It was the Monday after the USJ Incident, and Izuku was sitting in his seat at school. He had been told to take the rest of the week after the incident off, but Izuku couldn't rest. Izuku had been using the three days he had to himself to train, lifting weights while periodically channeling One for All into his arms to assist him. He had made some progress, as Izuku was now able to 'turn on' One for All much easier than he could before. He had been training his other Quirks, too, and had managed, if only briefly, to control both Blackwhip and Float at the same time. Izuku had to stop after that, the multiple processes going on in his brain draining his energy faster than regular training.
Now, it was the afternoon, and the class had just had their first Foundational Heroics class since coming back. They were in the classroom, and had just been dismissed by their substitute, Cementoss, since All Might was still recovering. Aizawa was still in the hospital as well, as they had refused to dismiss him, even though he had tried to leave multiple times. He had sustained serious head injuries beyond his scuffle with Nomu, due to hitting his head on the fountain's rim as he had been blown back by the beast's attack.
Izuku waited for some people to leave before making his way over to Hagakure's desk. The two had spoken briefly during their first Foundational Heroics class about how Izuku suspected her Quirk to be something other than Invisibility, Light Refraction. They had then discussed the option of making Hagakure a costume that could render her visible when she wanted, as well as go invisible as well when she called for it. They had agreed that, as soon as the two both had some free time, they would go to the Support Department to get Power Loader's opinion on the subject, and today was that day.
"Hey, Hagakure! Should we head over to the Support Studio?" Izuku asked, gripping the straps on his backpack.
"Yep! Just let me pack up my things!" Hagakure said, excited to get a start on their project.
As soon as Hagakure was ready, the two made their way to the Support Department. Hagakure was bouncing on her feet, so Izuku could tell that she was excited. He had been embarrassed to walk alongside a girl in public at first, since Ashido had teased them about being lovers, but Hagakure had quickly shut her down. Izuku had quickly grown to appreciate Hagakure's energy, being incredibly friendly to just about anybody she ever met. She had this way with people, being able to strike up a conversation with anybody, just as easily as it was to breathe, that Izuku simply didn't understand. He always stuttered and was nervous around new people, especially new people that happened to be girls, so he was proud of himself that he had managed to forge such a friendship with Hagakure.
When the two arrived at the Support Department, they found it smoking. Izuku and Hagakure took a large step back and examined the door closely, little plumes of smoke billowing from the gaps between it and the frame and floor. Izuku could smell something burning, but pressed on, opening the doors to see what looked like a power suit from a video game, a girl with pink dreadlocks on the ground who looked strangely happy with the situation, and Power Loader, the Support Course teacher for the first years. The course was small enough that there were only one class per year level, so they only needed about three at any given time. Both of them were covered in soot and ash, and Power Loader did not look thrilled about it.
"Hatsume, what did I say about causing explosions?" Power Loader asked, hands on his hips.
"To not do it?" the girl, Hatsume, apparently, asked.
"Exactly, and what just happened?" Power Loader asked.
"An explosion!" Hatsume cheered.
"Exactly. Do you see where you went wrong?" Power Loader asked.
"Nope. You know my motto, Power Loader! Failure is just an opportunity to improve!" Hatsume said, climbing from the ground.
"Why does she have to be my favorite?" Izuku could hear Power Loader muttering.
"Um, Power Loader, sir?" Izuku said, making his and Hagakure's presence known.
"Ah! You're the Hero Course students from Aizawa's class, right?" Power Loader said, snapping out of his quiet disappointment.
"That's right. We're here to talk to you about a new costume for my friend, Hagakure," Izuku said, stepping into the studio.
"Let's talk in my office," Power Loader said, trying to wipe the soot from his costume, but failing miserably.
As the three sat in Power Loader's office, Izuku looked at Hagakure to urge her to explain her situation for herself. She cleared her throat, obviously not expecting it, but started talking regardless.
"Because I can't really 'turn off' my Quirk, I've been wearing only gloves and boots as my Hero costume. This is … clearly a bad idea, so I've been wondering if I can get a costume made from a material that can turn Invisible with me, as well as make me visible," Hagakure said, gesturing wildly with her hands.
"Turn you visible?" Power Loader asked, intrigued.
"Ah, well, Midoriya had this idea about my Quirk that seems to work really well, given how my Quirk actually works," Hagakure explained.
"Well, let's hear it," Power Loader said, turning to Izuku.
"Okay! When Hagakure first explained her Quirk, Invisibility, to our class, I thought there was something off about it. Light passed through her, according to Hagakure, but she can still see. Not only that, but Hagakure has said that even she can't see herself. That meant that light was making contact with her retina, but the light that was hitting her just wasn't bouncing back into our or her retinas, allowing us to see her. I thought that, instead of Invisibility, Hagakure's power could be Light Refraction, the power to bend light around her in a bubble, just above her skin, so that it reached her retina, allowing her to see, but refracted around her to render her invisible to other people, as well as herself," Izuku explained, making hand gestures to visually explain how the refraction worked.
"Well, that's certainly an interesting theory; with evidence, too. How would you propose a costume that could inhibit this power, which seems to be passively active," Power Loader asked.
"I think that the school could employ the same technology that Tartarus uses to cancel the Quirks of Mutant Class Villains," Izuku said, nervous to hear the response to his suggestion.
Tartarus was the most infamous prison in Japan that held all the most dangerous and evil people in the country. It had been used for a century, and anyone who was bad enough to get sent to Tartarus never came back. Nowadays, it was used almost exclusively for A-Rank Villains, like Toxic Chainsaw, and above, housing some of the most dangerous criminals to walk the face of the earth. They used a more advanced version of the Quirk cancelling handcuffs that some Heroes with the power to affect Quirks, like Aizawa, helped the police force develop. This technology, at the power that Tartarus used it at, could return Mutant Class Quirk users, who were permanently transformed into humanoid forms, back to regular people when under the effect of the devices, rendering them Quirkless and unable to escape or fight back.
"Huh. That's a bold request, Midoriya. Are you sure?" Power Loader asked.
"Absolutely. If we can implement that technology into a costume, Hagakure could finally have the chance to see herself, as well as take her Heroics to a whole new level. It can only be beneficial," Izuku explained.
Power Loader looked to be considering it, as he leaned back, looked at the ceiling and began to twiddle his fingers. Izuku turned to Hagakure and smiled, and he could tell she was grinning from ear to ear as well. He had gotten better at reading her just by her energy and the way she waved her arms around when she spoke, but that was by necessity.
"Alright, I'll try. This is very advanced technology, Hagakure, so don't be disappointed if I can't get a hold of anything," Power Loader said, trying to look her in the eye.
"As long as you try," Hagakure said, her voice even.
"Okay. I'll get back to you about this when I can," Power Loader said, waving the two out of his office.
Outside the office, the two were positively radiating joy. Izuku hadn't expected that to go as well as it had, and it looked like Hagakure was even more excited. She was dancing around, getting out all the energy that Izuku could tell she had been holding in that whole time. Hagakure bounced around, letting out all that nervous energy and turning it into joyous, celebratory energy.
"Thank you, Midoriya! Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!" Hagakure said, huggin Izuku tightly.
"You're welcome," Izuku laughed.
The first time Hagakure had hugged Izuku, she had been in her Hero costume. Needless to say, Izuku had been extremely embarrassed, to the point of shutting down entirely. She had also given him a kiss on the cheek, which also made him short circuit. Now, Izuku knew that she was prone to sudden displays of affection, and kind of expected it from Hagakure now. He simply let it happen, and when she pulled away, gave her his best smile.
"This is really happening!" Hagakure said, seemingly fanning her own face with her hands.
"It really is," Izuku repeated.
"I'm gonna see myself!" she said to herself.
Hagakure paused, and her arms went limp.
"Oh, God! I'm gonna see myself!" she said, considerably more panicked.
"Wait, what? Why is that bad?" Izuku asked.
"What if I don't like what I see? What if other people don't like what they see?" Hagakure asked.
Izuku panicked. He didn't expect this, as Hagakure had always seemed so confident. Hell, she wore nothing but boots and gloves during a class not four days ago. Izuku realized that she was probably so brazen about that because she thought it had been necessary. Hagakure probably never thought that there was an alternative, so accepted the reality of risking hypothermia by attending Foundational Heroics.
"Hey, that won't happen. I'm sure that, w-whatever you look like, people won't judge you for that. They'll like you just the same, because y-you're a good person with a good heart. That said, I'm sure you're … b-beautiful, inside and out," Izuku said, trying not to stutter so much. He wasn't used to comforting people, but he liked to think that he was getting better at talking to people due to his position as Class Representative.
"Thanks, Midoriya. For all of this. I'm glad that you were elected as our Class Rep, 'cause I don't know that anyone could live up to the role like you. That's why I voted for you, anyway," Hagakure said, before turning around and leaving.
Izuku left after that. He made his way through the halls, making his way to the train station. After a few minutes, Izuku received a message, and pulled his phone out of his pocket to check what had been sent. It was from All Might, telling Izuku that the Nomu was confirmed to have multiple Quirks, and that Shigaraki hadn't been bluffing at the USJ. That confirmed the involvement of All for One, confirming that All Might actually hadn't defeated him all those years ago like he had believed.
He could've sworn that he felt the presence of one of the previous wielders of One for All, but when he turned around, found nothing. It was the strangest thing, too. Of the two past wielders Izuku had met, Daigoro Banjo and Nana Shimura, the two had distinct auras. Daigoro, the original user of Blackwhip, was more gruff and aggressive, whereas Nana was more maternal, bringing a sense of peace with her. He wondered if the other predecessors would have unique feelings associated with them, as Nana had described his two Quirks so far. Blackwhip was conjured by tapping into a sense of, not anger, but assertion. Blackwhip worked best when Izuku wanted to change something, and it manifested itself to help him do that. Float, on the other hand, was unlocked during a moment of sacrifice, of letting himself fall to protect Shinso, so Float worked best when he was motivated to become a Hero so that he could protect people. It was funny, but it worked.
Izuku continued toward the train station, exiting the campus and walking out into the city. He got close to the station before his phone rang, startling him out of his train of thought. He looked at his phone, and saw the contact read out 'Ochako Uraraka'. Izuku picked up, not having heard from Ochako since she took her leave of absence the day before the USJ Incident.
"Hey, Ochako," Izuku said, answering the phone.
"Hey. Do you mind coming over today? I'm … getting kinda lonely," Ochako said, with a long sigh during her pause.
"Aren't your parents home?" Izuku asked.
"Uh, no. They're … out," Ochako answered, with another odd pause in her speech.
"Uh, sure! I'll come over. Just text me your address and I'll head over now, since school just let out," Izuku said nervously.
Honestly, Izuku wasn't sure he could handle being in Ochako's home. He could barely handle calling her by her given name, but it was what she wanted, so he did it. Izuku had only ever been to a friend's house once, and it was Bakugo's back when they weren't strangers with nicknames for each other. Izuku didn't know how to feel about being invited into Ochako's house, especially without supervision from her parents. He decided to suck it up and go, not wanting Ochako to feel even worse about her leave of absence due to his own mistake.
Izuku, once he had received her address, started making his way to Ochako's house. It was only a few blocks from UA's campus, so Izuku used the chance to get in some exercise. It was a nice part of the city, and he hadn't had a real chance to explore it, since he lived a twenty minute train ride away. He usually ended up having to run to the train to catch it if he wanted to be home in time for his mother to start dinner. The Midoriyas usually ate an early dinner and went to bed early, due to both the mother and son needing to be up early in the morning.
He made his way to Ochako's house and, upon arriving, found it to be an apartment complex similar to his own. He looked once more at the text that contained the address, seeing that Ochako lived in Apartment B12, so Izuku walked up the stairs and walked down the catwalk until he got to the twelfth door, and knocked.
Almost instantly, Ochako opened the door with an intensity that rivalled All Might's. She stood there, leaning against the frame as if she hadn't just almost ripped the door off with feverish strength. Izuku watched as she tried to prop herself up on the doorway without putting a lot of pressure on her arm cast, but failed spectacularly and settled for standing normally.
"Uh, hi," Izuku said.
"Hello! Come in," Ochako said, walking back into the apartment.
Izuku followed Ochako in, and saw that the apartment was small; too small for a family. He started getting a bit too suspicious about Ochako's situation for him to hide it, and she noticed immediately, sheepishly admitting what she had been hiding.
"I actually live alone," Ochako revealed.
"Why don't you live with your parents? Why would you lie about that?" Izuku asked.
"My parents live in Mie Prefecture," Ochako said, sitting down on the ground below a window.
"You'd … be better off going to Shiketsu Academy, then. Why choose to go to UA when you know you'd have to leave your family?" Izuku asked, looking around for a sofa, but starting to connect dots when he couldn't find one.
"UA has a free entrance exam. I could never afford to go to Shiketsu, so if I wanted to be a Hero, I needed to go to UA," Ochako said, leaning against the wall with a soft thud.
"Ochako … you're poor," Izuku said, figuring out what was going on.
"Yeah. My parents … they own a small construction company in Mie Prefecture, but we're flat broke," Ochako said, tearing up a bit.
"But … if you were to use your Quirk, you could move all the heavier stuff around, and they could sell their heavy machinery and make some money," Izuku said, sitting down next to Ochako.
"I know, right? That's what I said! When I said that, though, my parents told me that what would make them happy was if I lived my dream. My dream, though, is for them to live a happy, comfortable life. If I can't give them that, what kind of a daughter would I be? What kind of a Hero would I be?" Ochako explained.
"You'd be you. That's good enough. That's more than good enough, because it's you. You'd be the daughter that tried with everything they had to provide your parents with what everyone wants, a comfortable, happy life with a daughter they can be proud of. I know that's what my Mom wants, but …" Izuku trailed off, knocking his head against the wall softly.
"What about your Mom?" Ochako asked, wiping the tears from her cheeks.
"We had this … argument the day after the USJ Incident. She wanted me to reconsider staying at UA after the battle. Sure I had gotten hurt, but the majority of my injuries came from myself, from overusing my power. She understood that, but she still wants me to drop out. She can't handle it, but I know that I can, and I want to be a Hero, because helping people makes me happy, and being happy makes her happy, and it's all just a jumbled up mess," Izuku said, sighing deeply.
"I … don't know what to say to that. I only think that you should do what you think is the best for both of you. If that means leaving UA and not becoming a Hero, but giving your Mom peace of mind, then do it. If that means staying, but disappointing your Mom, then do it. I'm not telling you what to do, I'm telling you that you know what to do, but you don't want to do it," Ochako said, staring up at the ceiling.
It clicked for Izuku. Ochako was right; he did know what he wanted to do. He wanted to stay at UA, but he didn't want to make Inko feel like she was being disregarded, or left behind. Izuku knew that he wanted both things, but he had felt what he wanted more as soon as both options were made known to him. Izuku wanted to stay at UA, and he was willingly to do almost anything to make that happen, even letting Inko hate him. He also knew that, deep down, Inko would never truly hate him, but this rift would form between the two if he made the decision to stay at UA, and he knew that, no matter how hard he tried, he might not be able to close that rift up again, and that terrified him.
Izuku looked over at Ochako. She was looking up at the ceiling, her face blank. She was acting like she hadn't just said one of the most impactful things that Izuku had ever heard. Izuku couldn't believe that she had said it, because Ochako hadn't displayed, at least openly, the kind of emotional maturity to come to these conclusions. Izuku smiled, knowing that he had made an incredible friend.
"Thanks, Ochako. You're really great. Thanks for helping me," Izuku said.
"Hey, thank you for helping me. I don't feel so lonely now," Ochako said, playfully punching Izuku on the shoulder.
"Y'know, you could always come and stay with me and my Mom if you want. You don't have to stay in this place, without a sofa, a TV, a proper kitchen or even a real bedroom. I can see that you're basically just living in one room, so it'd be a nice change of pace to have your own room, wouldn't it?" Izuku offered.
"You'd really do that for me? I mean, we haven't known each other very long, and I would hate to intrude," Ochako resisted.
"No, really, we'd have you in a heartbeat. It isn't right for you to live alone, especially without school to keep you occupied. I'll talk to my Mom, and if all goes well, you could come and stay with us," Izuku said, standing up.
"Wow. Thank you, Izuku," Ochako said, joining Izuku in standing.
"I'll let you know how it goes!" Izuku said, moving toward the door.
"Okay! Thanks for visiting!" Ochako called out, as Izuku closed her door.
Izuku ran all the way home, in between riding on transportation. He got home as fast as possible, dumping his backpack and rushing into the living room to check if Inko was there. Luckily, she was still awake and watching TV. The strange thing was, she looked angry; angrier than Izuku had ever seen her, and that rage was entirely directed at Izuku as he slid into the room, having empowered his legs with One for All briefly to get home faster.
"Izuku Midoriya! Where have you been?" Inko asked, pointing an accusatory finger at her son.
"I was with a friend! Ochako Uraraka! She's been absent from school lately, and she lives alone, so she asked if I could keep her company, so I did. Sorry I didn't tell you, but I was caught up in a few different things, so-" Izuku explained.
"No. That isn't good enough. I was worried sick about you, Izuku. You do not get to run around, without my knowing, and do whatever you want, especially after a Villain attack. That just isn't something that you can do," Inko said.
"I-I'm sorry, Mom. I didn't know you'd be this upset. I would've called you to let you know, I promise, I just got swept up in some things," Izuku said, sitting across from his mother hesitantly.
"What things?" Inko asked.
"Well, I helped a friend, Toru Hagakure, get an idea off the ground with our Support Department. Then, I went and talked to O- … Uraraka, and-" Izuku tried.
"That's not good enough. You had me worried out of my mind, calling people for two things?" Inko asked, fuming.
"Not to be rude, but don't you think you're overreacting a bit?" Izuku asked, furrowing his brow.
"Overreacting? OVERREACTING! I think it's perfectly reasonable for me to be that worried when my only son, who has just been the victim of an attack by Villains, goes missing without a word for the night!" Inko shouted.
"I think it's perfectly reasonable for me to want to do things with the first friends I've had in a decade! I'm sorry that it slipped my mind, but I'll let you know if things are happening next time. That being said, I was gone for an hour and a half. I thought you'd have more faith in me than to think I'd be kidnapped in broad daylight, in the same city as UA, the single largest concentration of Heroes and Heroes in training in the east half of Japan!" Izuku said, raising his voice slightly louder than usual.
Inko pulled back, never hearing this kind of tone from her son. Izuku realized that he had raised his voice, and immediately went to apologize, but was silenced when Inko raised a finger as a placating gesture.
"Where was this Izuku when Bakugo was tormenting you?" Inko asked.
"Wha-? You knew about that?" Izuku asked, his eyes widening.
"Of course I did. What kind of a mother would I be if I didn't notice the bruises, the burns and the singed clothes? The flinching when I raised my hand? The nervous shuffling when your notebooks were taken away? You were hurting, Izuku. Of course I noticed," Inko said.
"Then why didn't you do anything about it?" Izuku asked, standing up.
"I tried. Don't you think that I tried? I told his mother to get him to stop, I told the school, and I told the police, but nobody cared about a Quirkless child. Nobody cared about me as a result. I used to get men on my doorstep every week before you were diagnosed, you know, even when Hisashi was still with us. When they found out I was a Mom, they still didn't care. When they found out that you were my son, however? That's when they went away, word quickly spreading that I was wrong, somehow. That I was a bad egg that had already gone rotten. I resented you for that. I … hated you, for a time, and thought that … that what Bakugo was doing to you was deserved, in a way. If I couldn't be happy, then neither would you," Inko said, her face falling into an emotionless mask.
Izuku, for the first time, felt that Inko's arguments were truly unfair. She knew what Bakugo had been doing to him, and did nothing about it because …? Why? She stopped getting suitors? What kind of a mother was that? A bad one at best. An enabler at worst. That did it for Izuku, and he walked over to his backpack, having slung it over a kitchen chair, and picked it up. He then began to walk toward his bedroom, and Inko followed him.
"We're not done with this conversation, Izuku," Inko said.
"Yes, we are," Izuku said, slamming his door shut with Blackwhip as he entered his room.
Inko ripped open the door, seeing Izuku open his drawers and pull clothes out of it and stuff them into his small, All Might themed suitcase. He was tearing up, but had his mouth set in a line. Izuku knew that he probably looked like a mess, like someone who wasn't fit to go anywhere on his own, but he needed to leave, and he needed to leave for a long time to get his mind away from the hellish confession he had just heard from his mother's own lips.
"Izuku, what are you doing?" Inko asked.
"Leaving. I'm going to Ochako's apartment and I'm staying with her. Don't look for me, please. We're students of UA, Mom. We'll have the Heroes' favor a hundred percent of the time," Izuku said, slipping his notebooks into his bag.
Inko tried to pull one of the notebooks toward her with her Quirk, Attraction of Small Objects, thinking that if she had one of them, he wouldn't leave. The notebook slid out of Izuku's hand, mostly because he hadn't been expecting it, and the book started to float toward Inko's hand. Izuku shot out Blackwhip, and immediately caught it in his strand, yanking it back to himself and breaking Inko's hold on it without any effort.
Izuku finished filling his suitcase with the most important clothes he thought he'd need, and looked at Inko with a sorrowful expression. He then turned and, without warning, leapt out the open window with his backpack and suitcase, activating Float and spinning around to maintain eye contact with Inko, who was looking at him like he had grown a second head.
"I unlocked another Quirk. I've got four left. I think you should just forget about One for All for now," Izuku said, before dropping out of the air, escaping Inko's line of sight.
He ran into the night, knowing where to go from the text still in his messages that held Ochako's address. He knew that he was getting too tired to run the whole way there again, so stopped at a tall building and jumped to the top using Float. He then faced the direction he knew Ochako's apartment to be in and, using the absolute maximum of One for All, jumped into the air in that direction, using Float at the peak of his jump to soar through the air, safe under the cover of night.
As he flew through the air, he had time to think about what he would say to Ochako once he appeared on her doorstep. He thought about saying 'Hi, Ochako, I just ran away from home and I need a place to stay!', but that didn't quite sound right to him. He settled on a polite greeting and request to stay the night before getting something permanent.
When Izuku landed, after having to jump a few more times, he immediately felt a hole in his core, like someone had snuffed out a part of his heart. Izuku knew this feeling; Erasure was in effect. He looked around, trying to find Aizawa's signature binding cloth, but found nothing, probably due to his teacher being in his natural element.
"Okay, Aizawa. I give up!" Izuku said, putting down his suitcase and raising his hands.
Aizawa jumped off the roof and landed in a crouched position, impressing Izuku. For a man with no physical Quirk, the man did move faster than a natural human. He didn't know how Aizawa did it, probably unhealthy amounts of training, but he'd ask later.
"Midoriya, what the hell are you doing?" Aizawa asked.
"What are you doing? You're supposed to be in the hospital," Izuku said, narrowing his eyes.
"I got released this afternoon. They told me not to resume Hero work for two weeks while I replenish my energy, but other than that, I'm completely fine. You aren't fine, though, so explain to me why the hell I got a call from your mother telling me that you'd run away in the middle of the night, headed toward Uraraka's address," Aizawa said, leaning casually against a pole.
"We … had a little fight. She basically told me that she believed my tormentors during my childhood, and that she had wanted me gone. So I left. I went to the only place I could think of, Ochako," Izuku said, running his fingers through his hair.
"Did … your Mom hurt you?" Aizawa asked, pushing himself to a standing position.
"No. God, no. She just … opened up an old wound, emotionally. I wasn't treated the best throughout my childhood. Everyone believed me to be Quirkless, so I was bullied relentlessly. I only recently manifested my Quirk a few months ago," Izuku admitted.
"That's why your Quirk is so unpredictable and out of control? You're discovering new uses and applications for your powers on a realistic timescale, it's just that that timescale has been seriously skewed by about a decade," Aizawa muttered.
"Yeah. Are you going to take me home?" Izuku asked.
"Do you want to go home?" Aizawa asked back.
"No. Anywhere but there," Izuku said, a tear falling.
"It hasn't been used in a while, but UA has something for this kind of thing. It's meant to protect students that become a high priority target for Villains, but I think it can help you as well," Aizawa revealed.
"Really? What is it?" Izuku asked.
After a trip to UA's campus, Izuku stood outside a room in the teacher's lounge, hidden from view under normal conditions, but the door to which was revealed with the flick of a switch on the wall. He stepped inside, finding it to be bare, with a bed and a desk, nothing else decorating the small room.
"A live-in system?" Izuku asked.
"Yeah. Like I said, it's usually only used for Villains' priority targets, but it hasn't been used in about twenty years. I'll file the paperwork for you to transition into the live-in system. I'm sorry it ended up like this, Midoriya. You're a good kid," Aizawa said, walking away from Izuku.
Izuku looked around the room, taking in the pathetic atmosphere. This was better than nothing, Izuku decided, though he'd really like Ochako's company at the moment. He changed into regular clothes, still having been wearing his uniform, and went to sleep, having nothing but turbulent dreams about All for One's prophesied return.
End of Arc 3: Invasion
