(A/N): We're back with Elaine, James, Remus, Mia, Dahrya, Brooke, Sirius, and Peter. The boys are back, and they are in town. (the boys are back in town, yeah, the boys are back in town)

Elaine

We entered the boys' dorm to a warm welcome from said boys. "Find anything useful?" James asked immediately upon seeing Remus and I enter the room, before his eyebrows rose as Mia and Dahrya followed behind us- and rose even further, as Brooke brought up the rear. On second thought, I shouldn't be giving her ideas of body parts to talk about.

"Not only did she find, she brought back," Sirius crowed, jumping up from where he had been reclined on his bed with his hands behind his head with a grin. "Pete, bust out the snacks; we've got company!" Peter gave him a genuine salute and eagerly set about doing just that.

"Well, well," Brooke said with a charming little smirk. "Aren't you all such generous gentlemen?" Sirius turned a salacious grin in her direction with an exaggerated wink, and she huffed a laugh. "Speaking of 'generous gentlemen': Ladies, will you be joining me on Leo's bed?"

I shook my head without even thinking about it; usually, I would have been the first to sit on Leo's bed, but after last night's nightmare... I just couldn't bring myself to do so. "No. No, and four would be a bit of a tight fit, anyway." Brooke shrugged, seemingly completely unbothered by this, and Mia and Dahrya followed her over to Leo's bed. While Dahrya didn't take Brooke's suggestion of sitting on Leo's bed she did lean against one of the end posts of his four poster, and Mia took a seat on the opposite side with an arm wrapped around the other so she could lean over the footboard to be more present in the conversation. Brooke herself leaned against the headboard with her ankles crossed and Leo's pillow tucked behind her back, the two younger girls unintentionally bookending hers where she sat between them, just a bit further back. Seeing this was what made me look around and ask, "Where's Lily?"

"We knew you'd be a while," James said, not sounding annoyed or judgemental in any way- as if he truly didn't blame me for taking my time, and not taking him with me, instead of Remus. "She went back to the girls' dorm, and I think she planned to go down to breakfast with Mary, Alice, and Marlene, too. Probably... Probably for the best she isn't here, for the initial debrief." Mhm, yeah; probably.

"We learned a lot, but not necessarily about... that," Remus told him for me, and Sirius turned to stare at him as if he expected him to add more to that statement. Remus's chin dipped slightly, and he stared him down to convey his displeasure at the perceived challenge. "Elaine, this was your mission." His, 'so it's your job to fill them in' was silent, but nonetheless heard.

I took a breath to brace myself and everyone turned to look at me- not just the boys, who were totally in the dark, but the girls, too. And Remus! "We haven't really talked to Brooke yet, other than-" I blushed, and she smirked a smirk that would put even Sirius to shame. "Anyway, the reason we wanted to talk to her was... veela related, and more for Mia than anyone else. Still, I figured, she was Leo's girlfriend, and she was... there, so it makes sense to talk to her." Mia's brows drew together, clearly confused, and Dahrya seemed slightly surprised, but not angry, for once. "Dahrya helped us get some insight into the... half-vampire mind, and Mia- Well, Mia told us some stuff that I doubt Leo ever would." The boys blinked heavily, particularly James.

"Why do I have the feeling that isn't a good thing?" He asked rhetorically. "I mean, why do I feel like anything Leo isn't telling us is going to be the same as the stuff he does tell us, which is to say, painful and sad?" I gave him a look, and he nodded. "Right, yeah, of course." Brooke snorted softly, and I couldn't tell if it was amused or scornful. "Do you have information, or are you just here to laugh at us?" Clearly, James at least thought she was amused- and in response to this, she got a small mischievous smile on her face that I really didn't like and shrugged.

"You want me to tell you something you don't already know?" She asked leadingly, and I held up a hand to stop her.

"Not if it pertains to Leo's private anatomy, or bedroom habits." Once again Brooke seemed highly amused that I had pre-empted her, even as James choked and spluttered and Sirius perked up like a dog who had just heard their owner say, 'walkies!'

"I- I'm sorry, what now?" James asked, sounding vaguely scandalised- though whether it was because it was Leo she would be talking about or just in general, I couldn't quite tell.

Sirius bounced over to lean against Leo's bedside table in a manner a lot less controlled than Dahrya had leaned against the bedpost, just to cock a brow at Brooke and say, "I'm listening." She laughed.

"Well, at least someone wants to hear what I have to say." I rolled my eyes at her and she pinched her lips together in an attempt to minimise her grin. "Look, I don't know what you want from me; I can do the veela stuff, but Elaine said she expected me to deliver on the 'intimacy' front- romantic, emotional intimacy, that is- which isn't exactly something I feel suited for, considering that Leo and I weren't really..." She shrugged. "If anyone can offer insight on that front, it's you, Elaine." I was surprised by this momentarily, but didn't dispute it. Couldn't.

"Elaine's the one who insisted I talk to you in the first place; I didn't even want to." Brooke didn't seem to take any offense to Mia's grumbling- in fact, she looked like she enjoyed it. "I was threatened into it, actually." James's eyebrows furrowed, before Mia turned her narrowed eyes in Dahrya's direction.

"If you weren't trying to chicken out of it, I wouldn't have had to apply pressure," Dahrya said nonchalantly. "I wouldn't expect you to act the coward, Joannis."

I wasn't sure it was a good idea to refer to Mia by her last name, especially since Dahrya was already on thin ice with her, right now. As it turns out, I shouldn't have worried, since all she did was laugh in response. "No cowards here," James said, obviously aiming to soothe, especially since he was holding his hands up placatingly. "Anything else to report, Elaine?" I shrugged.

"Right this second, in a general sense? Mia and Dahrya both know we're all animagi." James winced.

"Uh... okay. I guess that's... okay. That's cool, right?" He immediately looked to Remus for confirmation; guidance. "We trust them, they're not going to tell anyone- right, girls?"

Dahrya and Mia both nodded, even if Dahrya's was accompanied by a slightly annoyed sigh. Brooke, on the other hand, sat up as though the bed beneath her was slowly heating up to an unbearable temperature. I wouldn't put it past it, after what I had seen it do last night. "Well, I'm certainly not going to tell anyone," She said, which was a relief, albeit an expected one. "But I would like to know more, considering that this is the first I've heard of it." And that was the opposite of an expected relief.

(A/N): Elaine: 'We accidentally told Mia and Dahrya that we're animagi, sorry guys.'

James: 'That's okay, we all make mistakes.'

Brooke: 'Um… yeah, about that… what the hell?'

I can't remember if Brooke knows that they're animagi, but I can't see a reason why she would, so here's her finding out.

Yes, the chapter title is based on Selena Gomez's 'Tell Me Something I Don't Know'. Don't judge me, it just fits.

I finished 'chapter 694', which did indeed end up actually being chapter 700, and finished the next two and a half chapters- or at least, some chapters between 690 and 702. Also, I made a mistake in the ordering of my chapter list, so there's actually a chapter between 700 and the Anniversary chapter, which I thought was going to be 701 but is now 702 (because I wrote the same number twice, and had to shift everything). Hopefully I'll get chapter 696 finished before I go to bed, but maybe not, considering it's giving me a bit of trouble. They've ALL been giving me a bit of trouble, lately.
