A/N A Date with Destiny, er, Missy.

Still waiting for the email issue to be fixed.

.

I took a step back and looked at the sheer word count of this story.

I think I have a problem. This story hasn't even been up for six months.

.

Gogmazios: You're welcome.

SonicTundra: Kitsu x Missy being Kissy works so well!

GiantPsychoGecko: Where's the star come in?

Kaykaykaykayan: I can imagine her just shouting "Objection!" For no reason while wearing it! XP

DancingLeaf: That sounds like it should be canon.

You're welcome.

Draco0905: Um, I'm sorry? And I hope you get better.

Alfamega20000: That's partially my fault. I wrote myself into a corner with that. Her shard stays quiet when around other active shards. And she now lives with four individuals with active shards. And is dating one.

RadChaos897: I'm trying to tone it down a bit. The story was becoming too focused on them. When it's supposed to be about Kitsu's interactions with everyone. But, good news! This chapter is Kitsu and Missy's date!

I personally find the way Wildbow wrote Jaime's death to be unnecessarily cruel. Especially considering he just gave us her and Ethan's backstory right before killing her off. I mean, I get it. But still.

I just realized both the Pelham kids are gunning after Case 53's! I didn't even realize I did that! And Sarah already knows about Crystal's attraction to Firebreather. She may not know just how down bad her daughter is. But Crystal is not good at hiding her intentions. Firebrether just doesn't see it because he's spent the three years in the desert with almost no social interaction, and as such his social skills are more than a little rusty.

Rachel is still in custody. Kitsu just provided the foundation to build a defense case for her. A sociopathy diagnosis is damning in court. By putting that into question, it builds a case to present her as "Misunderstood and mistreated youth doing what she had to because she was never taught better." Rather than. "Violent sociopath with a tendency towards maiming, uncaring of the law and consequences."

Also, mini-Carol Kitsu is just adorable to picture.

A potato: She can reverse it. Just not easily.

The reason she keeps reverting is because her Corona Gemma is formed in such a way that it is the cause of her mutation. As is with all Case 53's. Any permanent change requires adjusting that. And doing it the wrong way can have horrible defects and unforeseen consequences. Her shard can revert it. But it's a case of something being done, is not as easily undone. It required roughly seven hours of constant work on [Conduit]'s part. And reversing it would take even longer. And the process of altering her Corona Gemma leaves her unconscious. So it's not something to be done lightly.

As for changing her other organs to produce the hormones instead? [Conduit] only has a very basic understanding of biology. They wouldn't know how to do that.

.

I think I killed T4ndoris with all the Kitsu x Missy fluff.

Oops?

Vergil "Static Shock" Hawkins POV

.

"The fuck's up with her?" Soph asks, pointing to Vista.

Who's been running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Going from the mirror, to the chair, to the couch, to a bundle of flowers she has on the counter.

"She's got a date in an hour or two." I say as I change the channel.

"Pfft! You're telling me the baby has a date?" Sophia laughs.

'Should I tell her?' I think idly.

"Yep, at about six." I say simply.

"Doesn't she have patrol at six?" Sophia asks.

"Yep." I say and settle on SpongeBob, there ain't nothin else on.

"How's that work? She call off?" She asks as she plops onto the couch.

"Nope." I answer. "Her date's a fellow cape."

"And she just, gets to?" Sophia asks incredulously.

"Yeah, it's this thing Pigot does." I say. "She wants people to see us as relatable so things like this are allowed."

This would never fly in Dakota city. Director Smith is more concerned with keeping all the parahumans on the side of the law.

It's how Stretch ended up with the PRT on probationary employment, three more years and he's cleared of his charges. He'll still have a record, but he'll be a free man. He's said he plans on sticking with the PRT while trying to advance his music career anyway.

It's also how Maureen got put in protective services rather than the Birdcage.

"So because she's sucking face with another cape, she gets to do shit like go to the movies while on patrol?" Sophia says. "That's bullshit!"

"Pigot marks it down as a public relations event." I tell her. "And 'sides, so long as we cover the required ground during our patrol we can do whatever."

I've hit up the arcade more than a few times with Dennis while in costume.

"That's retarded." She says and crosses her arms.

'Yeah, I ain't tell'n her.' I resolve to myself.

She can figure out Missy is dating Kitsu on her own.

"It is what it is." I say zoning her out.

"Don't give me that pacifistic bullshit!" She says.

"Okay." I say nonchalantly. Ignoring her attempts at starting a fight.

"Now you're ignoring me." She accuses.

"Trying to." I say as I get up and head to the cabinets to get a snack. Dodging around the green clad girl.

"Fuck you!" Sophia shouts as she steals the remote.

Jokes on her. It doesn't have batteries. I took'em out.

Kitsu POV

.

"What to wear? What to wear?" I say as I go through my closet.

"Why am I here?" Amy asks from my bed.

"Because Dad's not back with Mom and I need a female's opinion." I say.

"Why not Vicky?" Amy suggests. "She's got a better fashion sense than me, and she has experience with dating."

"Someone who's opinion I value." I clarify from my closet.

"Neptunia dress? No, she's seen me in this before." I mutter.

"So?" Amy asks.

"It needs to be special!" I defend. "It has to be something new that fits the occasion."

"So, what about the white dress?" Amy suggests.

My Lily dress?

"It's the movies, not a picnic." I tell her.

She throws her arms up in exasperation as she rolls her eyes.

"Just go in your cape outfit." Amy says. "She'll be going in hers, and we both know for a fact she enjoys seeing you in it."

That brings a blush to my face. It's no secret that Missy is a legs and ass girl. And a tail girl. But I don't need to be reminded!

"No!" I say in response. "It needs to be special! She doesn't get a choice in what she can wear. I do. Therefore it's up to me to pick out something memorable."

"I give up." Amy says as she stands from my bed. "I'll be in my room if you need me."

"Coward!" I shout as she leaves my room. "Deserter!"

"You'll be fine!" She says as she leaves.

I just go back to my wardrobe.

'Dawn? No, Gloria? No! Rosa? No, I had that one for my date with Dennis and she saw me in that already.' I anguish. 'Arezu? Maybe in the fall, not spring. What time is it?"

Running around to my nightstand. I grab my phone and check the time.

5:20

I have less than an hour!

"Crap!" I curse.

'Mallow? No, maybe if it was to the botanical gardens. Leaf? No, just doesn't fit. The third Serena outfit? The journeys one?'

"That could work." I say appreciatively.

.

.

-6pm-

.

.

"You're fine." Mom says as I keep fidgeting with the hem of my skirt.

"I know that!" I whine.

"Then why do you-"

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*

"She's here!" I say frantically.

"Well at least she's on time." Mom says. "Mark! Are you ready!?"

"Been ready for the last hour!" Dad says from the kitchen.

"Well she's here!"

"I'm coming!"

Meanwhile I go to the door and open it.

I'm greeted by Missy in her Vista costume. And Vergil in the background talking to Chris.

Missy has a bouquet of flowers in various colors and a not so subtle blush on her face.

"Oh um. Hi, Kitsu." She stutters out. "I uh, you look great!"

"Thanks, you, look amazing as you usually do." I numbly get out as I brush a strand of hair out of my face.

"These are for you!" She says and shoves the bouquet into my arms.

"Fifty bucks." I hear Vergil say.

"Yeah I know." Chris groans.

Ignoring them in favor of my blushing girlfriend.

"So, um. Wanna go?" Missy asks.

"Sure!" I say excitedly and rush to my room to put the flowers away. Grabbing a red one and putting it in my hair just because. I run back and grab onto Missy's arm. "After you!"

"You girls want a ride or are we walking with Vista's power?" Dad asks as he comes up to us. "And look this way real quick."

Turning to him I see him pull out his phone and snap a picture. Dad opted to wear jeans and a red flannel shirt for this.

"Um, we can just use my power." Missy answers. "Static Shock and Kid Win still need to patrol with me in the same area."

"Then how'd you get this date approved?" Dad asks.

"Director Pigot, really wants us to be seen as relatable. So doing normal things like, taking my adorable girlfriend to the movies is more than okay with her." Missy answers. "So long as we let her know ahead of time."

"Alright then." Dad says. "Let's not delay any further. The movies are probably already packed full."

"You girls stay safe!" Mom says. "Try not to get run over or anything."

"One time." Missy mumbles.

"I'll keep an eye on them. Don't worry." Dad says as we walk out the door.

We all walk towards Chris and Vergil. Who I STILL don't have the autograph of!

I have almost a hundred autographs. Including Taylor Hebert's from when she got mine at the signing.

AND I STILL DON'T HAVE HIS!

Can't ask him now. I'm on a date!

"We ready?" Vergil asks.

"Yeah." Missy says before the roof of a building in the distance suddenly stretches to meet us next to the sidewalk.

We all wordlessly step on the roof as it bends back into place. Without us moving, somehow.

Missy's power is trippy.

We then step onto the roof of the movie theater with Vergil unfolding his saucer and Chris pulls out two Halo, Covenant pistol things that flip and fold themselves out and connect to be his hover board.

"Ah that's so cool!" I say softly in awe.

"Thanks!" He says before following Vergil to patrol the area. "See ya guys later!"

"Have fun!" Vergil says right after. "And if you watch the Alice in Wonderland movie, don't spoil it for me!" He says as they fly off.

"Kay!" I wave with one arm. My other still holding onto Missy's.

"So, how're we getting down?" Dad asks.

"I can float us down on a saucer." I suggest.

"I was just going to move us to the side alley." Missy says.

"That works too." I say.

We walk to the edge of the roof. And it soon becomes the concrete of the alley. I step off with Missy.

"Huh, never thought I'd get to step off the roof of a building and not get hurt." Dad says.

"Do you think about stepping off roofs often?" I ask in concern.

"What? No!" Dad says with a small laugh. "I may be clinically depressed, but I'm not that depressed!" He says.

I glare at him for a bit before turning to walk out the alley with my Missy in tow.

We wordlessly walk out into the street with the other people. Many of which recognizing us immediately and start taking pictures.

"So, what movie did you want to watch?" Missy asks as we get in line behind like, fifteen people.

And most everyone is staring and pointing towards us. I'm used to it.

"I don't know." I say and look to the titles up top.

(Alice In Wonderland)

(Percy Jackson And The Lightning Thief)

(How To Train Your Dragon)

(Clash Of Titans)

And I'm remembering the plots to most of them. Meaning I'd seen them before, well, you get the idea.

"Everything okay?" Missy asks.

"Yeah, just. My thinker power literally just spoiled every movie on the board." I say sadly.

"Really?" Dad asks. "I thought it only did that with people."

"Nope!" I say with a shake of my head. "This is what I meant by inconsistent and unreliable. I have no way of controlling it."

"Oh, well is the Percy Jackson movie good?" Missy asks in a hopeful tone.

"Only if you never read the book and ignore a few glaring plot holes." I answer.

"Oh, that bad?" She asks sounding more than a little disappointed.

"The author of the books is about to disavow the movie." I tell her

"How do you know that?" Dad asks.

"I just remembered him screaming and ranting about it to someone where he said he was about to." I lie.

Can't really say I have meta knowledge. Well, kinda. I remember that I have seen these movies. But I don't remember ever watching them. I know the plot, the characters, everything. But any actual, memory, of seeing the movie is just, not there.

If I ever find the version of me that did the CYOA, I'll kick their ass for taking the memory drawback.

"Is it really that bad?" Missy asks in a desperate tone.

"They aged up Percy and for some reason two of the female characters got combined into one, Annabeth. And the plot revolves around them going to get these orbs so that they can escape the underworld when they get there." I say. "Also they state there's a law that gods can't interact with their half blood kids."

"What?!" Missy suddenly shouts. "But the fact that some gods parent their kids and some don't is part of the conflict of the later books!"

"Thanks for spoiling it jackass!" Rando number one yells.

"It sucks!" I shout to the guy who just yelled that. "I'm saving you! Go watch the dragon movie!"

We're about to get to the ticket booth now.

"You still never said what you wanted to watch." Dad says.

"Oh!" I realize. "Um, How To Train Your Dragon. It's, not really anything like the books but it's still very good."

After a bit we're in front of the booth with a lady in a red vest and practiced smile.

"How may I help you today?" She asks.

"One adult, two children for How To Tame Your Dragon." Dad says as he steps in front of us.

"Train." I correct him.

"What she said." He says and pulls out his wallet.

Crystal "Laserdream" Pelham POV

.

"So, how do you like it?" I ask eagerly.

"It's a little tight." Firebreather says as he shrugs his shoulders, getting a feel for the shirt and jacket.

"That's good!" I say. "Better than it being too loose. You can break it in rather than trying to fill it out."

He fills it out perfectly. And the jacket has Velcro slits for his wings to spring out. In case he needs to fly for some reason. Now if only I can get him in a pair of skinny jeans.

"If you say so." He says unsurely. "So, what movie are we seeing?" He asks.

"Well, I was thinking something like How To Train Your Dragon." I say jokingly.

"Sure!" He says. "I've seen a few posters of it, and it looks cool enough."

"Wait seriously?" I ask.

"Yeah, why?" He asks with a raised brow. "Is there something wrong with it?"

"No!" I say quickly. "I was just making a joke when I suggested it! With the whole, y'know." I say gesturing to his, everything.

I'm quickly making an idiot of myself.

'Argh! Why can't you be like other guys and just fall in love with me after a compliment or something!' I rage internally. 'Whoa! Where the hell did that come from?'

"Well, are you ready to go?" I ask.

"Yeah, don't really have much else to grab." He says with a small smile.

"Alright!" I say and clap my hands excitedly. "Let's go!"

I take his hand and lead him out of my room and down the stairs.

"Heading out!" I shout. "Me and Fire are going to the movies so my phone will be off!"

"Keep the emergency function on!" Dad yells.

The emergency function is an app meant for capes. It keeps the phones call function on for select numbers you assign.

"Kay!"

I pull Fire out the house stumbling. He is, not me. He's not used to shoes. I turn around and lock the door before turning back to Fire, who's idly bouncing on his heels, twisting and stretching his ankles to test out the shoes.

"Right!" I say and jump at him. "Catch me!"

"Wha-woah!" He exclaims, just managing to do so. "What was that for?!"

"We gotta test out the new clothes!" I say. "Gotta make sure they can handle the stress of cape work and catching falling damsels is part of that!"

"What would you have done if I didn't catch you?" He asks, slightly miffed at the stunt I just pulled.

In response I just float a bit in the air.

"Oh." He says simply. "Well a little warning next time?"

"Sure, now c'mon! Fly!" I say excitedly. "We still need to stress test your shirt and jacket!"

"Kay." He says and goes to put me down, but I stay on. "Um. Crystal?"

"Yes?" I ask and flutter my eyes at him.

I have three people I can go to for dating advice. Mom, Vicky, and Sabah. Seeing as Firebreather isn't a girl and Mom would never let me hear the end of it. I'm taking Vicky's advice of 'Just go for it.'

"Can you let go? It's easier for me to fly if I start from higher up, get a good glide in first." He says.

"Kay?" I question.

"And the only nearby structure is your house, I need to jump. You get motion sick." He explains.

"Oh, right." I say, blushing in embarrassment.

'At least he thought of me!' I console myself as I disentangle from him.

He takes a squat and jumps up onto the roof in short order.

"Fwahh!"

*Crash*

Only to immediately lose his footing and slide off the angled roof. Taking a few shingles with him as he lands in a bush.

"Are you okay?!" I call out. "Do I need to call Amy?!"

"I hate shoes!" He just yells from one of the bushes.

"Yeah, that's fair." I sigh out.

That's fine though. He has cool feet anyway. Hate for them to be always covered up.

.

.

Turns out me being the fastest flier, not including Purity, is still accurate. Fire can fly about as fast as Vicky or Eric.

"Come on slowpoke!" I call back to him.

"I'm normally a lot faster than this!" He says as he surges forward, straining to catch up with me. "It's all these air currents flowing between the buildings! They're screwing with me!"

"Excuses!" I call back. "You just don't want to admit to being beat by a girl!"

"Oh yeah?! Fly up past the roofs!" He calls. "I'll show you!"

I roll my eyes and decide to indulge him.

"Alright you big baby!" I say and angle up, hard turns leave me queasy.

We make it past the skyscrapers and he immediately catches up to me.

"Wait what?!" I call out.

"I told you!" He says, continuing to go faster as he starts to overtake me. "The wind from the buildings was messing with me! I had to keep readjusting and constantly had currents pushing against me!"

I speed up to catch him. He just smirks at me and with a powerful flap of his wings, he shoots past.

"Come on slowpoke!" He calls back.

I literally cannot fly faster. My speed is capped out. And I'm pretty sure we just passed the movie theater.

"Fire!" I call to him. "Slow down!" I call.

Also, my clothes are not meant for this. I'm in a light blue flounce sleeve blouse with white skinny jeans.

"What's the matter?!" He calls back with a smile. "Can't keep up?!"

"We passed the movie theater!" I yell to him.

We really need headsets or bluetooth or something for when we're flying.

He abruptly stops and I nearly crash into him.

"Oh." He says as he hovers around. "Sorry."

"It's fine." I say. "Just follow me."

I turn around and glide back to the theater. Getting an idea, I glance back to see where he's looking.

Straight ahead. He's got a hot girl in front of him, ass up in the direction we're gliding. And he's not looking! I don't know if I should be grateful he's not a perv, or insulted.

'Notice me!' I internally rage.

.

.

Firebreather POV

.

'Don't stare. Don't stare.' I keep telling myself. 'She's been nothing but nice and accommodating. Don't piss her off by staring at her ass.'

.

.

Kitsu POV

.

'Huh?' I think at the odd sound as we step through the doors. It sounds like wings flapping. But larger.

I discard focusing on it in favor of heading to the counter with all the snacks.

"Alright, one snack aside from popcorn." Dad says. "These things are overpriced as all hell."

"Well of course they are." I say. "They have to be for the theater to make a profit."

"What do you mean?" Missy asks.

"For the first few weeks a theater shows a new movie, almost all of that money goes to the studio it's licensed from." I explain. "It's only after the third or fourth week that the tickets start making money for the theater. So they upcharge on the food to help them break even in the first week, and make a profit the rest of the time."

"Your thinker power tell you that?" Dad asks.

"Nope!" I say cheerfully as we reach the cashier. "Google did!"

"Holy crap!" The guy says with a smile. "My girlfriend loves you two! Can I get a picture?" He asks.

At least he's not kicking me out and making remarks about me being a pet. Oddly enough I haven't gotten a lot of those remarks lately. It feels like not too long ago that was all I got. Aside from a few people who would fawn over my appearance.

And the occasional pedophile trying to snatch me up. Seriously, this world could use a parahuman Chris Hansen. He could use a name like, I got nothing. It'd still be cool though!

"I don't mind if you don't." I tell Missy as I keep clung to her arm.

She has a practiced smile on. Similar to the lady in the ticket booth. The kind you see on people that are required to smile. The motion is there but there's no joy behind the eyes.

'She hates the attention our relationship attracts.' I realize.

"I'm alright with it." She says evenly.

"Thank you!" He says as he pulls out his phone and snaps a picture of us.

I of course kiss my girlfriends cheek to get a more genuine smile out of her. I may enjoy the attention, but she clearly doesn't. Might as well make it something she doesn't hate.

"Great!" He says as he puts his phone away. "What can I get you? On the house."

"One of everything!" I say excitedly with zero hesitation.

"I, can't do that." He says awkwardly. "How about two things? And free drinks."

"But you said." I start as I give him puppy dog eyes.

"Knock it off sweetie." Dad says. "A pack of Twizzlers and a large popcorn. Along with three large drinks."

"Coming right up!" He says as he opens the cabinet to grab the Twizzlers.

"Twizzlers are your favorite." I accuse as I turn to look at him.

"Free is free." He says with that damnable smirk Mom always complains about. "Besides, ya snooze ya lose."

"Oh, you sneak!" I say in response to the growing irritation in me.

"You'll still get your snack." He says. "Don't worry. Now tell the guy what you want."

"Mountain Dew!" I say.

"Root beer for her." Dad says. "You do not need all that sugar and caffeine, your energetic enough as is."

"Jerk." I mutter under my breath.

"Cherry Pepsi." Missy says.

"Fanta orange for me." Dad says.

The guy nods his head and gets to work fixing our order.

"Uncle Mark?" I hear behind us.

Turning around, I see Crystal and Firebreather standing a few spots down in the line. And holy crap! She's dressed up! Wearing white skinny jeans, a light blue top with a scoop neck collar and flowy arms. A thin gold necklace with small white flowers along it, her hair is in a meticulous side swept braid as well.

And I can guarantee she's wearing a push up bra.

Firebreather is wearing his standard jeans, though they're now devoid of any dust or grime. A tight green tee, hoodless red jacket, and red sneakers.

"Crystal?" Dad says, turning to them. "Come on over! We kept your spot for you!"

"You sneaky man." I say as I squint at him. Then give a small nod. "I approve."

He rolls his eyes with a smirk as they make their way over.

"Vista, Kitsu? What're you doing here?" She asks as her and Firebreather join up with us.

"Date!" I say as I pull Missy closer to me. Leaning up, and slightly tugging her down, to nuzzle her cheek.

"Eep!" She squeaks at the sudden PDA.

"Chaperone." Dad says.

"What about you?" I ask with a teasing smile. "Did the dragon capture his princess?"

Crystal's face blooms in a massive blush as a small smile spreads across her face. While Firebreather cocks an eyebrow in confusion. He still doesn't get that people associate his looks as being draconic.

I'm not going to be the one to tell him. His confusion anytime someone brings it up is hilarious.

"Something like that." Crystal says in a low tone as she looks to the side.

"Crystal's just taking me to see a movie since I've never seen one." He says with a shrug.

'Is this how it felt to watch me with Missy?' I wonder. 'I mean, it only lasted a day, but still.'

"Which movie are you watching?" I ask.

"How To Train Your Dragon." He says with a smile.

Me and Missy turn to stare at Crystal. She just purses her lips as she doesn't meet our eyes.

"I suggested it as a joke." She says defensively.

"I thought you were being serious." Firebreather says as he looks to her.

"Here you guys go." The cashier says as he sets our order down. "Enjoy the movie."

"Well, that's our cue." Dad says as he grabs his Twizzlers and drink.

I let go of Missy's arm and grab my drink and the popcorn while Missy grabs her drink. I have to enhance my strength a bit to hold my drink in one arm while I keep hold of the popcorn in the other.

"Do you want me to hold your popcorn for you?" Dad asks.

"I'm good!" I say as we walk away from the line and Crystal with her date.

Though I'm pretty sure only one of them sees it as a date.

-Meanwhile, South America, Orinoco Basin-

.

.

Johnathan "Charlie-1" Espinosa POV

.

*Crick*

Swinging my gun to the direction, I hold in anticipation of an attack. My squad mates doing the same as we all face the direction of the sound. Some in the back looking up to check the trees, checking the above and keeping their guns from being pointed at their squad mates backs. While one man looks behind us to cover our six.

*Krzzt*

"Charlie one, this is Alpha squad, report in. Over." I hear the radio go off.

I bring a hand up to radio in and respond.

"This is Charlie one, Code Yellow, on guard, unknown sound from unknown distance. Maintaining aim and guard. Over."

"Copy that, report in when threat has passed. Out."

"Out." I confirm and bring my hand from the radio.

After a few seconds of nothing, I lower my gun and bring my fist up. Making the call to lower arms.

I click the radio again.

"Charlie one to Alpha. Code Green. False alarm. Over." I say.

"Copy. What is your current location? Over."

"Current location puts us roughly two klicks west of the main Orinoco river, twelve klicks south of the delta. Over." I answer.

"Copy, make rounds back to base. Rest up and head out at twenty three hundred hours. Out."

"Copy. Out." I say and click the radio off.

"Round up, we're heading back." I tell the squad.

"Copy." I hear from them.

*Russle*

Once again, we go through the motions of our guard check. Only this time, it's worse. The jungle is eerily quiet. No sounds of birds or skittering insects. Which is never a good sign.

*Snap* "SHIT!" *Crash*

In a blinding speed our rear guard is killed as a tree gets snapped and slams into him. Leaving him a crumpled, bloody mess on the forest floor. All of us moving to face the direction the tree fell.

Only to find nothing.

*Snap*

Swinging to the sound on our left we catch a glimpse of orange as whatever it was disappears.

"Hold fire!" I shout. "This may be our target! Fan out and flank!"

Doing so, the group of ten, formerly eleven, men fan around me in pairs, with one pair staying behind. Scouring the surroundings.

"Clear!" Charlie three calls.

"Clear!" Charlie five.

"Clear!" Charlie seven

"Sir, I think it fled." Charlie eight says next to me.

"Fuck!" I curse in frustration. "Round up! We're leaving now.

I think back on the task at hand and our current target. A Case 53 that's been roaming wild around the Orinoco basin.

We've been out here for a week. Ever since day two we've lost at least one person every day. The local tribes and people call him the fairy of the forest. And revere him as a guardian after a jaguar that had killed a little girl was found strung up dead in the center of the village the little girl belonged to. The only clue it was him being, and I quote, "His thunderous rage at the murder of an innocent little girl could be heard as it called cackles from the spirits of storms." Or some shit like that.

That and it was a muddy village, so his footprints were leading to and away from it.

It's not the only case of an avenged death perpetrated by the man either. He's become a guardian deity to some of the Warao people. So getting their help is a no go. They revere the jungle, and view him as its spirit made manifest.

.

.

? POV

.

I've been stalking the invaders for days. They mean nothing but harm to the kind ones. They carry shiny black tools of pain. Not unlike the others. The others came and demanded tribute. Those who didn't pay in trade, paid in blood.

I made sure they come here no more. No one will hurt the kind ones.

These ones are different, they wear odd clothes and are quieter than the others. They have not hurt the small ones, or the kind ones. But they carry the same tools of death and pain. The sound of a tree snapping, with the quick flash of lightning. They shoot out little beads that hurt as hard as the ants bite.

If they will not drop their tools, they will leave, if they will not leave, they will die.

I will protect the kind ones and the small ones. At all costs.

-Movie Theater-

.

.

Missy "Vista" Biron POV

.

I once again find myself unable to pay attention to the movie. The reason being? There are no open back seats in the theater.

So Kitsu opted to sit in my lap!

She is so warm! And soft. I know we cuddle every weekend, but I just can't get enough! She's leaned back, using me as a recliner of sorts as her tail rests to the side in Mr. Dallon's lap. She's holding the popcorn and is occasionally feeding me as well!

The only thing that could make this better is if we had the theater to ourselves.

"Hrm!"

Kitsu just hopped up and scooted to sit in my lap sideways! Resting her head against my shoulder as she munches on popcorn. I hold her tighter as I try to calm myself down. Of course I fail. And I feel myself heat up in excitement, then in embarrassment right after.

I'm in a packed theater for Christ's sake! This is both heaven, and hell.

.

.

-Boardwalk-

.

.

Vergil "Static Shock" Hawkins POV

.

Hovering over the city streets is actually rather calming. It's one of my favorite things, patrol that is. Doesn't hurt when it's a quiet night. Though things tend to be quiet this time of year. Until the start of summer break that is. Then shit hits the fan and crime skyrockets for a month. The beginning of each season is always the worst.

At least in Dakota it was.

"So, what's it like working with your cousin? You excited?" Chris asks as he 'skates' beside me.

"You clearly ain't met'r yet." I grumble.

"Yikes. That bad?" He asks. "Some sort of sibling rivalry or is she just, y'know, a bitch."

"Aye man, she's still family." I say as shoot him a glare. But yeah." I relent with a sigh. "The second one."

"Sorry to hear it man." Chris says empathetically as we take a turn to avoid the stoplights.

Not allowed to hover above those on patrol. Too distracting for the drivers, so we take to the alleyways.

"It's alright. No point denying the truth." I tell'em. "Sides, she'll be on our team soon enough."

"She's not going to Whetstone?" He asks. "Don't most, problematic, Wards get sent there first?"

We hook a right and continue our path down the road, we can't leave the boardwalk till Missy's done with her date. Considering we're supposed to be on patrol together.

"They do, but Daredevil offered to personally deal with her till he heads back to New York in the summer." I answer. "He's training her to be a espionage specialist like him."

"Shit. He is?" He exclaims in surprise. "What's his power? Are they similar or something?"

"Not at all." I say as we make our way back past the movie theater. "Parently he's got like three sixty degree vision or some such."

Chris is quiet for a bit after that. Likely thinking on the uses of such an ability. Chris is a lot like Rich when it comes down to it. Maybe I should introduce them. Who knows, they might come up with some cool gear. With Rich's specialty of compartmentalization, Chris's in modularity, and Armsmaster in miniaturization and efficiency?

I just got a headache.

-8pm, Movie end-

.

.

Kitsu POV

.

"That was a good movie." I say as I hop out of Missy's lap and stretch up. "Can't wait for the sequel."

"There's a sequel?" Missy asks. "How? The movie's only been out a month or so."

'Shit!' I think to myself at the slip of meta knowledge. 'Think!'

I enhance my perception to think faster and come up with a way out of this.

"It's a very good movie." I say. "It'll get a sequel. Even if I have to bankroll it."

"Your not bankrolling a studio just to get a sequel to a movie you like." Dad says with a roll of his eyes. Likely not believing me to be serious.

I'm not, I know it'll get a sequel. It's just a matter of surviving to get to that point.

"Well, it's time to head home kiddo." Dad says. "Vista, you good?"

I look to Missy, who still hasn't gotten up. A blush on her face.

"I uh, my legs fell asleep." She says lightly.

Oh, oops.

"I can carry you~" I tease.

"I'm good!" She says quickly, her blush intensifying.

'Aww~' I think to myself as put my hands on the arm rests and lean up to her.

"Is my Vista shy?" I tease.

"W-well, it's just there are people." She deflects, stuttering and fidgeting as she looks away. "And some are staring."

She gets so adorably shy when others are around! I love it!

"Let them stare." I say and lean forward to plant a kiss on her nose. "All they get to see is how much I love my Vista."

"I, I, I, you." She stutters as she brings her hands up to cover her blushing face. Squealing in embarrassment.

"Alright, come one kiddo." Dad says as he picks me up. "Anymore and I'm sure she'll melt."

"But she's so cute like this!" I protest.

"Yeah, but if you keep this up we'll be here for the start of the next movie." He says as he sets me down on the other side of him, facing the exit to the aisle. "Come on. We promised Carol we'd be back by nine."

"Fine!" I relent. "Vista, are you coming?" I ask, looking back to the still blushing girl.

"Huh?!" She squeaks. "Um, yeah!"

She hops up on slightly stiff legs. And hobbles over to follow us as she regains the feeling in her legs.

We make our way out and find Crystal and Firebreather in the lobby. Crystal has an, odd, smile. And Firebreather, looks the usual. Excitedly chatting about the movie he just saw.

I focus in to hear what they're saying.

"I think if I practice I could totally make a stream of plasma." He says as he tosses his empty cup in the trash can.

"Well~" Crystal says. "I'm more than happy to help you out with that. How about tomorrow? I can meet you in the woods?" She suggests, crossing her arms behind her back and puffing out her chest.

"Sure!" He says excitedly. "Just fly above the woods at noon and I'll find you."

'Oh.' I realize with a blush.

"Well, before that. Why don't you fly me home?" She asks as she walks forward and grabs his arm, pressing herself into him. All but shoving her boobs into his arm.

"Um sure, I guess." He says suddenly confused.

'She's practically throwing herself at you!' I scream in my head. 'Take a hint! I've spotted five!'

I stop focusing on Ms. Obvious and Mr. Oblivious before I rage quit on life. Prefering to just live in the moment as I turn around and circle behind Dad to walk next to Missy. Doing the same arm body press thing Crystal is doing.

"Eep!" Missy squeaks.

Only I get the proper reaction out of my paramour. Ha! Point for me in this non existent love game rivalry!

I need to find an actual hobby.

"Something the matter?" I ask as I nuzzle Missy's shoulder.

"No!" She says with a voice crack.

And I think I found it. Embarrassing Missy.

Not long after we find ourselves in front of our house, with the roof of a random building in front of our door.

Her power is weird. And scary.

"Alright, well kiddo. Say goodnight." Dad says as we reach the door.

I have a better idea.

.

.

Missy "Vista" Biron POV

.

"I had fun tonight." I say softly as I prepare to leave.

"Me too." She says as she looks down with a shy smile and a blush. Twisting her foot into the concrete, hands behind her back as her ears splay back and her tail twitches awkwardly.

"Are you okay?" I ask nervously.

"Um, yeah, it's just. Well." She says slowly. Not meeting my eyes.

'I didn't do anything wrong did I?' I think anxiously. 'Oh god, she can manipulate biology! She was touching me almost all night! Did she see, oh god does she think I'm some sort of perv for getting excited when she was in my lap and feeding me?! Is she going to break up with me for being a gross pervert!?'

My thoughts all come to a roaring and screeching halt as she steps forward and leans up to kiss me.

Actually kiss me! On the lips! Mine! Hers! Soft!

It ends after not even a second and she's gone. Rushing to the door in a burst of speed, opening it and slamming it shut behind her. Leaving me to mentally restart on the porch.

"You okay?" Mr. Dallon asks.

Oh yeah, he's here too.

"Yeah!" My voice cracks.

He chuckles and pats me on the shoulder.

"Well, you have teammates to get back to and the roof you warped is slowly starting to reel back." He says as I register the whirlwind of emotions going on in me.

"Huh?" Is my intelligent response.

Turning around I see the roof slowly recede. Squishing it back in front of me, I step on it and let it go back. I then squish space again and walk forward to the roof of the movie theater.

"That was my first kiss." I say out loud. "She kissed me."

My chest blooms in a fluttering heat as I start giggling at the memory. Already getting lost in my thoughts as I remember how nervous and shy she was!

'She was so adorable about it!' I think as I squeal out loud. 'The way she was blushing and looking at the ground! Aaah!'

I want to go back and kiss her back! Oh if only I had some kind of warning or sign! I would've held her and savored the moment!

I'm still reminiscing on the very recent and very brief memory when Vergil and Chris come to collect me to finish our patrol.

"Someone looks like they had fun." Chris teases as he comes to a stop and collapses his hover board back into pulse pistols.

"Yeah~" I absentmindedly respond.

-Monday, May 3rd, Undersiders Hideout-

.

.

Brian "Grue" Laborn POV

.

"You're sure this'll work out?" I ask Lisa.

"About, eighty five percent sure." She answers as she steps away from the newly arrived thief for hire. Leaving him to chat with Reiko and Alec at the couch.

"What's the boss gotta say about all this?" I ask.

"He's willing to foot the bill for Rachel's rescue, but not to keep him on board." She answers. "Gambit doesn't do long term contracts unless there's a major payout, and he requires a goal to complete. He's strictly freelance and doesn't do retention."

"That's-" I start.

"Not what you were asking?" She finishes for me as she sits at the counter, flashing me her signature vulpine grin. "I know, but it's all I can give you."

She's doing that thing were she shows she's the smartest in the room. And wants those around her to know it.

Annoying, but not worth starting a fight over.

"Hey now, not ta rush ahead but, when are we going for this?" Gambit asks.

"The transport will happen in two days, afternoon. Along the standard route to the courthouse." Lisa answers.

"Who can we expect to encounter?" I ask, crossing my arms.

"Assault and Battery won't be there, neither will the Wards." Lisa answers. "They won't put them in a position where there's an increased chance of facing a cape. And since Vista will be on patrol that day, we can rule out Kitsu being there."

"Chagren, What's the little fox gotta do with this?" Gambit asks.

"The fox is dating Vista." Alec answers. "Damn near anytime Vista is on patrol Kitsu is there as well.

"How sure are you that Kitsu won't be there?" I ask, facing off against the Endstopper is not on my bucket list. While I'm sure my darkness could disorientate her, she can easily speed out of range and do what she did in Eagleton and just dice the area until I'm mincemeat.

"I, can't tell where she will be. I keep getting nonsense." Lisa says. "But I know Vista will want Kitsu to be with her. And Vista won't be near the transport."

"Um, what do you mean, nonsense?" Reiko asks.

"Well, I'm trying right now. And it says Kitsu is most likely at Captains hill." Lisa answers.

"Why would she be there?" Alec asks.

"No reason." Lisa answers before wincing. "Now she's at Brockton Bay College."

"How?" I ask. She's fast, but not that fast.

"Exactly, anytime I try with her, I get contradictions, misfire's, or rabbit holes of speculation." Lisa explains. "I'd chalk it up to a stranger power, but sometimes it's accurate."

"So, we can't even deduce whaz true, by deduce'n whaz wrong, because it ain't all wrong?" Gambit asks as he takes a seat in the recliner.

"Exactly, if it was always wrong, I could just be like. Oh! She's definitely not at Captains hill, or Brockton Bay College." Lisa says in frustration. "But no, it's so inconsistent that when I try to figure out why it's inconsistent, I get headaches."

"Mo chagren, didn't mean ta offend." Gambit says.

"Let's get back on track." I say. "The plan? We still need one."

"Right, well, we can start with the route." She says. "They expect us to try something. So they won't be changing the standard route."

"What about decoys? Send a transport truck down the normal route and have covert one take another." Gambit says, bringing up a good point.

"They wouldn't risk the resources." Lisa says with a shake of her head. "They don't have the capes to equally divert and we're considered small time to them."

"So they're expecting us?" Reiko adds. "Why walk into a trap?"

"A good point." I back up.

"They're not expecting Gambit." Lisa counters. "Miss Militia and Armsmaster are ill-equipped to deal with his power. Armsmaster is our biggest hang up here, but we can team up on him and force a retreat or make him hang back."

"So where're we doin this for?" Gambit asks.

"The midway point, right on the edge of the boardwalk bordering the commercial district." Lisa informs. "It's a high traffic area, the PRT will be slowed down and be forced to hold back or risk civilian lives and collateral damage."

We continue like this, fleshing out the plan.

.

-Wednesday, May 5th, 2pm, Transport Truck, en route to courthouse-

.

.

Kitsu POV

.

"You don't have to be here." Rachel says, head down and looking to the floor as she's stuck behind the bars. "I'm not going to run."

"I want to be." I inform her. "And I don't think you will."

Rachel has been compliant the entire time after our talk where I proved she wasn't a sociopath. The results of lie detector tests aren't admissible as evidence. But the fact that she got through it flawlessly allows her sociopathy diagnoses to be called into question. And it helps Daredevil to work out a way to prove it in court.

She still needs a trial, that doesn't change. But now she has a defense and a chance for probation with good behavior. Daredevil says it'll likely be contingent on her attending behavioral therapy.

The main reason she's been so compliant is her dogs. Another point showing that she's not a sociopath. She's not willing to risk anything happening to her dogs. And she knows that being obstinate and difficult only increases the odds of something happening to them. Sociopaths aren't like that. They rarely ever care about others, human or animal.

Also I agreed to look after her dogs until she gets out. And to hire others to help and make damn sure they do their jobs!

"Why?" She asks after a bit of silence.

"Just wanna." I say with a shrug.

Can't really go through the technicalities of me wanting to be their for emotional support. To Rachel, gestures and words mean nothing. Actions are all that speak.

"Hrm." She just grumbles.

"Not much of a conversationalist are you." Dad says.

He's here too. We're meeting Daredevil at the courthouse. Well, Matthew Murdock. Rachel's attorney for this case.

"No." She says simply.

"Noted." Dad drawls out awkwardly.

We ride in silence for a bit longer, the truck slowing down as it enters the more traffic heavy parts of the city. I can't see outside the truck, the back compartment is completely blocked off. But I can still hear the muffled sounds of outside.

The truck makes a sudden and abrupt stop as it shakes each of us and almost launches us out of our seats.

"Get ready!" Dad says as he stands and holds onto the ceiling rail.

"For what?" I ask as I stand up.

*Rmm*

Red lights flash as an alarm blares. Something that just a few days ago would've left me covering my ears in pain.

"That!"

"Hell's going on?!" Rachel asks.

*Krrr*

The doors handle to the back of the truck just busted off in a pinkish purple explosion, and I turn myself invisible to get in a potential sneak attack.

"Mo chagren fer the disturbance." I hear as the doors swing open to reveal a tall brown haired man. With looks that can only be described as roguishly handsome. Brown trench coat, red shirt, black fingerless gloves, and armored boots over standard jeans. "But I' gon need ya ta hand over the girl."

'Okay, accent makes me think Gambit.' I think to myself. 'What's he doing here?'

"Not happening." Dad says and lobs a green ball at the guy.

He pulls out a baton that pops into a full staff and quickly kicks back. I can't see anything due to the orb in my way, but a second later it bursts with a small amount of force to reveal Gambit a few feet away, holding up a few cards and resting the staff on his shoulder. Cars left vacant on the road as people are quickly leaving, abandoning their vehicles to avoid being possible collateral.

Well, the smart ones are. There are more than a few trying to drive out of the way despite being blocked in by other cars.

"Gon hafta try better'n that! Gotta say, the girl didn'a mention you. Wad sure Miss Militia or Armsmaster would be here." Gambit says, doing one handed card tricks.

"They're busy." Dad says. "Stay in here and guard Rachel." He whispers as he steps out and hops down.

"Busy 'nuff that they sent a retired cape to guard a flight risk?" Gambit says with a smirk.

"Why does everyone think I retired?" Dad whispers to himself.

"Well, Now tha yer out'ere, I outta tell ya, I was the distraction." Gambit says with a smirk.

'Huh?'

Before I can register anything else. All my senses to them are blocked out as a cloud of darkness covers the busted opening. It doesn't seep into the truck. But I can't sense anything past it. And soon two people come from the side of truck doors hinges and into the truck. Looking as though they held onto the truck to guide them. A platinum white haired girl in purple robes and a purple neck gaiter, hiding the lower half of her face. And a blonde girl in a dark purple full body leotard with a black domino mask.

'Tattletale, and who's the other one?' I realize.

"Hey Rache!" Tattletale says as she saunters over. "We're here to bust ya out."

I go ahead and make a series of illusionary chains shoot out of the darkness and grab the purple clad girl. Yank her back into the unperceivable mess that is the black smoke.

"Ah!" She squeaks before disappearing.

"Poltergeist!" Tattletale screams as she turns to the girl who's now gone.

I make an illusionary Ghost Rider step out of the darkness to hopefully scare the shit out of her. Poltergeist is likely lost in the darkness.

Tattletale isn't scared. She just looks confused.

.

.

Lisa "Tattletale" Wilbourn POV

.

'What am I looking at?' I question

Nothing, my power is registering, nothing!

'What happened to Reiko?'

Reiko was forced into Brian's darkness. Reiko is stuck. Brian will likely cut off the darkness in order to asses what happened.

We can't have that! The only thing keeping the PRT away is his darkness. They don't know what's in it and can't risk-

"GuiLTy." The flaming skeleton biker says as it points to me.

"Hush up I'm trying to figure something out." I say. "Hey, Bitch. Do you know what's going on?" I ask as I turn to her.

She looks like she wants to say something. But can't decide on what.

Rachel is conflicted. Rachel knows what's going on. Rachel doesn't know what's going on.

'What is happening?' I question.

Unforeseen complications, there is another in the truck.

I swing my head around, looking everywhere I can for the other person. The flaming skeleton having disappeared while I was questioning, everything.

I look around, not seeing anything.

Lack of dust and debris in middle of bench on right. Individual is hidden. Darkness is receding.

I look to the bench on my right and notice it is a bit cleaner than the rest of the bench. Though now I'm wondering what to do with the knowledge of an unknown being right next to me!

"I should've figured I wouldn't be able to hide from you for long." I hear a cutesy voice sound out before she shimmers into existence. "Did you figure it out on your own. Or did you need help from your power?" She asks with a friendly smile.

'Help?' I ask. 'What do we know?'

Kitsu, is a girl. Is a child. Is a, Cadd, ca, Case 5$ e, Case 53. Kitsu fkanfn djjs-

'WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?!' I start to panic as my head pounds and throbs.

'Unable to consolidate information on subject while in presence of said individual. Contradictions to known information causing errors.'

'What do I know for sure?!'

Lisa is panicking.

'About her!'

Kitsu is a girl. Kitsu is a xjd chi child. Kitsu has a tail. Kitsu is blonde.

'More helpful please!'

Kitsu is powerful. Kitsu is dangerous. Kitsu is getting agitated at being ignored.

I look up at her to see she does indeed have a bored look. Resting a head in her hand.

"I'll take that as your power. Something about, supernatural intuition?" She says in a flat tone. "So what do you want me to call you? I know three of your names."

Kitsu knows Lisa is Sarah.

'Is that her thinker power?' I ask to try and regain some measure of control.

Fuck.

"Tats!" Brian calls. "What's going on in here?!"

I turn to see him hop into the truck and freeze at seeing Kitsu. Before slowly turning to me.

Brian is annoyed. Brian will remind Lisa of her error.

"Eighty percent, huh?" He says in a judgmental voice.

'Fuck everyone here.'

Lisa is-

"Plan B!" I shout.

"Ooh! What's plan B?" Kitsu asks.

I stay still as Brian's darkness comes back and washes over us. Spreading throughout the cabin. I get picked up by large hands and put on someone's shoulder. I don't need my power to know it's Brian.

I'm set back down on the road and the darkness slowly recedes. Going back to the truck.

The truck shakes and jostles. Rocking as indents get made, likely Kitsu panicking and trying to run in every other direction.

"Damn." Alec says. "Hope he doesn't get run over, that'd be awkward to explain to the boss."

I turn to him and notice he's next to Gambit. Making sure the tied up Flashbang doesn't escape.

Reiko's telekinesis is always good for trapping individuals. And since Alec has so much experience controlling her, he can have her exert her power over what he sees so long as she's in range. Making an effective pair. Especially with handcuffs and rope.

Not much longer and Brian escapes with Rachel over his shoulder. Setting the handcuffed girl down as he works on trying to get her cuffs off.

"Aye now, I got this'un for ya." Gambit says.

He walks up and pulls some tools out of his pocket and picks the handcuffs.

"Damn, sure you don't want to stay with us?" Alec asks.

"As sure as livin' in the Big Easy ain't easy."

Gambit will not stay

'I got that.' I remark to my power. 'Mostly.'

As I'm thinking this, a pink and blonde blur speeds out of the truck and rolls, tumbles, along the road.

"Mother! Buckingham! Fudge monkey!" Kitsu screams.

"Plan?" Brian asks.

"Uh, gimme a second." I say as Kitsu gets up and dusts herself off.

'Anything?!'

Surrender

"Open to suggestions!" I say as Kitsu gets up and speeds towards us.

"My power isn't working!" Alec says as he sweeps his arm. "Her nervous system is foreign to me!"

All of sudden, Kitsu stops. And starts floating mid air.

"Wuh?" She says numbly as she stops moving.

Reiko is using her power.

I turn to look at her and realize she is.

"I can move people?" She wonders aloud.

Reiko can move anything under a combined weight of fifty pounds. Kitsu is under fifty pounds.

'Reiko lacks a Manton Limit?!' I ask.

Reiko is incapable of moving components if they are attached. Reiko cannot move items inside a body. Reiko can lift an individual if they are under fifty pounds.

Talk about a lucky break!

"Alright, we need to move now!" I say. "Plan C escape route."

"This is bogus!" Kitsu cries in the background. "I do not consent to this!"

"Brian, you and Rachel go head and go. Reiko needs to be last in order to hold the Endstopper as long as possible." I say.

"That name is stupid!" Kitsu cries out.

"We have about two more minutes before more capes show up, let's go!"

.

Rachel "Bitch/Hellhound" Lindt POV

.

I don't like this.

"Rachel!" Kitsu calls out as she looks to me, ears down and tail slowly drooping. "Please! If you go now there's nothing I can do to defend you if you get caught again."

'She's done quite a bit.' I think to myself. 'If I go now. It'll all be wasted.'

"Bitch, we gotta go! What are you waiting for?" Brian asks.

The Undersiders took me in. They helped me earn the money to protect my dogs and try to help me understand people.

But I understand Kitsu, and Kitsu promised to help me understand others. She helped me when she didn't have to. For no other reason than she likes me. An unconditional love and loyalty only dogs give.

This will likely be my only chance to escape. But if I do, I lose any help I could get from Kitsu, and any professionals who know how to help me. If I go, I throw away all of Kitsu's work. If I stay, I leave the Undersiders, forever.

"Bitch!" Brian calls.

"What about my dogs?"

I think this is the right place.

Ocean? Check. City? Check. Bay? Check.

River? I don't think there's supposed to be a river going through Brockton Bay.

"Excuse me sir!" I call to a nearby man.

"What the fuck!" He exclaims as he falls over.

"Oh! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to startle you." I say and put a hand out to help him up.

"You, you're real." He says with wide eyes.

"Um, yeah. Why wouldn't I be?" I ask in confusion.

"I ub, uh. Wha what did you need?" He asks as he stands up on his own, not taking his eyes off me.

"Oh! I was just wondering if you could tell me where I am." I ask.

"Uh, New Orleans." He says with a concerned look.

"What!?" I exclaim in surprise. "I haven't even left the state?!"

I've been going in the opposite direction!

QUESTIONS!

.

FOR NEWB!

RadChaos897: Does Kitsu's immortality work in space?

NEWB: Yes, Kitsu's immortality is an All-or-Nothing power. Nothing can physically injure her. Especially when she activates the secondary ability with it, the zero knockback. Kitsu may seem like an unstoppable when she gets serious, but the truth is, she's the immovable object. The ultimate defense incarnate. Able to survive anything, and everything with a singular, hyper specific exception in the form of Scion.

RadChaos897: What other characters from other franchises do you intend to introduce?

NEWB: FUN FACT! Firebreather, and Invincible, are set in the same universe.

Google "Firebreather The Pact"

RadChaos897: If Behemoth farts, will it create a mushroom cloud?

NEWB: Behemoth can't fart. But if he could, well.

Silent but deadly wouldn't be a thing with him.

.

FOR [Conduit]!

.

FOR KITSU!

RadChaos897: Have you ever looked up the Scaly Foot Gastropod? You could use it to grow minerals and metals.

Kitsu: HOW WOULD I EVEN GET ONE?! THEY LIVE IN VOLCANIC VENTS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE OCEAN AND ARE CLASSIFIED AS AN ENDANGERED SPECIES!

But yes, I have heard of them.

RadChaos897: What route do you plan to take with the ferry? Are you going for professionalism or more bio-tinkered fantasy?

Kitsu: The second option. I already have plans to make a willow tree for the center of main deck that glows at night. And flowers that glow when people are near. I'm going for a sort of, "Forgotten Vale Cave" or "Feywild Underdark" vibe. I also have moss that'll settle in the crooks and cracks of the boards on the ship, causing a soft blue glow when in the dark. Outlining the boards and their grooves.

RadChaos897: Are you comfortable with getting into the more fleshy and bloody aspects of biokinesis?

Kitsu: I am, but everyone else around me isn't.

RadChaos897: Do you have plans to deal with teleporters who could teleport you into space?

Kitsu: Depends on how far into space I get sent.

RadChaos: What other insects are on the list for you to acquire?

Kitsu: Silk worm. Silky silky.

RadChaos897: Have you ever thought of working with coral?

Kitsu: I have, it's just not easy to acquire and keep live specimens in Brockton Bay.

RadChaos897: Have you been experimenting with mirror neurons?

Kitsu: I have not.

RadChaos897: More of a question for NEWB and Kitsu. Do you remember the perfectly preserved Borealopelta? Or the perfectly preserved dinosaur egg with the embryo still inside? Could you do anything with that? Jurassic fox?

Kitsu: I cou-

NEWB: NO! NO! No! We have an entire series of movies, detailing just how bad of an idea that is.

Kitsu: But!

NEWB: NO! CHAPTER OVER! CUE THE END MESSAGE!
