Retaliation Part 3

Helghast arrives and makes their first strike against Atlesian Forces. But not before dealing with Salem first.

The Helghast Fleet of Cruisers, Arc Cruisers and the Khage make planet side on Remnant now. They are here to make their retaliation on Atlas for destroying Mantle, but before they can do that, they will deal with Salem first and they have the weapon that can end her completely and thus put an end to he never ending war against Salem.

"Just how do they plan to end Salem?" Cinder wonders.

"They are fully aware of her immortality, but Salem still has a weakness", Hakaze said knowing the Helghast know what they are really doing.

What happens next is the bigger cruiser known as the Khage moves into position and fires it's payloads of petrusite missiles that strikes the Monstra where Salem and her minions are in. Lots of screams were heard inside the Monstra due to the effects of the petrusite, Salem and her minions are crying out in pain as they pop like a bubble except in comes with blood, what was surprising is when Salem pop like a bubble there was nothing left of her.

Then all across the planet, all the Grimm disintegrated into nothing.

"So that's the effects of the petrusite weapon that can do to anyone who's hit by it", Salem commented although she was horrified about they all just witness on what the petrusite can do.

"And what happened to the Fall Maiden's magic?" Ozpin ask because he already knows that Cinder stole that power before Amber can transfer it to Pyrrha.

"Unknown, but the Helghast has no interest on any of those or the relics", Hakaze answered.

"Salem has been eliminated", a random Helghast Assault Infantry Trooper told Colonel Mael Radec.

"Excellent, we those threats out of the way we can keep focus on Atlas", Radec said as they move the fleet somewhere else now.

"That man is Colonel Mael Radec and he's in command of the Helghast Forces here in Remnant."

"He seems somewhat ruthless", Blake commented.

"Well you have yet to see him in action", Hakaze said.

Next scene they where able to find a Atlesian Base a distances away from Atlas. So the Cruisers launch their Overlord Dropships into battle, those Overlord Dropship are also carrying their HGH Tanks and other ground vehicles. Also launching from hangar bays are their Jet Fighters and Strike Fighters to give them some air support.

While approaching, many of the Helghast Assault Infantry Troopers are looking through a holo-images notice familiar land vehicles that Atlesian Forces are using in their arsenal.

"That's interesting, it would seem that the ISA were here in Remnant as well, they have ISA Vehicles in their arsenal", the Assault Infantry Trooper name Stratus commented.

"But they are our weapons too since share some of that with them", another Assault Infantry Trooper name Zenix said seeing at Atlesian Trooper using a STA-52 Assault Rifle.

"And ISA as well", another Assault Infantry Trooper name Tenzar said after they can notice another Atlesian Trooper wielding a M82 Assault Rifle.

"So everyone on Remnant are using both Helghast and ISA Weapons", Winter commented.

"That's because later on after the Helghast left Remnant, the ISA came to Remnant they share their arsenals with them too", Hakaze explains how did people in Remnant have ISA arsenals too.

"This might remind the Helghast of their old war against the ISA does it?"

"Oh yes it is Blake."

"Oh those Helghast Attack Fighters, the Jet Fighter is a 1 seater pilot, the Strike Fighters has 2 pilots, but's also a make-shift shuttle that can carry passengers", Hakaze tells them about the attack fighters.

The Helghast Jet Fighters and Strike Fighters move in first and fire their guns and missiles at the Atlesian Forces and destroying an air traffic control tower in the process killing everyone who was in that tower, even destroying most of Altesian Tanks which are the ISA Archer Tanks. Altesian Troopers open fire with their STA-52 and M82 Assault Rifles at the incoming Overlord Dropships but can barely leave a scratch on them.

"Okay here they come", Ruby said knowing the battle is about to start.

"Let's see how can the Atlesians fair against the Helghast", Ozpin commented about this battle is going to go.

"My bet, the Helghast wins this battle", Roman commented.

"For Helghan!"

After all of the Overlord Dropships hover all except for the ones carrying vehicles that lands in a distances away so they deploy their ground vehicles safety. Helghast Assault Infantry Troopers rappel down into battle and charge and fire everything they got at Altesian Troopers although some are killed in the charge.

Eventually their HGH Tanks, Tracked APCs and Troop Carrier Drones arrives to aid them and kills many of the Altesian Troopers with their cannons and machines guns, and some ripped apart.

"Ah, what's that machine?" Jaune asked about the Troop Carrier.

"That's a Trooper Carrier Drone and yeah it acts like if was a Grimm, but those have some defense of it's own, like machine guns", Hakaze explains the details of the Troop Carrier Drone.

Next up Helghast Heavy Troopers arrive and shoots their STA-6 Chaingun and rips many of Atlas Troopers apart all thanks to the ammo that it carries. Helghast Arc Troopers join up too and gives Atlas Troopers the shock of their life with it's VC5 Arc Cannon. Lastly many of the Bullheads VTOLs and Manta Gunships ended getting destroyed thanks to missiles fired by the Helghast Jet Fighters and Strike Fighters before they can take off.

Next up is the Helghast APC saws it's way through the wall and then deploys more Assault Infantry Troopers.

"For the record, the Helghast may have shared their arsenals with the people of Remnant, but not with their advance weapons like the VC5 Arc Cannon use by the Arc Troopers because they haven't develop them yet", Hakaze explains about the advance weapons that the Helghast have but Remnant doesn't.

"Arc Troopers?"

"They just call them that Jaune, they are not referring to you or your family. Arc Weapons is a very powerful electrical beam weapon used by the Helghast, even their Cruisers which is an Arc Cruiser are fitted with them after being modified.

"So Arc and Petrusite are the super weapons of the Helghast."

"Certainly Ozpin, oh and a smaller size VC5 Arc Cannon is used by Hazmat Troopers", Hakaze tells them that another Helghast Infantry have wield a smaller version of the VC5 Arc Cannon.

Inside the Atlesian Base, one of Atlas officer attempts to send a call for help only to get shot in back by a Helghast Commando armed with a LS13 Shotgun and then many of the Assault Infantry Troopers who storms the entire base leaving no survivors and no quarter, even destroy any system so no one will notice their presences.

"Looks like Atlesian Forces stood no chance against the Helghast." Ilia commented after seeing that battle ended like a massacre.

"Helghast have many in numbers and it's too much for Atlesian Forces to handle", Blake commented.

"Good, all Atlesian Forces have been eliminated", Colonel Radec said observing the battle.

Coming up next, the Helghast announce themselves to Remnant.

Since Military land vehicles with wheels and tracked are not so common for the Atlesian Military, they will be using Vehicles that were used by the ISA.
