A/N
Heyo! Guess who's back from the pits of hell? Anyways, enough with the silliness. I decided to actually get back to writing my FNaF fic that I was planning, but I switched it up, clearly. This is, of course, a Security Breach Fanfic, and is centered around my OC, Raina, and her relationship with Gregory. Hopefully, if this goes where I want it to, there will be a slight romance between Monty and Raina. If any of y'all wanna have a detailed sheet over her (ie. what she looks like, her personality, how she interacts with the bots) go ahead and Pm me, leave a review, and follow. Also, wanted to say, again, that this story will have some parts of it based around the fic Snapped Up by the author birdmoss. They have given me permission wo use some of their ideas as long as I give credit. So any chapters that I use something of theirs, it will be mentioned either here, or below. Anyways, enjoy! :)
One
It was a normal Friday night, the Pizza Plex teeming with life, animatronics going about their business. The Glam Rocks were delivering specially ordered pizzas and presents to children. A teen sat slightly alone from everyone, trying to concentrate on the manual in her hands. As she read more, she made sure to jot down little notes in her journal, making sure she had everything from the manuals written in her small notebook.
She glanced up to see Monty, the alligator-based animatronic walking around. She caught his attention and he gave her a small salute. She returned it with a small smile, her worries calmed and near silent for once. She took a bit more time than was probably allowed, before standing and stretching, glancing over to her excitable brother watching the rest of the show.
She started walking towards the boy, when she noticed the bear following after her. The little boy had always loved the animatronics of the Pizza Plex, the bear more so. As she got closer to the small child, Gregory noticed her and jumped up from his seat so fast, she thought he might've hurt his legs.
The teen let out a startled laugh as the smaller boy crashed into her, flinging his light weight onto her. "Hey, kiddo. You havin' fun? I heard that Monty and Freddy were gonna come 'n wish ya happy birthday." She asked, her Scottish accent coming out in full swing.
"This is the most fun I've ever had, Raina! I still can't believe you managed to even get us into a place like this." Gregory states in excitement.
Raina sighed a little, her smile wavering. She had to give it to the boy, he was smart (and maybe a little too observant). It had been the kids dream for as long as she knew him to come to the Pizza Plex, to just have somewhere fun to go and to get outta the harsh weather, to finally have a somewhat decent meal. But, he'd insisted on her not using the little money she'd managed to scrounge up. Had she listened to him? Of course not. This was the one day that Raina could make the kid feel as special as he was, and she wasn't gonna ruin that cause of the little money she had.
So, Raina had saved even more than usual. She'd given herself less portions than normal, but never once waved what she'd give to Gregory. Raina hadn't eaten a full meal for a few months now, only ever getting scraps, or something the boy didn't eat. But she was used to it, it didn't matter much to her, she would do anything to make sure the boy could live his life as much as possible. Even if it meant she'd be getting less and less to eat.
"Hey, I'm one of the best thieves in the city, kid. Don't think I can't handle getting us past a couple guards? Please. Thought ya had more faith in me than that, Greg." She stated, officially getting the boy's mind from their miraculous entrance by calling him Greg. Was he observant? Yes, he was (extremely so, even). But, was he also easily distracted? Definitely.
Raina made sure to keep the kid distracted as the titular character and alligator came over. No need in letting them know of their situation. They might try and help, but they'd just end up doing more harm than good. She drowned out most of what the two biggest animatronics said to Gregory, keeping sharp eyes out, just in case. People in their situation can never be too careful after all.
"Whatcha think, son? You feeling up to some games in the Fazcade?" Freddy asked, Raina slowly tuning back into the conversation. She narrowed her eyes slightly at the behemoth of a bear. Sure, he might've been an animatronic, but even robots can be reprogrammed. Her grandpa had made sure she knew that, before everything went downhill after his death.
Freddy noticed her slightly apprehended look, something flashing across the girl's face, too fast for even his sensors to pick up, before she hid behind a mask of small indifference again. Normally, the bear was excellent at reading all the guests that came into the massive Pizza Plex, but for some reason, he couldn't get a reading on this girl.
He scanned her subtly, his processors coming up with who she was. Her name was Raina Stone, she was 21 years of age (she didn't look it to him, but his computers were never wrong). She was originally from Scotland, but moved to the US a few years ago, to attend a college of her choice. She never got in. Her parents were unknown, but it showed her grandfather to be—
The animatronics search was cut off when the girl got closer to him, seeming to study him with her two tone eyes. Seeming to find nothing of interest, she turned back to the small boy. She nodded slightly and backed up, giving them the required space needed. Raina glanced down to the smaller boy beside her, taking in his hopeful look and pleading chocolate brown eyes.
"Y'know what? It couldn't hurt. We could use a good competition, eh kid?" Turning back to the bear-based animatronic, she hissed, "I'm gonna get us something to eat. If anything happens to my brother in your care, I will scrap you myself, understand?"
Before the animatronic could say anything in response to the not-so-hidden threat, the girl was walking away, shying away from anyone who got too close to her. He blinked slowly, before looking down at the youngster thrown into his possession. Freddy sighed and grabbed the kid's hand, sending a sharp look around the building, hoping to try and look out for the untrusting teen.
The bear took to flashing his blue optics around the Pizza Plex, trying his hardest to keep the shadow-like girl in his sight. Surprisingly, as soon as he got a good view of her, she vanished. He clicked his optics and glanced around again, changing some of the settings to try and get a visual on the girl.
"You lost her, didn't ya?" The bear looked to the small boy looking up at him. "I can tell. Don't worry, Raina will come back, she always does. But, you won't see her unless she wants you too, she's always been good at blending in." With that, the boy turned back to the front, as if what he'd just told him was a normal everyday conversation.
The bear raised a metaphorical eyebrow but just shrugged. He figured that this was just how the child was. Perhaps he could try and figure out just who that girl was to the boy. Clearly, she was his sister, but they looked almost nothing alike. The boy walking with Freddy was pale with light brown hair and dark brown eyes. But the girl had black-ish blue hair with tanned skin and freckles, and her eyes were two toned, the left being bright gold and the right a brilliant green.
Speak of the devil and she shall appear, because moments later, the girl was at his side, moving to be in front of Freddy, calling the small boy away from him. As she talked to the boy, Freddy noticed some strange behavior. Whenever the girl was with the boy, she made sure he was always somewhat in front of her, but that she was also able to easily reach him. The bear's optics narrowed slightly. Clearly something had happened if that was the stance she chose with the kid around.
As the two ate, the bear continued to study them. Freddy couldn't figure out what it was that was making his processors go wild, but something about that girl wasn't quite right to his robotic AI. The siblings were an enigma to him, and he just couldn't understand why.
Before Freddy could continue his musings, however, he locked eyes and optics with the girl and she gave him a hard stare that for some reason made him weary. Shaking his massive head, the bear walks closer to the pair, standing just behind the boy. Whatever it was that was causing his programming to go wild, it was also affecting his personality. For some reason, he had this strong feeling of protectiveness that wouldn't leave him, no matter how hard he tried.
After the two humans had eaten, they went the rest of the way into the huge arcade, passing by the DJ animatronic. Raina looked up in slight awe at the giant beast. He was clearly spider-based, and looked to have a piano as a mouth. As he played some catchy songs, she caught the beast's optics, noting they were hidden behind a visor like screen, the said screen glowing in time with the beat of the song.
The DJ took in the siblings' appearance and waved a friendly finger at them, surprising the other animatronic. Sure, the DJ was friendly with all guests, but he didn't usually interact much with them besides a small nod. These humans were just full of surprises, apparently. First, the teen could just disappear, and now the DJ was interacting with them. What next? Would the girl end up being a mechanic or something for them?
Raina looked the DJ over before deeming him friendly enough and letting Gregory go play with the giant spider-like bot. She continued to watch the boy like a hawk, too many people in the arcade for her liking, but she couldn't force the kid to leave the area to put herself at ease, so she made it her mission to try her best to keep both the animatronics and the small boy in her sight.
For a while, that's exactly what she did (and she did it well, thank you very much). Well, at least until a hand was suddenly placed against her mouth, an arm coming to wrap around her body. Raina thrashed about, before she felt someone slam their fist into her sternum, forcing the air from her lungs. As she buckled, she could feel herself being lifted up and carried away from the large crowd. As she slowly regained her breath, she took notice of her surroundings, making sure to mark down anything specific she saw.
She was being carried bridal style, as if the man was trying to make it look like she was passed out. Raina heard the sounds of multiple doors being opened and slammed closed. She could hear the faint sound of people walking and talking, the bustling Pizza Plex getting further and further away. As they got to their final destination, she was thrown to the floor and bound by rope.
Whoever these people were, they came prepared. They were waiting for someone to not be watching their six to strike. As the men came into view she growled. The tallest of the men bent down to her height and eyed her up and down. He was planning something.
Before he could do anything, Raina lunged at him and managed to snag his arm in her mouth, biting down till she tasted the metallic taste of blood. The man yowled and tried to pull away, but didn't manage it without dragging the teen with him. While he was distracted by the pain, she managed to snag a small knife from the belt the guy was wearing.
She was hit on the back of the head, close to the nape of her neck, and slammed into the wall nearest her. Raina growled again and glared at the three men, waiting for a chance to attack. She had to get back to Gregory. Who knows what would happen to the kid without her? She just had to hope that the animatronics would look after him. She had this slight… issue to deal with. An issue that she'd deal with swiftly, of course. She'd just have to figure a way out, first.
Heyo, again. Thanks for reading this chapter, and as the note above stated, this is a fic somewhat inspired by Snapped Up by birdmoss. If you're interested, I would highly suggest going and reading what they've done. They're epic and I really love what they're doing right now. As always, I'll try and get the second chapter out at a reasonable time. But please for the love of the gods' don't quote me on that, lmao. Have a good night/day, and I'll catch y'all on the flip side.
