Showing off

Harry parked the car by Ferngale. He looked down at Teddy. "Do you need anything from the house?" he asked Teddy.

Teddy shook his head. "No, I'm okay," he said.

"And you will head home to pick things up after I have added you two to the wards at Blackbird," Harry said. He wrapped an arm around Draco and made sure they held onto each other before he teleported them over. Teddy bounced through the wards, and Harry let go of Draco before stepping through. He reached out until he was touching the outer wards. "Touch the wards," he said. "They won't hurt you."

Draco raised his hand until he was pressing his hand against the wards. Harry's hand was slightly broader than his. He looked down at his so as Scorpius reached out and pressed his hand. The boy passed through the ward and smiled up at Harry. "What about dad?" he asked.

"It is a little harder to let him through. Go with Teddy, I will bring Draco as soon as I can," Harry said.

Teddy grabbed Scorpius hand. "Come one Scor. Dad will bring Mr Draco, I promise," he said. "I'm building a big castle, do you want to see?"

Scorpius nodded and followed Teddy inside.

Harry's eyes glowed as he entered magesight so he could slowly allow Draco past his wards. "My wards aren't happy with your mark," he said. He sighed. This hadn't been a problem back at Ferngale. Was there really such a big difference. He would have to fix that later. "Could I check if Neville and Hannah can come by to look after the boys for a bit, because I will have to compromise too much of their safety to let you in?" He stepped out so he was standing next to Draco. "I'm sorry. I didn't think it would be this much of an issue."

Draco was torn between asking for his son back so he could leave, and going with Harry, if only so he could get rid of the blasted mark. "Neville… Longbottom?"

Harry nodded. "He is a mage, and we are allied," he said. "He will not cause Scorpius harm. Not that he can, not under my wards. If you don't want to, I'll go in there, and I'll explain it to Scorpius and get him back out here for you right now."

Draco closed his fists. He was sort of glad Harry wasn't standing on the other side of the wards where he couldn't go. What should he do? He wanted… He wanted to be rid of the remains of the mark. "Call Longbottom," he said. "I want this damn poison out of my body." He looked up at Harry and there was determination in his grey eyes.

Harry sent a message patronus off before reaching out to take Draco's hands. "The mark is the problem. I promise the mark is the problem. Actually, I can do more than that. I can prove it. Reach through the ward with your other hand," he said.

Draco smiled. Harry really wanted him to be able to go through his wards. He wouldn't be this desperate to prove that it could be fixed otherwise. He reached out with his right arm and his finger moved through the ward. He let go of Harry and placed the other hand against the ward. "This is strange," he said. He moved in under the wards. Everything but his left arm could pass through just fine. "I didn't think it would be quite that obvious," he said before stepping back out. The magic in there were just as loving as the magic at Ferngale. He turned around as Neville appeared.

"You need help with Teddy, Harry?" Neville asked as his eyes trailed over to Draco. "Or is this something else?" He sounded confused. Just like with Harry, there was no animosity from him though, and Draco found that surprising since so many acted like he was awful.

"I want to remove Draco's Dark Mark. Both Teddy and his son Scorpius are in the house. I can't get Draco through the wards because of the mark. Could you look after the boys for a few hours, so we can deal with this?"

Neville nodded. "Okay," he said. "You should probably tell the boys what is going on, though."

Harry nodded. He clutched Draco's arm before heading in through the wards.

"So, have you and Harry been seeing each other for a long time?" Neville asked. He assumed not since Harry hadn't said anything, but you never knew with Harry.

"Today is the first day we met. Our sons have been playing together since April, though," Draco said.

"Oh, I see. You seem quite friendly with each other for two people who only just re-met, especially considering your past," Neville said. "Though, it isn't that much of a surprise with Harry. When he really knows he likes someone, he doesn't move slow."

Draco's eyes narrowed. "You say that like you have seen this before," he said.

Neville nodded. "Susan Bones two years ago. They were living together in just a few weeks," he said. "Everyone thought they'd be married within a year the way they were going."

"And then what happened?" Draco asked.

Neville shrugged. "Susan got a job in Japan and Harry wasn't going to uproot Teddy, so they broke up. There were a lot of tears," he said.

Harry walked out to them and he could feel that something was up. "What are you guys up to?" he asked.

"If Susan walked in tomorrow, would you get back together with her?" Draco asked.

Harry glared half-heartedly at Neville. "No," he answered Draco. "I loved her, but the moment we decided that she was going because that was what she wanted, I made it very clear that under no circumstances was I going to get back together with her. She is engaged to a guy named Otori Taeko I think. The wedding is set for the Autumn, at some point… September, I think. I have the invitation lying around," he said dismissively.

"You are going?" Draco asked.

"Yes," Harry said. "Teddy really likes Susan, so I see no reason why not. She was and has continued to be a good friend." He walked up to Draco and grabbed him. "You are acting very defensive," he said. "I already told you I will answer your questions. Ask and I'll answer."

Draco wrapped his arms around Harry's shoulders slowly. "I was just curious," he said.

Neville shook his head. "I'll go in and look after the boys now. You two should get to Gringotts," he said loudly before walking through the wards.

"Longbottom said it went fast," Draco said.

"I never force relationships. If it feels right, I'm all for moving fast. If my partner has reservations about that, I'm fine with it. We will move at whatever speed you are comfortable with, because I know I'm interested in you," Harry said before teleporting them over to Gringotts.

Draco looked around as they landed. "Private entrance?" he asked.

"Goblin arrival point," Harry said as he moved away from Draco so he could take his hand. He led Draco through the corridors down to the medical bay quickly. "Glint, I need a ritual room," he called as they entered her wing.

"Dwayna get Master Black a ritual room and monitor him," Glint said. She looked up. Well, that was an interesting person for Harry to bring. At least that meant she knew what he was planing on doing.

Harry walked into the room Dwanya led him to and snorted as he saw the gashes in the walls. "You never managed to fix this?" he asked.

"It gives character," Dwayna said before walking out again.

Draco looked at the walls. "You know why it looks like that?" he asked.

"They removed my Wenlock-seal. That's what my magic did to the walls. The people were fine, though," Harry said as he walked into the centre of the room and sat down.

"How much magic was it suppressing?" Draco asked.

"Half," Harry said.

Draco looked around the room as his brain caught up with what Harry was saying. "Wait, you fought the Dark Lord on half magic?" he asked. Suddenly, the idea that people would brand Harry a Dark Lord if he tried to do something about the issues in the magical world didn't seem so farfetched to him.

"Yes," Harry said. "Come join me." He held his hands out to Draco. "And don't call him a Dark Lord. His name was Tom Riddle. Don't give him more power than that."

Draco took Harry's hands and sat down. "That is easy for you to say. He didn't live in your home," he said.

"No, he just wanted me dead more than any other person in the country," Harry said. He moved closer to Draco. "I'm going to release my magic. I need you to do the same. Know that I am naturally resistant, so you aren't likely to hurt me." He took Draco's left arm and held it in his hands as he released his magic slowly.

Draco drew a deep breath as Harry's magic surrounded him like a gentle wave. There was so much of it, and he knew this was just the excess. He looked down at his arm. He had spent the past three years with his magic bound the way it was. He had to for his son's sake. Releasing it now was scary.

Harry activated his magesight and watched as Draco shifted through his own magic. Slowly, he felt Draco's magic flow out around them and join with his own. Much like with Neville, their magic just mingled comfortably. That was until the magic of the mark started bleeding out. Both Draco's magic and Harry's rose at that.

Draco gasped, followed by a whimper as their magic attacked what it saw as a threat. Harry pushed back and took control of the magic around him as he slowly moved through the layers of the mark. "So much of this is in parseltongue," he said. "I have the clusters." He let go of Draco and conjured a gag. "Bite down. This will hurt, and I don't want you to bite your tongue off."

Draco bit down on the wooden piece. He took a few calming breaths before the pain shot through him and he cried out. He felt Harry shift as he dug deeper into the magic, and he pressed his face against Harry's shoulder. He reached out with his free hand between waves and buried his fist in Harry's shirt.

Harry ripped the last bit of the magic out and felt how Draco grew heavier against him. He laid the other man down in their gathered magic gently as he left magesight. He sent a message to the door and looked around. At least they hadn't done more damage to the room.

Dwayna walked in and scanned Draco. "He is a bit low, but he seems to be fine," she said. She helped stabilize him before checking him over again. "You can leave when he wakes up, but don't force it," she said.

Harry nodded. "Thank you, Dwayna," he said.

She patted him on the shoulder. "He is a powerful one. If he is right for you, you should work for it," she said.

Harry rolled his eyes as Dwayna left. His brethren were very to the point sometimes. He placed a hand on Draco's chest. This felt right to him. It was similar to how he had felt about Susan, to be honest. He guessed he hadn't felt the same way about the rest of his partners. Maybe he should have paid more attention to that.

Draco groaned as he opened his eyes. He flexed the fingers of his free hand as he turned to his left. Harry was sitting next to him, and he could feel his hand resting on his chest. That wasn't what really caught his attention, though. His inner left arm was facing him, and it was blemish free. The mark was gone. He pushed himself up and touched his arm. It was gone. The damn magic. All the discomfort. The constant strain he had to live with. It was all gone. He moved forward and kissed Harry. He rubbed his tongue over Harry's lips and felt how he moved away. He was disappointed, and he was sure it showed, because Harry was smiling apologetically at him.

"We should get home, so Neville can leave," Harry said.

Draco's eyes widened. His Scorpius. He got up and remembered himself. He grabbed Harry's hands and pulled him up. "We need to go back to the travel room, right?" he asked.

"Yes we do. It would be very rude to go from here," Harry said. "Can you reign in?" He calmed his own magic and stopped the outflow.

Draco stopped walking and followed Harry's example before turning towards him. "I can. Could we get going now?"

"Impatient," Harry said. He waved at Glint before they left. The trip back went fast. There was no question that Draco wanted to get back to his son. They reached the travel room and Harry brought them back to Blackbird. This time, Harry had no issues getting Draco past the wards, and they walked up towards the house quickly. He checked the time and stopped Draco in the hallway. "It is late. They might be asleep already," he said.

Draco drew a deep breath and nodded as Neville walked out of the living room.

"Scorpius is in Teddy's room. He didn't really want to go to bed before you got back, but Teddy managed to convince him," Neville said. He looked at Draco. "I hope you are doing better," he said. He clutched Harry's shoulder. "See you next meetup if you don't need us again before that."

"Thank you, Neville," Harry said.

Draco bowed his head. "Thank you for your aid, Lord Longbottom," he said.

"No problem. Scorpius is a delightful child," Neville said. "Good night gentlemen." He waved before he teleported out.

Draco turned to Harry and squeezed his hand. "Can I at least see Scorpius?" he asked.

Harry nodded and brought Draco with him over to Teddy's bedroom. He opened the door and let Draco inside. The boys lay side by side. Scorpius hair was messy, and he was clutching the covers.

Draco knelt next to the bed and reached out to stroke his son's hair. Scorpius relaxed slowly and sighed deeply. Draco smiled and headed back towards the door. Harry stepped back, letting him out, and he closed the door behind him.

"Would you like some tea or a glass of wine?" Harry asked.

"Trying to get me drunk, Harry?" Draco asked.

Harry laughed. "For what purpose? I would not do anything with you unless you wanted to do it sober, and I would be a bit worried if you got drunk from one glass." He walked Draco to the kitchen. "Well, tea or wine?" he asked. He held out a cup and a glass.

Draco chuckled as he reached out for the glass. He smiled as Harry brought out a bottle. Harry turned the bottle around and showed him the label.

"This is… do you have any idea how expensive this wine is?" Draco asked.

"I know," Harry said. "I have almost a hundred bottles." He opened the bottle and poured their glasses before closing the bottle again. "The wards will let me know if something is up with the boys." He led Draco outside to the garden and sat down with him. "I know we are walking in unchartered territory and things are wild right now. Most people don't try to start a relationship like this," he said.

"You mean fixing Dark Marks isn't your regular pickup line?" Draco asked. He shook his head and sighed. "I have dated once. As you might have guessed, Scorpius mother was chosen for me. I had no say in that."

"She was supposed to provide an heir and look good?" Harry said.

Draco nodded. "I never loved her. I tried to get along with her since we would have a child together, and we did have Scorpius, but we couldn't coexist. I made some decisions regarding Scorpius that really pissed her off and that had her breaking it off," he said. "Father had made sure I would keep Scorpius. I don't know if he remembers her leaving, but she said some pretty nasty things to him."

"I really don't understand that," Harry said. "None of what happened was his fault. Why attack him?" He shook his head slowly.

"The only relationship I had after that was a guy who seemed perfect in the beginning. Turned out that he was just together with me for a laugh. He had made a bet with his friends."

"But you knew you were interested in men before your wife?" Harry asked.

Draco blushed. "Well, yes," he said. "I had crushes in Hogwarts. When the others talked about girls, I was always more into the same sex. Davids was a looker." He looked at Harry. "I did wonder what you would look like without those glasses."

"Oh, my," Harry said with a smile. "I guess I have some very high expectations to live up to then." He shook his head. "I was older. My Master and I went to Tipon for an excavation. One of the Master's there was quite helpful in giving me an in-depth demonstration of just what two men can do together."

"But you go both ways," Draco said. "I've never met a woman I was even remotely interested in, no matter how hard father tried."

"But it…" Harry shook his head. Lucius was strange. Sexuality was more or less irrelevant in the magical world. You could be with whoever you wanted as long as there was agreement and no one was under the age of consent.

"I know, but father has some strange ideas sometimes," Draco said. He pushed at his wine glass. "I've been with people, but never really cared for a relationship after that. It didn't seem worth it."

"That is kind of how I felt after Lucas," Harry said.

Draco paused. "Teddy told me you hurt yourself," he said, hoping it wouldn't anger Harry that he brought it up.

Harry nodded. "I didn't hurt myself on purpose. I wasn't in a good emotional state after the loss of my hearing, and then Lucas made digs at me when he broke up with me that dug up older problems. My magic reacted badly, and I exploded a dish of lasagna while holding it. The glass imbedded in my chest. I came here rather than going to someone to get healed. I went into shock, and it took Glint, Neville and Andy to bring me back from that."

"But you aren't suicidal?" Draco said.

Harry sighed. "I have been once and that is all I can say about that," he said.

Draco closed his eyes. That mean it had happened when Harry was with the Nation. "That time, your time with the Nation. Will you ever be able to talk about it?" he asked.

"With my spouse," Harry said. "Andromeda and Teddy are allowed to know because they were marked as my family during my time there. If I marry, I'm allowed to speak to my spouse and any children who are part of that union."

At least that was better than nothing. Draco finished his wine and shook his head. "You have a beautiful home here," he said. "I… I'm still confused why you would even look my way."

"I could say the same thing, Draco," Harry said. "I've told you at least part of the reason already. You have strength of character that most people lack. Combine that with me not having to explain every little thing just to make myself understood, and you get quite far on why I would be interested. Do you know how hard it is to put into words why you like someone? So much of it is just this… feeling."

"I do know," Draco said. "But part of it for me is how you are with Scorpius and Teddy. I could never have a partner who didn't want children."

"I'd love to have more," Harry said.

"Does it matter that one of them is seven?" Draco asked.

"Not at all," Harry said. He stood up and took Draco's empty glass. "I think it's about time to head to bed. Would you like a guest room, or would you rather stay in my room? Your choice won't impact our budding relationship. It is entirely yours to make." He offered his hand to Draco and pulled him up. He pressed his lips to Draco's.

"I don't know how far I'm willing to go tonight," Draco said as he reached up and ran his fingers over Harry's shoulders slowly. "But I don't want to sleep alone."

Harry nodded. They reached the kitchen, and he rinsed their glasses out before leading Draco towards the bedroom. He pointed out the bathroom and unbuttoned his shirt as he walked up to the door. He disappeared in there for a moment before walking back out in nothing but boxers.

Draco drank in the look of him. The broad shoulders and tones muscles. He reached out and placed his hand over the dark scar on Harry's chest. "What is this?" he asked.

"The second time, Riddle hit me with the Killing Curse," Harry said as he placed his hand over Draco's making it rather clear that he didn't really want to talk about that. At least not right now. "The green toothbrush in there is brand new. Do you need anything else?" He pulled Draco closer and trailed kisses down his neck before letting him go again. He smiled at the somewhat dazed look on his face. "You can ask for anything."

"A nightshirt," Draco said, and he could feel himself blush because he felt kind of silly asking for that when Harry was just in his underwear. Harry pressed a chaste kiss on his lips before walking over to a set of drawers and bringing a soft blue shirt out for him. Draco took it and disappeared into the bathroom. He put his clothes in the hamper, realizing as he did so that he never did go back home to get them clothes. He sighed. They could figure something out.

Draco looked himself in the mirror. The shirt was too big on him and he kind of liked it. "What in Merlin's name are you doing?" he asked himself. Harry bloody Potter, who wasn't even that any more, he was Lord Hydrus Black, was in the bedroom waiting for him, and he felt jittery and nervous. "Get a freakin hold of yourself. Are you Draco Malfoy or not?" he muttered. He turned the lights off and walked back into the bedroom.

Harry was sitting on the bed. He was looking out the window as Draco walked up to him. He turned his head as fingers brushed against his knee. "Hey, gorgeous," he said as he reached out to place his hand on Draco's waist. He didn't mention the clear nerves or how long it had taken Draco to get ready, and Draco was grateful for that. He grabbed the headboard and settled on Harry's lap. He leaned down to kiss Harry and felt his arms wrap around him to pull him closer. A soft growl escaped him as Harry nipped his bottom lip, but he opened his mouth and let Harry's roaming tongue in to explore. He took control of the kiss and buried his hands in Harry's soft black locks. He had assumed Harry used some kind of product to keep his hair the way it looked, but it didn't feel that way when he touched it.

Harry ground against Draco and swallowed his groan. He pulled away from his lips and kissed his way down his jawline before continuing down his neck as he ran his hands in under the nightshirt he had given him. Then he pushed Draco back against the cool sheets. His fingers roamed under the shirt, but he didn't raise it. Draco had asked for that shirt for a reason, and he would respect that. He could feel the scars he had once inflicted on his pale chest. He wasn't sure apologising was the way to go, though. "Gorgeous," he said softly before kissing Draco again, feeling him tug at his hair. He rubbed their restrained cocks together a swallowed Draco's growl. He would be satisfied with this if that was all Draco was up for.

Draco dropped his hands from Harry's hair down his back slowly. "Having fun?" he asked, breathing heavily, kind of glad Harry couldn't hear the way he sounded.

"Oh, I'm having heaps of fun," Harry purred. He kissed his way down Draco's jaw and neck, again, sampling every bit of skin he could reach. He felt how Draco's arms flexed around him before they rolled over.

Draco felt Harry's legs tighten around him as his black hair sprayed out around his head like a halo of darkness. Draco's mouth watered as his eyes roamed the expanse of Harry's chest. Fingers traced down his back and kneaded into him, drawing sounds he didn't even know he could make. He pressed Harry down against the sheets forcefully and grinned as he saw the smile play over Harry's lips. "You like that, don't you," he said before biting and nibbling his way down Harry's chest slowly.

"Ahhh." Harry arched his back and grabbed at Draco's arms. "Fuck Dra-co. Feels good," he moaned. He pulled Draco down and hummed against his lips before opening his mouth. He played with Draco's roaming tongue, lazily, as he wrapped his arms around his waist and rubbed their cocks together.

Draco pulled back slowly. He was breathing heavily. He wanted more, and the damn shirt he had asked for was getting in his way. He pulled it off and threw it aside. He made sure Harry was looking at him. "I want you," he said, and his heart soared at the brilliant smile Harry offered him.

"Top or bottom?" Harry asked.

Draco froze. He hadn't thought that far. He grabbed at Harry's boxers and felt his muscles move as he helped out to get them off. His fingers twitched as he palmed Harry's cock. He hadn't bottomed much. He liked it well enough, but it wasn't his preference. Would that be an issue? So far, Harry had catered to him.

"Draco, I'm prepped already if you would prefer that," Harry said gently, effectively calming any worries Draco had. He moved his legs to give Draco better access. A moan left his lips as long fingers pressed into, him. Draco grabbed his chin and held him in place. "Don't hide from me," he said. He moved his fingers and marvelled at how slick Harry was. What the hell had he done?

"You don't need to do that. If you want to fuck me, just fuck me," Harry said invitingly. He smiled as Draco moved over him and arched his back as their bodies joined. "Feels so good," he moaned.

Draco couldn't think. How did Harry even feel this good? He leaned down and pressed their lips together as he started moving slowly. Harry's magic was dancing around them, and Draco released with him, causing Harry to whimper at the new sensation of the magic not only flowing around him but inside him. He looked at Draco pleadingly. "Please give me more," he whimpered. He pushed back against Draco, joining his rhythm.

Draco shifted so he could stroke Harry in time with his trusts until Harry cried out and tightened around him, bringing him over the edge. He felt Harry's legs tightening around him as he leaned his forehead against Harry's shoulder to steady his breathing.

Draco flexed and rolled them over on their sides. He tapped Harry's shoulder. He wanted to talk to him. Green eyes looked up at him dazed, like Harry's brain had turned to mush. "Can you understand me?" Draco asked, somewhat amused. The look in Harry's eyes was a pretty big boost to his confidence. He reached out and moved sweaty black locks from Harry's face gently as he waited for Harry to regain awareness. He asked again once Harry had pulled himself together.

It still took a bit for Harry to answer, "Yes, yes I can." His voice was tired, but he seemed determined to stay awake. He let go of Draco slowly and relaxed his leg's tight hold around Draco's waist. "Stay," he mumbled as Draco tried to pull out.

Draco stopped moving. "If that is what you want," he said. He didn't mind. "How are you feeling?" he asked.

"Like I understand my previous partners better," Harry said. "If my magic felt like this to them, I can understand people leaving."

Draco watched Harry. He had never been with a mage before either and Harry's magic was still clinging to him, but he guessed it wasn't the same as what his magic had done to Harry. "You dislike it?" he asked.

Laughter spread from Harry as he slowly let go of Draco, and moved so he was straddling him. His magic moved over them to clean them and freshen up the bed for them. "Oh, no, love this," he said. "I feel like I belong, and it's the best feeling in the world."

Draco couldn't stop the smile from spreading over his lips. "You are impossible," he said.

"Impossible and infused with your magic, I don't quite know where one begins and the other ends," Harry said. He lay down next to Draco and took his hand. "Can you tell?" he asked.

Draco turned over so they were facing again. "That you carry my magic in you?" he asked, and Harry nodded. He reached out slowly and ran his fingers down Harry's chest slowly while not breaking eye contact with him. It was interesting to see Harry's reaction. "I can feel it," he said.

"Smug bastard," Harry said as he moved closer to Draco. "Don't tell me Malfoys don't cuddle." He murmured as he pressed against Draco.

"How would I know," Draco said softly as he laid down against Harry and ran his fingers over his chest slowly. How had going to the park with his son turned into this? He wasn't even sure what this was. He definitely didn't want it to be a one-night stand. Not with Harry. Not if he had the chance at something more. Why shouldn't he take that opportunity? Harry was powerful and good-looking. He was kind and protective and caring. He was great with Scorpius. There really was no downside as far as he could see. At least not between the two of them.

The sun shone in thorough the window in a soft golden band. Draco woke up slowly and moved against the weight settled over his abdomen. His eyes opened, and he reached out to touch the tan arm laying against his body. His fingers ran up Harry's arm, causing a shudder to go through him. He could still feel the remnants of his own magic in Harry, and he was wondering what that entailed. How would that affect Harry? A muffled moan reached his ears, and he smiled as Harry turned towards him. "So, what do you think?" he asked. "Do Malfoys cuddle?"

Harry chuckled. "Satisfied sleep muddled brain isn't the most intelligent," he said. "You are very cosy. I'd love to just stay here with you, but… I can tell that our sons are up, and we should join them."

Draco rolled his eyes as Harry got up. He stumbled, and Draco was off the bed and walking up to him in seconds. "I'm okay," Harry said. Not that he minded the attention. He looked up so he would be able to see if Draco wanted anything. "I'm not in pain. I promise," he said.

"As long as you are sure," Draco said as he pulled him closer.

"I'm off balance. Your magic puts everything slightly off kilter for me," Harry said. "I'll get used to it."

Draco leaned down and kissed him. "As long as you are happy," he said. He steadied Harry as they headed to the bathroom and stepped into the shower together. One of the good things about Blackbird was that it adapted. The shower was easily big enough for the two of them, and there was no need for them to stand on top of each other to get rinsed off, either. They didn't speak, mostly because Harry wasn't looking at Draco. He left as soon as he was clean and dried himself as he went to pick clothes.

Teddy smiled as Harry walked into the living room. "Scor needs clothes," he said.

"Good point," Harry said. "I think I still have some things you have outgrown. Then we are making breakfast."

Teddy rolled his eyes. He looked at Scorpius. "Don't worry, dad will find you some clothes," he said. "I'm sure your father is here."

Scorpius nodded slowly. "Yeah, you think so?" he asked. He got up and went to find Harry. Teddy had explained that Harry couldn't hear, so he reached out to tug at his shirt.

"What's the matter, Scorpius?" Harry asked.

"Where is dad?" Scorpius asked.

Harry smiled. "He is here somewhere. I bet if you get changed, and we go find some breakfast, he will turn up," he said as he brought a box down from a shelf. They brought it into Teddy's room and Harry found some clothes for Scorpius. They were still a bit big, but he didn't mind fixing that for Scorpius. "There we go, let's go see what we can make for breakfast," he said.

Scorpius walked with Harry while looking around. He felt better now that he had seen Harry, even if he hadn't seen his father yet.

"Would you like pancakes?" Harry asked.

Scorpius eyes widened. "Yeah," he said.

"Fluffy or thin?" Harry asked.

"Thin," Scorpius said as he walked up next to Harry and clung to him. Harry chuckled and picked Scorpius up before placing him on the counter next to him as he worked to make the batter. He placed pans on the stove. "So for pancakes you need eggs and flour. Then there is milk and salt. You can add some vanilla if you are feeling cheeky."

Scorpius giggled as Harry tapped him on the nose. "Okay," he said.

Draco walked into the hallway. He had gone home to pick up some clothes, but he hadn't known if he and Scorpius would be asked to leave or not. Going back to the flat had felt like purgatory. He had hated it, and he knew Scorpius would feel much the same. He really did wonder if Teddy would be okay with them moving in right away, as crazy as that sounded. It was what he wanted, though. He didn't want to leave, and maybe that was insane. Either way, he kind of needed to know how Teddy felt about it before asking Harry. He found Teddy in the living room sitting with a puzzle.

"Hi Mr Draco. Scorpius is asking about you. Dad found him some of my old clothes, and they are in the kitchen making pancakes," Teddy said.

"I was looking for you," Draco said as he sat down next to Teddy. He moved some puzzle pieces together that looked like they would fit. "Would you be okay with Scorpius and me moving in here?" he asked.

"Have you asked dad?" Teddy asked.

Draco shook his head. "No, I wanted to know that you are okay with it first," he said.

Teddy sighed. "I don't think I have seen dad this happy since he was together with Susan," he said. "I'm not selfish enough to tell you to leave him, even though you just met. I know I'm going to Hogwarts in two years, and then what. Is he supposed to just work all the time when I'm not home? I'd rather he had someone. If you will stay with him, then why wait. If you want to be here and dad wants you here, then I don't mind. If I think it is too much, I can always go to grandma's for a bit."

"You are a very intelligent and very considerate young man," Draco said. He stopped moving puzzle pieces. "I can continue helping you after breakfast, maybe. If you would like?"

Teddy smiled. "Okay," he said. "We should go in there."

Draco followed Teddy into the kitchen and smiled as he saw Harry and Scorpius. His son noticed him and jumped off the counter before running across the room and throwing himself at him. "Hey, little star," Draco said as he picked him up and hugged him.

"Is daddy all better now?" Scorpius asked.

Draco smiled at him as he sat him down in a chair. Then he puled his sleeves up to show his arms. "See, all the bad magic is gone," he said. "Harry took it away."

"Is that why he feels like you?" Scorpius asked as he hugged his father. He couldn't remember his dad ever feeling this safe before. It was very similar to Harry.

"What do you mean, Scorpius?" Draco asked.

"Mr Harry's magic and yours kind of feels the same," Scorpius said.

Draco did his best not to react. "I see," he said. "Sometimes when two mages do things together, their magic leaves traces."

Scorpius nodded. "Okay," he said. "Harry is making pancakes."

"So I heard," Draco said. He walked up to Harry and placed a hand against his waist. Letters gleamed into existence across the back of Harry's shirt and Draco moved, so Harry could look at him. 'I hope the boys can't see the back of your shirt,' he mouthed.

Harry shook his head. Then he reached out and poked Draco.

'Oh, I'll happily make you roar,' Draco mouthed, smiling at the blush rising up Harry's cheeks. He guessed that was the benefit of Harry being able to read lips.

"Fiend," Harry muttered as he turned around and placed the pancakes on the table. He brought out jam and some fresh berries for them to have with the pancakes. He smiled as he sat down by the table. He was just glad to see the happy faces. Draco pressed a leg against his, and rubbed against him slowly. Every touch from Draco was like a pleasant current going through him.

"So, is there anything specific anyone wants to do today?" Harry asked. "Or would you just like to stay home."

Scorpius tilted his head to the side. "Dad and I can stay here?" he asked.

"Of course," Harry said. "You can stay for as long as you'd like."

"Forever?" Scorpius asked hopefully.

"That is something your father and I will have to discuss," Harry said. He looked at Draco, who nodded in agreement.

They cleaned up after breakfast. Teddy went back to his puzzle and Draco did as he had promised and helped him sort the pieces. Harry sat down with string to make bracelets for Draco and Scorpius. "Should l make new ones for everyone, Teddy?" he asked.

"Sure," Teddy said.

"Okay, there is one we'll all wear. What colours do you want? Pick one each, Teddy. Scorpius," Harry said.

"You got like a dark bluish green?" Teddy asked.

Harry pulled out a roll as he looked over at Scorpius. "You can pick any colour you want," he said.

"Can I have orange?" Scorpius said.

A soft hum travelled through the living room as Harry made the bracelet for Scorpius. He fastened it around Scorpius' wrist. "You will be able to call my attention with this. It also works as a way for Draco and me to find you if something were to happen. Please don't take it off."

Scorpius stared at the bracelet as Harry started on the next one. He moved closer to the puzzle. "Can I help?" he asked.

"Of course," Teddy said. "Do you want to build the edges?" He moved closer to Scorpius and helped him get started.

Draco took Harry's hand after he had put his bracelet on and motioned for him to come along. They reached the kitchen, where he pressed Harry up against the wall as he kissed him. He chuckled as Harry whimpered. He moved away and stroked Harry's cheek as the shorter man looked up at him. "You are so vocal," he said.

"Kahmu liked it. I never cared to be more restrained," Harry said softly as he lowered his gaze again. "I could probably do it, and I don't make noise the same way when I top."

Draco pulled his chin up. "Hey, I enjoy it. It lets me know you are enjoying yourself. Don't hide that from me. If I wanted you to be quiet, I could always gag you." He grinned as Harry huffed. He could see the blush and feel Harry's eagerness against his leg, though. "Are we moving too fast?" he asked.

Harry sighed softly as he smiled at Draco. "Are you concerned about what other people might think, or are you worried this isn't what you want?" he asked.

Draco was taken aback by the question. He wanted Harry. That wasn't in question, so why was he worried about this? Maybe his concern was just what other people might think.

"If you want to go slower, we can," Harry said. "I'm not forcing you to stay here. If you want to go home, you can do that. I would prefer that you stay, if that wasn't obvious already. I think that the idea of moving too fast is rooted in not knowing enough about each other. We are working from an angle where we know a fair amount already."

"Which is why you say I can just ask questions if I want the answers," Draco said. "Shouldn't that go both ways?" It didn't feel fair that he could ask anything, yet Harry wouldn't do the same.

"You haven't given me the same offer," Harry said. "I will still ask questions, Draco, but whereas you can expect and answer. I will not push it. If you want to share with me, that is great, but I don't demand it of you."

With that, any worries Draco had about this going too fast were gone. What Harry was offering him was the safety to be himself and know that he didn't have to hide, but Harry wasn't insecure; he wasn't worried about what might happen. "I want to fuck you so badly right now," he said.

Harry snorted. "Yeah, that isn't happening, we have children," he said. "We should make lunch for them."

Draco went with him as Harry picked things out for a pasta salad. He watched Harry work for a bit, releasing one of the issues of Harry not being able to hear him. They couldn't hold a conversation while Harry was occupied with something else.

Harry looked up at Draco. "You look like you want to ask something," he said.

"Kahmu was that the name of the Master?" Draco asked.

Harry smiled. "Yes," he said. "Don't worry about it, Draco. People may say that you won't go back once you go black, but trust me, mage outshines that no problem."

"You are so lewd," Draco said. He was laughing, though. He thought it might bother him. He definitely hadn't wanted to talk about ex-partners with anyone before this. That could just be because he hadn't really wanted to talk to any of them.

Harry chuckled and bumped against him. "You like it," he said.

"I would prefer it if I could act on it," Draco said.

Harry shook his head. "We'll get Scorpius introduced to Andy and in time we can have child free evenings and days," he said.

"Assuming aunt Andromeda doesn't hate me," Draco said.

"Andy is not that quick to judge," Harry said. "Please don't worry about her." He put his knife down and hugged Draco. "I want this," he mumbled against Draco's shoulder. "Are we moving fast. Yes we are. As long as we keep communicating, that shouldn't be a problem. I want you here."

Draco nodded slowly, feeling Harry's hair brush against his chin. He waited until Harry was looking at him. "I went home to get some clothes for Scorpius and I…" He shuddered. "It feels empty over there. I hated it," he said. I hated leaving your magic behind, I hated how lifeless the flat feels."

"We need to be able to be apart, or we will get on each other's nerves," Harry said.

"I know," Draco said. "I don't think I mean it quite so desperately, either. As my magic settles and I regain control. I doubt it will be as much of an issue."

"Some would say that you might grow dependent on me," Harry said.

"Says the guy who enjoys being infused with my magic. I think you are the one more likely to grow addicted now, aren't you?" Draco said. He sighed. "Joke aside, though, matching mages are rare enough. That you have matched with two is quite amazing. That we both match and are attracted to each other will worry people."

"Who else would really be able to understand?" Harry asked.

"Especially with our backgrounds," Draco said. He knew they needed to talk. A lot because there was a lot they needed to catch up on. "We should finish this, though. He motioned to the half finished salad, and Harry smiled at him before getting back to work as he set the table.

They called their sons in and ate before heading outside. "So, what is growing up in Malfoy Manor like?" Harry asked.

"Want to give it a guess?" Draco asked.

Harry laughed. "Sure. I could say luxurious and wonderful, and that would probably be the child answer. However, I'm no child and I have warded a few homes like that. Lonely. There are so many rooms that are just never used by anyone. You can only have appropriate friends, so the play dates are strict and planed. You have loads of stuff, but no one to play with." He looked up at Draco.

"Your parents are away a lot even if they care about you, they aren't there, much," Draco said. "I don't know if it was the expectation that I treat Scorpius that way or the very magic of the wards themselves that drove me away from there."

Harry took his hand and squeezed it. "Want to try for me. I grew up with my mother's sister and her husband as well as my cousin Dudley who is the same age we are," he said.

"Well, listening to Severus would lead me to think you were treated like a prince," Draco said. "From what you said about your cousin yesterday, though, I'd assume things weren't great. They didn't like you much, and they didn't care what their son did?" he really didn't know enough to say more than that.

"My bedroom was the cupboard under the stairs until my Hogwarts letter came. For ten years I was less important than a room filled with broken toys, and they only moved me because they were scared people were watching," Harry said.

Draco watched as Harry closed off. This was something he didn't like talking about, that was obvious. He reached out and rubbed Harry's cheek slowly before looking around for their sons. He smiled as he saw Teddy and Scorpius engaged in some kind of make believe play. He looked back at Harry, who had turned away from him to watch their sons. He let it happen. He wasn't going to push for this conversation right now.

"We will need a room for Scorpius," Harry said. "What colours does he like?" he turned to look at Draco.

"Blues and greens," Draco said.

Harry nodded. "Good. Will you keep an eye on them while I go fix a room for him?" he said before moving away from Draco.

Draco shook his head. It kind of felt good to know that Harry had things he didn't really want to talk about, too. Even with his earlier statement.

Scorpius walked into the room Harry had spent the afternoon putting together. "It is for me?" he asked, and Teddy signed for Harry.

"Of course, Scorpius," Harry said. "If you are staying here, you need your own room."

Scorpius smiled brightly. "Thank you, Harry," he said. He looked at his father. "Does Dad get a room too?" he asked.

Harry smiled at him. "Not quite," he said. "Draco will be staying in my room."

"Like a sleep-over?" Scorpius asked.

Harry chuckled softly. "Not quite," he said. "It's close enough, though."

Teddy rolled his eyes and shook his head as Draco and Harry headed to the kitchen to get dinner ready.

Once they had put the boys to bed and they themselves had brushed their teeth, Draco pulled Harry with him into bed. He could see the confusion in his green eyes. "I want to know more," he said softly. "The things you told me earlier bothers me. Will you answer my questions?"

Harry sighed. He wasn't sure he wanted to talk about his time with the Dursleys. Then again, he was the one foolish enough to ask about Draco's childhood. He shouldn't have done that if he wasn't willing to talk about this. "Ask your questions. This isn't a subject I enjoy delving into, but I will anyway."

Draco nodded slowly. He would have backed off if Harry wanted him to, but he wasn't going to question the determination in his eyes. He grabbed Harry's hands and squeezed them gently. "Did they starve you?" he asked.

Harry closed his eyes. He pulled at his hands weakly, but he didn't really try to get away. His actions were telling enough, but he knew he should answer. "They denied me food," he said finally. "If I didn't do as I was told, if I asked questions or if I was in the wrong place at the wrong time," he said, his voice dead. "If I did anything that might be thought of as magic, it could lead to weeks of being locked up. If I was lucky, I had a working light bulb and Aunt Petunia gave me scraps." He felt warmth envelope as Draco pulled him into a hug. He hadn't told a whole lot of people this. Andromeda knew of course, but apart from her, he hadn't really told anyone just how bad it had been. His breath rattled, and he was so glad to be surrounded by their shared magic. He felt safe. Wanted. He could tell by Draco's magic that he was angry, and that anger turned to possessiveness of him.

Draco closed his eyes. Thinking back, he could see it. His first memory of Harry was of a boy that was small and lost, wearing clothes far too big for him. He had assumed he was a muggleborn which was kind of correct in a way. He waited until Harry moved back again. "Did they beat you?" he asked. He needed to know how deep the abuse went, because there were certain things he might want to do with a partner that he would be very careful with if Harry had been beaten or even worse…

"Not in the way you mean. Did I get backhanded one or twice? Yes. My cousin did beat me up, but his parents didn't hit me, not in a way that would…"

"Don't make excuses for them," Draco said, and his magic flared. He might have feared Harry's reaction to that if Harry hadn't pressed their lips together the moment it happened. He wrapped his arms tightly around Harry and deepened the kiss.

Harry moved back again, breathing heavily. He knew they weren't done. "It is interesting to feel your magic move from protective to possessive to domineering and back again," he said softly.

"I'm not necessarily a nice person," Draco said. "People like these muggles make me want to do something about it." He grabbed Harry and pushed him back until he was laying sprawled out on the bed. "I don't want you making excuses for these people, but I understand what you mean. I would also assume that rules out sexual abuse."

"Yes," Harry said, he reached up and spread his hands against Draco's chest. "As long as you realise I'm my own person, I don't mind you being a bit possessive."

"We'll figure it out," Draco said. "I don't want you to be uncomfortable, so hopefully we'll just sync up with time."

"Or we'll talk about it," Harry said.

"When they moved you from the cupboard." He had a hard time believing he was even saying that. "And placed you in a bedroom. Did they treat you better?" Draco asked.

"The bars on the window. The cat flap in the door and the handful of locks on said door would say differently," Harry said almost too casually. Draco could feel the quiver in his magic, though. The need for someone else, anyone else, to keep him safe.

"So they locked you into a tight, dark space and didn't feed you properly?" Draco said. "Did they do anything else?" Not that it wasn't bad enough already.

"They told me I was worthless. A burden. They wished I had died with my parents in the car crash, they convinced me was the cause of their death. They called me freak or boy more often than my name. Do I need to continue?" Harry gave Draco a pained look.

"Verbal abuse. Why weren't you moved away from those people?" Draco asked.

"Because I was safe from Riddle and his munchers while I was there," Harry said dejectedly, showing that he wasn't happy with that explanation either. "Dumbledore placed me there, and he kept me there. Sometimes I wonder if he did it as a sick experiment to see if I would turn out the same as Riddle. We were both misunderstood and at the very least verbally abused. We were both sent back to those abusive environments by Dumbledore."

"You think he did it to you just to clear his own conscience about the way Riddle turned out?" Draco asked.

"I don't know," Harry said. "I feel like there could have been better ways of taking care of me than the one they used." He rubbed Draco's arms slowly. "These memories are exhausting," he said softly. "Promise me you won't leave. I need you here." He was showing vulnerability, and he prayed that wouldn't come back to hurt him. It was so early on, and sharing these kinds of things could either fuck everything up or bring them closer together.

Draco moved off Harry and laid down next to him. He tugged at Harry's arm to get him to lay down on top of him instead. Harry looked at him and his smiled as he pulled his magic tighter around them. "I am surprised but pleased that I can help," he said.

Harry lay his head down over Draco's heart. "Thank you for being here. Thank you for being angry on my behalf. So many only care what I can do for them. They never expect to give anything in return," he said.

"I would never leave you to fight alone," Draco said. He smiled gently. "I have fantasised about being the one standing beside you as you do something stupidly heroic enough times, that now when I have the chance to be by your side I'm not leaving no matter what."

Harry laughed. "As long as it isn't hurting you or Scorpius," he said.

Draco smiled at him. "I do have integrity and old fantasies aside, I want to be with you," he said. He ran his finger's through Harry's hair slowly. He still felt like he was dreaming, and he was going to wake up any second. He really hoped that wouldn't happen, though. Harry drifted off slowly, and Draco followed not long after, lulled to sleep by their magic.

Maybe it was normal for mages to fall this fast.
