This story is getting crazy long, and I still have to get past this arc and then the Tartaros arc. I'm so hitting past chapter 100. Let's make a bet. Whoever comes the closest to the number of chapters there will be at the end can pick the fandom of the next fanfic I write. Here are the choices: Bleach, Fairy Tail, Harry Potter, and -Man. I only picked these because I have ideas for them already, including crossovers. I had three others, but there is only one idea for each of them.
My guess is around 140. I'm playing it safe, but it is probably going to be shorter. You can only guess once, so be careful of your guesses.
Now let's get on with the chapter! ;)

"And now! The final team to make it into our wonderful tournament is...Team Fairy Tail B?!" the pumpkin-headed announcer exclaimed in shock. Not only was it due to the fact that Fairy Tail got two teams into the tournament, but also that this one also got to the finish line first. The pumpkin-head wondered how they did that.
Team Fairy Tail B walked out into the arena looking calm and collected. They knew why they were there, and they were going to make sure that Fairy Tail was number one again. They had heard how the crowd booed Fairy Tail Team A, so they planned to make it where the crowd cheered instead by the end of this.
Team B saw the shocked looks on everyone's faces, including Team A. This made every member of Team B smirk.
"You didn't think Master had a back up plan? You know how he works. We're in this to win it," said Harry, making Laxus, Mirajane, Gajeel, and Juvia grin a little wider.
"Let's show everyone here why Fairy Tail was always number 1 in the past," said Laxus, making both Fairy Tail teams nod with grins.
"Right!"
~Yesterday Morning~
Harry and his team were making their way to Clover with the rest of Fairy Tail, while Fairy Tail Team A were in their own carriage. Makarov wanted to keep Team B a secret until they showed themselves within the arena already. They don't plan to disappoint their master.
The carriage stopped, announcing to Harry that they have made it to Clover. He and the others get out, and Makarov tells them that they can wander around, but they have to be at the inn before midnight. So Harry leaves with Fawkes on his shoulder, Castor to his right, and Ron and Hermione to his left.
"We should check out the bookstore," said Hermione while pointing at said bookstore.
Ron chuckled and shook his head fondly. "Of course you want to check out the books," he said.
"You want to check out some books, Castor?" asked Harry.
"I wouldn't mind," replied his son.
"I guess we're checking out the bookstore." Harry and his friends were about to walk in when the black-haired wizard spotted Natsu, Lucy, Gray, Wendy, and Erza, but four of the five looked like they were hit by a train. Natsu looking bad didn't surprise Harry much since he did recently get off a carriage, but the other threw him for a loop. "I'll be right there, guys," Harry told his two old friends and son before he made his way to Team A.
"Hello Harry, how was the trip?" asked Erza.
"It was fine, but it doesn't look like it was as kind to your team," he said.
"Actually, they are acting like this due to their Second Origin being released. Natsu is worse because of both that and his motion sickness," explained the Fairy Queen.
"Second Origin? I have heard of that when I was training with Death," said Harry. "I have already unlocked mine during that training. How did they unlock theirs'? They shouldn't look this bad."
"They had help from Ultear."
"They had accepted help from her?"
"She had changed over the seven years. She wishes to repay for the sins she had made in the past. It's really thanks to Gray that it happened."
"That's good," Harry said with a smile, and then turned to the rest of Team A. "I hope you guys feel better soon or else you are going to feel like that during the tournament."
"Thanks Harry, we can just feel the love," said Natsu with a half-hearted glare. Harry just smiled brightly before heading back to the bookstore. "I'll see you guys back at the inn. You might want to head there now and rest if you're stumbling like that," he called back over his shoulder.
"That's not a bad idea," Harry heard Lucy say before he got too far, then entered the bookstore.
Harry, Ron, Hermione, Castor, and Fawkes made it back to the inn in time for dinner. While they were eating, Hermione asked, "Why do the teams have to be in their inns before midnight?"
Harry shrugged his shoulders. "I guess we'll find out when the time comes."
"Could it just be a curfew?" asked Ron.
{I don't think so…} said Fawkes. {I feel like that something is going to happen. The teams have to be in their shared room before that time too.} Harry repeated what Fawkes said.
"Maybe it has something to do with the tournament," said Hermione. "But why at such a late time?"
Harry and Ron shrugged their shoulders. They figured they'll find out later.
When the time hit 11:00PM, Harry got up from his seating. "I'm going to go up to my room," he said.
"Do you know who you're staying with?" asked Ron.
"Yeah, it's Laxus," Harry answered, but Laxus wasn't his only roommate currently.
He got up into the room where he found the rest of his teammates. "Do any of you know why we have to be here?" he asked.
"Not at the moment," said Mirajane, who got up and went over to Harry with a smile.
Harry returned the smile and hugged her, planting a kiss on the top of her head. "I guess we'll just wait it out," he said.
"Juvia wonders what they're going to do to lower the numbers of guilds that are going to enter this tournament," said Juvia.
"Probably some kind of elimination round," Laxus said.
"Do you think that is why we have to be here?" asked Gajeel. "After all, all the teams have to be ready within their inns."
"That's a good point," said Harry.
{Sadly I can't join,} said Fawkes with his feathers laying flat.
Harry pet his breast feathers. "Don't worry, Fawkes. I need someone to keep an eye out for Castor anyway. Think you can handle that?"
{You know everyone will keep an eye on the children.}
{That is true.}
Mira looked up at the clock to see how much time they had left. "Well, I guess we should relax while we can. We only have 40 minutes left," she said, and everyone nodded their heads in agreement.
Harry was looking out the window when he noticed something starting to form in the sky. It looked like a ball of some sort, but it had pathways. 'What is that for?' he thought. He turned to check the time, and saw that it was 11:58PM. Harry's eyes widened in realization. 'It must be for the game.' He decided to tell the others to get ready. "I think the game is about to start, guys."
Everyone looked up from what they were doing and saw him pointing out the window. They all got up and saw what Harry saw floating in the sky.
"What is that?" asked Juvia, and shortly after she did, a hologram of a pumpkin-headed man appeared in the air.
"Welcome everyone to another year of the Grand Magic Games! The preliminary round is about to start so we can lower our numbers of participants from 113 to 8. After we have our 8 teams, then the games can truly start!
"The goal of this game is to get all members of your team to Domus Flau, which is in the center of this labyrinth. You may use whatever magic and skill you need to succeed in this."
Spotlights turned on and shined down on the ball that Team B already saw.
"This is what you have to navigate through, but be warned, the maze likes to change from time to time." That made Harry think of the stairs back at Hogwarts. "Welcome to the Sky Labyrinth! The preliminary round begins now!"
The hologram vanished, and shortly after he did, roads of light appeared at the windows of each team.
"Let's go, guys!" declared Laxus as he jumped out the window and started running along the road. The others began to follow, but before Harry made a move to follow along, he turned to Fawkes.
"Stay here. We'll be back soon," he said to his familiar. Once Fawkes had jumped off of Harry's shoulder, the wizard teleported to the others of his team to catch up. He had learned to do that from Zeref during their training with Death.
The moment Team B stepped foot within the Sky Labyrinth was when the preliminary round really started.
TBC
I decided to kick Jellal out of Team B, because one: he isn't a member of Fairy Tail, and two: he doesn't do much of anything important within the games themselves. He was more useful out of them.
Oh, before I forget. Wendy is with Team A instead of Elfman, because the guy that drained her of her magic, Zeref's familiar, isn't there. Zeref didn't bother to send it, because Harry is there to tell him what was going on in the Grand Magic Games.
Natsu: Well that's good. Wendy really should have had her time to really shine. Those cheaters from Raven Tail… *growling*
Zeref: Calm down, Natsu. ^^'
Enj/Dark: Raven Tail will still get what's coming to them, so don't worry.
Voldemort: I just remembered that you have me with them.
Enj/Dark: Yes, I had to replace Zeref's familiar with someone, and you were perfect for the job.
Harry: Did it have to be him, though?
Enj/Dark: I needed someone you would hate in the games too, Harry. Who better than Voldy?
Voldy: Don't call me that.
Natsu: Zeref, it's your turn.
Zeref: Please review!
