Here it is, the 160th full chapter of Miraculous Quirks released a week late but sometimes life happens like that unfortunately though if I can manage it, which is unlikely with all my stories, I'll try to upload two in a week to get back on schedule but no promises there. As for this chapter, the longest in this story to date, it's pretty straightforward as it's time for Class 1-A to meet their kwamis that Marinette's Quirk paired them with when seeing who was the best partner for each kwami. As the meetings are in their rooms and one on one, I've decided to have each section being from the member of Class 1-A's perspective from entering their room to meeting their kwami and the aftermath hence why this chapter is so long and why it might feel a bit repetitive at points as I wanted to give each character their own moment. Anyway, that is all the administrative stuff that I have for you, however, and there are no guest reviews that can be responded to or questions to answer so I will end this note here. Do keep the reviews coming as I enjoy hearing from y'all. That is all I have for this pre chapter note so that means that it is time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the 160th full chapter of Miraculous Quirks.

Disclaimer: I do not own either of these great works of fiction.

Chapter 160: Meeting Their Kwamis

Jiro let out a sigh as she returned to her room. The day had been long, really long. It had started with the news of a reprieve before the final battle with All for One, Shigaraki, and their forces thanks to Star's sacrifice which despite the sadness of the top American hero's death had galvanized them to work even harder to ensure that her actions had not been in vein. They'd hit the training hard after that and even dealing with Kaminari's question and the three issues that they faced regarding it; they'd focused on the upcoming battle and were getting ready for it as best they could.

Of course it had been during that that they'd gotten word of Aoyama's betrayal and capture at the hands of Midoriya and Marinette so that had thrown their whole day off. From there they'd dealt with the aftermath of Aoyama's secrets being revealed but even in the midst of that a silver lining had emerged when, thanks to Kaminari of all people, they'd realized that thanks to Aoyama's unique situation, they had an opening to strike at All for One in a way that they'd not had before.

They'd not known how to capitalize on it at first but thanks to Mr. Aizawa, they had a plan which was now being perfected by the pros and police who could be trusted and so Class 1-A had shifted into high gear with more training and work as they got ready for the coming battle in a week's time. As such the rest of the day had been spent with Mt. Lady in the field hunting down and capturing any remnants of the Paranormal Liberation Front and the League of Villains, which was training in its own way, before returning to U.A. for dinner, a hot bath and bed.

Oddly, Marinette and Agreste had not been with them for when they left to hunt down villains and help any remaining citizens who weren't in shelters. Agreste made sense, he was getting a stomach pump fitted just as Marinette had had done the day before, but Marinette's absence was confusing. When asked, Momo had said that Marinette had some special training to sort out to help get used to her stomach pump and so they all left it at that as they trusted her and wanted her to be at her best for the coming battle. That and they all had their own things to focus on for the rest of the day.

Now that the day was over, however, Jiro's plan as she entered her room after the group bath the girls had had was to relax for a few moments by working on her latest song to calm her mind before she got into bed and crashed. She'd need that sleep because they were all waking up early and repeating the training and field work tomorrow and Jiro did know how well she'd sleep so she wanted to give herself as much time as possible on that front.

Alas, it seemed that that might have to wait because as her door closed behind her and she looked over her room, Jiro noticed that something was off. That something was a small, dark brown, hexagonal box with a red marking on the lid that sat on her desk with note next to it.

Jiro knew at once that it wasn't hers as it hadn't been there when she'd left her room that morning and so she hesitantly walked up to it. However, as soon as she saw the note she let out any tension that she had as she recognized the handwriting at once. Oddly it was in English but given who wrote it, Jiro understood why as the delicate and neat writing was Marinette's.

She was well aware that despite Marinette's fluency in Japanese, a fluency that Jiro now knew was artificial due to magic, she'd never really gotten the hang of writing kanji and so she tended to favor French when possible. If failing that Marinette would use English, though she was trying to use kanji more, as most of them could understand it to a point and the Latin alphabet was easier for Marinette though with the notes that Marinette had left, only Jiro's was in English.

That was because out of everyone in the class, Jiro was actually ranked third in the class in the language behind Momo and Agreste, and in front of Marinette which had surprised her, but seeing as Jiro sang in English and thanks to her parents and their musical tastes, which she'd inherited, she had learned the language long ago so Marinette leaving her a note in English made sense. As such, Jiro picked up the box in one hand and the note in the other and read the note.

Kyoka,

Sorry for the surprise but I had to use the time you were all off campus hunting down villains after Aoyama's detention to sort this out and leave it for you and as there were a lot to deal with it took time. I wish I could have been in the field with all of you but this came first. Don't worry, I will be with all of you tomorrow.

Anyway, inside the box is one of the 19 Miraculouses that Adrien and I told you about last month. After talking with Mage following Mr. Aizawa's plan in regards to the final battle, and conferring with the kwamis, they have all decided to help out in the coming war the way Kaalki is helping Momo. Following my own test, you were who my Quirk decided was best for this Miraculous and so I am lending it to you to use in the coming war and after which you will return it to me.

Don't worry, we will all train tomorrow morning with Mage's assistance so that those with Miraculouses can get used to using them and their powers though we won't be using them in the field unless absolutely necessary. Due to numbers a few won't have one but the ones who don't are either Aoyama or have such specific opponents that a kwami would get in the way and so they can continue to focus on their own personal battles to come. Over the next few days, in addition to our other training and field work, Adrien and I help you adapt to using the Miraculous.

Jiro, I should note that this Miraculous in particular is special as it was the first one that I ever lent out to an ally and was the one that my best friend back in Paris used so it means a lot to me. Please use it well for the good of Japan and the world.

Marinette

Jiro blinked at the letter, especially the last paragraph as that was clearly personal. She was aware that Marinette had lent them out in the past to her friends in Paris, she told them as much during her reveal, as well as here in Japan as Momo and Toru had used them with the latter still using the Horse Miraculous, but she'd not expected to use one herself.

It was a huge responsibility, especially seeing as Marinette had mentioned that she'd received the one that Marinette's best friend had used, and Jiro wasn't going to take this lightly. She respected and admired Marinette immensely, she looked up to the French girl and saw her as a leader amongst the girls in the class so she wouldn't let her friend down now that Marinette was showing such trust in her.

"Well then let's see who you are." Jiro said as she opened the box and saw a small pendant that was a curled fox' tail starting orange and getting lighter until the final segment, the tip of the tail, was white with the color gradation occurring through 5 clear segments that were bordered with gold and on a gold link chain before it was suddenly obscured by an orange ball of light. "Woah, I wasn't expecting that."

"Yeah it can be a bit disorientating the first time you see it." An oddly familiar albeit masculinized voice said and Jiro blinked as the ball formed into a small anthropomorphic orange fox complete with bushy tail that was tipped with a white muzzle and inner ears and black arms and legs and borders on his ears. "Hello Kyoka Jiro, I'm Trixx, the Kwami of Illusion. As you can see, I'm a fox and the pendant is my Miraculous."

"Y, yeah I can tell." Jiro said blinking as she tried to process things. "So you've decided to aid us then."

"That I have, as have my fellow kwamis for we cannot stand by as evil threatens the world." Trixx confirmed. "And Lucky Charm, well the Quirk version of it that is, chose you when Marinette set the goal as my partner so here I am. As she noted, I was once partnered with her best friend Alya Césaire 230 years ago when Marinette lived in Paris and while I guess Kaalki has that distinction now, well she at least has the honor of being the first of us to be paired with one of Marinette's new friends, I am still happy to help her friends out."

"I'm more than happy to have your assistance." Jiro said still processing things. "I wasn't expecting this though so it will take a few moments to fully grasp that Marinette has trusted you to me."

"Yeah, yeah, I saw we jump in the deep end at the start and transform so that you understand and then we can start to get to know each other." Trixx said looking around the room. "I see that you enjoy music, interesting. I've got millennia of experience with music so I'm sure we'll get along just fine."

"Oh really, yeah I really like music." Jiro said with a slight flush and glad that her class had helped show her that her hobby could be useful as a hero albeit indirectly. "C, can I ask you a question before we start?"

"Of course, what is it?" Trixx asked turning back to Jiro.

"Why do you sound like Pixie-Bob?" Jiro said asking what had been bugging her since Trixx started talking and was getting in the way of her fully processing the whole being entrusted with a Miraculous thing. "Sorry it's throwing me off especially because you're a fox and she's got this whole cat theme going."

"First off I'm male, well male personality as we kwamis don't actually have a gender but same thing, so I don't know as I've never met that pro hero though Marinette has told me of her." Trixx said confusing Jiro on multiple levels but Trixx continued. "Apparently she doesn't like Adrien being around her as she gets his cat puns flowing again and that can be annoying. Now, if that's all, please put my Miraculous on and let's get to work."

"Right, yes sorry." Jiro said deciding to just ignore the confusing stuff as she pulled out the necklace and put it on noting with some confusion that it turned from a fox's tail into a silver treble clef on a black chain but Jiro decided to ask about that later as she looked at Trixx. "So how does this work? If I recall, Yao-Momo spoke an activation phrase when she used a Miraculous in the woods near that villa so I presume that you have one as well."

"I do, it's Trixx, Let's Pounce." Trixx said with a nod. "Just say that and you'll transform, Kyoka."

"Alright then." Jiro said as she struck a pose and decided to ignore why Trixx was using her first name for the moment. "Trixx, Let's Pounce!"

At that Trixx was sucked into the necklace with a grin and Jiro began to change. As she did she wondered who was paired with which kwami in her class.

"Man was that was so manly what Bakugo did to catch that last villain." Kirishima said as he entered his room and closed the door behind him still thinking back over the afternoon of tracking down wanted villains after the whole Aoyama situation. "And that bath was just what I needed after everything today."

With that Kirishima stretched and yawned as he turned from the door to look over the room. He was already in his pajamas, a towel around his shoulders and his dyed red hair down and still slightly damp. It had been a long day of hard training, villain brawls, helping civilians, and emotional turmoil with Aoyama but they had a plan and direction now and that gave Kirishima another boost to surpass his limits, get stronger, and be the shield he needed to be in the coming war with All for One and his lackies.

Naturally, that meant more training tomorrow so with that he went to his bed to crash. However, just as he sat down he saw that there was a small, dark brown, hexagonal box on his pillow with a note under it. That was confusing and he hesitantly picked both items up and put the box in his lap before looking at the letter. It was in Japanese and the handwriting, while neat, was clearly deliberate and precise thus indicating someone who wasn't confident with writing kanji.

There was only one person in their class who really struggled to write kanji and Kirishima grinned as he read the note to confirm it. This was not what he'd been expecting but he'd take it and as he trusted her implicitly, as he did her boyfriend, he wasn't going to hesitate with anything regarding it.

Kirishima

Kirishima, please be aware that this specific Miraculous was used by Adrien's best friend Nino back in Paris as well as the partner of our mentor so we know how to work with this kwami and he's a dear friend. It was also one of the few Miraculouses that I was certain I knew who'd be paired with it when I used my Quirk to find the right partner so please use his power for the good of the nation and the world.

Marinette

"Damn well I can't argue with that or fail to live up to this expectation, now I?" Kirishima asked himself and he showed his trust for Dupain-Cheng by immediately liftingthe lid of the box when he was done reading the note and caught a glimpse of a jade green charm on a black leather bracelet before it was obscured by a ball of green light that shot up and formed into an anthropomorphic green turtle that Kirishima recognized as one of the 'plushies' in Agreste's room though now he knew that they were actually kwamis. "Woah, so you're the kwami for this Miraculous little dude? Cool, I've already got an idea why Dupain-Cheng expected that I'd be your partner."

"That I am." The kwami said in a masculine and educated voice while smiling at Kirishima. "I am Wayzz, the Kwami of Protection. I grant you the power to protect yourself or those who need it and as I am aware of your Quirk thanks to Adrien it really wasn't a surprise that I was paired with you, Ejiro Kirishima."

"Protection?" Kirishima said grinning. "Yeah I got the feeling that that would be it and man that's perfect because that's what I do best!"

"So I've heard." Wayzz said with a smile. "Marinette did mention that when she got a replica of your weights from her Lucky Charm she knew that her guess that you'd be my partner was correct. She of course wasn't influenced by that, her goal was solely done to find my perfect partner, but she had her suspicions and was pleased to be correct. If you don't mind, I'd like to see your power personally so that I can compare it with mine."

"Course man." Kirishima said still grinning as he slammed his fists together and hardened his body as he did so the fists clanged as they clashed. "It takes a lot of damage to break me like this and this is just the first stage, I can get harder if I push myself because I've gotta be unbreakable to protect people from villains or debris. Plus, the more damage I take when hard, the stronger I become in the future."

"I see, I recall it from watching you face Adrien in the Sports Festival but it's different in person and now I know that we're going to get on great, Ejiro." Wayzz said as Kirishima returned to normal. "So how about a test transformation to get used to my power?"

"Course dude, gotta have some practice here before we show the class tomorrow what we're made of." Kirishima said as he picked the bracelet up. "So what do I do?"

"Just put the bracelet on." Wayzz said and Kirishima did so noting that the color of the charm thing turned red to fit his style which got an eyebrow raise form Kirishima. "Oh right, yeah that's the disguise aspect of it. All Miraculouses have a camouflage mode when they're being worn and not ac so that no one knows that you're wearing one. Also the styles change depending on who's wearing it based on that person's personal style."

"I see, this magic stuff is something else." Kirishima said accepting it without question as he had just seen it happen. "And to activate it?"

"Just say my activation phrase." Wayzz said. "Wayzz, Shell On!"

"Got it." Kirishima said as he stood up and took a manly pose. "Wayzz, Shell On!"

Wayzz just smiled as he was sucked into his Miraculous and the transformation was triggered. In seconds it was over and Kirishima was ready to see what this was all about and how his Quirk worked with Wayzz's power.

Shoji returned to his spartan room following the boys' bath ready for bed. He knew that soon he'd have to tell the rest of the class about his past, his immediate and vocal decision to defend the hospital from Spinner and his heteromorph army had no doubt raised a few questions in them that he'd have to answer.

Well, he'd do just that when the time came and even show them the scars on his face and explain why he understands Spinner but also why he knows that he must stop them and what motivated him to become a hero. Besides, several of his classmates had trusted him with their own, much greater, secrets so it was his turn to do the same for them and tell his class about his past.

All that would come soon though, after a day like today with the news of first Star's death and her sacrifice and then Aoyama's betrayal, well all they could focus on was training and hunting down wanted villains after Aoyama was led away while the teachers and cops made a plan. Shoji was fine with that and he had his own goal and motivation for the final battle, as did Koda, so he'd make sure that he was ready for that and that included getting a good night's sleep.

Well, that had been the plan but as soon as he got into his room he noticed it. It wasn't hard, Shoji was an extreme minimalist who only had a small desk to kneel at, a mat for said kneeling, a futon, blankets, and pillow so anything out of place was instantly noticeable. As such, he instantly saw the small, dark brown, hexagonal box that was on his desk along with a note next to it.

Rather than go up to it, however, Shoji closed the door and just used his Quirk to make an eyeball on the end of one of his Dupli-Arms before he moved it towards his desk before looking down on the note that was next to the box. He saw that it was in neat kanji that wasn't as casually written as someone who'd been raised with it which implied that it had to be one of the two French transfers. That was confirmed as Shoji read the note and his eyes, and the one on his Dupli-Arm, went wide at what it said.

Shoji

Shoji, please take care and be nice to this kwami, he was the one enslaved and abused by our enemy back in Paris before he was relinquished after our disappearance so he's been through a lot. Remind him what a true hero is like.

Marinette

It took a moment for Shoji to recover from the info that he was reading. He'd be the first to admit that he wasn't as close with the French pair as others in the class were, though he did get along with them and was the reigning foosball champion in Agreste's room, but he liked them and certainly respected them. He'd seen the pair in action, he'd been there with Dupain-Cheng in the woods trying to save Bakugo and Tokoyami, so he knew what she was capable of but he'd not expected her to entrust one of these Miraculous things to him.

True, like the whole class, Shoji knew about the Miraculouses now, as well as the fact that magic was real, that the Guardians existed, and the true birth years and backstories of Agreste and Dupain-Cheng, but he knew little more than that. He'd seen Yaoyorozu's transformation in the mountains when she'd been forced to reveal the Miraculouses to them to face Gigantomachia, not that she'd told them what it was, so he knew how the powers works but to be given one himself wasn't what he'd seen coming, and judging by Dupain-Cheng's note he had a special one at that.

Well, whatever the case, he'd been trusted with it so Shoji moved across his room as he retracted his arm and then knelt at his desk. Dupain-Cheng's note had said that she'd used her Quirk to determine that he should be paired with this Miraculous and as he knew how Lucky Charm worked he put his faith in his friend and classmate's decision and reached out and opened the box.

For a brief moment he saw what looked like a broach with a deep purple stone in the center and four light purple protrusions in an X shape coming from it. Then, a light purple orb shot up and out of it and into the air where it turned into a small, 4 inch tall, floating lilac kwami, Shoji knew that that was what these magical creatures were called, with butterfly wings on its back, two antenna things coming from the bottom wings, and a swirl on its forehead.

"Hello Mezo Shoji, I am Nooroo, the Kwami of Transmission." The kwami said in a slightly high but still clearly male voice that was a little hesitant and Shoji could see the worry and a little fear in the poor kwami and recalled what Dupain-Cheng had written in her note. "Marinette has entrusted the Butterfly Miraculous to you. Please use it well."

"Nooroo, good to meet you." Shoji said smiling under his mask. "You don't need to be so formal or worried with me. Well, you're using my first name so you're already not that but relax, I saw Dupain-Cheng's note, I won't force you to do anything."

"I, well, the first name stuff is more as my holder we share a bond is such that it would be odd not to use it." Nooroo said. "And, well, um, it's been a while since I last had a holder and as you're aware thanks to Marinette, the last one wasn't very nice."

"Yes, Dupain-Cheng explained her enemy and how he used you in Paris, I'm sorry to hear that." Shoji said and his voice showed that he meant it. "I promise you that I won't be like that. I'm a hero not a villain."

"Oh I know that and Marinette trusts you so that's good, just, well, it was a rough time." Nooroo said sadly. "So it may take a bit to get used to a good holder again though I've been getting better since Marinette and Adrien returned."

"That I know all too well, we have that in common." Shoji said his voice low and his tone causing Nooroo to blink so he reached up and pulled down his mask to show the little kwami to show his elongated face, extended mouth, lack of a nose, large teeth, and the several scars around his lips with one running towards his neck "I'm not sure how much you know about this era but, well, as you can see I'm a heteromorph and unlike those who grew up in the cities I grew up in the sticks where prejudices against those who look different because of their Quirks or through inheritance of a parent with such a Quirk still run deep. As such, I grew up being feared for my look and berated for my so called dirty blood."

"I'm sorry to hear that." Nooroo said his eyes wide and able to relate to poor treatment from someone simply for being different. "I know enough of this day and age to know of the discrimination and treatment that heteromorphs like yourself face and alas I've been around for millennia so I know full well that humanity has always discriminated against each other in one way or another and how it is often for just looking or sounding different."

"Yes, such is the nature of some people which is why it is imperative for people like me to rise above it, to not be victims but to rather show through our actions that we are not what they say so that we can change minds." Shoji said. "If not then we let the hate and anger get the better of us and we become no better than those bigots that abused and beat us out because they were afraid of our different appearances to them."

"That is noble of you, Mezo." Nooroo said. "Is that what drives you?"

"In part, but really it was one important moment growing up." Shoji said smiling at it. "As I said, I didn't exactly grow up happy and these scars are proof of that and in fact I wear my mask because my bare face terrified a little girl to tears so I wear it to not frighten or upset others though I don't think that that was due to prejudice. However, one day, a little girl, a different one mind you, almost got swept away and drowned in a river and I used my Quirk to save her. That's my one good childhood memory related to my Quirk and it has served as my drive to be a hero. I volunteered for a mission specifically to counter those who are like me but went down the wrong path."

"I see, that shows that you have a good heart." Nooroo said smiling at the story and how Shoji had risen above it all. "I will be happy to finally serve a good human."

"Serve?" Shoji asked. "Dupain-Cheng explained things to us and her note was very blunt about it, you're not some slave Nooroo, you're a partner to your holder and for the coming war you're my partner. We're a team, equals."

"We are?" Nooroo said his eyes wide and Shoji nodded. "Oh, t, thank you."

"Of course." Shoji said and while he wanted to ask about the last holder before him, the villain who Dupain-Cheng and Agreste fought, he opted against it doing so at the moment. "We've got work to do and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't at least a little curious to see what using a Miraculous is like after seeing how Yaoyorozu has used one. How does this work?"

With that, and before Nooroo could Shoji picked up the Miraculous from the box and as he did the wings vanished and the gem became an eye with the clasp on the back. Clearly it was a broach of some sort and simple enough to understand and he put it on his chest. It wasn't really a fashion accessory he'd usually wear but, well, this wasn't about fashion.

"I see you've gotten the first bit but Kaalki has said that she's shown how things work to her holder's class so I'm not surprised that you know to put the Miraculous on." Nooroo said. "All that's left to do is to say 'Nooroo, Light Wings Rise.' That's my good transformation announcement, it's been too long since it was used."

"Very well, let's do this." Shoji said standing up and holding his arms to his sides. "Nooroo, Light Wings Rise!"

With that Nooroo was sucked into the broach once more. However, for the first time in centuries he was actually looking forward to working with a human and doing what he was meant to as a kwami, fight against evil rather than aid it.

Tokoyami was beat when he returned to his dark room. It had been a long, draining, day for all of them and after all the training, fighting villains, aiding civilians, and the revelations with Aoyama, he just wanted to crash. He'd eaten and bathed, now it was time for sleep.

Alas that wouldn't come right away because almost as soon as he entered and closed the door Dark Shadow came out. Tokoyami could pull him back in but he didn't have the energy for it though at the moment, that and it was a surprise when Dark Shadow emerged, and looked to his friend and Quirk as Dark Shadow flew towards his desk.

"Fumikage, something's different in here, I can tell." Dark Shadow said as he flew his head moving and yellow eyes glowing as he surveyed the room. "I was right! Look, someone left you something."

"Dark Shadow, now's not the…" Tokoyami began before it hit him. "Hold up, what did you say?"

"See, someone left this box on your desk." Dark Shadow said as he picked up a dark brown hexagonal box that was almost invisible in the dark room but for the red marking on the lid that seemed to glow and brought it over while turning around to face Tokoyami, a piece of paper fell to the floor that Tokoyami noticed as Dark Shadow came back to him. "It's not your style so I recognized it once away."

"Well don't open it." Tokoyami said. "There was something else with it so hold up until I check that out."

As he spoke he walked over to the paper and picked it up, turning it over to see the kanji on it and noticed right away that the writer clearly wasn't the best at it given how precise the hand was trying to be with it. That implied one person in his class so he quickly read to confirm, his eyes going wide at what the note said.

Tokoyami

Tokoyami, before the incident that send Adrien and myself here, this was the missing Miraculous that was returned and repaired after Hawk Moth gave up. Please use it well though I'll admit, I have absolutely no idea how this will work with Dark Shadow.

Marinette

However, while Tokoyami was reading, Dark Shadow had gotten curious and opened the box though it took him a moment as it was small and his hands were a bit too large at the moment for something so fine. After a few moments, though, he managed it just as Tokoyami was finishing reading the note and turned just as Dark Shadow let out a yelp and saw a ball of bright blue light shoot up from the box that looked a lot brighter in the dark room.

That had startled Dark Shadow and he dropped the box with a yelp and spilling its contents of it. Tokoyami had to lunge to catch the small item that fell from it, his trained reflexes managing it while the light of the blue ball gave him just enough illumination to see the item.

"Hello, I'm Duusu, the Kwami of Emotion." A high pitched, male, voice said above Tokoyami and clearly addressing Dark Shadow said as the light vanished, the sound causing Tokoyami to look up and away from what he'd caught before he could study it. "You must be my new holder, Fumikage Tokoyami. It is a pleasure to meet you."

"Er nice to meet you too but I'm not Fumikage." Dark Shadow said sounding really confused as Tokoyami took in the floating kwami in the shape of a blue peacock complete with the whole fancy tail thing that hung down below it. "I'm his Quirk and friend Dark Shadow, he's over there."

At that Dark Shadow pointed to Tokoyami and Duusu followed the point and the darkness to the human body and looked at Tokoyami. He seemed a little embarrassed by his mistake though given that Dark Shadow had opened the box, Tokoyami didn't blame the kwami at all.

"My apologies Fumikage." Duusu said as he flew over to Tokoyami. "I should have known, you've met Plagg before and he spoke of that meeting with his buddy Odd-Eye so he's described so when I saw a fellow bird I just presumed. Also Marinette mentioned this, but, well, it's just a bit dark in here."

"Don't remind me of that man, odd is an understatement for what he is." Tokoyami said recalling that team up debacle. "But yeah I met Plagg there. I didn't believe what Odd-Eye said about him until I saw Plagg again with Agreste after Midoriya ran off and Agreste confirmed that what Odd-Eye said was true which was rather surprising to say the least."

"Yes I believe that that was the reason why Plagg was honest with him, after all who'd believe that man." Duusu said and Tokoyami had to nod at that. "Plagg likes him though, he can be open around him and Odd-Eye gives him all the cheese he could want so who are we to judge."

"I can see why, he's into the arcane and all that darkness so the Kwami of Destruction would like that." Tokoyami said and as a fellow abyssal traveler he too understood Plagg like that and had even discussed the abyss a bit with the kwami a few times in the last month when Plagg was bored. "As do I, it's why I like the dark and got on with Agreste because he knows the path of darkness. Then again, he's actually been to the abyss and returned from it as its master."

"Er…" Duusu said.

"You get used to it." Dark Shadow said. "It's just who Fumikage is."

"Very well." Duusu said. "Well then as you're already pretty informed, shall we try this out. Marinette's not sure how I'll react with Dark Shadow but her Quirk told her that you were my ideal partner and as her Quirk is Lucky Charm and has the same properties as Tikki's power, well I can't argue with the results."

"Sure." Tokoyami said deciding that this was for the best and that any questions could wait for later. "Dark Shadow, return for now. We'll sort this out after transforming and see what happened."

"Ok but I'd better get a cool costume as well." Dark Shadow said as Tokoyami sucked him back into his body. "That will be…"

"I've seen many strange and wonderous Quirks but that's gotta be one of the strangest." Duusu said though it wasn't an insult, he was clearly fascinated by Dark Shadow. "How does Dark Shadow work? He's clearly sentient which is why it's such a unique Quirk."

"No clue, well other than the light weakening and darkness strengthening him though the latter makes him harder to control." Tokoyami admitted. "He's my best friend though so I don't question it or why he's like this."

"Fair enough, given that we know that Toru and Momo's Quirks work when we're active I presume the same will be for Dark Shadow though what the costume does with him is something that I can't predict." Duusu said. "Now just put that broach on and say 'Duusu, Spread my Feathers' and you'll transform. Don't worry, the Guardian of Magic has fixed my Miraculous as it was broken for a while so it's perfectly safe."

"We'll talk about that later but I trust Agreste and he trusts Dupain-Cheng and I'm sure she wouldn't have entrusted me with it if it wasn't safe so I'll take your word for it." Tokoyami said looking down at the broach in his hand for the first time and noting that it was now inky black with small gems on the ends of the feather fan design, which he noted was like a peacock's spread tail feathers, that seemed to absorb all light. "May as well try this and I can't lie, the style fits my personality."

"That is the camouflage aspect of it so that no one knows that you're wearing a Miraculous." Duusu said as Tokoyami put the broach on his shirt and noted that it didn't change color so it would go well with his hero costume cloak. "It changes depending on who's wearing it and given your love of black and the abyss that style does work for you."

"It really does." Tokoyami said with a nod before he looked at the kwami. "Now. Duusu, Spread my Feathers."

Sero yawned as he got back to his room and idly scratched his head as he closed his door. He was ready for bed and was going to sleep like a log for the next several hours but after the day that they'd all had, how could he not? True he was worried about Aoyama, they all were, but he was with Aizawa so he shouldn't be too bad. Plus, even though he betrayed them, he'd done so out of duress and fear and in the end it had worked out because he'd given the heroes the perfect opening to force the villains onto their playing field for the coming war.

Now all they had to do was capitalize on the advantage that Aoyama gave them but that was for the pros and police to work out. For Sero that just meant more training and hunting down villains which he was more than fine with doing as they waited on the plan to be finalized. Tomorrow would be the same as today so he was ready for that but as he reached his bed he noticed a small, dark brown, hexagonal box with a strange red marking on the lid in the center of his bed with a note written in Japanese that was neat and legible but clearly not in a hand comfortable with writing kanji.

That confused Sero and he sat down and picked up the note. Unlike some, he didn't know right away who'd written it but the neatness implied it was likely one of the girls in his class while the almost formulaic and precise way it was done, the discomfort he noted when he first glanced at the note, implied only one person.

Alas that also meant that it wasn't some love letter or what not as Sero would have wanted because said girl was Marinette Dupain-Cheng and she was very much taken. However, she was still a friend who'd helped Sero perfect his swinging, that girl was something else with her yo-yo and her enhanced constitution really added to what she could do, so he read over the letter and trusted that there was a good reason for it. There was and as Sero read did his eyes went wide.

Sero

Sero, this is the best capture based Miraculous and when I realized that it was you who'd be her partner I knew that her power would pair well with your Quirk so use it well. Just, um, bear with the kwami at first as she's not had a male holder, at least in my time, and while I explained who you were to her she may forget that at first. Lastly, her last holder was, well, a little much so be nice to her though Chloe was at least decent to her from what I remember.

Marinette

Sero was a bit confused by that but just shrugged it off and opened the box. He saw instantly why this might be a predominately female choice seeing as the Miraculous was a golden hair comb with a bee design on the holder and 9 tines but before Sero could pick it up a bright yellow ball of energy shot up from it and formed into a small, yellow bee-like kwami complete with a light yellow tuft around her neck, black antenna, black arms and legs, and a black markings on her head. Oddly, her sclera were blue though.

"Greeting my Que…oh my apologies, Marinette told me but that's a force of habit." The kwami said in an almost regal, feminine, voice. "Greeting my King, I am Pollen, the Kwami of Action, at your service."

"So that's what Dupain-Cheng meant." Sero said with a chuckle and enjoying being called 'King.' "I guess that makes sense though, bees are run by queens if I recall."

"That they are but I am still a kwami and have had male holders in the past, though it has been a while." Pollen admitted. "So, good sir, what is your name? I must know the name of my new King."

"Damn, I can get used to that but don't worry I won't abuse it." Sero said grinning as he looked at the kwami. "And I'm Hanta Sero, I'm not sure if Dupain-Cheng told you that or just that I'm a guy."

"Oh she did, I just wanted confirmation that you were the right one as I'd not seen you before as I live in Marinette's room so I only know the girls, and Adrien." Pollen said smiling that she had the right person after all. "So, Hanta, you're my new holder then. I look forward to working with you."

"Very casual using my first name I see." Sero said. "I wasn't expecting that, no one here calls me Hanta."

"You are my holder, we share a close bond because of that and as such I do not feel the need to be formal with you in that regard." Pollen said. "I can if you wish though, my King."

"No, Dupain-Cheng told us about the whole situation with that Hawk Moth guy." Sero said shaking his head. "I don't want to be like that, I'm going to be a hero and Dupain-Cheng has entrusted you to me as a partner and that's what you'll be. I was just curious, that's all."

"Very good." Pollen said. "Now, shall we transform so that you get a sense for my power before training tomorrow. It is better to be prepared after all and Marinette did say that you are aware of what the Miraculouses are so there is no point in delaying anymore unless you have more questions."

"Not at the moment, plus I want to see what it's like to wear use one of these things." Sero said picking up the comb and noting that it turned from it's yellow and black color into a simple black comb that a guy would use and which he could put in his hair and it wouldn't move so he was glad that he didn't have to wear it as is, something that Pollen would explain later. "So how do I do this? I know that I need to wear it, Yao-Momo is always wearing the glasses that are her Miraculous after all, but like is there something else? I saw her transformation but I was kinda busy preparing for a giant monster at the time so I didn't pay attention too hard. That and the whole her transforming really threw me."

"Of course just put the comb into your hair." Pollen said and Sero did just that. "Good now say 'Pollen, Buzz On!'"

"Pollen, Buzz On!" Sero said standing up.

Pollen just smiled as she was dragged into the Miraculous. It turned back to normal as she entered it and Sero began to change.

"Hey Toru, welcome back!"

Toru blinked, not that the speaker could tell, as she closed her dorm room door and turned to see Mullo floating over her desk, a pendant lying the surface below her. Toru knew that it had been a long and emotional day, especially for her as she'd been the one to learn about Aoyama's betrayal, but this was a lot to take in as she stared at the kwami over her desk. The last thing that Toru had expected to end today on was for Mullo to be in her room with her Miraculous.

"Mullo?" Toru asked as she walked forward, her pajamas that she was in after her bath showing that she was doing this. "I get you being here, you've visited a few times since Marinette and Adrien revealed everything to them but you've brought your Miraculous this time. I'm confused."

"That I have and here it is." Mullo said flying down to pick up the cord before flying over with the Mouse Miraculous and dropping it into Toru's invisible hands as Toru held them up, her small bath bag with her shampoo and soap in it indicating where her hands were. "As for why I'm here, well, we kwamis have decided to aid the heroes in the coming war. All of us have and as I already had a holder in you, well I didn't need to wait around for Marinette to use her Quirk to find out who the best partner for the others were and thus came straight here to wait for you. Well, via Marinette's room to pick up my Miraculous."

"I see and I'm not going to complain." Toru said smiling as she put the pendant on and it took its camouflaged appearance for the second time. "So we're training together now?"

"Yup, most of the others will likely try out their transformations tonight but we don't need that." Mullo said as she flew around Toru's head and Toru made her way to her bed. "We've worked together already so you already know what it's like to use a Miraculous and its powers."

"Yeah they're in for a surprise, the boost that using one gives is something else." Toru said as she pulled back her covers and made final preparations for bed. "So let's chat and you can tell me about the plan and who's got which Miraculous."

"Well I can't give that away, that will be revealed tomorrow and besides I actually don't know as I beat Marinette back thanks to Mage sending me back with his magic but the plan is simple." Mullo said. "We're going to pair with members of your class as dictated by Marinette's Quirk as that will reveal our best partners, with at least 3 exceptions due to the numbers discrepancy, and if able during the coming battle you can transform to fight the villains. Mage is working on the covers for the rest of the class to avoid issues with the HPSC so the only thing will be transforming in secret."

"Which Marinette is an expert on." Toru said as she got into bed and laid down. "Alright then, we should…"

Before Toru could finish her sentence, and pretty much as soon as her head hit the pillow, the fatigue and emotional drain of the day hit her and she was asleep without even pulling the covers back over her. Mullo just smiled and flew down to make sure that Toru was under the covers before she flew to the light switch and turned off the lights. Then she flew back to the bed and snuggled onto the pillow next to her. Tomorrow was going to be a big day for all of them so they needed their rest.

Mineta entered his room after his bath and sighed as he looked around the posters on his walls. Even after the long day that he'd had, the images of a bevy of beautiful naked bombshells on his walls and in the many nudie magazines that he had stacked all around his room soothed him. Then again, his room was a testament to lust and his perverted little heart so it was perfect for him even if only Kaminari and possibly Sero would truly understand the art he had here.

Well, that was their loss as to Mineta his room was just how he liked it. Alas he'd not been able to show any of the girls his room during the room inspection and none had left him personal Valentines Day chocolates with a secret, or not so secret, admire note so none of them had seen it. That was annoying but Mineta couldn't do anything about that as he jumped up onto his bed ready to get out some of his favorite material for a little personal fun time before going to sleep as he'd need it after the day that he'd had.

At least that was his intention until he saw the dark brown, hexagonal, box and note on his bed. It was written in Japanese, as was to be expected, but the kanji, while neat, was far too precise for someone used to writing it. That confused Mineta but he didn't focus on that or else he would have deduced who it was from and been able to temper his hopes before reading the note.

Alas that would not be the case as he was focused on the fact that someone had left him a note and that that someone had to be a girl based on the neatness of the handwriting. That was why he was excited to read the note because he presumed that it was a declaration of love for him.

Naturally, given that the girl was into him and had thus seen his room and the art that it contained, Mineta presumed that his admirer had to be someone as perverted as him so he expected the letter to go into great and lascivious detail on what the girl wanted to do to him. No doubt the box that had accompanied it had something extra special in it for when the met up.

As such Mineta grinned as he began to read the letter ready to see who he'd lose his virginity to and how they'd be doing it all night long as he had several ideas of his own for this girl. That grin fell as he read and realized what the note actually contained though the author was one of the two in his class who actually wasn't a virgin.

Mineta

Over the next few days, in addition to our other training and field work, Adrien and I help you adapt to using the Miraculous.

Mineta, this is one of two Miraculouses whose powers may not transition to combating Quirks as it's a counter to other magic powers apparently but if so it will be very useful. We will test it out later so brace yourself, us girls are going to get a great chance to vent our frustrations at your actions on you as we test to see if this power works on Quirks or not.

Marinette

P.S. your room is vile and the images in here have been seared into my mind. If I could, I'd burn it to the ground but I can't. Seriously, you need professional help, this isn't healthy.

Mineta had tears in his eyes as he finished the note. Partly they were for the fact that it wasn't from a secret admirer who wanted to jump his bones and while it was from a girl it was from the only one who was taken and on top of that the only girl that he was actually afraid of. Partly he was crying because of the trust that Dupain-Cheng had showed him.

However, he didn't care for the post script, Mineta wasn't going to change who he was anyway, and besides right now he cared to see what kwami Marinette had entrusted him with. Even if it was one who's power he couldn't use, the boost alone would be great and Mineta was sure that using it would help get him some ladies when they saw how strong he was with Miraculous powers even if he couldn't admit that that was what was boosting him.

So, grinning, Mineta wiped his eyes and opened the box while noting that there was a strange red mark on the top that he'd missed in his haste to read the note. Inside the box was a small, unconnected, dark blue ring thing with five yellow tipped protrusions on the outer side if the curve.

It was a piece of jewelry that Mineta didn't immediately recognize as he'd never seen one not already in place. However, before he could even begin to figure it out an orb of light shot up from the item and out of the box that proceeded to whizz around his head before forming into a blue kwami with an ox-like appearance complete with horns and a tail.

"Hello, I'm Stompp, the Kwami of Determination." The ox thing said in a male voice as he formed and looked around Mineta's room. "Man, Marinette wasn't wrong when she said that you were a dirty little pervert. Seriously, this is a bit much depraved debauchery Minoru and I've had an ancient Greek holder."

"This is how a room of a teen boy should be." Mineta said defiantly as he glared at the kwami. "Anyway, that's not the point right now."

"Alas it is not; Marinette did warn me that it would be bad but said that it's not relevant and so I should just ignore it, which I agree with as this is nothing I haven't seen in real life before." Stompp said peaking Mineta's interest as he did want a few stories about stuff like this but Stompp continued before he could ask. "You're now my holder, Minoru, which makes you my partner. What do you want to know before we try things out?"

"Yeah there are a few things that I want to know." Mineta said grinning. "Can your power help me peak on the girls? Like does it let me be invisible or something? Dupain-Cheng said that it won't work in relation to Quirks but it's gotta have some use."

"No, no Miraculous has the power of invisibility, at least not directly." Stompp said, he'd had the longest chat when his partner was determined and he could see why already as this human wasn't the most heroic one out there and, as Marinette had predicted, the most likely to abuse a Miraculous power for personal reasons. "Nor can my power help you, not that you should use it for personal reasons anyway. As you noted thanks to Marinette, my power is one that we aren't sure works on Quirks. I believe that that is part of why her Quirk chose you as my partner. That said, we will test to see if my power does work on Quirks because if it can, it will be very useful to you in the coming battle."

"Damn, oh well the boosts that a Miraculous gives are enough to get the ladies to notice me." Mineta said causing Stompp to sigh, he'd really drawn the short straw with his temporary holder. "What is your power then?"

"It's called Resistance and it allows you to be immune to any other abilities in order to achieve your goal, which in this case will be defeating the villains." Stompp explained. "However, we only know that it works on magic, not Quirks. Marinette did say that we will test it and that the girls will get to go first to see if you can resist the power of Quirks. All 7 of them will get a crack at you even if it works because Marinette's not sure if it's power specific, Quirk class specific, or random."

"That, that could hurt." Mineta said.

"Don't worry, with me in the Miraculous you will at least have higher resistance and durability so you'll only be bruised by the attacks." Stompp said. "Now, put my Miraculous on so you can experience the boost before training tomorrow."

"Works for me but…" Mineta said as he picked up the item which instantly turned dark purple and the spikes turned to small purple orbs like his sticky balls as he held it between his right thumb and index finger. "What is this?"

"A nose ring." Stompp said. "In this case it works as a septum piercing."

"Er…but I don't have that piercing." Mineta said knowing what that was from some of the goth alt magazines he had. "And I'm not really the type to wear one."

"It just needs to be there." Stompp said ignoring Mineta's fashion consciousness regarding his Miraculous. "Magic should keep it in place."

"Um…ok." Mineta said as he put it in his nose.

The moment it did there was a click and he let out a yell of pain as a small piece of metal shot out between the ends and through his septum right where the piercing would usually be to hold it in place. Technically it didn't need to do that, it could just stay in with magic, but when Mage was informed who got the Ox Miraculous he reached out with his magic to ensure that it did so. That and if the piercing was real there was no risk of it falling out whenever Mineta inevitably got slapped for something perverted that he'd done.

"Huh, guess it did do that." Stompp said idly as blood ran from Mineta's nose. "Oh well just say my activation phrase and it will be healed."

"And that is?" Mineta asked still wincing in pain.

Stompp told him and Mineta instantly said it. Stompp just smirked as he was sucked into the nose ring ready to see what his perverted new holder would do with his power and hoping that he wouldn't try to use the boosts for peeping or other activities that Mineta was known to engage in.

As the door closed, Mina stretched her arms over her head, her eyes closed and let out a slight moan as she her back cracked from the action. The bath she'd just had with the other girls had been needed after all the hardcore training and hunting down villains that she'd done today, and on top of that Mina had also been working on improving her capoeira moves that really helped incorporate her dancing into her fighting so she'd done a lot of moving over the course of the day.

The Aoyama stuff had been hard to believe and accept but like the rest of her class she'd come around to the truth of Aoyama's betrayal and despite that she was there for him and believed that he could be redeemed. Clearly Aoyama wanted to be and she trusted that he would in the end, especially as he was the key to them forcing the final battle to be conducted on their terms and not All for One's.

Of course, all of that was out of Mina's hands now and she had to trust the pros and police to work out all the fine details of the plan that Mr. Aizawa had laid the groundwork on. Until then, she had to be as ready for the battle to come as she could be. There was of course one thing that she was worried about that she'd not said to anyone just yet but as that issue was currently contained in Jaku having been captured there it was, for the moment, something that Mina didn't have to worry about.

If it did emerge though, both figuratively and literally, well that could be an issue as she'd realized while facing it that it was the same scary monster as the one that she'd directed to the cops in middle school and she was still terrified of that monster. She'd not had to directly confront it thanks to Yao-Momo and her Miraculous power last time but after seeing the images of Jaku she'd recognized Gigantomachia for what he was and was now worried.

That was something that she'd have to deal with if it happened, however. Until then, Mina just had to be ready and see where she would be assigned in the coming war. That meant getting plenty of rest for training and villain hunting the next day so she sat down on her bed to change but as she did a small, dark brown, hexagonal box bounced up and she noticed it, catching it before it hit her bed again. As she did, she noticed a note below it and picked it up to read before opening the box as she was confused. She instantly recognized Marinette's kanji and as she read her smile broadened.

Mina

Mina, given your personality, I'm sure you'll get on great with this kwami. Just don't be too loud when you meet her, that could be annoying when people are trying to sleep. Oh, and please don't use the power inside as it's not one that can be trained or even tested out in a dorm room, thanks.

Marinette

"Oh hell yeah Marinette!" Mina roared with a grin as she put down the note and looked at the box noticing an intricate red design on the lid. "Thank you so much! Let's see which cutie you've trusted me with! I can't wait to use one of these Miraculouses!"

Quickly Mina opened the box and saw an elaborate piece of jewelry that she didn't know the name of but looked like 4 rose gold rings that had matching chains from them to an orange jewel with a large yellow paw on it and then a single rose gold chain to a matching bracelet. It was really fancy and Mina had no idea what it was other than something for her hand given the rings and bracelet parts.

However, before she could do more than process what it was, a small, bright pink, ball of light shot from it and into the air. It proceeded to circled her head a few times at high speed before it came to a stop in front of her and formed into, of all things, a small pink creature with a single set of whiskers from its cheeks and tiger stripes on it.

"Let's cause some havoc Mina!" The kwami said with a roar and a clearly feminine voice as she formed. "I'm Roarr, the Kwami of Elation!"

"Sweet and you're so cute!" Mina squealed almost as loudly as Roarr glad that she didn't have a direct neighbor due to how few girls were in the class. "What are you? I can't tell but I love that color!"

"I see that you too like pink, Marinette said that your hero name is Pinky but this is even better." Roar said as she looked around the room and nodded in approval of the décor. "And I'm the tiger kwami. Yeah it's a bit confusing but oh well."

"Yeah I'm not going to question it though I can see the tiger aspects." Mina said as she pulled the item on noting that it turned into a set of four hot pink fingertip talons rather than rings that had aqua green chains down the back of her hand before converging on a bright pink gemstone that then had another green chain to a thick pink bracelet. "Woah, what happened? I don't mind, it looks cool and totally me but I didn't expect this."

"Oh that, that's the camouflage feature that all Miraculouses have, it's so that people don't realize what it is." Roarr said. "Though these days no one knows what a Miraculous is so it's a bit redundant but whatever, it looks good on you."

"I'll say!" Mina agreed as she held her hand out and examined the Miraculous. "Can we try it out? Please? Ever since I learned the whole truth I've wanted to see what this is like, plus Yao-Momo looks so cool with it and I won't lie, I've been jealous of her."

"Ha, you're rearing to go I see." Roar said grinning. "We're going to get on great Mina, I know it! I'll explain everything later, just don't use my power inside, it's not as destructive as Plagg's but it can be very destructive."

"No sweat, I'll hold off on that until training tomorrow." Mina said, she may be excited but Marinette had warned her in the note and she was going to respect that warning. "For now I want to see what it's like to use one. We're going to defeat so many villains together Roarr!"

"That's what I like to hear." Roarr said. "So to activate my Miraculous, just say 'Roar, Stripes On.'"

"Got it." Mina said as she leapt up and took what she felt was a super cool pose holding the back of her hand out and in front of her face though sideways and with her fingers splayed as she added. "Roarr, Stripes On!"

"Here we goooooo!" Roarr shouted happily as she was sucked into the Miraculous and Mina began to change.

Ochaco was beat. Like everyone, she'd had a long and emotional day but unlike most of them she'd had the added factor of being one of the few in the class with a specific, known, task in the coming battle. That task was of course to face, defeat, and hopefully capture Himiko Toga, one of the top lieutenants to All for One and Shigaraki and a real piece of work. Between her unstable mental state, personal beliefs, awakened Quirk, and battle talents she was one of the toughest they'd have to face but Ochaco was the best to do so having tangled with her twice and so she understood Toga the best.

However, there was more to it and Ochaco knew it. No one else really did but there was only one person who she could talk to about it however she had yet to find the right moment to do so. She also had something else she should probably talk to that person about but she needed advice on that front from someone else and she'd get that advice when she had the time for that as well. After that she'd find a way to talk to him about everything.

Until then, though, Ochaco just had to train and train hard. She was going to have one of the toughest battles in the class, that while not as physically tough when compared to the ones Deku and Todoroki would be having, it was going to be mentally tough given everything going on with her and the major similarity that she shared with Toga.

Ochaco had to be ready for that and focus her mind on what she needed to say to Toga when she saw the older girl again. That was why she almost sat on the box as she sat down on her bed to finish getting ready for it after her bath as her mind was still lost in thought on this front.

What prevented her from doing so was the sound of crinkling paper as she sat on that instead of the box. That got her attention and she turned to see a dark brown, hexagonal, box with a strange red marking on its lid resting against her leg and a sheet of white paper under her bottom.

With a slight shift, Ochaco picked up the box and put it in her lap and pulled out the paper from under her. At first she thought, and partially hoped, that it was from Deku and was something to focus her mind on the coming war, that was the kind of thing that he'd at least say to her even if leaving a note for her wasn't really his thing, but as Ochaco read and recognized Marinette's hand, she realized that it wasn't encouragement from Deku but that it was something almost as good.

Ochaco

Ochaco, this Miraculous was last used by a dear Japanese friend of mine just like you are, though at least you're not a rival for Adrien like Kagami was, so it means a lot that my Quick chose you as this kwami's ideal partner. However, be careful, this is the Miraculous whose power is hardest to explain away as a Quirk as it's actually a tri-partite power so it might be hard to use it. If you get the chance that is as I know what your mission is and I'm here if you need to talk about it.

Marinette

"Th, thank you Marinette, I will talk to you but about something else and not Toga." Ochaco said touched by the trust her friend, and the person she looked up to amongst the class's girls and almost as much as she looked up to Deku, had put in her as she picked up the box and opened it. "I don't know if I can use this given the focus that I'll have on Toga but I'll keep it on me just in case."

As she'd finished speaking, the lid came off the box and Ochaco saw a black choker with a single black bead in the center and 5 vertical red lines on it. She knew what the 5 meant and that all Miraculouses had something similar on them to count down the time remaining before it was forcibly deactivated, at least Marinette, Adrien, and Yaoyorozu's had been like that apparently, but that was about it.

However, Ochaco didn't have time to contemplate anything else as almost as soon as she registered what the Miraculous was jewelry wise, a bright light shot up and around her room for a few seconds before it stopped in front of her. It then formed into a bright red creature with several horns that were a darker red, a longer one that was striped dark and normal red, a tail, and whiskers.

"Greetings young lady and good evening to you." The kwami said in an oddly masculine voice despite, and unbeknownst to Ochaco, having a female personality and pronouns, all while Ochaco tried to figure out just what creature the kwami was based off as she'd seen Kaalki, Plagg, and Tikki so could identify them but this one was a total mystery to her. "Fear not, I am Longg, the Dragon Kwami. It is a pleasure to meet you Ochaco. I am also the Kwami of Perfection by the way."

"Oh a dragon, huh you don't look anything like Ryukyu." Ochaco said blinking as she processed the oddly formal kwami before her. "Sorry, that's kinda my current reference for dragons."

"No worries, dragons are mythical creatures with many variants depending on which mythos they come from, though they were once very real creatures I assure you." Longg said. "But I am aware of the Ryukyu in this age as I looked into her when I heard that there was a hero with that name in Japan as well. For context, her dragon form is similar to the western ones you see in folklore from places like Britain. I am more in line with the Chinese style I guess and like your Ryukyu, my last holder used that name too."

"Come again?" Ochaco asked confused. "Your last holder? Marinette's Japanese friend? Kagami, right?"

"Correct, that was Kagami's hero name when she was paired with me in Paris though we only worked together once, the day that she and Marinette became friends." Longg said with a nod and not adding that it would be the end of that day, the picture that Marinette had taken of them, that would ultimately be how Momo found out that Marinette and Adrien weren't from their time period. "She was a noble woman who partnered with me to help her mother when she was akumatized by Hawk Moth. I can see that you too are a noble woman."

"Well I'm actually very poor." Ochaco admitted. "So I'm not noble at all and besides, other than the Emperor, Japan doesn't really have a nobility anymore."

"Ah no I mean noble of heart." Longg said clarifying herself to Ochaco. "And Marinette has entrusted me to you for the coming battle so that alone tells me that you are noble. Also, Marinette explained who you were to me when she knew that you would be my new holder and therefore I am aware that you've got a specific battle that you must undertake, one that I may not be able to help with but given my power that is perhaps why I was paired with you. Regardless, I shall be by your side for this just in case and we should practice."

"I see, yes I must confront Toga on my own and as myself, not a Miraculous holder." Ochaco said with a bow of her head. "But to have some backup will be nice as I may still need your help some point. I am grateful that Marinette trusted me with you."

"As am I." Longg said with a smile. "So please, put my Miraculous on so that I'm there if you need me."

"Right and as it's a choker I can wear it under my outfit I think, or over it if need be." Ochaco said as she picked it up and the bead turned from black and red to swirl of hot pink and green, a dark green like a certain boy's hair color which caused her to blush at the implication as she put it on. "I, I don't think that I should activate it just yet if that's ok with you."

"Of course, but should you need to just say 'Longg, Bring the Storm!" Longg said. "So long as you know that then you'll be fine."

"Thanks." Ochaco said as she put the choker on. "By the way what is your power? Marinette said it was tri-partite but what does that mean?"

"Ah well with me you have the ability to turn into one of three elements, those elements being water, wind, and lightning." Longg said. "I understand that in the day of Quirks this can be a bit of an issue as that would come off as three powers in one."

"Yes it can be." Ochaco said realizing what the issue that Marinette had mentioned was. "And while two could be explained, Todoroki is an example of that, three is harder. However, it's interesting and I need a bit of a distraction so please tell me more about them. Unlike the others I presume I won't get this chance so I'd like to know more."

"Of course let us start with wind." Longg said. "When using that you can…"

At that Longg began to explain how Miraculous worked and what its tool was before going into how Marinette selected who got which Miraculous and her plan. Ochaco listened as she first got ready for bed and then got into it.

Ochaco had her own focus for the coming war of course, but this was good to know and Longg was glad to explain it as Kagami had been a bit hasty when he'd paired with her. Ochaco didn't really hear most of it though as she fell asleep almost as soon as she was in bed but it was still useful to have and she was unaware of just what role Longg would end up playing in her coming battle with Himiko Toga.

Sato got back to his room just as the timer on his oven went off. As soon as it did he dropped the towel and shower bag that he was holding following his bath and rushed to the oven. He'd forgotten that he'd put something in to bake after dinner so that he could have a last bit of sugar before bed and he was glad that he'd managed to get back right in time so it didn't burn.

With a practiced speed, Sato turned the oven off, pulled on his oven gloves, and pulled out the cake from inside. He then set it on the side to cool as the aroma from it filled the air and he closed the oven and looked around.

Usually he'd add icing or frosting but he didn't have that right now and with all the training and focus on the coming battle his main focus with his baking was the sugar content and not presentation at the moment. Yes frosting had a lot of sugar but he'd use what he could get his hands on and he was pretty sure that he had some powder sugar on his desk that he could sprinkle over the top of it to boost the sugar content.

Sato would need that as he wanted to be as strong and as ready as possible for the coming battle. Learning of Aoyama's betrayal had been a shock to him but like his classmates he stood by Aoyama and his redemption. Sato knew that Aoyama would come through and help them force the League of Villains out of hiding and onto a battlefield of their choosing so for now her was focused on training as much as possible, which included the hunting down of wanted villains and protecting the remaining citizens not in shelters or making their way to shelters. All that was why he was going for his sugar.

It was as he reached his desk that Sato saw the small, dark brown, hexagonal box on it desk with a note next to it and a small bag of macaroons on the note and by his bag of powdered sugar. That alone told him who'd written it and as someone who both liked sweets and could bake, well, Sato couldn't deny that no one did macaroons better than Marinette Dupain-Cheng but then again she was from a family of renowned bakers. Picking up the bag and opening it to try one of the macaroons and noting that it was both really good and high in sugar without the sugar overpowering the flavor, Sato read the note.

Sato

Sato, this is one of the most useful Miraculouses from the box due to it's power but remember that with its power only you will remember what happens during the time from when you mark it and actively use it so use it wisely. I should mention that there was a different one that I thought was better but I was wrong there as my Quirk showed that Mineta was better for that one and honestly given the power of this Miraculous, I wholeheartedly agree.

Marinette

P.S. the macaroons are for your Quirk and I used a good amount of my remaining sugar to make them. I figured you'd need as much as possible to help out for the coming battle and I was already making some for the class tomorrow so I made a few high sugar extras."

"Doesn't surprise me, she wasn't with us earlier so I guess she was sorting all this out." Sato muttered as he finished the note and the bag of macaroons. "Thanks Dupain-Cheng, for all of this."

Sato meant it. He'd gotten to know the French girl more than most of the guys in his class, minus her boyfriend of course, because she was his baking sensei and training him to be better when it came to making his sweets though he could never match her talents. He really admired her not just as a baker but as a leader in the class so it meant a lot that she'd trusted him and he smiled as he picked up a tissue to wipe off his hands before he opened the box though he didn't pick it up from his desk.

Inside was a jade green bracelet that looked like it had a snake head on it as it coiled around with a yellow tongue out of the snake's mouth as if it was hissing though for some reason, and Sato's memory told him that the reason was important, the tongue was clearly broken up into with 5 segments. That was all that Sato saw though as a matching orb of light shot up from the bracelet and flew around him before forming into a kwami that looked like a hooded cobra only teal green with darker green markings on its head and tail, and, well, a kwami.

"Hello Rikido Sato, I am Sass the Kwami of Intuition." The kwami said in a male voice, the s coming out in a hiss that showed his forked tongue which added to Sass's snake-like nature. "It is a pleasure to be paired with you I hope…oh what is that smell? It's very good."

"Huh?" Sato said before realizing. "Oh right, that's my cake. I put it in the oven after dinner to bake during my bath and it just got done. It's cooling now and I was just about to add some extra sugar to it."

"Mhm, judging by the smell I can tell that you've studied under Marinette." Sass said as he flew around and towards the cake. "May I have some, please?"

"Oh of course." Sato said moving looking over as he picked up the bracelet and noticed that for some reason it turned into a simple orange metal band that he could easily slip onto his wrist though he kept it in his hand. "It's not as good as what Dupain-Cheng can make but thanks to her I've gotten a lot better. I was initially self-taught and according to her pretty good. She even said that I had a talent for it."

"Yes, she mentioned that you could bake when her Quirk revealed that you were my ideal partner but not that she'd helped improve your skill." Sass said as he took he broke off a piece of the cake and took a bite. "Hmmm, it's very sugary. Tikki would really like this I think and it's nice but I'm not sure I can eat a lot of it."

"Sorry, it's for my Quirk you see." Sato said rubbing the back of his neck. "I convert sugar to strength so I need to eat a lot of it."

"Yes, Marinette explained your Quirk when she realized that hers had made a replica of your oven and knew that it was from your room." Sass said. "Best to keep this from Tikki, she's got a real big sweet tooth. You should have seen what happened when humans invented chocolate and she got a taste. It, it wasn't pretty."

"Um ok." Sato said not knowing what to say though he had met Dupain-Cheng's kwami back during the reveal and thankfully he remembered the last part of Dupain-Cheng's note so he shifted the conversation to that instead. "Um, Sass, Dupain-Cheng said that she thought that I'd get a different Miraculous, what's that about?"

"Hmm, oh right that." Sass said turning back to Sato a few crumbs around his mouth. "Well that's more because you would probably suit the Ox Miraculous better, something I too would have presumed, but Lucky Charm decided that a different classmate would be better for that and Lucky Charm is never wrong in things like this. After Marinette described who her Quirk had selected for the Ox Miraculous I agreed that he was certainly one who would not be well suited for Second Chance while many of the other kwamis also agreed that a man with his, um, perverted proclivities wouldn't be well suited for their powers either. Stompp's is honestly one of the few that does suit him I believe."

"She did say that Mineta was who got the Miraculous she thought I'd get and unfortunately I can see him using his power for, um, less than heroic pursuits." Sato said though Sass's statement led to another question that he had to ask. "Is your power really that strong?"

"Yes because I grant my holder the ability to mark a point in time that we can return to within 5 minutes of the mark being placed." Sass said causing Sato to blink at the explanation. "Yes, my power is time based and strong but if, and again I'm quoting Marinette when she realized that the power of the Ox was best for him, a perverted little gremlin got his hands on my power then it would be bad. This is especially true because only my holder, though hopefully Mage as well, would know what happened in that 5 minutes before time rewound to a second chance."

"Ah I see, yes Mineta is not suited for that at all." Sato said though he was still surprised that he had been given such a power. "I'm honored to be trusted with it."

"You are a friend and classmate of Marinette's and Adrien has spoken of you often as I lived in his room when we moved in and he speaks of his new friends a lot." Sass said though he didn't add that he often smelt Sato's baked goods and was glad that he got to taste them now. "So I know that I can trust you. I am also the kwami who is the most knowledgeable out of all the kwamis currently in Japan so I can answer any questions that you might have."

"Oh I have a lot but, um, it is late so I should get to sleep." Sato said as he put the bracelet on noting that it easily slipped on and then tightened to be comfortable while not being too tight or at risk of falling off. "But I do want to see what this transformation is like if that's ok?"

"Of course, Marinette expected most of you to try it out tonight before we train tomorrow and I won't lie, I am curious as to see what kind of proportional strength boost a Miraculous would give someone with a power-up style Quirk now that we know that Quirks work with our Miraculouses." Sass said. "Just say 'Sass, Scales Slither,' and it will activate."

"Alright." Sato said holding his arm up and clenching his fist. "Sass, Scales Slither!"

Despite the long day of training and emotional revelations regarding Aoyama and his betrayal, Kaminari was smiling as he returned to his room after his bath. He may have been slapped down when he posed his question to Mineta during a break from training before Aoyama's betrayal was discovered but it had been because of that slap down that he'd been the one to realize that Aoyama's situation was an actually a positive for and thus thanks to him they had a plan going forward. Of course the fine details would be up to the pros and police but Kaminari was pleased with himself for his initial contribution to the plan.

It certainly gave him confidence just like when he'd been the lightning rod for the heroes when they attacked the Gunga Mountain Villa which had given them the opening to attack without worrying about that Lightning Villain and that confidence had transitioned into working even harder for the rest of the day. Now it was time for bed though and in the morning Kaminari would repeat the process with his friends and classmates as they continued to gear up for the battle to come.

At least that was his plan until he noticed the dark brown, hexagonal, box with a red design that was on his pillow and an accompanying note with it. That confused him but rather than be suspicious, and like Mineta was doing at that very moment, Kaminari thought that it could be from a girl. Hopefully, it was a love confession with a little gift, perhaps a way to find her. There was of course one girl in particular that Kaminari hoped it was from, the same girl who'd been core to his thoughts at the villa right before he acted, and he quickly made his way to the box and note and picked it up to read it.

His hopes grew as he saw the neatness of the kanji as it implied a girl to him though there was a clear formality and precision to it that was unusual to Kaminari though he didn't put two and two together that it meant that it was written by someone who didn't grow up with kanji and was doing her best to make sure it was readable. No, he was too focused on the note and reading it though almost at once he realized that it wasn't from who he hoped but it was still something that he'd not expected to be trusted with and which would be damned useful.

Kaminari

Kaminari, this is one of the pairing that I expected before my Quirk confirmed it what with how your Quirk works, your artistic abilities, and the nature of this kwami's power. I know that it will come in handy for the coming war.

Marinette

"I'll admit, I was hoping for a confession but this is still nice." Kaminari said as he finished reading it. "Thanks Dupain-Cheng, it means a lot that you trust me, and the rest of us, with these Miraculous things."

Like the rest of the class Kaminari respected the French girl and admired her strength and leadership, though that was it as while she was objectively stunning and that navel piercing that she had was a bit of a contrast to her polite and kind personality, that was all Kaminari felt regarding Dupain-Cheng. Well that and not only was she his bro Agreste's girlfriend and you just don't go there but he still hadn't lived down his loss to her in the Sports Festival even if he didn't remember it.

Admittedly Kaminari knew Agreste better, they chilled a lot since moving into the dorms and played video games and foosball in his room a fair bit though due to his role in the villa raid he'd not joined some of the other guys there before it as he was focused on that, but he still considered Dupain-Cheng a friend as well and clearly she saw the same in him to lend him one of these Miraculouses. He was still a bit fuzzy on the whole magic stuff, not to mention the French couple being from the past and pre advent era, but he pushed that out of his head as he opened the box and looked into it.

Kaminari blinked in confusion at what he saw. Inside was a pair of what looked like curled black and silver horns with the black being in 5 segments, which Kaminari was certain had to do with the Miraculouses but couldn't remember what exactly, but other than that he had no clue what they were. He recalled that Dupain-Cheng had said that the Miraculouses were items of jewelry or at least something you could wear like glasses, she'd shown that when she'd lifted her shirt enough to reveal her navel piercing as that was her Miraculous, but these things were unidentifiable to Kaminari.

Of course he didn't have time to examine them further as a ball of light shot out of the horns and into the air before it whizzed around him a few times and then stopping in front of his face and forming into one of the kwamis that Kaminari had heard about though it was not one of the few which he'd met. This one was mostly white but for black in its ears, arms, legs, sides, and around its right eye with a pair of stubby horns on its head. Honestly, Kaminari had no clue what animal this was meant to be.

"Hello Denki Kaminari, I am Ziggy, the Kwami of Passion." The kwami said as it blinked its eyes open at him, its voice clearly feminine. "It is nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too." Kaminari said blinking back at the kwami, Ziggy apparently. "Um, I know it's a bit rude to ask, but, er, what are you? Like I know that you're a kwami and all, Dupain-Cheng and Agreste explained what you are and I've met Plagg, Tikki, and Kaalki, so I can recognize that you are one but, er, I don't know what animal you represent."

"Right, you may not recognize it." Ziggy said smiling. "I'm the Goat Kwami and my Miraculous is therefore the Goat Miraculous."

"I see, yeah not an animal I'm familiar with so it wasn't as easy as say Kaalki as I've seen plenty of images of horses in my life." Kaminari said though he should have probably deduced it as apparently many of the kwamis were based off the 12 animals of the Chinese zodiac. "Speaking of Miraculouses, what's yours? It's not earrings is it?"

"No, the only earrings were the Ladybug Miraculous but that changed to a navel piercing while the only other miraculous that is a piercing is the Ox Miraculous and that is a septum piercing." Ziggy said. "My Miraculous is a set of hair clips."

"Hair Clips?" Kaminari asked confused. "I, er, don't really wear those and that's not my style."

"Don't worry about that, they'll change when you take them out of the box and put them on." Ziggy said with a laugh. "And the change will fit your personality and style. The change is to camouflage them so that no one knows that you're wearing a Miraculous. When Marinette used them, she only did so once, they were pink bows."

"Woah that is a radical change but I guess magic can do that." Kaminari said as he looked at the Miraculous in the box he was holding. "Because that's the only explanation that I can think for this short of a really strong Quirk and that would likely require physical contact."

"That it can." Ziggy confirmed. "Magic that is, a Quirk likely wouldn't do anything to a Miraculous seeing as they are forged by magic."

"Well then let's see what they are for me." Kaminari said as he picked them up and the moment he did they turned into a pair of sleek, yellow, thunderbolt clips that both fit his style and wouldn't be noticed in his hair. "Oh yeah this is much better for me."

"Marinette did mention that you had an electricity based Quirk that involved absorbing and discharging electricity, including raw lightning apparently." Ziggy said. "Well with my power you'll be able to draw what you need to charge your power. That was why Marinette was pretty confident that I'd be paired with you to the point that I was one of the few predictions that she made and got right."

"Draw?" Kaminari said as he put the hair clips in on either side where they'd work with his hair though he'd have to check in the mirror later and he wasn't aware that they'd turn back to their normal, charged, appearance when he spoke Ziggy's activation phrase. "What do you mean?"

"My power is called Genesis and allows you to use the paint brush that is my Miraculous Tool to create an item that you need to accomplish your goal." Ziggy explained. "And before you ask, it differs from Lucky Charm and Uproar, the latter is the Monkey Kwami Xuppu's power by the way, in that the item is not random but what something you actively have to think about creating as you have to draw it and unlike those two it possesses no magical properties. Well now Lucky Charm is also Quirk so that's a bit different when Marinette uses it as such though it is still Tikki's power as well and Uproar likely won't work on Quirks so yeah my power is different."

"I see." Kaminari said as he processed the information and decided that the best way to fully grasp it was a practical application of it. "Then how about we test this out, how do I activate this like Yao-Momo does."

"I concur and yours is a power we can test out inside without risk, providing the item you draw isn't too big or destructive." Ziggy said. "All you have to do to test it out is say my activation phrase and we're good to go."

"And that is?" Kaminari asked.

Ziggy smiled and gave it to which Kaminari spoke it causing Ziggy to be sucked into her Miraculous and transform Kaminari. This was certainly going to be useful and he already knew what to make with this power as a test of its application because if it worked then Kaminari knew he'd be able to work well with Ziggy in the battle to come.

Like everyone in his class, Ida was tired and drained from the day when he got back to his room after his bath with most of the other guys in the dorm's communal male bath. He did his best not to show it around his classmates but once he was back in his room he allowed himself a little yawn as he made his way to his desk and sat down at it after closing his door of course. Ida wanted to go over a few more things before bed and so was going to sort that out right away.

However, that wouldn't be the case because as soon as he sat down and looked at his desk he noticed a small, dark brown, hexagonal box with a red design on the top sitting on his desk next to a note written in kanji that was a little too precise and careful to be that of someone who'd been writing it for years. There were only a few people that Ida knew who'd not grown up with kanji and a quick skim to the bottom showed Ida that he didn't need to worry as it was from one of those people. With that done he picked the note up and read it carefully.

Ida

Ida, this is one of the two kwami's who's power we're not certain can work on Quirks, well other Quirks as it won't affect yours regardless as you are the holder for the moment. If it can though it would be damned useful and we will certainly be testing it out tomorrow to see if it does work on Quirks. However, if not there are still great advantages to pairing with a kwami and I for one am interested in seeing how your speed his boosted with the aid of a Miraculous seeing as a Miraculous naturally boosts speed as well as strength, durability, stamina, and resistance.

Marinette

"I see, yes if my speed, and stamina for that matter, can be increased then I am certain that I can save more people and help out." Ida said as he finished reading the note and put it down before turning to look at the box. "I appreciate the offer Dupain-Cheng and will take this very seriously. I won't lie though; I am slightly curious as to how all of this works as it is fascinating to learn that magic is real so let's see what you've entrusted me with."

With that Ida opened the box and blinked at the Miraculous in it. The Miraculous was folded in on itself but Ida could make out that it was gold and not a connected ring as the ends of it had inwardly spiraling swirls rather than connecting to form a ring. That was odd but before Ida could take it out to examine it more thoroughly, a golden light shot out of the circlet and zigged around Ida for a few seconds before stopping in front of Ida and forming into a brown monkey kwami that Ida recognized from Agreste's room.

"Ah so you're the Monkey Kwami then." Ida said as he studied the kwami before it could say anything and noting how it was indeed the one he saw in Agreste's room. "I believe you lived in Agreste's room a while back. You were one of the, er, plushies, that he had though I presume that you were all actually kwamis in disguise."

"Yes, Plagg had the idea to pretend to be plushies and we thought it would be fun." The kwami said in a clearly male voice though Ida couldn't tell if the kwami was annoyed or amused at that incident. "But it was Marinette who decided that I'd be paired with you thanks to Lucky Charm, well the Quirk version of it at least."

"Yes she mentioned that in her note and it makes sense seeing as her Quirk allows her to create an item to achieve her goal." Ida said thinking his fingers on his chin. "So obviously she would have used it with the goal in mind to see who your ideal partner was in class and it led her to me, I'd expect no less from someone as capable as she is. I presume she got something that reminded her of me."

"I see you're a man of explanations and understanding, good I do the same." The kwami said with a nod of approval though he did prefer a bit of fun as well which was still to be seen with his new holder. "And for your information it was a set of glasses from your room, as her item that is. She knew it was you right away from that."

"So that's how it works for pairing kwamis, I'm sure Midoriya would be fascinated by all of this and ask a lot more questions but that's enough for me to understand." Ida said before realizing something. "My apologies good kwami but I haven't gotten your name. what is it? Mine's Tenya Ida by the way."

"I know, Marinette said who our partners would be Tenya but you are right that you don't know my name yet." The kwami said and Ida was surprised that he'd used Ida's first name. "As you noted, I am the Monkey Kwami, Xuppu. Also, in case you're wondering, I am the Kwami of Derision."

"Derision?" Ida asked. "As in contemptuous ridicule or mockery?"

"That is the dictionary definition of it, yes." Xuppu said with a nod. "Well done, I don't have to explain it."

"Not what derision is but if I can ask a few questions for my own edification that would be much appreciated." Ida said. "As I'd like to understand why you're known as the Kwami of Derision and learn more about you and your powers."

"Of course." Xuppu said. "Ask away."

"Firstly, what is your Miraculous?" Ida asked as he glanced down into the box. "I know that Agreste's is his ring, Dupain-Cheng's her, er, navel piercing, and Yaoyorozu's her glasses but with the folds I can't tell exactly what this is as it's too big for a bracelet but doesn't connect so likely not a choker but beyond that I'm a bit confused as to what kind of item it exactly is."

"Good eye, it's folded up like that, and you won't notice it when it's unfolded, because it's a circlet." Xuppu said. "You know, a thing you wear around your head."

"I am aware of what one is and this is fitting because if I recall the Monkey King in Chinese mythology was given one to tame him." Ida said thinking some more. "And you are of Chinese origin if I recall."

"That would be correct on both fronts." Xuppu said. "Though as many of those old myths are actually real that did actually happen but that's besides the point right now."

"Agreed so I'll move onto my next question." Ida said not wanting to get sidetracked at all. "What does Dupain-Cheng mean by your power might not work on Quirks? If you could thoroughly explain why that is the case that would be nice."

"Naturally, thank you for asking." Xuppu said. "My power is called Uproar and it allows my holder, when paired with me in my Miraculous, to create an item that will disrupt the magical powers of any other Miraculous. For example, if Nooroo's holder was to akumatize someone and turn them into a villain as Hawk Moth did when he used Nooroo's power for evil back in the day, my power would create an item that you can throw at that person and hit them with it to throw off whatever their villain power was. The effects vary but can include causing it to go haywire or changing it to something ineffective."

"Ah I see and because your power only works on magical powers it might not work on Quirks." Ida said getting it now. "But we don't know that it won't work on Quirks as well hence the testing especially because if it does work on Quirks then that could be a huge advantage to us."

"Bingo." Xuppu said. "There are other factors to consider if it does work on Quirks such as whether it has to hit what the Quirk made if it is an emitter class, does it have to hit the Quirk Factor, or can it just hit someone's body to work. A lot to test out."

"Again that makes sense but what about the item itself?" Ida asked agreeing with Xuppu's testing methods and appreciating how thorough it was. "Is it decided by the holder is it completely random?"

"It's random just like Lucky Charm, more so actually as the Ladybug Miraculous user can have some say if he or she knows what will work though Marinette's mind doesn't work like that so for her it was always random." Xuppu said. "My item, by contrast, will be random and it has the singular purpose of disrupting the power of someone else rather than accomplishing a goal like Lucky Charm. To contrast another creation based power, Ziggy's power allows the holder to create an item that he or she wants but the holder has to know exactly what the item is to create it and it lacks any special properties like the Miraculous Cure that Lucky Charm has."

"Naturally, there has to be differences between the powers after all." Ida said with a nod. "Thank you, this has been most helpful. We will thoroughly test all of this out tomorrow and that is when we will pair up Xuppu but there is no need to do so tonight. Regardless, I am certainly keen to see how much faster you make me and for how long I can run with a Miraculous active if nothing else."

"Marinette did say that you were all about the importance of speed." Xuppu said. "But as a holder you should put my Miraculous on now, once lent it should be worn so that you always know where it is."

"Yes, that is a fair point." Ida said and with that he lifted the circlet out of the box and it expanded to its full size and Ida noted that there were five darker gold bands on the back of it right before the circlet flashed and turned into a simple white headband that would be worn around Ida's head and not only matched his armor but felt like it as well. "Magical camouflage? That is a useful feature as the circlet wasn't my style at all."

"Of course, you can't go around wearing a golden circlet now can you, that would just look stupid in this day and age." Xuppu said. "So a Miraculous turns into something that fits your style and personality."

"Well this does work, clever." Ida said as he put it on and noted that it adjusted itself to fit him properly. "Now, I have some work to do. If you wish to help you can if not then feel free to rest Xuppu but don't distract me."

"Yeah work's not for me but I'll look around your room." Xuppu said as he flew away to examine Ida's room while he worked. "If you need to ask anything, do."

Ida nodded again before he turned his attention back to his work. He wanted to be as ready as possible for what was to come but he wasn't going to lie, he was looking forward to tomorrow to see what it would be like to use a Miraculous and hoped that the benefits it granted would make him a better, faster, hero.

Like the rest of the class, Ojiro was beat when he got back to his room after his bath and was more than ready for bed, so much so that as soon as his door closed behind him he stopped keeping his tail up and let it fall to the ground and dragged it as he moved to his bed. All Ojiro wanted in that moment was to sleep even if he was going to be sore in the morning.

The reason for this was simple, his intense training had included a serious session with Miss Wu to end the day. this was after they got back from hunting down villains so Ojiro's day had been extra long but the training was needed and Miss Wu was a very good teacher.

That said, it was still a bit hard for Ojiro to really process that she was over 200 years old given that she only looked to be in her early to mid-20s. She was similar in a lot of ways to Dupain-Cheng and Agreste in that she was born around the same time that they were in the age before Quirks and had had her magical powers, in her case something called the Prodigious, made into her Quirk years later but that was the case with Miss Wu. In addition, she was a pseudo immortal due to her allegiance with the Guardians though that part went well over Ojiro's head.

Honestly, that whole pseudo immortal thing had been harder to process then what had been revealed during the period Midoriya was away. However, there was one thing that had convinced Ojiro that it was the truth, her martial prowess.

Miss Wu was on a level of unarmed combat that Ojiro had never seen before and the only way for her to have mastered all the forms of the many different martial arts that she'd mastered was to have lived more than one lifetime and maintained peak fitness the entire time. What blew Ojiro's mind, though, was that Miss Wu admitted that she paled in comparison to one of the Guardians whose weapon of choice was his body.

It was a lot to take in but Ojiro had accepted it just like he'd accepted the news of the French pair's history, the fact that magic was indeed real, the true nature Midoriya's Quirk, and now Aoyama's betrayal and history as well. Plus he couldn't really complain about it as he'd benefitted from Miss Wu's knowledge and skills. Hell, she could even help train his tail moves by using her monkey form to some extent. So, even though he was sore, Ojiro would keep it up so that he was as strong as he could be for the coming battle.

That of course included sleep and he was ready for that as he got to his bed but as he did he saw a small, dark brown box that was in a hexagonal shape and had a red marking on it resting in the center of his bed with a note next to it. A small, subconscious, part of his mind hoped that it was from a specific girl in his class but Ojiro was still unaware of how he truly felt for said girl so he didn't really notice that as he bent down and picked up the note. Any thoughts about that were washed away anyway as soon as he read the note, his eyes going wide at what he read.

Ojiro

Ojiro, I know that you're often seen as normal but as a hero you are far from normal. The kwami and his power that he will give you will only increase that fact. Once you've gotten used to the power, I suggest chatting with Midoriya for advice on what to do with it as his hero knowledge could be vital for how you apply this power in battle. The same applies to Shoji and Tokoyami to some extent but I think this power is the best served with his knowledge.

Marinette

P.S. Fei is really excited about your next training session by the way as she's in the know that most of the class will be Miraculous Holders. She can't wait to spar with you while you use a Miraculous so she can go all out against you.

Ojiro blinked as he read the note and blanched a bit at the post script. Sure, he was friends with Dupain-Cheng and even trained with her in hand to hand combat from time to time though that was mainly to help her improve and make good use of her enhanced strength, but he wouldn't call them close. In fact he was closer with Agreste of the two French transfers as they were guys so spent more time together and had been training with him longer. Still, this was a big sign of trust and Ojiro wasn't going to abuse or let it down. That and her words were really kind as he'd always seen himself as normal.

"Thanks Dupain-Cheng." Ojiro said with a smile as he opened the box and looked inside it. "Er…what is this?"

Inside the box was something that Ojiro had never seen before. The item, which he presumed was some form of jewelry or accessory based on what Dupain-Cheng had said regarding the Miraculouses, looked like a segmented claw or talon complete with the top part being pointed. Additionally it was bright orange with 5 red lines on the back of it that had to be the time limit countdown that Dupain-Cheng had mentioned when she'd revealed what the Miraculouses were to the class.

That was all that Ojiro managed to notice though before a ball of light shot up from it and around his head for a few seconds causing him to watch it. After a moment it came to a stop before him and formed into the shape of an orange kwami with a darker orange crest and tail thing that had a clear bird theme to it and thus added to the whole talon-like aspect of the Miraculous in the box. Ojiro didn't recognize what the animal was but he did recognize its appearance as he'd seen it in Agreste's room a few times as one of his exclusive 'plushies' but which he now knew were actually sentient magical beings.

"Hello Mashiro Ojiro." The kwami said in a male voice surprising Ojiro in knowing his name though presumably that was because Dupain-Cheng had told the kwami it when she'd determined that he'd be this kwami's partner. "I am Orikko, the Kwami of Pretension. It's nice to meet you, I look forward to playing with you."

"Oh, um, hello." Ojiro said blinking not sure what to say to that so he just asked the question that would confirm his theory. "How do you know my name?"

"Ah yes that." Orikko said. "Well when Marinette used her Quirk to find out who my ideal partner was in her class, it recreated something from your room, which took a moment for her to realize that it was your room as she's only been here once so didn't remember it well, and from that she told me all about you. It was the same for all of us kwamis, that way we knew who we were being paired with though of course Adrien has already told me plenty about you so I already knew a lot once Marinette told me that you'd be my partner as he likes to talk about all his friends and we listened, well the male kwamis did as we were in his room. The female ones were with Marinette of course."

"Huh, ok, I guess that makes sense." Ojiro said as his theory was confirmed and then some. "You should know who you're being paired with."

"Precisely, Mashiro, it speeds things up and gives us time to prepare with our new holders." Orikko said. "And in case you're wondering, the bond between a kwami and his holder is such that, culturally, I can use your first name. That and Kaalki kinda set a precedent using her holder's first name so we all decided to do that for our new holders as well."

"Right, I guess that makes sense." Ojiro said. "I don't mind it if that's the case."

"Good to know." Orikko said. "And if you have any other questions I can answer them if you want."

"Yeah, I've got a few." Ojiro admitted. "Mainly, what creature are you based off and what exactly is your Miraculous, item wise I know what they are thanks to what Dupain-Cheng and Agreste told us after Midoriya left."

"I am the Rooster Kwami." Orikko said and as soon as he did Ojiro saw it though he did note that it wasn't as clear as Kaalki was. "And my Miraculous is a thumb ring, just put it on and it will change to camouflage itself as you can't go around displaying a Miraculous to the world now can you? Well, in this era you probably could as I doubt many know what it is but still, it's not really your style so the camouflage will help there."

"That explains the style and as you're the Rooster Kwami why it's got a claw-like design." Ojiro said picking up and examining it. "And answers a question that I didn't have because you're right Orikko, this isn't my style at all but if it camouflages itself then that's good."

With that Ojiro put the ring on his right thumb and it instantly changed into a segmented thumb cap that looked like tape and was something that a martial artist like Ojiro would actually use to protected or bind his thumb so it wasn't out of place on him at all. He blinked at how drastic the change was.

"Woah, that's, um, well…" Ojiro said.

"Magic?" Orikko asked and Ojiro nodded as that was the only explanation he could think of for the change. "Pretty much. Next you've got to try it out so that you can be ready for tomorrow's training most of you will need to get used to using a Miraculous. Marinette mentioned you're a martial artist, I think her friend Fei is looking forward to going all out against you now that you are a Miraculous Holder."

"Dupain-Cheng did mention that and I always did feel like Miss Wu was holding something back when we spared." Ojiro admitted and he wouldn't lie, he was looking forward to seeing how the boost helped his martial arts. "Alright, how's this done."

Orikko smiled and told Ojiro his activation phrase which Ojiro repeated causing Orikko to be sucked into the Rooster Miraculous and transforming Ojiro. This was far from ordinary or normal and Ojiro was going to really show that with Orikko as his kwami.

Koda yawned as he returned to his room. His rabbit Yuwai was currently with his parents in the evacuee area as with all the training and being away from campus hunting down villains he didn't have the time he would have liked so he'd entrusted Yuwai to them for safe keeping. It did mean that his room felt empty without Yuwai but Koda could live with that until the battle was over and they'd won as he knew that Yuwai was safe where he was.

Like Shoji, Koda had a specific focus in the battle to come which was the defense of Central Hospital from the heteromorph forces under Spinner. While Koda had grown up in a city where things were better for people like him who looked different, though unlike most heteromorphs Koda's look was genetics due to his mother while his Quirk was an emitter class one, his mother had faced prejudice over her looks growing up.

As such he understood the bigotry that was directed at people like him and so he'd stand with Shoji against the heteromorphs who'd let that turn them into villains. That and it was the right thing to do, his mother had said that he would one day be like his father and stand up for the people that he cares about just like his father did when his mother was laughed at for being a heteromorph and Koda wasn't going to let his parents down.

That would come though and he was certain that he and Shoji would get special training for their mission but for now he just needed sleep so that he was refreshed and ready to resume training, hunting down villains, and helping civilians tomorrow. Alas, as he reached his bed, that seemed to be on hold as Koda saw a note written in neat, precise, kanji as if the writer was making extra sure it was clear, and a dark brown, hexagonal, box with a red marking on it on top of his bed.

That confused Koda and he picked up the note and began to read it. As he did, his eyes went wide at what he was reading.

Koda

Marinette

Koda would be the first to admit it, he'd never really spoken with Dupain-Cheng. Not because he disliked her, he did see her as a friend and classmate and respected her strength, skills, and leadership, but because he was really shy. Sure, she played with Yuwai like the other girls did and was really good with the bunny, but this was a surprise to him to say the least. He had spoken a bit more with Agreste as the guys did do a fair bit of things together but still he was touched by the gesture and put the note down to pick up the box and opened it.

Inside was a black band that looked like some kind of necklace if Koda had to guess with an orange thing center that was divided by 5 black lines and unconnected at the back. However, the ends were orange and black like the thing in the center with white tips that had a design on it but before Koda could look closer at the design to figure out what it was, an orangish ball of light shot up from the necklace and whizzed around his head and room for a few moments before stopping before him and forming into one of those kwamis that Koda had learned about and had even seen a few of so he could recognize one.

In this case, the kwami was orange with floppy ears, a white muzzle and line between its eyes and down its chest and a small tail. Koda could tell that the kwami was a canine, a dog most likely, but not the breed that it was based off.

"Hi Koji Koda, I'm Barkk, the Kwami of Adoration." The kwami, Barkk, said in a clearly feminine voice as she began to fly around her tail wagging as she did really driving home the whole dog aspect. "Yay, I'm so happy to have a new holder, it's been centuries and now I've got one so we can play ball together. It will be so much fun! Marinette told me all about you when her Quirk recreated your rabbit Yuwai's cage so I know you love animals. Alright, let's get this started. Put on my Miraculous and say 'Barkk, On the Hunt' and we can have fun!"

"H, hello." Koda said in his quiet, nervous voice not sure how to react to the clearly enthusiastic kwami, she really was very dog-like in her personality it seemed. "Good to meet you. I do like animals a lot. My Quirk allows me to speak with them so I've spent a lot of time with animals though it took a while for me to get over my fear of bugs."

"Yay!" Bark said. "Marinette also mentioned that you can be quiet so let's just play and not talk, alright."

"Sure." Koda said with a smile. "But, um, the Miraculous looks a bit small. It's some kind of necklace I think, kinda fitting for the Dog Kwami, but I don't know if it will fit me."

"Huh, oh don't worry, it's magic." Barkk said. "It will adjust to fit you while also changing its appearance so that no one knows that you're wearing a Miraculous. Magic's like that after all."

"O, ok." Koda said as he picked up the necklace and moved it to his neck. "That's good to know."

As he did, he opened it and just as Barkk had said it adjusted to accommodate his large neck and he blinked but didn't question it as he put it on. The moment it was on it turned to a simple yellow band that would blend in with his hero costume though Koda couldn't see it as it was right against his neck so he'd need a mirror to view how it looked on him.

"So all I've gotta do is say Barkk, On the Hunt, and…" Koda said but as soon as the words left his mouth Barkk let out a happy sound and was sucked into the Miraculous before Koda could finish.

Koda hadn't planned on this but he wasn't going to question it as he transformed. There was a lot he had to ask but for now, well, it looked like he was going to learn about this Miraculous by diving into the deep end of it which wasn't like him. oh well, there wasn't anything that he could do about it now and Dupain-Cheng had trusted him with this power so he had to learn how to worked so that he could use it fight the villains should he need it though he was unaware of just how useful Barkk's power would be to the heroes.

Tsu was ready for bed as she returned to her room and sighed as the door closed and she turned to the thermostat in her room to turn up the heat to the perfect temperature for bed. The bath had been nice and she was still warm though that was starting to ebb away due to her cold blood thanks to her Quirk so she needed to make sure that the temperature at the right spot so that she could fall asleep as soon as she hit the bed and remain comfortable all night.

As with the others, she was utterly drained from all the training, the work they put into capturing villains that were still at large, helping civilians, and the emotional reveals of the day. Like the rest, she supported Aoyama's rehabilitation in the wake of his betrayal and knew that he'd come through for them and that they'd be able to face the villains on their terms not the All for One's and so she had to be ready for that.

In fact Tsu had to be even more ready than most as she knew that Ochaco would be facing Himiko Toga and that she'd be there for support in that battle. Her friend would need it given who she was tasked with defeating, Toga's nature and how she understood Ochaco on a personal level it seemed.

Therefore, Tsu would do all she could to make sure that Ochaco was ready for that fight as well as training herself to face the other villains that would no doubt be with Toga when the heroes sprung their trap to break up the villains into smaller groups and who would no doubt try interfere with Ochaco taking her down. As such Tsu was training as hard as she could both at school and in the field and she would continue to do so until that battle came.

Naturally, that meant that she'd need a good night's sleep and Tsu was ready for that but as she reached her bed she saw a box on it that she knew wasn't hers as she didn't own any dark brown hexagonal boxes with strange red markings on them and a note next to it. Said note she instantly recognized as being from Marinette, she'd studied with her friend enough to recognize Marinette's precise kanji that she took time to write as she was still uncertain with it and wanted to make sure that people could read what she'd written, and so Tsu picked the note up without hesitation.

She trusted Marinette implicitly, she was the girls' leader after all and Tsu looked up to her in a lot of ways, so if Marinette needed something then Tsu would help out. As she read though, her eyes went wide at what was on the paper.

Tsu

Tsu, I can't think of a better kwami for you and this was one of the predictions that I made that was correct when I set the goal for this kwami's ideal partner. You are a lot like one of my friends back home who I'd have trusted this too had the need arisen before the incident, only you are more reserved and mature but your kindness and caring for your friends is the same. I know that this power will be perfect for you and that you and your kwami will get on really well.

Marinette

"Oh Marinette, of course I will help you out, ribbit." Tsu said smiling as she set down the note and picked up the box still standing as she'd not sat on her bed to read the note. "Thank you for trusting me. I know this is hard for you after all you've been through and it means a lot that you see us the same way you saw the friends in your old life."

Tsu meant what she'd said as she looked at the box in her hands. When she'd heard Marinette's tale, well hers and Agreste's as they'd been through the same thing, she'd been shocked by it and had instantly been there to support her friends. There was no way that she could truly empathize with them because this was beyond what Tsu could understand but she could at least be emotional support for them. Marinette had been there for her, especially after the whole Kamino thing, and now it was her turn to be there for Marinette and Agreste as well.

It would seem that that included being entrusted with a Miraculous. Tsu understood the magical items as well as she could, she'd asked a lot of questions during their down time between Marinette's reveal and going to rescue Midoriya, and she'd interacted with Tikki and Kaalki a fair bit whenever the girls got together and the two kwamis joined them but to have one of her own to use, that was big and Tsu wasn't going to take this responsibility lightly. She'd make sure that she used this power for good in the coming war.

With that, Tsu opened the box and blinked at what was inside. It was, if Tsu was right in her assessment, a pearl anklet consisting of a magenta chain with light pink beads on it and five matching bell shaped pearls hanging from one side of it with a small wire twirled around each bell as if it was a pig's tail. The pearls also seemed to glow which surprised Tsu but before she could reach for it a light pink ball of energy burst from it and spun around Tsu a few times before stopping in front of her and forming into a pink, pig-like kwami with a flopped down ears, a curled tail, and a dark brown mark over its left eye.

"Aren't you a cutie, ribbit." Tsu said smiling at the kwami that was clearly tied to this Miraculous, the Pig Kwami if she had to guess. "What's your name?"

"I can say the same to you Tsuyu Asui, though I know that you prefer Tsu so I'll stick with that." The kwami said and though it sounded like a girl, it actually had a male personality and used male pronouns not that Tsu knew that. "I'm Daizzi, your kwami. I'm the Kwami of Jubilation."

"Ah I see, that does make sense." Tsu said noting that Daizzi pronounced his name like the flower daisy. "I feel like we'll get along great and yes please do call me Tsu."

"As do I." Daizzi said smiling at Tsu. "Marinette told me all about you and your big heart Tsu, I can't wait to work with you."

"Same, working with that is as I know little about the kwamis." Tsu said smiling back as she pulled out the Miraculous. "But I'd love to learn more about you and while I have questions, I am tired and soon the temperature will get to me and help me sleep so can we discuss this in the morning. I can put the Miraculous on though? Right?"

"Of course, you really should anyway now that you're a holder." Daizzi said with a nod and Tsu smiled as she squatted down like, well, a frog, and put the anklet on her right ankle. "And when you're ready to train just say 'Daizzi, Rejoice.'"

"I will, I am curious as to see what this will be like, but we'll save that for tomorrow." Tsu said as she noted the anklet turned from its usual pattern to a black chain with green beads that matched her costume while the 5 pearls vanished and that was definitely something that Tsu would have to ask about in the morning. "I'm cold blooded after all so I can be a bit temperature dependent though this is much better than the cold for me, ribbit."

"Marinette explained how your Quirk worked when Lucky Charm revealed you as my partner so don't worry." Daizzi said and Tsu smiled at her as she turned off the lights and got into bed. "We can talk about everything in the morning."

Tsu let out a croak of agreement. She had a lot of questions and was keen to see how using a Miraculous was for someone like her but first she needed sleep. She trusted Marinette and her judgement though so she knew that there wouldn't be an issue and come morning she'd be ready for another day of training and hunting down villains only with one additional thing as she, like the rest of Class 1-A minus Aoyama, prepared for the final battle.

"I hope that everyone is getting along with the kwamis." Marinette said nervously as she got into her lofted bed after turning the lights off in her room while Tikki flew up to hover over her face. "I know that this is what Lucky Charm showed but still, I can't help but be nervous about how they'll react to the Miraculouses and the kwamis."

"I know Marinette but they're your friends and fellow heroes, you trust them and so does your Quirk and they trust you in return so it will be fine." Tikki said. "And besides, Lucky Charm wouldn't have created those items if those were not the right partners for the other kwamis."

"True." Marinette said as she yawned, after all the training, using Lucky Charm so many times in a short period of time to sort out the kwamis, and of course the Aoyama shit she was utterly beat. "Well, hopefully they will make a difference in the battle to come. We need…"

"They will." Tikki said as Marinette closed her eyes and fell asleep as she was speaking causing Tikki to smile at her holder. "Just as you will, Marinette, you always do."

With that Tikki flew down and made herself comfortable on the pillow next to Marinette and drifted off to sleep as well. It had been one of the longest days in anyone in Class 1-A's life and had ended with a big surprise for most of them but this was just the start of what was to come.

I think I'll leave this long chapter off here and the big thing is of course the class has kwamis with only a few not getting one for various reasons and one of them not being assigned but there is a reason for that so it's not an error on my part that that kwami wasn't featured in this chapter. I tried to pair them up as best I could and for the most part it worked but some had to be switched around mainly because my initial distribution ended up with Mineta and Sass as the last pair and he'd abuse that power way too much so I swapped a few things round there. Other than that I felt that they work pretty well and time will tell to see who uses what. I know that it's been a long time since I've made an English VA reference in this series but with so few Miraculous characters interacting with MHA ones and the only one of the two who regularly interacts with MHA and who's VA is also in MHA is Adrien's and he voices Yo Shindo it's not come up but Trixx was the same so I couldn't resist a it with Trixx as well. The only other one who I found that had an MHA credit was Sass and Wayzz's VA (same guy) but he only voiced Skeptic in season 5 before leaving the role due to a refusal to work with Crunchyroll and as none of the students know Skeptic there was no need for it. Also, for those confused as I was as well, Trixx's pronouns are he/him so while he's genderless like all kwamis he's got a masculine personality though there was some confusion as early on because if I recall the English referred to Trixx with she/her pronouns while the French used he/him. Officially it's been clarified as the latter. Also, I know that the English has Duusu as female but the French has him as male, something that doesn't seem to have the same clarity as Trixx, but given that Duusu a peacock not a peahen and it's the former that's used to refer to his Miraculous, I've gone for the French not English with him and this was seen earlier in the story as well. Lastly, part of why I didn't describe any transformations is because of space but another reason is for suggestions so if you have outfit ideas for the various members of Class 1-A do suggest them and I'll see if they work or are better than what I have in mind. Lastly, and in case there is any confusion regarding some of the stuff in Pollen's section, remember that the incident occurred before the end of Season 3 and what Chloe did there so she was still the temporary holder of the Bee Miraculous. Anyway, that's all that I have for y'all, however, so I'll leave this long chapter off here. As always, if you like it or have any questions please let me know in reviews or PMs, I will try to answer them as best I could and post any questions asked between uploads at the start of the next chapter and do follow and favorite this, so you are alerted to future uploads. Do keep the reviews coming as I like hearing from y'all as you enjoy my work, it motivates me to keep producing the best work I can for y'all to enjoy. Until next time.
