I knew that training might not be the easiest thing. I still didn't even know everything that my body could do. I also wasn't sure what Kreese was doing. Even though I didn't like what he taught, I had to admit that he was still a good teacher, but now I knew that I had to learn some all new moves. I wasn't entirely sure how that was going to go to be honest. Even though I knew that I had to learn Miyagi-Do, trying to do things a whole different way sounded like it would be kind of hard.

The first thing that I wanted to do was see Miguel. I wanted to tell him about what I was doing and maybe whenever his spine healed, we would be able to do some of this stuff together. He had gotten the surgery and I was pretty sure that he was going to be better. Maybe it was possible that I was being too optimistic, but I would rather be optimistic and believe that he would get better than be pessimistic and believe that he wouldn't. On top of that, he was the only one that remembered the old me.

Part of me wanted to talk to Robby, but I didn't know what to say to him. I knew that I was strong enough to take on some of those thugs (which I say because they by law criminals), but the idea of being around them scared me. Not to mention, I doubted he remembered me, so I didn't know what the point of me introducing myself as his sister would be.

I then noticed a nurse in the lobby.

"Hey. How'd the surgery for Miguel Diaz go?" I asked. I hoped that she would be able to give me some answers.

"He's awake…a little out of it, but fine." She answered.

"So he's going to be able to walk again?" I asked.

"It doesn't work like that, Sweetie." She declared. I frowned because she was talking down to me. "Time will tell how successful the surgery was, but I can let you see him if you like. He'd probably love to see you."

"No, he should be with his family right now." I stated.

I decided to go to the juvie place anyway. I didn't know how it was going to go, but I really did want to see Robby. I just wanted to know that he was okay. It was probably a bad idea, but I couldn't think of a better way. It turned out that they were going to be working in the soup kitchen. You know making them do community service didn't seem like the worst idea.

"Hey Robby." I greeted him. "It's good to see you."

"Who are you?" He questioned. That was confirmation that he didn't recognize me.

"My name is…Jenny. I'm your…sister." I declared. I didn't know why it was so hard to say those words to him. It was also weird looking up at him.

"What do you want?" He asked. I was expecting more of a reaction to that, but I supposed that Robby didn't have the greatest sense of family, which was definitely my fault.

"I just wanted to see you and make sure that you're okay." I declared. "Is that a black eye?"

"Why do you care?" He questioned. "The guys in there like to fight. You may not know our dad, but I get that from him."

"Look, I'm sure that he was trying to do the best that he could." I argued. Having to confront my failure was kind of disheartening. "I believe that you can get out of this. I believe in you."

"That doesn't mean anything to me." He stated. "People can say that they believe in me all that you want, but when it comes down to it, I know that I'm a fuck-up. Mr. LaRusso said the same thing and look where I am now."

"Hey, quit hogging the line." A woman shouted at me. "Don't make me throw a shoe at you. So do you have a crush on this boy?"

"Of course. Ew." I responded. I probably should have even engaged with her.

"Well you better be eating my soup, Goldilocks. I call dibs on them beans." She declared.

"I'm not leaving until you talk to me." I told Robby.

"Well that's gonna be a while. I don't know if you noticed, but I'm busy." He pointed out.

"Well I'm hungry." I declared. At that point, my phone rang. It was Ali.

"Are you on your way to school?" She asked me. Damn it.

"I'm trying to talk to Robby." I explained. "He's at this soup kitchen right now."

"As much as I appreciate you trying to connect with your brother, you shouldn't skip school to do it." She told me. "Just make an appointment at the detention center. Also you should probably get a note."

"I already got one from the hospital." I declared as I sighed and got up. I would have to try to talk to him later.

When I got to school, I found Moon and Yasmine in the cafeteria, however before I could say anything, Demetri walked in.

"Are you guys ready to rock our Earth Science presentation?" He asked. We were doing a group project and he wanted to do all of the work. I wasn't entirely sure why I was in Earth Science, but I was actually learning some things.

"I'm ready to go back to a world where I don't have to talk to you on a regular basis." Yasmine declared.

"Hey, my popularity is on the rise and yours is on the decline, but maybe we can meet in the middle like a sexual Venn diagram." Demetri declared. Did he really think that would work?

"Dude what the fuck?" I asked. That was one of the lamest…and one of the most disturbing pick-up lines I had ever heard. His confidence was good, but he still shouldn't say things like that.

"So what's under the sheet?' Moon inquired.

"I'm glad you asked." He answered. He seemed like he wanted us to ask because he probably could have brought it uncovered. He then pulled it off to show a temple made of Legos. "Behold what scientists believe to be The Valley when dinosaurs ruled the Earth. Go ahead press the hadrosaur egg."

I pushed the button he made and some smoke came out. That was impressive. I couldn't help but wonder how he had managed to do that.

"Not bad." Yasmine commented. "My parents may not have to pay for my A this time."

"Oh, your parents will never have to pay for an A again." Demetri boasted. Was I the only one who had a problem with her parents paying for an A?"

He then began to talk about how he had built it. I never really got the obsession with Legos but it did look really cool.

At that point, I heard something and quickly threw my hand out to block a ball being thrown before it hit the model. I looked over to see Hawk standing there.

"What is your problem?" I asked him. "You almost destroyed our project."

"My ball just got away from me." He declared. "You've got some nice moves though and your legs look damn good in that skirt."

"Do you really think flirting with me in front of your ex is going to work?" I challenged. I was still blushing because I really didn't like guys flirting with me, especially when they were assholes like him.

"Why do you just back off?" Demetri challenged as he went over to the group of Cobra Kais. He really did have a lot more confidence, but he didn't seem like he was as smart as he was before. I then realized that he was trying to impress Yasmine. "Do you want me to kick your ass again?"

"You landed one kick. You got lucky." Hawk argued.

At that point, Sam walked over. It looked like we might have a fight in the middle of the cafeteria.

"You better back off or you won't get lucky." Sam threatened. At point, I noticed a teacher walking around.

"Like you'll start anything, Princess." He challenged. He must have noticed and was try to egg her on. "Why don't you go sleep around and break someone else's heart?"

At that point, Sam shoved him…right in front of the teacher. I assumed that was just what he wanted her to do. He always was the smartest guy in Cobra Kai. Not to mention, he played the sensitive kid really well. It made me want to hit him, but I knew that was a bad idea.

"Moon, your ex is an asshole." Yasmine told her. I really wished that I wasn't to blame for that. Nothing more hurt than seeing the consequences of my own actions firsthand. Sure I had been able to get Miguel off of it, but it meant that I had failed as a teacher, despite the fact that I had succeeded in teaching them how to fight well.

"So do you wanna hang out after school?" Demetri asked Yasmine.

"Sorry, I'm taking Jenny and Sam to the new Japanese place." Yasmine remarked. So it looked like I wouldn't be seeing Robby after school. I sighed.

Later after school, we were at said restaurant. It had been a while since I had sushi and I still wasn't the biggest fan of it.

"I wanted to kick that guy's ass." Yasmine seethed.

"I don't think you would have been able to do that. He can walk the walk as much as he can talk the talk." I explained. I might have been able to, but I wasn't even sure if he would fight me.

"So why were you late this morning?" Yasmine inquired.

"Well I went to see Miguel at the hospital, but I didn't actually talk to him and then I tried to talk to my brother." I explained.

"How is Robby?" Sam asked in concern.

"Well he wouldn't really talk to me, but I'm pretty sure that he's getting into fights." I explained. "I really want to talk to him, but I don't think he wants to talk to me."

"Well I wish I could help but I don't really know anything about sibling drama." Yasmine declared. She was an only child. I really didn't even know what to do either. One of the biggest issues was that even if I managed to get Robby to talk to me, I felt like it wouldn't be the conversation that we needed to have. I wasn't supposed to be his sister. I was supposed to be his father, who had a lot to apologize for.

"I want to try to talk to him again." I explained.

"Maybe I can help." Sam offered.

"So, what? You two are just going to ditch me?" She asked. That made me feel a little bit bad. This girl seemed to have a lot more depth than someone who left in a hit and run.

"You can come." I offered. "I mean just because you don't know Robby doesn't mean you have to be excluded." I offered. I was a little surprised that I was going to let them help me when it was probably something that I needed to do myself.

"No, it's okay. This is probably something that you should do on your own." She remarked.

So I went back to the soup kitchen and found that he was still there.

"I came back." I told him.

"So how long have you been in the Valley?" He asked.

"It's been about a month." I answered.

"So why is this the first time that we're meeting?" He questioned.

"Well I was in the hospital for two weeks." I explained.

"Okay, that's still two weeks that you could have come to see me since then." He pointed out. I couldn't believe that he was being so self-centered, but to be fair, he probably got that from me.

"It's not easy knowing that your brother is…" I started.

"What? A juvenile delinquent?" He interrupted. "God, you're just like everyone else."

"No I'm not. I want us to have a relationship." I responded as I reached out to touch him.

"Don't touch me!" He declared as he knocked a pot over. At that point, one of the guards came to escort me out.

The following day, I was on the soccer field for gym. It wasn't my first time in gym but I did have to admit that the uniform wasn't the most comfortable.

"These gym shorts pinch in all the wrong places." Demetri complained. He did a lot of complaining.

"Come on have a little school spirit." Sam suggested.

"Go Mountain Lions. Rawr." He quipped as Sam giggled. At that point, Hawk and the others came in wearing their red jerseys.

"They really need to stop acting like they own the place." Sarah commented. As long as they could manipulate the teachers, they kind of did.

"Let's show them that they don't. Besides, what's a game of soccer without a little physical contact." Sam stated. "Let's show that we are not going to bow down to them."

I had to admit that I kind of had fun pushing them around. Hawk decided to crash into someone and push them to the ground because he saw Moon flirting with Piper. I knew that he needed to be brought down a peg and just because I couldn't make an example of him anymore didn't mean that I couldn't get inside his head.

"She loved you, you know." I told him.

"What?" He asked. It seemed like I had gotten his attention.

"Yeah. She told me. You had one of the hottest girlfriends in the school and you messed it up." I declared.

Of course, the game seemed to devolve because everyone kept hitting each other. I could tell that wasn't good for anyone. The coach ended up stopping the game and sent Sam, Hawk, Demetri and several others to the principal's office.

After school, I went to this old milkshake shop since I couldn't really go to the bar anymore. The building had been in the Valley since the 50s and I was surprised that I had never been before. I was a little bit depressed to be honest. Things really weren't going how I planned them. I wasn't entirely sure what I had planned, but it would have been better than this.

"You look like you're a little down." A voice interrupted. I couldn't believe it. There he was. The man who had ruined my life. Okay, so part of that was my fault, but he was also a big factor

"Leave me alone." I told him.

"You know I used to work here. It was a long time ago." He stated. "I've been looking for you. You know I knew your father. I'm here to express my sympathy. My name is John Kreese."

"I said leave me alone." I repeated.

"So, it's Jennifer, is it?" He asked. "That's quite a name you have."

"Hey, give me a chicken sandwich to-go." A police officer asked the counter.

"Just give me three minutes." The cashier responded.

"You've got three minutes." I told Kreese.

"So I've been looking for you. I think you could use to learn some discipline and ability to defend yourself." He explained.

"My mom told me all about how and the terrible influence that you had on my dad's life." I replied. It was weird having this conversation in the third person.

"I helped him." He countered. "I was there for him when his stepfather wasn't. You know Cobra Kai wouldn't even be around anymore if not for him. I just had to honor his legacy."

"I've met your students. Do you honestly think that was what he wanted when he brought the dojo back?" I challenged.

"I'm made it better than anything he could have imagined." He argued. "Those kids were weak and I could teach you the same way. I don't want anyone to be soft. You need to learn the way of the fist."

"Fuck you." I told him. "Now unless you want me to say something to this police officer, stay away from me."

I knew that girls could sometimes threaten people to stay away from them and while it was a little bit hypocritical of me, I wanted him away from me.

"Well my offer is always open." He declared.

"Here you go, Chuck." The cashier told the cop as he handed him a box.

"Looks like my time is up." Kreese declared as he walked away. I still wanted to beat the crap out of that old man, but I didn't even know if this body was capable of doing so. "Think about what I said."

From there, I went home.

"So I heard that some of your friends got in a fight on the soccer field." She responded.

"I didn't hit anyone." I pointed out.

"I know, but maybe you shouldn't be hanging out with those people." She declared.

"Mom…it was Cobra Kai." I pointed out. "Is there anyway that I can get a restraining order against someone?"

"Why do you want to do that?" She asked in surprise. I tried to think of how to explain it.

"Because that guy that taught Dad, Kreese, came to see me today. He wanted me to learn Cobra Kai." I explained. "He freaked me out."

"Did he make any advances on you?" She asked. That was a very disturbing image. I knew I could say things, but I didn't want to lie. My mother had raised me with a sense of integrity and I never felt good lying to people.

"No." I declared.

"I don't think that we would be able to do anything unless there is a sense of actual danger involved." She explained. "I will talk to him though."

I knew what I needed to do was see Miguel. I needed to help him. Yes, I had paid for his surgery, but I had a feeling that he needed more than that. When I got to his room, I found him struggling to reach the remote.

"What are you doing here?" He asked.

"Do you want the phone?" I questioned.

"Yes." He answered before I moved it across the room.

"Go get it." I explained.

"I can't walk. Even with the surgery, I might never be able to." He told me.

"So what you're just going to give up? Have you tried walking?" I challenged. "I'm hearing a lot of negativity. I know I taught you better than that. I am going to help you get back on your feet. Now go get it."

"Yes, Sensei." He declared as he moved the covers and tried to get out of bed. He ended up falling over.

"Okay, so that didn't work." I commented. It would take some time. "But we'll get there. Nurse!"

I didn't know how long it would take, but I knew that I would make it my life's mission to guarantee that Miguel would walk again.

So Jenny talked to both Robby and Kreese for the first time since becoming a girl and neither one really went that well. Also she has to deal with the threat of Cobra Kai at school, but she's still going to help Miguel walk. Please don't forget to review.
