Hey, long-time no see! How are you guys? Anyway, if you read the title then you know what this is about. If you've been paying attention to anything Dragon Ball related the last two days, then you'll know that something big happened in Dragon Ball Daima.
I haven't talked much about Daima in general when it came to this crossover universe. I was pretty much waiting for the show to end to see if I wanted to bother touching it at all. I've been loving it, but never felt like it was something that I would want to write about.
But after last episode, yeah, I think I will write one. I don't plan for it to be anything groundbreaking or story-altering. It's just gonna be short chapters with mostly fluff and humor where I touch on the plot here and there. The most plot relevant things you'll get are the introduction stuff, the Tamagami fights, and the final battle. There might besome changes to how some events happened or how characters were handled (Degesu being one and maybe Gomah too) but that's the extent.
The main cast of characters will primarily be: Goku, Makima, Glorio, Shin, Neva, Lilith, Fami, Vegeta, Bulma, and Piccolo.
The antagonists are staying the same.
Panzy is a character that I just don't have any real strong feelings about. I get why she exists, but her role as a mechanic is so easily filled by Bulma that it makes her kinda redundant. Her role as being a denizen of the Demon Realm is also filled by Glorio and how he grows while watching Goku's actions. She's kinda just there to be the character who reacts comedically to Goku's mannerisms (Much like how Pan was in GT and Bulma back during OG). I just don't feel like including her in the main cast role, she'll still appear tho.
Why not Yoru? She's still attached to Asa, and I just don't want to use Gohan at all. If I bring those two along then he'll have to be brought too.
What does this mean for the GT story? It'll still happen but it's getting pushed further into the background for now. I still need to straighten out the story (Specifically, it's just the Baby saga that's giving me trouble. Everything else works fine except for Baby).
I also want to know how you guys feel about Dragon Ball Daima. I've seen plenty of opinions raging from love, average, and negative. Me personally? It's a fun show that could have used a few tweaks here and there to make certain aspects run smoother. If you have watched the show, what has been your favorite part of it and what has been your least favorite part?
Will this story be canon to the main story? That highly depends on how Daima ends at this point. We have two or three episodes left, so yeah.
