Sonic paced anxiously outside of G.U.N, anger flooding his veins.
Why did Shadow do it?
Why did Ivo do it?
Why did he do it?
"You always have a choice."
Sonic clentched his fist, feeling the tingle of electricity between his fingers.
"Sonic?" Tails was quiet, worried.
So was he.
"You always have a choice."
He paced some more. "Hedgehog."
He ignored Knuckles and kept pacing, watching as the ambulance drove away. As Tom drove away.

Tails grabbed his arm. He shook it off. Tails whimpered.
Sonic's heart dropped further.
"You always have a choice."
He inhaled deeply, his resolve made. "I'm gonna stop him. By any means necessary." He turned to face Knuckles. Tails inhaled deeply. "You don't mean-" Sonic nodded gravely, already readying for a fight. "The Master Emerald."
