"Good you two are in here.", Lexa said as she entered the throne room to see Indra and Titus waiting for her.
"What is this about, Heda?", Titus asked Lexa, concerned for her safety.
"We have some things to talk about. But first I want to start by saying we're survivors.", Lexa said as Indra and Titus blinked their eyes after she said those words to get their memories back.
"Heda.", Indra said as she got closer to Lexa.
"It's good to have you back, General.", Lexa said with a fond smile on her face.
"What's going on? How do we remember everything?", Titus asked Lexa.
"It's a lot to understand and explain. But just know Clarke came back in time to help. We're apparently supposed to change events for the better.", Lexa said to them.
"The last war. For all mankind.", Indra said out loud.
"Something I'm assuming happened long after I passed?", Lexa asked Indra.
"Yes, longer than you might think.", Indra said to Lexa.
"We'll have to talk at length about that at another time. We have to gather the ambassadors for a meeting. We have to get their memories back. There's some things we need to discuss going forward.", Lexa said to Indra.
"Heda, I apologize for being the cause of your death. But adding SkaiKru into the Coalition isn't the only fix.", Titus said to Lexa.
"Yes, I know you disapprove but this is the only way. We need to do things differently this time around.", Lexa said to Titus.
"I only disapproved because I didn't know what was best for you. The knowledge that I have now, I can see that I was wrong in regards to Clarke making you weak. I think maybe uniting your clans will help as well.", Titus said to Lexa finally understanding that Clarke makes Lexa stronger. That they make each other stronger.
"That is something that has crossed my mind. But I have to talk to Clarke about it. Her culture might have different ways about a union then we do. But I do agree that uniting our clans will help.", Lexa said to Titus.
"You know the last Commander that had a family of their own was right after the first war.", Indra said to Lexa.
"I know the stories well. As legend says it was Heda Khan that had a family of his own. I did pay attention in your classes, Titus. Don't look so surprised.", Lexa said when she noticed that Titus was looking at her with a surprised expression on his face.
"Right, sorry Lexa. I'm not used to you referring to my teachings.", Titus said which got Lexa to chuckle.
"Another thing that must change, I suppose. Before we have the meeting could you bring Roan up here? I think I should get his memories back before the ambassadors get theirs.", Lexa said to Indra.
"Sha. I'll go get him now.", Indra said as she left the throne room.
"Where is Clarke? Shouldn't she be here for the meeting?", Titus asked Lexa.
"She's helping her mother for the time being. She'll be here for the meeting. I wouldn't start without her.", Lexa said to Titus.
"Should the Nightbloods get their memories back?", Titus asked Lexa.
"In due time. We all should have our memories back at some point. Just the important ones for now though. We don't want chaos to ensue.", Lexa said to Titus.
"A lot happened after our deaths I suppose.", Titus said to Lexa.
"Yes, Clarke said the world ended multiple times. Hopefully we can stop them or at least just one.", Lexa said to Titus.
"This is going to give me a headache isn't it?", Titus asked Lexa as he closed his eyes.
"Trust me it'll go away.", Lexa said with a laugh. "You do know I would like to change how our next Commander comes to power. The ones after me as well, there's a few things I would like to change about our culture, that I was maybe too afraid to do last time. But I think it'll be changes that we all need.", Lexa said to Titus.
"I figured you would want to change quite a few things. I will try my best to support you. It might be difficult at times. Our ways have been done the way they are for centuries. It's going to be hard to change that.", Titus said to Lexa.
"I know it will be hard for everyone to change our ways. But I think in order to have the peace I was craving last time we need to change things. I want my legacy to be peace not war. I know we will need to have war with somethings, that's inevitable but if we can change the little things, it'll change in the long run.", Lexa said to Titus.
"You want a family with Clarke don't you?", Titus asked Lexa.
"Some day, yes, we have a lot to deal with before that. But yes I would like to have children of my own one day. We need peace for that to happen.", Lexa said to Titus.
"I am sure you and Clarke can make that happen.", Titus said to Lexa as Indra came back into the throne room with Roan.
"He didn't come willingly.", Indra said to Lexa with an angry expression on her face.
"I didn't think he would.", Lexa said with a smirk on her face knowing that Roan would be a handful.
"Like mother like son.", Titus said which got Lexa to smirk.
"He's a lot tamer than his mother.", Lexa said to Titus before she got closer to Roan.
"What do you need me for this time, Commander?", Roan asked Lexa with an eye roll; tired of doing the Commander's bidding.
"To make you king. Which means your mother has to die.", Lexa said to Roan.
"And what makes you think I'll help you?", Roan asked Lexa.
"Because we are survivors.", Lexa said to Roan.
"I've seen things that I don't understand. This is one of those times isn't it?", Roan asked Lexa once he got his memories back.
"Correct. Just know we're meant to change things for the better.", Lexa said to Roan.
"My mother's going to be a problem. You know I can't kill her myself. My people will never follow me; which means they'll never follow you.", Roan said to Lexa.
"I know, I have a plan for her. Though it might be a while before I execute that plan. We have more pressing issues at the moment.", Lexa said to Roan.
"How can I help?", Roan asked Lexa.
"We have to call a meeting with the ambassadors. Having you here might help with the Ice Nation's ambassador. To keep him in line. I had to kill him last time. I'm hoping to avoid that, but if that's not possible I need you to step in as ambassador for your people.", Lexa said to Roan.
"I can do that, should we also include Luna in this meeting?", Roan said then asked Lexa.
"I don't think we have time to convince her to let me see her. We would need to get her memories back.", Lexa said to Roan.
"Wait until tomorrow for the meeting. I'll go with Lincoln to get Luna. We can get her memories back.", Indra said to Lexa.
"That might work, he's helping Abby with Raven.", Lexa said to Indra.
"Jackson just came with Anya. He's helping my mom.", Clarke said as she entered the throne room.
"Good to see you again old friend.", Indra said as she hugged Clarke.
"It's good to see you again as well.", Clarke said, returning the hug.
"The great Wanheda. Of course it would be you to change everything.", Roan said with a smirk on his face as he hugged Clarke after she stopped hugging Indra.
"It's good to see you too, Roan.", Clarke said with a smile on her face. "So what's this I hear we're going to Luna?", Clarke said to Lexa.
"It was my idea. I think she would be of help.", Roan said to Clarke.
"Hmm how is that going to work?", Clarke asked.
"I know she was a pain in the ass last time. But I think getting her memories back she'll be different.", Roan said to Clarke,
"You sure about that? She wanted everyone to die at one point.", Clarke said to Roan.
"Yeah because we were going to die anyway. Plus we weren't exactly welcoming to her.", Roan said to Clarke.
"Is this where we know nothing of what happened?", Titus asked Lexa.
"I believe so. How's the headache?", Lexa said then asked cheekily to Titus.
"Yeah, you're going to have a lot of those.", Clarke said to Titus with a sympathetic look on her face.
"Great.", Titus said as he rubbed his temples.
"Was she really a problem?", Lexa asked Clarke, Roan, and Indra.
"Yes, but not at first. So Roan might be right, if we get her memories back. She might be willing to change what happened.", Clarke said to Lexa.
"And if she doesn't want to change what happened?", Titus asked Clarke.
"It's a risk we have to be willing to take. We can figure it out if that happens.", Clarke said to Titus. "Look I wasn't given a hand book on how this is going to play out. I just know we're allowed to change things. Maybe in the future she'll be a problem like she was in the past. Or maybe this will change her. I can't promise anything.", Clarke said to them.
"She's not a big threat is she?", Lexa asked Clarke.
"No at this moment in time no. Again in the future I have no idea.", Clarke said to Lexa. "I think we have to try.", Clarke said to Lexa with love in her eyes.
"I agree, Indra take Miller and Lincoln with you. Go to Luna, you know the phrase to use to get her memories back. Use it, and get her back here so we can have the meeting.", Lexa said to Indra.
"Right away Heda.", Indra said to Lexa as she left the room.
"Are you alright?", Lexa asked Clarke when she noticed that Clarke seemed a little off.
"Just really tired. Haven't slept much since I came back.", Clarke said to Lexa with a small tired smile.
"You should rest before the hunters come back with food.", Titus said to Clarke and Lexa, knowing Lexa would want to be with Clarke to make sure she actually rested.
"You can't leave. I know where my old bedroom is.", Clarke said to Lexa as Lexa looked at her ready to leave with her.
"I can leave, we're not doing anything until tomorrow. We can rest until then. Roan, you need to stay hidden for the time being.", Lexa said to Clarke then to Roan.
"I know, I'll be in my cell. It's actually more comfortable then you would think.", Roan said when he noticed that Clarke and Lexa gave him a look.
"Whatever you say, King.", Clarke said with a smirk on her face.
"We have to watch out for that one.", Roan said with a smirk on his face before he headed to his jail cell.
"Titus, when Indra arrives with Luna, send Luna to my room please. I have to talk to her.", Lexa said to Titus.
"Of course. I'll make sure no one disturbs you two until the food is prepared.", Titus said with a nod of his head.
"Thank you. Come on, let's relax in my room.", Lexa said to Clarke.
"Good because you died in mine, and I really don't want to relive that more than I already do.", Clarke said to Lexa as she followed her to Lexa's bedroom.
"I'm sorry you had to go through that.", Lexa said as they walked into her room.
"It was just as bad as watching Madi die. I don't want to relive either of those moments.", Clarke said to Lexa with tears in her eyes.
"Come here. I can't promise that I'm not going to die, because well everyone does. But I can promise that I will try my hardest to die only when we're old and grey and have lived a fulfilled life together.", Lexa said as she took Clarke into her arms and held her.
"I would like that. I promise that too.", Clarke said to Lexa as she hugged her a little tighter and breathed in Lexa's smell of the woods. It was a calming smell for Clarke, you could say it grounded her.
"Let's lay down. If you fall asleep I'll wake you when the food arrives or when Luna arrives. Whichever comes first.", Lexa said to Clarke as they cuddled into each other's arms on Lexa's bed.
"I'm really glad to be back here again.", Clarke said to Lexa in a sleepy voice.
"I am really glad about that as well.", Lexa said to Clarke as she kissed Clarke's forehead.
"I love you.", Clarke said to Lexa as she looked up at her.
"I love you.", Lexa said as she gently kissed Clarke on the lips. "Now rest.", Lexa said once the kiss broke. "Come in.", Lexa said quietly as someone knocked on the door.
"Sorry to bother you both. Titus said I could find you here. I just came to check on my daughter. Looks like she's in good hands. She seemed a little exhausted before.", Abby said as she entered Lexa's room.
"I made her relax. I think everything is catching up to her.", Lexa said as she looked down at a peaceful resting Clarke.
"Good I'm glad she has you. You need rest too, Lexa.", Abby said to Lexa.
"I will tonight. Your daughter will make sure of that.", Lexa said with a small smile on her face.
"I was wondering, could I have a small party to follow me to the camp we're staying at?", Abby asked Lexa.
"Of course. Just ask Titus, maybe even Roan will help. You will be coming back with you?", Lexa asked Abby.
"Jake, Clarke's father, and Bellamy.", Abby said to her.
"They'll be helpful. They should be here. Talk to Titus. How's Raven?", Lexa said to Abby.
"Thank you. She's doing well, Jackson is going to watch over her. She has a long road ahead with recovery. But I think she'll be just fine. She's a tough kid. You all are.", Abby said to Lexa with a small smile on her face.
"Unfortunately we haven't been kids for quite some years.", Clarke said as she woke up.
"That is very true. Sorry for waking you up.", Abby said to Clarke.
"All good. I got some rest.", Clarke said with a smile on her face.
"Good. Everyone is with Raven, taking turns watching over her. I'm going to go get your father and Bellamy.", Abby said to Clarke.
"Be careful, I'll go show everyone their rooms. Come get me when Luna arrives.", Lexa said as she lightly kissed Clarke on the lips and then headed out the door.
"Luna's coming?", Abby asked her daughter.
"Yes, for the ambassador meeting tomorrow. It might be a bad idea or a good one. Haven't figured that out yet. I'm hoping it'll be a good idea.", Clarke said to her mother.
"I think it'll be a good idea. Last time was under different circumstances. I think this time will be different.", Abby said to Clarke with a reassuring smile on her face.
"Let's hope so. Be careful traveling please. I hope Lexa told you to take warriors with you?", Clarke asked her mother.
"Yes, she said Titus will make sure I have people they trust with me.", Abby said to her daughter.
"Good be safe. When you get back the hunting party should have food for us.", Clarke said to her mother.
"We'll have empty stomachs I'm sure.", Abby said with a chuckle as Clarke hugged her. "I'm glad you're happy.", Abby said to Clarke as she hugged her tighter.
"It's good to be happy. No go before it gets any darker.", Clarke said to her mother.
"I love you, Clarke.", Abby said to her daughter.
"I love you too, mom.", Clarke said as Abby left Lexa's room. While waiting for Lexa to come back to the room. Clarke decided to go out on the balcony to look out on the city of Polis.
"I love coming out here, the smell of food, people chatting. The kids playing, it grounds me.", Lexa said as she wrapped her arms around Clarke's waist from behind.
"I can see why. It's a beautiful view. I loved looking out of my balcony when I was here. But your view is even better.", Clarke said to Lexa.
"Hmm that's why I chose this room as my own. Plus you can see the gates from here. I felt like I was keeping an eye on my people while they enjoyed themselves.", Lexa said to Clarke.
"You think we can raise a family here? Eventually that is, I'm not in any rush to have kids. We have some things to accomplish before that happens.", Clarke said to Lexa.
"I think we can do anything as long as we do it together. We will have peace, Clarke. I can feel it. We will succeed in that. I would love to raise kids with you in the Capital. I want to change the rules of the Conclave. No killing, I want them to fight only using their skills. Whoever comes out on top will be the new Commander. I want that to be my legacy, plus it gives me a chance to retire and settle down with you.", Lexa said to Clarke.
"I think you should be Commander for as long as you can. Make a bigger difference before you retire.", Clarke said to Lexa.
"Oh I plan to keep making differences. But I also plan to grow old with my wife, have a few kids, even grandkids.", Lexa said to Clarke with a smile on her face.
"That sounds like a great life you have planned for us.", Clarke said to Lexa with a loving smile on her face.
"Sorry to interrupt a cute moment.", Luna said as she walked into Lexa's room.
"Seems to be a trend.", Clarke said with a laugh.
"It's good to see you again, old friend.", Lexa said to Luna with a wide smile on her face.
"Good to see you too. Glad you aren't dead.", Luna said to Lexa which got Lexa to laugh. "Clarke, no hard feelings?", Luna said to Clarke with a smile on her face and her hand held out.
"No hard feelings.", Clarke said with a smile and grabbed Luna's arm in greeting.
"Indra said we have some things to change?", Luna asked the girls.
"We do a lot of things actually. Some of it includes fighting, sorry I know you avoid that.", Clarke said to Luna.
"Hmm, if it makes me uncomfortable you know I will step back.", Luna said to Clarke.
"I figured a much.", Clarke said to Luna.
"You're a good fighter, it would be fun to fight beside you again.", Lexa said to Luna.
"Thank you, sister, but I think I would rather be a part of the talking than the fighting.", Luna said to Lexa. "I'm assuming we're still going to need to make Nightblood?", Luna asked Clarke.
"Probably, I'm hoping not. But it works, found that out after you died. Sorry it took so long to figure that out.", Clarke said to Luna.
"I knew you could do it, we just didn't have enough time. This time will be different.", Luna said to Clarke.
"I still have nightblood. Don't ask, I don't know how I came back with it. But everyone else that we made into nightbloods aren't nightbloods anymore. Plus you aren't the only nightblood so we can have everyone to help this time around.", Clarke said to Luna.
"Something after I died?", Lexa asked Clarke. Beginning to get a headache with everything that's going on.
"Exactly.", Clarke said to Lexa. "Might want to take something for the headache. It's not going to go away any time soon.", Clarke said to Lexa with a laugh to her voice.
"I have a feeling a few of us will be getting headaches.", Luna said to Clarke and Lexa.
"I've had a headache since I came back.", Clarke said to them with a smirk on her face.
"Well for tonight we rest. Tomorrow we'll have a meeting with the ambassadors. We'll get their memories back and then we go from there.", Lexa said to the girls.
"The hunting party came back just a few moments after I came here.", Luna said to Lexa.
"Let's go grab food for everyone. We can eat in the medical room to watch over Raven.", Clarke said to them.
"Raven's here? Is she alright?", Luna asked Clarke in a concerned voice.
"One of my warriors shot an arrow at her. She had to have several surgeries by Clarke and Abby.", Lexa said to Luna. "Before you get mad, I didn't know it was them at the time. I got my memories back after that. Otherwise I wouldn't have sent my warriors if I knew who it was.", Lexa said to Luna.
"I know, just don't let it happen again.", Luna said to Lexa.
"It won't.", Lexa said to Luna and Clarke.
"You care for you don't you?", Clarke said with a knowing smirk on her face.
"I am not answering that.", Luna said with a straight face.
"Well if it means anything to you. She cares for you too.", Clarke said with a smirk on her face as the three of them left Lexa's room.
"This will be fun.", Lexa said with a chuckle to her voice.
"Wait, she said that?", Luna asked as she followed Clarke out of Lexa's room.
"Yes, I mean she was drugged up on painkillers. But I'm pretty sure she meant what she said.", Clarke said to Luna with a smirk on her face.
"Clarke, don't rile her up.", Lexa said with a laugh to her voice.
"I'm not trying to. Just telling her the truth!", Clarke said with a smirk on her face.
"I will keep this information to myself.", Luna said to Clarke and Lexa as they walked into the eating hall.
"Looks like the Raven crew is already getting their food.", Lexa said when she noticed Titus showing Clarke's people the food.
"Good, I was hoping we weren't going to need to pry them away from Raven to eat.", Clarke said to Lexa.
"I was afraid of that as well.", Lexa said to Clarke with a small smile on her face.
"I would still like to eat near Raven.", Luna said to them.
"We will, I want to check on her. I know Jackson is keeping an eye on her. But I need to see for myself how she's doing.", Clarke said to Luna with a warm smile on her face.
"She's tough, she'll be just fine once she rests.", Lexa said to Clarke with a reassuring smile on her face.
"Yeah, except Raven doesn't like to sit and do nothing. It's like trying to get a toddler to sit down for longer than a minute. She's very stubborn.", Clarke said to Lexa.
"I'm sure we can get her to relax, she has no choice if she wants to get better.", Lexa said to Clarke. "Hopefully she won't have much damage to her leg like last time.", Lexa said to Clarke.
"We won't know that until the swelling goes down.", Clarke said to her. "I'm hoping she'll have little to no damage.", Clarke said to Lexa.
"That we can agree on.", Luna said to Clarke. "I know she was in a lot of pain last time around.", Luna said to Clarke and Lexa.
"She still might be in some pain. There might be nerve damage but we'll see.", Clarke said to Luna.
