Reimagining of the 2011 remake. When American maths teacher David Sumner and his British wife Amy move to her childhood home of Wakely with their eight year old daughter Karen for the Christmas holidays, they hoped for a nice relaxing time. Unfortunately, jealous exes and dangerous workmen have other ideas. These events all lead to a break in and a violent conflict.

Set after the ending to the 2011 film. David and Amy face the aftermath of the siege head on as emergency services arrive at the farmhouse. The situation becomes more complicated when Amy opens up about what's really been causing her panic attacks. Will the Sumners be able to repair their relationship and will Amy get justice?

AU Fix-it fic for the 1971 film. When David finds the workmen abandoning him, he follows them back to the village and soon catches Scutt raping Amy. David and Amy must now navigate the difficult road to recovery while also trying to fight for justice, but eventually, they must fight for their lives when several residents come to Trencher's Farm for blood.
