Chapter 124: Azalea Gym Battle! Ash vs Bugsy!

Hello everyone, this chapter will mainly focus on Ash's gym battle against Bugsy. I hope you all enjoy it!

The chapter begins where the last one left off with the group entering the Azalea Gym. When they do they see multiple trees everywhere along with a big battlefield. The group look around in awe as Ash speaks.

"So, this is the gym? It looks like a garden." Ash says as Brock speaks.

"I wasn't expecting to see so many trees. It kind of reminds me of Erika's Gym." Brock says with the group nodding. Over with Misty she feels something on her left leg making her look down. When she does, she sees a Weedle, Misty gets a scared look on her face and speaks.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Misty lets out a loud yell, runs forward causing the Weedle to get off her leg and hide behind a tree as Ash speaks.

"Misty come out it was just a Weedle." Ash says as Brock speaks.

"Yeah, and didn't you say that you got over your fear of Bug type Pokémon on Murcott Island?" Brock asks as Misty speaks.

"Well yes but bug types still creep me out!' Misty exclaims as Ash speaks.

"But you seem fine with the bug types next to you." Ash says making Misty confused as she looks around and sees multiple bug types surrounding her. Misty gets a scared look on her face letting out another loud yell, runs forward and quickly gets behind Ash's back for safety. Ash along with Pikachu, Brock and Togetic let out a sigh as they then hear a voice.

"So, you're the one that's making all of that noise." The voice says making the group look as they see a boy around Ash and Misty's age with lavender hair, wearing a green short sleeve shirt/shorts and brown shoes sitting in a tree. The group look at him as Ash speaks.

"Um who are you?" Ash asks as the boy speaks.

"Um shouldn't you be the ones to introduce yourselves first?" The boy says as Ash speaks.

"My name's Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town and I'm here to have a gym battle." Ash responds with Misty and Brock introducing themselves too. The boy nods as he speaks.

"Oh, so you're here to challenge the gym and now that I take a closer look at you, you're that kid that challenged the Kanto and Orange leagues, right?" The boy says with Ash nodding as the boy speaks.

"My name's Bugsy and I'm the Gym Leader of the Azalea Gym." Bugsy says with the group nodding as Misty speaks.

"So, he's the gym leader." Misty says as Ash speaks.

"Nice to meet you Bugsy now come on let's battle!" Ash says with Bugsy nodding as he speaks.

"Okay but first could you guys' hand me that ladder because I'm stuck up here." Bugsy says causing the group to comedically fall as a few seconds later they hand the ladder to Bugsy allowing for him to get down from the tree. Once he makes it down, he looks at the group as Brock speaks.

"It's a good thing that we came when we did otherwise you would've been stuck in that tree." Brock says as Bugsy speaks.

"Well, I wouldn't have been stuck if your friend over there didn't scream causing me to knock down my ladder." Bugsy says while pointing over to Misty and making her annoyed as Bugsy looks at Ash and speaks.

"Okay Ash let's head to the battlefield." Bugsy says with Ash nodding as they walk over to the field and take their spots, the two boys look at each other while having smiles on their faces. Over with Brock and Misty Brock speaks.

"I get it now seeing as Bugsy's a bug type Gym Leader he modeled his gym like a garden for the bug types that live here." Brock says as Misty speaks.

"Hopefully no more of them come jumping out." Misty says while having a scared look on her face. Back on the battlefield the referee has made himself known he takes the referee spot and begins to speak.

"This is a full 6v6 single battle between Bugsy the Azalea Gym Leader and the challenger Ash Ketchum of Pallet Town. Only the challenger is allowed to make substitutions and whoever defeats all of their opponents Pokémon first will be declared the winner!" The ref says with Bugsy and Ash nodding as the ref continues to speak.

"Now will both trainers please bring out your first Pokémon!" The ref says as Bugsy pulls out a Pokeball and speaks.

"Here's my first bug type! Shuckle come out!" Bugsy says as he throws the ball forward and sends out a Shuckle. When the mon appears, it looks forward and is waiting for its opponent as Ash speaks.

"So, a Shuckle is up first huh? Then I'll go with." Ash says to himself as he pulls out his first Pokeball and speaks.

"Cyndaquil, I choose you!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and sends out Cyndaquil. When Cyndaquil appears, he looks at Shuckle with the mon looking at him. Over with Misty she speaks.

"The first battle is going to be between Shuckle and Cyndaquil." Misty says as Brock speaks.

"Hmmm looks like either of them has the full advantage as they both have typing's that are super effective against each other." Brock says with Misty nodding. Back on the battlefield Cyndaquil lets out a yawn showcasing that he's tired as Bugsy speaks.

"Looks like your Cyndaquil is sleepy are you sure that it was a good idea to send it out?" Bugsy asks as Ash speaks.

"Yeah, we had a pretty long training session last night and even though he's tired this battle will help wake/heat him up." Ash responds with Cyndaquil agreeing with him and making Bugsy smile. After that Shuckle along with Cyndaquil get into battle stances and look at each other waiting for the match to begin. A few seconds later the ref speaks.

"Now that both trainers have sent out their Pokémon let the battle begin!" The ref calls as Bugsy speaks.

"I'll go first. Shuckle use Stone Edge!" Bugsy calls with Shuckle nodding as it summons multiple large sharp stones around itself and sends them at Cyndaquil as Ash speaks.

"Cyndaquil dodge!" Ash calls. Cyndaquil nods and begins to easily evade the sharp stones as Bugsy speaks.

"Now Shuckle use Gyro Ball!" Bugsy calls. Shuckle curls into a ball, covers its body in steel energy, shoots forward and hits Cyndaquil. Cyndaquil's sent sliding back a few feet away and lands on his stomach as Ash speaks.

"Cyndaquil!" Ash calls in worry as over with Cyndaquil he groans a little in pain but manages to stand back up. Over with Misty she speaks.

"Even though Gyro Ball's a steel type move it looks like it did a lot of damage to Cyndaquil." Misty says as Brock speaks.

"Gyro Ball is a move where if the user is slower than its opponent then it does more damage upon impact." Brock says with Misty nodding. Back on the battlefield Cyndaquil continues to groan in pain but then a couple seconds later he manages to ignite the flames on his back making Ash happy as he speaks.

"Nice looks like you're fully awake! Now it's time to counterattack." Ash says with Cyndaquil nodding as Bugsy speaks.

"Like I'm going to let you. Shuckle use Stone Edge again!" Bugsy calls with Shuckle nodding as when it goes to use the move Ash speaks.

"Cyndaquil quick use Smokescreen!" Ash calls. Cyndaquil quickly fires out a big cloud of smoke from his mouth that connects with Shuckle causing the mon to cough and cover the entire battlefield as Bugsy speaks.

"He's blocking our vision." Bugsy says as he speaks.

"Shuckle be careful Cyndaquil can appear from anywhere!" Bugsy says with Shuckle nodding as it begins trying to look for Cyndaquil Ash speaks.

"Cyndaquil use Flamethrower!" Ash calls. Inside the smoke Cyndaquil fires out a big stream of fire that heads for Shuckle as Bugsy speaks.

"Shuckle use Protect then fire a Stone Edge in that direction!" Bugsy calls with Shuckle nodding as it quickly summons a protective barrier and blocks the stream of fire. Shuckle then launches a big sharp stone at where the Flamethrower came from but doesn't feel as though it connected. Shuckle continues looking for Cyndaquil as unbeknownst to it Cyndaquil's right behind the mon as Ash speaks.

"Use Flamethrower!" Ash calls. Cyndaquil quickly fires out a large stream of fire that connects with Shuckle causing damage to the mon as Bugsy speaks.

"Shuckle use Stone Edge!" "Cyndaquil dodge with Flame Wheel!" Both trainers' call. Shuckle manages to break through the flames and fires out multiple large stones that go everywhere. Cyndaquil quickly becomes a wheel of fire and begins to easily evade the sharp stones. A few seconds later the sharp stones manage to clear the Smokescreen revealing Cyndaquil's location as Bugsy's speaks.

"Now Shuckle use Gyro Ball!" Bugsy calls. Shuckle curls into its body glows in steel energy and heads for Cyndaquil as Ash speaks.

"Cyndaquil counter with Flame Wheel!" Ash calls. Cyndaquil nods as he continues using Flame Wheel, shoots forward and collides with Shuckle. When the two mons collide, they begin pushing each other back and forth for a little bit until they then slide away from each other. Cyndaquil manages to stop himself as Ash speaks.

"Okay Cyndaquil use Flamethrower again!" Ash calls. Cyndaquil nods as when he goes to use the move Bugsy speaks.

"Shuckle use Toxic!" Bugsy calls. Shuckle quickly fires out a toxic blob that instantly makes contact with Cyndaquil before he can use Flamethrower. Cyndaquil begins to cough as he's now poisoned, surprising Ash as Bugsy speaks.

"Use Stone Edge!" Bugsy calls. Shuckle nods as it shoots out multiple large stones at Cyndaquil Ash speaks.

"Dodge Cyndaquil!" Ash calls with Cyndaquil nodding as he quickly jumps to the left dodging the sharp stones. Bugsy gets a smile on his face as he calls for his next command.

"Now Shuckle use Gyro Ball!" Bugsy calls. Shuckle quickly curls into a ball, glows in steel energy, shoots forward and hits Cyndaquil sending the mon flying. Cyndaquil lands back on the battlefield a few feet away landing on his stomach as Ash speaks.

"Cyndaquil!" Ash calls in worry as Cyndaquil groans in pain but manages to stand up. Cyndaquil then takes poison damage and is panting heavily. Ash looks at Cyndaquil and sees that it'd be a bad idea to keep him in for now. Ash pulls out Cyndaquil's Pokeball and speaks.

"Cyndaquil return!" Ash says with Cyndaquil nodding as he goes back into his Pokeball. Ash looks at the ball telling Cyndaquil that he'll save him for later then puts the ball away as Bugsy speaks.

"Well retreating is better than losing." Bugsy says as Brock speaks.

"Good thing Ash returned Cyndaquil because if he had him stay out longer, he would've lost." Brock says with Misty nodding. Back on the battlefield Bugsy looks over at Ash and speaks.

"Now that you've returned your fire type who are you sending in next?" Bugsy asks as Ash pulls out his next Pokeball and speaks.

"This one. Sneasel, I choose you!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and sends out his Hisuian Sneasel. When the mon appears, she has a smile on her face and is ready to battle as Bugsy speaks.

"A Hisuian Sneasel huh? Not a bad choice but I'm confident that my Shuckle can still take it down." Bugsy says with his Shuckle nodding as Ash speaks.

"We'll see about that. Sneasel get ready!" Ash says with Sneasel nodding as she along with Shuckle get into battle stances. The ref calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.

"Let's go Sneasel! Run forward!" Ash says with Sneasel nodding as she begins running forward heading for Shuckle as Bugsy speaks.

"Trying to get in close huh? Shuckle use Sticky Web!" Bugsy calls. Shuckle nods as it spits out multiple webs from its mouth that head for Sneasel as Ash speaks.

"Sneasel blow them away with Sludge Bomb then use Quick Attack!" Ash calls. Sneasel nods as she fires out multiple bombs of sludge from her mouth that connect with the webs and easily destroys them. Sneasel begins to run faster and hits Shuckle causing some damage to the mon. Shuckle groans a little in pain then looks at Sneasel as Bugsy speaks.

"Shuckle now that Sneasel's close use Stone Edge!" "Sneasel back away then use Sludge Bomb!" Both trainers' call. Shuckle roars and summons a big sharp stone from the ground that goes to hit Sneasel, but the mon jumps back easily avoiding it. Sneasel lands a few feet away, takes a deep breath and fires out multiple bombs of sludge that head for Shuckle as Bugsy speaks.

"Shuckle use Gyro Ball!" Bugsy calls. Shuckle nods as it curls into a ball, glows in steel energy and begins spinning in place easily deflecting the bombs of sludge. Then once Shuckle stops spinning it comes out of its shell as Ash speaks.

"Now Sneasel use Toxic!" Ash calls surprising Bugsy as before he can call for a command Sneasel quickly spits out a blob of poison from her mouth that connects with Shuckle. When that happens, Shuckle begins to cough and has now gained the poisoned status. Bugsy has a surprised look on his face while Ash smiles. Off to the side Brock speaks.

"Ash knows that Shuckle has very high defenses meaning that it would take a while for Sneasel to cause significant damage to Shuckle so now that it's poisoned it'll take more damage over time." Brock says with Misty nodding. Back on the battlefield Bugsy speaks.

"So, that's what you're planning." Bugsy says with Ash nodding as he speaks.

"Yep, and it's also pay back for when Shuckle used Toxic on Cyndaquil." Ash says with Bugsy nodding as he speaks.

"Well in that case I'll just have Shuckle take out your Sneasel before it takes him down. Shuckle use Gyro Ball!" Bugsy calls. Shuckle nods as it curls into a ball, glows in steel energy and shoots forward heading for Sneasel as Ash speaks.

"Sneasel counter with Brick Break!" Ash calls. Sneasel's right claws glow white and connect with Shuckle. When the two mons collide, they begin trying to overpower the other with neither one giving in until a few seconds later Shuckle stops because of the poison. Ash then speaks.

"Sneasel use Rock Smash!" Ash calls. Sneasel nods as she covers her left claws in red fighting energy and jabs Shuckle causing more damage to the mon. Shuckle groans in pain then looks at Sneasel as Bugsy speaks.

"Use Sticky Web!" Bugsy calls. Shuckle nods as it quickly fires out a big web from its mouth that connects with Sneasel harshly lowering her speed. Sneasel begins trying to get out of the web as Shuckle moves back a few feet away Bugsy speaks.

"Now Shuckle use Shell Smash then Stone Edge!" Bugsy calls. Shuckle roars as it glows a bright red raising its physical/special attack and speed while lowering its physical/special defense. Shuckle then fires out multiple large sharp stones at Sneasel as Ash speaks.

"Sneasel dodge!" Ash calls. Back on the battlefield Sneasel tries but can't because of the Sticky Web restricting her movements. This allows for the sharp stones to hit Sneasel causing damage, breaking her out of the web and sliding back a few feet away as she falls on her back Ash speaks.

"Sneasel!" Ash calls in worry as over with Sneasel she's groaning in pain but can still battle as Bugsy speaks.

"Okay Shuckle let's finish Sneasel off! Use Gyro Ball!" Bugsy calls with Shuckle nodding as it curls into a ball, glows in steel energy and shoots forward heading for Sneasel. Off to the side Brock speaks.

"If Shuckle hits Sneasel she might faint!" Brock says as over with Misty she looks at Ash who isn't worried. Back on the battlefield Shuckle's getting closer to Sneasel as Ash speaks.

"Sneasel stop Shuckle!" Ash calls with Sneasel nodding as she stands up and collides with Shuckle. Once Sneasel does that she begins trying to stop Shuckle but is having a hard time as Bugsy speaks.

"You just made a mistake Ash. Shuckle overpower Sneasel!" Bugsy calls with Shuckle nodding as it begins to go faster making it harder for Sneasel to hold on as Ash speaks.

"Actually, Bugsy I didn't make a mistake. Sneasel use Bulk Up!" Ash calls with Sneasel nodding as she increases her physical attack/defense. Once Sneasel does that it makes it easier to hold onto Shuckle and stop it. Bugsy has a surprised look on his face as Ash speaks.

"Okay Sneasel use Rock Smash!" "Shuckle quick roll away!" Both trainers' call. When Shuckle tries to roll away it can't because of the poison making it cough. This allows for Sneasel to cover her left claws in red fighting energy and hit Shuckle causing damage to the mon. Shuckle groans in pain and can feel that its physical defense has gotten lower then looks up at Sneasel who has her right claws ready as Ash speaks.

"Now use Brick Break then Sludge Bomb!" "Shuckle use Protect!" Both trainers' call. Unfortunately for Bugsy Shuckle can't use Protect in time as Sneasel's right claws glow white and begins hitting Shuckle repeatedly with each hit causing more damage than the last. When Sneasel's done she takes a deep breath and fires out a big bomb of sludge that makes contact with Shuckle creating an explosion as Bugsy speaks.

"Shuckle!" Bugsy calls in worry. When the dust clears it shows Shuckle lying on its back knocked out. The ref makes the call.

"Shuckle's unable to battle Sneasel's the winner!" The ref calls allowing for Ash, Pikachu and Sneasel to cheer as Ash speaks.

"Great job Sneasel I knew you could do it!" Ash says with Sneasel nodding as she runs over to the boy and when she makes it, she asks Ash to pet her head with Ash doing just that making Sneasel happy. Off to the side Misty along with Togetic and Brock cheer too as Misty speaks.

"They took down Shuckle!" "Tic!" Misty along with Togetic say as Brock speaks.

"Ash calling for Bulk Up was a smart move as it increased Sneasel's attack/defense allowing for her to take the hit from Gyro Ball and stop Shuckle. After that it allowed Sneasel to weaken Shuckle's defense more with Rock Smash, cause more damage with Brick Break then finally defeat it with Sludge Bomb!" Brock says with Misty nodding. Back on the battlefield Bugsy returns Shuckle back to its Pokeball, tells it good job and puts the ball away. Bugsy then looks over at Ash and speaks.

"I'm surprised your Sneasel managed to defeat my Shuckle I was sure that he would've defeated it." Bugsy says making Ash look at him as he speaks.

"Last night I taught Sneasel Bulk Up as I felt as though it would help increase not only her attack but also defense as Sneasel's aren't known for having a high defense." Ash says with Bugsy nodding as he speaks.

"I see that makes sense. Now then I think it's time I bring in my next one." Bugsy says as he pulls out his next Pokeball and goes to throw it.

"Araquanid you're next!" Bugsy says as he throws the ball forward and sends out a shiny Araquanid. When the mon appears, it has a serious look on its face as Ash looks at it and speaks.

"So, an Araquanid's next. Sneasel, do you want to continue?" Ash asks with Sneasel nodding as she runs back onto the battlefield and looks at Araquanid with the mon looking at her. The ref calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.

"Let's go Sneasel use Sludge Bomb!" Ash calls. Sneasel nods as she takes a deep breath and fires out multiple bombs of sludge that heads for the water spider as Bugsy speaks.

"Use Liquidation to knock them away then use Hydro Pump!" Bugsy calls. Araquanid nods as it quickly covers its two front legs in water and swings them out easily knocking away the bombs of sludge. Araquanid then fires out a large stream of water from its mouth that heads for Sneasel as Ash speaks.

"Sneasel dodge then use Quick Attack and Poison Jab!" Ash calls. Sneasel quickly jumps to the left and easily dodges the stream of water. Sneasel then shoots forward at a fast speed, covers her right claws in poison and goes to hit Araquanid as Bugsy speaks.

"Use Sticky Web!" Bugsy calls surprising Ash as when Sneasel's about to hit Araquanid the water spider quickly shoots out a web from its mouth that wraps around Sneasel causing her to fall on the ground. Sneasel begins trying to get out of the webbing but is having a hard time as Bugsy speaks.

"Now Araquanid use Hydro Pump!" "Sneasel get out of there!" Both trainers' call. Unfortunately for Ash Sneasel's unable to free herself which allows for Araquanid to fire out the stream of water that consumes Sneasel, sending her flying as she falls back on the battlefield a few feet away, landing on her back Ash speaks.

"Sneasel!" Ash calls in worry as when the dust clears everyone can see that Sneasel is knocked out. The ref makes the call.

"Sneasel's unable to battle Araquanid's the winner!" The ref calls allowing for Bugsy and Araquanid to smile. Off to the side Brock speaks.

"Ash wasn't expecting Bugsy's Araquanid to know Sticky Web, Bugsy knew that and purposely drew in Sneasel close to trap her then defeat her with Hydro Pump." Brock says with Misty nodding. Back on the battlefield Ash returns Sneasel back to her Pokeball, tells her good job and to get a good rest. Ash then puts the ball back on his belt then begins to think.

"Araquanid's pretty good and that Sticky Web is tricky to deal with, so I'll bring you in next." Ash says to himself while looking at his next Pokeball and goes to throw it.

"Decidueye, I choose you!" Ash says as he throws the ball in the air and out of it appears Decidueye. The owl flies in the air for a little bit then lands on the ground and looks at Araquanid with Araquanid looking at him. Off to the side Misty speaks.

"It's now Decidueye's turn." Misty says as Brock speaks.

"And similar with Shuckle and Cyndaquil in the beginning both Pokémon have typing's that are super effective to each other." Brock says with Misty nodding. Back on the battlefield Bugsy looks at Decidueye and speaks.

"So, a Decidueye's your next choice it sure looks strong." Bugsy says as Ash speaks.

"Yep, and he's going to take down your Araquanid!" Ash states with Decidueye agreeing with him and making Bugsy smirk as he speaks.

"We'll see about that." Bugsy says as Araquanid along with Decidueye get into battle stances. The ref calls for the battle to continue as Bugsy speaks.

"Use Lunge!" Bugsy calls. Araquanid nods as it glows in green bug energy and shoots forward going to hit Decidueye as Ash speaks.

"Fly in the air to dodge then use Spirit Shackle!" Ash calls. Decidueye nods as he quickly flies in the air dodging Araquanid's attack. Decidueye then fires out one of his quills that's filled with ghost energy at Araquanid as Bugsy speaks.

"Dodge then use Sticky Web!" Bugsy calls. Araquanid manages to easily dodge the quill then begins firing out multiple webs at Decidueye as Ash speaks.

"Dodge Decidueye then use Air Slash!" Ash calls. Decidueye begins flying around and is easily evading the webs. After Decidueye dodges another web, he flaps his wings forward, sending out multiple slashes of wind that easily gets rid of the Sticky Web and heads for Araquanid. Bugsy calls for his next command.

"Counter with Hydro Pump!" Bugsy calls Araquanid nods and fires out a big stream of water that blows away the slashes of wind and heads for Decidueye as Ash speaks.

"Get rid of it with Leaf Blade!" Ash calls. Decidueye nods as he covers his wings in grass energy and easily cuts the Hydro Pump in half. When Decidueye does that Araquanid suddenly appears in front of him as Bugsy speaks.

"Now use Lunge then Sticky Web!" Bugsy calls. Before Ash can call for a command Araquanid hits Decidueye causing super effective damage and lowering Decidueye's physical attack power. Araquanid then fires out a sticky web that wraps around Decidueye lowering his speed and causing him to fall back on the battlefield landing on his back. Decidueye begins trying to break out of the webbing and as he's doing that Araquanid begins falling towards him as Bugsy speaks.

"Araquanid use Leech Life!" Bugsy calls. Araquanid nods as its teeth glow in green bug energy and goes to bite down on Decidueye as Ash smiles and speaks.

"Decidueye use Phantom Force!" Ash calls surprising Bugsy as when Araquanid's about to hit Decidueye, the ghost owl summons a portal behind himself and goes inside it dodging Araquanid's attack. Araquanid lands on the ground and has a confused look on its face as a couple seconds later a portal appears on its left side. Out of the portal appears Decidueye who's out of the sticky web, shoots forward and kicks Araquanid hard in the face with his right foot. Araquanid's sent sliding back a few feet away, stops itself and looks over at Decidueye who has a smile on his face. Over with Bugsy he speaks.

"Your Decidueye knows Phantom Force?" Bugsy asks with Ash nodding as he speaks.

"Yep, back at Oak's lab my Gengar along with Ceruledge helped teach Decidueye the move and he just finished mastering it last night." Ash responds with Bugsy nodding as he speaks.

"I see. Well that certainly makes things a lot trickier." Bugsy says with Ash nodding as he speaks.

"I hope so because now it's our turn to attack. Decidueye use Air Slash!" Ash calls. Decidueye flaps his wings forward and fires out multiple slashes of wind that head for Araquanid Bugsy speaks.

"Blow them away with Hydro Pump!" Bugsy calls. Araquanid roars and fires out a big stream of water that easily knocks away the slashes of wind and heads for Decidueye. Ash then speaks.

"Use Leaf Storm!" Ash calls. Decidueye roars and fires out a big storm of leaves that easily destroys the Hydro Pump and heads for Araquanid as Bugsy speaks.

"Counter with Bug Buzz!" Bugsy calls. Araquanid roars and fires out a wave of green bug energy that collides with the storm of leaves, easily gets rid of it and heads for Decidueye as Ash speaks.

"Dodge then use Spirit Shackle!" Ash calls. Decidueye easily evades the attack by flying high in the air then fires out a ghostly quill that heads for Araquanid. Bugsy speaks.

"Knock it away with Liquidation then use Lunge!" Bugsy calls. Araquanid nods as it covers its left front leg in water and easily knocks the quill away. Araquanid then glows in green bug energy, shoots forward and heads for Decidueye going to hit it. As Araquanid's getting closer Ash smiles and speaks.

"Use Feather Dance!" Ash calls. Decidueye nods as when Araquanid's about to hit him Decidueye flaps his wings forward and creates a feathered version of himself that Araquanid hits instead. Bugsy along with Araquanid have surprised looks on their faces with Araquanid feeling that its physical attack power has sharply decreased. Araquanid then looks forward and sees Decidueye staring at it as Ash speaks.

"Okay Decidueye use Brave Bird!" "Araquanid dodge!" Both trainers' call. Araquanid's unable to dodge in time as Decidueye glows a shiny blue, shoots forward and hits Araquanid creating an explosion as Bugsy speaks.

"Araquanid!" Bugsy calls in worry as out of the smoke appears Araquanid who falls back on the battlefield landing on its stomach groaning in pain. Up in the air we see Decidueye who takes some recoil damage but is overall fine then looks at Araquanid as Ash speaks.

"Great job Decidueye now's time to finish Araquanid off. Use Brave Bird again!" Ash calls with Decidueye nodding as he covers his body in a shiny blue and descends heading for Araquanid. Over with Bugsy he has a concerned look on his face as when Decidueye's about to hit Araquanid Bugsy speaks.

"Use Hydro Pump on the ground!" Bugsy calls with Araquanid nodding as it quickly fires out a big stream of water from its mouth propelling itself back and causing Decidueye to hit the battlefield instead. Ash has a surprised look on his face as over with Araquanid it lands a few feet away Bugsy speaks.

"Now use U-Turn!" Bugsy calls. Araquanid nods as it glows in green bug energy, shoots forward and hits Decidueye as he just finished standing up. Before Decidueye can counter Araquanid goes back into its Pokeball as another Pokémon that looks like a dragonfly appears taking its place as Ash speaks.

"Who's that Pokémon?" Ash questions as he takes out his Pokedex.

"Yanmega, the Ogre Darner Pokémon a Bug/Flying type and the fully evolved form of Yanma. When it flutters its wings, it creates a shock wave that can cause internal damage to its opponents." The Pokedex says as Ash speaks.

"So, that's a Yanmega." Ash says while looking at the mon as over with Misty she has a scared look on her face and speaks.

"It looks creepy." Misty says nervously as Brock speaks.

"This isn't a good match up for Ash's Decidueye." Brock says as before Misty can ask what Brock means back on the battlefield Ash speaks.

"Decidueye let's attack first! Use Air Slash!" Ash calls with Decidueye nodding as when he's about to use the move Bugsy speaks.

"Aerial Ace!" Bugsy calls with Yanmega nodding as it shoots forward at a fast speed and hits Decidueye creating an explosion as Ash speaks.

"Decidueye!" Ash calls in worry as out of the explosion appears Decidueye who falls back on the battlefield landing on his back and is groaning in pain. Decidueye looks up at Yanmega who glows slightly with Ash noticing too as he speaks.

"That glow just now does it have the Speed Boost ability?" Ash asks with Bugsy nodding as he speaks.

"That's right and now it's time for you to see how truly terrifying bug types can be. Yanmega use Air Slash!" Bugsy calls with Yanmega nodding as it instantly shoots out multiple slashes of wind that head for Decidueye. Ash quickly calls for a command.

"Decidueye use Phantom Force to dodge!" Ash calls. Decidueye nods as he quickly summons a portal and goes inside it easily evading the slashes of wind. The portal then appears on Yanmega's left side, Decidueye comes out of the portal and goes to hit Yanmega with his right foot as Bugsy speaks.

"Dodge with Double Team!" Bugsy calls surprising Ash as Yanmega instantly creates multiple clones causing Decidueye to hit one of them. Decidueye looks around and sees that he's surrounded as Bugsy speaks.

"Yanmega use Air Slash!" "Decidueye quick use Feather Dance!" Both trainers' call. Yanmega's speed increases thanks to its Speed Boost ability then it along with its clones begin firing out multiple slashes of wind at Decidueye. Decidueye quickly makes a feathered clone version of himself and dodges the slashes of wind. Once Decidueye does that Yanmega suddenly appears behind him as Bugsy speaks.

"Now use Dual Wingbeat!" Bugsy calls. Yanmega's wings glow as it hits Decidueye two times and sends the mon crashing back down on the battlefield creating a dust cloud as Ash speaks.

"Decidueye!" Ash calls in worry as when the dust clears Decidueye's lying on his stomach groaning in pain then stands up and looks at Yanmega who gets another speed increase Ash speaks.

"Use Air Slash!" "Yanmega use Supersonic!" Both trainers' call. When Decidueye's about to fire the slashes of wind Yanmega flaps its wings fast, sending out a sound that connects with Decidueye and makes him confused. Now that Decidueye's confused he makes a funny face and begins wobbling back and forth surprising Ash while Bugsy smiles and speaks.

"Yanmega end it with Aerial Ace!" Bugsy calls. Yanmega nods as it shoots forward at blinding speed and is about to hit Decidueye as Ash speaks.

"Decidueye return!" Ash says while pointing Decidueye's Pokeball forward and instantly returns the mon before Yanmega could hit him. Yanmega then flies back in the air as over with Misty, Brock and Togetic they let out a relief sigh as Misty speaks.

"That was close." Misty says with Brock agreeing with her. Back on the battlefield Bugsy looks at Ash and speaks.

"It was a good thing that you returned your Decidueye in time because if Yanmega's attack landed it would've fainted." Bugsy says with Ash nodding as he speaks.

"Yeah, I hate to admit it but you're right about that." Ash says as he puts Decidueye's Pokeball back on his belt Bugsy speaks.

"So, who's next?" Bugsy asks as Ash pulls out his next Pokeball and speaks.

"This one. Gigalith, I choose you!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and sends in Gigalith. Once Gigalith appears he lands on the battlefield causing it to shake then lets out a mighty roar. Gigalith then looks at Yanmega with Yanmega looking at him as Bugsy speaks.

"So, a Gigalith's next. Well, that doesn't scare us as with Yanmega's speed your Gigalith won't be able to touch him." Bugsy says with Yanmega nodding as Ash speaks.

"We'll see about that. Gigalith get ready!" Ash says with Gigalith nodding as he along with Yanmega get into battle stances. The ref calls for the battle to continue as Bugsy speaks.

"Use Steel Wing!" Bugsy calls with Yanmega nodding as its Speed Boost ability activates again, covers its wings in steel energy, shoots forward and hits Gigalith causing super effective damage. Yanmega quickly flies in the air as Ash speaks.

"It's gotten even faster." Ash says as Bugsy speaks.

"Yep, and we're not done yet. Yanmega use Steel Wing again!" "Gigalith quick use Protect!" Both trainers' call. Yanmega's wings glow in steel energy then shoots forward going to hit Gigalith. Just when Yanmega's just inches away from hitting Gigalith, Gigalith quickly summons a protective barrier and blocks the Steel Wing. Yanmega begins trying to break through the barrier but isn't able to and is then bounced back as Ash speaks.

"Gigalith use Sandstorm then Rock Polish!" Ash calls. Gigalith lets out a mighty roar as he summons a giant storm of sand that covers the entire battlefield and Gigalith also increases his speed with Rock Polish. Inside the sandstorm Yanmega's taking damage from the sand as Bugsy speaks.

"Yanmega blow the Sandstorm away with Whirlwind!" "Gigalith quick use Flash Cannon!" Both trainers' call. Before Yanmega can use Whirlwind Gigalith quickly fires out a steel beam that hits Yanmega causing damage to the mon and making it stop as Ash speaks.

"Use Stone Edge!" Ash calls. Gigalith roars and fires out multiple sharp stones that head for Yanmega as Bugsy speaks.

"Use Steel Wing!" Bugsy calls. Yanmega covers its wings in steel energy and begins to easily destroy the sharp stones as Ash speaks.

"Use Smack Down!" Ash calls. Gigalith nods as he spits out a stone that makes contact with Yanmega creating an explosion and sends it crashing down on the ground. Yanmega's groaning in pain and is taking some Sandstorm damage. Yanmega then looks forward and sees Gigalith as Ash speaks.

"Use Stone Edge!" Ash calls. Gigalith roars and fires out multiple sharp stones that head for Yanmega as Bugsy speaks.

"Use Double Team to dodge then use Supersonic!" Bugsy calls. Yanmega quickly creates multiple clones of itself letting them get hit by the sharp stones as the real one flies in the air. Yanmega's about to use Supersonic but then notices a portal above its head as Ash speaks.

"Use Rockslide!" Ash calls. Before Bugsy can call for a command Gigalith roars as out of the portal appears multiple large boulders that connect with Yanmega causing super effective damage and sends the mon crashing back on the battlefield. Yanmega's groaning in pain then looks forward and sees Gigalith charging up a meteor beam as Ash speaks.

"Use Meteor Beam!" Ash calls. Gigalith can feel his special attack power increase then lets out a mighty roar firing out a large yellow beam that goes to hit Yanmega Bugsy speaks.

"Yanmega use Substitute then U-Turn!" Bugsy calls. Yanmega nods as it quickly creates a clone of itself and disappears as the clone takes the hit instead creating an explosion. Yanmega then appears in front of Gigalith, glows in green bug energy, shoots forward and hits him. Yanmega then goes back in its Pokeball as Bugsy's shiny Araquanid comes out taking its place, the Sandstorm also goes away as Bugsy speaks.

"Use Hydro Pump!" Bugsy calls. Araquanid roars and fires out a large stream of water that heads for Gigalith as Ash speaks.

"Quick use Protect!" Ash calls. Gigalith quickly summons a protective barrier and blocks the attack. Then when the barrier goes down Araquanid suddenly appears in front of Gigalith and has its legs ready as Bugsy speaks.

"Use Liquidation!" "Gigalith back away then use Stone Edge!" Both trainers' call. Araquanid covers its front legs in water and goes to hit Gigalith, but Gigalith quickly jumps back. Gigalith lands a few feet away then fires out multiple sharp stones that head for Araquanid as Bugsy speaks.

"Blow them away with Hydro Pump!" Bugsy calls. Araquanid roars and fires out a large stream of water that easily destroys the sharp stones and hits Gigalith causing super effective damage. Gigalith cries out in pain from the attack as Bugsy speaks.

"Good now use Sticky Web!" Bugsy calls. Araquanid nods and quickly fires out a sticky web that wraps around Gigalith making him immobile and lowering his speed. Ash grits his teeth while Bugsy smiles and speaks.

"Now Araquanid use Liquidation!" Bugsy calls. Araquanid shoots forward, covers its legs in water and begins hitting Gigalith repeatedly with each hit doing more than the last. Gigalith's groaning in pain as Ash speaks.

"Gigalith hang in there!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu cheer with Gigalith nodding as Araquanid hits him one more time with Liquidation causing more damage. Araquanid then looks at Gigalith and has its mouth opened as Bugsy speaks.

"Okay Araquanid finish Gigalith off with Hydro Pump!" Bugsy calls with Araquanid nodding as when it fires the move Ash speaks.

"Gigalith use Endure!" Ash calls surprising Bugsy as when the Hydro Pump makes contact Gigalith's body glows and begins to take the hit. Inside the Hydro Pump Gigalith's groaning in pain but can still battle as he looks at Araquanid and has his mouth opened as Ash speaks.

"Gigalith begin charging up a Meteor Beam!" Ash calls. Gigalith nods and begins to charge up the beam while still in the Hydro Pump as Bugsy speaks.

"Araquanid quick back away!" Bugsy calls with Araquanid nodding as it stops using Hydro Pump and quickly jumps back to avoid the beam. When that happens, Ash smiles and speaks.

"Now Gigalith use Rockslide!" Ash calls. "What?!" Bugsy says in surprise as Gigalith stops using Meteor Beam and roars as a portal appears above Araquanid's head causing multiple boulders to appear out of it. The boulders make contact with Araquanid causing damage to the mon and pinning it down on the ground. Araquanid's groaning in pain then looks forward and sees Gigalith looking at it while having its mouth opened as Ash speaks.

"Okay Gigalith use Meteor Beam!" Ash calls. Gigalith can feel his special attack power increasing, lets out a mighty roar and fires out a big yellow beam that heads for Araquanid as Bugsy speaks.

"Counter with Hydro Pump!" Bugsy calls but was too late as the beam makes contact with Araquanid creating an explosion as Bugsy speaks.

"Araquanid!" Bugsy calls in worry. Over with Gigalith he's panting heavily and looks forward to see the results. When the smoke clears it shows Araquanid lying on its stomach knocked out as the ref makes the call.

"Araquanid's unable to battle Gigalith's the winner!" The ref calls allowing for Ash and Pikachu to cheer while Gigalith roars in victory. Off to the side Misty, Togetic and Brock cheer too as back on the battlefield Ash looks at Gigalith and speaks.

"Great job Gigalith!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu say with Gigalith nodding. Over with Bugsy he's returned Araquanid back to its Pokeball, tells it thank you and puts the ball away. Bugsy then looks over at Ash and speaks.

"Your Gigalith sure is tough Ash I was sure that Araquanid would've taken it down. You got us good by tricking us into thinking Gigalith was going to use Meteor Beam but instead use Rockslide to pin down Araquanid so that he wouldn't be able to move which allowed for the Meteor Beam to land its mark." Bugsy says with Ash nodding as he speaks.

"Yep, that was the only way I could think of to take down your Araquanid." Ash responds with Bugsy nodding as he pulls out his next Pokeball and speaks.

"Well now it's time I bring out my next one. Heracross you're up!" Bugsy says as he throws the ball forward and sends out a Heracross. When the mon appears, it has a serious look on its face and looks at Gigalith with Gigalith looking at him as Ash begins to think.

"So, a Heracross is his next Pokémon. It looks tough but I'm sure that Gigalith can take it down." Ash says as he looks at Gigalith and speaks.

"Gigalith let's keep going!" Ash says with Gigalith nodding as he along with Heracross get into battle stances. The ref calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.

"Okay Gigalith use Sandstorm!" Ash calls with Gigalith nodding as when he goes to use the move Bugsy speaks.

"Oh no you don't! Heracross use Bullet Punch!" Bugsy calls surprising Ash as Heracross's fists glow in steel energy, the beetle shoots forward and reaches Gigalith instantly. Heracross then punches Gigalith 5 times in the face, causing super effective damage and causing him to stop using Sandstorm. Heracross then grabs Gigalith as Bugsy speaks.

"Now use Seismic Toss!" "Gigalith use Endure!" Both trainers' call. Before Gigalith can use Endure, Heracross lifts him high into the air, spins around and throws him down hard on the battlefield creating a dust cloud as Ash speaks.

"Gigalith!" Ash calls in worry as when the dust clears everyone can see Gigalith lying on his left side knocked out as the ref speaks.

"Gigalith's unable to battle Heracross's the winner!" The ref calls allowing for Bugsy and Heracross to smile. Over with Misty she speaks.

"Darn Gigalith lost." Misty says as Brock speaks.

"Unfortunately, Gigalith was already heavily weakened from his battles with Yanmega and Araquanid. Also, that Heracross is very tough, and Ash needs to use a Pokémon that matches it strength." Brock says with Misty nodding. Back on the battlefield Ash returns Gigalith back to his Pokeball, tells the mon thank you and puts the ball back on his belt. When Ash does that Ash looks over at Bugsy's Heracross and sees it glow for a little bit then speaks.

"Your Heracross does it have the Moxie ability?" Ash asks with Bugsy nodding as he speaks.

"Yes, he does he was strong before but now that his Moxie ability activated his attack power has grown." Bugsy says with Ash nodding as Bugsy continues to speak.

"So, Ash are you going to send out your Cyndaquil again or Decidueye?" Bugsy asks as Ash speaks.

"I'm sending in neither as I have another Pokémon that can battle Heracross." Ash responds while grabbing his next Pokeball and goes to throw it.

"Emboar, I choose you!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and sends out Emboar. When Emboar appears, he lets out a mighty roar creating a shockwave showcasing his power. Emboar then looks at Heracross with Heracross looking at him as Bugsy speaks.

"So, an Emboar's your next choice." Bugsy says with Ash nodding as he speaks.

"Yep, because even though your Heracross's attack power has grown I'm confident that Emboar can take whatever Heracross throws at him." Ash states with Emboar agreeing with him and making Bugsy smile. After that Heracross along with Emboar get into battle stances as the ref speaks.

"Let the battle continue!" The ref calls as Ash speaks.

"Emboar use Flamethrower!" "Heracross use Bullet Punch!" Both trainers' call. When Emboar goes to fire the stream of fire Heracross suddenly appears in front of him and punches Emboar 5 times in the face. Emboar groans a little in pain then looks at Heracross while still having his mouth covered in fire Ash speaks.

"Launch the flames Emboar!" Ash calls. Emboar roars and fires out a big stream of fire that consumes Heracross creating an explosion. Out of the explosion appears Heracross who's sent crashing back on the battlefield a few feet away, landing on its stomach as Bugsy speaks.

"You okay Heracross?" Bugsy asks with the beetle nodding as it stands up and looks at Emboar with the fire pig looking at it Bugsy begins to think.

"Even though Heracross hit Emboar before it could use Flamethrower it still managed to launch the attack. Not bad." Bugsy says to himself as Ash speaks.

"Okay Emboar use Flame Charge!" Ash calls. Emboar covers his body in fire and shoots forward going to hit Heracross as Bugsy speaks.

"Counter with Focus Punch!" Bugsy calls. Heracross flies forward, covers its left fist in blue fighting energy and collides with Emboar creating an explosion. Out of the explosion appears the two mons who're sent sliding away from each other, Ash speaks.

"Emboar use Flamethrower!" Ash calls. Emboar manages to stop himself and fires out a big stream of fire that heads for Heracross as Bugsy speaks.

"Heracross use Swords Dance then Aerial Ace!" Bugsy calls. Heracross nods as it has 3 swords dance around it which sharply increases its physical attack power. Heracross then shoots forward at a fast speed and is easily blowing the Flamethrower away. Heracross goes to hit Emboar as Ash speaks.

"Emboar block!" Ash calls. Emboar quickly brings up his arms and blocks Heracross's attack. The force of the attack pushes Emboar back a few feet away as Ash speaks.

"Use Flamethrower!" Ash calls. Emboar fires out another large stream of fire at Heracross as Bugsy speaks.

"You already tried this, Ash. Heracross use Aerial Ace!" Bugsy calls. Heracross nods and shoots forward at a fast speed easily blowing the Flamethrower away. Heracross goes to hit Emboar as Ash speaks.

"And you already tried this Bugsy. Emboar catch Heracross!" Ash calls. Emboar nods as he points his hands forward and collides with Heracross. When the two mons collide Heracross begins trying to knock Emboar away, but the fire pig isn't moving as he manages to stop Heracross and grab its horn. Bugsy along with Heracross have surprised looks on their faces as Heracross looks at Emboar who has his mouth opened Ash speaks.

"Now use Flamethrower!" "Heracross use Pin Missile!" Both trainers' call. When Emboar goes to use Flamethrower Heracross quickly fires out multiple pin like missiles from the tip of its horn making it hit Emboar hard in the face. This causes Emboar to let go of Heracross's horn, but he still has fire in his mouth as Ash speaks.

"Fire the flames Emboar!" "Heracross use High Horsepower!" Both trainers' call. Emboar roars and fires out a big stream of fire from his mouth that goes to hit Heracross. Heracross's horn gains an orange outline, cuts through the flames and hits Emboar hard in the face. Heracross sends Emboar crashing face first into the ground and cause super effective damage as Ash speaks.

"Emboar!" Ash calls in worry with Emboar groaning in pain. Heracross is standing over Emboar as Bugsy speaks.

"Now Heracross use Focus Punch!" Bugsy calls. Heracross covers its left fist in blue fighting energy and goes to hit Emboar as Ash speaks.

"Emboar use Flame Charge and go upward!" Ash calls. Emboar nods as he covers his body in fire, shoots upward, knocks away Heracross's fist and upper cuts the mon with his left fist. Heracross groans in pain then looks at Emboar while clenching its right fist as Bugsy speaks.

"Use Focus Punch!" Bugsy calls. Heracross covers its right fist in blue fighting energy and punches Emboar hard in the stomach making the mon cough in pain as he's sent sliding back a few feet away. Emboar looks at Heracross as Ash speaks.

"Use Heat Crash!" Ash calls. Emboar jumps forward, covers his body in fire and goes to hit Heracross as Bugsy speaks.

"Block Heracross!" Bugsy calls. Heracross quickly brings up its arms and blocks Emboar's attack creating an explosion. Out of the explosion appears Heracross who's sent sliding back Bugsy speaks.

"Use Pin Missile!" Bugsy calls. Heracross manages to stop itself, points its horn forward and fires out multiple pin like missiles that heads for Emboar as Ash speaks.

"Use Flamethrower!" Ash calls. Emboar roars and fires out a big stream of fire that easily gets rid of the missiles as Bugsy speaks.

"Use Aerial Ace!" Bugsy calls. Heracross shoots forward at a fast speed going to hit Emboar as Ash speaks.

"Emboar block then use Bulk Up!" Ash calls. Emboar sees Heracross coming, quickly brings up his arms and blocks the attack. Emboar stands his ground and increases his physical attack/defense power then looks at Heracross as Ash speaks.

"Use Flamethrower!" "Heracross back away then use Aeiral Ace again!" Both trainers' call. When Emboar fires out the stream of fire Heracross quickly jumps back avoiding the attack. Heracross then shoots forward going to hit Emboar as Ash speaks.

"Counter with Flame Charge!" Ash calls. Emboar covers his body in fire, shoots forward and collides with Heracross. When the two mons collide, they begin pushing each other back and forth trying to overpower the other. They continue to do that until they break out of their moves. The two mons look at each other and have their fists ready as their trainers speak.

"Heracross use Swords Dance then Close Combat!" "Emboar use Bulk Up then Close Combat!" Both trainers call with the two-mons roaring as they both increase their stats then begin punching each other repeatedly. As they're doing that both mons land hits on each other with each hit they land doing more than the last and they're equally matched. They continue to punch each other until they do it one more time and slide away from each other. When they do, Emboar manages to stop himself as Ash speaks.

"Use Flame Charge!" Ash calls. Emboar roars as he covers his body in fire, shoots forward and hits Heracross causing more damage to the mon. Heracross groans in pain then looks at Emboar as Bugsy speaks.

"Use Seismic Toss!" Bugsy calls. Heracross manages to grab Emboar's right arm, brings him high into the air and begins to spin. Heracross spins faster and faster then throws Emboar back down on the battlefield as hard as it can causing more damage to Emboar. Emboar's lying on his stomach groaning in pain but manages to stand back up as Bugsy speaks.

"Use High Horsepower!" Bugsy calls. Heracross's horn gains an orange outline and descends heading for Emboar as Ash speaks.

"Emboar back away then use Fire Pledge!" Ash calls. Emboar sees Heracross coming then quickly jumps back causing Heracross to slam its horn on the battlefield instead. Emboar lands a few feet away, flexes his biceps and punches the ground with his right fist summoning multiple pillars of fire that head for Heracross as Bugsy speaks.

"Heracross use Focus Blast!" Bugsy calls. Heracross nods as it puts its hands together creates an orange ball of fighting energy and shoots it forward. The attack manages to go through the fire pillars and heads for Emboar as Ash speaks.

"Emboar use Bulk Up and punch it back with Hammer Arm!" Ash calls. Emboar increases his physical attack/defense power, his right arm glows white and collides with the Focus Blast. When Emboar makes contact, the move begins trying to push Emboar back, but Emboar roars and manages to punch the attack back. The Focus Blast is now heading for Heracross as Bugsy speaks.

"Dodge Heracross!" Bugsy calls. Heracross quickly jumps to the right and dodges the move. When it does Emboar suddenly appears in front of it as Ash speaks.

"Now Emboar use Flare Blitz!" Ash calls. Before Bugsy can call for a command Emboar covers his body in an orange fire that then becomes blue and hits Heracross hard in the stomach. Heracross coughs in pain as Emboar roars and sends Heracross flying Heracross goes past Bugsy and crashes into a tree behind him creating a dust cloud as Bugsy speaks.

"Heracross!" Bugsy calls in worry as when the dust clears it shows Heracross leaning against the tree and is knocked out. Bugsy has a surprised look on his face as the ref speaks.

"Heracross's unable to battle Emboar's the winner!" The ref calls allowing for Ash, Pikachu, and Emboar to cheer. Off to the side Misty, Togetic and Brock cheer too. Back on the battlefield Bugsy returns Heracross back to its Pokeball, tells it thank you and puts the ball away. Bugsy then looks over at Ash who's looking at Emboar and speaks.

"Great job Emboar!" Ash says with Emboar nodding as a couple seconds later he takes some recoil damage and is groaning in pain. When Ash is about to ask Emboar if he's okay Bugsy speaks.

"Yanmega come back out!" Bugsy says as he throws the ball forward sending his Yanmega back in. The mon groans a little in pain but looks at Emboar with Emboar looking at it as Ash begins to think.

"Yanmega's back out. It took a lot of damage from its battle with Gigalith so I could keep Emboar in but Emboar just had a pretty intense battle against Heracross so I should return him for now." Ash says to himself as he pulls out Emboar's Pokeball and speaks.

"Emboar return!" Ash says with Emboar nodding as he goes back into his Pokeball. Ash puts the ball away as he pulls out his next Pokeball and speaks.

"Cyndaquil come back out!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and sends Cyndaquil back in." Once Cyndaquil appears he groans in pain from his previous battle against Shuckle then looks at Yanmega as off to the side Misty speaks.

"Cyndaquil's back out and still looks tired from his battle against Shuckle." Misty says as Brock speaks.

"Not only that but he's still poisoned too so Ash needs to end this battle fast." Brock says with Misty nodding. Back on the battlefield Ash looks at Cyndaquil and speaks.

"Cyndaquil, I know you're tired but hang in there!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu say with Cyndaquil nodding as he lets out a "Quill!" and ignites the flames on his back then gets into a battle stance with Yanmega doing the same. The ref calls for the battle to continue as Bugsy speaks.

"Yanmega let's end this fast use Aerial Ace!" Bugsy calls with Yanmega nodding as when it goes to use the move Ash speaks.

"Cyndaquil quick use Swift!" Ash calls. Cyndaquil quickly fires out multiple stars from his mouth that make contact with Yanmega doing damage to the mon as Ash speaks.

"Yeah, good job Cyndaquil keep going!" Ash says with Cyndaquil nodding as when he continues to fire the attack he stops and begins to groan from poison damage as Ash speaks.

"Oh no!" Ash says as Bugsy speaks.

"Now Yanmega head for Cyndaquil!" Bugsy calls. Yanmega's Speed Boost ability activates and begins heading for Cyndaquil as Ash speaks.

"Cyndaquil use Flamethrower!" Yanmega use Double Team!" Both trainers' call. Cyndaquil sees Yanmega coming and quickly fires out a stream of fire from his mouth that heads for the mon. Yanmega manages to summon multiple clones of itself and dodges the attack. Yanmega continues heading for Cyndaquil as Bugsy speaks.

"This is the end for your Cyndaquil Ash! Yanmega use Aerial Ace!" Bugsy calls with Yanmega nodding as it begins to speed up going to hit Cyndaquil Ash speaks.

"Cyndaquil quick use Smokescreen!" Ash calls. Just when Yanmega's about to hit Cyndaquil, Cyndaquil quickly shoots out a black cloud of smoke that connects with Yanmega making it stop as it begins to cough, and the entire battlefield is covered in the black smoke Bugsy speaks.

"Yanmega blow it away with Whirlwind! Bugsy calls with Yanmega nodding as it flaps its wings fast and easily blows the black cloud of smoke away. When it does Yanmega along with Bugsy see that Cyndaquil's gone as Bugsy speaks.

"What? Where'd it go?" Bugsy says as while he along with Yanmega begin looking for the mon Ash speaks.

"Flamethrower!" Ash calls. Suddenly a big stream of fire appears from the sky and makes contact with Yanmega consuming the mon. Inside the fire Yanmega's crying out in pain as Bugsy speaks.

"Where'd that come from?" Bugsy questions as he looks up in the air and sees Cyndaquil. Bugsy has a surprised look on his face and speaks.

"It's in the air?!" Bugsy says with Ash nodding as he speaks.

"Yep, after using Smokescreen I had Cyndaquil jump high in the air and surprise Yanmega with Flamethrower." Ash responds then gets a serious look on his face and speaks.

"Okay Cyndaquil use Flame Wheel!" Ash calls. Cyndaquil nods as he stops using Flamethrower, becomes a wheel of fire and descends heading for Yanmega Bugsy speaks.

"Yanmega dodge with Double Team!" "We won't let you! Cyndaquil boost your speed with Flamethrower!" Ash calls. Up in the air Cyndaquil nods as he fires out a Flamethrower and speeds himself up making him go faster. Cyndaquil keeps going until he hits Yanmega and pushes the mon back on the battlefield creating an explosion as Bugsy speaks.

"Yanmega!" Bugsy calls in worry as when the smoke clears it shows Cyndaquil panting heavily while looking at Yanmega who's lying on its back knocked out. The ref makes the call.

"Yanmega's unable to battle Cyndaquil's the winner!" The ref calls allowing for Ash, Pikachu and Cyndaquil to cheer as Ash speaks.

"Way to go Cyndaquil!" Ash says with Cyndaquil smiling but his smile doesn't last for long as he takes poison damage again then falls on his stomach. Ash has a surprised look on his face as the ref speaks.

"Cyndaquil's unable to battle!" The ref calls with Ash nodding as he along with Bugsy return Cyndaquil and Yanmega back to their Pokeball's. Off to the side Misty speaks.

"Even though Cyndaquil fainted to the poison it was good that he managed to take down Yanmega." Misty says with Brock agreeing with her. Back on the battlefield Bugsy pulls out his next Pokeball and speaks.

"Ariados come out!" Bugsy says as he throws the ball forward and sends out an Ariados. When the mon appears, it has a serious look on its face as Ash speaks.

"Decidueye come back out!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and sends in Decidueye. Decidueye groans a little in pain from his previous battles with Araquanid and Yanmega but can still continue. The ref calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.

"Decidueye use Air Slash!" "Ariados use Sucker Punch!" Both trainers' call. When Decidueye goes to use Air Slash Ariados disappears then reappears in front of Decidueye and punches him hard across the face with its left front leg. Ariados then looks at Decidueye as Bugsy speaks.

"Now use Night Shade!" "Decidueye use Phantom Force to dodge then use Spirit Shackle!" Both trainers' call. Ariados sends out 2 ghostly beams from its eyes at Decidueye, but the ghost owl manages to easily evade but diving into a portal. A portal then appears behind Ariados as Decidueye shoots out a quill filled with ghost energy at Ariados as Bugsy speaks.

"Knock it away with Night Slash then use Bug Bite!" Bugsy calls. Ariados covers its right front leg in dark energy, turns around and easily knocks the ghostly quill away. Ariados then goes to bite Decidueye as Ash speaks.

"Decidueye use Feather Dance then Brave Bird!" Ash calls. Decidueye flaps his wings forward, sending him back and leaving a feathered version of himself in his place causing Ariados to attack it instead. Ariados can feel its attack power decreasing as Decidueye then shoots forward, glows in blue flying energy and hits Ariados creating an explosion. Out of the smoke appears Decidueye who flies in the air (taking some recoil damage) while Ariados groans in pain then looks at Decidueye as Bugsy speaks.

"Ariados use Sticky Web!" "Decidueye use Aerial Ace then Leaf Blade!" Both trainers' call. Ariados begins firing out multiple webs that head for Decidueye. Decidueye sees the webs coming then shoots down at a fast speed easily getting rid of them. Once Decidueye destroys all of the webs his wings become grassy blades and slashes Ariados appearing right behind the mon. Ariados groans in pain as it then lays on its stomach knocked out while the ref speaks.

"Ariados is unable to battle Decidueye's the winner!" The ref calls allowing for Ash, Pikachu and Decidueye to cheer while off to the side Misty speaks.

"Nice Decidueye managed to take down Ariados fast." Misty says as Brock speaks.

"Yep, and now they just have to defeat one more." Brock says. Back on the battlefield Bugsy returns Ariados back to its Pokeball, tells the mon thank you and puts the ball away. Bugsy then looks over at Ash and speaks.

"Wow Ash I have to say you really are a skilled trainer that's competed in the Kanto and Orange Leagues." Bugsy says with Ash nodding as Bugsy pulls out his last Pokeball and speaks.

"But even though you're skilled I wonder how you'll fair against my strongest bug type. Scizor come out!" Bugsy says as he throws the ball forward and sends out a Scizor. When the mon appears, it has a serious look on its face as Ash looks at it and speaks.

"So, a Scizor's his final Pokémon" Ash says as he then takes a closer look at Scizor sees what looks to be a gauntlet on its left arm and has a mega stone inside it. Ash gets a surprised look on his face and speaks.

"Wait is that a mega stone?" Ash asks as Bugsy smiles and speaks.

"Why yes it is and now it's finally time for me to do this." Bugsy says as he pulls out a keystone from his left pocket and begins to speak.

"Now Scizor Mega Evolve!" Bugsy says as he touches the key stone causing it along with Scizor's mega stone to glow. Beams of light come out from both stones, connecting with each other and causing Scizor to glow. As Scizor's glowing its body begins to change as when light fades away, what was once a regular Scizor is now a Mega Scizor. Scizor has its eyes closed then opens them and swings out its arms creating a big shockwave along with a strong gust of wind that tries to blow Ash, Pikachu, and Decidueye back but they stand their ground. When the wind and shockwave disappear Scizor looks forward and has a serious look on its face. Off to the side Misty along with Togetic and Brock have surprised looks too as Misty speaks.

"Bugsy can mega evolve his Pokémon too?" Misty says as Brock speaks.

"Does every gym leader in Johto have access to Mega Evolution?" Brock questions as back on the battlefield Ash along with Pikachu and Decidueye still have surprised looks on their faces as Bugsy speaks.

"You 3 look surprised." Bugsy says as Ash speaks.

"Yeah, I wasn't expecting you to Mega Evolve your Scizor. Does every gym leader in Johto mega evolve their Pokémon?" Ash asks as Bugsy speaks.

"Not everyone some of them use Z Moves or Terastallization it mainly depends on what they prefer. Seeing as my ace is Scizor of course I'd choose Mega Evolution as it was obvious to me." Bugsy says with Ash nodding as he speaks.

"Well, it's good to know that not every gym leader uses Mega Evolution but now that I know that they'll use either Z moves or Terastallization it does make me more excited." Ash says as Bugsy speaks.

"Oh, and why's that?" Bugsy asks as Ash speaks.

"Because it makes things unpredictable and also makes the battles more fun that way." Ash responds with Bugsy nodding as he speaks.

"I see but Ash tell me do you think that you can defeat my Mega Scizor?" Bugsy asks as Ash smiles and speaks.

"Yes!" Ash responds with Pikachu and Decidueye agreeing with him and making Bugsy smile. After that Scizor along with Decidueye get into battle stances. The ref calls for the battle to continue and just when Ash's about to call for a command Bugsy speaks.

"Use Night Slash!" Bugsy calls as in a blink of an eye Scizor shoots forward reaches Decidueye, covers its pincers in dark energy and slashes Decidueye. Decidueye groans in pain then falls on his stomach knocked out. The ref makes the call.

"Decidueye's unable to battle Scizor's the winner!" The ref calls allowing for Bugsy and Scizor to smile while Ash and Pikachu have surprised looks on their faces. Off to the side Misty along with Togetic and Brock have surprised looks too as Misty speaks.

"it's over just like that?" Misty says as Brock speaks.

"Scizor's are known for being fast so now that Bugsy's Scizor Mega Evolved it's even faster than before. Brock says as back on the battlefield Ash recomposes himself and returns Decidueye back to his Pokeball. Ash tells Decidueye thank you and to get a good rest. Ash pulls out his next Pokeball and speaks.

"Emboar come back out!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and sends in Emboar. Emboar lets out a roar and looks at Scizor with Scizor looking at him. The ref calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.

"Emboar quick use Flame Charge!" Ash calls with Emboar nodding as when he goes to use the move Bugsy speaks.

"Use Bullet Punch!" Bugsy calls Scizor nods as it shoots forward and instantly reaches Emboar. Scizor covers both of its pincers in steel energy and punches Emboar 5 times in the face. Emboar groans in pain then falls on his back knocked out as the ref makes the call.

"Emboar's unable to battle Scizor's the winner!" The ref calls surprising Ash along with Pikachu as Ash speaks.

"I know that Scizor's a lot stronger after fully evolving but Bullet Punch shouldn't have done that much damage to Emboar." Ash says as Bugsy speaks.

"The reason as to why Bullet Punch did so much damage is because after Scizor Mega Evolves he gets the Technician ability which increases his weaker moves up by 60%. So, if you combine that with the power of him mega evolving it shouldn't be too surprising as to why your Emboar lost to a non-effective move." Bugsy says with Ash nodding as he returns Emboar back to his Pokeball. Off to the side Brock speaks.

"So, that's why this just got a lot more difficult for Ash," Brock says as Misty speaks.

"Yeah, and they both have one Pokémon left." Misty says as back on the battlefield Ash pulls out his final Pokeball begins to look at it as Bugsy speaks.

"I'm curious to see what your final Pokémon is Ash, but it doesn't matter what it is as it won't defeat Scizor." Bugsy says while having a confident look on his face as Ash looks at him and speaks.

"You won't be saying that once you see my last one. Now! Kleavor, I Choose You!" Ash says as he throws the ball forward and sends out Kleavor. Once Kleavor appears he has a serious look on his face and looks at Scizor with Scizor look at him as both Pokémon can tell that they're strong. Bugsy looks at Kleavor and has a surprised look on his face as he speaks.

"A Kleavor?! I've read about them in books, but never once have I seen one in person." Bugsy says as Ash speaks.

"Yeah, I was surprised to when my Scyther evolved yesterday and after evolving he's grown a lot stronger and is going take down your Scizor!" Ash states with Kleavor agreeing with him as Bugsy speaks.

"You seem very confident Ash but let me remind you that my Scizor has a type advantage against Kleavor meaning that it's already at a disadvantage." Bugsy says as Ash speaks.

"True but sometimes typing doesn't matter and I believe in Kleavor." Ash responds while having a determined look on his face with Bugsy nodding as he looks at Scizor and speaks.

"Scizor get ready!" Bugsy says with Scizor nodding as it along with Kleavor get into battle stances the ref begins to speak.

"This is the final battle both trainers have one Pokémon left whoever defeats their opponents Pokémon first will be declared the victor!" The ref says with both trainers and their Pokémon nodding as the ref continues to speak.

"Now then let the final match begin!" The ref calls as Bugsy speaks.

"Scizor use Bullet Punch!" Bugsy calls. Scizor nods as it shoots forward and reaches Kleavor instantly. Scizor covers its pincers in steel energy and goes to hit Kleavor as Ash speaks.

"Block Kleavor!" Ash calls. Kleavor quickly brings up his right axe and blocks Scizor's attack causing it to punch the axe instead. Once Scizor does it looks at Kleavor and sees that he's unfazed as Bugsy speaks.

"Not only did it react to Scizor but also managed to successfully block his attack." Bugsy says while having an impressed look on his face Ash speaks.

"Kleavor use Night Slash!" Scizor back away then use Flash Cannon!" Both trainers' call. Kleavor covers his left axe in dark energy and goes to hit Scizor, but the mon quickly jumps back. Scizor then points both of its pincers forward and fires out a large Flash Cannon that heads for Kleavor. Kleavor looks at the beam and isn't worried as Ash speaks.

"Use Rock Smash!" Ash calls. Kleavor covers his right axe in red fighting energy, lifts it up and slashes the Flash Cannon in half causing it to explode. When the smoke clears Kleavor looks at Scizor as over with Bugsy he has a surprised look on his face and speaks.

"It even managed to cut Scizor's Flash Cannon in two." Bugsy says to himself then gets a smile on his face and speaks.

"Bug types truly are amazing." Bugsy says while having a smile on his face as Ash speaks.

"Let's go Kleavor! Run forward!" Ash calls. Kleavor nods and begins running forward heading for Scizor as Bugsy speaks.

"Use Metal Claw!" Bugsy calls. Scizor shoots forward, covers its left pincer in steel energy and goes to hit Kleavor as Ash speaks.

"Use Double Team!" Ash calls. When Scizor's about to hit Kleavor, Kleavor quickly manages to create multiple clones of himself and dodges Scizor's attack. Scizor then looks around and sees that it's surrounded as Ash speaks.

"Use Stone Edge!" Ash calls. Kleavor, along with his clones, fire out multiple sharp stones that head for Scizor as Bugsy speaks.

"Use Flash Cannon!" Bugsy calls. Scizor fires out two large steel beams that easily destroy the sharp stones along with Kleavor's clones. One of the Flash Cannons head for the real Kleavor as Ash speaks.

"Kleavor jump then use Rock Smash!" Ash calls. Kleavor nods as he quickly jumps high in the air and dodges the steel beam. Kleavor heads for Scizor, covers both of his axes in red fighting energy and goes to hit Scizor as Bugsy speaks.

"Block with Metal Claw!" Bugsy calls. Scizor brings up its pincers, covers them in steel energy and blocks Kleavor's attack creating a shockwave. When that happens Kleavor begins to slowly overpower Scizor with the mon doing its best to hang on. Scizor then swings out its arms making Kleavor go flying as he lands on the battlefield a few feet away. The two mons look at each other as their trainers speak.

"Scizor use Swords Dance and keep using Metal Claw!" "Kleavor use Swords Dance and keep using Rock Smash!" Both trainers call with the two-mons nodding as they both sharply increase their physical attack power, shoot forward and collide creating a shockwave. After that the two mons begin clashing with each other with each one trying to land a hit on their opponent. The two mons then clash with each other again and are looking at each other trying to overpower their opponent as Bugsy speaks.

"Use Iron Head!" Bugsy calls. Scizor nods as it quickly covers its head in steel energy and hits Kleavor's head causing super effective damage to him. Kleavor groans in pain then looks at Scizor as Ash speaks.

"Use Night Slash!" Ash calls. Kleavor covers both of his axes in dark energy and slashes at Scizor's chest causing damage to the mon. This causes Scizor to walk back a couple feet and hold its chest as Bugsy speaks.

"How did that Night Slash do so much damage to Scizor?" Bugsy questions as Ash speaks.

"That's because my Kleavor has the ability Sharpness which increases the power of his slicing moves to 50%" Ash says with Bugsy nodding as he speaks.

"I see. I must say Ash your Kleavor is truly impressive, but my Scizor won't go down." Bugsy says with his Scizor nodding as Ash speaks.

"That's fine with us as we love a challenge." Ash says with Kleavor agreeing with him as Bugsy speaks.

"In that case I think it's time we stop playing around." Bugsy says as he gets a serious look on his face and speaks.

"Scizor use Metal Claw!" Bugsy calls. Scizor covers both of its pincers in steel energy and goes to hit Kleavor with its right pincer Ash speaks.

"Kleavor dodge then use Air Slash!" Ash calls. Kleavor nods as he quickly jumps back and lands a few feet away. Kleavor then swings his axes forward and sends out a big slash of wind at Scizor as Bugsy speaks.

"Dodge Scizor!" Bugsy calls. Scizor moves to the left and dodges the attack as Ash speaks.

"Use Aerial Ace!" Ash calls. Kleavor shoots forward at blinding speed and hits Scizor hard in the face causing damage to it. Scizor groans in pain then looks at Kleavor as Bugsy speaks.

"Use Flash Cannon!" "Block Kleavor!" Both trainers' call. Scizor quickly points its right pincer forward and fires out a big steel beam. Kleavor quickly brings up his axes and blocks the attack as he's sent crashing on the battlefield a few feet away creating an explosion. When the explosion clears Kleavor's overall fine as Bugsy speaks.

"Now use Bullet Punch!" Bugsy calls. Scizor shoots forward, instantly reaches Kleavor, covers its pincers in steel energy and punches Kleavor hard in the face 5 times causing damage to him. Kleavor looks at Scizor as Ash speaks.

"Use Rock Smash!" Ash calls. Kleavor's left axe glows in red fighting energy and upper cuts Scizor causing more damage to it. Scizor groans in pain then looks at Kleavor as Bugsy speaks.

"Hit it back with Metal Claw!" Bugsy calls. Scizor covers its left pincer in steel energy and hits Kleavor hard across the face causing more damage. Scizor then points both of its pincers forward as Bugsy speaks.

"Use Flash Cannon!" "Kleavor use Double Team to dodge!" Both trainers' call. When Scizor fires out the steel beam Kleavor quickly creates multiple clones of himself and dodges the attack as Scizor blows all of the clones away. Scizor then looks up and sees Kleavor high in the air as Ash speaks.

"Use Air Slash!" Ash calls. Kleavor nods and begins swinging his axe arms fast, sending out large slashes of wind at Scizor as Bugsy speaks.

"Scizor use Aerial Ace!" Bugsy calls. Scizor nods as it shoots high in the air going at a fast speed and is easily going through the slashes of wind. Scizor heads for Kleavor as Ash speaks.

"Kleavor counter with your Aerial Ace!" Ash calls. Kleavor shoots at Scizor and collides with it, creating an explosion. Out of the explosion appears the two mons who land safely on the ground and look at each other as Bugsy and Ash speak.

"Use Fury Cutter!" Both trainers call with the two-mons nodding as they cover their arms in red bug energy, shoot forward and collide creating a shockwave. After that they begin clashing with each other and are landing hits on each other too with each hit they land doing more damage than the last. The two mons then hit each other again then slide away from each other as Bugsy speaks.

"Use Flash Cannon!" Bugsy calls. Scizor manages to stop itself and fires out a big Flash Cannon that heads for Kleavor as Ash speaks.

"Cut it in half with Rock Smash!" Ash calls. Kleavor covers his right axe in red fighting energy and slams it down on the Flash Cannon easily destroying it. When Kleavor does that he looks forward and sees that Scizor's charging up a Hyper Beam as Bugsy speaks.

"Fire!" Bugsy calls as Scizor roars and fires out a large orange beam that heads for Kleavor Ash speaks.

"Kleavor use Stone Axe!" Ash calls. Kleavor nods as he raises his stone axes above his head and starts to glow a dark orange. Kleavor then slams the axes on the ground creating a cluster of dark purple jagged stone pillars in front of himself. The pillars then begin to fire multiple splinters that connect with the Hyper Beam. When the two moves connect, they begin pushing each other back and forth as Bugsy speaks.

"Scizor don't lose!" Bugsy calls with Scizor nodding as it increases the power of its Hyper Beam making it start to slowly push the splinters back as Ash speaks.

"Keep going Kleavor!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu cheer with Kleavor nodding as he roars summoning more and more splinters that begin to overpower the Hyper Beam surprising Bugsy as he speaks.

"What?!" Bugsy says in shock as a few seconds later the splinters completely destroy the Hyper Beam and connect with Scizor creating an explosion as Bugsy speaks.

"Scizor!" Bugsy calls in worry as when the smoke clears it shows Scizor still standing and groaning in pain. Bugsy lets out a relief sigh but then sees some splinters floating around Scizor then disappear as Bugsy speaks.

"So, after landing a hit with Stone Axe it leaves splinters behind, and I guess if Scizor makes contact with those they'll explode." Bugsy says to himself while having a smile on his face impressed by Kleavor's strength as over with Ash he speaks.

"His Scizor survived getting hit by Stone Axe I guess I shouldn't be too surprised as this means that now Scizor will take more damage over time. This also means that it gives us a good reason to continue attacking." Ash says to himself as he looks at Kleavor with the mon nodding as Ash speaks.

"Okay Kleavor use Air Slash!" Ash calls. Kleavor nods and swings out his right axe sending out a large slash of wind that heads for Scizor as Bugsy speaks.

"Use Flash Cannon!" Bugsy calls. Scizor nods and quickly fires out a big steel beam that collides with the wind slash creating an explosion. After that a few of the floating splinters around Scizor explode causing more damage to the mon and creating a dust cloud. Scizor looks around and sees what looks to be Kleavor in front of it as Bugsy speaks.

"Scizor use Metal Claw!" Bugsy calls with Scizor nodding as it lands its attack. Once it does, Scizor sees that it was actually a clone as the real Kleavor appears behind it and has his axes ready as Ash speaks.

"This is it Kleavor! USE STONE AXE!" "SCIZOR KLEAVOR'S BEHIND YOU DODGEEEEEEEE!" Both trainers' call. Scizor quickly looks behind and sees Kleavor. Before Scizor can do anything Kleavor's body glows in a dark energy shoots forward and slashes Scizor with his axes. Kleavor appears behind Scizor who has a surprised look on its face as Bugsy speaks.

"SCIZOR!" Bugsy calls as over with Scizor, it's groaning in pain and stumbling. Scizor looks at Kleavor one more time before it closes its eyes and falls on its stomach. Scizor reverts back to its original form as the ref makes the call.

"Scizor's unable to battle Kleavor's the winner! Seeing as Gym Leader Bugsy has no more Pokémon left the victory goes to the challenger Ash Ketchum of Pallet Town!" The ref calls making Ash smile as he speaks.

"WE WON!" "PIKA!" Ash along with Pikachu let out a loud cheer while Kleavor raises his right axe high in the air for victory. Over with Misty, Togetic and Brock they let out a loud cheer too as Misty speaks.

"They Won!" "Tic!" Misty along with Togetic cheer as Brock speaks.

"It was a hard-fought battle on both sides but Ash and Kleavor came out the victors." Brock says as back on the battlefield Kleavor has made it back over to Ash and Pikachu who wrap the mon in a hug and speak.

"Great job Kleavor I knew you could do it!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu say making Kleavor smile. After that Emboar, Decidueye, Cyndaquil, Gigalith, and Sneasel come out of their Pokeball's as Ash speaks.

"You guys did amazing too!" Ash says making the 5-mons happy as they congratulate Kleavor making the mon smile. Over with Bugsy he has a surprised look on his face but then smiles and speaks.

"Oh well." Bugsy says as he then walks over to Scizor asking the mon if it's okay with Scizor nodding and telling Bugsy sorry, but Bugsy tells him that it's okay. The two of them then look forward and see Ash celebrating with his Pokémon and begin walking over to them. A few seconds later Ash, along with his Pokémon, stop celebrating as they see Bugsy along with Scizor walking towards them. When they get close enough Bugsy speaks.

"Well Ash I've to say going into this battle I was sure that I was going to win but you managed to defeat us with the great strategies that you along with your Pokémon came up with." Bugsy says with Ash along with his Pokémon nodding as Bugsy then reaches into his right pocket pulls out something and speaks.

"Here this is the Hive Badge it's proof of you defeating my gym you along with your Pokémon deserve it." Bugsy says giving the badge to Ash as he tells Bugsy thank you then speaks.

"We just got the Hive Badge!" "Pi, Pika, Chu!" Ash along with Pikachu and the rest of his Pokémon let out a loud cheer. Misty, Togetic and Brock walk over to Ash and congratulate him with Ash saying thank you as Bugsy then looks at Ash and speaks.

"Hey Ash, you ever decide to come back to Azalea Town Scizor, along with me and the rest of my Pokémon would love to have a rematch." Bugsy says with Scizor agreeing with him making Ash smile as he speaks.

"Sure Bugsy, but by the time we meet again my Pokémon will be a lot stronger and I'll be an even better trainer than I am now." Ash says with his Pokémon agreeing with him and making Bugsy smile as he and Ash shake hands. After that the group leave the Azalea Gym and head over to the Pokémon Center so that Ash could heal his Pokémon. Once that was over Ash called Prof. Oak letting him know that he won his badge which made Oak along with Daisy, Tracey and Ash's other Pokémon happy. Ash then wanted to switch out his Pokémon and told Oak that he'll send Kleavor over so that he along with Tracey and Daisy could study him. Oak told Ash thank you and once the transfer was completed the group headed out of the center and went over to Kurt's house. They asked Kurt if there were any more updates on the GS Ball, but Kurt says no and tells them that he'll keep looking into it and contact Prof. Oak once he's figured out something. Kurt also tells them to take care of the Pokeball's he made for them with the group saying they will as after that they leave. We now see the group outside of the city with the sun beginning to set as Ash speaks.

"Well, we're finally leaving Azalea Town." Ash says as Brock speaks.

"It took us a long time to get here but it was worth it." Brock says with Ash and Misty nodding as Misty speaks.

"Yep, so now it's time for us to hit the road." Misty says as Ash speaks.

"By the way where's the next gym located?" Ash asks as Brock pulls out his guide and speaks.

"The next gym is located in Goldenrod City, and it should take us about a couple weeks to get there." Brock says with Ash and Misty nodding as Misty speaks.

"Hey, wasn't there someone named Whitney who Leaf faced in the SS. Anne tournament who said that she was the gym leader?" Misty asks as Brock speaks.

"Now that I think about it, you're right Misty and I believe she used normal type Pokémon." Brock says as Ash speaks.

"So, Goldenrod's my next destination. All Right Let's Go!" "Pika!" Ash along with Pikachu cheer as they begin running forward leaving Misty along with Togetic and Brock behind as they speak.

"Ash Wait!" The two trainers say as they along with Togetic begin running after the boy and yellow mouse as the chapter comes to an end.
