Salted Tower
Chapter 1 Threat

On Inkwell Isle 4, the reformed Chef Saltbaker was fast at work in his bakery making all kinds of baked goods for the locals and bringing joy to everyone as they thanked him and told him about recent happenings on the island. One interesting story was a sighting of several dozen goblin-like creatures constructing a large tower in the mountains overlooking the town. Neither the King of Games nor Mortimer Freeze took credit for the tower or claimed to be the one having it be constructed. Nobody knew who was behind the construction or what the tower was meant for, but the locals figured it would be a nice tourists attraction to the island. Chef Saltbaker just shrugged and simply thought it was a mystery that would simply reveal itself when the tower was finally done.
Up in the mountains red creatures as Pepperoni Goblins were working hard to construct a large tower. The tower resembled a tall castle-like structure with purple bricks and multiple cracks along its surface. Once the outer structure was finished the Pepperoni Goblins and some other food like creatures began to move furniture and other things into the tower. The mad doctor Dr. Kahl then arrived at the tower in his Automaton's giant head and headed to the top of the tower, where he was given tools and machine parts. Dr. Kahl began to work and construct a large nasty looking laser gun and made sure it was pointed down towards the town and aimed at Chef Saltbaker's bakery. The doctor had been paid to construct the laser and make sure it was aimed at Chef Saltbaker's place along with a few other things. Dr. Kahl had no idea why his employer wanted this, but he wasn't getting paid to ask questions or consider the morality of things.
Dr. Kahl got the last of his money and then flew off in the Automaton's head. The master of the tower then made sure everything in his tower was setup for what he had planned and then headed down to the town.
Chef Saltbaker was just opening his shop up for the day, when a large shadow appeared in the sky and the air was filled with evil laughing. The baker raced outside to find the source of the laughter and was confronted by an odd being.
The newcomer was a giant complete pizza with two red pepperoni eyes, a mushroom nose, and a mouth, mustache, and eyebrows made out of green peppers.
"Who are you?" Asked a somewhat frightened Chef Saltbaker.
"I am Pizzaface and I have come to tell you that soon I will destroy your precious bakery with my laser cannon!"
"What?! Why would you do that?!" Cried a horrified Chef Saltbaker.
"I have my reasons. If you wish to find them out and stop my cannon come to my tower and face me on the top. I'll be waiting for you!" Said Pizzaface before he flew off.
Chef Saltbaker could only look on in horror as he tried to process what had just happened. A couple minutes later Chef Saltbaker raced back into his bakery and quickly made a call to Cuphead and Mugman begging for their help. The brothers said they would come and aid Chef Saltbaker and the baker let out a sigh of relief as he waited for the brothers to arrive.
