CHAPTER 375
Despite Rebirtha's retreat the spinosaurus was showing signs that she was not ready for the battle to be over. With a hiss and a growl she crawled over Gigantor's dead body and poised for another attack. There was a sinister gleam in the spinosaur's eye and a glint on her teeth where blood and saliva caught the daylight.
Seeing the threat, Rebirtha knew that she could not simply back out of this situation with a cautious eye. As fast as she could wield her girth the tyrannosaur turned her body and ran.
With a nefarious grin the spinosaurus charged after her. She chased Rebirtha along the outskirts of the concrete pad. As they rounded a corner Rebirtha clipped the pallet stacks, and many of them came crumbling down. The spinosaurus plowed through the falling rubble as though nothing was in her way.
Not far past the bend was a donkey truck with an empty flatbed. Rebirtha dodged aside to pass it, but the spinosaurus had caught up with her. Giving Rebirtha a mighty side check the tyrannosaur toppled onto the bare flatbed. The truck's suspension sank as the spinosaur pinned Rebirtha. The bed tipped and the whole truck rolled over onto its side.
Rebirtha spilled off of the truck bed and rolled towards the woods. The t-re stood up with a battered disposition and bellowed at the spinosaur from the other side of the truck. The two of them circled the vehicle's wreckage part way, and then Rebirtha broke into another sprint.
