Here it is, the 157th full chapter of Miraculous Quirks released on schedule. Aoyama's capture, along with his parents, and subsequent revelations have revealed a sudden and unexpected opening for the heroes but can they capitalize on it? Hopefully they can and it's Shota Aizawa who's got the initial plan for how they will go about taking the battle to All for One and luring him out. There's still a lot to work out but that's what discussing is for as the heroes grand plan to win the war begins forming in earnest. Is that all though or is there more? Well, let's find out as that is all the administrative stuff that I have for you, however, and there are no guest reviews that can be responded to or questions to answer so I will end this note here. Do keep the reviews coming as I enjoy hearing from y'all. That is all I have for this pre chapter note so that means that it is time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the 157th full chapter of Miraculous Quirks.
Disclaimer: I do not own either of these great works of fiction.
Chapter 157: Final Battle Plan Outline
"There are many challenges that we face in this war, but one of the biggest is the discrepancy in numbers between the sides." Aizawa said getting straight to the heart of the issue. "We've known for a long time that we're outnumbered, this has been clear since the USJ but what we lack in numbers we make up for in training because one hero is stronger than dozens of gutter punk villains."
"That's always been the case." Tsukauchi said as they all recalled Aizawa's solo fight against the horde of villains in the USJ. "Hero training makes it such that numbers aren't an issue."
"Yes but what we didn't factor in was the Meta Liberation Army." Aizawa said. "They hid for years, decades even, and spent that time training and using their Quirks in secret. Your average dime a dozen villain isn't a threat but they're a fanatical terrorist group that's been preparing for years. We may have caught over 16,929 of them but we know that 132 of the known members are still at large and all of them followed Re-Destro who followed Shigaraki so all will follow All for One now. No doubt they're using the chaos to recruit more to their cause."
"It's closer to 120." Mage said getting everyone's attention. "About a dozen were apprehended by us in international waters. They're being held in a special facility in international waters pending return to Japan once this is over."
"Regardless of the number left, they're not going to be easy to deal with." All Might said though no one was aware of the true fate of those MLA grunts as they'd been the ones who'd murdered Midnight. "Most of their leadership is in prison but enough are out that we can't ignore them or the threat that they pose."
"There's one other factor that the Meta Liberation Army exploited that we've gotta consider as well." Mage said. "Fei and her unit have been gathering intel this entire time and we've discovered something disturbing in the wake of the Paranormal Liberation War, either the MLA or All for One, or both though my money is actually on the latter, have propped Spinner up as a new symbol of sorts against the system and used that to recruit warm bodies for their cause."
"Spinner?" Tsukauchi asked. "As in Shuichi Iguchi, the heteromorph and Stain devotee in the League of Villains. He's one of the lieutenants of their forces that managed to get away if I recall."
"Yes, him, he's become a guiding light for heteromorphs everywhere." Mage said and at that one Class 1-A stiffened as he too had heard about this. "There are a lot of heteromorphs in Japan and many didn't grow up in cities where there is a level of acceptance for those who are different but in the sticks where there is active discrimination against them. Yes groups like the Creature Rejection Clan are no longer active and there is anti-discrimination laws in place but people in the backwoods don't care for that, especially when there are no heroes to help. Besides, some things like discrimination based on looking different just seem inherent to humanity, been that way for millennia it's just changed its face since the advent."
"Mage is correct and that is another factor in the numbers issue that we're dealing with." Aizawa said with a nod from his hospital bed. "The heteromorphs who've lived in the shadows, who've faced persecution and discrimination simply for being born different, they'll be drawn to this fight and All for One because of the change that he promises so that's another army we'll have to contend with. Where that will form and attack we don't know yet but they're a factor to consider as well."
"Actually, I've got a very good idea of where they will strike."
The voice came from Shoji and everyone turned to the tall heteromorph in their class. They were surprised by his sudden input as he wasn't one to talk lightly and even more surprised that he seemed to know something the others didn't. However, all Aizawa did was nod at Shoji to continue.
"I'm a heteromorph and from speaking with the giant woman and several of the other evacuees I've become aware of the heteromorph call to action that you just mentioned." Shoji said. "I wasn't sure how much of it was accurate but hearing Mage's report I am pretty sure that it is. The plan is to storm Central Hospital in retaliation for the prejudices that they've faced with Spinner as their leader. I can't let that slide if I do then I can't call myself a hero."
"I see, given what is at the Central Hospital and All for One's ability to find things out it is a valid target so we should plan for a confrontation here." Aizawa said before looking at Present Mic who was also aware of what, or more precisely who, was being held at Central Hospital. "Mic, I want you here to lead the defense. Can you do that?"
"You don't need to ask." Present Mic said.
"We'll need to plan a strong defense for the hospital then because we don't know the heteromorph numbers." Tsukauchi said before anyone could add to the discussion and bog them down with a sole focus. "Thus adding to the whole disadvantage."
"Correct and on top of all that there are still the jailbreakers from Tartarus and the 6 other prisons that saw breakouts." Aizawa said. "Those are hardened criminals and many of whom will get involved on the side of All for One."
"Not all will." Tsukauchi said surprising them. "Remember, there were 7 prison attacks other than Tartarus but only 6 mass breakouts. The 7th, Mikuzu Prison, was completely stopped by a single inmate and saw no prisoner escapees."
"An inmate stopped one of the breakouts?" Izuku asked surprised. "I didn't know."
"No one did, we kept it quiet as there was a lot going on but yes an inmate by the name of Danjuro Tobita stopped the last one and had all the other prisoners restrained and subdued and was just kneeling and waiting for us to arrive and restore order." Tsukauchi explained. "You actually know him Midoriya."
"I do?" Izuku asked confused now.
"Yes, his villain name was Gentle Criminal." Tsukauchi said looking at Izuku. "You captured him and his accomplish when he tried to infiltrate the School Festival."
"Yeah, I remember him." Izuku said, he'd never forget Gentle Criminal as he was the villain that Izuku understood the most though in the class only Adrien was aware of what had happened as Izuku hadn't mentioned it to anyone else. "So he stopped a breakout, that's good."
"It is, we'll likely use him in this battle as one of the last resort uses." Tsukauchi said. "He showed that he could be of use there and his partner, Manami Aiba is one of the best hackers we've ever encountered. He even said that he wanted to see her and repay his debt when we found him. As much as I don't approve of using criminals, some are reformed and her loyalty to Tobita is unquestioned so if he helps she will also be one of the last resort resources. Plus, she is the best we could get to counter Skeptic, short of getting someone like Technus in for this."
"You know how it is with us, even me being here in this room and offering my advice is pushing international law regarding what the Guardians can do." Mage said as Tsukauchi looked at him. "I can because I'm in charge of the Tokyo office but it's only because of that fact that I can be here, so bringing in the Guardian of Technology is a no go. Still, I'll reach out to him and get him to send some kind of test for this Aiba woman to make sure she's up to scratch. If she can handle that then she can handle someone like Skeptic and I'm pretty sure that I can do this much at least."
"Thank you." Tsukauchi said. "Using inmates isn't something that's ideal but if they're willing to help and are honest about it then we will accept their aid and deal with the fallout afterwards."
"Anything to help is welcome." All Might said thinking of Stain and if the Hero Killer would help him personally or not though All Might had a feeling that Stain would help if he felt that All Might had proved that he was still like he used to be. "Anyway, we can factor those two into the finer details when we get to them. Right now we're working on the main plan. Aizawa, what else do you have?"
"Well, there is a potential way to deal with these numbers but unless we can force them onto a battlefield of our choosing and then surprise them, all that All for One has to do is overwhelm us with them." Aizawa explained. "However, if we can do that then we can forcibly split them up into manageable groups that dedicated teams of heroes can handle. Better yet, we can isolate the various commanders who pose the biggest threats and take them down separately in battles that work to our advantage."
"But sir, there's only one Warp Quirk available to the heroes." Momo said. "She's with the Guardians but not a Guardian so she can fight providing that she's still in Japan, however if I recall she can only create one portal at a time."
"While this Cavaliere woman is going to be useful, though I'd like to meet her first as I know nothing about her other than that she saved countless lives sending Gigantomachia to Jaku before he could reach a city, she's not the only source that we have." Aizawa said unaware that he was in fact talking to Cavaliere as he was not in the know about magic and kwamis. "We have another that we can use and one that can make several Warp Gates at once."
"Hold up, you're talking about Kurogiri." All Might said as something else hit him at the mention of the warp villain. "Right?"
"Shirakumo." Present Mic whispered before looking at his old friend. "Are you sure Eraser? Will he help us in this battle?"
"No, he won't, he's a High End Nomu but he does have some use especially as he was transferred to Central Hospital before the attack on Tartarus so he's still in custody." Aizawa said. "In fact I'm pretty sure that the heteromorphs will attack this hospital because Kurogiri's here so Shoji's information is almost certainly accurate. That's why we'll need to plan the defense of the hospital as we can't let the villains get their hands on Kurogiri but all we need to use his Quirk to our advantage is to have him in our control, which we currently do."
"We do, but how?" Izuku asked. "If he can't help then how can we…oh."
"I see you get it now Midoriya." Aizawa said. "There are a few specific Quirks that are on our side that will be vital in this plan. In this case, we'll use Copy to copy Kurogiri's Warp Gate Quirk and have Monoma use it on the villains when All for One is drawn into the open and we face him."
"That would work." Mage said. "But doesn't Monoma need practice to master a Quirk he copies?"
"He needs some time but that's fine, send him to me here in Central Hospital as soon as we're done and I'll work with him until it's time." Aizawa said. "Not only because Kurogiri is here but when the battle starts we'll need him to be my eyes against Shigaraki. Since my right eye got damaged in Jaku, Erasure just isn't what it was but if Monoma is constantly in contact with my skin we can avoid his time limit and he can be my eyes to hold Shigaraki in check while Manual keeps his eyes watered just as he did for me in Jaku. I presume that the Support Course is busy preparing to handle Shigaraki."
"They've been working nonstop pretty much since Jaku and building off plans I've had for a while now." Nezu confirmed. "They'll have it ready. Shigaraki will have to be sent there alone though."
"Agreed so when the trap is sprung we'll have him sent there and of course Midoriya will go there as well to face him." Aizawa said. "Along with others who can help face Shigaraki."
"I'm going!" Bakugo shouted. "None of you can stop me there, that bastard is mine!"
"I agree, you and Agreste will face Shigaraki while Yaoyorozu has to be in the area creating what we need to keep whatever we're using to contain Shigaraki maintained and operational." Aizawa said not arguing with Bakugo. "Your drive and relationship with Midoriya and Agreste's Quirk and ability to contain Decay are vital in facing him."
"Good." Bakugo said.
"I always knew that I'd face Shigaraki." Adrien said seriously. "I would have volunteered for this otherwise."
"Same." Marinette said. "I should be there as well; Lucky Charm could come in handy."
"No, while Lucky Charm is useful and one of our most powerful weapons given its nature, I don't think that is the best place for you Miss Dupain-Cheng." Nezu said surprising her. "We can't stack our best against Shigaraki, we need to spread you lot out and the heroes we send to back up Midoriya, Bakugo, and Agreste will be enough. We need you ready to handle someone else, All for One."
"The Principal is right Dupain-Cheng." Aizawa said as Marinette blinked in shock at her assignment for the coming battle. "With your Quirk and mind you will be needed to deal with All for One. Not just you, Tokoyami will also be needed."
"Sir?" Tokoyami asked.
"There will be time to explain the final plans once we've determined exact locations and teams as I am still waiting on something to be confirmed but there's one more person we'll need who will be vital to this when it comes to how we can use the Aoyamas to our advantage." Aizawa said. "For now know just know that you should be ready for All for One, same with several other members of the class who don't have specific opponents. However, when we split the villains up some of you will go to specific battles. Todoroki, Uraraka, are you ready?"
"I've been preparing for my brother ever since Jaku." Todoroki said seriously. "I know that I must deal with him and end this once and for all. I will be ready to take on Dabi and bring him to justice."
"I know Toga better than anyone else." Ochaco said clenching her right fist already knowing who she'd have to fight when the final battle came and this just confirmed. "I'll do what I can to stop her. I ask that Tsu be with me."
"Ribbit, of course." Tsu said with a nod.
"Very well, Miss Asui you will be sent with Miss Uraraka and those who are to handle Himeko Toga and any villains that end up being transported with her." Nezu said with a nod. "That just leaves Spinner and his heteromorphs that he'll no doubt be leading. Who should…"
"I will." Shoji said volunteering before Nezu could finish. "Please, this is a fight that I must be a part of."
"I'd like to join him." Koda said in his usual timid voice.
"Good then that's settled." Aizawa said accepting the pair without question. "We will use Aoyama to lure out All for One and his army onto a battlefield of our choosing. Then we will use Monoma to split them up and scatter them all across the country to locations of our choosing where we have the upper hand and take them out in smaller groups that negate their numerical advantages."
"Given the numbers we're going to need several sites and a way to break the army up to ensure that they are sent into the warp gates that Mr. Monoma will create." Nezu said. "There are a lot of fine details that need to be worked out but this is where I excel so I can help there. The Support Course will be hard at work as well."
"I know that there is a lot that we still have to do and not a lot of time to do it in but this is our best plan." Aizawa said. "We'll only get one shot at this; we can't let it slip through our fingers."
"Still there is one thing that we've forgotten." Tsukauchi said, he agreed with the plan but there was still one thing that they couldn't ignore and upon which the whole plan hinged. "How will we overcome All for One knowing that the Aoyama's are lying to him?"
"That is in the works, I just need Mera to give us approval for it." Aizawa said. "However, I am sure that he will agree to it given the advantages that this gives us."
"Very well then." Nezu said already guessing where Aizawa was going with it but not wanting the students to know just yet. "It would seem like we have a general plan. Students, you know what is coming so I suggest that you head out now and continue your preparations as we have a week at most before we execute this plan. While I understand your reservations, for now the Aoyamas will be taken into custody as the final details are worked out."
There were some grumbles from the class but they all understood that the meeting was over. Aoyama's secret, well secrets if you included how he was born Quirkless, were now out and thanks to that they'd found a way to potentially trick All for One into the open and onto a battlefield of their choosing using Aoyama. Course it wasn't that simple but thanks to Mr. Aizawa's plan they had the foundations to build on so now Class 1-A was going to get back to work while the pros and police worked on fine tuning the plan as they left the classroom.
As they did, the officers present went to the Aoyamas and undid the bindings restraining them to the chairs and hauled them to their feet and led them to the door after the kids. They left the sound canceling devices on them until they were out of the room and the door had been closed behind them.
At the same time Mage also slipped out. The help that he could provide was already limited but if he was to try and get around things he'd need to make contact with some of his people right away so he too left though that was just the cover he'd use if he was asked why he'd left as there was something else that he had to do as well and he wanted to sort that out right away.
"Alright, now that the students are gone, what exactly is your plan for getting around All for One's ability to tell if the Aoyamas are lying to him?" Tsukauchi asked once the last of the officers closed the door behind him leaving the room clear save for himself, Nezu, All Might, Ectoplasm, Present Mic, and Aizawa who was still on the screen and it was to the last one of them that Tsukauchi had directed his question. "Because that is still out largest obstacle and right now I have no clue how to get around it. I know Lie Detector Quirks well, they're not easy to fool, and that's almost certainly what All for One is using to tell if they're lying to him or not."
"I agree that it would be hard to get around it and part of why they had to be prevented from hearing the plan was to make sure that they didn't know the details of the plan thus adding another layer of security to the whole thing." Aizawa said. "However, that's only part of it, the other part is that there is a Quirk available to us that can ensure that they are unaware of the fact that they're lying."
"And that is?" Tsukauchi asked as Nezu smiled at guessing correctly though even he was surprised at how far the Quirk had come in such a short amount of time. "I presume you know it well if you have confidence in it."
"I do because I have helped the user train over the last few months to go plus ultra with his Quirk so I know that not only would it ensure that the Aoyamas are unaware that they are lying but it can be used to command them on what exactly they're going to say to All for One." Aizawa said and as he said that the teachers present instantly knew the Quirk in question and why there was an issue with using it. "I am talking about Hitoshi Shinso and his Brainwashing Quirk."
"Yes, it is as I thought when you mentioned that we had a way around lying to All for One." Nezu said with a nod. "I wasn't aware that he'd reached the point of commanding speech once he's brainwashed someone."
"Young Shinso, this is a big ask for him." All Might said his hand on his chin. "And I see the problem that we have."
"Are you sure he's ready Eraser?" Mic asked. "I know that you've been working with him and that's he's been training hard for the transfer, both of them have, but this is a massive step up from normal hero work."
"I am." Aizawa said. "I wouldn't have supported and trained him if he didn't have potential. He can do this, I know it."
"I'm sorry but I'm unaware as to who that is." Tsukauchi said. "He's not a hero that I know of nor is he one of the Hero Course students at U.A."
"He will be a Hero Course student when he becomes a second year but you are correct, right now he is only a General Studies student." Aizawa said. "He applied for that course as well as the Hero Course knowing that his Quirk wasn't what we test for in the Entrance Exam and lacking the connections for a recommendation."
"It is a flaw in out examination, I admit." Nezu said. "But with two spots available without having to remove an active Hero Course student thanks to this being a special transfer year with Francois Dupont High School in France there wasn't much of an issue if there was a student who wanted to transfer into the Hero Course, or two for that matter."
"It was a rare luxury that we had this year and one that Shinso used to his advantage." Aizawa said. "He did so by proving himself in the Sports Festival when he reached the final round and almost beat Midoriya in the last 16, that was what convinced me that he had potential. He would later participate in the Joint Training Exercise between Class 1-A and 1-B along with another transfer candidate that Vlad was supporting, Bunshi Mizosa, to see if they would make the cut for the two open spots next year."
"They both passed the test and will be transferred into the Hero Course when they matriculate." Nezu said. "But as that is on hold for now they are not in Hero Course students yet and thus haven't been eligible to take the Provisional License Exam nor can they engage in hero work."
"That is the issue that we are up against when it comes to having them aid us and so I've requested that both of them be allowed to assist in anyway that they can." Aizawa said. "They've kept up with their training and are stronger and frankly we need Shinso for this part of the plan. With Brainwashing he should be able to get the Aoyamas to speak to All for One without realizing that they are lying to him, and the fact that they don't know the plan will obviously help with that as well. I just need approval from Mera for it to happen."
"Given the situation it is all but guaranteed that they will be allowed to assist so for now let's continue our planning as if it has already been confirmed." Nezu said. "You can trust that this is our best plan detective."
"If you say so Principal then I will trust your judgement in this matter." Tsukauchi said. "And leave it at this. That just leaves one final thing to sort out before we begin to implement this plan, the locations that we will use and which villains we will send to which location. We know that the Central Hospital is a target but that is separate as far as I can tell and one that they've decided to target. Where should we use?"
"We need places that are either isolated, containable, or at least already destroyed so as to minimize casualties and damage as much as possible." Aizawa said. "From there we will determine which villain to send where. We know that Spinner is going to be the attacking the Central Hospital but that's the one location chosen for us, providing that this information is accurate which given that Kurogiri is here I believe it is. As for the others, they need to be contained to where we have the advantage against them or where they are at least prevented from using the full scope of their abilities."
"Then that means that we must isolate Himiko Toga as far away as from the central battle as possible and in a place that she cannot leave without either a Warp Quirk or some way to facilitate high speed flight." Nezu said thinking on it. "I read the report from Miss Uraraka regarding her second clash with Himiko Toga in Jaku and if I read between the lines it would appear that Toga's Quirk has awakened."
"That's not good." All Might said while the others nodded in agreement knowing of the phenomenon and the danger that it posed. "Young Dupain-Cheng's has awakened as well but it's not exactly an advantage in combat but it does give us a baseline for understanding what an awakened Quirk might do in relation to the Quirk in question. If Himiko Toga's has, what does that entail? How has Transform awakened?"
"If I've interpreted the report correctly, it means that she can use the Quirks of those who's appearance she's taken on." Nezu said darkly. "This is based on Uraraka's report that Toga admitted to using Zero Gravity to kill people."
"That does sound like the next step for her Quirk." Tsukauchi said thinking on it. "When we learned of her Quirk we were glad that it couldn't do that but apparently it can now."
"If I had to theorize, Miss Toga's transformation was originally skin deep and as such the awakened aspect is that it goes all the way down to the genetic level hence the ability to use the Quirk of who she's turned into." Nezu said as he thought on it. "However, we don't know much about awakened Quirks and there are likely some caveats to this as nature has a way of balancing things like this out but it must be taken into account regardless."
"I agree, if this is the case then the greatest threat that the villains had after All for One and Shigaraki is potentially still active." Tsukauchi said. "Jin Bubaigawara was a one man army once he overcame whatever it was that was preventing him from using his Quirk on himself and his sanctioned death at the hands of Hawks in the Paranormal Liberation War took a huge resource off the table for the villains. However, if they managed to save some of his blood then Toga can use her awakened Quirk to use his Quirk and turn the tides on us."
"Precisely which is why she needs to be transported to a location under our control and from which she can't escape short of a warp gate." Nezu said thinking as he spoke and quickly hitting on a good location. "So I prepose that she be transported to Okuto Island. It is 200km off the coast of Japan and Gang Orca has an aquarium there so it is well known to the heroes. As established, Miss Uraraka will have to take point there, she knows Himiko Toga best and we'll work with her and Gang Orca to perfect that part of the battle but the goal will be to isolate Miss Toga on the island and arrest her."
"That is the best course of action for her." Tsukauchi said with a nod agreeing with Nezu's assessment and location choice. "Alright, we'll start with that as the potential location for her and go from there. What about the others?"
"Dabi needs to be in a city, preferably one that's already seen extensive damage, because if he sets fire to something like a forest things will go badly." All Might pointed out. "I'd say Kamino is our best bet for him. It's already evacuated of civilian and the center has still not recovered from my final battle with All for One so send him there. Young Todoroki is training to handle his brother and the Flaming Sidekicks have experience with fire working for Endeavor so they should be there to back him up. We'll need more but they're who we should start with."
"Very well, there are no complaints with that location or team." Tsukauchi said recalling how Todoroki had made it clear earlier that he'd take down Dabi. "On top of those two locations, there are a few other generic locations we can use that come to mind like Takoba National Stadium as that is a large area with no one present and which we can use to contain a portion of All for One's army and defeat them. However, there aren't really any big names that I could think to send there."
"Takoba National Stadium is one of the locations that I'd use for the small scale battles, including a team at the dispersal location as not all villains will be sent away when the battle begins." Aizawa agreed. "But the big names should be sent to specific locations designed specifically with them in mind. I agree that Okuto Island for Toga and Kamino for Dabi are good ideas. I also propose that we use the ruins of the Gunga Villa for All for One. It's away from civilization and controllable to us and as a potential bonus we could consider using Brainwashing to get Gigantomachia on our side as a resource. That last one is a risk but one we might have to take."
"I'd rather not use that avenue unless we have to but I see your logic." Tsukauchi said understanding the logic behind it. "And I concur that sending All for One to Gunga Villa is the right call, Endeavor should take point there and Hawks will be needed as well though best for him to be at the final location rather than the initial one. I'm not 100% with students in that fight but I understand the nature of Dupain-Cheng's Quirk and frankly that power would be best served against All for One."
"It will take a lot to force All for One through a Warp Gate so Endeavor is the best for that, especially after the injuries that Dabi inflicted on Hawks." All Might agreed. "And that just leaves Shigaraki and how we contain him."
"That's your plan, right Principal?" Aizawa asked looking at Nezu. "Monoma will use my Quirk to erase his Quirks but you've got the containment in general planned."
"Correct, we will transport Shigaraki here to U.A. but by then U.A. will be floating in the air and caged to keep him in one place." Nezu said revealing the full scope of the containment now that it was just them. "Of course, Midoriya and Bakugo will be here to keep his attention but removing him from the ground and minimizing his movements while erasing his Quirks is the only way to truly contain him. Agreste will be on standby just in case as Cataclysm can hold back Decay and his combat skills without a Quirk are some of the top in the school which is an added bonus."
"I will leave that to you and the staff here, you know it best and there's not enough time to really do more than follow your lead on it." Tsukauchi said. "There are a few other locations that I have in mind, however, and I'd like to run them by all of you before I head out."
"Of course, what are they?" Nezu asked.
Tsukauchi nodded in thanks and then listed off several locations all over Japan that he felt could be useful for them. They were all places that the heroes knew well, could control, and prevented mass casualties while minimizing destruction to some extent. The others presented made notes on the locations in question, proposed a few of their own as well, and narrowed the suggestions down to a manageable list to start with along with several backup locations if the ones listed didn't work out for them.
None of the new locations were set for the major players but breaking up the army was the key thing so that they could be handled in smaller engagements and as such the locations chosen needed to be right for handling such battles. There were other aspects of the battle to plan out of course but right now the initiation and disbursement was key and soon they had a good list to go off. With that it was time to wrap up the meeting and so Nezu did just that as the final list of locations was read out so that they all knew where they were starting.
"I understand." Nezu said as everyone turned to him now that the final part of the meeting was sorted. "We'll need to examine each of the proposed locations thoroughly to make sure that they're the right terrain for us but if the elements fall into place then this could work. We have the right Quirks to pull this off and hopefully put an end to this war."
"It could work." All Might agreed with a nod. "But success will depend on him though."
"Remember that we only have one week if we want to use our sudden advantage." Aizawa said. "We must make the most of that, we can't just sit on our hands."
"Well it's a plan worth considering and bluntly we don't have anything better." Tsukauchi said rubbing his chin in thought. "All right, I'll take this back to HQ and start hashing out the particulars. I'm sure that I can put pressure on Mera to approve what you need Eraser Head and without giving away the specifics of this so as to preserve our advantage there. Obviously, and this goes without saying, but the only people at U.A. who should know anything about this are those in the room with us."
"Of course and on that note we must get to work." Nezu said. "I'll set things in motion here as well, this is our best chance, let's not waste it."
The others all nodded at that as the meeting came to an end and Aizawa ended the call. He had his own work to do, especially with Monoma, so he had to start right away while the others in the room headed out and made their way to their own tasks for the coming week. They had a chance, a slim one but it was the best that they'd get, to force All for One and Shigaraki into the open and onto their own terms, now it was time to maximize it and finally put an end to this generations spanning war.
Meanwhile, as the last of the plan was being sorted out in the classroom, Class 1-A had come to a stop in the hallway outside as they all watched Aoyama and his parents being led away down the unlit corridor to be taken to Central Hospital and evaluated before placed in holding cells until it was time to use them to lure out All for One. It was still a lot to take in but now they had a path forward and as they watched Aoyama depart, Izuku called out to him as the sound canceling devices had now been removed so he could hear them.
"Aoyama, don't worry, this will be ok!" Izuku called out and the still gagged Aoyama looked back at him before looking forward again as he and his parents continued walking. "I mean it!"
They remained there for a few more moments after Izuku's words with no one saying anything else until Aoyama and his parents were fully out of sight before they all turned and headed back to the dorm. They had things to sort out now but first they needed to get back there to make sure they knew what they had to do over the next few days. However, as they move a voice spoke in the minds of three of them.
"My office. Now."
It was of course Mage and he'd reached out to Marinette, Adrien, and Momo to call them to his office. They weren't sure why he wanted them to see him but they knew that if he was asking right now they should hold back and go as it was going to be important so they did just that. If their classmates noticed they didn't say anything, they were all focused on their own things and so the trio were able to wait and then head over to Mage's office once the rest of the class had left the hallway that they were in.
None of them spoke, however, as they walked there. After everything they'd been through, learned, and discussed today words were pretty much the last things on their minds as they walked. That and they all knew that if Mage wanted them then they'd have even more to discuss with him and so they didn't see the need to speak as they made their way to the familiar office and filed in.
As expected Mage was already in one of the chairs that faced the sofa, three steaming cups on the table between him and the sofa in front of where the trio would sit while a fourth floated next to him. They didn't need to ask what was in them, by this point Mage knew their favorite beverages and had already prepared them as they took their seats, Marinette in the middle with Adrien on her right and Momo her left, while the door slid shut behind them.
"Sorry for the sudden call but in the wake of everything I needed to see you right away." Mage said as he drew his knife and placed it on his lap, the blade glowing indicating that he was using it to tap onto the Guardian of Sound's power to ensure that no one overheard what they were about to discuss. "There is one final thing that needs to be discussed and factored into whatever the plans are for this operation but it is one that can't be discussed in there. While the class knows, as does All Might, Nezu, and Tsukauchi, Aizawa, Mic, and Ectoplasm don't so we must discuss it here and given all that's just happened now is the best time to do that."
"I see." Marinette said as she picked up her tea and took a sip getting a feeling she knew what it was but asking anyway. "And that is?"
"To determine if you can use a final resource that you have access to." Mage said looking at them seriously. "Other than Kaalki, will the remaining kwamis who are with you help us out in this final battle?"
A bit of a cliffhanger, and a good question to answer if y'all have suggestions for it as there's plenty of time for me to decide how this will go, but I feel like it's a good spot to end this chapter on. We've got the general plan for the final war hashed out, a bit more than the episode and manga covered but that was of course to keep it all a secret for when it came out in canon so I decided to do it differently and have an actual planning session with a slightly different interpretation of how the meeting might have gone due to the presence of a few new characters and as such created a chapter for it. Now, the class has a week to prepare but first Marinette, Adrien, and Momo have one final meeting to have with Mage to see if there is another resource that they could tap for the upcoming final war. That is all that I have for this chapter, however, so I will leave it off here. As always, if you like it or have any questions please let me know in reviews or PMs, I will try to answer them as best I could and post any questions asked between uploads at the start of the next chapter and do follow and favorite this, so you are alerted to future uploads. Do keep the reviews coming as I like hearing from y'all as you enjoy my work, it motivates me to keep producing the best work I can for y'all to enjoy. Until next time.
