A/N
Heyo! I actually got a chapter out in recent time? That's unheard of. Anyways, I hope y'all enjoy this chapter. Slight warning, there is a bit of gore, but it doesn't go into detail, just talks about blood and there are a couple fight scenes. Also, y'all won't believe this, birdmoss started following this story! I'm actually so happy about that, lol. I know it's nothing too big, but it just makes me happy that someone who inspired this story is liking it as much as y'all are. Anyways, enough from me, here's chapter two.
Two
Raina watched as one of the men went out of the door they'd come through. She marked that down in her memory, just in case. She had to think of a plan, and fast, if she wanted to get to Gregory before something happened to the boy as well. She continued to study the others in the room, looking for some sort of weakness. People like them wouldn't usually plan something all the way through, so her best bet would be to play on them believing her to be weak.
Taking note of her bound legs and wrists, she scooted ever so slightly closer to the man nearest her. Both men had their back turned, and it was the perfect opportunity to get something over them. Her two toned eyes narrowed as she got closer. Finally, when she was close enough, she started forcing herself to stand. Raina stood to her full height and easily drew herself fully behind the man.
Silently, she brought her arms up, like she was holding a bat, and slammed them into the side of the man's skull. She heard a dull thunk as the man went down, cradling his head in his hands, slamming his knees into the harsh tile. Taking the knife she'd swiped earlier, she managed to cut through the binds on her legs before the other man tackled her. She grunted as she was thrown to the ground, hitting her head harshly against a table nearby, the knife being thrown from her, but not before the man managed to get a cut on her.
Cussing, she glared at the person on top of her, and managed to raise her legs up to her chest and basically drop kicked him off of her. She stood shakily and watched as both men finally got back up. She brought her still tied hands up before her, and tried to guess their next move. One of the guys ran at her, and she did a roundhouse kick, knocking him back again. She ran towards him again and swept up the knife she'd dropped earlier.
She finally managed to get the ropes off from her wrists and flipped the knife to her other hand. She jumped onto some crates and flung herself onto the first man's shoulders. Arching her back, she dragged him down to the floor and twisted around him. Raina grabbed the man's arm and twisted it up behind his back. She snarled and went to stab him, but he managed to get his head just out of the way. The guy yelped and tried to pull away, but that just made his arm wrench further behind his head.
Having enough of this, Raina slammed the butt of her knife into his head, effectively knocking him out. A dangerous smile lit her face as she glanced towards the last standing guy. He shirked back at her look and tried to run out the door, but suddenly found it locked. Raina ran at him and he took off, running around his downed partner and climbing onto the crates she'd been on earlier. Raina snarled and launched after him, watching as he went up onto some rafters.
She followed closely after the frightened man and didn't bother looking around where they were heading. She didn't even notice the lack of humans wandering the backstage-like area. No one was there, as if the Pizza Plex had shut down, it was around eight now, after all.
Raina got closer to the man and managed to shove him against some railings surrounded in glass. The guy in her hold glanced over the safety rails and let out an audible gulp at where he'd ended up running to. He was in the gators area. He was drawn back to the present by the knife being held against his neck. His eyes widened and Raina took in his frightened look with a large, unhinged smirk.
She'd always had a violent tendency for harm, whether that be to herself or others. Maybe that could've come from past trauma, but she didn't really care right then. The man who'd captured her was in her grasp, and looking ever so fearful. She was delighted by it. The fear, knowing she'd caused it, and knowing that she would haunt the man's dreams for ever more (well, if she didn't kill him now).
With a last spring of self preservation, the man tried to shove her back, however, Raina held her grasp and soon they were both flung over the railings. As they fell, Raina managed to flip them so that she was on top, the knife being plunged into the man's lower torso. Oops, she hadn't wanted to actually stab him, oh well. At least it wasn't fatal.
They landed harshly on the floor, something being shoved into Raina's side, just under her ribs. She let out a loud snarl that was sure to invite someone's attention before glaring at the object that protruded from her side. She gawked at the used weapon before glaring harshly at the man who bled out under her. She stood slowly, trying her best to not move what was sticking out from her stomach.
Somehow, on their way down, the man had grabbed a sharp metal rod and had shoved it into her torso. She gripped onto the pole and tried her best to keep the blood flow to a minimum. Giving the man below her one last death stare, she kicked him hard in his head and watched as he slumped over, his consciousness being stolen from him.
Raina let out a growl before she slowly started walking to the curtains that would bring her out into the animatronics stage area. She gently pulled open part of the curtain, making sure that no human was out there, before violently drawing them open and stumbling out from backstage. She coughed and felt it as blood started to dribble from her open lips.
"Well, that's not good…" Raina muttered. How had this day gone so horribly wrong? At least Gregory wasn't here to see this. Sure, the kid was used to seeing her come back injured from someone challenging her, but he'd never seen the object that had caused the said injuries. Raina didn't want the kid to end up like her. This world was far too cruel, but she wouldn't let anything happen to that kid. He'd already been through too much. She wouldn't put him through more hell.
As she wobbled closer to the edge of the stage, something near the side caught her attention. She probably wouldn't have seen it had other people been here. Raina got closer to it and finally figured out what it was. It was a medical station. Probably there if a kid got hurt or staff. She breathed out a slight sigh in relief before she picked up the box of wrappings. Raina glanced over everything that was in the box before her eyes landed on a large amount of wraps.
She let out a large breath and wrapped a hand around the pole in her torso. Letting out the breath, she screamed as she yanked the rod right from her middle. The scream was blood curdling, alerting a certain animatronic that he wasn't as alone in his attraction than he'd thought. His magenta optics whirled towards the hair raising sound, locking onto the curled over form of a small teen.
His optics snagged on the sight of fresh crimson blood. The girl was covered in it, most coming from the giant gash-like hole in her chest. Though, for some reason, he didn't think all the blood she was covered in was hers. But, the real question was how she even got so injured. His massive head tilted at the sound of her whimpering and barely controlled cries of pain.
He moved forward and finally made himself present to the majorly injured teen. She glanced up in surprised fear, her pupils shrunk to nearly a quarter their natural size, adrenaline still running through her veins. She was pale, most of her color lost with the steadily flowing blood. He glanced to her left hand and noticed the white-knuckled clench of her bruised hands over a knife. That's when his eyes lit up. Someone had attacked her. And she'd sent them to the pits of hell from how she looked.
She snarled at him, her eyes still blown wide. He put his hands up, trying to put her at ease. The sound of his robotic joints seemed to make her realize something. As she noticed that he wasn't human, her adrenalin shot body started shutting down. He was close enough to gently catch her before she hit the floor. She hissed a little at him, not quite allowing herself to fall to the sweet sense of unconsciousness. The animatronic had to find a way to let her put the rest of her guard down. He had to get her help and get her out of here, before something else happened.
For a while, the bot just tended to her smaller wounds, a few shards of glass here, and a bunch of bruises and gashes there. He took notice of her busted knuckles, but decided to question it later, when the girl was fully off her high of adrenaline. He had managed to do most of shredded side and glanced at it in slight satisfaction. He was just wrapping her arm (a long gash had gotten there, it looked like it was from the knife in her hands) when he heard a groan coming from the girl.
He glances down and catches the girls two toned eyes. She lets out a slight yelp when she realizes that he's holding her and then screams when she disturbs the wraps around her middle. Confused, Raina glanced down and noticed the bandages wrapping around her midsection. Glancing back up, she takes in the larger animatronic fully. It was Monty, she sluggishly realized.
Raina hums as she takes in the strong arms she's being supported by and puts his chest plates.
"Thanks, Big Guy. How'd you find me, though?" She questions, her voice low and hoarse.
Monty raises an eyeridge and gives the girl a look. "You're in my area of the Pizza Plex, kid. Did you not know that?"
Raina looks around more closely before smacking herself on her face. (Well, that was a dumb decision) She was in the golf course, though, for some reason, she doesn't remember ending up here.
"The last thing I actually remember is fighting that guy and throwing us both off the catwalks. Have you seen him, by the way? Tall guy, kinda lanky?" She states, shrugging her shoulders before hissing.
Monty watches as the teen completely flips a switch and takes to looking the alligator up and down. "Er, no. I kinda stopped to help you." He replies, gently letting the girl down when she starts struggling to move.
"Well, thank you, I 'spose. But, I gotta go. My brother's probably worried about me, and I needa get us home." Before the alligator could even respond, the teen was leaving the room and making her way to the entrance of the golf course. By the time his processors had caught up with what the girl had said, she was already long gone, almost like she'd disappeared.
Raina took a small look around, seeing a couple straggling people walk out towards the exit doors. She went the opposite direction to them and started calling out to her brother. He had to be here somewhere. The boy knew better than to wander off, especially if something happened to her. Raina wouldn't be able to get him outta a jam if he put himself into one. Gregory had learned that the hard way.
She spent hours looking for him, passing by the animatronics green rooms a couple times, barely noticing that only Freddy was there, and it looked like he was talking to someone. Her wounds were starting to hurt again, aggravated by the constant movement, but she pushed through. Raina refused to rest until she found her brother. It had to be close to closing time for the Pizza Plex, and it probably wasn't a good idea to end up trapped overnight. (Though, that would probably be another of the small child's dreams)
Raina had wound up back in Rock Star Row, where all the animatronics green rooms were, when she heard it. The sound of a loud and resounding metal plate falling into place. She glanced to her left in horror and saw the entrance of the Pizza Plex was cut off. She snarled and ran a shaking hand through her hair.
Think. If Gregory knew about the closing of the building, he'd go somewhere that might be safe. Like… she took another look around and noticed a sign pointing to the main lobby, and in turn the daycare. Of course, he's a kid. When kids get scared they try to go somewhere familiar. When we first got here, I'd told him that if there was trouble to go to the daycare attendant.
Nodding in acceptance, Raina started on her new mission. Get to the main lobby and find her way to the huge daycare. And hopefully before some wandering helper bot finds her brother and reports him as abandoned. As Raina walks off, she just misses the snarling of an animatronic disappearing up the stairs she was heading towards. The alligator was on the hunt once more. Even if it was against his will.
Heyo! Hope y'all liked this chapter and enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Next chapter, Raina will do something extremely stupid and it will be based around birdmoss' ideas from one of the somewhat later chapters. (I think like 4 or 5 is when it happens, but idk) Anyways, have a good night/day and I'll catch y'all later! :)
