myself. For third period we walked to the alpha side of the school. I could feel them all looking at me, questioning in their minds what we were doing here. Shoto tugged down his skirt and brushed his hair behind his ear nervously.
"You'll get used to it, the skirts." I commented, looking at the room numbers to try and find the right place.
"I feel so exposed, like I'm not even wearing pants at all."
"It doesn't help that all the alphas are looking at us."
"No. Not in the least."
"Are you two lost?" I turned around and recognized Tenya Iida and Tsu. They're Inasa and Ochaco's alphas respectively. Inasa was my old roommate, he just had Tenya's twins. He doesn't like me, or anyone else for that matter much, but Iida has always been nice.
"Not lost, we have math class."
"Math? Like alpha math?"
"Yes, we were just transferred."
"Well come on, we have math next too. I'm Tenya." Iida said bowing to Shoto.
"Tsu."
"Shoto." They smiled at us and walked us cordially to our room, sitting next to us protectively. We sort of needed the protection. There were a lot of alphas around, sniffing, making snide comments about why we were here. They're just not used to having omega nearby.
Yeah, almost every alpha has an omega companion but well they're just not really used to having us around in their everyday lives I don't think. They keep us separated all day in school. Then after school while the Alphas have hero training and other activities, the omega usually are making dinner, cleaning, or taking care of little ones. The alphas don't have to see us if they don't want to. They're required an hour a day of bonding time and five hours on the weekend, but past that they're free to do whatever. Some alphas are good, like Iida and Shinsou. They hang out with their kids and stay all night. But most don't. Kacchan doesn't. And they don't have to. So I guess seeing two omega in their math class is a little shocking for them. "Seven."
"What?"
"The answer to the problem on the board. It's seven." Shoto said to me as we found our seats. I wasn't sure if he was right, it looked really complex, but I trusted him. As I pulled a notebook out, I noticed Kacchan and Kirishima walk in. I immediately sat up straight and put a big smile on my face.
"You have got to be kidding me." Kacchan nearly growled, walking past me and sitting in the back. Well… that certainly could have gone worse. Okay, I'm here. I'm taking a math class, one that the love of my life and new friend are both taking. I can do this.
Mr. Ectoplasm walked in, and I nearly lost it. We're being taught by real heroes, real Alpha heroes! I mean yeah, Ms. Midnight is an Alpha hero too… but…This was so exciting! Class was very intense. I could barely keep up. I've never been challenged like this. It was a thrill! Is this what Kacchan does all day everyday? It is so breathtaking! I would glace over at Todoroki ever so often and although he had a bored look on his face, he was writing furiously. I hope he was having as great of a time as I was. After class while we were packing up, Mr. Ectoplasm called us up to the front of the room.
"It seems the presence of omega has stirred up some commotion in the class today."
"Apologies, we didn't want to cause a disruption." Shoto bowed, letting his silken hair fall in his face.
"We really didn't mean it, we're just excited to learn." I added.
"It's alright, hardly anyone answers my questions these days, it was refreshing to have some motivated students for once."
"Ecto, my boy, how was class?" I looked to my left and nearly fainted. No, no way! I knew he taught here but I never thought in a million years I would get to meet him. All Might.
"Productive. We got two new omega in class. Todoroki Shoto and Midoriya Izuku. They seem to be adjusting very well." All Might looked at the two of us. Don't pass out, don't pass out, don't pass out!
"Omega in the hero course? My, my, the world is becoming progressive isn't it?" Before I could respond, Mr. Ectoplasm chimed in for us.
"Not the full hero course, just math, science, and maybe a language class next semester. According to the note I got, they want to be 911 operators."
"Oh like Hawks and the current student Tamaki. Fantastic. Well welcome aboard." All Might just shook my hand. He… he actually just touched me. I think that's when I passed out. If only for a millisecond. My brain short-circuited. I can't believe that just happened! I just met All Might!
Shoto's P.O.V.
"Izuku, are you okay?"
"All Might touched my hand." He wouldn't stop staring at it, I'm becoming concerned he may never wash it again, or touch anything else.
"I think All Might broke him." Koyka, deemed the 'punk rock' omega, chuckled.
"I can't believe you guys really met All Might! Is he as handsome as he is on tv?" Ochaco, a beautiful female omega Izuku is fond of, asked as we waited in line at the cafeteria.
"More! The most incredible sight I've ever seen! Actually perfect." Izuku gawked, fanning himself. Perfect? Yes, as an alpha, he certainly lives up to the hype. They went on to giggle about his muscles and jaw line, how they'd kill to be bred by him. It's a nice sentiment, but not really a thought I wished to entertain. My alpha is Kirishima Eijiro, I must devote my thoughts and energy to him and only him. We got to the front of the line and I just assumed lunch would be chosen for us, we would eat what the school thought would be best for omega. That wasn't the case. There were choices.
"What will it be kid?" The hero named Lunch Rush asked me. An alpha hero asked me what I wanted. I froze. "Come on kid, what do you want?"
"I…" Words did not come.
"What do you like Todoroki? Lunch rush can make you anything your heart desires." Izuku nudged. Desires? I've never heard of that word either.
"I… I don't…"
"Well what's your favorite meal? Something that makes you happy?"
"Umm… cold soba? And well strawberry dessert but my sister-"
"He'll have that!" The other omega finished for me. No I shouldn't, my sister said I should limit my intake so I won't get fat. Curvey omegas are acceptable, but fat ones are considered scum.
"Alright, here you go kid." He handed me a tray of cold soba and a strawberry cream puff. Exactly what I wanted. Is this… a reward for something? Did I do something well?
Midoriya and the others got their meals and ushered me over to a table where the alphas Momo and Tsu were waiting. I had math class with them, both are very formidable intellectually. They wrapped their arms protectively around their respective omega and gave what I understand to be affection in between bites of their meal.
"How was math class Todoroki? You sure were getting a lot of questions right." Momo commented, playing with Koyka's earphone jack as the omega purred.
"Oh… I very much enjoyed it. I believe I like what they call a challenge."
"Put the rest of us to shame, that's for sure, kero." Tsu said before feeding Ochaco a dumpling.
"Are our alphas supposed to eat lunch with us? Should I go find Eijiro?" I asked Izuku next to me. My friend looked, if I had to guess, panicked?
"Whatever you do, don't look in the Janitor's closet." Momo giggled more to Koyka than the rest of the table, who burst out laughing, spilling her soda.
"I'm sorry, I don't understand." I said bowing my head. Izuku picked my chin up and then held my hand. That was… comforting.
"Don't listen to them. It's okay, not all alphas like to spend time with their omegas."
"Yeah, they'd rather spend time with each other." Ochaco jested. This must be some sort of inside joke I didn't understand.
"They're only required to spend an hour a day with us Sho, a little more on the weekend."
"And what purpose does that serve exactly?"
"Well… usually for those who aren't bonded, it's really just to have sex. Let the alphas blow off some steam." I looked at Koyka in confusion. "You know… pop a knot so they aren't all stressed out." Pop a knot?
"You mean… allow them the opportunity to breed us?"
Momo frowned. "I mean… some of us alphas see it that way, sure. But it's just, you know, time spent with one another. So you can tend to the alpha's needs." She explained.
"Is that what the companionship program requires? Being sexually available? Tending to the needs of your alpha?"
Izuku rubbed my thigh. "It's teaching us to be good omega. To learn how to follow an alphas command. You know, submit." Oh… I should have no problem with that. If I am to follow Eijiro's lead, to please him. That is what I have trained my whole life for. Being able to please an alpha.
"Right, if an alpha commands us to present we should. We should spread our legs for them, take what's given. Then hold their seed within us, praying for conception." I stated, repeating the words my father had drilled into me.
Koyka choked, coughing and sputtering. Ochaco visibly shuttered as Izuku gripped my thigh tightly. "I mean… I suppose… if that's what your alpha wanted then sure. I guess that is what you would do…" Momo said reluctantly.
"So sex?"
Tsu went back to her meal, licking her lips. "With male alphas… usually."
"Male alphas are less evolved." Jiro added. I wasn't sure what that meant. "Female alphas are a lot more sane. Allow us more freedom to pup when we want to. Most male alphas are just knotheads." Is… Kirishima a knothead?
"Will… will it hurt?" I reluctantly asked. I have asked my sister Fuyumi that a few times, but she won't give me a straight answer and always dodges the question. I asked my father once, he simply replied that I will take what is given and never show discomfort. Alphas wouldn't like that. They don't like crying omega, omega who complain of pain are weak and not worth breeding.
The table each looked at one another as if trying to make some nonverbal kind of game plan. What did that mean? Did I say something wrong? Momo reached across the table and took my hand. "It can be. I won't lie to you Shoto. Alpha anatomy has evolved to be quite large, and omega evolution simply has not fully evolved to accommodate it."
"That and alphas rather enjoy a tight squeeze, kero." Tsu said, causing Ochaco to chuckle.
"Isn't that right Futa?" Jiro jested into her female alpha. Momo blushed hard at that.
"But it gets easier, the more you do it, and the more prepared you are. Kirishima… if he wanted that… might prepare you properly before just… diving in." Might?
"But I really doubt Eijiro would ask that of you."
"Why wouldn't you ask that of me? Isn't that an omega's worth?"
"I mean, you should probably do what the alpha asks… Try to anticipate his needs. Kacchan likes it when I clean his room, he doesn't like clutter, if I clean his room before he gets to it… he's generally less growly towards me." Izuku said. Was he… trying to change the subject?
"Momo likes me to feed her snacks and play with her hair." Koyka said with a blush, gazing at her alpha.
"On the weekends Ochaco gives me facials and we cuddle a lot." Tsu offers.
"You just need to… figure out what Kirishima may want from you. Be that." Be that… whatever that is.
I took a bite of my soba. "I will try."
Kirishima's P.O.V.
"Okay then you collect like terms, divide… then you get the answer. Kirishima? Hey are you there? Are you even listening?"
"Dude I'm never gonna understand algebra, this shits too hard."
"We're literally still on the easy problems. Come on E, focus."
"I can't, can we like, take a break? I could suck your dick." Katsuki gave me his classic glare. He really wasn't having it today. I get it… it's been a stressful kind of day. Both of our companions decided to join our math class. That makes for a lot of problems in his head. I'm mostly concerned that we're gonna be pressured to show them affection. You know, walk them to and from class or something. I can do that. It's not a problem, but for Bakugo it probably is.
"We can take a break, but no reward until after we're done here."
"Yeah, okay." I said climbing into Bakugo's bed. He followed me and let me be the big spoon. "So are we gonna talk about the big elephant in the room? You didn't have to sign their permission slip, you know."
"If Deku wants to do this I ain't gonna stop him. It's just annoying that they have to be in our same classes."
"It's just two."
"Two, ten. It's more time with Deku that I don't want to spend. Maybe the administration will count it as bonding time."
"I highly doubt that."
"Yeah, me too." He fiddled with his thumbs, so I decided to interlace our fingers. "You gonna tell him about us?" That was a loaded question. My one interaction with my companion was… not particularly fruitful. He doesn't speak. I mean, not to me at least. He was so quiet, only gives yes or no answers, and looks down all the time, bowing his head to me. He's been trained. Trained for some king or something. I want to have a conversation with him, some kind of friendship. That doesn't really seem like it's gonna happen. I'm not sure if he even really has a personality at all. Like it's been beat out of him or something.
"Eventually maybe… or maybe not. You know… I'm not sure he'll care, I'm not sure he's built like that."
"Like what?" Katsuki asked, putting his lips to my hand.
"Like Deku… you know… needy. Wanting all your love and affection all the time."
"You mean a typical omega?"
"He's different." Bakugo gave me a weird look as there was a knock on the door. We quickly got out of our position as my boyfriend told whoever was at the door to come in.
"Oh Kirishima, you're here too. Good, I brought Todoroki with me hoping you might be around."
"Scram, we're still not done with homework yet."
"Math homework? We could all do it together."
"No."
"Bakugo it's okay. Bonding time is important, we'll see you in an hour or so." I calmed.
"Yeah, whatever." I picked up my bag and took Todoroki to my room right next door. I sat down at my desk, and he just looked down, hands crossed over themselves, waiting for me to give him a command or something. I'm sorry but… I'm just not that kind of alpha.
"Did you ummm… finish the math homework?"
"Yes, Midoriya and I worked on it while you were in hero training." That's the most he's said to me since we met. Math sorta seems like his thing. He perks up around it.
"Oh…cool."
"Do you need some help with it?"
"Yes! So much."
"Sure." He leaned over me and started writing down a few things. His penmanship is perfect. A lot of omega can barely read or know the alphabet. He seems really smart.
"How'd uh… how'd you get into algebra? If you don't mind me asking." It's a hard class and there are like prerequisites and stuff.
"I… have three older siblings. An alpha and two beta. All went to school. My father left me alone often and there wasn't much to do but study their old books."
"You taught yourself?" He nodded. "That's so cool!"
"I like to learn."
"Yeah, I would too if I was any good at it." I chuckled. He smiled and together we somehow managed to get through the problems. "What else did you learn today?" I asked, just trying to make some small talk.
"I learned about the companion program some more."
"Oh?"
"You're supposed to have sex, but not tell anyone about it. The school doesn't support it, but they do support it. It's so strange."
"Oh." What the hell did they tell him about the companion program?
"Do you want to have sex?" My brain turned off for a minute.
"I erm…" He looked me in the eyes then looked down again before… unbuttoning his shirt. Oh no. No, no, no no no! "Wait." He took his shirt off fully exposing his chest to me. It was perfect for a male omega. Perfect skin, perfectly pink nipples. He was in shape, strong but a little lithe, not terribly curvy but beautiful all the same. He was so perfect it was like he was glowing. Oh no.
"Todoroki, I'm gay."
"Yes. Anatomically we are both male. We both have a penis, although mine is likely considerably smaller than yours. But I also have a womb. One that you may want to put children in. If that's what you wanted, I don't think I can object."
"No, I mean I'm like… gay… gay. I like alphas."
He gave me a confused look. "I don't understand."
"I'm attracted to other alphas. I… want to have sex with alphas, I mean preferably male ones too. Do you get it now?"
"No. Alpha and omega are meant to be together. Am I not pleasing to you?" He pulled his skirt down, getting fully naked in front of me. Wow, that is… a cute little cock. Fuck he's about to present!
"Todoroki, please… put your clothes back on." I said, picking up his shirt and handing it back to him.
"I don't understand." Wow that look of confusion is… well kinda hot, and… sad. He has no idea why I'm rejecting him. Why I'm not letting him fulfill whatever backwards purpose he thinks he's supposed to do.
"With me… we don't have to have sex. I don't want that. Not with… you." Shit, that came out all wrong!
He put his hand to his scar, still naked before me. "I apologize for my disfigurement, I can cover it or… I don't have to face you while you impregnate me. My entrance is still tight and wet, I am very fertile so you won't have to knot me multiple times if I disgust you for a pregnancy to take. You may take my virginity if you wish. I promise I am a virgin. As my alpha you are entitled to it. I know I'm hideous, but my genetics are intact, our pups would not have my same distortion, I can still be bred properly." I almost choked on my shock.
"No that's not it at all!"
At that moment Bakugo and Midoriya walked in the room. "Holy hell."
"It's not what it looks like!" I screamed! Could this be any worse?
"This is your version of letting him down easy?"
"We'll talk about it, I'm sorry Kacchan!" Izuku said, running into the room and helping Shoto put his clothes back on.
"I don't understand." Todoroki repeated again. As soon as everyone was fully clothed, the omega scrambled out of the room, the shorter one apologizing profusely as they left, my companion still deeply confused. Katsuki ran his hand through his hair and paced around the room.
"Kid has a body, I'll give him that."
"He thought I didn't like him because of his scar." The sadness was not lost on my booyfriend. That the only thing he's good for is breeding. Oh god that's so wrong. I put my hand to my stomach, feeling like I may puke.
"Yeah well, he's different, you're different. It's a match made in hell." Bakugo says as he helps me to the bed. I ran my hands through my hair as he rubbed my back.
"How am I gonna fix this?"
"You'll figure it out."
"You're not mad?"
"Yeah, like you'd ever cheat on me. But just for good measure, why don't you give me that blow job you promised earlier?"
I felt myself rolling my eyes, then smiling. "Yeah, okay."
