Welcome back to The Injustice Wars. Last time, Grodd and Enchantress finally made their move on Kahndaq. Wonder Woman and Belial Aether held them back, even though Blaze and Black Adam were nowhere to be found. Then things got a little tricky once Green Arrow and Black Canary showed up under Darkblood's control. Thankfully a little quick thinking from Belial and some borrowed mental power from Grodd snapped them back to themselves. But in the chaos, both Grodd and Enchantress made it through the suspiciously open portal to the Rock of Eternity. I wonder what's waiting for them on the other side, he said sarcastically. Well, let's not delay it. Let's get into this.

(Our scene opens in the Rock of Eternity, where Grodd and Enchantress have just made it through the portal, and both now stand facing the Wizard's Throne.)

Gorilla Grodd: This is almost too easy.

Enchantress: Speak for yourself, you simian sycophant.

Gorilla Grodd: (Seeing Enchantress is here) You call me a sycophant? Ironic coming from the dragon's wench.

Enchantress: You're just jealous that not even your mother could love you. And you're not going to get Brainiac to notice you like this either.

Gorilla Grodd: (Laughing) You think I give a damn about Brainiac? He's just a means to an end. Once he's got what he wants, I'll take him out before he can destroy Earth, using his advanced technology to rule what is left of humanity.

Enchantress: (Chuckles) I should have known you'd be playing all sides. That's just the type of schemer you are, Grodd.

Gorilla Grodd: At least you acknowledge my intellectual superiority.

Enchantress: If you're playing both sides, perhaps we can strike a deal.

Gorilla Grodd: We both know each of us would betray the other in a second.

Enchantress: (Summoning her magic) It was worth an attempt. Now I have no qualms about killing you.

(As Grodd and Enchantress prepare to brawl, a familiar shadow stands over them, a dragon's shadow)

Blaze: Bold of you to assume either of you will make it out of this.

(As the two realize exactly who's here, a booming voice can be heard echoing in the background)

Black Adam: SHAZAM!

(And with one call of the magic word, both Enchantress and Grodd are hit with Black Adam's lightning, which warps to hold them down, as the two finally reveal themselves)

Gorilla Grodd: What is this?!

Blaze: It's called laying a trap. I didn't expect we'd get both of you, but this is certainly nice.

Enchantress: (Laughing) I have to hand it to you. Luring us both in here with access to the Rock of Eternity. And now I'd bet you plan to use us as bargaining chips to keep Brainiac and my husband at bay.

Blaze: (Subconsciously ticked off that Enchantress called Darkblood her husband, effectively claiming Dragnarok as her mate) Why you...

Black Adam: (Trying to temper Blaze's rage) If you wish to get out of this alive, I suggest you remain silent, witch.

Blaze: Now then, you'll get us in contact with your masters, so we can recover all those we've lost.

(At this point, all Grodd can do is laugh, much to the surprise of everyone else.)

Gorilla Grodd: Please, Brainiac would never bargain over someone like me.

Blaze: Well that's a depressing outlook for you, Grodd. I take it all this is getting to you.

Gorilla Grodd: I was never here for Brainiac. All you've done is put yourselves at my mercy!

(With that, Grodd musters all his strength and breaks free from the living lightning.)

Gorilla Grodd: Now, surrender the Wizard's Throne and I will consider sparing you.

Black Adam: This power will never be yours.

Blaze: For once, we're in complete agreement.

(At this moment, Grodd clearly has nothing left to lose as he charges head on into Black Adam and Blaze. Black Adam unleashes lightning at him but he is not deterred. Even adding Blaze's fire to the mix barely does anything. Grodd is fighting up to the duo, but that's when two blasts of green magic hit Grodd and bring him to the ground as Belial Aether and Wonder Woman step through, as well as showing Enchantress fired the other bolt before neutralizing the lightning holding her down)

Enchantress: You're welcome.

Wonder Woman: You're outclassed, Grodd. Stay down.

Gorilla Grodd: (Now just plain angry) GRODD NEVER SURRENDERS!

(Gorilla Grodd gets up at this point and starts trying to fight just about everyone in sight, throwing his intelligence to the wind in favor of raw simian strength. The rest of the room prepares to fight, while Enchantress quietly sneaks out. The battle is fierce, but ultimately a combination of Belial Aether's magic and Black Adam's lightning pin Grodd to the ground while Blaze surrounds him in fire)

Blaze: Last chance, Grodd. You can't get out of this one. Now call Brainiac so we can put an end to this without more bloodshed.

Wonder Woman: You cannot be serious right now, Blaze. If we let Grodd live through this...

Blaze: Don't even try that with me, Diana! This is a bargaining chip like we've never had! Even if Brainiac doesn't care about Grodd here, he did give him a section of his fleet, I heard the ships overhead. The control there is our best bet to stopping this madman. If we lose Grodd, we lose that.

Wonder Woman: (Drawing her sword) You're just as naive as you were all those years ago.

(Wasting no time, Wonder Woman throws her sword into Grodd's heart, which forces him into the circle of flames, leading to a quick yet agonizing death for Gorilla Grodd)

Blaze: Damn it, Diana!

Black Adam: That was arguably the smartest move we have made today.

Belial Aether: Not helping, Teth Adam!

Wonder Woman: We have more important things to worry about than the death of one villain. Especially since I left the witch alive.

Belial Aether: (Noticing Enchantress is gone) Oh you did more than that. You let her get away!

(Only at this moment do the rest notice Enchantress is gone. Blaze is tempted to say something, but instead just recalls the flames surrounding Grodd's corpse)

Blaze: We will have words about this once all of this is over. (Draws Wonder Woman's sword from Grodd's corpse) But for now, we need to stop Brainiac.

(Frustrated, Blaze just leaves the Rock of Eternity behind, with Belial Aether behind her, leaving Wonder Woman and Black Adam alone)

Black Adam: She grows angrier by the day.

Wonder Woman: We need to deal with her soon.

Black Adam: Agreed. Hopefully Victor Stone has our contingency ready.

Wonder Woman: He better.

(And on that ominous note, our scene ends for today)

And that looks like a good place to wrap up for now. So, that is the end of Gorilla Grodd. There's not much of the Society left standing as a threat at this point. It's really just Brainiac against everybody else. And next time, I will say this much, his endgame begins. More on that next time. So be sure to tune in for that! Same time... same channel!
