Chapter 30 Interview

At Hotel Transylvania, Johnny made some calls to Interpol telling the organization about Emily recognizing Barkis and saying the man was a murderer that had been active for over a hundred years. The people of Interpol were admittedly hesitant about the claim, but with the new discovery of monsters revealing their existence and joining human society there was actually evidence to support this claim that a murderer was still active after a hundred years. A couple of agents were sent to Hotel Transylvania to speak with Emily. One was a black man named Daniel Leday and a white woman name Alice Dewolf.
The two agents met with Emily in her room along with Dracula, Mavis, and Johnny and asked her a few questions about her first life, when she was human and her previous experience with Barkis. It brought up some bad memories, but with the help of her loved ones, Emily told the agents everything she remembered. The agents then went through various old files of murdered rich women over the years and with the information Emily had provided compared to some other testimonies from the other cases they began to see a pattern that did point to the man Emily claimed to be Barkis the Bride Butcher.
"It appears we have more then enough information to have this Barkis fellow investigated." Said Dewolf.
"You have enough to arrest Barkis?" Asked Dracula.
"Not quite yet. Though we do have enough to freeze his assets and put him under house arrest. While that is done we will search his properties and do a full investigation into Barkis and I'm sure will find something that we can put him in jail for a very long time." Said Leday.
"Good enough for me. That evil man will pay for his crimes." Said Emily feeling very satisfied.
The agents thanked Emily and left the hotel to get some paperwork done and then they would investigate Barkis.
