The sun was shining bright in the Fort Worth park, a perfect day for a birthday party! Mew, the light violet stuffed kitten, bounced on her paws as she spotted a delightful sight. Peko, the light yellow kitten, Suu, the light blue one, and Rei, the white kitten, were right beside her, equally excited.
Mew: (bouncing on her paws) Oh, look! A table with cake and snacks!~mya
Mew, Peko, Suu, and Rei scurried towards the pastel pink table laden with a beautiful cake and matching snacks. Mew's violet eyes widened at the sight of the sugary treats.
Mew: (gasps) It's my cake! I'm going to eat it!~mya
Just as Mew was about to hop onto the table, a blur of motion stopped her in her tracks. Yume Hinata rushed in and gently scooped Mew up into her arms.
Yume: Not so fast, Mew! It's your birthday, but we have to sing you "Happy Birthday" first!
Mew blinked, a little confused, nestled in Yume's warm embrace.
Mew: "Huh? Why not~mya?"
Yume: (smiling) Because it's your special day, silly! We want to sing Happy Birthday to you first! It's a birthday tradition!
Just then, a flurry of happy voices approached. Maira Tsukishima, Kotoko Imai, Asahi Minamikawa, Haruhito Sugiyama, Tokiwa Anzai, and Akihito Sugiyama arrived at the park, all smiles and carrying more birthday goodies.
Maira: Happy Birthday, Mew! We made it!
Kotoko: Sorry we're a little late, we were picking up some extra treats!
Asahi: Ready to celebrate, Mew?
Yume, seeing everyone had arrived, beamed at Mew and then at her friends.
Yume: Alright everyone, let's sing! Get ready, Mew!
Yume held Mew a little closer, and everyone gathered around the pastel pink table. They all took a deep breath and began to sing.
All (except Mew): "Happy birthday to you Happy birthday to you Happy birthday, dear Mew Happy birthday to you."
When the song finished, Yume clapped her hands together, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
Yume: "Hip hip ..."
All (except Mew): "... hooray!"
The group cheered loudly, their voices echoing happily in the park. Yume, caught up in the celebratory spirit, took a deep breath and raised her arms high. Everyone followed suit, ready for the next cheer.
Yume: "Hip hip ..."
Everyone, except Mew who was still slightly bewildered but enjoying the attention, raised their hands even higher and jumped up with enthusiasm.
All (except Mew): "... HOORAAAAYYYYYYYY!"
They cheered again, even louder this time! After the final, resounding cheer, Yume set Mew down gently on the table, right in front of the delicious cake.
Yume: And now, for even more treats! I also brought fruit salad and sandwiches!
Yume gestured to Maira, who placed a colourful bowl of fruit salad and a plate piled high with sandwiches onto the table, adding to the birthday feast.
Peko: (eyes wide) Wow! So much food!
Suu: (nodding eagerly) Birthday parties are the best!
Rei: (softly) Thank you everyone for singing to Mew.
Mew, finally understanding what all the fuss was about, looked up at Yume with a bright smile.
Mew: Singing is fun! And cake and fruit salad and sandwiches! Best birthday ever!-mya!
