CHAPTER 1
King Vegeta the Third stood tall, his crimson cape billowing slightly in the artificial wind of the royal chamber. In his hands, the Power Level scanner blinked, displaying a number that made his chest swell with pride.
"That's my son. Your power level is just a little higher than your older brother's. Even though your younger brother is still weak, you have surpassed them both."
His voice, deep and authoritative, held a rare warmth.
The number on the scanner read 4,000—a reason to be proud. A reason to hope.
Beside King Vegeta, reclining on a medical table, lay a tired but resolute woman. Queen Vigna, regal even in exhaustion, cradled her newborn son in her arms. The sheen of sweat on her brow did little to diminish her beauty. Her sharp features softened as she gazed down at her baby, who squirmed in the protective glass of the incubation pod.
He had inherited his grandfather's wild, spiky hair, yet his facial structure was unmistakably hers.
"You should name him."
King Vegeta said, his usual commanding tone tempered by expectation.
Vigna traced the outline of the glass with her fingers, her mind drifting to the ghosts of the past.
"Naruto. That shall be his name."
King Vegeta raised an eyebrow.
"Naruto? You're naming him Fish Cake? Your ramen addiction has finally gotten to your head."
The chamber echoed with his deep laughter, but it was swiftly interrupted by a sharp THWACK!
Vigna's fist collided with his head, sending him stumbling back a step. He winced but smirked as he rubbed his temple.
"My father wanted to name my brother he was killed alongside my mother before he ever had the chance. This way, I fulfill his desire."
King Vegeta's amusement faded. His expression grew serious, a shadow of unease flickering across his face.
"Vigna... I fear something."
His voice dropped to a near whisper.
She looked up, sensing the tension in his words.
"What is it?"
"Frieza."
The name alone sent a chill through the room.
"Bardock is right. Frieza is going to destroy us. I know it."
Her grip on the pod tightened.
"No… he wouldn't—"
"He would. He will. That's why you need to get Naruto in a pod and launch him to another planet. Somewhere with a weak power level. Somewhere far."
"But—"
"I am going to confront him."
His eyes burned with determination, the same look he wore before heading into battle.
"I won't sit back and wait for him to wipe us out. If I die, at least I will die fighting."
Without another word, King Vegeta turned, his cape snapping behind him as he flew toward Frieza's ship.
Vigna reached after him, but her arms found only empty air.
"Vegeta! No!"
He didn't stop. He never did.
Tears pricked at the edges of her eyes, but she wiped them away. She didn't have time to grieve. She had a son to save.
The Saiyan palace erupted into chaos. Soldiers scrambled, shouting orders, but it was too late. The sky outside darkened as Frieza's massive ship loomed over Planet Vegeta, casting an ominous shadow.
Vigna moved swiftly, securing a small pod for Naruto. She placed him inside, adjusting the settings to send him to a distant, low-power planet called Wisselfs. It was a quiet world, not known for its warriors. A place where he could grow unnoticed. A place where he would be safe.
Before sealing the pod, she reached into her armor and retrieved a small, worn-out photograph. It was of their family—King Vegeta, herself, their firstborn son, and now, Naruto. She pressed it gently against the inner wall of the pod.
Then she took out a small data chip. She recorded a message and attached files containing vital Saiyan knowledge—
The Oozaru transformation and its conditions.
The Galick Gun, a technique passed down to every Saiyan prince.
And her own special move, the Swift Fissile, designed for quick, decisive strikes.
The pod hissed as it sealed shut. Naruto's tiny face was the last thing she saw before the launch mechanism activated. The pod shot into the sky, streaking through the atmosphere, disappearing into the void of space.
She clutched her chest, her breath ragged.
"Live, my son. Live and grow strong."
Explosions erupted in the sky. A group of Frieza's elite warriors descended upon the planet like an unstoppable storm. Vigna stood atop a tower, watching as a lone, spiky-haired Saiyan raced toward them.
Bardock.
He fought fiercely, cutting through minions with brutal efficiency, his movements sharp and desperate. But even he couldn't stop what was coming.
A blinding light consumed the heavens as Frieza extended a single, malicious finger. A ball of energy grew at its tip, crackling with deadly power.
"This is the end."
She smiled, despite it all.
Her son was safe. That was all that mattered.
The last thing she saw was the explosion, a brilliant flash swallowing everything in its wake. Then, darkness.
Somewhere else…
Prince Vegeta sat on a jagged rock, his arms crossed, his tail flicking in agitation. Beside him stood Nappa, tall and imposing, and Raditz, his wild mane of hair billowing slightly in the wind. The air was tense, filled with unspoken thoughts and the distant hum of a scouter picking up faint readings.
A Saiyan warrior came running toward them, panting heavily. His face was etched with disbelief and urgency.
"Prince Vegeta! Reports say that Planet Vegeta has collided with a massive meteor and has been completely wiped out!"
Vegeta glanced up at the night sky, his expression unreadable. He let out a quiet sigh, his voice betraying no emotion.
"Guess I'll never be king now."
Nappa clenched his fists.
"A meteor? That doesn't add up. Planet Vegeta had one of the strongest defenses in the galaxy."
Raditz folded his arms, his scouter beeping faintly.
"It's a good thing we ignored Frieza's order to return home. My mother told me they were sending Kakarot to a distant planet. At least one of us survived."
Vegeta took a slow bite of a purple fruit, chewing thoughtfully before speaking.
"Your brother? That low-class brat? He won't amount to much."
Nappa grunted.
"Don't you have a brother too, Prince?"
Vegeta's grip on the fruit tightened slightly.
"Yeah, Tarble. But he was a disgrace—too weak to be considered a true Saiyan warrior."
His voice carried a mix of contempt and disappointment.
"I only hoped to meet my new brother. He would have been powerful, after all."
The wind picked up, rustling their battle armor as silence settled over them. Each Saiyan lost in thought, processing the magnitude of what had just happened. Their home was gone. Their people were gone. And the future, uncertain.
1 Year Later,
Age 738,
Forest in Land of Fire,
Wisselfs…
The pod crashed into the earth, sending a shockwave through the ground as dust and debris flew into the air. The metallic shell hissed as it cooled, and moments later, the door slowly creaked open.
During his journey through space, the pod had done more than just keep him alive. It had ingrained in him the basics of survival, teaching him how to speak and harness his Ki. The knowledge was rudimentary, but it was enough to give him a fighting chance on this new planet.
Naruto stepped out of the pod, his small fists clenching instinctively as he scanned his surroundings. The air was fresh, the sky an endless blue, and towering trees surrounded him on all sides. His stomach growled, and instinct kicked in—he needed food, shelter, and security.
A rustling in the bushes snapped his attention to the left. His muscles tensed. A tiger, large and powerful, lunged from the shadows, claws extended, fangs bared. But Naruto did not flinch. Instead, he reacted with Saiyan instinct, his tiny fist shooting out and connecting with the beast's jaw before it could strike.
The impact sent the tiger tumbling back, landing in a dazed heap several feet away. It groaned and then scrambled to its feet, before retreating into the dense foliage, knowing it had met a superior predator.
Naruto exhaled, his heart pounding not in fear but in exhilaration. He had survived his first encounter with the wild, and a smirk formed on his young face. This place—this dense forest—would be his home now. He would make it his own, just as the Saiyans before him had conquered hostile lands.
He explored the area, searching for food and shelter. He found fruits hanging from trees, their scent sweet and inviting, and after a cautious sniff, he devoured them greedily. Water flowed nearby in a river, clear and cold, satisfying his thirst. Soon, he began gathering sticks and leaves, making a crude shelter near the base of a massive tree.
As the sun set, Naruto sat in his newly claimed home, staring at the horizon. He did not yet understand the full extent of his loneliness, nor did he know that far away, on a different planet, another child was enduring a similar fate.
In Konoha, a baby lay alone, shunned and without family, marked by a burden he did not ask for. Though their paths were separated by time and space, fate would not keep them apart forever. One day, they would meet.
Not today. Not soon.
But one day.
12 Years Later,
Age 750,
Forest in Land of Fire,
Wisselfs…
Mito Uzumaki, the Kyuubi Jinchuriki, had failed her Genin Exam. But her Chunin sensei, Mizuki, had told her about an alternative test. Determined not to give up, she sneaked into the Hokage's office and retrieved the Scroll of Sealing. From it, she managed to learn a single technique—the Shadow Clone Jutsu.
"I found you."
A voice called out, breaking the silence.
Mito turned, seeing Iruka Umino, her other sensei, approaching. Relief filled her features, but she remained cautious.
"You found me. But I have only learned one jutsu from the scroll. I still have to try the other one."
Iruka looked closely at Mito, taking in her bruises and exhausted posture.
"You look all beaten up. What were you doing here?"
"I learned jutsu from the scroll. Mizuki-sensei told me to get it and come here. He said that if I showed you this jutsu, I would definitely graduate."
Iruka frowned, confusion evident on his face. Mizuki had been the one to alert him about Mito stealing the scroll and running away. Something wasn't adding up.
Before he could voice his concerns, the sharp whizzing sound of kunai cutting through the air reached his ears. Without hesitation, Iruka grabbed Mito and pushed her out of the way just as the kunai embedded itself into the ground where she had stood.
"Nice job finding the moron."
Mizuki sneered as he landed on a tree branch before them.
Iruka's eyes widened in realization.
"I see. So that's what's going on."
Mito glanced between her two senseiS, confusion creeping into her expression.
"What's going on?"
Iruka kept his gaze locked on Mizuki.
"Mito, give me the scroll."
"Mito, whatever happens, don't give him the scroll."
Iruka warned, stepping protectively in front of her.
"That scroll contains forbidden ninjutsu. Mizuki used you to get his hands on it."
Mito's mind swirled with uncertainty. Who was telling the truth? Mizuki had never been unkind to her before, but Iruka had always been honest.
A sinister grin stretched across Mizuki's face.
"There's no point in hiding it from her now. I'll tell you the truth, Mito. Twelve years ago, they said Kyuubi was killed, right? That's a lie. Kyuubi wasn't killed—it was sealed into a baby. And that baby... is you."
Mito froze.
"What?"
Mizuki's smirk deepened.
"A special rule was created after that day. A rule no one was allowed to tell you. Want to know what it is? That rule forbids anyone from telling you that you are the Kyuubi. You're the demon that destroyed the village. The monster that killed Iruka's parents. That's why everyone in the village hates you. No one will ever love you."
Mito staggered back, her mind reeling. She had always felt the villagers' cold stares and whispered insults, but she had never understood why—until now.
Mizuki suddenly hurled a massive Demon Wind Shuriken at her. Iruka moved, intending to shield Mito with his own body, bracing himself for the pain.
But it never came.
A loud snap echoed through the forest as the shuriken shattered into pieces. A blur of motion landed before them.
"Mama say respect girls. You not do that. I beat you."
Iruka and Mito blinked in shock as a boy—clad in tiger pelts, with wild, spiky hair and a monkey-like tail—stood in front of them. He was young, no older than Mito, but his presence was overwhelming.
Naruto glared at Mizuki and, in an instant, closed the distance between them. His fist connected with Mizuki's face, sending him crashing through several trees.
Mizuki groaned, pulling out a kunai. He lunged at Naruto, stabbing forward—only for the weapon to snap against the boy's skin.
Mizuki's eyes widened in horror.
"You… You're not human! What are you?!"
Naruto's expression darkened.
"I Saiyan. You dead. Galick Gun!"
He brought his hands together at chest level, fingers curled, and thrust them forward. A fuchsia-colored energy beam erupted from his palms, engulfing Mizuki entirely. In an instant, the traitorous chunin was reduced to nothing.
A tense silence followed, broken only when multiple masked ANBU appeared, surrounding Naruto with their blades drawn.
Naruto narrowed his eyes, but before he could retaliate, Mito rushed forward.
"Wait! Don't fight them! We can talk this out!"
Naruto hesitated before relaxing his stance.
"Naruto listen. Beautiful girl. Hello. Me Naruto. Me Prince of all Saiyan. Me here. Planet destroyed. Everyone here weak."
Mito took a deep breath, piecing together his words. His strange attire, his long, unkempt hair—he had been living in the wilderness for years. But what did he mean by his planet being destroyed? That was a secret she couldn't let him share so freely.
"I am Mito Uzumaki. Don't tell anyone about your planet, okay?"
Naruto thought for a moment before nodding. Meanwhile, Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage, stepped forward. Despite the absence of chakra within the boy, Hiruzen could tell he was immensely strong.
Naruto took a stance, prepared for another fight, but Mito quickly stopped him again.
"It's okay, Naruto. Jiji won't cause any trouble. Jiji, this is Naruto. He's been living in the forest, and he's really strong. He even saved me. And… he has a tail like a monkey."
Hiruzen's eyes flicked to Naruto's tail, surprise flashing across his face. A tail like that of a monkey… could he be a member of the Sarutobi Clan? Had he been abandoned in the forest after the Kyuubi's attack? If so, it was remarkable that he had survived.
Naruto looked about the same age as Mito. Perhaps… he could be molded into a shinobi.
"Very well. Would you like to become a shinobi, Naruto?"
Hiruzen asked.
Naruto tilted his head.
"If me shinobi, me be with Mito?"
It took a moment for Hiruzen to understand, but he nodded.
"Yes. You will be on the same team."
Naruto grinned.
"Then me be shinobi."
Hiruzen smiled, already forming a plan.
"Then come with me. If you are indeed from the Sarutobi Clan, it is only right that I provide you a home."
Some Days later,
Konoha Shinobi Academy…
Naruto sat on the floor of the classroom, surrounded by stacks of books on grammar and basic writing. His sharp blue eyes scanned the pages with intense focus. Ever since Hiruzen had provided him with these books, Naruto had dedicated himself to improving his language skills.
He wanted to be able to speak clearly, to be understood, and most importantly, to fit in with the people around him. Though he had incredible strength, he had quickly realized that understanding and communication were just as important in this new life as raw power.
As he turned another page, the door burst open, and a brash voice interrupted his concentration.
"Huh? Who the hell are you, and what are you doing here?"
Naruto looked up from his book and saw a boy with wild brown hair, two red fang-like markings on his cheeks, and a small white puppy perched on his head. The boy's sharp, questioning glare made it clear that he was suspicious of Naruto's presence.
"I Naruto. I be Shinobi."
Naruto replied simply, his words still a bit broken but much better than when he first arrived in the village.
Kiba's brow furrowed in confusion. He had never seen Naruto before, and his rough speech made him seem like a complete outsider.
"Oh, you're already here, Naruto!"
Kiba turned to see Mito Uzumaki approaching with a smile. He scowled at her presence.
"What the hell are you doing here, Mito? Only those who passed the exams are supposed to be here."
Mito smirked and pointed at the metal forehead protector tied securely around her head.
"Can't you see this, dog-boy? I passed, so move aside."
Kiba scoffed but moved out of her way as she took a seat beside Naruto. She glanced at the book he was reading and nodded approvingly.
"You're learning grammar? That's great. If you keep practicing, you'll be talking like the rest of us in no time."
Before Naruto could respond, a loud, shrill voice rang out.
"Sasuke-kun! Let's sit together!"
Naruto turned his head to see a pink-haired girl marching toward the dark-haired boy sitting at the other end of the classroom. He narrowed his eyes slightly and let out a low growl, a deep, primal warning that made the girl freeze in place.
A wave of killer intent rolled off of Naruto, and for a split second, the classroom felt suffocating. Sakura Haruno, the girl who had been shouting, went pale and stumbled backward.
"Mama say respect girls. But that girl annoying."
Mito giggled, covering her mouth.
"That's Sakura. She has a huge crush on Sasuke Uchiha."
She turned to glare at the raven-haired boy.
"He always acts like he's so cool. I hate this guy more than anyone."
Naruto glanced at Sasuke, who sat with his arms crossed, eyes closed, looking completely uninterested in the chaos around him. He could tell the boy was strong, but he didn't care much for his attitude.
Before any further arguments could start, Iruka entered the room, carrying a stack of papers. He set them down on the desk and cleared his throat.
"Alright, everyone, quiet down!"
The chatter died down immediately as all eyes turned to their instructor.
"Starting today, you are officially shinobi of the Hidden Leaf Village. However, you are still Genin. The real challenges are just now on, you will receive missions to help the village, but first, you will be assigned to teams of three, each led by a Jounin sensei. These teams have been carefully balanced to ensure an even distribution of skills and abilities."
Iruka picked up the first sheet of paper and began reading off the names.
"Haruto Chino, Ayumi Hyuga, and Daichi Nara will be in Team 1. Your sensei will be Shigezane."
Several students murmured as the first team was announced.
"Emi Inuzuka, Renjiro Aburame, and Aiko Kaya will be in Team 2. Your sensei will be Hayate Gekko."
"Kaito Su, Yumi Akimichi, and Hana Yamanaka will be in Team 3. Your sensei will be Genma Shiranui."
"Hiroto Sarutobi, Mei Kazama, and Ryoji will be in Team 4. Your sensei will be Raido Namiashi."
"Kohana, Takeshi Hyuga, and Mina Aburame will be in Team 5. Your sensei will be Aoba Yamashiro."
"Ryota Nara, Akira Asuraon, and Sakura Haruno will be in Team 6. Your sensei will be Iwashi Tatami."
Mito and Naruto leaned forward, eagerly waiting for their names to be called. Finally, Iruka read out the next set of names.
"Mito Uzumaki, Naruto, and Sasuke Uchiha will be in Team 7. Your sensei will be Kakashi Hatake."
A wave of mixed reactions spread through the room. Mito's eyes widened in shock, and then she groaned loudly.
"Are you kidding me?! I have to be on a team with him?"
She glared at Sasuke, who barely reacted.
Naruto, on the other hand, glanced at Mito and then at Sasuke. He didn't mind being on a team with Mito, but he wasn't sure about Sasuke. Still, he was willing to see what would happen.
Sasuke finally opened his eyes and glanced at Naruto, his expression unreadable. There was something about the wild-looking boy with the monkey-like tail that made Sasuke cautious. He could tell Naruto was strong—stronger than anyone else in the room.
Iruka continued with the team assignments.
"Hinata Hyuuga, Kiba Inuzuka, and Shino Aburame will be in Team 8. Your sensei will be Kurenai Yuhi."
"Team 9 is still in circulation."
"Ino Yamanaka, Shikamaru Nara, and Choji Akimichi will be in Team 10. Your sensei will be Asuma Sarutobi."
Excited whispers filled the room as students discussed their team placements. However, the group of girls who adored Sasuke were devastated that Mito had been placed on his team.
They glared at her with resentment but dared not say a word when they noticed Naruto's sharp gaze scanning the room.
Naruto had already made it clear that he wouldn't tolerate any hostility toward Mito, and none of the fangirls were brave enough to challenge him.
With the team assignments complete, Iruka nodded.
"Your Jounin senseis will meet you shortly. Be sure to listen to them and do your best. Dismissed!"
As the students filed out of the room, Naruto stretched and looked at Mito.
"Mito, we team now?"
Mito sighed.
"Yeah, looks like it."
Naruto grinned.
"Good. Me protect Mito."
Mito smiled despite herself. She had a feeling things were about to get very interesting.
Sametime,
Mito's Apartment,
Konoha…
Kakashi stepped into the small, dimly lit apartment, his single eye sweeping over the state of disarray. The place was cluttered—papers scattered on the floor, half-eaten instant ramen cups stacked in the sink, and dust gathering in the corners.
It was clear that Mito wasn't the most responsible when it came to keeping her living space in order.
With a sigh, Kakashi walked over to the small kitchen counter and spotted a carton of milk sitting there. Picking it up, he gave it a light shake, noting how sluggish the liquid inside moved. That was a bad sign. Twisting the cap open slightly, he took a hesitant sniff—only to recoil immediately.
"This milk went bad a few days ago."
Kakashi wrinkled his nose as he tossed it into the trash.
Behind him, the Third Hokage observed silently. The old man's wise eyes took in the apartment's state, his face unreadable.
"So this is where Mito lives?"
Hiruzen finally spoke, his tone calm but carrying a hint of concern.
"So what do you think about Mito, Kakashi-kun?"
Kakashi turned to look at him, nodding.
"Yeah. It's… not exactly what I expected."
Hiruzen exhaled softly.
"Mito has always been independent, but I fear she hasn't learned how to properly care for herself. She's been alone for too long."
Kakashi leaned against the counter, arms crossed. He had been assigned as her sensei, but this was his first real glimpse into her personal life. He knew Mito had a tough upbringing, but seeing her living conditions firsthand made it more real.
"Mito is not very smart."
Hiruzen continued, stroking his beard thoughtfully.
"She has a strong spirit, but she struggles academically. And then there's Naruto…"
At the mention of the boy, Kakashi tilted his head slightly.
"Naruto?"
Hiruzen's gaze darkened just a little.
"Naruto is strong. To the point that he scares me."
Kakashi blinked, momentarily caught off guard. He had expected Hiruzen to say Naruto was unusual, maybe difficult, but to outright admit that the boy scared him? That was unexpected.
"You're saying that, Hokage-sama?"
Kakashi asked, his curiosity piqued.
"That's not something I thought I'd hear from you."
Hiruzen sighed.
"I have lived through many wars, Kakashi. I have seen power in many forms. But Naruto… he is unlike anything I've encountered before. His strength—it isn't just natural talent. It's something else. Something beyond what a child should possess."
Kakashi remained silent, recalling his brief interactions with Naruto. The boy was strong, undeniably so. He had passed the bell test in a way that had caught even Kakashi off guard. And now, hearing this from Hiruzen, he couldn't help but wonder—what exactly was Naruto?
"Do you know anything about him that I don't?"
Hiruzen shook his head.
"I know very little. His origins are… unclear. But what I do know is that he is not an ordinary child. And that means you must be especially careful with how you guide him."
Kakashi let out a small sigh. He had initially requested Sakura for his team, only to be given Naruto instead. He hadn't questioned it at the time, but now he wondered—why had the old man made that decision?
"You put him on my team for a reason, didn't you?"
Hiruzen smiled slightly.
"I believe you're the best person to watch over him. To see what he becomes."
Kakashi wasn't sure whether to take that as a compliment or a warning. But one thing was clear—Naruto wasn't just another student. He was something else entirely.
And it was his job to figure out what.
Three Hours Later…
Mito grinned mischievously as she balanced a duster on the slightly ajar door. She had carefully set up the prank as a way to get back at Kakashi for always being late. Sitting beside her, arms crossed and a skeptical expression on his face, Sasuke scoffed.
"You really think this will work? He's a Jonin."
Mito pouted, placing her hands on her hips.
"He may be a Jonin, but he's also a person! No one expects a duster to fall on their head."
Sasuke rolled his eyes, but before he could argue further, the door creaked open. Kakashi Hatake, their enigmatic and perpetually tardy sensei, casually stepped inside, hands in his pockets. The duster tumbled from its precarious perch, landing right on his silver head.
For a moment, the room was silent. Then, Kakashi casually plucked the duster off and examined it as he rubbed his chin, showing no reaction whatsoever. His single visible eye turned towards his students, and he tilted his head as if deep in thought.
"Hmm... how can I say this? My first impression of you all is... I don't like you guys."
Mito gasped dramatically.
"Sensei! That's so mean!"
Sasuke just huffed and crossed his arms, while Naruto, who had been silently observing the scene, tilted his head in confusion.
Kakashi ignored their reactions and clapped his hands together.
"Alright, let's take this conversation to the rooftop."
And with that, he disappeared in a puff of smoke.
Sasuke wasted no time, immediately dashing out of the room and up the stairs. Mito prepared to run after him, but before she could take a step, she felt herself being lifted off the ground.
"Huh?! Naruto, what are you doing?!"
She yelled as she flailed slightly, only to realize she was... floating?
Naruto grinned as he effortlessly carried her towards the window.
"We fly."
Before Mito could process his words, Naruto leaped out of the window, soaring into the air with ease. Her screams of protest quickly turned into awed silence as she realized they weren't falling—they were flying.
Her wide eyes darted to Naruto.
"How are you doing this?!"
"Saiyan fly from baby. My mama teach me."
Naruto explained as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
Within seconds, they landed gently on the rooftop, right in front of a shocked Kakashi. Sasuke, who had only just arrived, was equally taken aback. He had left them behind, yet somehow, they had beaten him here?
Kakashi took a moment to process what he had just seen before clearing his throat.
"Well... that was unexpected. But let's move on. Have a seat."
Once they were settled, Kakashi leaned against the railing.
"Alright, let's start with introductions. Tell me your likes, dislikes, your dreams for the future, and things like that. I'll go first. My name is Kakashi Hatake. I have no desire to tell you my likes and dislikes. I have a lot of hobbies, and as for my dream... Well, I don't really have one. Now, it's your turn. Let's start from the left."
His gaze landed on Sasuke, signaling for him to begin.
Sasuke straightened up, his voice cold and unwavering.
"My name is Sasuke Uchiha. There are many things I dislike, and not much that I like. I wouldn't call it a dream, but I do have an ambition: to restore my clan and to kill a certain man."
Mito blinked in surprise. She had no idea Sasuke carried such a heavy burden. Meanwhile, Naruto silently observed him, feeling a strange sense of familiarity. Kakashi, however, wasn't surprised. He had expected as much.
Next, it was Mito's turn. She perked up, a bright grin forming on her face.
"My name is Mito Uzumaki! I like cup ramen, especially when Iruka-sensei pays for it. I also love learning new techniques from books. What do I dislike? Waiting three minutes for the ramen to cook—it's torture! My dream is to become the next Hokage and learn lots of powerful jutsu!"
Kakashi couldn't help but smile slightly at her enthusiasm. She reminded him so much of his late sensei and his wife. With the right guidance, he was certain Mito would surpass them both.
Finally, all eyes turned to Naruto.
"Me Naruto. Me like fighting and friends like Mito. Me dislike someone who disrespects fight rules. Me dream kill Frieza because Frieza killed father, mother, and everyone, and find Brother Vegeta."
Kakashi's expression changed subtly. That was unexpected. Naruto's words carried the same weight as Sasuke's, but there was something more... something mysterious. Frieza? Vegeta? Who were they?
Before he could ask, Kakashi straightened up and clapped his hands.
"Alright, that concludes introductions. Tomorrow, we start our duties as shinobi. But first, we'll have a little survival exercise."
Mito raised an eyebrow.
"A survival exercise? Didn't we already pass the exam?"
Kakashi chuckled, his eyes crinkling.
"Oh, you'll love this. This isn't just any training—it's an exam. And I should warn you, it has a failure rate of over 66%."
All three genin tensed.
"Wait. You mean we can still fail?"
" the twenty-seven graduates, only nine will become full-fledged genin. The rest will be sent back to the Academy."
Mito paled.
"That's not fair! We worked hard to graduate!"
Kakashi merely shrugged.
"If you want to be shinobi, you'll have to prove you deserve it. The details are on these slips of paper. Bring all your shinobi tools, and one more thing—skip breakfast. You'll probably throw up."
He handed them each a slip of paper. Naruto barely glanced at his before tearing it apart, already committing the details to memory. Kakashi disappeared in a swirl of leaves, leaving his three students to process what had just happened.
Mito groaned.
"Ugh, this guy is going to be a nightmare, isn't he?"
Sasuke was already deep in thought, considering the best way to prepare for the test. Naruto, however, shrugged.
"We eat."
Mito turned to him, confused.
"Huh? Didn't Kakashi-sensei say to skip breakfast?"
Naruto grinned.
"He say we throw up. Me no throw up. We eat."
Mito thought about it for a second before nodding.
"Yeah, you know what? You might be onto something. Let's go!"
Sasuke rolled his eyes but followed along. They didn't know what tomorrow would bring, but one thing was certain: their journey as Team 7 had officially begun.
SO I REWROTE IT. AND THERE WERE SOME MISTAKES THAT I HAVE NOW TAKEN CARE OF. I AM GONNA COMPLETELY REWRITE THIS NOW.
FUCK SAKURA. SAKURA'S POSITION WILL BE TAKEN BY NARUTO. AND MITO IS A FEMALE NARUTO. WHILE NARUTO IS THE PRINCE OF ALL SAIYAN. AND FUCK BORUTO TOO.
